Where the blacktop ends and the gravel begins, you can find the 1908 House waiting to help you celebrate your most cherished events. Overlooking the North Goose River, the grounds of 1908 House are serene and calm with vintage charm radiating from every corner. Whether your family is gathering in the Victorian House, cutting a rug in the Hay Loft, or watching the sun set under the Pergola, 1908 House is a perfect venue for any event. Its foundation was laid proudly in 1908 near Hatton, North Dakota. All with the added bonus of natural backdrops and breathtaking sunsets that North Dakota is known for. When you step onto the property, you'll immediately feel the stress melt away. We may be a little biased, but it's our favorite place to be! It is the 1908 House's vision to provide a unique and carefree wedding and event venue for our region. When 1908 House property was found, you could just feel the history and it was decided that the tranquil and breathtaking views needed to be shared. We are a North Dakota family owned and ran business. On your special day, more than likely you'll see our children and relatives out helping ensure your day is perfect. Helping families come together to celebrate new beginnings is our favorite thing to do and we are always honored to be a part of something so special. We love supporting our local region and showcasing all that rural North Dakota has to offer. It's not just the breathtaking views that the country can provide, but the helpfulness, warmth, and small-town charm help to make 1908 House one of a kind. It is sure to leave both you and your guests with a lasting impression! At 1908 House you and your partner can hold an extravagant event for up to 350 guests. You will have the use of the property for the weekend of your celebrations. This will give you plenty of time for setup and cleanup. You and your wedding party will also have plenty of space to get ready in the guest house. The team at the estate can supply decor items and sound equipment. They will offer every little bit of help to get your big day in gear. The team can also set up ceremony seating. All your guests will have to do is sit down and relax. They will also set up tables, chairs, and linens for the reception. Your special day doesn’t have to end there. Overnight accommodations are available on site for up to 16 guests in the house and 2 guests can stay in the bridal suite. We hope you enjoy the 1908 House!
