We absolutely LOVED our experience at a Venue on the Ridge. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with the golf course and city in the background. It was a breeze having everything in one place! They gave us the option to use them for decor as well and let me tell you, I’m SO GLAD we did. The day was stunning and all I had to do was show Amy some pictures and share my vision. And she made it come to life. Devon, Amy, and Tawnya worked so well together to make everything go off without a hitch. Their goal was to make sure my husband and I had the wedding we wanted without the headache of doing everything ourselves. AND THE FOOD. So good! We got endless compliments on our everything about our special day and it wouldn’t have been anything near the perfection it was without the ladies at A Venue on the Ridge. They are AMAZING!

We worked with Molly, Amy, and Devon. They were all wonderful. There was a lag in communication at one point but nobody is perfect and they always made things right for us! Great food and space. Most beautiful outdoor wedding under this beautiful tree.

I cannot say enough good things about A Venue on the Ridge and their staff. They made our wedding day flawless, stress free, and beautiful. As a bride who does not drink alcohol they were VERY accommodating and on top of what I could drink and the drinks at my seat at the table so I could truly enjoy our day. Devon was hired in June/July, and my wedding was 8/4…so that made me very nervous that a new person was going to be running my event I’ve spent so much time and money on. BUT SHE DID SO GOOD!! She was so client-centered, detail-oriented, and didn’t skip a beat. Sometimes these venues/companies just want your money, but Devon and A Venue on the Ridge were all about making our day exactly what we wanted and pictured. I highly recommend A Venue on the Ridge for weddings, holiday parties, class reunions, whatever the event because they will 100% knock it out of the park!

We just got married at a Venue on the Ridge this past weekend - and it was truly one of the best days of my life and I can't stop raving about them. We booked them over two years ago, and every interaction leading up to the wedding was a positive experience. Tanya and Amy were AMAZING helping lead the rehearsal the night before, which kept my mind at ease knowing that it would go perfectly. The day of, they made sure that everything was perfect for my husband & I. All of our guests told us how they loved the food, drinks, and loved how the dance floor is in the middle of the room! That was probably my favorite part, it helps the dance floor stay busy all night. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone. I wish I could relive the day over and over.

This venue exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding reception. The food was delicious and the line moved SO fast which was incredible because we got to the dancing way earlier than expected! The staff was very communicative throughout the entire process and so nice throughout the night ensuring my husband and I were happy as well as all of our guests. I had a day of coordinator hired outside of the venue's staff and they made sure that she was well-informed. Would highly recommend this space for your reception!

Everything about the reception venue was perfect. The staff worked with us and were highly communicative, both beforehand and during the reception. They have catering in-house, and the food was delicious, so that was a relief that we didn’t have to coordinate with another vendor! The space was incredible, and it was evident that everyone there was as concerned with the reception going well as I was! I would book them again for an event without hesitation!

Everything about the reception venue was perfect. The staff worked with us and were highly communicative, both beforehand and during the reception. We had our wedding October 2nd, 2021 and everything was absolutely perfect, from the initial walkthrough the year prior to the month ahead meeting, the rehearsal day, and wedding day. They always answered our questions timely and if they didn't exactly know an answer or we had a particular request, we still got things answered ASAP, and it all remained so well priced. Rehearsal/decorating day was made so easy and we were always consulted on what our wishes were. We added many bonuses of uplighting, picture backdrop, barn door backdrop for cake table, and the absolutely beautiful floral decorations for the barn door and our outdoor arbor, late night nacho and churro bar, and they were all SO worth it. Everything was PERFECT. Our wedding day had a range of rain chances and all staff remained positive and made sure we could have our ceremony outside. Tanya, the day of coordinator, was everything I could have wished for and catered to us hand and foot. I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day and it was a perfect day that went by way too fast.

We just had our wedding this weekend at A Venue On the Ridge. We absolutely loved the owners Amy & Bob they are amazing and so accommodating. We had our wedding of approx. 190 people outside, and the reception inside. They didn’t have a separate space for us to get ready so they came up with two spaces, and it ended up being perfect. They had everything we needed, and if they didn’t they found it for us. Everything went incredibly smooth, the food was amazing we chose the two entree, two starches option. We had an open bar- silver package and it was totally worth it. We 100% recommend A Venue On The Ridge.

We got married in August of 2020 during all the craziness of Covid and The Ridge was so helpful and understanding the entire time! We ended up having about 200 guests, the venue was beautiful, the food was delicious (seriously, people couldn't stop talking about how good it was) and Molly and team were so nice and amazing to work with the whole time! I highly recommend booking with them if you want to be out west, have a beautiful venue, delicious food, great people to work with, and a reasonable price!

We got a late start due to another venue closing and running away with our money. BUT Molly the event coordinator worked diligently to try to find a date that could accommodate. From the first communication with her to the last (when the flower girl had lost her shoes and we needed to find them) they were top notch. The owners are amazing, they do the catering in-house and it was wonderful. Everything turned out as promised. Our families love language is food so that was super important to us. One of the best prime ribs we have had. We also used the outdoor patio for the actual wedding and that was set up so nicely. We did very little decorating as they had it all set up already. There was some confusion on the open bar but that was totally on us not clarifying our understanding so I would recommend that you do that. Even create a sign to have on the bar so guest know what is \"free\" They also ended up recommending a florist who turned out to be extraordinary. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a

We just had our reception there and it was amazing. Danica from the very beginning was helpful, and the night of our wedding she helped with food, got us drinks, and made sure everyone is happy. I wanted a place where I didn’t have to provide a lot. Plus the catering company there is really good. My Guest kept commenting on how amazing the food was. Want a great place for a reasonable buck this place is it. You won’t regret it.

We just had our reception there and it was amazing. Danica from the very beginning was helpful, and the night of our wedding she helped with food, got us drinks, and made sure everyone is happy. I wanted a place where I didn’t have to provide a lot. Plus the catering company there is really good. My Guest kept commenting on how amazing the food was. Want a great place for a reasonable buck this place is it. You won’t regret it.

The venue itself is gorgeous on its own but they provide quality linens, decorations and china all included in your room rental. The food is also incredible! They independently contract with Fresh catering but it is for good reason! The food is delicious and every single one of our guests has raved about how great it was! But the true reason behind this 5star review is because of their coordinator Danica. She went above and beyond on our weekend to make sure everything went smoothly. She coordinated with our vendors for set up, helped us decorate the Friday before the wedding and kept everything running perfectly the day of! She is truly the best!

I recently had my wedding reception at The Ridge in Elkhorn. Although the food was wonderful and the service was great, I was not impressed with the overall experience. My fiancé and I first met with the manager and reviewed costs of the bar services and catering etc. Thirty days out from the wedding, we again met, but with the events coordinator this time. We had a total of 223 adults RSVP and 78 kids under the age of 21 RSVP, 21 of which were age 5 or younger. The events coordinator even made a comment that it was a lot of kids, which we were aware. When we got to the bar services part of the contract, we assumed that we would only be paying bar services for adults old enough to receive BAR services. I was very disappointed that this was not the case and there would be no reduced rates for kids for bar services or meal services. We had to deal with it since we were only 30 days out at this point. We signed the contract and paid for a 6 hour event. In addition to this issue, the night of the reception, the dance floor was packed all night long; everyone was having a great time. Thirty minutes prior to the event closing there were at least 50 people still dancing and my DJ advised me that the events coordinator had told him he would shut down in 15 minutes. I still don't understand why we were shut down early when we had already paid for the full 6 hours and clearly, the party had not died down. Being as this was my wedding, it was the greatest day of my life, but the events coordinator didn't even pretend to be happy at such an occasion. All night, he stomped around the hall and glared at my guests. Several times people came up to me asking who he was and why he had such an attitude. I recently had my wedding reception at The Ridge in Elkhorn. Although the food was wonderful and the service was great, I was not impressed with the overall experience. My fiancé and I first met with the manager and reviewed costs of the bar services and catering etc. Thirty days out from the wedding, we again met, but with the events coordinator this time. We had a total of 223 adults RSVP and 78 kids under the age of 21 RSVP, 21 of which were age 5 or younger. The events coordinator even made a comment that it was a lot of kids, which we were aware. When we got to the bar services part of the contract, we assumed that we would only be paying bar services for adults old enough to receive BAR services. I was very disappointed that this was not the case and there would be no reduced rates for kids for bar services or meal services. We had to deal with it since we were only 30 days out at this point. We signed the contract and paid for a 6 hour event. In addition to this issue, the night of the reception, the dance floor was packed all night long; everyone was having a great time. Thirty minutes prior to the event closing there were at least 50 people still dancing and my DJ advised me that the events coordinator had told him he would shut down in 15 minutes. I still don't understand why we were shut down early when we had already paid for the full 6 hours and clearly, the party had not died down. There really is not enough I can say about Rick and the Ridge! We has the most perfect experience I could have ever imagined. When looking for a venue for our reception, all we wanted was an open room with a large dance floor for a decent price. That is exactly what we got here! Rick was awesome to work with, he is very enthusiastic and there to answer any questions you may have leading up to the day. The bar staff was fantastic! And I don't think there was a single person that didn't tell us how great the food was! I wouldn't have changed a thing and I would recommend The Ridge to absolutely everyone!

Picking The Ridge was the best decision that we could have made. My husband and I looked at numerous reception halls and just couldn't find the one that we thought was fair and fit us. Everyone likes to nickle and dime you and add on charges for every little thing. The Ridge included everything and made it so easy. The facilities are just beautiful and the staff is great to work with. The food was beyond amazing! Seriously, some people worry about the additional cost for in-house catering but seriously this place was worth it! Definitely highly recommend.

Bob & Amy Freshman (Owner) Bob Freshman is an Omaha native who has spent his adult years filling his entrepreneurial heart. Bob discovered his passion for cooking early in his life. He often tells the story of his babysitter teaching him to cook an egg at the age of five. From this passion of cooking Bob discovered the gift of sharing this love with others. Bob has personally been the exclusive caterer at The Ridge Banquet Facility since 2007. In 2019, Bob and his wife, Amy, purchased The Ridge Banquet Facility now, A Venue on the Ridge.
