Alyson’s Orchard, a country style wedding venue in Walpole, New Hampshire, is known for its unique 350-acre apple orchard and wedding facility. The orchard itself is rich in history and love! The Orchard originally created by the Jasse family back in 1980 grows some of the oldest apple and fruit trees in New England overlooking some of the greatest views imaginable. Facilities and Capacity Couples may host up to 225 wedding guests at Alyson’s Orchard. The large stunning reception hall located directly in the middle of the Orchard, is a great spot for those who wish to have an indoor wedding ceremony. There are also endless options of having your wedding ceremony outdoors at one of their four distinct and breathtaking wedding sites. Services Offered With three on-site lodging accommodations, 3 custom Glamping sites coming spring 2023, a restored 1860’s farmhouse and a rustic Lodge, there is ample space for your wedding party, as well as close family & friends, to stay for the weekend. My husband and I had the best experience having our wedding at Alyson’s Orchard. On our first visit there, the venue coordinator, Fran, showed us around and gave us all of the information we needed. After meeting her, we knew we wanted to work with her. She was so helpful, nice, welcoming, and knew everything about weddings. Along the way, she helped us plan our entire wedding. I was able to go to her with any question or problem and she fixed it instantly. She was always available and responded right away. She was also very helpful in making my vision come to life. Anything I wanted to do at the venue, she helped me with and made accommodations for it. Since our wedding, every person has talked about how amazing Alyson’s was. It was beyond beautiful and so fun to have a wedding at. For the wedding party, the lodging is so much fun to have a nice weekend away! Our entire wedding party loved staying at the lodges together and spending the whole weekend celebrating my husband and I. Having my wedding at Alyson’s Orchard was the best decision I ever made!! I can’t wait to go apple picking or have a picnic there each year to celebrate our marriage. It is nice to have a venue that you can go back to each year.

Our wedding on September 23 was an absolute dream at Alyson’s❤️. The new owners, Taylor and Adam have made several beautiful improvements to the property, including expanding the deck off of the reception hall and adding “glamping” sites on property so there is more space to stay on site for the wedding weekend. The space was beautiful, planning and communicating with the team was easy and smooth, and on the day, every staff member went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We had rain on the day and everyone was working hard to pĂvot our plans and make everything run smoothly, and it turned out there was a little bit of Alyson’s magic and we got our outdoor ceremony just like we wanted after all. I can not recommend Alysons orchard enough, we had such an incredible experience getting married here and we will continue to come back to the orchard for all of the other amazing things they offer!

Alyson’s Orchard has been a special place for my husband and I throughout our relationship. We knew we had to get married there and it did not disappoint. From our initial tour with Fran to coordinating with Kelly in the lead up to the day everything was what we hoped it would be and better! Kelly is an awesome coordinator who made us both feel at ease and answered every question quickly and professionally. The location could not be more beautiful and the venue has everything you’ll need for the day. There’s also lodging on property so your families can stay close by. Our wedding at Alyson’s was absolutely magical!

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Alyson's Orchard this past July.! Kelly, the event coordinator at Alyson's, was such a tremendous help, and always kind, responsive to questions, and eager to give helpful advice, and work with us to create the day we envisioned. She made all of our decision making so easy and simple, and was never judgemental if we were running a little behind on planning, or unsure what things would be looking like on the day itself (trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic left us a little frazzled!). We had originally planned and booked our wedding at Alyson's for October 2020, but earlier in the year, decided to postpone due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. Kelly was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout this process, and even gave us a discount on our new date for July 2021. She made shuffling things around a breeze, and was so compassionate and understanding throughout the process.We had planned a beautiful outdoor ceremony by the pond surrounded by trees to offer shade on a hot summer day, but Hurricane Elsa had other plans for us - we ended up having our ceremony indoors in the Orchard Room, but it was just as lovely as we could have wished for. The Orchard Room has beautiful, large, wall-to-wall windows, so event though we were inside out of the inclement weather, we were still able to take in all of the gorgeous views the entire time. We were also able to sneak outside for some beautiful photos when the weather had cleared up for a bit, taking advantage of the moody atmosphere of the storm clouds, and the lush greens of the orchard itself.We also rented all of the housing on the property for our wedding party and immediate family, which was wonderful, and worked out super well!

Alyson's Orchard is a dream spot. We held our winter wonderland wedding inside the orchard room on February 15, 2020 and couldn't have been happier with the day. It was a dream come true and working with Kelly was incredible! We highly recommend Alyson's and cannot wait to go back with our future family to pick apples and pumpkins and revisit our wedding spot year after year!

We had such a great experience working with Fran and Kelly! Fran was so responsive to all of our questions and met with us many times before the wedding to go over details. Kelly was our day-of coordinator and we couldn’t have asked for better! Alyson’s is a gorgeous venue, there are multiple different ceremony sites with beautiful views to choose from. The orchard room accommodated our 167 guests, but we could’ve used a bigger dance floor with the way everyone danced all night long! We had the best day of our lives and loved working with this staff. We would recommend Alyson’s orchard (and the town of Walpole) for anyone looking for a beautiful, scenic, rural, warm setting for their wedding day.

We chose Alyson's Orchard as our wedding location due to it's pure beauty! We greatly enjoyed working with Fran and Kelly to help plan the big day. Everyone was so helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries. The reception deck that overlooks the pond with the willow trees is simply stunning. Our guests loved having cocktail hour out there! The Orchard Room is perfect on its own but the magic that you can create by working with their recommended vendors (we worked with Holly Long of Naturally Elegant Designs) is other-worldly. What really sold us on Alyson's was the fact that the orchard is pet-friendly and even one of the lodges allows pets. We have a dog and it was important to us to have a place we could return to, stay at, and share in with our furry family member. We took a few days after the wedding to enjoy the grounds. We enjoyed lounging by Sarma's Pond (also where we were married). It was very special and will continue to be a sentimental spot for us as we can thrown down a picnic blanket and watch the sunset at the very spot we said, \"I do\". We highly recommend Alyson's Orchard for any event!

The off-season pricing was very fair, and included everything from the bartender to silverware to a dance floor. With no events in the time leading up to the big day, Fran graciously allowed us access to the venue 2 days before to start with flower arrangements (which we did ourselves). SOOOOO many of our guests comment about how it was the best wedding they have been to - and I can't help but agree! :) The grounds made for beautiful photos - even in the winter. Fran was so helpful, kind and enthusiastic throughout the planning process. The onsite lodging was beyond perfect. Excitement BUBBLES up out of me with the mention of Alyson's Orchard! I cannot recommend this wedding venue enough.I was also a bridesmaid at a May wedding last year. This wedding had the ceremony on site, which was complete with stunning mountain views and took place in front of a gorgeous little pond in the middle of the blooming apply blossoms. Any time of year, this venue is PERFECT. Book this venue and you will have the BEST DAY EVER!!! I promise!! :) Highly highly HIGHLY recommend.

Where do I begin?! I first found Alyson’s on the The Knot. The photos were enough for me to decide this was the place, but we still had to come by for a visit. We visited Alyson’s in June last year. We met with Fran and she was such a delight and extremely knowledgeable with everything wedding related! She gave us a tour and a packet filled with everything we would need to get started with planning our wedding at Alyson’s. Planning from California was certainly a challenge but Fran was there for us every step of the way! We also stayed at the Farmhouse during our wedding weekend, which was also amazing! We felt right at home as soon as we walked in! Our wedding day went off with no issues what so ever. Alyson’s, along with all the vendors (which are all listed on Alyson’s website) were wonderful in ensuring our day was perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone who is getting married. ALL the wedding sites are simply jaw dropping gorgeous but we went with Sarma’s Pond. I am beyond happy we chose to make Alyson’s the spot for our special day!

Alyson's is the absolute best! We had our wedding on September 7th and it was everything that we ever imagined! We had our ceremony down at Sarma's Pond and on a sunny day I don't think any location could beat it. It makes for awesome pictures, they catered to us with bringing food to the wedding site during pictures. The reception hall was just as beautiful, we had 170 people in the room and it didn't even seem packed. We could not be happier with our big day and Alyson's made it all happen, Fran is the best of the best at helping Plan!

Alyson's is a beautiful venue, and the on-site lodging was very convenient! Only bummer was a lack of communication when we arrived to set up the reception hall. No one knew where Fran was or what we should do which was a bit stressful. Luckily after about an hour we met up with Kelly who was fantastic! Not only did Kelly help with little questions and details, but she was the bartender for our wedding the next day and was still able to control the behind the scenes action on the wedding day without a hitch! It turned out Fran was sick (it happens!), but we are very thankful that Kelly was able to pick up the reins!

Alyson's Orchard was absolutely perfect for our wedding! The location is truly beautiful and our guests could not stop saying so. We had a breathtaking outdoor ceremony and a gorgeous reception inside the hall. The hall also served as a backup for the ceremony in case of rain which, thankfully, we did not need. Fran has great working relationships with the local vendors and every logistical aspect went over flawlessly. Alyson's also offers some fantastic on-site lodging where we and the wedding party stayed all weekend.. lots of fun! We would do it all over again at Alyson's without the slightest hesitation!

Alyson's Orchard was absolutely perfect for our wedding! The location is truly beautiful and our guests could not stop saying so. We had a breathtaking outdoor ceremony and a gorgeous reception inside the hall. The hall also served as a backup for the ceremony in case of rain which, thankfully, we did not need. Fran and her staff were nothing but extremely pleasant, organized and helpful throughout our entire planning process and on the day of. Alyson’s Orchard was the perfect venue for our September wedding. My husband and I are minimalists at heart so during our venue search we were looking for a place with such breathtaking beauty, minimal decorations would be required and Alyson’s was our place. With panoramic views from wherever you are in the orchard, our photographer captured some truly amazing shots. The reception hall was just as gorgeous, a post and beam design and a lit up back porch over looking a pond that our guests would not stop raving about. Alyson’s also has some lodging on site which we rented for labor day weekend. We were able to have all of our closest friends and family stay on site making this a weekend for the books. Fran, the event coordinator, was great in providing recommendations to vendors, ensuring we were on the ball, and was very flexible in our planning process. I would recommend this venue to anyone! Alyson's will always hold such a special place in our hearts, we will be sure to visit for apple picking every year!

As for the Orchard itself - it was BREATHTAKING. I'm still getting compliments from guests on how gorgeous of a venue it is! I couldn't think of a finer venue for our special day! When we set out to find our venue we only knew we wanted to have our wedding outdoors. After meeting Fran for the first time, we realized having the ceremony outside was the key for us, having the reception in an air conditioned hall was an even better idea in the heat of summer. From Fran's helpfulness throughout the entire process (we live out of town, and every recommendation Fran had for a vendor was spot-on) to the natural beauty of the orchard grounds, to the ease and affordability of the lodge and farmhouse accommodations -- we couldn't ask for more. It was a fantastic experience and everyone was so kind and helpful. We were even able to have our baker use the in-season fruit from the orchard for our dessert bar. There were so many little details that allowed us to customize our day and it really added up to a wedding weekend that was uniquely \"us.\"My favorite part is that we get to go back and visit Fran and the beautiful orchard in season. We just had our wedding at Alyson's and were so pleased with it! Cannot recommend Alyson's highly enough. We were drawn to Alyson's because of the gorgeous mountain views, the ponds (my now-husband loves to fish), and the on-site lodging options. Between Alyson's properties and the adjacent Inn at Valley Farms, we were able to have approximately 70 of our closest guests stay right on site, which really enhanced the feel of the weekend. It was great to have full run of the property for the weekend, including long walks around the property, lawn games, lots of fishing, and watching the animals. The property is stunning and extremely well cared for, and the views are breathtaking. I used the bridal room to get ready and have my hair and makeup done, and the reception was held in Roberts Hall. I loved having so much space and found the set up to be very convenient. Our friends and family were amazed by the views, and loved circulating from the reception to the porch to the lawn for games. Bring bug spray! Perhaps most importantly, the staff at Alyson's is INCREDIBLE. We did our planning with Fran, but due to illness Heidi actually covered for her, and Heidi was fantastic. She was so accommodating and a seasoned \"problem solver\" - exactly the kind of person you want to be working with on your wedding weekend! Everyone else at Alyson's was equally kind and accommodating, from Homer to Dominique to Tom and more. They each went the extra mile to offer us help and make our weekend stress free. I can't emphasize how much that type of care and support mattered to us. They are all terrific at their jobs and true professionals, and I can't thank them enough for the part they each played in making our wedding weekend an enjoyable one. Definitely recommend Alyson's for a beautiful and stress-free wedding!

Friday we held a BBQ at one of the lodges, Saturday we hiked, fished (outrageous fishing), and hung out at the orchard until our ceremony overlooking the farm land. That night we had a reception in the main venue (rustic, but modern appointments). Sunday, we had a breakup brunch outside in a nearby field. It was an amazing venue with a ton of activities for all of our guests.Also important to mention are the staff. Prior to the wedding, we worked with Fran Imhoff regarding the planning of our wedding. Fran was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and really helped to keep my fiancee and I at ease during the process of planning our wedding. Unfortunately, during the weekend of our wedding, Fran was very ill (but still encouraged us to reach out to her by cell phone if need be).We never needed to thanks to Heidi. Heidi is Fran's AMAZING assistant. She was positive, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. She helped to make our wedding an amazing experience and worked flawlessly with all of the other staff members (caterers, DJ, etc.) to make the wedding great. Also important to note are the grounds crew. Homer, Tom, and the rest of the support staff members set up chairs, speakers, water jugs, drove tractors for guests, set up boats, and everything in between with a smile on their face. We were honored to be taken out to our wedding site in a wagon driven by Tom (who donned a leather top hat for the occasion).I wish that I could express how amazing our experience at Alyson's was. We were looking for an outdoorsy wedding with a touch of more modern luxury for our guests. We found it. The venue and crew are amazing. We look forward to visiting both for many years to come.

Alyson's Orchard was just such a magical place to be married! It was love at first site when we visited the site for the first time. If you are looking for just awesome views over the Connecticut River Valley and a place with rustic charm this is the perfect venue. They have several beautiful ceremony sites outside and a lovely indoor reception hall. They also have on-site lodging with 3 houses so close relatives and friends can stay on site. We hosted the rehearsal dinner, after-part and brunch all here which made everything so much easier and it was so wonderful having the people that you love most so close for the weekend. Fran, the coordinator, was just amazing! She really knows her stuff when planning and organizing weddings and so we didn't even need to hire any sort of wedding planner or day of coordinator. She was terrific at getting us organizing and talking with our vendors. You can't ask for anyone with more warmth and friendless. Highly recommend Alyson's!! We loved it and look forward to going back to pick apples and visit the farm stand!

We recently had our wedding at Alyson's Orchard in July 2016. We could not have picked a better venue. The venue property is absolutely breathtaking! Which is what originally attracted us to the venue, and is what most people said they enjoyed the most about our wedding. This venue has beautiful views and landscapes. We were the only wedding for the entire weekend, which gave us complete privacy with all of our guests. We took advantage of the venue housing offered, which comes highly recommended! The venue housing gave us the ability to make our wedding a weekend event rather than just one day. We had a welcome BBQ right on the property and welcomed any guests to join, which was a great way for our guests to meet before the wedding and enjoy each others company throughout the weekend. Having the venue housing walking distance to the ceremony and reception was something that we would say was one of the best choices. Another perk to choosing Alyson's Orchard is having access to Fran, Alyson's wedding coordinator. She was wonderful at answering any and all of our many questions via phone and email. Since we were trying to plan a wedding from far away it was a challenge at times; however, with Fran answering our questions from the venue itself, we felt much more prepared. Our only suggestion would be plan a time to meet the day before the wedding with Fran to go over any last questions.

We got married at Alyson's this past summer and wanted to share with others what we loved so much about this venue:\r1. It's gorgeous! Has several beautiful spots where you can have your ceremony. Sarma's Pond made a stunning backdrop for photos. Guests arrived at main hall & took a tractor ride (like a hay ride but with benches & no hay) through the orchard to the ceremony site. \r2. The reception hall is beautiful. Windows fill the room with natural light & offer views of the orchard. Ample space. We had 165 guests & plenty of room for a dance floor, live band, coffee bar, buffet & gift tables. AC was clutch as it was 90 degrees on our wedding day.\r3. You get the entire venue all to yourself & there's on-site housing! They let us come in on Friday at noon & we paid extra to keep the Rochambeau Lodge for Sunday so we could host a brunch for guests staying on-site. It made for a fun family weekend!\r4. Plenty of free parking & just a short drive from Keene.\r5. Your band/DJ can play 'til midnight! This was a major selling point for us as most venues require music to end by 10pm.\r6. It's kid-friendly. There’s fruit-picking, a huge jungle gym, and paddle boats to take out on the property’s ponds. Our nephews loved it!\r7. We got married at Alyson's this past summer and wanted to share with others what we loved so much about this venue:\r1. It's gorgeous! Has several beautiful spots where you can have your ceremony. Sarma's Pond made a stunning backdrop for photos. Guests arrived at main hall & took a tractor ride (like a hay ride but with benches & no hay) through the orchard to the ceremony site. \r2. The reception hall is beautiful. Windows fill the room with natural light & offer views of the orchard. Ample space. We had 165 guests & plenty of room for a dance floor, live band, coffee bar, buffet & gift tables. AC was clutch as it was 90 degrees on our wedding day.\r3. You get the entire venue all to yourself & there's on-site housing! They let us come in on Friday at noon & we paid extra to keep the Rochambeau Lodge for Sunday so we could host a brunch for guests staying on-site. It made for a fun family weekend!\r4. Plenty of free parking & just a short drive from Keene.\r5. Your band/DJ can play 'til midnight! This was a major selling point for us as most venues require music to end by 10pm.\r6. It's kid-friendly. There’s fruit-picking, a huge jungle gym, and paddle boats to take out on the property’s ponds. Our nephews loved it!\r7. We had two beautiful brown horses bring me in on a carriage and right after the ceremony the groom and I escaped for our first few minutes married to breathe and prepare to party in the beautiful reception room right on site at Alyson's that accommodated our 130 guests perfectly! Highly recommend a Sunday wedding that is half the price of a Saturday wedding. Also so cool to have a wedding planner, tables, linens, and more included in the package! There are multiple ceremony sites, we chose the Outlook on the hill but Sarma's Pond view is also beautiful. The Orchard Room reception area provided plenty of space for our 165 guests. The patio attached to the Orchard Room was great for cocktail hour, and anyone who wanted some fresh air throughout the evening.\r\rThe true shining star of this company though is Fran, the event coordinator. She helped us every step of the way! She is such a warm, caring, and competent person we had total trust in her advice and attention to detail (and this coming from a bit of a control freak!) She organized and accommodated every request we threw at her, and guided us on the things we were unsure of. She single handedly made our entire wedding experience more enjoyable! THANK YOU FRAN!!\r\rI highly recommend to anyone looking for the destination or wedding weekend experience look at Alyson's Orchard. We rented all three of the cottages attached to the orchard for our weekend, and had a catered BBQ reception with live acoustic music on the back patio of the farm house. It was an ideal way to have our entire family and wedding party stay on site with us, and be able to spend quality time with many of our guest before the main event.\r\rWe now returning to visit the orchard each fall to enjoy picking apples and peaches. We were married out by the Finnish sauna, which meant my guests took a wagon ride through the orchard and were dropped off by a pond that had a dock and the sauna in the background. We could not have designed a more perfect venue for our recent wedding. The ceremony site we chose (of many on property) perfectly captured the nature and majestic views we selected Alyson's for in the first place.\rAdditionally, the reception allowed for some much needed A/C while still having access to the views (all windows) and the grounds. You truly feel quite close to heaven this site has such an incredible view of the clouds and countryside.\rThe lodging was a bit pricey on-site at Alyson's (about $5500) but accommodated roughly 35 of us (mostly comfortable).\rThere were a few cons, most minor, but I believe in full discretion. It was pricey. We booked the lodging, the hall, and a small bar tab and still totaled the $15000 price tag noted above.\rThe wedding coordinator comes as part of the fee, she was competent. She knew the venue well and contributes all of the linens and serverware as part of your fee, but I wouldn't say there was anything exceptional about the services. We actually felt there was a ring of annoyance in almost anything we discussed with the coordinator. Everything was done how we asked and perfectly so, but it all seemed to be \"annoying\" her, for lack of a better description.\rThe hall is completely wired for sound so we went without a DJ. Great idea if you can pull off a playlist, but the quality of the speakers and system wasn't as good as we had hoped. 200 people quickly overwhelmed our dress rehearsal volume decisions so I would suggest a more typical wedding music selection if you choose this place.\rThe lodging was clean and we were actually able to host our rehearsal there which made the wedding into a weekend getaway seemlessly.\rI would ABSOLUTELY refer people to Alyson's for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor Reception, a combo we struggled to find in NH for a party as large as ours. You could comfortably fit 180 people in the reception hall.\rIt was our dream wedding, and this venue had a TON to do with that.

We were married on the orchard, in the modern barn like room, The Orchard Room, last month. Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to the beautiful, magical setting, Alyson's preferred vendors and the help of Fran, the planner at Alyson's orchard. She was helpful and kind every step of the way. She also really, really knows what she is doing. I felt totally comfortable handing over control to her and her staff on my wedding day. Although we opted to get married in a church downtown, they still let us hop in the carriage pulled by a tractor to go to one of the beautiful sites to take pictures!! There is lots of lodging on site where close family and the wedding party stayed. We were able to celebrate all weekend!! And I even got to have a campfire after the reception!!

I fell in love with Alyson’s the moment I saw it. Fran was AMAZING I cannot say enough about her. Our wedding was at 3:00 outdoors, and at 2:50 the sky turned pitch black and it poured!!!! Fran held off until the last minute to bring the ceremony indoors, and I am SO glad she did. At 3:00 the sky’s cleared and we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Fran made all of that happen. Alyson’s is the perfect wedding spot!

The weekend price was a little steep for us, and fortunately they offer a mid-week fee which worked out perfectly for us. The on-site lodging enabled us to have most of our small wedding's guests in one place for the 2 days preceding the wedding. We had large meals together and people had the time to get to know one another better. We were running around like crazy with last minute details, of course! Fran, the wedding coordinator, events manager, problem solver extraordinaire, made me feel so comfortable and cared for. She was accommodating in every way. \rThe space is so beautiful with many locations for an outdoor wedding. We decided on a new location 2 hours before the ceremony and Fran's staff happily moved the set up telling us that it was our day and we should have it the way we wanted. \rFran had recommendations for vendors that turned out to be just what we wanted. \rOur photos are phenomenal. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We look forward to going back for a family reunion or some other event so we can wander around the grounds, go swimming, pick apples, etc. It's beautiful!
