Honestly, do yourself a favor and get married at Aldrich. I cannot sing the praises of Aldrich Mansion enough! Even before the wedding, the level of helpfulness, organization, and professionalism was outstanding. Tony, their event coordinator, was so easy to work with and got back to me so quickly on questions big and small. Tony helped us with so much, including coordinating the church documents so we could get married with our priest in the chapel (which is absolutely gorgeous and according to our photographer is dream to take photos in!) Chef Al was great to work with and the food was absolutely amazing - several of our guests said that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We went with the sirloin and the baked haddock which were both so fantastic, and the apps! Incredible! Cheg Al also let us bring some outside cultural desserts for our families and even worked with us to have pizza for our guests near the end of the night! We saved a ton of money by being able to bring our own alcohol, and the bartenders did a great job with our signature drinks. The staff both during the rehearsal dinner and the day of our wedding was so absolutely amazing - the day ran perfectly on time, they coordinated with our vendors perfectly, and they went above and beyond several times (most notably with my shoes - I asked our attendant if she could grab my sneakers upstairs in the bridal suite so I could change out of my heels and she not only did grab them, but also helped me take off my heels and put on the sneakers which in a wedding dress is harder than it seems!). We had plenty of room for dancing in the gorgeous foyer, and people LOVED the dessert room and the bar in the library. Zero notes. Zero complaints. Absolutely perfect day at the perfect venue. If you want a stress-free, gorgeous wedding that you and your guests will remember, you must choose Aldrich. When I brought my then fiance and our family to tour the venue, all of our jaws DROPPED. It is truly an amazing site. From starting the planning process, to questions about each and every detail, to day of logistics, Tony and his team were more than willing to call, email, and meet in person to help me and my now-husband plan our perfect day. I would get pretty stressed about details, but Tony was always willing to take the time and help me work through my thoughts despite my busy schedule. Even the food tasting for wedding day great, thanks to Tony and Chef Al. They both sit down with you, talk about what you liked/didn't like, your vision, and help you make it come to life. They walk you through everything you need to bring, what papers to sign, etc. It was so stress free, all thanks to the entire Aldrich team. Not to mention, the venue is timeliness, classy, and has plenty of space outside and inside for guests. We used the Catholic chapel onsite, which was beautiful and a convenient one minute walk for guests to cocktail hour/reception. All in all, 11/10 reception venue and team that our guests continue to rave about a month after our wedding. Reviewed on 16-06-2023

The team there is incredible and I truly cannot say enough good things about Tony and Chef Al. They deftly navigated our year long postponement from October 2020 to November 2021. Tony is remarkably knowledgeable and has been doing weddings for a long time. His recommendations are spot on and he truly cares about his couples, their families, and the wedding they envision. We did a few unique things like dueling pianos for our music and no public cake cutting and Tony was supportive every step of the way. He answers questions patiently, always responds promptly, and is extremely accommodating. The food at our wedding was incredible. We have guests, seven months later, who still talk about the dessert room as the best thing they have ever seen at a wedding. Chef Al is also extremely knowledgeable and all his suggestions that he offered us were excellent. Amy and Jackie were our attendants throughout the evening and they were so helpful to us and our families. We actually got to enjoy Chef Al's delicious meal and spend time together as a couple thanks to their excellent work. One of the best things about Aldrich Mansion is not having to worry about securing catering, tables, chairs, and all the extras. Everything is included and you simply have to pick out your choices. This removes so much stress! We also had our mass at the chapel next door and it was so easy and convenient, especially for our elderly guests, to move a few hundred feet away for the cocktail hour and reception with no time gap. There is also a Catholic chapel right on the property for Catholic ceremonies so that guests can walk right over to the mansion after the ceremony for the cocktail hour and dinner. Tony Maggiacomo, the event coordinator for the Aldrich, was professional, very responsive and obviously very experienced in event planning. Every email we sent him received a response within the next day or two, which my fiancee and I found very reassuring. Three unique things about this venue that I absolutely have to highlight: (1) the venue provides access to AllSeated, a digital seating chart platform that made our lives easy for this part of wedding planning. We had our seating chart done in less than 48 hours! I have heard stories from other brides about how painful this process was for them; (2) the dessert room! You have to do it!! It was the highlight for most of our guests, and we're still hearing about it! It also means that you don't have to separately order a wedding cake as this is part of the package; (3) the mansion does not have a liquor license and allows the hosts to procure their own alcohol for the event. We were able to get alcohol at a third of the cost it would have cost us elsewhere, and so we had open bar for our wedding. You can't beat that! I cannot give high enough praise to the Aldrich Mansion and the entire staff! They see to absolutely every detail, and make everything run very smoothly on your wedding day. Tony, Aldrich's event planner, will work tirelessly to ensure that you get exactly what you want for your special day. The day of my wedding was an absolute monsoon... pouring rain and extremely windy. But, as soon as I got inside Aldrich Mansion, I actually forgot about the weather completely. This is because I had my wedding mass at the gorgeous onsite chapel, and once we got inside we were able to stay inside for the entirety of the day. While this may not seem like a big thing, it most definitely was!! Had I been forced to walk outside in my dress either enroute to mass, or enroute to the reception, it would have been ruined in the mud of that stormy day (plus my hair would have taken a beating). Instead, I was in the comfortable, visually stunning, and DRY Aldrich chapel and mansion all day. The mansion and chapel also provide wonderful photo settings if you cannot be outside due to weather. I think I like my indoor pictures better than I would have if they were taken outdoors! Also a note to folks considering a holiday season wedding... no one decorates like the Aldrich Mansion! My wedding was a few days after Christmas, and the decor could only be described as magical. And don't get me started on the food... it is absolutely delicious, and they give large dinner portions. The divided ballrooms actually worked really well, we had 100 in each divided by family and everyone loved the different rooms. We had a February wedding, and it was a fairytale. Getting married onsite at the chapel is so convenient and gorgeous, the guests loved walking right into cocktail with the views! Kristen Pinksten(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-10-2017 Aldrich Mansion is a dream of a wedding venue and has a wonderful team to support you throughout the planning process. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, and you actually host your event in the mansion as opposed to in a tent on the lawn like many other RI historical estates/mansions. The planning coordinator (Tony) and day-of wedding coordinator team are professional, responsive, and in short - pros. They've done this before and are excellent at taking care of you throughout the process. The food is excellent and the dessert room is a crowd pleaser. We had guests stay in Providence, which created a bit of a drive to the venue via provided buses, but offered a nicer selection of hotels and more things to do for out-of-town guests than Warwick (in our opinion). Highly recommend Aldrich Mansion and the chapel to any couple looking for a stand-out venue with excellent service! Reviewed on 21-11-2017

Our guests were enamored from the second they walked into the chapel. The detail and elegance in the mansion is like no place else and it was great for our smaller, intimate reception (we closed off the second dining room for the night). To be honest, as a wedding venue, I think Aldrich blows those Newport mansions out of the water..Anyway, the food was AMAZING. I think we will be returning yearly for Christmas dinner. One month later, we were touring Wedding Venues and when we went to Aldrich Mansion, we knew that it was the right fit for our Wedding! We had about 160 people in August 2016, and our guests are still raving about the venue, view, and food! We had people of all ages and from all over the world on Our Big Day, and everyone just was so happy and comfortable at Aldrich Mansion.Aldrich is an extremely elegant venue, and one that makes you feel like your Wedding Day is truly a fairytale. We had the most beautiful weather in August and our guests were able to stroll on the lawn, sip cocktails on the patio, or wander around the rooms inside while the jazz band played outdoors. I think that one thing that sets Aldrich apart is that all of our guests had their own experience and they could do what they liked as far as where they spent their time during our Reception: the bar room, the patio and lawn, the dance floor, or the sitting rooms. We had many guests with many different tastes and food allergies and Aldrich was so accommodating with the choices! We loved our time spent with Chef Al and Tony- they are truly experts and professionals!! The staff is a joy to work with and so much of our year and a half of planning was made easier and more simple thanks to the Aldrich staff. As a Bride, I really didn't have to worry about anything on the Day, and that is an amazing feeling! If you are wondering, the Dessert Room is a MUST! We kept it a surprise for our guests, and they really, really loved it! All in all, it was the most spectacular day we ever could have asked for, and Aldrich played such a big part in making our wedding day dreams come true! Thank you especially to Tony, Chef Al, and the entire Aldrich Mansion staff! We will re-play all of the memories of our happy day at Aldrich Mansion forever. Fasha Onorato(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-11-2016 I do not even know where to begin with this review because everything was OUTSTANDING for our wedding this month!!!! If I could give this place a million stars I would, that is how amazing our wedding was. First of all, my husband and I were on a strict budget and the Aldrich Mansion worked with us to achieve our dream wedding without having to sacrifice major items we wanted. Second of all, Tony the event manager is INCREDIBLE. I would love to put him in my pocket and take him everywhere with me to plan out my life. These people here know how to plan and run an event. I plan events for my job all the time and I was worried that because we did not have a wedding planner that I was going to be doing a lot of work during our wedding. Not with the Aldrich Mansion!!!! They literally are on point, they know everything and execute to the highest level. I did my own decorations and centerpieces, I took pictures and sent them to Tony and him and his staff put together everything exactly how we envisioned our wedding. I just couldn't believe I didn't have to do anything or look at a clock or what not. Two hostesses during your event will keep you on track of time and make sure you stay to the schedule you plan out with Tony and Chef Al beforehand. And yes you read that right, Chef Al helps plan the schedule! He is truly amazing as well - what an amazing chef. People keep contacting us letting us know how amazing our food was which is saying a lot seeing how we all know wedding food is usually just ehh. Chef Al is very particular about his work so he wants to work with you. I said people had nut allergies, dairy allergies, etc and he was so accommodating. Also, we wanted to do signature drinks and they went above and beyond for that too - when I walked in after our ceremony I saw my Carver cranberries beautifully strewn throughout champagne and perfectly place sugar cubed for my husband's old fashioned. I want to go back to the mansion every weekend for an event. They have kept this place in such pristine condition - when you walk in you think WOW - and that is what sold us and that is what our guests said when they arrived. It literally was a fairy tale wedding!!!! Nothing went wrong - crazy right? They keep in touch with your other vendors, all you have to do is fill out their contact sheet and then your golden. Easy peasy. Thank you Aldrich Mansion (Tony and staff) for your amazing work, you really made our dream become a reality and for that we are forever thankful!!!!! Reviewed on 16-11-2016
Shannon R(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2016 Working with Aldrich to bring our wedding vision to life was an absolute dream. The venue itself is amazing, and the team we worked with was incredible. The mansion and grounds are stunning, and the chapel couldn’t be more convenient. The library, dessert room, grand foyer, and grounds are truly one of a kind and unforgettable. The dressing areas and private bathroom upstairs are pretty and convenient. The lower floor has AC which is extremely rare for mansion venues, and it is one of the few options for an indoor, seated dinner for 230+ in this setting on the east coast. We booked more than a year and a half out, and from day one until our wedding day (and even months after) our venue coordinator Tony and the entire team at Aldrich went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was accommodated and every expectation was surpassed. Tony was available, a great communicator, warm, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to bring our vision to life. He accommodated multiple visits and special requests and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and month of planner to coordinate a very detailed event. Chef Al was equally great to work with, taking the time to review all of our menu and cake details, again accommodating multiple special requests and always greeting us with a smile and great sense of humor. His food is delicious and our guests are still complimenting the lobster bisque and tenderloin. Along with the lovely and helpful hostesses, Tony, Chef Al, and team were extremely helpful and attentive on our wedding day, and the entire staff and operation was extremely professional and efficient.Aldrich was truly made for fairytale weddings and I could not recommend it more. Amanda Parker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-05-2016 I cannot recommend this venue enough!! We absolutely LOVED our reception at the Aldrich Mansion. First- the mansion is absolutely breathtaking. It is elegant, gorgeous and also so unique! They only host one wedding per day, so we had the entire mansion to ourselves. We had a long reception- 6 hours! of awesomeness- and rather than being stuck in one banquet hall like other weddings, our guests could wander through the lounge, dining rooms, patio, library, waterfront, etc. We were a little nervous about it having two dining rooms, but it wasn't an issue at all. You just do things a little out of order (toasts and first dance immediately after the entrance, rather than once guests are seated), but the hostess ensures all the scheduling and transitions go smoothly, so we never worried about it. The library was straight out of Beauty & the Beast, I was in love. Second- Tony and the Aldrich staff were amazing. We felt like we were the only wedding they were hosting! Tony responded to all of our emails within a few hours and was incredibly accommodating when we were running late for appointments. Over the entire year+ of our wedding planning, he was so helpful and patient when we stressed about little details- there was no dumb question. And on the day of, they treated us like royalty and everything went perfectly (or if it didn't, we never knew!). Third- the food was to die for. The dessert room blew our guests away! We are going back to Aldrich for their Christmas dinner just so we can have their food again. And lastly- price. For the size of our wedding (200 people), this was the most inexpensive venue we could find! Which was amazing, because it was also our favorite. I would highly recommend the Elizabethan package. We also saved so much money with it being BYOB, something most venues do not offer. The night was amazing and we wouldn't trade picking Aldrich as our venue.\r\rThe planning process, however, was tough at times (this coming from a low maintenance bride). The staff was a bit rude at several points in the planning process, and overall not very accommodating. Chef Al is a sweetheart and extremely accommodating, he took the time to discuss our needs and arrange a menu to fit that. John, the Director, is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with in any professional setting ever. However, Gloria one of the directors was not just rude, but also ignored and humiliated my mother and father, and other family members who were helping with the wedding. Erica Mandeville(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-11-2011 The Aldrich Mansion is a fairytale wedding site! The food was phenominal and the service was amazing. The staff there caters to you from start to finish. I went to the food tasting there and di not want anything on the menu so I met with the chef and he custom made a seafood dish that was to die for! I could not be more impressed by the Aldrich. My only advice to brides is to take pictures before the wedding ceremony if you have your ceremony at the OLP Center. Because of the fact that the church is on site, your wedding goes from ceremony to reception quite quickly and you have little time for pictures in between. We had an hour before the ceremony pictures taken, and it still did not seem enough. Reviewed on 29-11-2011
Katie Scally(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2011 I think that our family and friends will be talking about this amazing event at this amazing venue for years to come! Both my husband and I fell in love with this venue within a minute of steping inside - the chapel, the grounds, the ceiling in the foyer are so impressive. seeing the mansion come alive with the wedding guests is so surreal and felt like a fairy-tale evening. the timeline of the night ran perfectly smooth and on-time. the waitstaff was phenomenal and cater to your every need. the chef did an amazing job accommodating our budget and the 6 hr reception time works out perfectly. \r\rthe best thing was after our ceremony in the chapel (it was 90 degrees outside) the guests were able to walk directly into the mansion where ice water and signature cocktails were handed out to them immediately. Being able to bring in your own alcohol is a huge cost savings and you have the ability to tailor your bar menu to what your guests like. Our wedding photos from around the grounds and inside the mansion came out amazing.\rWe feel so lucky to have had our wedding at the Aldrich. We wish we could go back for another event - so yes, I highly recommend this venue. But once you go for a tour you won't need much convincing, trust me. Reviewed on 01-11-2011

Amy Fredericks(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2011 We had our wedding at the Aldrich on 9/10/11, and it was amazing.\rVenue location: Warwick was perfect for us. We toured several venues, and our final decision came down to the Aldrich vs. Oceancliff in Newport. For us, the Aldrich won out because there was no event minimum, and we liked that Warwick was away from the hustle and bustle of Newport. We also loved the mansion feel. We had a lot of out of town guests, and I didn't want them to be overwhelmed getting in and out of Newport. I also didn't want them to pay too much for accommodations. We had a room block at the Crowne Plaza Warwick, which was only 15 minutes away, for $119/night, with a hot breakfast buffet included. In addition, we booked a coach bus through Fisher Bus Company for our guests between the hotel and the mansion, and it worked out great.\rVenue style: We were worried that the two dining rooms and lack of designated dance floor might be issues with how the night went, but I have to say, we think we prefer the two separate dining rooms and would recommend that it's not a con, but rather a pro for the venue. We sat our families in one dining room, and our friends in the other. It was perfect because the older folks got to sit and eat their dinner in a relatively quiet setting, while our friends could get as rowdy as they wanted in the other room. The venue did a great job of escorting us from eating our soup/salad in one room to dinner in the other room. I think that both rooms felt like we spent enough time with them. As for the dance floor, no one seemed to care that it was in the foyer of the mansion. People were dancing all night. \rFood: The food was amazing. People keep telling me that the food was the best they've had at a wedding, and we have to agree. The lobster bisque was amazing-- Chef Al did not skimp on the lobster! The petite filets were perfectly cooked. Even the wedding cake was amazing, and I'm normally not a cake person. The only \"complaint\" I have is that we had the dessert room for $12.95/pp, and they ran out of bananas foster way too quickly. \rDecor: The ladies at the mansion set up everything perfectly. We didn't add much to the mansion since we thought it was gorgeous on its own, but we did have some personalized touches that they set up exactly as we discussed. In addition, online pictures of the mansion do not do it justice. It is a gorgeous venue, both inside and out. If you luck out with weather, you'll get to do your introductions, toasts, and first dance outside on the patio, which we loved. \rService: The ladies who run the mansion are truly amazing. They promptly responded to all my emails during the planning process. If they couldn't reach me by email, then they would call. In addition, the service on the day of the wedding was second to none. As the bride and groom, we had hostesses getting us drinks, telling us where to go, what to do next etc. all night long. Our guests were in awe of how smoothly everything ran. Little did they know that our wonderful hostesses were orchestrating everything behind the scenes.\rOther: I can't think of much else. The only real downside to the mansion is that it is expensive. You have to pay a flat fee ($8k as of 2011) to rent the property, which includes tables, chairs, and standard linens (which looked great to me!). The food bill, security detail, insurance and other expenses are in addition to the rental fee. \rBottom line: My husband and I loved the mansion, and we are so glad we chose it. The entire location is beautiful, with every backdrop imaginable for photos. We got married in the on-site chapel, which was so convenient for us and our guests. The food was great, everyone liked it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed how we transformed thier traditional dessert room into a candy buffet, complete with wedding cupcakes and a cotton candy machine (operated by a separate vendor). Our assistants the day of, made every effort to see that the day went smoothly, everything was on time and we were able to enjoy every moment without any stresses. Susan Berube(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-08-2008 My husband and I chose Aldrich for a few important reasons. (1) It has a Catholic chapel attached, so we were able to have our ceremony and reception in one location, which saved a bundle of time and money. (2) The on-site coordinators have a tremendous amount of experience. Even during a hurricane, the event ran seamlessly. (3) Location! The mansion, which is gorgeous on the inside (tough to tell on their website), also has beautiful grounds for photos and an outdoor cocktail reception. (4) Dessert buffet - if you really want to WOW your guests, spend the extra money and have the buffet. You won't regret it.\r\rDownsides: The in-house chef is less than spectacular. Nice man, but his creativity is limited. Food quality was not a priority for us, so if it is for you, don't choose Aldrich. They don't allow outside caterers. Reviewed on 28-06-2010
Jennifer Boucher(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-07-2008 Our wedding was held at the Aldrich Mansion back in July of 2008. Throughout the planning process the mansion staff was so wonderful and helpful. When it comes to the food, it was excellent. We went to a tasting a few months before the wedding and had a great time. We then met with the chef who helped customize our menu. He even added on an extra veggie at no cost to help make it a healthier meal. Everyone raved about the food. We were married at the OLP Chapel and thought it was wonderful. It was intimate yet unique. At the end of our service they rang the church bells, which was a nice surprise. Our reception at the mansion was wonderful and people still talk about it to this day. It was fantastic having the chapel and the mansion in one place to make things easier for the guests. They really know what they are doing here and everything ran very smooth. The couple of things that I would do differently would be to have a separate cake besides the one the mansion provides. I asked for no icing decorations and for the ribbon I provided to be placed at the bottom of each tier and the florist would decorate it with flowers. Instead, the cake had a bunch of icing designs and the ribbon was placed on top of it. Really not what I wanted. The flavor also wasn't what I had asked for. In addition, I wish I went with some decorative table cloths. While they provide ivory table cloths, I really wish I had gone with a decorative one for the little bit extra money it would have cost. You do have to bring in a bar tender and liquor company, but the ones that they work with and recommend were great. Overall, I would highly recommend the mansion and would love to go back there again for another wedding or event. The mansion itself was just so beautiful that it made for such a beautiful backdrop to the entire evening. Reviewed on 25-05-2010
