I had my wedding here in late August 2023. The venue is beautiful and the coordinator is very flexible. As an example, we were planing to have our reception lunch outside but it ended up pouring on that day. It was super nice of AC hotel to let us use their dining area at no extra cost. I was a little worried about the dividers looking ugly, but it ended up not mattering. The venue was beautiful regardless. We also unexpectedly had a guest show up without an RSVP and they were swift in providing a seat for him and providing extra food for him. They were a little slow to respond until approximately 1 month before the wedding, but once the wedding was a month away they would start answering all our emails immediately and we would start having more phone calls. They have an amazing vendors list. We chose from the vendors list for almost all our venders even after carefully viewing several different vendors on websites like the knot. The recommended vendors were unbeatable in price and service. I cannot express how helpful their recommended vendors list is! Finally, I had a project where I folded 1000 cranes (I’m Japanese) and we wanted to hang them over the dance floor. They were very accommodating and let us use tape to hang them all. We had to put all the cranes up, but they luckily took down all the tape. AC hotel Worcester has been so accommodating throughout the whole process, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone having a wedding around the area!

The AC Hotel was the perfect spot for our Worcester wedding weekend and we would recommend anybody to consider them if you’re getting married in the area. The hotel is new, modern, and has an elegant feel to it. It is also centrally located in downtown Worcester and steps to many popular locations. We held our cocktail hour and wedding reception at the hotel in September, for 170 people, and we also held a room block of about 50 or 60 rooms for the event. The AC nailed every little detail for our event. The event coordinator, Courtney, was wonderful to work with and paid attention to all of our needs while offering advice, suggestions, and worked with us through any issue that came up. There was more than reasonable flexibility for all of our special requests, whether it was an alteration to the menus, accommodating food allergies, or working our room layout. The food was remarkable and the kitchen and wait staff executed the timing of service with perfection. The bar staff were equally great in moving the lines along and tending to our guests needs. The hotel staff were excellent at handling our guests and - despite the fact that there was another wedding block that weekend with the almost exact last name (literally a 1 letter difference) - there was never a mixup in attending to our guests or distributing welcome bags. Some other details: the bridal suite comfortably handled 11 women for hair and makeup, and the catering was on time and with excellent food. The lobby has a beautiful fireplace for group pictures. The outdoor tent and Wachusett ballroom were more than spacious for our guest count - the ballroom looks great fully decorated and we recommend adding uplighting to make it really pop (purple worked well for our event.) Finally, AC is a Marriott property and the staff are backed by the large corporate resources: we were ensured that they could support anything we needed and, if anything unexpected happened, that they would be able to accommodate us - this was particularly reassuring coming out of the pandemic, when we were forced to cancel with another venue. We chose the AC Hotel for our 8/20/2022 wedding. We could not be happier with this venue!!! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and clean. Parking is easy and many great things Worcester has to offer are within walking distance. The staff are friendly, helpful, and made sure that we and our guests had a comfortable, fun, and memorable experience. One of the reasons we were drawn to the AC were the many positive reviews about Courtney and let us tell you, she does not disappoint!!! She was a tremendous help from the time we toured/booked the venue to the day of the wedding. She was so personable, responsive, detailed, and organized. She truly helped us achieve our vision for the day which was such a big success. Our family and friends are still raving about it and we could not have done it without Courtney. We also met Sarah the weekend of the wedding and she too was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. Bennett the lobby bartender was exceptional. He could keep up with and please any crowd (ours was a big one!!). The food was delicious and the servers and bartenders were fabulous. We cannot say enough about our experience and will definitely be back to visit. Thank you to Courtney, Sarah, Bennett and all the other amazing staff at the AC Hotel for helping us with the best weekend of our lives!! 🤍

We chose the AC Hotel for our 8/20/2022 wedding. We could not be happier with this venue!!! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and clean. Parking is easy and many great things Worcester has to offer are within walking distance. The staff are friendly, helpful, and made sure that we and our guests had a comfortable, fun, and memorable experience. The venue is beautiful, modern and well kept. The ballroom and outdoor tent were the perfect space for a wedding. We chose this venue for our wedding because it was so picturesque and included so many amenities. Our guests were very pleased with their hotel rooms and stay. The food was amazing, and enjoyed by all. The staff is friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy on our wedding day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a wedding venue in Worcester.

My daughter’s wedding was held at the AC this weekend and it was perfect! From rehearsal on Friday night to brunch on Sunday morning the hotel and staff was exceptional. ( a big shout out to Jessica, a member of the waitstaff who took care of our every need throughout the weekend!) The rooms and public spaces are clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The suites were large enough for us to have makeup and hair done without leaving the floor we were on. The meal was delicious, desserts were yummy and the drinks were not watered down. The bar ran smoothly without anyone waiting in a long line for a drink. Courtney Maleakas, the event coordinator at the AC is phenomenal! We had some glitches two weeks before the wedding which were very stressful and she had fantastic solutions enabling us to relax before the wedding. She had all the rooms set up beautifully with all our decorations set up exactly as we wanted them. From the minute we walked down the aisle we were able to enjoy ourselves without a care in the world thanks to her and her staff. I received constant compliments about the wedding throughout the night. Thank you Courtney and the AC Marriott for making my daughter’s wedding everything she hoped it would be and more!

As the Mother of the Bride, I was pretty involved in helping to plan my daughter's wedding. The AC Hotel Worcester was tremendous to work with! Courtney, the Catering Director was able to magically be in 10 places at once to make sure everything was set up and arranged perfectly. She and her staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating and everything went off without a hitch. I couldn't be happier with the food, the service from the staff and the venue itself. The whole experience was outstanding.

Courtney was absolutely wonderful in helping us plan our wedding. Our wedding was around 50 guests, quite small but the hotel was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. The hotel is stunning and gorgeous, plenty of places to take photos. Our guests even commented on the professionalism and kindness of the staff, they were awesome! Our hotel room was spacious and clean, perfect if you’re getting ready on site! Although I live in the city, I would book another night just to stay at the AC Hotel!

The hotel is stunning and gorgeous, plenty of places to take photos. Our guests even commented on the professionalism and kindness of the staff, they were awesome! Our hotel room was spacious and clean, perfect if you’re getting ready on site! Although I live in the city, I would book another night just to stay at the AC Hotel!

Amidst a busy and hectic COVID wedding planning season in early 2021, my wife and I got into contact with Courtney from the AC Hotel in Worcester, and quickly many of our anxieties about our wedding reception melted away. From the first phone call to literally the day of the wedding (when we were trying to decide whether we would need space heaters for the reception), Courtney and the rest of entire AC Hotel community were incredibly helpful, supportive, and flexible when navigating how to have a COVID-safe wedding for my wife and I and all our guests.We opted to have the reception outside underneath their (truly beautiful and spacious!) tent for just about 75 guests which was about the perfect size for us. It easily housed our guests with plenty of room for a bar and a dance floor. The food was wonderful ( we opted for the short rib and a chicken dish). In total, the price to rent out the event space with food and drink was a very reasonable price, made better by how truly wonderfully kind every member of the serving staff was, including during our next-day breakfast for our guests.There is plenty of easy-to-access parking underneath the hotel, and the hotel's located pretty centrally in downtown Worcester, making for easy travel to and from Worcester, especially for those who took the train.The hotel rooms themselves are definitely on the pricier side (for Worcester at least) but our wedding suite was very spacious and definitely worth the cost. My wife was able to comfortably have all of her hair and make-up for her and her bridal party done in our suite. Overall, we loved our time at the AC Hotel, and we cannot imagine our wedding day without it. Hopefully Courtney and the rest of the AC Hotel can help you all soon!

I hosted my wedding at the AC hotel Worcester this past August, 2021. This venue, staff and the event director Courtney were top notch! I planned the entire event only 5 months ahead of the date and everything went off without a hitch. Courtney helped me every step of the way by providing vendors, being very responsive to all of my questions, and being a HUGE help the day of my wedding! She was so personable and easy to work with. The venue was my style and the price was extremely reasonable. We hosted a post-wedding lounge the night of and a brunch the morning after. The day of and morning after the wedding went very smoothly and all of our guests kept telling us how good the food was and how much fun they had. Honestly I don’t have any complaints and would recommend to a friend!

I hosted my wedding at the AC hotel Worcester this past August, 2021. This venue, staff and the event director Courtney were top notch! I planned the entire event only 5 months ahead of the date and everything went off without a hitch. Courtney helped me every step of the way by providing vendors, being very responsive to all of my questions, and being a HUGE help the day of my wedding! She was so personable and easy to work with. The venue was my style and the price was extremely reasonable. We hosted a post-wedding lounge the night of and a brunch the morning after. The day of and morning after the wedding went very smoothly and all of our guests kept telling us how good the food was and how much fun they had. Honestly I don’t have any complaints and would recommend to a friend!

Beautiful, Modern, Elegant, Classy. The AC Hotel is a beautiful location for all your wedding needs. Once you step through the doors, you will know this is where you want to have your wedding! While one may describe the venue as elegant and modern, this venue would never be described as cold. The staff is extremely kind and willing to help you every step of the way. Courtney and her team go above and beyond to make sure that both the couple and their guests have the most unforgettable nights of their lives. Our guest were beyond ecstatic with every detail of our wedding. The AC hotel does not only deliver on their promises, but also executes everything with great finesse. Our guests are still raving about every bit of their meal- to the main entrée, to the salad, and even the butter that came with the rolls! Our wedding planning was a bit of a challenge following an unexpected change less than four months out from our wedding date. We had to find a new venue due to circumstances out of our control. We were so lucky (and honestly enough… lucky does not even come close to describing how we felt) when we found out the AC Hotel had our date available and would be able to meet with us. As we all know, planning a wedding is beyond stressful, re-planning details at the 11th hour is a whole different level. However, this stress all changed once we had a first meeting/showing with Courtney. From this point on we knew we were going to be in good hands. Not only was the AC able to accommodate a number of additions we were planning for the other venue, but they were able to successfully move over a hotel block from our previous location so our guest would be at one convenient place. Whenever we had any questions, Courtney was always there to answer promptly. This did not matter if you sent pages and pages of questions – you got all of your answers in great detail. Even the execution of our visions went beyond our expectations. Every bride and groom has these great ideas of DIY projects, bring their own supplies, and then drop it off in crates. We did this and more. multiple carloads of supplies; signs, decorations for additional tables, unique sign-in supplies, outdoor entertainment, more signs, endless favors for our guest, a complex number of escort pumpkins, our own monogrammed napkins, candles, place settings, and a fully stocked candy table. The real magic however was the team taking these supplies and realizing our vision. With this task, the team went above and beyond our expectations… each and every detail was on point. For any of your guest staying at the hotel, the staff is beyond gracious. From the moment you walk-in for check-in, the front desk truly treats you like a friend. This does not stop here but goes for each member of the hotel staff. You will get a friendly hello or good morning for each person you pass by; the front desk, the lobby bar team, the breakfast area, and also the housekeeping staff. Enough cannot be said about the size and elegance of the rooms. Clean, modern, relaxing… you will not want to leave. We highly recommend the AC Hotel by Marriott as both the location for your wedding and the hotel in which you choose for your wedding guests!

This is a beautiful hotel! I had my wedding reception at a nearby venue, and used this hotel for my room block and also the morning after brunch. The staff at the AC hotel were super helpful and responsive to details! For the room block, Megan was very responsive with emails and questions, and I knew exactly when people were arriving so that I knew when I needed to drop off the welcome bags I made. The room block price was fair and affordable, especially given the value of the quality of this hotel! For the morning after brunch, Courtney was incredibly helpful and responsive. I was able to tour the ballroom ahead of time and make decisions about the menu. All of the pricing and menu choices were straightforward, and delicious. The setup was so classy, and the food was delicious. During the day of my wedding they also went the extra mile and accommodated opening the lobby bar one hour early so that my wedding guests would have an easily accessible place to get refreshments during the gap of time between my ceremony and reception, both at other nearby venues. The hotel lobby was quite comfortable with plenty of seating, and also a pretty fireplace. After my wedding reception was over, multiple guests enjoyed snacks and drinks at the hotel lobby bar as a small after party, which was super convenient. Parking is convenient with an underground affordable garage. There are nearby areas for food and coffee, so I was able to have coffee and breakfast easily provided for my bridal party while getting ready. The hotel is also very close to Union Station, quite convenient. Besides the hotel rooms being beautiful, the staff were also super friendly. They brought me extra chairs to my suite when needed for hair/makeup. They also brought extra coffee pods, cups, and other needs for my bridal party while getting ready. Multiple guests commented on how much they loved their rooms and the hotel, and had a comfortable stay. There also were lavender satchets available at the elevators at bedtime, which is such a unique and thoughtful touch. I was also incredibly touched by a surprise of finding chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling water in my room that evening after my wedding, with a note from Megan and the hotel staff congratulating us on our wedding! Truly a thoughtful group! During checkout, there was a minor confusion with the room reservation bill for one of my family members, and the staff were very friendly and patient and helpful. This is truly a quality place, both with services at the hotel, the physical environment, and the incredible thoughtfulness of the staff. Highly recommended! This was the perfect hotel for my wedding weekend and I couldn’t be more grateful for the positive experience for me and my guests that entire weekend. Thank you AC Hotel Worcester!!!

We just got married on 10/5/19 and everything about our wedding at the AC Marriot was absolutely perfect!! Here are the finer points:1. The hotel is beautiful. If you are having guests from out of town, it makes it so easy to have the reception there and then everyone can just take the elevators upstairs to their rooms at the end of the night. 2. We picked this venue because of the resident planner, Courtney. While the hotel is beautiful as I stated above, Courtney is really who sold us. She is so organized. She communicated every important detail to us. She probably responded to approximately 1000 emails over the last 10 months during the planning process, always responding in a timely fashion and she never made me feel like I was being a pain. A specific example of how she went above and beyond: I picked linens for my tables. She ordered samples of the linens, and because she had spent the last 9 ish months listening to me talk about my vision, when she set the table with the samples she was aware that it was NOT what I was envisioning. Brides, when you are busy and your wedding is quickly approaching, you will have a lot on your plate, and you could potentially accidentally pick linens which end up being lavender table cloths when you meant to pick gray. This is the exact circumstance I found myself in. Courtney really had no obligation to bring this to my attention, after all, it was an oversight on my part and for the record, the linens were the exact ones I picked. But, like I said before, she took the time to get to know me and my vision, and she knew it wasn't what I meant to pick. She made time to have me come in the next day and see the linens in person, and I agreed, it was NOT what I wanted. We ordered the right linens and the entire room the night of the wedding looked absolutely amazing. That is just one example of many times she went above and beyond in our wedding planning process.3. The food is delicious and it is served ON time. Nothing worse than going to a wedding and waiting for hours for food when you've been starving all day. Everything came out hot and on time.4. The ballroom is a good size for our group (177 total), the tent is beautiful, and the staff are all friendly and professional.5. Parking is easy in the garage, great location with many options for guests from out of town close by for food and drinks.6. We stayed in a suite which was great for hair/makeup and pictures the day of. We also coordinated with Courtney to have lunch set up for the bridal party during the getting ready process. It was delivered on time and was perfect to keep us from starving all day.I don't have any pictures back from my photographer yet, but the ballroom was absolutely beautiful. The staff set up all my DIY decorations exactly to my specifications. As soon as I have pictures back I will post them. I can't say enough positive things. Have your wedding at the AC Marriot Worcester, it will be amazing.

A DREAM! My wedding was just over a month ago and our guests continue to RAVE about the AC and how perfect of a venue it was to hold our wedding. Courtney and all of the staff at the AC truly went above and beyond our wildest imaginations and expectations. Our guest were so complimentary of first how beautiful the AC & how welcoming the staff is, but also how accessible the hotel is for every mode of transportation!I am incredibly thankful we found the AC and chose them as our wedding venue!Courtney was top notch. I couldn't be happier with the venue and Courtney was a huge part of that. She was there every step of the way- either to answer anxiety driven questions, give me honest opinions, help with wedding party lineup, suggest food options, assist with a realistic timeline, etc. She felt like a family member by the end. She worked around our budget- which was the most important thing to us. We were able to host our wedding here due to her ability to allow the venue to fit our budget. She also even walked me to the AC bus, which graciously took me and my mom and MOH to the first look site. She was ready to greet me when we came back with an umbrella (because there was a tiny chance of rain)! I will never forget her genuine kindness & hardwork throughout the entire wedding planning process and every minute of our wedding day. Below I outlined more details...Punctuality- Courtney and her team answered our questions very quickly and were always available for anything we needed! The wedding itself ran perfectly on time as planned. Courtney meticulously organized each part of our wedding so that we met our timeline and everything was punctual and smooth!Professionalism- I can't say enough about the professionalism that Courtney and her staff demonstrated. They were SO kind and made all of our guests feel so welcome. While I was getting ready we last minute needed chairs in our suite and the staff was at our door within minutes. I loved working with every single one of the staff members! Food- WOW! First, the food was EXACTLY as promised at the tasting- looks, tastes, etc. The food was incredible with large portions and all of our guests were so impressed! The cocktail hour food was circling frequently by the wonderful staff members. The food choices you have are abundant and you really can't go wrong with any choice you make!Bar- The bar staff were fast, efficient, and kind as well. Courtney special ordered some beer for us and they had the bars fully stocked. They seamlessly moved the bars from the cocktail hour into the reception hall for ease of access. Ceremony- We got married in the tent outside. It was absolutely stunning. The space is elegant and classy. We received so many compliments! The staff set up both spaces quickly and efficiently. Courtney was with us every step of the way to ensure the ceremony procedures went as planned.Reception- This room is gorgeous. The room was set up exactly as planned down to every tiny detail- table numbers, table placement, outside things brought in, etc. The room is so flexible and very capable of fulfilling any bride & grooms needs. The cocktail hour hallway is truly stunning.

My husband and I just had our wedding this past weekend 8/31/2019. We actually did not start planning for our wedding until Late February beginning of March of this year. We reached out to Courtney and from that moment on she was extremely accommodating and helpful; from dealing with my constant emails, indecisiveness with my seating plan and guest count to replying in a timely manner, Courtney was so helpful and never made us feel like a bother. Courtney even assisted with an unexpected day of dilemma that held up my ceremony , Courtney and the AC Hotel team were absolutely Phenomenal with going above and beyond for anything my husband and I needed or wanted. Guests are still raving on how beautiful the venue is and how amazing the food tasted! We recommend AC Hotel in Worcester 1000% over. The AC hotel did a wonderful job wiht our Wedding and Reception. There was a large number of out of town guests so having a single location for everything was very important to us. Courtney was on top of everything and communicated well with us leading up to the event. Food was extremely important to us as my groom has a unusually Dietary Restriction. They were able to work with us to make a delicious menu that was 100% friendly for him.

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We absolutely fell in love with the hotel the moment we walked through the door for a tour-which they graciously took us on as we just popped in on the day we got engaged! The majority of our guests traveled in from out of town so we wanted to make sure wherever we chose to host the wedding was convenient. Which we certainly got with the AC! There is so many fun places within walking distance, and inside the hotel, that our guests were able to enjoy! The planning process was smooth, Courtney and her staff were fantastic to work with! We opted to host the ceremony onsite in their tent, which was absolutely stunning for a late afternoon wedding in June. We had an incredible day and have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests!

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding! The AC Marriott was a great hotel for a big group of people and took wonderful care of our wedding guests. We were able to block rooms at a reasonable rate and the check-in process and amenities were fantastic for all of the guests. As the bride and groom, and because we were bringing so many guests to the hotel, we received a suite that was incredibly spacious that it made it easy and comfortable for the bridal party to get ready in the day of the wedding. The entire staff took great care to make sure all of our requests were honored and even left some champagne and chocolates in our suite on our wedding night, even though we held the wedding elsewhere! We had a delicious post-wedding brunch at the hotel in one of their ballrooms and all the guests raved about the food. I highly recommend the chia seed coconut pudding! The AC and the staff were wonderful at every stage of the planning process.

The AC Marriott, Worcester, MA was the hotel of choice for our daughter's wedding, which was held at Mechanic's Hall.We hosted the Post Wedding Brunch on Sunday at The AC Marriott .We appreciated being kept informed of our guests and room counts.The hotel has nice amenities and areas for guests to meet and congregate. Upon arrival, the front desk was extremely attentive to all of us...and our guests were very pleased. Everyone was willing to offer assistance, if needed. We appreciated the extra efforts to give us a private area to fill our gift bags which were then given to our guests upon check in . Sunday's brunch was superb...Chef James and his assistant were great, as was the rest of the staff! Everyone was totally satisfied. The omelette station was perfect, and the Chia pudding was a huge hit....as were the bacon and avocado toasts!We were pleased that so many guests told us that \"It was the best brunch they had ever attended!\"We appreciated Courtney's assistance and extra efforts to ensure a successful weekend. She made it easy to work with her and her co-workers throughout the entire process. Everyone was available and willing to assist to make the weekend a memorable one for the bride & groom. Thank you!

AC Hotel Worcester was first rate from start to finish! We fell in love with it the first time we walked in the door and saw the gas fireplace in the lobby. We were hooked!We had decided early on to have the wedding ceremony and the reception in the same place. We put our wedding together in fairly short time; we first met with the extraordinary Courtney in early February for a May wedding. She and her staff were exceedingly helpful and accommodating every step of the way.The photographers could not get enough of the beautiful decor, and we got some GREAT pictures!All of our guests raved about the food, from the appetizers to the dinner and desserts.And, for the wedding ceremony itself, everything was absolutely perfect! (Courtney probably felt like she ran a 10K coordinating everything!)We cannot recommend the AC Hotel Worcester highly enough!
