3 West Club is a wedding venue and hotel located in New York, NY. Situated amidst the splendor of Rockefeller Center and only minutes from Radio Music Hall, this historic mansion invites couples to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Featuring spacious event rooms and an exquisite rooftop terrace, this beautiful venue has plenty to delight and inspire.
The history of 3 West Club is entwined with that of the famous Rockefeller Center. The site on which the modern Center sits was chosen, in 1926, to be the new home of the Metropolitan Opera. The project proved to be too expensive for the Met to fund, however, and John D. Rockefeller Jr. was persuaded to contribute his support. When plans for the new opera house were abandoned in 1929, Rockefeller entered into negotiations to build a mass media complex on the site. The new plans included facilities for television, music, radio, and theater. Construction on the Center began in 1931; over the course of the following decades, the project grew in scope and scale. Rockefeller Center was declared a New York City landmark in 1985 and a National Historic Landmark in 1987. The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The modern 3 West Club is renowned for its blend of elegance and comfort. The venue boasts a number of exquisite event spaces. Each has its own distinctive style. The majestic Grand Ballroom is the venueās largest facility. Featuring crystal chandeliers of Austrian design and accessed by a breathtaking marble staircase, the Grand Ballroom is a perfect setting for your wedding celebration. The Grand Salon is another truly delightful space. Two fireplaces, set on opposite ends of the room, are topped with beautiful marble mantelpieces. Two large mirrors, placed above each fireplace, draw the viewerās attention to the roomās chandeliers and add a wonderful sense of depth to the room. The Lounge is a lovely, welcoming place. Featuring sumptuous carpets and a tinkling baby grand piano, it is an ideal spot for more intimate gatherings. The Solariumās glass wall and large outdoor terrace present a stunning view of the city and make it a favorite for dinners and receptions.
3 West Club offers couples wedding packages with different menus and options. Packages include complimentary ceremony rehearsal space, preferred guest hotel room rates for wedding guests, and private menu tasting and consultation with the venueās executive chef. Wedding packages also include the assistance of a wedding coordinator and a maĆ®tre dā to ensure that every aspect of your day runs smoothly and according to your wishes.
3 West Club was the absolute perfect wedding venue, we could not be happier with our experience. The venue itself is beautiful, especially near the holiday season and really embodies the āold New Yorkā feel. The people who work at 3 West Club are all incredible and extremely nice, friendly and patient. Tony at the front desk greeted all our guests with kindness and helped make their experience at the venue and their hotel rooms easy for all the out of town guests. Rachel, the venue coordinator was extremely patient with us with all our questions and helped keep things organized and helped set up the space perfectly. The staff who worked the wedding were extremely professional and made our guests feel special. Also, a special thank you to Angela who made sure the bride and groom was comfortable, fed and hydrated the entire wedding. Every room of this venue seems to have its own story and having our wedding here made us feel like we were part of history. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the space was, the convenience of the location and the beauty of its surroundings, including the incredible view of St. Patrickās cathedral. My photographers and videographer also loved the space for the amount of photo opportunities. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone and I cannot wait to come back every anniversary and stay at the hotel. Reviewed on 30-12-2023

Audrey Littlefield(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2022 All around top notch venue. From start to finish, 3 West was accommodating, affordable, approachable, and overall a joy to work with. Marc deserves a special shout out, as he bent over backwards to make our day perfect. We had a total of 125 guests. The solarium was a wonderful atmosphere for the cocktail hour, with outdoor views of Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral, and the retractable awning allowing for inclement weather. The ballroom was beautiful, and was set up to accommodate our guest count as well as an 8-piece band (although we did remove 2 smaller tables when the dance floor opened up after dinner). There were additional rooms for getting ready that had a comfortable lounge/mansion feel. The staff worked tirelessly all night. Cannot say enough about all of it! 10/10 Reviewed on 24-11-2022

Meghan (and Victoria) was very quick to respond, flexible, transparent. They definitely made our planning process very smooth. The venue had a very classic NY glamour that just wowed us on our first visit and wowed every single guest. We had both the cocktail hour, ceremony and reception in the hotel. The cocktail hour was in the solarium that had a great view of St Patrickās Cathedral and the light show of Saks Fifth Ave. The grand salon was the perfect size for our 50 person wedding: just 5 tables a generous sized dance floor, even several buffet tables scattered in the room for the ceremony and reception. All the food was so delicious, we had a hard time choosing our final menu. All our guests couldnāt stop going for seconds since we did a buffet. The 9th floor solarium and its stunning view of St. Patrickās was what sold me on the venue (if youāre going to have a wedding in NYC, why not lean into seeing the city?), but I also appreciated that it was the only venue I came across that was transparent about its packages and pricing. Debbie & Erik G(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-09-2021 3 West Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. We found the venue just 3 months ahead of our wedding date, so the planning was fast and furious. Our wedding coordinator Victoria was truly a fantastic collaborator. She was always very positive and cheerful in our nearly daily back and forth communications and answered all of our questions, large and small, in a very detailed and organized fashion. She provided us with ample of good advice and is extremely helpful. When we went in for our tasting, it is apparent that we picked the best venue! The entire staff is detail oriented, even putting up an event sign in the lobby that it was our tasting that day. The food was all delicious and the chef presented everything personally at the tasting and showed his passion for making fine cuisine. On the day of our wedding, Victoria and the head of staff services were there to ensure everything was going smoothly and that all our needs were taken care of. The server staff was beautifully efficient and courteous, operating quietly in the background allowing guests to enjoy themselves. And the bartenders were very friendly and provided good service. We held our cocktail hour at the Lounge, which has a great old New York feel, and also held a Chinese tea ceremony there. Our reception of about 50 people fit comfortably in the Solarium giving our guests access to great views of the cathedral all evening from the large balcony area. We also reserved the Library and an adjoining room for the brideās costume changes and āgetting readyā photos with our photographer. 3 West Club truly did an immaculate job in making our day perfect. Frankly, perfect is an understatement! We went to another wedding 2 weeks after ours and it was even more apparent how lucky we were to have picked 3 West Club for our wedding. The service, friendliness of the staff, attention to details provided by 3 West Club is TOP notch! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is and our guests were just impressed with the service and how delicious the food was. Throughout the day, everything happens so seamlessly - thoughtful collaboration with us on the overall plan, i.e., timing when food would be served (for our guests and vendors), floor plan for the reception and cocktail hour - what works well with our decorations, how it should be organized to give our guests a roomy feel, enough space for our first dance, etc. I could go on and on describing how MARVELOUS 3 West Club is. We couldnāt ask for a better venue and staff to work with. Victoria and 3 West Club staff, THANK YOU so very much for making our celebration such a perfect day. Yeonsoo Kim(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2021 I had my wedding in late May 2021 and I can't appreciate enough for everything that 3 West club had offered. My original wedding date was June 2020 and due to the pandemic, I had to postpone the wedding 2 times. Every time I had to postpone the wedding, 3 West club was very easy to work with and did not ask for extra fee or increased rate. I had to cancel my rehearsal dinner due to family's traveling issue, they accepted my request to transfer the deposit to their hotel room credit. How nice of them. Also, Victoria was the most amazing venue coordinator at 3 West. She organized the whole wedding and performed as middle person with all of the vendors. She guided me through each steps and gave me peace of mind in planning the wedding. (it can get REALLY stressful) My husband and I were so close to canceling the wedding few times but we were so glad we didn't. 3 West staffs were the main reason we decided to push through our plan since they were so helpful and clear about the most updated pandemic guidelines. After the wedding, all of my guests complimented how beautiful the wedding was (guests especially loved the Solarium Terrace with St. Patrick's church view during cocktail hour) and how great the food was. (Thank you, Gary!) A lot of guests asked how we found 3 West club and they said they really enjoyed our wedding celebration. We booked 3 floors for the wedding: Grand Salon for ceremony, Solarium Terrace for cocktail hour, and Grand Ballroom for reception. We were able to fit 70 guests with plenty of rooms and my husband & I were granted access to different floors such as Lincoln room & Library for photoshoots. Lauren was a delight to work with from beginning to end. She was very attentive and always made sure to keep us posted on our contract, food and promptly answered any questions we might have. The food was top notch and the portions were very generous. The chef was very mindful of dietary restrictions; I have a peanut allergy and my sister is vegan. Mia F(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2017 My husband and I would recommend 3 west club for your wedding if you're looking for an elegant, unique, and classic NYC wedding that is also affordable. 3WC offers the true NYC experience with a lot of personalization and great service. We used the lounge for cocktail hour and grand ballroom for the reception at our September 2017 wedding. The food from cocktail hour through the 4 courses of dinner was amazing. Our guests raved about the food during the wedding and after. We were quite sure that the food would be great based on reviews and then after going to our tastings to select the menu a few months before. During the early planning stages we knew our top 3 priorities were food/drinks, music, and guest/our experience. Our experience was great with the 3WC. Ryan Furio the sales manager is great at his job, organized, and prompt to respond with any questions or concerns. We are both busy, working people and the experience of wedding planning was made easier by Ryan from start to finish as he's experienced and eliminates a lot of the fuss that can go along with wedding planning. He worked with us and was able to personalize aspects of the wedding. For example, our ceremony was nearby and there was 1.5 hours between that and the cocktail hour. He set up a space with apple cider to hold guests before the official start of the wedding. He also worked with us to get the menu just the way we envisioned it (raw bar, certain brands of alcohol, an extra dinner course, initiating contact with a cake baker). During the evening, Ryanās team was well organized and executed the setup and service flawlessly. The ballroom was able to hold a 6 piece band comfortably. Overall, our experience and the guests' experience were positive and we thank Ryan and his team for truly being great to work with and delivering on a great final product, our wedding! Located in Midtown Manhattan it is in the heart of the city, with views overlooking Radio City Music Hall, St Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Plaza. My husband and I chose this space after seeing it in person one time and I have to say we definitely made the right choice. Although the pictures are gorgeous, they do not do it justice. Ryan the events and catering coordinator was so nice and also very helpful. He responded to our questions quickly and always had helpful suggestions to make our wedding the best it could be. The food was amazing. We both ate the steak and it was so tender and amazing. Our guests had nothing but compliments and great reviews about the appetizers served during the cocktail hour (wish we could have tried them). A native New Yorker, my British husband and all of our international guests (from 9 countries!) were WOWED by the beauty and elegance of the 3 West Club. The venue is both impressive and intimate, and the many rooms you can use add variety and flexibility for use. The views from the terrace overlooking St Patrick's and Radio City Music Hall are iconic, and gave the wow factor and picture postcard backdrop to our wedding - impressing even my family from New York who were seeing the city from a different perspective. The location is also perfect for getting amazing pre- and post-ceremony shots, with its proximity to Rock Centre, Top of the Rock, Radio City, 5th Avenue and Central Park. The classic New York and quintessential styling provide many opportunities for interior shots as well, with the views from the terrace being especially photogenic. The many rooms you can use for each part of the day also offered great flexibility and variety for the day, and we made great use of all of them, having welcome cocktails in the lounge, the ceremony in the Grand Salon, the cocktail party in the Solarium and Terrace, and the reception in the Grand Ballroom With their high ceilings and crystal chandeliers, it was a beautifully timeless place for our special day. It was also spacious enough for our 110 guests, 8 piece band and photo booth.Ryan was incredible throughout, and made planning every detail easy and was the picture of patience with my very detailed plans. All of this was made even more impressive for being pulled off with an ocean between us! But in the end, everything came off practically perfectly, and he was great with special requests and last minute changes - including adding a place setting for an extra guests when my friend turned up with a boyfriend I didn't know she had! The feedback on the day and since has been phenomenal, about everything from the location, the venue and especially the food which was delicious and plentiful. They also catered well for our vegetarian guests, especially important as my new mother-in-law does not eat meat and she was very pleased with her meal.Ryan was also great with recommendations for other vendors and flexible with tastings and site visits to accommodate my few and far between visits to NYC from London for planning, which was great and very helpful. All in all, the day was perfect and we would highly recommend the 3 West Club for an amazingly beautiful, well-run and impressive wedding venue. We could not have found a better venue for what we had in mind, as far as size (we had a little under 100 guests) and vibe (classic, retro, intimate). From the very beginning (initial venue tour) to the very end (last minute chaos) of our wedding planning, Ryan the venue manager was such a pleasure to work with. On the day of, the staff was very attentive, making sure that everything was just right. Our outside vendors were also very impressed with how accommodating and flexible they were, making their jobs much easier that day. Pros:-Hubs and I wanted an outdoor wedding but didn't know what the weather would bring. The solarium terrace was the perfect indoor/outdoor compromise. This worked out well for us. -Food was excellent. We had a lot of compliments from the guests about the food!-Everyone here was wonderful to work with, and they did their best to fulfill any special requests (within reason, of course)-A TON of great spots inside the venue for wedding photos. Our photographer came up with a lot of cool ideas with the lighting, windowpanes, chandeliers, etc. Great detail in this very well-maintained space. -The venue has a traditional, classic vibe without being a \"wedding factory\" if you know what I mean. Cons: can't think of any...except, you can't have a ginormous wedding here. Definitely not the kind of place you want to host 300 guests! Which is not what we wanted anyway. Robin T(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-05-2017 We looked at close to a dozen wedding venues in Manhattan and along the Hudson before choosing 3 West (the last place we looked at). What really set it apart right from the beginning was the location, space, and value, but what I came to appreciate even more as the wedding planning went on was the stellar service delivered by Ryan Furio, the sales manager. For us, the location was a no-brainer. I wanted to do our first look in Central Park, and we had many friends coming in for the day on MetroNorth, so the fact that this was within walking distance of the Park and Grand Central made it ideal (not to mention photo ops with St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center). Another unique element about 3 West was the many beautiful spaces contained within the same building. We had our ceremony on-site, so we were able to fully utilize the various rooms in the club for each part of the wedding day - Solarium for the invitation, the Grand Salon for the ceremony, the Lounge for cocktail hour and the Grand Ballroom for reception dinner. Guests couldn't stop telling me how gorgeous and luxurious the venue was, and how delicious the food was. Some of them said they were full after the cocktail hour, but had to make room for the amazing entrees and Viennese dessert table. I don't think it's possible to find better value in all of Manhattan. Last but not least, Ryan really made this experience unforgettable. He was super accommodating when we had to look at the venue multiple times before committing because my husband couldn't come the first time with me. When I wasn't entirely happy with the suggested floor plan, Ryan not only took the trouble to draw up an alternative plan for me, but even set up the tables so I could preview the new floor plan in person. We were made a little nervous by some personnel changes since the time we had initially booked the venue, but Ryan proved extremely easy to work with, very amenable to suggestions and patient when we kept changing our minds on how we wanted the ballroom to be set up. As for the day itself, we used the Grand Salon for the ceremony, the Lounge for our cocktail hour and Grand Ballroom for our reception. Each room was set up the night before and looked great. The food, much of which we had sampled back in August, was all fantastic and our guests couldn't stop telling us how wonderful everything was - kudos to Chef Gary!. We admittedly didn't get to try everything (particularly at the cocktail hour) during our wedding, but we very much enjoyed the sampling of \"leftovers\" we were sent home with (I want more of the risotto!). The Viennese dessert station looked amazing and the passed sorbet were delicious. Though Ryan indicated that they typically do sit-down dinners, we chose a buffet-style meal (without assigned seating) and it worked great and made the whole event less formal and encouraged guests to mingle. Overall, I have to say what made our wedding go off without a hitch was that we had planned out the day's schedule with Ryan ahead of time and he and his staff did an amazing job of keeping to the plan, including coordinating with our band so that the various planned moments in the reception timed out perfectly with when the buffet and (later) dessert were ready. Lastly, I would mention that we are a gay couple and we had some minor hesitation about holding our wedding at the home of the Women's National Republican Club. We needn't have. If your looking for a beautiful venue for a city wedding this is the place for you. 3 West Club had so many beautiful rooms to host our events. The girls & guys had beautiful rooms to do hair and makeup, cocktail hour in the library and the ballroom were magnificent ! After all this was a fifth avenue mansion, so it has the feel of a cozy yet grand home. The staff & service was 5 star, our every need was met. My daughters wedding on 11/14/15 was one to remember! Dana Shulman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2015 My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with the 3 West Club leading up to our wedding as well as the actual night.\r\rThe venue itself is truly something special. Being a landmark building it has so many beautiful touches that you don't see anywhere else. We held out cocktail hour in the Lounge which was such a fun space for our guests to room around and we used the Grand Ballroom for our reception. The ceiling height alone is something to drool over and makes the space feel so large and spacious. \r\rTheir staff is extremely professional and were very accommodating in a number of the smaller details that we needed taken care of like making sure their piano was tuned for cocktail hour. Our wedding coordinator Hina Dar had started just a few short weeks before our wedding but it was like she was there the entire time with us. She was so patient with me as I asked all of my questions and made sure I felt no stress the day of and during the wedding which was so important for me. As I'm a total type A personality I wanted to take control and make sure everything was going as planned and she made me feel like I could take a back seat and just enjoy myself.\r\rTheir food is hands down amazing. We got to meet Chef Gary during our food tasting which was also great because he wasn't off hidden in the kitchen. Meeting the chef and hearing how he likes to prepare things and having him understand what we were looking for was so great. He also was able to accommodate our gluten-free guests which was important to us as we didn't want anyone to feel like their meal was less important or their options were limited.\r\rThe waitstaff during the meal was great. Everything was brought out on time and they were extremely attention to our guests and especially to me and my husband. Both the banquet manager and her captain ensured everything was smooth all night.\r\rIf you're a bride looking for the perfect NYC venue, the service, quality and value should all lead you to 3 West Club. We also received many compliments on the food during the cocktail hour and reception, not only because it was delicious, but because the portions were very generous. The bartenders and waitstaff were all courteous, professional, and personable, and Caroline was very patient and helpful with all my millions of questions. From the very beginning Veronica was insightful, flexible, and very honest. She all but removed all of stress of planning a wedding and coordinated every aspect of our big day and helped with some of our DIY setups. I can not say enough about the wait staff during the reception. They made our guests feel as though they were dining in a 5 star restaurant.\rBartender service was also very good. The one wish would be to offer a little more post reception support and coordination.\rDecor:\rThe 3 West Club can be characterized by large spaces in a historic New York building that says style, elegance, and sophistication from the moment you walk in the door. With the use of 5 to 6 different rooms throughout the building we enjoyed the authenticity of each and our guests loved the Chandeliers in the separate Ceremony and Reception spaces. Best of all the wall of windows and the views from the 9th floor Solarium was definitely the most used background for selfies and photos during the cocktail hour.\rQuality: Given the many benefits of the club, We expected a cost 2x what we paid for a venue of this quality. The power rooms, the table and chairs, and of course the quality of service were above and beyond. Of course we understand that feeding 70+ people at once is not easy for anyone and most reports suggested that the food during the cocktail hour and reception was good for most but not 4 star quality level for all. \rValue: In New York City, there may not be better value in the city. I would say that The 3 West Club is hidden gem. Our guests raved about their overall experience, they loved the classic style, the service, and the location in the heart of the city. Brenda McCoy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-10-2014 My now husband (YaY!) and I fell in love with 3 West when we walked in the door. It is a charming, classic, beautifully decorated hidden gem in midtown Manhatten. Just when we thought things couldn't get better, we met Veronica Liskiewicz, the Social Catering Manager. Veronica gave us a tour of the club, provided us with a menu, arranged for a tasting once we had tentatively decided on our choices and answered so many questions in person, by phone and via e-mail. She became my wedding planner - not just my reception planner - and was always friendly, full of great advice, patient and caring. Veronica was with us literally from start to finish - even during the reception, she checked in a couple of times to see if there was anything we wanted or needed. Everything was pure perfection - thanks to the friendly, caring and capable staff.\r\r Think of the premises as a large brownstone, centrally located in midtown Manhattan right off Fifth Avenue. The Club, decorated with classic old world charm, includes a number of rooms of varying sizes, such as The Library and The Solarium (with a huge terrace) and spectacular views of St. Patrick's and Rockefeller Center. One may check their coat upon entering the building (no tips please) and then proceed to a warm and inviting reception area. The Club also has a number of rooms available at a very reasonable rate for out of town guests! The decor is in great shape and every room and hallway is spotless.\r\r Now for the food. As self confessed foodies, we had limited expectations - one rarely hears the term exquisite used to describe food served at a reception. We had the opportunity to enjoy our selections at the tasting prior to the wedding and to meet the chef. Suffice it to say that this would be my \"go to\" restaurant in this neighborhood - if only it were a restaurant! The meal was delicious and was just as wonderful if not better when served to a large group of people - no small fete.\r\rAs to the all important bottom line, I have had a fair amount of experience planning events and working with caterers. Never has the location, the service, the management, the food come together so perfectly O.K., that is what you want, right? Well, let me add this one comment, never has an event such as this been so reasonable. At this point. I will take the opportunity to rant at the industry a little. I am always stunned at the size of the bill for alcohol consumed and frequently find myself negotiating the price down - something I really dislike having to do. The final invoice from 3 West was on target - and a reflection of their professionalism and courtesy.\r\rIn summary, I am already working on plans for our first wedding anniversary - and guess where I want it to be held? I have already been in touch with the company who made our wedding cake (recommended by Veronica - people went back for seconds and thirds, there is no mroe left!) and I can't wait! \r\rThank you Veronica and everyone at 3 West: You took us into your capable hands and our wedding day was so much more than we ever could have imagined!\r\r Reviewed on 31-10-2014

The venue itself is elegant in an old-fashioned New York sort of way. The choice of spaces was perfect; we had our ceremony in the Salon, the cocktail hour in the Solarium (with stunning views of Radio City and St. Patrick's Cathedral), and dinner/dance in the Grand Ballroom. The space worked perfectly for our wedding (around 100 guests). And the service! Working with Veronica was an absolute delight. She was great, and she and her team were very attentive and made sure that the whole evening went incredibly smoothly. It's a hidden gem near Rockefeller Center, and when we first saw it we thought it would be out of our price range, but it turned out to be one of the least expensive places in the city--and our favorite! Veronica is amazing--she was so helpful throughout the whole process and served as our day-of coordinator, and everything ran so smoothly. Seriously, I was shocked at how perfect everything was and how stressed free we were. We had about 110 guests and had our ceremony in the Grand Salon, then moved to the Lounge for cocktail hour and had dinner and dancing in the Grand Ballroom (which fit everyone comfortably, even when the whole crowd was on the dance floor). The club also allowed us to do our first look and family portraits in the Solarium, which has a balcony overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral. It made for some beautiful shots. Robert Matunas(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-12-2013 My wife and I were recently married and had our reception at the 3 West Club. First of all, our experience with the catering manager at the club (Veronica) was wonderful. She was extremely responsive to all of our various phone calls and emails (there were a lot!), was well organized, and did an excellent job of customizing our wedding package to suit our particular tastes. This even included \"tweaking\" the open bar offerings to have some craft beers available (instead of the usual Bud/Bud Lite). The venue itself was wonderful. We had our cocktail hour in the lounge, which is basically a giant living room. It was a beautiful, intimate space that also worked very well to showcase our Chinese tea ceremony. Since my wife had to change into her Chinese dress for the tea ceremony, she was graciously allowed the use of the library as a personal changing room. This was a very nice touch and greatly helped the logistics of our reception itinerary. Our reception was held in the grand ballroom, which had ample space for our guests (~95 total) and our 5-piece band. The food was one of the highlights of the whole affair. When my wife and I went to taste the food and choose which items would be offered at the reception, we were stunned by the quality of the food. Naturally, we thought that there was no way the quality of the food would be as good when they were serving 95 people on the actual day of our wedding, but we were pleasantly surprised - the food was equally superb on our wedding day. As a matter of fact, all of our guests raved about the food, and many of them said that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! The wait staff at the reception was also very courteous and attentive to both our guests and to my wife and I. The price of the wedding packages are excellent, particularly when you consider the great service and amazing food quality. All in all, Veronica and the 3 West Club made our wedding reception a *huge* success. Highly recommended! Reviewed on 18-03-2014

I saw lots of great raw spaces as well ā but honestly didnāt have the time to coordinate all the rentals it would take to fill the space. When I walked into the Grand Ballroom at 3 West Clubā¦I literally cried. I knew this was the place. \r3 West Club is truly a private club, and not a wedding factory. We had our ceremony in the Grand Salon where there are chandeliers for days. Our cocktail hour was held in the Solarium where our guests were able to mingle both inside and outside for cocktails and small bites. I must noteā¦there was even drizzle outside this night and the staff rolled out the overhang (which was adorable and did not disrupt the view) and promptly rolled it back in once the drizzle cleared. \rOur reception was held in the Grand Ballroom and the name only begins to do justice for this room. The chandeliers are to die for and our DJ was seated on the balcony overlooking the room which everyone seemed to think was really awesome. Walking into our reception you were given a full view of a beautifully lit / decorated room without the obstruction of a DJ or band front and center.\rThe service at the club was unprecedented. Our coordinator Veronica was incredible. She always answered my emails within an hour or two and was a key point person for all our planning. She not only knew the layout of what needed to happen at the club, but she was an amazing resource for all my general wedding questions as wellā¦.trust me there were a lot of questions. She was always honest and reasonable with us ā she 100% understands the industry and did everything she could to guide us in the right direction. \rDuring the entire night I did not have to worry about 1 single thing. Everything was taken care of without me having to manage anything. Things were moved seamlessly from one room to another. Tables were set up beautifully without me having to give direction and our guests were taken care of at every single moment. All the staff was smiling and genuinely seemed happy to help everyone. I must also noteā¦.we had a few elderly guests who were particularly looked after, which we didnāt even request. The wait staff was literally standing feet away while some of our older guests had dinner and drinks to make sure they did not have to do a single thing. Plates were moved for them once they finished, glasses were always filled etc. etc. It was something you would never think to ask someone to doā¦but something that did not go unnoticed by my family and our guests.\r\rThe food was DIVINE. I must make a BIG point and say that my mother and I both have severe food allergies. I am celiac, my mother is also celiac with allergies to wines and vinegars and we had a small boy at the wedding with a nut allergy. The chef attended our tasting and immediately offered creative solutions to some of the things we liked on the menu. He even suggested things that were not on the menu that were later added to our cocktail hour. Everyone with an allergy was noted on a seating chart and we didnāt even have to remind anyone of the allergy. The food was perfect and served without incident. All the guests continued to say how amazing the food was. Most guests said it was the best meal they had eaten during their trip to NYC. I cannot even explain how incredible it was that this chef made out lives so easy. I did not have to worry about anything, hats off to the chef.\r Reviewed on 13-10-2013

BrettandRobin (groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-08-2014 This month we held our wedding at the 3 West Club, and had a wonderful, entirely positive experience there! We offer our strongest recommendation for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue in New York City that has delicious food, an energetic and professional staff and great atmosphere for a very reasonable price. The 3 West Club is located in a classic, old-school Manhattan building; our cocktail hour was in their cozy wood-paneled library space, and the ceremony and reception in the ballroom, which has plenty of grandeur but is perfectly scaled for a crowd of 80-100; it felt intimate but grand at the same time. The food is genuinely delicious, with lots of variety in the menu and it tasted as good when served to our entire crowd as it did at our tasting. The package we purchased included an open bar that never ran out of anything--and we had a drinking crowd. All of the evening's staff was friendly and on point. We can't say enough about Veronica, their event coordinator; she was extremely organized and enthusiastic throughout the entire process, and handled everything that came up throughout the event with a smile, and never missed a beat. My entire out-of-town family stayed in the Club's guest rooms for the weekend, and we booked their Master Suite for the day and night of the wedding, which made an ideal base of operations while we were preparing. The rooms are small but nice, and Sigfry, who handled the booking and the front desk throughout, was unfailingly friendly and very helpful, including with a number of specific requests that come with a big family of many ages and needs. (one note; the building that the Club is located in is the home of the National Republic Women's Club, so there are lots of portraits of Republican icons throughout the space; it wasn't an issue at all, the NRWC has nothing to do with 3 West and we certainly had an \"alternative\" crowd. Frankly, we all just got a kitschy kick out of it.) The 3 West Club defies the conventional wisdom that a great, full-service wedding venue can't be found in Manhattan at a reasonable price, because we did. Reviewed on 20-08-2013

We had our whole wedding here in the Grand Salon, Solarium and Ballroom. We checked out two other similarly-priced venues in Manhattan, and we are really glad we picked this one. One of the major reasons for this is Veronica (we worked with Kristina earlier in the process, who is also great). Veronica made everything so easy and seamless for us. She was very responsive and understanding of my million (dumb) questions, and took care of all the small details, like putting out our place cards, menus, etc. as well as coordinating with our vendors. She is absolutely fantastic and was super on top of things the day-of as well, and even got our ceremony started on time!\r\rAs I said, the spaces are all beautiful. We were especially excited to use the terrace during the cocktail hour. We had 100 guests for a seated dinner, and I thought it was a perfect size. \r\rSide note on the guest rooms: we had originally planned to use the guestrooms here but they rooms are a bit old and dated, and this is not a full-service hotel, so the restaurant is closed on weekends and there's no bar or lobby to hang out in. When we came across 3 West Club, we knew that this was the perfect place. 3 West Club is anything but the typical wedding hall. First off the location of Rockefeller Center is great! We got married in St. Patricks Cathedral and 3 West was just across the street. Guests really enjoyed not having to drive (you receive discounted parking). The decor of the venue has an old NY style feel which is both original and classy. Guests really enjoyed our cocktail hour and loved the food. Although we had 130 guests the whole wedding felt very intimate. Our reception took place in the grand ballroom which looked beautiful with our lit up centerpieces. The food was not your typical catering hall food. We had a choice of fish or steak and our guests raved about both. Very good quality food, the chief is great. We worked with Kristina, who was professional, organized and a gem to work with. I lost track of time for most of the night, but was able to rely on Kristina to make sure that everything was running smoothly. Especially when you are paying vendors by the hour, you want to make sure you are on schedule, which Kristina did very well. Our guests stayed at the hotel as well. We were looking at a number of historic mansions in the city and 3WC best fit our needs and budget. If you are looking for a wedding venue, the event manager is a key component to a well-organized wedding. \r3WC is a beautiful classic venue. They have rooms (Lincoln Room and Library) for the bridal party to get ready. They have 2 options for a cocktail reception in the Solarium (9th floor - where you can get a great view of the St. Patrick's Cathedral and Radio City in the backdrop) or the Coolidge Library. The Grand Salon was an elegant room for the Ceremony - good size for 100 person party. The Grand Ballroom was a great high ceiling room for a wedding party of 100 ppl. The food (especially the hors d'oeuvres) was delicious and the portions were generous. They provide a dedicated server for the bride/groom during the cocktail hour and make sure they are served first during dinner.\rWe liked how the venue only arranges 1 wedding per day so the bridal party can arrive early in the afternoon and take their time helping to set-up and take photos ahead of guest arrival. It's the best, hands down, I loved everything about it. The bartender, the waiters, Kristina, the location, just everything was outstanding and beyond anything I ever imaged. Thank you Kristina, Thank you 3 West Club for making me look like a genius bride with great taste!! LOVE YOU!!! Reviewed on 22-10-2011
Jen Schoch(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2011 3 West Club was elegant, beautiful, and perfect in every way for our wedding. We had about 80 guests and Kristina was (as everyone else has said) a dream to work with. She was thorough, calm, and put me totally at ease for our big day. Everyone has said what a wonderful Club we chose and we could not have been happier. My grandparents were able to stay in a hotel room at the club, which made the wedding day even more enjoyable for them, and I was able to use a ballroom to get ready with my bridesmaids! I can't wait to use 3 West Club again for an anniversary party! Reviewed on 08-10-2011
Heidi Becker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-01-2011 The 3 West Club was not only the best place for all our needs but the coordinator Kristina was the most professional and detail oriented person I have ever worked with. She is keen on details and also has the most wonderful personality. The food was amazing and generous and the service was top notch. My wedding was very small 45 people but we were treated with the same respect as if we had 145 people. I can't say enough good things about the 3 West club. Reviewed on 01-02-2011
Alyce Hothem(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-12-2010 We came across 3 West Club online and fell in love with the pictures of the Solarium, overlooking St. Patrick's. The real thing lived up to the pictures! Kristina, our coordinator, was great, and the venue is a real value by NYC standards. \rOur only complaints: it was inoordinately hot in the building, so I am flushed in most of our ceremony pictures. Also, my maiden name was misspelled on the sign board in the lobby.\rOverall, we were thrilled with our choice! Reviewed on 29-12-2010
Amy Ciscool(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2010 We searched all over the city to find the right venue for our wedding. After meeting Kristina, the banquet manager, we knew 3 West Club was the place to have our ceremony and reception. We had no doubt that they would take care of everything and make our wedding day the special day one always dreams about. \rThe space and location are amazing. With incredible views of the city, exquisite food, and impeccable service, it is no wonder we've received so many compliments regarding our wedding. Every staff member from the person working at the concierge desk to the business manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. All of our numerous requests we made were granted, as the club went out of its way to ensure our day was perfect. If you don't want to worry about a thing on your wedding day, book 3 West Club. The charming and elegant vibe of the building combined with the ever attentive service made the entire experience from beginning to end perfect. Reviewed on 02-12-2010

My daughter got married at the 3 West Club in October 2010. We spent a lot of time researching venues, until we came across the 3 West Club. It was perfect in all aspects-many different areas to use within the club, a perfect location right in the city, and affordable rooms available which was so convenient. The ceremony room and the ballroom were beautiful, the library where we had our cocktail reception was so classy New York, and the views from the Solarium were gorgeous. I was worried that the ballroom might be crowded, but we had 137 people and there was plenty of space for dinner and dancing and we could have easily had more guests. I cannot say enough good things about Kristina, the coordinator. She is so efficient, so courteous, and went well beyond her duties to ensure that my daughter's wedding was absolutely perfect! The entire staff was extremely professional and friendly and the food was abundant and absolutely delicious. Guests are still commenting on our beautiful wedding and the fantastic food. Our wedding was very classy, sophisticated and magical. The 3 West Club is the perfect wedding venue! Reviewed on 02-12-2010
