The moment my (then) fiance and I stepped foot onto the Agave of Sedona site, we immediately knew that it would be our wedding venue. Even though it was the first venue we'd toured, we knew we wouldn't have to look further. The stunning views from the outdoor space, beautiful ballroom with floor to ceiling windows, multiple bars, warm staff, proximity to town...it was unbelievable.Lauren gave us our tour and was so kind, personable and professional. She led us around the venue and really gave us a good visual of how our wedding could look there. Well, 9 months later, we didn't have to imagine..because we were married there! The entire day was flawless. We are still reliving it! We can't thank Lauren, & the rest of the Agave staff enough for making our day TRULY the best day of our lives.

Throughout the entire process, the Agave team was incredibly helpful, and put us in touch with incredible vendors that worked hard to make our wedding day special. When we shared with our vendors where the wedding would be, all of them new it would be amazing! John took incredible care of us on the day of our wedding, and made sure we felt like the most important people there. Our wedding at Agave was an absolute fairytale. From the first time we saw the venue in person, we knew it was the perfect place for our dream wedding. The views are breathtaking, and the venue itself is planned perfectly. There is such a natural flow to the space that gives guests ample room to enjoy themselves. WOW -The view is absolutely stunning! This was the first venue out of four that we saw one weekend. It was a toss up between another venue but we like the package that Agave had to offer for our guest number. So much beauty inside and out of the venue, you really don't need to add much (my opinion). Misty and Lauren at Agave are so helpful, I would have to call or email them every once in a while to make sure I understood the contract and the amenities that were included with our package, just so much information from everyone when dealing with so many vendors. Our wedding was on 10/26/23 and we were just so happy how everything turned out, it does go by fast! Beautiful feeling when you have a family group text going on and family members are still talking about how beautiful the wedding was.

This venue is gorgeous!! The best venue in Sedona for a mid-level price range. It also has an end time of 10:30, which is later than most other venues in Sedona. The ceremony terrace is outdoor with incredible views and it has a covered area in case of rain. The reception is inside for climate control. The flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception area is ideal. The payment process was easy and straightforward. One thing I will note - there are many rules that come with this venue (no open flame, confetti, shots, ceiling decor, etc) that I'm sure come from bad experiences in the past. Just be sure to read the contract thoroughly before you book if any of these things are a must at your wedding.Our wedding day was absolutely amazing and we would book Agave of Sedona all over again!

Agave is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever seen. When my husband and I first toured Agave, we immediatey felt a breath of fresh air and warmth when we walked in. We met Misty who we connected with right away and immediately felt like we belonged there and were meant to have our wedding there. When you look up photos of Agave and the beautiful view it has to offer it is amplified a million times over in person, that view jumps out and is larger than life. When you book with Agave, you not only get a gorgeous venue that has a beautiful place for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception; but you get the help of two wonderful ladies that run Agave beautifully, Lauren and Misty. I am so thankful to have booked here and loved their vendor recommendations. My favorites that they had recommended were DJ Bobby with Sedona Sounds and Brittanie with Abbie Cakes. Our amazing photographer is from California and is Melissa from Melissa Rae Photography and our wonderful videographer is Steven with AZFilm and they were outside hires that we found!

Lauren and Misty were instrumental in working with me, walking me through all the steps and answering all the questions we had. Our wedding was May 28 and the day could not have gone any better ā it exceeded our expectations. The ceremony facing the red rocks, the reception and dinner on the patio, the photography and video moments were all priceless. I am in the event planning business and know what it takes to pull events together. I can recommend Agave of Sedona as a 5-star wedding/event venue! Not just the location makes a venue, it is the heart of the team that that helps with the process along the way. I felt completely cared for and did not feel like it was just another wedding. We could not be happier that we chose Agave of Sedona as our wedding venue! From the very beginning, everyone we spoke with was kind and attentive. We felt that they were very transparent with all of the costs and options and the Signature Package was the perfect choice for our wedding. We toured several venues in Sedona and we felt that Agave of Sedona had the best views and best venue space. I love that there were many different areas for guests to hang out including multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. Even though this venue is right in town, the way it is situated makes you feel like there is no one else around, which I loved! Our wedding was truly the most perfect day and a lot of that has to do with the fact that we were in the most beautiful venue in our favorite place in the world. Thank you, Agave!

This venue is obvious absolutely stunning but in addition the staff is absolutely fantastic and our wedding went absolutely perfectly! Despite the fact that we did not have a day of coordinator (mistake on our part) our wedding went so smoothly and I really cannot say enough good things about the staff at Agave making that happen! Extra huge shout out to Scott who truly went above and beyond the night of the wedding. He was so kind, funny, and helpful! Working with Lauren and Misty before the wedding was also such a treat and they are both lovely. We loved working with him and I don't think we could have had such a perfect night without him. They make it so easy to find knowledgeable vendors so that the day is seamless, the views are unbelievable, and the location is unbeatable.

ām not going to lieā¦Agave of Sedona was my dream Pinterest venue (literally) and I am still pinching myself that I actually got to get married in such a beautiful location. In 2020 when I got engaged I jokingly asked my partner if he wanted to go visit AZ to look at wedding venues (we both had never been to sedona prior) because I had found a beautiful location on Pinterest that I just had to see in personā¦we and a few friends walked in to our tour and Iām not going to lie I started cryingā¦it is honestly just an absolutely stunning location. They have a few different package choices to choose from (rehearsal time, tables, chairs, bars, bridal suit, grooms āman caveā, basic place settings, ceremony chairs, dance floor, cocktail tables etc. are the types of things included in the packages) to help suit different budgets and an incredible list of preferred vendors to choose from. (I used hitch without a glitch for a day of coordinator and Creative hands cuisine for catering/bar/linens and they were both above and beyond amazing and affordable) They also allow you to BYOB which saved us a ton of money because we were able to buy our liquor from Costco and on base for discounts. The venue is set up perfectly to host ceremony cocktail hour and reception all in one place. The customer service and communication was incredible (this was super important as I was an out of state bride) and the agave team was incredible to work with even as they navigated covid related issues and in house systems/personnel changesā¦THE VIEW IS SPECTACULAR and right next to the property there is the most amazing spot to take sunset photos after the ceremonyā¦I am so incredibly happy that I had the privilege of having our wedding in this venue.

Agave of Sedona is everything you could want and more! This venue is probably one of the more breathtaking ones in the southwest. At the time, I was living in Wyoming and my husband and I were researching venues. Agave of Sedona popped up and the pictures themself were breathtaking, there was no way this venue was real. Stunning venue with good vendor recommendations however my husband and I didnāt always enjoy working with the staff in the time leading up to our wedding. We are still happy we chose this venue - because the views are truly incredible and the venue is very nice overall. We would recommend to other couples.

This venue is absolutely beautiful! I had planned to have a very intimate wedding at the cathedral rock trail, but they closed down weeks before my wedding due to nearby fires, so I needed to book a venue. Agave offered a very affordable ceremony only package for my small wedding, and worked with us to plan on short notice. The employees were happy to help with anything we needed during rehearsal and ceremony to make it run smoothly. It was a picture perfect wedding and it all felt like a dream! I definitely recommend this venue for any new couples!

We had our wedding at Agave of Sedona and we would definitely recommend them!!! The views are spectacular, the venue is very well laid out, and the staff is professional and a well-oiled machine! Wendy and Shaun were very responsive and clear with their expectations. We had to postponed multiple times due to COVID and Agave was flexible and made it a smooth process and for that, we are so thankful! :)A few tactical things...Agave shares a parking lot with a hotel which was helpful in not having to worry about or pay for transportation. There is also a really nice bridal room and groomās room which were nice for photos. The outdoor terraces were incredible and where our guests spent most of their time!I would give a heads up to prospective clients that Wendy is pretty curt in her responses without a ton of pleasantries. It didn't bother us any because she was super responsive and we always got the answers we were looking for, but it may catch you off guard at first. But again, it didnāt bother us and didnāt affect how we rated Agave.My only feedback to Agave would be to consider including add-on amenities in their cost and to allow clients to bring kegs. These would have made a big difference in terms of value and convenience.Lastly, Agave of Sedona is just a venue and doesn't offer a lot of extra services. That is what your other vendors are for. As long as your expectations are in line with that (which is also clearly expressed in the contract) you should have a great experience!!!

We recently had our 6/12/21 ceremony and reception at the Agave of Sedona and everything was PERFECT. From communication beforehand, extensive list of reputable vendors and by far the best scenic view in Sedona, our day could not have gone better. I highly recommend going with an all-inclusive package through this venue to make the day go even smoother like ours did. If you are considering this venue for Sedona or Arizona in general, book them!

This venue is AMAZING! Extremely beautiful inside and out, very clean and has a lot for great space to offer! Their packages are reasonable and they have a lot of things to offer: tables, chairs, tableware, bar, high tops, dance floor, etc. We were a little worried about noice from the road that is close by, but didnāt have a problem at all. The side terrance blocked anything out and of course you canāt beat the views! Wendy was extremely helpful with any questions I had! Thank you for having us! From the very beginning of the wedding planning, after we decided to get married here, Wendy and Shaun were incredible to work with. They answered every question that came up and made us feel valued. Also, they have venders that they like to work with and we picked from their list and most everyone turned out to be pretty good. One thing I do want to note is that if you are going to have steak, make sure that there are steak knives. Everyone had to use dinner knives except for my fiancƩ who asked for a knife and was given a fillet knife.

Wendy, Eric, and the whole team at the Agave of Sedona are simply top notch. They definitely know their craft and they take exceptional care of their venue. The whole space is so well thought out by providing more than 180-degree views of the breath-taking views of the Sedona Red Rocks, options for covered and uncovered ceremony space, cocktail areas, and a reception area that allows for great views. We saw a handful of other venue options in Sedona as we were planning for our wedding and this was the only space that checked all the boxes regarding convenient location next to a great hotel, a well maintained space with indoor and outdoor options, and views of the Red Rocks regardless of where you were standing during the ceremony or reception.The team's thoughtfulness and attention to detail shows through in their communication, execution and follow-up. I appreciated how accommodating they were throughout the whole process and I could not have asked for a better place to show off Sedona's enchantment, celebrate with my family and friends, and commit myself to my true love.

Beautiful and speechless venue!We got married on 9/7/19 and we are happy to have chosen agave of Sedona. Wendy the venue coordinator was very pleasant to work with. She was quick with your responses and was accommodating to our needs. The only minor issue was hiring vendors because the venue cost did not include them. Therefore, the price was a little high, however it was well worth it. We had 130 guests and the venue accommodated everyone perfectly. Nobody complained of lack of space during the reception. The view of the ceremony was amazing. Luckily the weather was cool and cloudy, providing shade the whole time. Overall, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was GREAT. We would highly recommend future couples this venue. Thank you Wendy.

Therefore, the price was a little high, however it was well worth it. We had 130 guests and the venue accommodated everyone perfectly. Nobody complained of lack of space during the reception. The view of the ceremony was amazing. Luckily the weather was cool and cloudy, providing shade the whole time. Overall, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was GREAT. We would highly recommend future couples this venue. Thank you Wendy.

They were always willing to adjust timelines for rehearsal events when possible and made sure that we were on track for the big day. Not only was Wendy and her team great to work with but the venue itself was breathtaking. My wife and I went to practically every venue in Sedona and couldn't find another location that was comparable not only for the price but for the views and atmosphere. We were one of the first weddings in the new space and we were blown away with the updates. Our guests are still talking about it and continue to rave about the venue. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is wanting to have a Sedona wedding with red rock views and a great indoor reception and bar space.

We had our ceremony and venue at Agave on 6/2/18 and it was AMAZING. We got the Signature Package and it was worth every penny. People may be sticker shocked about the price but it is very comparable to other venues in the area but 100% better. We had no confusion about what was in the contract and what services/rentals were offered/what we needed. The vendor list they have is top notch and we were pleased with every vendor that we used. We looked at many venues in Sedona and this one is the most updated than many of the other places we went. The views are amazing. The indoors are beautiful. Because the venue is so beautiful, I was able to do minimal decorations/flowers because you don't really need it -- this helped save on costs. Same with the BYO alcohol which was perfect. Wendy was very accommodating with our rehearsal the day before and with extending our reception last minute. Her and her staff as well as our vendors kept the timeline going and fed our guests their salads while we were delayed getting sunset photos. Many of our guests said this was the most beautiful venue they have been to and I agree! I wish I could have another event here in the future and I would not hesitate to have my wedding here all over again. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

While this venue is beautiful we really did not have a good experience with them. There are rules on top of rules and fees on top of fees. It ends up being very over priced for what you get. I was told I had to pay an additional $500 or so to put in a dance floor to accommodate 100 guests 2 weeks before the wedding. We also had to provide all of the sounds equipment, including speakers as nothing is provided here. This is a very do it yourself venue so unless you are a really good planner or have one I wouldnt suggest it. The woman who manages the venue was not very friendly and we felt like every time we came to her with a question before the wedding she was annoyed and told us to refer to the contract. Read your contract very carefully and make sure your planner knows all the details such as table sizes/shapes, ask every question you can think of. You also have to pay the manager a service fee as she is there the day of to make sure things run smooth. We honestly didnt see her at all, if she was there she didnt even come up and say hello.We had a great time being with our friends and family but in hindsight wish we would have chosen a more relaxed, friendly, and affordable reception venue.

Engaged couples!!! Get married at Agave of Sedona with Wendy and her incredible staff!!! I am still on cloud nine! It was an absolute fairy tale because of Agave of Sedona!! We saw 7 venues in Sedona and when we toured Agave, we knew immediately that this was the place for us. It was worth every penny!! Every detail about this place is magnificent. We worked with Wendy from day one, and she went above and beyond making my husband and I feel comfortable and ready for the big day for the entire 10 months we planned it from afar in NYC. She answered every email in the snap of a finger, thoughtfully and thoroughly (and we had a lot of questions haha thank you Wendy šš) and spoke with me on the phone when we needed to really iron out details. She is like super woman. If there was an issue, it was solved, if we wanted an opinion about something, she gave it like a pro. She accommodated so many things we asked for, guided us every single step of the way, and was sweet as pie. I truly cannot say enough about Wendy and the passion, dedication, and kindness she put into our wedding. She also was there for our rehearsal the day before, and most of the day of the wedding, overseeing decor and vendors, and being there for anything we needed. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without here, truly. Now for the venue. I don't even know what to truly say other than that it is perfect in every way. We got married in the main ceremony space with the red rocks in the background and our guests from all over the country freaked out it was so gorgeous. The venue is a one stop shop for your event and it was perfect that way. Once the ceremony finished, our guests moved to the covered section of the outdoor space for cocktails and enjoyed cocktail hour mingling and taking photos with the red rocks and beautiful iron details of the space. From cocktail hour, the doors to the indoor space opened and we partied the night away going back and forth from inside to outside and it was magical. Agave is the perfect place to get married and if I did it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Other things to note: The Bridal room is beautiful and comfy and I had the best time wth my girls in there before and after the ceremony. The photo ops on this property are endless. We had our guests stay at the Best Western next door which is separated from Agave by a little gate they open the day of, which I HIGHLY recommend. Agave allows you to provide your own alcohol (with a liscenced bartender to serve) and it saved us SO much money.

We got married at Agave on 10/1/16 and it was amazing. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and is very tastefully decorated with vases, candles and lanterns. There's also multiple places for small groups to break away for more intimate conversation (bistro tables, the man cave, a front sitting lounge). Wendy is amazingly easy to work with and reached out multiple times to confirm small details were correct. Her and her assistant Terri really ensured our rehearsal and wedding went smoothly. She even floofed my dress right before I walked down the aisle.My husband and I toured four other venues in Sedona and Oak Creek back in 2015, picking Agave of Sedona was absolutely the right choice. I can't imagine our wedding being this perfect anywhere else.In response to the 8/2015 review, I want to add that the ceremony chair rental cost ($3/chair) was made clear to us as soon as we started discussing packages with Wendy back in October 2015. Maybe it wasn't made clear in the past, but the packaging tiers that we were shown were straight forward about what was and wasn't included. They also upgraded their reception chairs to Chiavari chairs about three months before our wedding, so gaudy conference room chairs didn't blemish our photos. There's also multiple places for small groups to break away for more intimate conversation (bistro tables, the man cave, a front sitting lounge). Wendy is amazingly easy to work with and reached out multiple times to confirm small details were correct. Her and her assistant Terri really ensured our rehearsal and wedding went smoothly. She even floofed my dress right before I walked down the aisle.My husband and I toured four other venues in Sedona and Oak Creek back in 2015, picking Agave of Sedona was absolutely the right choice. I can't imagine our wedding being this perfect anywhere else.In response to the 8/2015 review, I want to add that the ceremony chair rental cost ($3/chair) was made clear to us as soon as we started discussing packages with Wendy back in October 2015. Maybe it wasn't made clear in the past, but the packaging tiers that we were shown were straight forward about what was and wasn't included. They also upgraded their reception chairs to Chiavari chairs about three months before our wedding, so gaudy conference room chairs didn't blemish our photos. The Agave of Sedona was the location we choose for both our ceremony and our reception. It was an absolutely beautiful venue. The ceremony was outside on their terrace and the reception was inside with the big glass windows over looking the red rocks. The venue itself was nicely located for the guests to stay at the Best Western Plus Inne of Sedona. The ability to self provide alcohol was a big bonus since we wanted specific wine that is not readily available at most venues. \rAs our wedding started to get closer there were number of issues that arose, as is typical with most weddings. Unfortunately the Agave manager Wendy was not warm and helpful in dealing with those issues. For example once issue that arose was the venue requires you to use their plate and glassware, however they neglected to inform us that they don't have drink glasses, they only had wine and water glasses. I think Wendy had purchased the ugliest chairs possible to require us to rent chair covers through her. Another item that wasn't a big deal but was aggravating was that the wedding package we purchased included a tea party (which I was very excited about and was wonderful). Wendy charged us tax and gratuity on the entire wedding package (which included the cost of the tea party), however she then expected us to pay tax and gratuity to the team hosting the tea party. After a bit of back and forth she agreed to pay the tax for the tea party and we still had to pay gratuity to the tea party team. It wasn't a big deal, but we were still being double charged. As the wedding planning continued there were a number of charges typically in $300 increments that had to be made as more and more items that were required (such as ceremony chairs) were brought to light as not being included in the 'all inclusive' package. We could have done a better job double checking up front, but you expect chairs to be included in an 'all inclusive' package. There were a consistent stream of minor issues as the wedding got closer that made it more and more challenging to work with Wendy. I was very thankful that I had help and they were willing to work with Wendy to make the wedding day run smoothly.\rIn conclusion this venue was great for both the ceremony and reception, but the service could be improved upon.
