aKa Stables is a farm wedding venue located in Cordell, OK. Sitting on five acres, it offers a contemporary, country-style approach to wedding ceremonies and receptions. An equine facility, with a guest capacity of 250, Aka Stables offers a 10,000 square-foot covered arena, perfect for large receptions. Seven can sleep in the upscale barn loft with a full-service kitchen, living area, and bathroom with an upper sleeping area. The barn also has a bathroom and kitchen in its working stables. The luxury lodgings are decorated in beautiful rich dark wood and earthy tones. The local area offers a long list of popular attractions, including Washita Theater on Cordell's historic square and various hunting and fishing opportunities. Choose from the high or low-season packages with add-on services, including a day-of coordinator, a month-of planning service, and custom event design and setup. The loft can be rented on a full or half-day basis with the option of additional overnight stays. Other add-ons include a catered meal service with loft delivery, champagne or wine upon request, in-loft massages and flowers, fruit baskets and special menu items. We are a family-owned and operated wedding and event venue in Western Oklahoma. AKa Stables was built in 2008 as an equine facility for the Kliewer daughters, who showed American Quarter Horses throughout their childhood. After leaving for college, aKa Stables functioned as an event venue. Since then, the Kliewer family has been dedicated to expanding the facility into a rustic, yet upscale, destination for various events. As our guest, it is our goal to make you feel like family, as well.
