Welcome to 71 West Ranch. We are a 67-acre venue designed to accommodate weddings and private events for up to 200 people. This charming historical ranch has been updated with modern touches to provide the venue spaces for your perfect day. Along with our venue spaces, we have two on-site preparation suites. The Cottage Suite, built in 1893, is a perfect space for a wedding party to prepare for the day ahead. You will enjoy a master suite, several large mirrors, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, antique vanity room and more in this renovated Cottage. The second preparation, The Station, is another unique and comfortable space to prepare for the day. The Station provides private indoor/outdoor spaces and entertainment options to enjoy your time before the wedding begins. Once guests arrive, they will be spending time around the reception hall and the ceremony site. Our outdoor ceremony site is located at the top of the property on a large ridge. This site boasts long distance hill country views, acres of natural grass, mature live oak trees and breathtaking sunsets. After the ceremony, your guests can enjoy the abundance of outdoor space around the 4,100+ square foot climate-controlled reception hall. The reception hall is home to shiplap walls, custom framed antique doors, unique lighting and an abundance of natural light. The commercial style bathrooms, spacious bar, catering prep room and more is sure to keep your guests and vendors comfortable through your wedding or event. I fell in love with this venue as soon as we pulled up! It’s out in the hill country of Spicewood and owned by a fantastic family! They have an adorable cottage for the bridal party to get ready in, as well as another a large space for the grooms party to get ready in! They have a beautiful reception hall and a cool side space area that is covered for anything you want to turn it into! But my favorite part of this entire property is the ceremony site. They have a beautiful space for the ceremony up on a hill overlooking the hill country. Andy, one of the owners, was my main point of contact during the planning process and he was always so friendly and so helpful! And on the day of, he helped make sure everything went smoothly! He was so helpful at the end of the night too. My family who helped load things up for me at the end of the night, went on and on about how friendly and flexible he was with everything. I could literally go on and on, but those were some of the most important things that stuck out to me!

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and Andy. For starters it is an absolutely gorgeous space. The reception hall and flex space are both modernized while the grooms suite has much more of a rustic feel to the outside of it and it just makes for such a unique venue. The ceremony spot was stunning especially with the weather we had. All of our vendors and guests fit comfortably and with the flex space we were able to spread a couple of vendors out like our photobooth, 2nd bar, and coffee cart. Andy is also the most accommodating and kind venue owner we could’ve found. He worked with us every step of the way and gave us what felt like such a personalized experience which I know we would not have gotten at any other venue we looked at. If you’re considering your wedding here, don’t look any further because this is the spot.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, truly incredible and sooo detailed. Andy had so many details covered, communicated multiple times leading up to the day, and was extremely professional throughout the day of. Not only do you get that kind of support, the venue is breathtaking. The view at the ceremony site, the reception hall, the bridal/groom suite…simply incredible. 71West was truly my dream wedding venue!

First off, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful venue. 71 West Ranch Retreat is a gem of the Texas Hill Country. Plenty of country charm with all the comfort and modern amenities you would expect. Our host, Andy, worked harder than most and bent over backwards time and time again to make sure our time at the venue was perfect. Take the time to visit and we can assure you, you will fall in love.

Let me just start off by saying this was the ONLY venue we toured because we fell in love IMMEDIATELY. The venue is beautiful, romantic, clean, and the view is dreamy! Andy is an absolute gem! He was so easy to work with and made our day go so smooth. Andy and his dad helped us the day before when we came to drop off truck loads of decor. Andy was always so fast at responding and so helpful with recommendations. Andy was there the whole day of our wedding and helped make our day magical. I have been dreaming about my wedding day since I was a little girl and 71 West was everything I had ever imagined and SO much more.Thank you Andy for making our wedding planning process so easy and our wedding day so beautiful.

71 West Ranch was an absolute joy to have as our venue on our wedding day. Andrew Erickson (owner) was patient and kind throughout our entire experience! It was a handful of months after we had toured the grounds before we reached back out wanting to do another walk through and choosing it as our venue. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous with no homes or highways in the background - very serene! All of our guests told us how much they enjoyed being there and we got great pictures. It was the perfect venue and exactly what we were looking for! Thank you so much Andy for helping us a achieve our dream wedding!

Amazing venue! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and unique the space was!The bridal cottage made for some great getting ready shots. Andy was very helpful and let us come walk around the venue many times before our big day. We are so happy we chose to get married at 71 west! :)

We came across this venue by accident and I am so glad we did. Its the most well put together venue in this area. We had the venue all weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. Andy and his family were a dream to work with and make the weekend a dream. Its a beautiful hidden gem in the hill country.
