Ancala Country Club is a gorgeous countryside wedding venue located in the mountains of Scottsdale, AZ. This championship Golf course opens its door to members and non-members alike. Ancala Country Club's large, immaculate green lawns are perfect for your wedding ceremony. The scenic views and natural light are a beautiful backdrop for saying 'I do' while being absolutely ideal for taking photos. After sharing a drink or two with your guests in the reception foyer, you can make your way to the Grand Ballroom for the wedding reception. This high-ceilinged building is adorned with chandeliers and can comfortably seat up to 200 of your nearest and dearest. The Sonoran Courtyard lends itself to more intimate gatherings. However, it can also be used to relax and unwind, enjoy a drink, or simply admire the fantastic mountain scenery. The on-site wedding coordinator at Ancal Country Club will work hand in hand with you throughout the ceremony. Beginning with establishing a wedding day timeline, they will help you to choose your vendors while keeping your budget in mind. Should you wish to, the in-house culinary team is delighted to work with you to customize a delicious menu for your special day. Professional bartenders are also on hand to create a signature cocktail or drink to enjoy during cocktail hour. There are several different wedding packages to avail of when you choose Ancala Country Club. My husband and I had our holiday party at Ancala Country Club this year. We had it in the wine room which is a lovely room and perfect for a special event. Our guests were treated to a great experience by Chef Anthony’s wonderful creations for us and for the excellent service we had by Macie. After dinner cocktails on the patio to enjoy the city views. The best part is all the planning was done by their sales team. Jodee Dominici and Anna Arndt did all the work for us. They walked me through the menu options, table linens and wine. They were amazing and our event was a big hit!I highly recommend this venue….just reach out to Jodee! She will take good care of you!

We had out annual end of season high school football banquet at the Ancala Golf club for the 3rd year in a row and it was great. We researched other venues in the valley but Ancala was much more cost friendly and accommodating to our event needs than other places we visited. The Ancala Club was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff was attentive and friendly. The catering team, Anna and Jodee were easy to work with on planning the event and even accommodated some last minute requests for changing tables and set up. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and room settings. Ancala was the perfect venue for us and we will be planning future events here for certain.

We cannot say enough good things about how amazing our daughter's wedding was on Saturday, November 11. Everything was perfect from start to finish.The set up was spectacular, both on the driving range and the side courtyard. The cocktail hour on the range was a highlight with that amazing sunset over Camelback.Everyone raved about the food. Which is not common, in my experience, at weddings. I always hope for some thing that's palatable at best. Even my pickiest of eating friends could not say enough good things about the food!The service was top-notch. It was quick, it was efficient, it was professional. I honestly never even noticed the wait staff because they were not ever in the way, they were just doing their jobs very efficiently and professionally.I will say that we are so glad we had the big dance floor. With 82 people in attendance, there were times when every single person was on the dance floor at once. It was spectacular.We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making the night so special for Elena and Ben. They keep referring to it as a fairytale and we couldn't agree more.

Noah and I were married at Ancala on 10/1/22 and words can’t describe how perfect the day was. Bradley and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that not only Noah and I were taken care of, but that our guests and family were too. Additionally, we are from Minnesota, which adds a layer of difficulty in wedding planning. Bradley went above and beyond to communicate with us on how our day would go and how things would be set up. I can’t say enough nice things about the people and this venue!!

Bradley and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that not only Noah and I were taken care of, but that our guests and family were too. Five stars doesn’t do justice to the Ancala Country Club. My wife and I were just married there on October 14th and we could not have been more pleased with the level of customer service, attention to detail and amazing food to go with a picturesque location. Ancala is under new management, which would normally make people concerned but that’s not the case with their new staff. Once their new team was in place we were able to finalize our plans for what turned out to be a wedding far greater than we could have imagined. The Club has several locations for weddings, the most sought after is on the course with Camelback Mountain as a backdrop. Unfortunately, they were overseeding the course during our wedding which meant we needed to find an alternate location big enough to accommodate 80 people. Not a problem for Ancala, they quickly pivoted and created a space that also had views of Camelback. In addition to the previous locations, they also have a ballroom and the Sonoran Patio, which we chose for our reception. The Sonora Patio is just off the Clubhouse, set within a group of mesquite trees, with lights strung between them. It’s a quaint and intimate space. We had just under 80 guests, and it was perfect! The staff worked closely with us on every aspect of our wedding. Normally at weddings the food is generally average at best, not at Ancala! We were blessed to have a new chef who took great pride in preparing our meals, both the filet and chicken breasts were prepared in a Sous Vide prior to finishing in an oven or grill. The result were meals cooked to perfection. So many of our guests commented on their meals, most equating it to a five-star restaurant.However, none of this would have mattered if it weren’t for the exceptional customer service, from not only the Club’s executive management but down to the individual server. After our ceremony we were taking pictures and the Club Manager came out with some appetizers and cocktails for us. During the reception they were walking around pouring glasses of wine at the tables and ensuring every guests needs with met. They repeatedly checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. There are venues that talk about customer service and then there is Ancala which walk the talk!For those of you looking for a wedding or venue for a special event in North Scottsdale, Ancala Country Club should be on your list!

The \"Perfect Wedding ! \" Just can't say enough, so excited that this was the venue that we fell in love with. Ancala Country Club located in Scottsdale, Arizona is not only a beautiful venue but it has to have the most amazing staff ever. Amy Mckee and team worked hard to make this a seemless affair. As mother of the bride I appreciated her attention to details and suggestions along the way. Every staff member from begining to end made sure that this day was special and stress free. Juan and the banquet staff were awesome. The food was absolutely spectaclar!! Besides the Hor d'oeuvres, appetizers and the beautiful and tasty buffet dinner at the reception the grooms family had hosted the rehersal dinner in the breathtaking courtyard. Needless to say all guest were treated to a culinary explosion of fine food and spirits. This was an outdoor wedding with incredible views in every direction, making this the perfect place for a sunset wedding. The photos are picture perfect! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for that special place for their ceremony or any special occasion. Again, a special thank you to all staff for making my daughters dream wedding come true. I am still hearing from our guests on what a beautiful venue and wedding it was. For our wedding, Ancala was an amazing choice. The location was breathtaking, especially during the sunset! TOP NOTCH! Beautiful venue. A ton of options. Our event coordiator, Amy, was outstanding. She guided us through the entire process and was very helpful with planning as well as the day of the event. The Bridal Room is wonderful. Guests raved about the food. The entire staff were polite and very helpful. Amy and her crew were on point all night to the very end taking the stress out for the bride and family. The location and grounds were a spectacular setting for photos!

As a Wedding Coordinator I always appreciate working with a venue that has an Event Coordinator who is experienced, hard working and accommodating to the reasonable requests of the Bride and Groom, as well as their guests. Amy McKee has all those attributes and is wonderful to work with! She has a positive attitude and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a positive experience while at Ancala. As a Wedding Coordinator I always appreciate working with a venue that has an Event Coordinator who is experienced, hard working and accommodating to the reasonable requests of the Bride and Groom, as well as their guests. The patio setting at Ancala is beautiful but what made the wedding extra special was the Events Coordinator - Amy McKee. She handled every last detail without a hitch and came up with so many great ideas that we never thought of. Anyone can have a gorgeous location for a wedding but it's the people (Amy & team) who run the show that took it to the next level!

She handled every last detail without a hitch and came up with so many great ideas that we never thought of. Anyone can have a gorgeous location for a wedding but it's the people (Amy & team) who run the show that took it to the next level!

Our wedding experience was absolutely wonderful at Ancala Country Club! The venue, staff, food, and service was absolutely amazing!!!Amy, our coordinator, was readily available to answer any and all questions via phone or email. From our very first visit to our actual wedding day, Amy was nothing less than helpful and professional! Every question and concern we had was answered or dealt with, and her responses were always prompt! Amy was absolutely fabulous, and made the entire planning process so easy!We couldn't have been happier with our choice of Ancala Country Club for our wedding on 2/29/20. It was nothing short of AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about Amy and staff at Ancala CC. She worked with my fiance' and myself to create the perfect wedding! From start to finish, it was more than we could have ever asked for. The service was amazing, the food DELICIOUS, and the drinks flowing all night! Amy was awesome and helped our big day go off without any issues! Our guests raved about the food and the gorgeous venue! We had a picture-perfect day thanks to everyone at Ancala CC, especially Amy! Ancala was the absolute perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. The entire setting was gorgeous. The golf course, where the ceremony was held, the views from the balcony during the cocktail hour, the ballroom, where the dinner and dance were held, and the charming and romantically lit patio all worked together to provide for the perfect wedding. Additionally, the food and service was spectacular! So beyond what I imagined. It was as wonderful as any steakhouse one might visit. I must also throw a huge thank you out to Amy McKee, the on site wedding coordinator. She is amazing! The wedding came off so perfectly and that was largely due to Amy's expertise. I wish I had another daughter so I could throw another ANCALA wedding!!

I can not say enough nice things about Ancala and Amy to do it justice. My now husband and I, researched for months , spoke to tons of event coordinators and when we went in to view the venue and speak with Amy we just knew it was the place to make our wedding visions come true! The food was absolutely delicious, all our guests were complementing our menu the entire night. The views from the outside ceremony location were beautiful, the cocktail hour on the patio was a fun transition spot from the ceremony to the reception. He reception room was perfect size with great lighting for all our special moments. Amy was such a blessing in all the chaos of wedding planning. Every question I had she happily answered in a timely manner, and on the wedding day there were zero bumps, everything flowed so smoothly with all the vendors because of Amy’s help.

The venue is gorgeous! I had a beautiful location with amazing views, a large and modern decorated ballroom and stunning locations for photos. Ancala is the perfect venue for a dream come true wedding. From the moment we met with Fred to tour the venue to the day we said I do, everything was on point! Ancala was a pretty setting for my wedding. They replaced the carpet a month before the wedding which was much needed. I was disappointed with the service I received from the serving staff. Otherwise, everything else went well.

My wedding at Ancala Country Club was absolutely flawless. Jennifer Benfatti was the ideal coordinator. She ensured my wedding and reception were organized, beautiful, and just how I wanted them. She was always available to answer questions and to give her input. I have received so many compliments on how smoothly everything went, and I have Jennifer to thank for it! The venue itself was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was awesome! I would recommend Ancala to all of my friends!

The venue is absolutely beautiful with views of the McDowell mountains and Camelback mountain in the distance. When we met Jennifer, Director of Catering she was amazing so we went with the venue. She said that she would be there for the set up that day and that there would be additional lights added to the outdoor reception area come the day of the wedding. But come the wedding week no lights were added we had to go out and buy them and put them up ourselves she said that she would pay us back for the lights but never did (she said she wasn't allowed to). I barely saw Jennifer the day of the wedding and when I did she was all over the place and very high strung. The beer we choose for the open bar was incorrect and when they brought out our cake it was smashed on one side. Thank goodness for all of my friends who cleaned up the mess and the rest of the event staff was amazing! Food was excellent! If this is the venue for you I would highly recommend having your own wedding planner to micromanage make an organized timeline, seating charts and set up everything.
