Located in Stamford, CT, The Loading Dock is a chic SoHo-esque loft space that is perfectly suited to engaged couples seeking to host a sophisticated wedding celebration. Designed by the New York architect, Jeremiah Bailey, and Paula Fox Interiors, this modern and sleek venue offers couples 15,000-square-feet of space. The team will go the extra mile to bring your vision to life and will strive to secure your complete satisfaction as you say âI doâ. The Loading Dock can accommodate up to 300 guests for special occasions. There is a varied selection of unadorned event spaces on-site, including ballrooms, a gallery, and an arcade. Each space features industrial-style furnishings such as exposed ductwork, brick walls, and hardwood floors. Couples have the luxury of designing their big day in a way that suits their authentic personalities, as each area is minimal in decor. Dressing rooms are also available on-site to allow brides and grooms some space to relax before the beginning of the festivities. Abigail Kirsch at The Loading Dock had the Brooklyn/NYC vibes we were looking for without the price tag. The Loading Dock offers an industrial-chic look with NYC/SoHo loft vibes that were different from your typical catering hall and overall just felt like it was more us. We were able to take our photos all over the industrial park, which felt unique to us as a couple. We worked with Andrea in sales and she was so helpful in answering all of our questions and allowing us to bring our families for a visit after we had secured the venue. The Maitre D, Molly, is so lovely - she truly made our experience at The Loading Dock so wonderful and our day ran perfectly.We held our ceremony in the brick space offered and it felt so intimate and moody. The food was unbelievable - our guests could not stop talking about Abigail Kirsch's beautifully plated meals and how delicious every bite was. Not to mention, the staff was extremely attentive, and everything truly felt so white glove. We are already planning our anniversary dinner at one of Abigail Kirsch's restaurants in the city next year!

I cannot speak enough about the Loading Dock and my experience from start to finish. My husband and I wanted a space that was unique and industrial, evoking a NYC vibe. The Loading Dock brought our vision to life and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, Andrea was attentive, answering all of our questions and providing a fantastic tour of the space in Stamford. Then, working with our Event Coordinator, Molly, was fantastic. Molly has such amazing knowledge of weddings, parties, and the space itself. She was incredibly efficient and is truly a professional. She made my family and I feel so confident in our celebration where we didn't have to worry about ONE thing. The day of Bridal Assistant, Katelyn, was phenomenal as well. She immediately greeted me when I arrived and brought my husband and I food, helped to bustle my dress, and provided me with everything I needed throughout the night. My daughters dream wedding came true on July 15th. I had to sit down and write a review for THE LOADING DOCK, STAMFORD. From a year ago when we booked the venue to the wedding day, all was perfection. Timelines were made, beautiful ideas were shared, and the final outcome was beyond our dreams. Molly, our Event Manager was the sweetest, and so professional in all her guidance and attention to every single detail. Nothing was left to question. She greeted us at the door at the reception and kept the night flowing to perfection. THE FOOD!!!!! OMG! Every single guest keeps telling me how amazing each bite was. The cocktail hour was beyond exceptional and the main meal and dessert were amazing. Each bite hot and the finest produce, meats, etc...was used. The servers went above and beyond in their attention to detail and service. The bartenders...amazing. Made specialty drinks for us all, and were so fun! Kaitlyn, my daughters Bridal Attendant, never left her side and made sure every need was met. I walked in and she immediately, on her own busseled the wedding gown and just made everything run smoothly. Our DJ and florist gave a rave review as well. Told us Molly and the crew were amazing to work with. I cannot recommend The Loading Dock enough. A lifelong dream came true that day. I humbly thank Molly and everyone for such a perfect evening. We will always fondly remember such a night of beautiful memories! Thank you!

The Loading Dock is the ultimate venue to host your wedding at! The space is unique, romantic, and industrial which is hard to find in CT. We did minimal decorations and it still looked so stunning. We loved The Loading Dock for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! They worked close with us leading up to the day to ensure everything was how we envisioned. The food was delicious and we were told by multiple guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The staff were very attentive and helpful during the reception. In particular, the event coordinator and bridal attendant were the best, they foresaw all of our needs, made sure we had drinks and were able to eat some of the food. We cannot recommend The Loading Dock enough and hope we can attend a wedding there one day to get the experience as a guest!

After rescheduling our wedding due to CO-VID from a previous venue, throughout the whole process we always felt like we were in the best of hands with the team at Abigail Kirsch. The venue space took my breath away, the service was top notch, and THE FOOD was BEYOND FABULOUS. I had so many people come up to me and tell me it was the best wedding food they had ever had (one person even told me their steak meal was better than steakhouse quality). If you are looking for a venue that is different from your typical wedding hall, this is the place for you!! Thank you Andrea and the entire AK team for making our wedding the best day ever!

From the moment I walked into The Loading Dock I knew that our wedding had to be there. Having been to more weddings than I can count we wanted a venue that didnât look or feel like everywhere else. The team of people behind The Loading Dock are some of the most professional and talented people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Ed and Candice assisted us with the entire planning process and made it an absolute pleasure. I had no worries going into our day knowing that it was in Edâs hands. The entire day was flawless! We had our wedding The Loading Dock in May 2017. Our wedding was a dream come true and we could not have been happier with our venue choice. While at first we found ourselves intimidated by the âblank canvasâ that the space presents, the team at the venue was incredibly accommodating, not only to us and our families, but to our vendors, many of whom they recommended. The space allows for almost anything in terms of dĂ©cor and we ended up having a âsecret gardenâ theme with string lights and greenery. Our wedding was completely unique and unlike any other wedding we had attended in the past. The food options were awesome and not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing. We were told by so many of our guests how the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Finally, the team was so attentive, whether it was allowing us to drop decorations off early, to making sure we always had a drink or a special platter of the food - they exceeded our expectations!

Incredible wedding venue!!! The space is awesome - a very cool space with great event flow. The food is absolutely delicious with so many options to choose from. And, the staff is friendly, attentive and professional. All of these elements together make up an amazing wedding venue. We continue to receive so many compliments from our guests about the venue, food and staff. The after party in the arcade game room was also such a fun way to end the night. SO happy with our wedding at The Loading Dock. The staff was incredibly attentive, constantly checking on myself, my husband, and the bridal party all day and making sure we had everything we could possibly need. The space was gorgeous, everyone from waiters to bartenders to our coordinator were incredibly professional and courteous. And I'm STILL getting texts about how incredible the food was. I've been told by many of our guests that they had the best steak of their lives that night! I'd HIGHLY recommend this venue.

I honestly do not think there are enough good things I could say about The Loading Dock. I was beyond happy with everyone we worked with, the food, the service, and everything else. I knew from the second my fiance and I had our first visit that it was a unique and special place. We wanted something different and did not want your typical wedding venue. Choosing The Loading Dock was the best decision ever! We still get compliments about how amazing our wedding was, especially the food!!

I knew from the second my fiance and I had our first visit that it was a unique and special place. We wanted something different and did not want your typical wedding venue. My wife and I were married at the Loading Dock in September of 2014 and we can't say enough about it! From the day we walked in, we knew it was the spot for us! \r\rThe venue has a very modern, contemporary and raw feel, which we absolutely loved. When we met the people behind the venue, we were sold! They were very professional and courteous but extraordinarily friendly at the same time.\r\rWe were looking for a venue that would provide \"food all night\" as opposed to a proper sit-down dinner and the Loading Dock's \"Phases\" menu did just that. The planning process was a breeze with the Loading Dock Team, including Jayme, Nancy, and Lorraine and all of the day-of details were taken care of before we could even ask about them!\r\rThey were very thoughtful and thorough. We took our wedding pictures outside of the venue and there were even dedicated waiters and waitresses to bring us appetizers and cocktails so that we wouldn't miss the food at cocktail hour. In addition, there was at least one waiter/waitress per guest table and the bartenders were tremendous as well, never letting anyone go without a full glass. The service was absolutely impeccable and I would compare it to a four-star dining experience.\r\rWith that in mind, the food was truly next-level. Not only was it inventive, inspired and out of the ordinary, but there really was something for everyone. From the Margarita served frozen in a Blood Orange peel to the Short-Rib Pie in a Jar, the presentation was gorgeous and the food tasted even better than it looked. Several guests remarked that their steak was some of the best they'd ever had and more than a few asked if the Loading Dock was open for dinner regularly.\r\rAll in all, we'd absolutely recommend the Loading Dock for a wedding (and even other events). The staff was wonderful to work with and it showed how much they care about their customers and how proud they are of their work. The food was great, the decor was on point, and I honestly can't say enough about the venue.\r\rAs a parting note, numerous guests told us that our wedding was the best wedding they'd ever been to, with the combination of the modern venue, excellent food and top notch service. Two of said guests had given weddings in the past 6 months for their own children, so take that for what you will!\r\rThank you to the Loading Dock Team!!
