10 South is a beautiful historic brick wedding venue in downtown Janesville, Wisconsin. First built in 1929 as an armory for the National Guard, this building was fully revitalized in 2022 with modern amenities while preserving the history within the brick walls. The entire venue - three floors plus an outdoor patio with fireplace - is all yours for the duration of your event. And don't worry about the journey; 10 South's experienced staff will help guide you through the process from the moment you inquire and all the way through your wedding day! 10 South is a large venue that best accommodates weddings of 100-375 guests. The Main Hall features historic elegance throughout, with its exposed brick walls and oversized windows to provide plenty of natural light. Just off the Main Hall is the boutique hotel inspired Cocktail Lounge with a blush tile bar with maple top and a green velvet banquette for guests to enjoy beverages and appetizers before the reception. The Hearth Patio is 10 South's outdoor space with an incredible old world stone fireplace and café lighting for guests to enjoy their celebration under the stars. Couples and their wedding party will also have access to two large dressing suites on their own private floor. Couples and their guests will have exclusive access to the entire property during their celebration. The venue's onsite Event Managers work closely with each couple to help them have an awesome wedding day. 10 South offers everything you need for your bar including bartenders, an in-house DJ option, and various day-of rental items - all conveniently offered on-site. Everything you need is within close proximity: lodging, late night bars, rehearsal dinner locations, photo opportunity locations, churches, and lots of activities for your guests to explore during your wedding weekend. 10 South was an absolute dream of a venue. Stunning architecture, lots of light, and thoughtful renovation details made this the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was lovely to work with, and though sometimes took a little longer to respond than I would like, they always responded, and always fully answered my questions. Day of the wedding everything involving the venue went off without a hitch, and all the staff were so kind and did a fabulous job working with me and my wedding planner to ensure my vision came to life. I would highly recommend this venue!

From the beginning 10 south has been the most helpful and nicest to work with. They were there for all of my questions and answered them in a timely manner. The day of my wedding was the most relaxed day and the setup of my decor was amazing. Olivia was great with helping me and making sure I was good the entire day. I would 100% recommend this venue!

This venue has been non stop talked about amongst our guest about the beauty of it. Staff was amazing and responsive. They helped make the planning process easy and efficient. The day of the wedding ran incredibly smooth with the help of the staff. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.

We got married at 10 South on 8/04/23 and we are still talking about how incredible the day was (and I know we will keep talking about it for a very long time)! From the moment we walked in the doors at 10 South on our initial tour we new immediately “Yup, this is where we are getting married!” The venue is absolutely gorgeous and it checked every box for us: large outdoor space, option for on-site ceremony, on-site suites to get ready in, and plenty of space for our guests. The aesthetic at 10 South is also exactly what we were looking for with the beautiful brick and industrial, modern features. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. Olivia was great leading up to and on the day of our wedding. She was quick to communicate and on top of everything the day of. I was truly able to relax and enjoy the day stress-free and knew everything would be perfect (which is amazing because I normally am a bit of a worrier)!

The space at 10 South is so beautiful! Our guests could not stop talking about the detail within every room at 10 South. The staff was so fun to work with and very responsive!

I signed on with 10 | South pretty quickly after they took over ownership of the building in Jan 2022, what led me to was talking with Wendy and believing in their vision. After I started working with Stephanie and Meghan they understood my vision to a T and with the onsite help day of with Lindsey every little detail was covered. So many guests commented after how amazing the venue was, it's beautiful, and perfectly staffed. Some things are worth it when it comes to wedding planning and this space is one of them! Thank you to everyone who helped make our wedding so special. 10/10!!

10 South was a place my husband and I chose before it was even fully out of construction, based purely on the belief that the people running it would give us the wedding of our dreams. While there were some difficulties in communication at time, overall they handled everything well, especially the day of which is what mattered to us. On top of that, the facilities were absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments from our guests.

We got married at 10 South on 4/22/23. The staff at 10 South provide excellent communication and check in with you often. The venue was recently remodeled and it is BEAUTIFUL! We had our ceremony and reception there and were able to get ready at the venue as well! They have a huge beautiful bridal suite and huge stylish grooms suit with a fully stocked bar with complementary beverages and snacks in each suite. They allow you to purchase liquor through them and they have it ready for you while you get ready! There is plenty of parking for guests and it is handicap accessible! I really loved that they had several decor items at the venue that you can rent! We rented their beautiful wooden arch and “Better Together” neon sign. It was so nice to not have to lug all of that to and from the venue! They really make it so simple for you by having the tables chairs and linens included in their overall pricing. They also have a beautiful patio that features a giant fireplace that is great for pictures! We are so happy we chose 10 South!!

WOW. JUST WOW.The sight and design of 10 South definitely lure couples in. The exposed brick, gorgeous bridal and groom suites, carefully designed bar, beautifully designed cocktail lounge… I could envision it all before it was officially complete in renovations. Just like I envisioned my detail oriented, beautiful wedding. BUT that’s not what I want to brag about. The team, the care and helpfulness of everyone I spoke to, from the first encounter to the week after my wedding, witnessed helping and was there in front and behind the scenes amazed me. As someone who has spent my life in customer service, their team is such a blessing to experience. Every single person there made us feel special and loved. Lindsey (our venue coordinator), went above and beyond day of. It’s always hard to have kids be apart of such grown up moments with grown up expectations and she handled my toddlers with such grace as they wandered behind bars, in and out of the main hall during the room flip and played with the elevators. I just needed to say thank you again. Thank you for being apart of our day, our moment and our wedding. Most people remind you that “there are disasters on your wedding day but they don’t matter as it’s just one day and not the important part” but they have clearly never seen 10 South execute a wedding before. You made the very first day of my marriage a memory I want to live in forever! It was the perfect beginning to our marriage and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
