The tropical court yard was a gorgeous venue for our reception. The staff was helpful and took care of everything including the setup and clean up. The wedding manager is super busy and hard to get a hold of to set up plans for the venue. Also, a room comes with the reception package and the hotel rooms are not very clean or high class.

The room was good but the food was cold. I wouldn't book it again. The director of sales was very rude to my family and friends during the event.

We chose to have our reception at the Ramada because we had a lot of out-of-town guests and we could reserve a block of rooms at the hotel. It was nice to take everything in to the Ramada the day before and come in to have it all set up for us - it looked gorgeous and I was very pleased with how everything at the reception looked. Karen, the event coordinator, was easy to work with and checked with me several times at the reception to make sure I was happy with how things were going. The only complaints I would have about the venue are that the food was just okay, and that the bar leaked all over the carpet in the foyer - so when I went to get a drink at the reception, the bottom of my dress got soaked! Overall we were pleased with the value compared to other local venues and the service was very good.

I LOVED our reception. It was beautiful, exactally what we had pictured, had a wonderful meal, and a fun time dancing with friends and family. Wait staff and bar staff was kind, fun, and efficient. \r\rWhat totally turned me off was the staff. There was a lovely lady I had met with when I put a deposit down the year before my reception, and sadly she had left a month before my wedding. I got stuck working with the sales director. Boy, was she RUDE! She was condiscending, and I think she tried to upet me. She made me feel as if everything I wanted was wrong or strange, and she tried to upsell things to me which I was not comfortable with. I feel I am a fairly easy person to work with, and she was rude to my mother, mother in law, the lady that made my cake, my grooms aunt, basically anyone in my family she had to deal with. \r\rAll in all, my advice would be...use this venue if she is no longer the Events Coordinator!!

They took care of setting up everything for the ceremony and reception. And this is one of the few places that doesn't charge to cut and serve your cake. They have a wedding/banquet coordinator on site who is a great help!
