Alpaca Treehouse in the Bamboo Forest
Based in Atlanta, GA, Alpaca Treehouse, LLC is a wedding venue. We provide the most unique wedding venue in the world. We are in the City of Atlanta with a full farm featuring 3.5 acres, 4 alpacas, 4 llamas, and 2 guanacos (wild llamas), chickens, dogs, cats (indoors), bunnies, and an acre of lush tropical bamboo forest, a famous treehouse (we've done 3 Netflix shows, Animal Planet, CNN several times, and a host of other shows). Most couples choose to get married in front of our beautiful, dramatic treehouse, set right in the midst of the bamboo. The treehouse is an architectural gem, constructed of historic elements: stained glass, historic lighting, reclaimed trees, wood, cedar, and loads of doors, skylights, and character. The twinkle lights under the treehouse and throughout the space give everything a warm, magical glow at dusk and at night. There is nothing more magical than a violinist playing in the bamboo, whilst a couple walks down our stone path to the front of the treehouse. We also have a gorgeous event space we call the Bamboo Barn. The barn is 20x30 feet and comfortably seats 50 or more. Usually, for larger weddings, couples will set up high boy round tables outside of the barn so guests can sip and sup while watching the llamas and alpacas roam the space. We had a side deck with more twinkle lights that is the perfect set up for the bar area. As a benefit, we have two cottages on property: the Luxury Llama Cottage (sleeps 5) and the Llama Stay Farm Cottage (sleeps 7). Both have beautiful antiques, super comfortable beds and high thread count sheets, oak floors, and views of the llamas and alpacas. Brides often use the cottages to get ready on the big day.

We accidentally became a venue--that first wedding was so gorgeous, exotic, and intimate in the bamboo, in front of the glowing treehouse. Next thing you know, we were hosting lots of weddings, each one so unique and beautiful. It truly an organic evolution. It started with chickens and then we began rescuing chickens and then alpacas and llamas. Years later, we built the treehouse for personal use. The weddings have been such an honor and so absolutely amazing. I love that married couples report how years later, their guests are still talking about how it was the coolest wedding ever!
