This idyllic waterfront property, nestled in a secluded cove on the Severn River, provides guests with a one-of-a-kind setting to host the event of their dreams. The team is honored to offer soon-to-be-newlyweds a range of all-inclusive, customizable packages to help them bring their fairytale event to life. The indoor banquet hall provides ample room for an evening of dinner and dancing. The dedicated staff at Anchor Inn provides nearlyweds with a number of services to ensure that their day runs smoothly. The venue’s event planner will be on hand throughout your planning process and will coordinate your celebration on the day. They will work diligently to honor your one-of-a-kind love story throughout every element of your celebration, ensuring that every detail is carefully considered and expertly executed. All-inclusive packages can include catering services from the in-house team of talented chefs. Anchor Inn was the perfect wedding venue!!! The staff was so professional, helpful, responsive, and made sure every detail of our wedding was done perfectly! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about the views and food! I highly recommend the Anchor Inn for a wedding venue!!

Anchor Inn was the perfect wedding venue!!! The staff was so professional, helpful, responsive, and made sure every detail of our wedding was done perfectly! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about the views and food! I highly recommend the Anchor Inn for a wedding venue!!

Words cannot explain how grateful we are to have picked Anchor Inn & Catering by Uptown as our venue!! From the start, Catering by Uptown ensured the whole process was smooth and effortless. We knew who to contact for questions, everything was answered in advance, pricing was upfront & accurate (no last minute additions!!), & the staff ensured we had no stress leading up to / the day of our wedding. The venue is stunning, we provided minimal decor with not a ton of explanation and the staff decorated it flawlessly and exceeded our expectations. All our guests had an AMAZING time, & zero complaints about the food! The food was delicious, super elegant, & service was amazing. Now, to one of the most influential parts of the day - Veronica was our day of coordinator provided by Catering by Uptown, and she greatly exceeded all our expectations. She was everything and more!! She guessed what we needed before we knew we needed it, ensured everything ran SO SMOOTH day of, made sure we had food and drinks the whole night, and was so accommodating to our needs. I had been told I would not be able to enter the venue until 3pm the day of the wedding, but Veronica called me the week of and told me she could let me in early. She was perfect at her job & we cannot thank her enough!! Overall - have your wedding here!!

The venue is so beautiful! We got so many compliments from our guests. Ya-Maila was the BEST. We were so lucky to get her as our Account Manager/Planning Contact and our day of coordinator. My cousins birthday was on our wedding day and we were just planning on singing happy birthday to her. Ya-Maila found out from the DJ with 30 minutes notice and whipped out a full cake with candles for her. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. Catering by Uptown provides almost everything you need which allowed us to limit our number of vendors and the number of things we had to buy just to use one time. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of!

The Anchor Inn made the wedding planning process less stressful. Planning a wedding can be so overwhelming, but the Anchor Inn made everything so seamless with their all inclusive packages. So many things were included in the price, that it saved so much time and effort. I would like to give a special thank you to Tracy and Kenisha. Tracy helped with every email right up to the event, and she had a positive and helpful attitude the entire process. Having a waterfront wedding was the only requirement my husband and I had. We quickly found how expensive that would be in the DMV area! Anchor Inn served as a more affordable venue (although admittedly still above our initial budget) but was beautiful and ultimately we were sold when we found out that food and an open bar would be included in the price! WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! The food for starters was amazing, from the plated appetizers to the entree to even the salad, guests were raving about the options and how delicious everything was. The venue was super accommodating to the impending weather and we were able to get in our entirety of the ceremony outdoors before it started to sprinkle. Additionally, the set up was just like how we had talked to our coordinator and they were so lovely talking over the centerpieces and other areas where we provided our own materials.One of the other major reasons we are writing this review though is to recognize how amazing our Day of Coordinator Ty was. We had corresponded a couple of times, but the day before the wedding we were supposed to meet up to drop off our centerpieces and guest book. With 495 traffic, our time quickly got delayed. However, Ty was so flexible and so patient with us, and we wasted no time at all when we got there. She answered all of our questions, and she was such a calm and level-headed person that we could always look to. In regards to the wedding day itself, she was phenomenal. She kept us on track the whole day, was made sure that we were fed, checked in on us, and let us escape to the back quickly to Facetime relatives who couldn't join us and take a moment to breathe. We really couldn't have asked for a better person! Everyone we coordinated with- Jeff, Cassidy, and Ty were all so lovely, and so knowledgeable. Catering by Uptown and Anchor Inn was worth every cent!

I would absolutely recommend the Anchor Inn to anyone and everyone! We loved every single second of our wedding day and could not get over how beautiful it all turned out. We had guests complimenting the view, food and vibe of the venue all night long! My little sister even wants to have her wedding here in a few years, so that’s when you know it’s amazing! From the delicious food and the incredible view to the helpful coordinators and their timely responses, I am so grateful I chose the Anchor Inn as my wedding venue.

Since the moment we stepped foot on the property of the Anchor Inn back in 2019, we fell in love! We scheduled our wedding for 2020 and postponed due to COVID. We are so thrilled with how the day went and how gorgeous the venue was. We received many compliments on the venue and ambiance. Our cocktail hour and reception were held here, with our ceremony held at a church in Laurel, MD. I wish I could post photos because words do not do the venue justice. The water, dock, and covered patio all were unique features that other venues just cannot offer. If I had to choose all over again, I’d pick here.

With the pandemic, we knew we wanted to limit the total number of vendors we had to work with in the event we needed to postpone....which we did! It was soooo much less stress to have our venue, food, linens/place settings, part of our decor, uplighting, cake and so much more all tied together. The food and cake were both delicious! Esther was our point person throughout much of the planning and Mira took care of us for our rehearsal and wedding day. Both were fantastic to work with and kept everything running smoothly from planning to execution!

We found Anchor Inn through a google search for waterfront venues in Maryland and immediately fell in love upon our tour. I had an inkling from the website photos that this was the \"one\" but seeing it in person (even in the winter), sealed the deal. The views are incredible, the food provided by Catering by Uptown was delicious and their team was great on the day-of. We liked that all the food&bar was included as well as all the tables/chairs/linens so we did not have to find an outside vendor for rentals. We booked in January 2020 before Covid hit and never thought we would have to worry about Covid still being around while we were planning our wedding (and got lucky that restrictions lifted shortly before our big day) but their team was very helpful in keeping us updated on any changes we may have had to make. With such a long planning period, we did have some changes to our initial planning coordinator but everyone was helpful along the way.The star of the show was our day-of Event Supervisor, Veronica. She was so nice & lovely to meet with the week of the wedding, and just put me at ease. I knew our day was going to be perfect with her at the helm and she kept us right on schedule and made sure we were taken care of. She executed my vision perfectly with all the decor pieces and allowed us to have the best day ever- we can't thank her enough!

We started off with Cassidy and she was very responsive and helped us with all the pre wedding set up. Marissa was our day of coordinator and we received multiple compliments about her! She was on top of everything and allowed us to have a stress free wedding :) definitely recommend !!

Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous but the staff was excellent! My husband and I got married here last weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony backdrop or event space! Truly so picturesque and private, too. The food and service were also incredible. We are still on post-wedding cloud nine a whole week later! Thanks to Catering by Uptown for being so detail oriented and for making our wedding day so special.

We liked the way the venue looked 2 years ago when we booked but we LOVED the airier and more open feel of the venue after the renovations that were completed right before our wedding. The staff was great and the venue is top notch - it's on a dead end road so it feels so private on the water. I'd pick this venue again and again!

We loved this venue! It was perfect for a quick ceremony outside while the sun was setting, and a really wonderful party afterward! The venue was beautiful, I got so many compliments on the food, and the staff were helpful and friendly. From Victoria who helped me book the venue (which was really reasonably priced), to the AMAZING Marissa who walked me through every step of the process (including all of the day of planning and implementation), this was a wonderful process. I would definitely recommend Anchor Inn to anyone getting married in the area. We had a wonderful wedding, and it would not have been possible without this venue!

We got married at the Anchor Inn August, 12 2017 and it was amazing! The one thing I always wanted was to get married by the water and this venue captured that perfectly with the views inside of the venue as well as the dock. It is a unique venue that is beautiful. The food was amazing and we had SO many compliments on that as well as how pretty the venue was! I worked with Cindy for the planning and she was so responsive and helpful. I would recommend Catering by Uptown as well as the venue especially since the food, linens, cake, dishes, etc is included and makes it so easy! They will work with on a design for your cake as well. I asked for coral design with shells and it was perfect and more than I could have asked for!

I had my wedding at this venue and it was absolutely amazing! I couldn't ask for a wedding wedding day! The staff set up the reception and ceremony beautifully. Katelyn was my wedding planner and she deserves a huge shout out for everything she did for me. She kept my mind at ease and always made sure to take care of things for me! The food was fabulous and the wedding cake was even better. I could rave about this venue all day! I feel in love with the Anchor Inn the moment I first stepped foot on the parking lot, best day of my life.

Anchor Inn is a lovely water front venue nestled in a quiet residential area in Pasadena. It's perfect for small weddings. Our wedding was attended by 50 guests, and the reception and ceremony areas were a perfect fit for our group. We planned our wedding from Georgia, and Catering by Uptown made it easy. They utilize an online planning site where you can select and visualize every aspect of your wedding. The pricing was budget friendly, a little over $100 per head, and included rental fees, linens, plated service, hors d'oeuvres, and even a cake! The choice of linens is expansive. The ceremony space is covered, which was perfect for our August morning wedding. The waitstaff were extremely attentive and very friendly! My husband and I have food allergies, and they made sure everything was safe. A few of my guests needed special plates, and everyone got exactly what they needed. Our DOC, Amy, was fabulous! She made sure everything was set up exactly as we wanted, kept us on time, and made sure my husband and I got everything we needed the whole day! The food was delicious! We have a lot of foodie family members, and they all raved about everything they ate. My only qualm about the whole day is that we paid for open bar, and the bar was not stocked with everything we were promised. A few of the spirits and juices needed for mixed drinks were not provided. All in all though, it was a beautiful wedding, and so much more than we hoped for. I highly recommend Anchor Inn!

My husband and I got married at the Anchor Inn on July 26th. We had both the ceremony and reception at the venue. Everything was PERFECT. The ceremony area is gorgeous being right on the water and covered which is great. \r\rLaura, the assigned day of coordinator by Catering by Uptown made everything run smoothly.We dropped off all of our reception items earlier in the week and everything had been set up exactly how we wanted when we got there. The rest of the staff was also very professional. \r\rWe heard from many of our guests that the food at our reception was the best food they had at a wedding. The drinks were also strong so worth the money!\r\rAgain, I cannot say enough for how great catering by uptown was. They were super helpful leading up to the wedding. You can call and talk to anyone in the planning department and they can help you out. Also their planning website made me feel much more confident leading up to the wedding that everything would work out.\r\rIf cost is what is worrying you, I can definitely say that afterwards, my husband and I feel that the food, drink, and overall atmosphere and setting of this venue and caterer did not disappoint! Definitely worth the little extra money!
