The Agave Ballroom at Rio
The Agave Room is a spacious, historic ballroom located in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins. Built in 1901, this storybook setting with distinctive architecture, is stunning and provides a majestic backdrop to any event you may want to hold. The ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors, large windows, a suspended balcony, along with 25-foot high ceilings. The Agave Room occupies the entire 2nd Floor of the infamous Rio Grande Building with a private entrance and stairway to the ballroom. It provides a unique wedding venue that will allow you to create memories to last a lifetime. In addition, it is an ideal space for receptions, holiday parties, corporate events, Quinceañeras, employee recognition evenings, fundraisers, casino events, birthday and anniversary parties.

The Agave room was very flexible in scheduling us and working with us if we needed to make changes. The food was great, especially the enchiladas. The space was nice and perfect for what we needed. We felt we got great value booking them for our wedding reception.

Everything went absolutely perfect! They had all the essentials, tables, napkins, table cloths, plates, and silverware included! Staff was amazing and helpful and very easy to communicate with about any needs. We also got their catering services and drinks. We highly recommend this place!

This venue is PERFECT for the couple looking to have a wonderful night without the expense of a traditional wedding. The venue is amazing to work with - Melissa and her team are event professionals and will help you make your wedding the event of your dreams. We had a 50 person wedding, so we were able to use one space as the reception, and one space as the ceremony. It was PERFECT. The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and the price is just right. I would not change A THING about the venue or how we set it up - it was absolutely perfect.

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at the Agave Room and it was fantastic! The room is already beautifully decorated but we added our own decorations in addition to them with no problem, Melissa was very accommodating. I was so happy to show up to our reception and see that everything was flowing smoothly and all of our guests were being taken care of. The staff was fantastic. Everything was better than what we envisioned! Thank you all so much ❤️

My wife and I love the Rio and could not think of our special day without Rio Margs and delicious Tex-Mex.We had almost 200 guests and the space fit us perfectly. The staff was amazing at handling our special requests. We were able to smoothly shift from sit-down dinner to an all out dance party. The facility has classic charm and lots of natural light. Other than the choice of my bride to drink Strawberry Margaritas in a white dress, the evening could not have gone better! Having your reception in Old Town Fort Collins is great, and the Rio is the best venue you can ask for.

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Agave Room and it was AMAZING! The room is beautiful with perfect floors for dancing, no need to decorate other than the center pieces. The staff was fun and definitely added to the already fun vibes. The Fajitas buffet was a huge hit with everyone including the more picky eaters. Also, nothing says a party like the world famous Rio Margaritas!!! It was a perfect location for our out of town guests as well, right down town close to two hotels as well as the Max line. I would highly recommend the Agave Room for any event, they have a cool setup so you can rent out half the space or the whole thing.
