2400 On The River is a rustic riverfront wedding venue located near Calhoun, GA. Surrounded by the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and overlooking the Coosawattee River, this peaceful retreat offers a beautiful backdrop for your special day. Choose between a variety of indoor and outdoor settings for your ceremony and reception. You could exchange vows under the charming gazebo by the river, or on the riverfront pavilion with an outdoor stone fireplace. More locations are available for your cocktail hour, including the picturesque boxwood gardens, where your guests can sip drinks as they admire the scenery. Your reception dinner can be held in the main lodge, which has a cozy, rustic ambiance your guests are sure to love. Afterward, you may head back out to the riverfront pavilion to watch the breathtaking sunset before enjoying a night of dancing with family and friends. The venue also offers a luxurious get-ready suite where you and your party can prepare for the big day, as well as a catering kitchen. In total, up to 250 guests will be able to join you for your celebration. 2400 On The River welcomes outside vendors, allowing you to customize your special day to your liking. They can provide 15 tables, including one custom farm table, and 150 ceremony chairs for your event. Additional chairs and tables are available for rent, and an event manager will be on-hand to provide support on the day. What's more, the venue can even provide a Rolls Royce with a driver to take you around the property. We couldn't have dreamed of a better venue to spend our special day at. It was absolutely gorgeous and the weather could not have been better in September in Ranger. This is such an eclectic beautiful venue that really spoke to our style as a couple. Beautiful greenery, one of kind architecture, vintage decor, and breathtaking views of the river with amazing sunsets. No matter where you are on the property - every view is spectacular!As the bride, the bridal solarium was absolutely gorgeous and a beautiful space to get ready for such a special day. Having a groomsmen suite with a panoramic view of the venue was another added bonus as well. We exchanged vows at the Gazebo with the amazing views of the lake and it could not have been more dreamy. The lodge for dinner has so much character and really fit our overall style and it has so much history. And those stained glass windows and the doors ARE EVERYTHING!The pavilion was a lovely, massive space for our cocktail hour that showcased the beautiful sunset on the river and also served as our dance floor. Having our first dance under that amazing chandelier was so special!Vickie and her team could not have been more helpful and are truly amazing! She did everything to make our day absolutely PERFECT. She is just so kind and a wonderful person who ALWAYS made me us feel like it was going to be perfect no matter what! AND IT WAS! I cant say enough good things about her!This is HANDS DOWN where you want to get married!! All the vendors included are amazing as well. There are SOOO many different beautiful spaces to take photos at this truly gorgeous venue. Wouldn’t change a thing about it and cant wait to visit on our 1 year anniversary!! There is no better place to get married than at 2400 On the River Venue! It was absolutely breathtaking from the moment we stepped onto the beautiful property to leaving it after our wedding reception. There are so many unique aspects of the venue that makes it feel like such a romantic, magical, and special place. And there are so many beautiful themes that can be photographed to match the style and desires of the wedding couple. But what made our wedding planning process and the actual wedding day a dream was Mrs. Vickie and her team. They made sure to answer every question and fulfill every request with so much kindness, excellence and professionalism. Their attention to all our needs and details really made us feel heard and seen as a bride and groom. They offer so many amazing services that go above and beyond what we expected. It was truly one of the best days of our lives and we own it all to the owner, the wonderful staff and the gorgeous wedding venue. There are no words to fully express the extraordinary experience of the 2400 On the River Venue- it’s definitely something that needs to be experienced first hand! We loved our wedding at 2400 on the River! You definitely won’t be able to find anywhere else with this many different and unique scenery options. They have a greenhouse bridal suite, Greek pillars, English garden, water features (waterfall, fountains, small ponds, and of course the river), and even a rope bridge that leads to a brick pizza oven. Our pictures turned out fantastic! We were originally scheduled to have our wedding on 10/10/2020, but they allowed us to reschedule due to COVID to 10/10/2021 with no penalties. Their staff was great and very easy to work with. We had very little issues when scheduling vendor meetings at the venue.

We had the most beautiful wedding thanks to 2400 on the River! The property is absolutely stunning and is super versatile. We loved the uniqueness of it and they truly do let you make the place your own. It was really nice having the entire property to ourselves for the entire day and with the covered/indoor options there no need to fret about bad weather. Communicating with their team took some follow up at times, but ultimately we had a fantastic wedding and wouldn't change a thing.

2400 is the most unique and eclectic venue! It covers so many acres of land where you have many options to host your different wedding events. The grounds are stunning! Vickie also did a great job at helping to answer my questions and preparing the venue for the day. The Rolls Royce on the property even broke down that morning and they took the initiative to call a mechanic on site to fix it before my ceremony. I can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue!

I would give a million stars to this venue if I could. I fell in love with it just by the pictures and it was even more beautiful in person. There is a perfection to this venue that is truly hard to describe until you are there and feel like you are transported to another world. The venue has multiple locations that are stunning and perfect for any size ceremony. The river pavilion was something out of a movie overlooking a waterfall and river. The indoor area had plenty of space for our guests. Vicky is an incredible person who made every step of the way so easy. Her kindness and willingness to work with us made the process so fun for us. She was attentive to every detail and request that we had on the day of and made sure that everything was in place for us.

I cannot say enough about 2400 on the river. The facility is literally Beautiful and the most unique venue I have seen. My daughter was married there in July and the guests were absolutely stunned. My mother said it best when she said “it’s like Disney magic”she said the lodge is like Gaston’s tavern,the pavilion overlooking the river reminded her of Pocahontas, the bridal suite reminds her of Cinderella‘s carriage, the lake reminded her of little mermaid kiss the girl, and Greek area in hill was Hercules. Needless to say, the amount of options you have for your ceremony and reception is endless. There is ample room to spread out. The grounds are kept lush and beautiful,just an absolute gym located in North Georgia. The staff go above and beyond to help you with any questions and concerns you may have.Stephanie was an absolute pleasure from the first day we met. She so friendly and helpful and gave us wonderful suggestions. When we had to postpone the wedding due to Covid and she was amazing helped us find another date that worked with all our vendors in a flash, made a stressful situation a piece of cake. Vicky and her crew just brought the hustle with a smile helping me navigate where to place tables during set up to the day of the wedding when she was literally the MVP!! I just cannot say enough about this amazing staff the owner has in place, they are as fabulous as the venue! Thank you so much,you made our daughters day the best of her life and we love you for it !The Easterwood family

Joel, Stephanie and Vicky were so accommodating, professional and a delight to work with to make sure our special day was smooth and memorable. They allowed us to bring in our own venders, and worked along side them great. Our guest were blown away at the beauty & uniqueness of 2400 On The River. Highly recommend this venue for the perfect wedding experience.

My niece and her new husband held their wedding ceremony and reception at 2400 on the River on September 8. It was magical. They chose the venue for its natural beauty and the amazing lodge, pavilion and lakeside gazebo the owner has built on the land. It is hard to say more about the unique rustic beauty than what has already been said in so many well-deserved reviews. This is obvious in the pictures you see but is even more breathtaking when you arrive on the property. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, most of it as a professional event planner. I have worked in venues across the country. What stands out the most to me at 2400 on the River is the owner, management and staff. Never have I had a more positive experience. Stephanie, the venue manager was always gracious and flexible with our needs, even when we had to change the wedding date. Joel the owner made sure the grounds were groomed and all our logistical needs were met and Vickie and her crew who were on site for setup, clean up and assistance with everything in between, were absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience and, more importantly, my dear kids had the wedding of their dreams thanks to this amazing team.

This is not my first experience at this spectacular venue, so when our gracious hosts and hostesses chose 2400 On The River as our party location we could not have been more delighted! Guests are astonished at the setting from the moment they pull in, and far in to the night by what all that this venue has to offer. From the overall layout and decor, to every little detail that catches your eye, a night at 2400 On The River is one you and your guests will not forget!

The unique structures are full of antique architecture collected from all over the world, not to mention the massive covered stone and wood patio complete with a rock fireplace over looking the river! 2400 On the River surpassed all of our expectations, creating a truly idyllic setting for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. When they found this beautiful and unique oasis, they knew it would capture the vision they had for their special day. From the English-style gardens to the scenic pond and fountain to the rustic elegance of the \"barn\" to the peaceful river and waterfall next to the covered pavilion--2400 offers an unforgettable setting for any special occasion. Wedding guests were in awe over the myriad architectural features and the pastoral beauty of the grounds. The main building feels like part Bavarian countryside and part English manor--with a touch of Middle Earth ambiance. The owner, Joel, is an incredible hands-on and personable host, who is committed to providing the greatest possible experience. From start to finish, Stephanie assisted with all the necessary logistical planning, and was extremely flexible and accommodating and patient. They ensured that the wedding experience was second to none and were amazing to work with throughout the entire process. The bride and the groom and everyone at the wedding truly had a magical experience that they will never forget!

My husband and I got engaged February 2017. We dragged our feet on planning anything for about a year and a half. On a Saturday in October 2018, feeling defeated thus far, we agreed to go to our local coffee shop, bound and determined that we were going to find a venue that day. With my husband's head buried in his phone and mine in my cappuccino, I thought of my non-negotiables: large property; must have some kind of water feature (waterfall, lake, river, etc.); must allow our dog onsite. This led me to do a Google search for \"wedding venue with water,\" which is how I found 2400 on the River. I thumbed through the website's gallery, showed Chris the photos, and we were cautiously impressed. *Cautiously* impressed because of how many places we had gone to that we were struck with a sense of having been misled.We emailed them right then and there, asking if they were available within the next week for a tour. We left the coffee shop and on the way home, Stephanie had already replied to our inquiry with availability THE NEXT DAY!!We knew what to expect from the pictures, but we never expected to be so blown away! The pictures did not do the venue justice. Stephanie greeted us at the lodge, and she was so informative. Everything had a story behind it.- The owner, a local businessman, had a son who wanted to have his wedding at their family property, so they built the lodge and the deck, eventually leading them to all of the other features. - The bridal suite was originally located at Disney Europe. It was 1 of 6 and they believe it used to be a ticket booth. It's tucked away at the top of the hill, hidden from anyone so the bride and her girls have the utmost privacy as they get ready. It's guarded by Roman statues pointing any intruders away located just in front of a circular drive around a fountain with gorgeous blooms.- The bar in the lodge is an antique salvaged from a saloon in the Old West. It's the only original Old West bar with backing still intact today.- The caterer's kitchen windows were salvaged from an old bank.- Full suits of armored are assembled and on display up in the Groom Suite, where the men have access to a balcony overlooking the lake with seating. - The lamppost behind the gazebo overlooking the lake was from the Champs Elysee in Paris in the early 20th century!After about 2 hours, we said our goodbyes, got in our car, and the first thing we said to each other was, \"This is it.\" We had found our venue. From telling them to send over the contract and the day of the wedding, communication was phenomenal. Every email was answered promptly and thoroughly, and sometimes with follow up questions to make sure we had thought of everything. Stephanie had given me her cell and she would call to make sure we had everything or to follow up on the status of the onsite team and beyond. On our wedding day, a staff member, Tiffany, met with me to help set up the bridal suite and work with any vendors coming onsite as I was getting ready. The girls who did turnover, taking the chairs from the ceremony site to the lodge during cocktail hour, were so sweet and were even helpful to our catering team. Our dog, Dio, was with me getting ready and he ran all over the property, loving every minute on every acre!We would choose 2400 on the River every single time if we had to do this over again. Thank you to everyone at 2400 who had a part in our process! We owe a lot of our happiness in the process to you guys.

An amazing, massive venue with multiple beautiful options for the ceremony and reception locations. The architecture is gorgeous and pristine landscaping. The property has several water features as well as a very large deck overlooking the river. This is really the perfect place and the staff are friendly and very professional. We highly recommend 2400 on the River to anyone, because there are so many beautiful options to suit most any taste.

We got married in May of 2015 and every time I look back on pictures, my heart skips a beat! Everything looked like an absolute dream (straight out of my Pinterest board!) lol The staff was lovely to work with and Denise & Jerry did such an amazing job bringing my vision to life! The florals were OUT OF THIS WORLD and we were able to hire outside catering which I loved! The property, the flowers, the greenhouse- EVERYTHING WAS SO PERFECT. This review is long passed it's due date, but thank you again for making our dream come true! We will forever be thankful and will hold all the memories for years to come! <3

This venue was perfect for a small intimate wedding. Everywhere we needed to be was in close proximity and accessable for handicapped guests. The atsmosphere was very interesting, there were intriguing artifacts at every turn. The fall leaves were at their peek color the weekend we were there and it was stunningly beautiful.

Management company in my opinion not professional in my opinion hidden charges in contract. Read and ask questions if you want to visit venue and plan prior to event. My experience is say one thing and do another. Staff was suppose to dress a specific way but in my opinion wrinkled white shirt and tennis shoes. Sitting in lobby on phone all the time during event. In my opinion Did not respect the idea of a family using an outside vendor and marketed their service to our guests.

This is an extraordinary venue with exceptional service! I have had the pleasure of partaking in several events at 2400 On The River and each event has been one for the books. From the scenery to the service, I have recommended 2400 On The River to friends looking to book a venue for those important life events such as weddings and engagement parties. For someone who lives in the Atlanta area where there is access to a variety of event venues, I believe 2400 On The River by far exceeds any event site in the area.

This is the most beautiful wedding venue that I've ever seen. My daughter's wedding was at 2400 On the River in May, 2013. We loved the flexibility of having the ceremony outside overlooking the lake or inside the venue with the charming and unique decor. Everything at this place is first class and my daughter still talks about what a special place this is to have a wedding. There's gorgeous views of the river, mountains, lake and the English garden. There's plenty of parking for the guests. The owner couldn't have been easier to work with. We would choose this place again.

5 plus stars! This is the most magical venue in Georgia by far. You won't find anything like it around. From the beautifully landscaped grounds to the one-of-a kind architecture and decor- this place is truly special. On top of the fact- thats is brand new which makes it such a find. I have hosted a baby shower, engagement party and a 40th birthday bash here and have been more than pleased each time. It's perfect for weddings- but don't count it out for parties and showers as well. The management is top notch and very professional. This place is a dream!

Our guests were not only impressed, but amazed. We heard the term \"magical\" numerous times. The staff of 2400 On The River not only met our every need, but exceeded any expectations. We loved being able to purchase our own alcohol to be served by 2 awesome bartenders who made hand-crafted cocktails for our guests! Great food and great service! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our daughter got married at 2400 on the River in September 2016. We were fortunate to work with Denise, Jerry and Desiree at Over The Moon Events. Their efforts to accommodate and their tremendous knowledge, in planning our daughter’s memorable big day, was without a doubt priceless. We would highly recommend and encourage anyone seeking the most amazing experience to use 2400 on The River. It nestles in the county on a quaint road that leads you to stunning architecture and endless amenities. You will experience unquestionable breathtaking beauty in the venue. Pictures taken there reveal perfection due to the vast possibilities and areas that provide and capture priceless photography moments. You will experience nothing short of professionalism with the planners, Over The Moon Events. They made themselves available via phone, text or email with any concerns we had, responding in a prompt manner. They provided services before, during and after the event, taking pride in the proficient way each detail was handled. Over The Moon Events worked with our outside vendors in a skilled manner making the day simply spectacular. I cannot express our satisfaction enough and would more than recommend 2400 On The River as a venue of choice and Over The Moon Events as the wedding planner/coordinator to handle any event.

The venue was absolutely perfect. A great mixture of inside and outside. Beautiful views, serveral water features, gardens, and very uniquely decorated. Denise and Jerry are in charge of this facility and they were wonderful to work with. Them, their staff, and all of their recommendations for vendors were great. We don't have a single complaint from our wedding. Everything was perfect.
