Victoria Kill(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-05-2021 Overall, the Ambassador was a great place to have our wedding reception. We actually switched reception vendors about 3 months before our wedding (due to COVID restrictions). Carolyn was so accommodating and helped us so much to plan the reception so quickly! Due to COVID and our guest list, we weren't able to meet the minimums required to book the Ambassador, but they waived the minimums for us!Some negative things we experienced with the Ambassador was that there was no plate or forks set out on the cake table for when we cut the cake so we never got to eat any of it on our wedding day. The server at the head table asked what everyone wanted for dinner even though the guest list was given to the event planner with everyone's meal choice. Dinner was also slightly slow, pushing our timeline back by half an hour. Overall, the staff was great, Carolyn really helped us plan everything within the COVID restrictions we had, and to make sure our guests were happy and safe the entire night! Reviewed on 27-05-2021
Sean Kiley(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-01-2018 This place should be your first, last, and only stop if you want a superior wedding experience. Their wedding coordinator, Lynn, will be able to guide you through the entire process seamlessly and ensure that your big day goes perfectly. The food was amazing, the portion sizes were unreal. The entire staff was professional and efficient. It was truly a well-oiled machine. When we returned to our room after everything was done, the entire thing was reset and we had a tray of fruit and cheese as well as a bottle of champagne and two pieces of wedding cake. I cannot recommend the Ambassador highly enough. My wife and I have literally no complaints about them whatsoever. If I could add stars, I would probably go to about twenty. Reviewed on 19-11-2016

Abby Buschak(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2016 Great experience! Lynn the wedding coordinator is amazing and so easy to work with. With planning a wedding from a different state she was great about giving me suggestions for vendors and helping me organize a timeline. She was able to work in a meeting anytime my husband and I came home. There were no suprises on the day of the wedding and she took care of everything and it was very stress-free. I would choose this venue for sure! Reviewed on 27-09-2016

Kayla Kenny(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2016 Overall they did an amazing job. There were only a few things we learned the following day we weren't pleased with. While staff was removing plates of food they were scraping them in front of everyone instead of taking them to the kitchen. We were suppose to have a suite for the night, but didn't get one and didn't really get an answer as to why not. Again, overall a great experience and amazing time. We would recommend them to anyone. Jessica Stutzman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2016 Since having our wedding ceremony two weeks ago at the Ambassador Garden Atrium, I have highly recommended to others who are engaged that they should also look into doing their ceremony here as well. Planning an outdoor wedding in Erie is hard to do with the unpredictable weather, so the Ambassador Garden Atrium was the perfect alternative. The room has a glass ceiling that makes you feel like you are outside, while still having your guests indoors with air conditioning in the hot summer months. The room was absolutely beautiful, but it really was the wedding planner, Lynn Reed, who made all the difference for us. She was so organized with the logistics, but also with the decorative pieces as well. We didn't have to worry about a thing and I know that with a big wedding like ours, we greatly appreciated that!It was so wonderful working with her over these last few months and it was such a stress-reliever to have her on our side! My mom said we should have hired her to plan the whole day, not just the ceremony!! We also received so many compliments on the appetizers we ordered for the cocktail hour, but especially the reuben puff pastries! Reviewed on 11-07-2016
Brenda Newlin(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-04-2016 The atrium room at the ambassador was an absolutely stunning venue for or wedding and reception. Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-11-2015 We chose to have both our religious ceremony and our reception in the Ambassador's Atrium. \r\rThey were very flexible with us, and set the room up in a way they never had before since it is what we wanted. The room is beautiful, and even though our day started cloudy, the glass roof makes it special, and the sun broke out just as the ceremony ended. \r\rOur cocktail hour was in the area just outside the atrium. During this hour, we had our formal pictures in the atrium, and the staff \"flipped\" the room, taking down the rows of chairs and moving the already set tables out from the walls into position for the reception. \r\rAt the end of the cocktail hour, we moved back into the atrium, had our toasts and the first dances, and then the buffet was served - which they had set up in the area just outside where the cocktail hour had been. They were masters at resetting things without us ever seeing it! The food was excellent, and again they were flexible, serving all of the dressings and sauces on the side at my request. The servers slid in and out, filling coffee and water, removing used plates, but never disrupting the party. \r\rLynn was our contact throughout the planning, the rehearsal, and the big day. I just can not say enough good about her! She answered questions gladly, let us come up 3 times to look things over as we were planning, and made great suggestions like taking pictures of the napkin colors to take to the florist with us. She also took so much off my shoulders: she contacted all my vendors the week before the wedding to make sure everything was set (florist, photographer, musician, baker) so I didn't have to. She said to bring all our items (favors, photos, etc.) to the rehearsal the evening before and she would take care of all the set up, and everything was just as I wanted it on wedding day! She came to my hotel room personally to escort me down when it was time for the wedding to start. She offered to put our leftover cake in the fridge overnight, and hold the stuff we brought in as well so we could just load it all in the car after check out the next day which was so much nicer than hauling it to the room. \r\rHaving the hotels connected was wonderful, both for me getting ready, and our out of town guests. We had a block of rooms held for our guests, and their feedback was that reservations were quick and easy. They also gave me a junior suite for the block room price, and that was lovely, so handy to have the extra room when getting dressed for a wedding, with people in and out!\r\rThe price seemed high when we were first shopping around, but they are such pros at it, we are totally satisfied that we made the right decision. Everything just flowed beautifully, and as I already mentioned, Lynn was amazing. Honestly, not a thing went wrong! And that lack of headaches is worth the price in my book. I highly recommend them! Micheline Minnaugh(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-06-2013 We had our wedding at the Ambassador Center in Erie Pa. The food and service were excellent. The only negatives were: It was hot in the Garden Atrium Room where we had our ceremony (even though we talked to them about it because it was also warm during our rehearsal the night before.) And also: when we were in the holding room no one was there if we had questions etc. We had to look all around for them. Reviewed on 09-07-2013
Holly Kwitowski(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2012 I can't rave enough about the Ambassador Center! Our wedding coordinator, Paula, was amazing and the venue was absolutely gorgeous! We had a separate parking lot, coat check and private entrance for our guests, which was great! No hidden costs. Food was absolutely amazing - and I've been to plenty of places where your clearly only paying for the ambiance - thankfully, this was not one of them! The staff were all very polite and professional. On one of the most important, but also one of the most stressful days of my life, I literally did not have to worry about a thing! It was wonderful!
