Chelsea Matts(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2018 This venue is absolutely gorgeous! I would give the location a 5 star, but unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with the staff throughout the planning process. We booked the venue with their wedding coordinator who couldn’t stop praising how wonderful their chef was. Unfortunately, both their wedding planner and their chef quit. No one informed us of this until I called to confirm our food tasting with the chef. They hired a new wedding coordinator who would take weeks to months to get back to me. We decided to hire our own personal wedding planner because it was getting frustrating trying to get any information. We got married next to the driving range. They set up the chairs the day before, but the sprinklers went off in the morning so all of the chairs were wet. Some of the chairs’ cushions had holes in them, so they soaked up the water. We had to exchange all the chairs in time for the wedding. Our wedding planner also informed us that the reception room was not arranged correctly, but she took care of it. On our wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect because of our own personal wedding planner! Reviewed on 03-01-2019

Anonymous (parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-03-2014 What a beautiful venue for a wedding. And it didn't disappoint - the wedding was wonderful, not to mention how stress free it was. We told Katlyn what we wanted and she made it happen. Everyone enjoyed themselves, it was relaxed and beautiful!! The staff went way above and beyond to make sure everything was the way we wanted. The food was delicious, accommodations perfect and we could not have asked for a better place for this special occasion. Thank you Angel Fire for everything!! Reviewed on 15-06-2014
Laura G(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2011 We were one of the first weddings to be held in the new Country Club at the Angel Fire Resort, so they were still trying to figure things out, but for the most part my husband and I were pleased with everything. The wedding coordinator we worked with was Mike, who is no longer there, but he did a great job. He helped us create a budget that would provide us with everything we wanted and still not break my parents bank. They were just putting in the Wedding Green across the street on the golf course when we looked at the venue in the middle of December, and I was having a really hard time envisioning it. The trees and grass were all dead, and there was still a lot of dirt from where they were working on planting, so it looked pretty sad. Mike went over the plans on how it would look in the spring and the plans they had for improving it by our wedding to put my mind at ease, and he was right. It was beautiful and the perfect location for our ceremony when the time came. We also really wanted a plated dinner, and although the chef was hesitant at first because he was use to buffet style for larger parties they agreed to do this for us. It turned out great and the food was wonderful. They even made homemade ice cream to accompany our cake! I also really enjoyed that they did several tastings for us prior to wedding to create a cocktail and dinner menu and made a few cocktails on the house to get a signature cocktail! The day of the wedding turned out great. Chairs were set up on the beautiful Wedding Green just how we asked, the reception tables looked amazing, the food tasted divine, cocktail hour was held in the elements bar adjacent to the reception room and the cocktails and bartenders were awesome, they put out a tea and coffee station towards the end of the night, which was a nice touch, and the service was professional and courteous. The location is stunning with breathtaking views and the tastefully decorated reception hall has such a warm, inviting feeling. It was exactly what my husband and I envisioned for our wedding and I couldn’t think of anywhere I would rather have been married. We still go back on occasion for the wonderful food, views and atmosphere. Reviewed on 22-05-2014
