Abita Roasting Company was a dream - the venue was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond throughout the entire process, the food was delicious, and the wedding coordinator, Jamie, was there to support us at every step. We chose Abita Roasting Company because of the view of the river, the beautiful trees that are around the venue, and the convenience of having indoor and outdoor space for our guests. We rented the entire venue, and the ease and convenience of having all of the space to ourselves was ideal. There could not be a more picture-perfect place to hold the wedding, especially since minimal decorations were needed - nature and the venue itself provided the perfect backdrop. We had several add-ons to the wedding package, including the dance floor, tent, seating, staging, table linens, and police detail (for the ceremony). Jamie communicated with us throughout the entire planning process, and when we decided we did not need a tent, she was able to work with us.Leading up to wedding, Jamie and the staff was always attentive to our needs and worked to make sure we had all that we wanted. They were gracious when we asked for a food accommodation not initially known, and all of the food we chose (including, but not limited to, the spinach and artichoke dip, finger sandwiches, and bayou chicken) within our wedding package were immense value for the price point. All of my guests raved about the food and the staff - everyone felt so welcomed and enjoyed the meal. Even two weeks after the wedding, we are still receiving compliments on the venue, food, and experience. Now, after the wedding, several friends and family who are local to the area let me know that they will make Abita Roasting Company a place they'll go when they want great food and a welcoming experience. We will be customers for life and encourage all of our friends who are getting married to choose Abita Roasting Company. Reviewed on 18-11-2023
Andrew Maal(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2022 Overall, this vendor far exceeded our expectations, in terms of the quality of food, drinks, service, and especially attention to details for our family and guests who had special dietary restrictions. We had several specific requests for the menu, which they met with helpful questions, timely delivery and exemplary food service the night of the wedding reception. We also paid a fee for cake-cutting and boxing up excess food for the bride's family to take home, which was a great option. Our guests had only good things to say about Abita Roasting Co. Worth every penny! Reviewed on 30-07-2022
Savannah J(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2018 The Abita Roasting Co. was such a perfect venue! Guests are still talking about how great the food was (seriously, it was delicious) and how beautiful everything turned out. They closed the business sooner than expected so that we could set everything up and they made sure to everything prepped for when we arrived. The view is amazing overlooking the water and their staff was helpful and worked non-stop! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Reviewed on 20-10-2018

Heather Weaver(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-09-2016 We were married at Abita Roasting Company on Sept. 1, 2016. Their event coordinator was an absolute dream to work with. Ms. Cindy helped our dreams come true, decorated the building just the way I asked, and stayed there the whole night to make sure the event ran smoothly. This sweet coffee house turns in to a romantic and intimate venue once the customers are gone and the sun goes down. We had an 8-piece band in the back underneath the lights and chandeliers hung in the trees. The front porch provided more seating while people ate (FOOD WAS AMAZING!! PEOPLE WERE SO IMPRESSED!) while they watched the sun go down over the river. Bottom line: If you want a classy, unique spot on the Northshore for a wedding with 200 or less people, go check out Abita Roasting Company. We were married in the front of the house; food, drinks, beer, wine and a coffee bar were inside. Side note: The beer selection was impressive. Reviewed on 12-10-2016
