Guests are invited to tour 2941 Restaurant’s beautiful private dining rooms, lush grounds with waterfalls and koi ponds, and engage with the city’s top wedding vendors. One will sample hors d'oeuvres created by acclaimed chef Bertrand Chemel and 2941 Restaurant’s Spring & Summer Wedding Showcase will also feature the latest in wedding cake designs by Pastry Chef Nicholas Pine. From fashion and food, to dance floor fun, couples can check off all their wedding day plans in one visit. We were looking for an upscale venue in Northern Virginia that offers outstanding food and service, and can accomodate a relatively small wedding. We did not find a place that can beat 2941. The location is truly breathtaking, our guests are still raving about food, and the service was flawless.\rWe worked with Erika, the event planner for 2941. Erika was incredibly friendly, professional, prompt, responsive, and detail-oriented. All that a bride could want from the event planner at her venue. Erika accommodated every request we had and responded to every question I had promptly.\rIn addition, everybody we had contact with in the restaurant, from the valets, our event planner Erika, the staff who worked on our wedding night and Brian who was the manager on duty for our wedding, provided truly impeccable service. The staff boxed up the meals that were leftover from no-shows without anybody asking them to. They substituted appetizers for a few guests even though they didn't have to. We asked the valets not to take any money from our guests (we gave them a gratuity) and indeed they did not take money from none of our guests. \rWe did not experience any additional charges, and everything in the contract was respected. 2941 really delivered when it counted. It is an expensive venue, but it was worth every penny to us. From NOT being a source of any stress during the planning or the wedding itself, to providing outstanding food and service, and contributing significantly to an incredible wedding, 2941 was priceless to us.

2941 Restaurant is truly the hidden gem of Northern Virginia for an exquisite dining and event experience. The ambiance is absolutely stunning. We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception and enjoyed working with Michelle Marquez, Director of Special Events on all the planning logistics. We held our wedding here in November 2016. Couldn't have been happier with the results - just first-rate quality and service from the beginning of the process 10 months prior, to execution of the event on our wedding day. Michelle was a delight to work with, and the food and cake were amazing!

I recently had my wedding at the 2941 Restaurant and my day was just perfect! I was looking for a place with ambiance that could provide a beautiful backdrop and really set the mood for our guests. This venue was perfect for that. Even with an indoor ceremony, which was plan B due to the rainy/windy weather, we had still had a beautiful back drop of floor to ceiling windows facing the koi pond and waterfall. I thought the indoor wedding would really bring down the whole event, but it didn’t at all.The food was great, they cake the restaurant designed was fantastic (looking and tasting). The staff really paid attention to every detail. Most importantly our guests had a great time. They were blown away by the service and quality. I was told many times, just how memorable and “fancy” of an event this was.Cost was a huge factor for me and I wouldn’t say that 2941 is a budget wedding venue by any means, but we did feel very satisfied with what we got for the money we paid. DC is a hard place to have a budget wedding unless you sacrifice quality and that wasn’t something we were willing to do. Their planner, Michelle, is very upfront about costs, and will lay out all options for you. I would say those watching their budgets should reach out to 2941 for more information, especially if you’re having a smaller wedding.

I recently had my wedding at the 2941 Restaurant and my day was just perfect! I was looking for a place with ambiance that could provide a beautiful backdrop and really set the mood for our guests. This venue was perfect for that. 2941 was amazing. Michelle, the event coordinator, was so nice, helpful, and easy to work with. The setting was beautiful and the service was fantastic. My guests loved the food and everyone had a great time. I did not have a day of coordinator but absolutely did not need one. Everything ran seamlessly at the event. I didn't have to do a thing but enjoy the night. I truly could not have been happier with this venue and I love that my husband and I can go there on anniversaries and remember what an amazing experience we had there on our wedding day.

2941 was amazing. Michelle, the event coordinator, was so nice, helpful, and easy to work with. The setting was beautiful and the service was fantastic. My guests loved the food and everyone had a great time. I did not have a day of coordinator but absolutely did not need one. Everything ran seamlessly at the event. I didn't have to do a thing but enjoy the night. I truly could not have been happier with this venue and I love that my husband and I can go there on anniversaries and remember what an amazing experience we had there on our wedding day.

We had our wedding at 2941 last week and everything was above and beyond our expectation! The combination of the good weather and their beautiful outdoor terrace, the elegant and chic dining area with the view of the lake, and the wonderful staff! We could have not asked for more!\rThe wedding coordinator Michelle was very helpful and worked with us on step by step of the process for every single details. The on-site manager Jeff was extremely nice and helpful. He saved us few times by providing services outside of our contracts. We did some mistake on table arrangement, and the staff were really nice and helped resolve the issue without the guests noticing it. When the wind blown away our flower arrangement on the terrace, They offered us the restaurant flowers to replace them.\rWe have received so many compliments on the food and drinks from our guests. We wanted a nice outdoor view plus elegant reception with good food and 2941 has it all. In addition, the location is very close to the city and there is a nice Marriott hotel across the street for the out of town guests.

Michelle was a pleasure to work with; she accommodated our need for gluten-free menus as well as some of our last minute changes and requests. Most importantly, the food was fabulous - many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We look forward to returning to 2941 Restaurant for anniversary dinners in the future!

2941 Restaurant was the first venue we looked at in Virginia. We were sold instantly. If you want an intimate, yet magnificent wedding, this may be the venue for you. The setting is romantic and scenic; the price point is reasonable for the quality; and the food is, of course, top-notch. (This was a big deal to us because we are foodies.) 2941 is highly experienced at handling events. On our wedding day, the event flow was seamless. Our guests were blown away by the venue, the food, and the service.\r\rOur only problem with 2941 is that they have VERY strict rules for events. For example, we were not permitted access to our space until 4 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. wedding. 2941 charges an additional fee if you do not use one of their \"preferred vendors.\" We felt that their options were limited and decided it was worth it to us to incur the extra expense. They also require all vendors be insured (even florists, which surprised us). Unfortunately, this was only mentioned in the fine print of the contract and we missed it. One week before our wedding, 2941 told us that they needed documentation of her insurance or else we would be liable if there were any damages. This put us into a panic because our florist was not insured.\r\rThat being said, we are on cloud nine about our wedding... we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful, romantic, and delicious way to start our marriage. We are elated with our choice of venue. As long as you review their policies carefully and feel comfortable with them... I'd say go for it!!! :)

The restaurant was gorgeous, the food was great, & almost everything went exactly according to plan. A few small details got lost in the shuffle, but nothing anyone else noticed. The one hitch I did have was after I had booked & put down a deposit based on the corporate menu (with a waived site fee), the event planner then sent me the $17/person more expensive \"wedding menu.\" The food was more ornate/fancy, but not in my budget! When I wrote back, she sent me the correct menus with a note apologizing & saying that the menus were new & they've found that most brides prefer them. Within a month of the wedding, the event planner Michelle was really good about working with me to fit my budget and add small touches to get up to my contractually obligated food budget. Overall, if I were going to have a big wedding again, I would book them again. The pictures are fabulous & the food was awesome.

The venue is beautiful and the food is great. However, the event staff is just awful. Just weeks before our wedding serious problems arose with \"surprise\" charges. Additionally, they changed the rules mid-way through the process in a way that clearly benefited them. They were unapologetic and tried to blame us for their errors. Their poor customer service can best be exemplified by their apparent belief that the customer is always wrong.\r\rIt got so bad that I broke down at work and had to explain what was happening to a few of my co-workers. After hearing what we had been put through it was promptly suggested that we consider seeking legal action against the restaurant. Wedding planning should never come to this.\r\rSave yourself the trouble and avoid 2941 at all costs. At least until they overhaul the event staff.
