The Ahavah Cottage is a luxurious wedding venue located in Elysian, MN, an hour's drive south of Minneapolis. This exclusive and high-class event space boasts a serene countryside setting with breathtaking views, charming decors, and ample photo opportunities. Couples can surround themselves in rustic elegance, making their vows in a wooded clearing before enjoying a night of dinner and dancing in the contemporary cottage. The purpose-built cottage venue is beautifully designed with log-effect cladding and a striking white and black color scheme. The stark outline of the building contrasts with the rich, green verdure of the surrounding nature, creating an unforgettable impression on couples and their guests. Inside, a vaulted ceiling and an abundance of floor space create a bright and airy atmosphere for wedding receptions. Guests can take a stroll outside in the flower garden or catch their breath on the patio area between dance numbers. Packages include linens, tables, chairs, and parking. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Working with the venue manager, Tamara, the bartenders and the owners Jacob & Leslie was just absolutely amazing! They were all very tentative, helpful and answered all of our questions before and after our wedding. I would say that anyone looking for a wedding venue or a venue in general, to look at Ahavah!They include tables, chairs and linens in the rental price, which was a great saved expense. They also have different decor that you can rent from them. They supply the alcohol for the evening, if you want that, and you can completely customize all of it! They also offer different food & drink packages for the morning of as you’re getting ready. Their offerings are plenty and I would say very affordable! And their bar tenders are so fun & sweet!They keep the grounds very clean and presentable. The patio was a hit for us. Everyone was hanging outside by the fire pits and standing heaters. And these items were no additional cost to us. They are very upfront with pricing and have no hidden fees! There is so much more included with the venue that I didn’t get to, but I recommend Ahavah to everyone! The only 2 down sides are their bathrooms are pretty small, so the bathroom lines can become very long throughout the night. And you don’t have access to the venue until 10am unless you pay a decent amount of money to get in earlier.

We had an outdoor ceremony in June and we were so happy with how everything went. The ceremony space was beautiful, and the indoor reception area just works so well for a nice dinner and fun dance floor! We have gotten so many compliments on the venue from our guests since our wedding day. The addition of having an indoor ceremony space is such a great bonus for peace of mind in case of bad weather! Working with Leslie, Jacob, and Jordan was awesome. They were so quick and responsive with any questions that we had and willing to work with us on everything that we needed! We couldn’t have been happier with the space and will continue to recommend the Ahavah Cottage to our family and friends!

From the day we booked Ahavah, the demeanor and professionalism of its owners, Leslie and Jacob, were tops. We booked early this spring when the venue was in its renovation stage. We were drawn in by the work that had been done and the vision that was explained. The finished product was even better than we could have envisioned!The very special part of Ahavah is the singleness of the venue. Everything that had been planned made my bride and our covenant the true center of attention. I can not overemphasize how this venue's tasteful details such as the ceremony space, cocktail hour with canoe full of iced drinks, spread out visiting areas and charming patio that doubled as a dance floor made the day so special and memorable to everyone.I'll never forget when the double doors were opened and my future wife cam walking down the isle toward me.Thank you Jacob and Leslie for your vision and tender hearts...

Our guests-and even our other vendors-were \"wow\"ed by this venue! It was exactly what we wanted-an outdoor ceremony with a beautiful backdrop, a reception and dance that was formal enough for a sit-down dinner and informal enough that our guests played corn hole, sat by the fire pit, danced on the patio, and sat around and chatted all night. A perfect night!

We had an outdoor ceremony, indoor dinner, and outdoor dance floor at Ahavah in June and it was beautiful. Leslie and Jacob did an incredible job creating the venue that it is. We loved the outdoor dance floor, it made it different and so fun. There is lots of space outside to spread out for people to visit and play games, which made it so fun for the kids too. It was a beautiful venue that gave us the outdoor vibes that we were looking for!

She is an aesthetic nurse and thrives on creating experiences for people. Jacob has a construction background and can make visions come to life. This dynamic duo compliment each other to bring out their best. They are driven and passionare about the new venue.
