In Anaheim, CA, Anaheim White House Restaurant is a refined wedding venue and place to dine within a historic structure. Refurbished to accommodate contemporary comforts while still honoring the architectural integrity, the restaurant offers couples a sophisticated setting for celebrations. Between the exceptional cuisine and the luxurious backdrop, there is something timeless about the location that makes it ideal for “I dos.”
Dosithe Gervais was the creative mastermind behind Anaheim White House Restaurant when it was constructed in 1909. Initially, the Waterman family occupied the home before the Truax family took residence there for five decades. In 1981, Jim and Barbara Stovall took ownership of the property and transformed it into a restaurant. It was taken over by Chef Bruno Serato in 1987 and renovated again in 2017 after a fire engulfed the building. With remodeling complete, doors were opened again to lovebirds and their families in 2018. The exquisite details throughout the structure help make it a memorable and upscale gathering place
The West Wing Ballroom at Anaheim White House Restaurant is a popular choice for weddings and can accommodate up to 200 people. It possesses a whimsical ambience with white walls and mirror accents. The space opens up onto a lawn that can be used for ceremonies. There are also options to reserve the entire restaurant for your special occasion. The decor throughout balances white and gold with Swarovski crystal chandeliers glittering from above. Menus can be customized to fit your tastes and staff are available to assist you in hosting your gathering at the restaurant.

Hang Tran(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-10-2014 We found the Anaheim White House through several wedding websites and a bridal show, but they were also written up as a great restaurant in my local newspaper a few times. We were looking for about a month at several venues before we decided to check out the Anaheim White House. We had been discussing what we wanted in a venue: we wanted something unique, we wanted somewhere that served great food, we wanted something within our budget, we wanted a place that did not have a site fee, in short we wanted some place that connected with our tastes. We basically went there without an appointment and met Katie, the event manager, who very graciously met us as she was setting up the reception hall for a wedding event. She told us what AWH could do for us, and let us have a quick look. We checked out their event and wedding menu packages, and pretty much chose them after two days. \r\rThe Anaheim White House is an Italian steakhouse restaurant that is also a historic landmark. You won't find the usual Italian food fare there. There is a long hall outside of the main restaurant that is used for events, and a small lawn area in front where wedding ceremonies can take place. Since we held our ceremony elsewhere, we were just looking for a place to hold our reception. With Katie's help, we were able to transform the small lawn into an outdoor dance floor with wonderful bistro lights crossing overhead. We had the bar, our DJ and a photo booth set up outdoors as well. Our guests were treated to a social there, and dinner was served indoors in the reception hall. The West Wing (as the reception hall is called) can hold up to 150 guests, but we had 100 guests and it looked more spacious than we were thinking it would. The food was well prepared and very tasty. We had our food tasting a month before and were really excited to see if our guests would love the choices we made on their behalf. We had dietary needs of all kinds, from my husband's mushroom allergy to gluten-free to dairy-free to vegetarians, and the staff handled everyone's needs wonderfully. One of our guests had mentioned to a server that she couldn't eat the hors d'oeuvres because there was cheese on them and that she was also vegetarian. The server came back to her with a few bites that was both vegetarian and without dairy. The service really made sure that every detail was taken care of. All we had to do was enjoy the evening with our guests. Katie and the entire staff really did take care of everything. We had the bouquet toss from the balcony of the restaurant to the single ladies on the lawn. It was a little tricky to have photographs done from both above and below. Whatever you do, be sure to add the Anaheim White House's version of a dessert tray as part of your package. You won't regret it. \r\rAll in all, our guests loved every minute of the reception. It was not the usual wedding venue that our friends and family have attended (read: buffets, Asian restaurants, same type of wedding food), and for that, we think they really got to enjoy something different, which is part of our diabolical plan in the first place! One of the most delightful things was the dessert tray. All of our guests raved about that one still. \r\rChoose the Anaheim White House as your wedding venue. You won't be disappointed. And family and friends will be talking about it for a long time to come. Reviewed on 11-12-2014
Kathleen (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-10-2014 We had our wedding at the richard nixon library they had a list of approved caterers and we chose ethnic food (chinese food) as a condition White House would provide the service and seafood world would only provide food. So this review is for their service and set up only. They did a great job communicating with us. On the day of everything was set up nicely and napkins were folded in the shape of a tux. Our waiter Nazim was amazing, he was truly attentive and fulfilled our every request. The price is a little steep for service only but I guess you get what you pay for. Every ran so smoothly! Chelsea Villegas(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-05-2014 Beautiful venue, equally beautiful (not to mention delicious!) food, and wonderful people (shout-out to Katie!) who are willing to help you every step of the way and answer any question that pops into your head. My guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was, how lovely the venue was, and how everything went so smoothly... I couldn't have asked for a better day! (Just be careful of the limo--when my bridal party and I rode in it, the AC was broken!) Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect. The cake was included from a local bakery, and it was lovely and tasted great, too. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, beautiful venue, with great people & food, and with everything conveniently in one place so no one has to drive anywhere... look no further! This is your place! Reviewed on 13-05-2014
Silvia Portugal(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-01-2014 The White House did an IMPECCABLE job with our wedding. I was speechless when we walked through the gates. We sincerely appreciate how accommodating Katie and staff were and how flexible they were with everything. It was elegant and perfect. We felt like we were home, but with even more elegance and decadent food then we could have imagined. Much nicer then places that were triple the price! I wouldn't change anything, they made my day perfect! Completely transformed the entertainment room and had a beautiful white tent that only added to the elegance. Not to mention the WOW Jackie O deserts, my friends and family are still talking about how incredible that was! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Reviewed on 30-01-2014
Peggy Ting(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-09-2013 The Anaheim White House is a hidden gem in the OC. They truly do provide a \" Presidential Wedding Experience.\" Our wedding reception was hosted in the West Wing banquet hall with 100 of our closest friends and family. The wedding coordinator, Katie Ibay was wonderful to work with from the start. She made the planning stress-free and was willing to accommodate changes with the dinner menu. \r\rOn the actual day of the event, Katie and the crew took exceptional care of my guests. They were attentive to our needs throughout the whole evening. Our Hors D'Oeuvres and the four course meal were very delicious and food was brought out in a timely manner. All our guests LOVED the food and food presentation; no one left hungry. They also have an amazing dessert platter that is a great show piece. \r \rThank you Katie and crew for helping to make our wedding day so special!!! Reviewed on 29-10-2013

Natalie Kellogg(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-01-2013 We are so glad we chose Anaheim White House to cater our wedding. Amine and Ana are amazing to work with. The food was fantastic, everyone commented on how much they LOVED it. Plus, the service is incredible. They really are a well oiled machine. They also have a server dedicated to the B&G and bridal party, and we didn't have to worry about anything! My husband and I never had to worry about anything, it was fantastic! Highly recommend.\r\rOne tip--make sure you're on the same page with the bar situation. We thought we were having only the beverages that we were hosting (beer, wine, champagne, signature cocktail, non-alcoholic stuff). We went with that option because we were concerned with people getting out of control, not because of cost. However, apparently there was other alcohol available for purchase. We didn't want our guests to be opening their wallets for anything (which is why we wanted to have the bar limited). It wasn't a big deal, and turned out fine (I didn't know until after our wedding that this occurred), but it's just something I would clarify upfront. Reviewed on 27-02-2013
