I cannot recommend this venue enough! Jill was absolutely amazing from the start; highly communicative, organized, and very knowledgeable. She helped to ensure that everything on the day of ran smoothly, even letting us decide the day before to move the ceremony indoors due to cold weather. The food is absolutely delicious and they bent over backwards to accommodate my family's dietary restrictions (they were so touched!). Every single staff member was incredibly kind and helpful and contributed to making our wedding day perfect. 5 stars aren't enough to rate our experience!

I cannot recommend this venue enough. The Antrim 1844 team was AMAZING. They guided me and my fiancé through the wedding process and just made the entire experience so enjoyable. Please know if you choose to have your wedding at Antrim you can expect beautiful grounds, a phenomenal team, the best food, and to truly be doted on. I would not change a thing about this venue.

We had our wedding at Antrim 1844 in August and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was a great size for our wedding which was ~110 people. We toured the venue in the fall and when we showed up for our wedding weekend everyone was blown away by the beautiful flowers and grounds. The mansion is absolutely stunning and made for some beautiful staging & getting ready photos. The bridesmaids used the lower level of the Birnie House for getting ready, which turned out to be such a good decision and it was the perfect start to a fairytale of a day. Lastly, we stayed at the venue at the Ice House the night after our wedding to celebrate alone and it was magical. The little pool and our dinner experience was so unique. We will be back for all of our anniversaries! Thank you for making our day so magical and perfect Antrim!

We had the most perfect wedding weekend at Antrim 1844 on 10/7/23. It is a beautiful venue and exceeded all of our expectations. The rose garden is a stunning ceremony location, and we tented the croquet lawn for our reception. We contracted all the rooms on property for our guests to reserve. We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding at Antrim. Jill, our venue coordinator, communicated with us extensively throughout the planning process and was there on the day of our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. We had an after party at the Pickwick Pub and on the patio with the fire pit, and Antrim allowed us to bring our own items to make s'mores and order pizza from a local pizza place. Also, the bridal suite is huge, has two balconies, and is an absolutely stunning location for photos. There is no shortage of beautiful spots on property for photos.

I cannot say enough about our experience. We were married at Antrim this past Friday 4/28. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there on Thursday night and many of our guests stayed on the property both nights. The property is beautiful, the staff was incredible, and our guests were so happy. It rained on the day of our wedding and they seamlessly moved to plan B which was equally as beautiful. As the bride, I was taken special care of. There were always people checking in to see if I needed anything and there were so many special touches and details that they thought of. One of my favorites is when we came back to our room at the end of the night, there was a plate with 2 slices of our wedding cake (which we hadn’t had a chance to eat), chocolate covered strawberries, and then plate was decorated with flowers from our wedding. They also had a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses set out. They brought my bouquet back to the suite as well. All of these little details just made our experience so wonderful. I could give a million more examples of this kind of attention to detail. The weekend was perfect and I wish I could do it again and again!

We love Antrim! We got engaged there in 2021 and have done many dinners there. Our wedding, which was a week ago, was absolutely beautiful. The venue coordinator Jill was so helpful and helped organize everything. She was great about answering questions. I did not even notice her the day of and everything went perfectly. I was able to rent a house the night before for me and my bridesmaids. We were able to relax the night before the wedding and have our hair and make up done on site. There was lots of room for our family to hang out while we took pictures. We had about 140 people and there was plenty of room. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. I love this venue and would recommend it to anyone, especially as an affordable winter venue.

We used Antrim 1844 to host our wedding in 12/2022. There are beautiful grounds, and the pavilion is a great location for our 103-person wedding. Unfortunately, the wedding planner we initially signed on with, went on maternity leave during planning our wedding and then did not return, so we had to switch planners. This led to some hick-ups with confirming old promises and knowing what Antrim can do and communication. Overall, it was a positive experience. The good:-\tThe food was amazing. The smokehouse restaurant made an amazing meal and provided delicious after party snacks-\tThe venue is GEORGEOUS. You really can’t go wrong.-\tThe rooms are lavish! Almost everyone had a soaking tub and a lot had fireplaces too! Our guests said they felt like royalty. -\tCheck out is nice and late at 11am.-\tAntrim 1844 hosts a lot of weddings and they have a lot of the logistics down. The meh:-\tThe venue only had 43ish rooms and it is in the middle of nowhere so we had to ask some of our local guests to not get a room so our out-of-town guests would have a place to stay close to the venue. There are places <15min drive away but we wished our guests didn’t have to drive after the wedding-\tSpeaking of, coordinating between the wedding planner and the hotel manager was a bit of a nightmare. Not all guests got a welcome bag and ee were also told we could have three rooms cleaned and ready for check in early, however two of the three we requested were not ready early. -\tThere was an issue with how the open bar worked at the afterparty with guests who weren’t staying at the hotel. -\tThe check in time is only an hour before the ceremony so guests don’t have a lot of time if they need to check in before the ceremony.Still a great venue with gorgeous locations on property that has great food and drinks there.

I can't say enough about this venue! It isn't just a beautiful space, it's the most wonderful experience you'll have for any event. Antrim is one of the most gorgeous places I've seen in the state of Maryland. The garden, mansion and rooms are breathtaking. The staff was amazing (Jill was our super woman!!! We love her and will continue to sing her praises forever) they never let us down, we're so welcoming and just downright friendly. Even when I had my nervous moments the staff was there to get me champagne. Thank you for making our day so special.

From start to finish, my husband and I were impressed with Antrim. Our coordinator, Jill, was incredibly nice and helpful, and she made sure everything went smoothly throughout the whole process. The property is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the package they offer is quite reasonable compared to a lot of other wedding venues. Our guests had a fantastic time and told us over and over again how much they loved the venue. It was wonderful to be able to have our wedding party and other guests stay on site, and the bridal suite is incredible. I am so happy that we chose Antrim for our wedding!

We got engaged in December of 2020, and booked Antrim as our venue in January of 2021--we fell in love during our first walk-through and knew without a doubt it s where we wanted to get married. After almost two years of waiting and planning our day came and went in the blink of an eye, but every single thing about October 15, 2022 was absolute perfection and magic. Jill, our coordinator, was there through every step of the way.--she handled my ridiculous amount of emails, and was the most supportive and amazing person throughout the day on the 15th. It was so incredible and surreal to watch this vision that was in our heads over the past year and a half come to life and to get to walk down that aisle on literally THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DAY EVER at the MOST BEAUTIFUL VENUE. I also want to make mention of John, the banquet manager. He was incredible throughout our tasting and this continued during our reception. The food and service was impeccable!Jason is another Antrim employee and he was seriously THE MOST AMAZING HUMAN EVER. He made me feel absolutely beautiful as I was waiting to walk out of the mansion door, and our conversation made my heart so happy. He was so energetic, so enthusiastic, so supportive, and so genuine…it really felt like I was hanging out with one of my best friends as I was waiting. His presence was appreciated more than I can put into words.I could go on and on about our experience at Antrim, but it all comes down to this: Antrim provided us with the most beautiful venue and the most beautiful people to help us through what was the most beautiful day of our lives. Antrim will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we can't wait to visit again soon.

Antrim was an absolutely beautiful venue for our wedding. Jill, our site coordinator from Antrim, was fabulous and so helpful and patient throughout the process. The food was amazing, our guests were raving. The rose garden in September was stunning. Our only issue (albeit very minor) would be the logistics surrounding the rooms/check-in process. It was great to have guests stay on property before/after the wedding; however, they were unable to check in until 3pm. This caused some issues with guests getting into their rooms in a timely fashion, including my husband. The rooms themselves are also lovely and we received many compliments. Overall, we’d definitely recommend having your wedding at Antrim. Jill, and others on the staff, were great to work with!

If I could do it all over again I would choose Antrim every. single. time. Jill was our day of coordinator, but she really helped coordinate the whole process of planning our wedding from start to finish. The landscaping is to die for and the inside of the Mansion is a total dream. My husband and I looked at 3 other places and the second we walked into Antrim we knew that it was where we wanted to get married. The day was a dream and the staff was FANTASTIC. The staff so kindly made us a signature cocktail seeing as we did not have one. Antrim was also great at communicating with all of our vendors. We did not get married indoors we rented (highly recommend if it is within budget) a tent and the staff cleaned everything up from under the tent that night. If you are looking for a beautiful and historical wedding venue Antrim is the place.

Antrim was an absolutely beautiful place to have our April wedding! Katie and Jill were great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions we had. The food is outstanding and the service was great! My only negative for our wedding event would be that we were told we would have 2 bartenders for our 130 guest wedding and they only provided 1 which meant long lines at the bar the majority of the event. While the wedding staff was fabulous and for a wedding venue, they knocked it out of the park, there is a huge disconnect between this staff and the front desk staff. We booked all 40 rooms to accommodate our guests the night of the wedding and it was a nightmare trying to deal with accurate booking confirmations and dealing with cancellations. Unfortunately, if a guest cancels, it falls on the contracted person (us) to pay for the canceled room. We were never notified if a guest canceled and our questions were never directly answered. It would be so much better to make the rooms non refundable. Additionally, and perhaps the biggest issue, many rooms were not ready by the advertised 3pm check in time. Many of our out of town guests relied on that prior to our 4pm start time, and there ended up being rooms that weren’t ready until after 6pm - well into wedding festivity time. The room situation was very frustrating and added a lot of stress to the wedding planning process. It is much easier to book a standard hotel block! That being said, the rooms were absolutely gorgeous and conveniently located. I was impressed that at the end of the night, my bridal bouquet, slices of our cake, and champagne was awaiting my husband and I. Breakfast the next day was delicious and a great end to the event! Overall, as a wedding venue, Antrim was a beautiful place to have our wedding and we were very pleased. I just wouldn’t recommend the nightmare of contracting rooms.

Antrim 1844 was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were one of the first venues we looked at after getting engaged, but we initially thought that they would be out of our price range. After looking at other options, we soon realized what a tremendous value Antrim's package actually is. The fact that their package includes all ceremony fees, an impressive 4 entrée selections, and open bar without upcharges is astounding.Katie and then Jill were incredible wedding coordinators, and everything about the day of our event was flawless. We had about 50 of our family members and friends across 28 rooms stay on site which was an added bonus. Food and accommodations were phenomenal. We truly have no negative feedback to offer and cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

An absolute dream of a venue with an even better team. Jill from start to finish made sure that every question was answered and every detail was recorded. I never for one second thought that I needed an extra day of coordinator or planner because she is THAT good. Our day was incredible. Everything went so smoothly and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Antrim right away in a heartbeat. It has been the best wedding decision we could’ve ever made and we are so lucky to have had our special day here.

We cannot say enough about the \"full package\" experience Antrim provides as a venue. Like many recent weddings, we were originally booked for 2020. After a lot of discussion, going back and forth, we pushed it out til 2021. And boy did we hit the jackpot on the most perfect day! Antrim was very accommodating, allowing us to move our date without any price increases. With the new date we were able to book a bunch of rooms the day before the wedding and the night of the wedding. It was a perfect wedding weekend getaway. We had all of our friends and family staying with us. The Girls had breakfast in the suite and all the guys met in the restaurant. The bridal suite is HUGE we had 10 people + hair and make up and there was plenty of space. As for the event itself the staff was INCREDIBLE. I don't think I lifted a finger the entire day. Katie was our coordinator and she was a dream. She knows what she is doing, anticipated all of our questions, and made sure everything was PERFECT. Additionally we had a staff member that was assigned to help with my dress and check in on us throughout the night. This was unexpected but SO needed and appreciated. Absolutely everything went perfect, we could not have asked for a better day. Lastly, with so many guests staying the night on site, we had Pizzas delivered at 10:15pm. It was a beautiful evening and everyone was able to enjoy some pizza at the bar/on the deck. Staff was available for anything we needed, including trash bags for clean up. The bride and groom end the night with desserts and champagne left in the suite. So many small touches that made the day exceptional. At the end of the day it was worth EVERY PENNY. We wouldn't change a thing!

We toured 4 wedding venues and as soon as we toured the Antrim and met Katie Coon, we knew it was where we wanted to get married! Katie was responsive during the entire planning process and always so helpful. The staff was extremely helpful and it was nice to have catering and housing options on site. We were married outside in the boxwood garden and had our reception in the Pavilion in mid November. I cannot say enough about the Katie - she was the main reason we chose the Antrim, after the views of the gorgeous property!

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the evening! We had Jill help us prior to the wedding day and she was very quick to respond back to all of our emails and pleasant when answering all of our questions. We had Matthew Spenspadvold help us throughout the evening and he was amazing!! We feel so lucky to have had him on our team during the reception, he kept us on schedule and was very courteous and made certain we were taken care of throughout the evening. Everyone was very pleased and impressed with how the wedding turned out from decorations to food to service, everything was top notch.

I can’t say enough good things about Antrim 1844. I wish we could get married there over and over again! Jill, our coordinator, went absolutely above and beyond to make the entire process - from tour to wedding day - a total breeze. Everyone was so easy to communicate with and extremely organized and detail oriented. Our guests were RAVING about how amazing our venue was all night long! Highly recommend booking your rehearsal dinner at the Smokehouse so you and your guests can enjoy the Pickwick pub before the big day. We felt like VIPs the entire time! If you know you’ll have some guests who want to keep the fun going after the reception, definitely book the entire Carriage House (we booked every room for our groomsmen!). Would recommend the Antrim to any couple looking for a place that will impress your guests and have them talking about your wedding for years to come. Thank you Jill and the entire Antrim team!

Katie Coon and the team at Antrim 1844 made our wedding day absolutely perfect and easy! One of the main reasons why we picked this venue was because it had so much already included (food/alcohol, set up/tear down, coordinator, hotel rooms, breakfast, etc.) and we could stay in 1 location throughout the full day (getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party). I can't say enough good things about them! Thank you Antrim for making our day the best day!

We had our wedding at Antrim in August 2022 and were extremely happy with the venue! They provide a beautiful location, awesome food and drinks, tables and settings, hotel rooms, and great service all-in one, which made our experience planning the wedding a lot easier. The coordinator on the day-of also helped the wedding go off without a hitch. Seriously, go to their restaurant and try the food - we were sold immediately! Antrim was also flexible in working with us when we needed to move our wedding date due to covid.

They rescheduled me date (due to covid) without charging a change of date fee like other area brides had to deal with, even though their contract clearly states they had every right to do so. It was obvious their intent in this business was to make dreams come true. It is a true 5 star experience for you and your guests you won't regret. My husband is a chef, our guest entailed a lot of chefs, every palate was pleased. They even worked with a local brewery to bring in a beer we requested.

I would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone. My husband and I got married at Antrim this past May and our wedding was absolutely perfect. Our coordinator, Katie Coon, was absolutely wonderful. She guided us on exactly what we needed to do during the entire process, making it just so easy. They obviously know exactly what they are doing so the entire process was flawless up until the big day. We needed to postpone our original wedding date due to Covid and Antrim accommodated a new date with absolutely no problem. The grounds are stunning and our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was. They have indoor and outdoor options for both the ceremony and reception which is SO IMPORTANT! Both indoor and outdoor locations are beautiful. The food is also divine- our guests were also raving about this. They have a list of preferred vendors (although you don't have to use them) which makes the entire process even more seamless when you work with vendors who have been to your venue multiple times. We really cannot say enough great things about Antrim and will remember our perfect day forever!

Our wedding coordinator, Jill, was amazing and answered all of our questions quickly and helped make this process so smooth and less stressful. The entire staff at the venue were so helpful and organized and helped make the day and night go perfectly! The food was also absolutely amazing! Every single guest continued to talk about how fantastic the hors d'oeuvres and dinner tasted! I highly suggest The Antrim for anyone who is looking to get married, it will be the best choice to make for your wedding!!

So amazing and beautiful, it was even more than we could have imagined. Between our coordinator Jill, to the amazing and professional staff, they were there 100% of the way. The entire staff helped make the day run smooth and during the pandemic, took all the steps to make sure all of our guests felt safe. The grounds are breathtaking and there are endless areas for photo opportunities. 10/10 recommend!

Antrim was willing to work with us and Katie Coon was a great asset to have as our wedding coordinator! Thank you Katie for helping us have our special day even in a COVID atmosphere! :)

I attended a wedding! It was beautiful, the scenery, the servers, the venue, and of course the food was delicious! The Rose Garden is a must-see and is by far the most beautiful venue location I have ever seen. Antrim 1844, kept the social distancing guidelines in place, making everyone feel extremely comfortable no matter what their age was. There is no doubt that this is a very upscale place filled with staff members that are very thoughtful.

We booked our wedding here for June 18, 2021. At first I would have said they were wonderful. We were assured by our contract and our event venue coordinator that our rooms would be held for us up until 10 months in advance and that Saturday brides could not stay on the Friday because of weddings that occur on Fridays. Staying the night at the venue was a big factor for us in picking a place. After booking flowers and dj and photography and sending our save the dates our wedding plans were completely ruined by Antrim. We scheduled our wedding room booking tour 11 months out and when we arrived we were told half of our rooms (20 out of 40) were given away to the Saturday bride. They blamed covid which made absolutely no sense since our wedding is next year and we are the only Friday wedding and ruined all of our plans. All they offered me was a \"whoops sorry, can we assist you in changing your date?\" It was incredibly disheartening. They offered us our money back since they went against contract. If you want a place that sticks by their word don't choose this one! Not to mention they told me I'd see my refund in about 2 months so sweet of them after ruining our entire wedding.

We just had my daughter's wedding at Antrim 1844 this past weekend and I can' t say enough wonderful things about the venue. From start of planning to the day of the wedding, Antrim was a class act and they took care of everything. The grounds are so beautiful and the food is outstanding, in fact one guest said it was the best dish he had ever eaten. With COVID creating so many complications (we had to reschedule from April), Antrim was so accommodating and worked with us every step of the way. We worked with Jill for all of our advance planning and Katie on the day of the wedding and both were great to work with. Katlynn, who handled the on site guest rooms also was a delight to deal with. I highly recommend Antrim 1844 for your ceremony and reception; it will be the best decision you will make!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! Our wedding coordinator helped us through the entire process nearly from start to finish. We had one wedding coordinator at the very beginning, but she was promoted to another field for the venue which was very understandable why we were given a new coordinator. The staff were fantastic! Everyone was very helpful especially on the day of our wedding! Everyone I was emailing/calling (coordinator, front desk, blocking rooms, etc) was very helpful with my questions especially at the 30 day countdown when all my nerves we starting to really get crazy. Absolutely love this venue and the staff!

The Antrim 1844 is a dream venue, the grounds and mansion are so beautiful! The all-inclusive package was a huge selling point to us as it takes so much stress off of having to figure out the tiny details like linens. The food at the wedding was so important to us and they absolutely knocked it out of the park; our guests still talk about it! We also loved working with Jill the wedding coordinator. She was fantastic at answering all my nervous emails and kept us on track day of. Highly recommend!!!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding than Antrim 1844. From start to finish, everything was just perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Jill, was amazing- so personable, friendly, and eager to help! Our original coordinator, Abbey, left Antrim and we had sent her some questions via email. Jill picked right up where Abbey had left off and quickly answered our questions. I was so impressed! Our guests loved the food and couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the venue is! Those who stayed the night enjoyed their stay and the breakfast tray of muffins and coffee that was left outside their door. My now husband and I thoroughly appreciated the cake slices, champagne, and rose petals in the shape of a heart that were left in our Suite!! All of the staff and Antrim do such an amazing job. I can't say anything bad about our wedding at Antrim 1844. My now husband and I just got married on Sunday, June 23, 2019 and our wedding was just magical. From the planning with our Antrim Coordinator, Jill, to the catering from the Antrim Smokehouse, to the preparations, and organization, Antrim 1844 KNOWS HOW TO DO A WEDDING. Any questions me and my husband had were already answered, any concerns we had were put at ease, and I did not have to worry about a darn thing on the morning of my wedding. Our guests raved about everything all day, and now I get to rave about the Antrim. Thank you so much for everything, and making our day just so special.

WOW! Where do I even start? This was absolutely the best venue we could have possibly chosen. The beautiful, immaculately kept, historic grounds served as the most stunning background for our special day! The staff was beyond amazing. I wish I could remember each and every name, as they all deserve a shout out! From the front desk staff, to the bell staff, to the servers, bartenders and groundskeepers - they were on top of everything start to finish, and because of this, I worried about nothing the day of, other than marrying the man of my dreams. Katie and Jordon were exceptional, and did everything to make sure our day went off without a hitch. We filled every room in the venue with our family and friends who wanted to stay overnight, and the positive feedback we receive about their rooms, and the venue as a whole, was outstanding. The food was great, and for a guest list of 130 people, that is often difficult to say. Everything was prepared to perfection! The vintage feel of the venue was the perfect complement to my wedding vision! I would highly recommend Antrim 1844 as a wedding venue to all couples looking for an out of the box, unique, rock star venue. They knocked it out of the park in every way possible!

Antrim was the third venue visit we did and my fiancé was already tired of visits at that point... the second we stepped on the grounds we both fell in love! Exactly what we wanted for something different than the usual winery or barn wedding. His favorite part was the really cool rustic, classy Pickwick Pub inside the mansion, of course. We also loved that there are so many houses and rooms right there on site for the bridal party and all of our family members to stay in the night of the wedding, which made it SO much more fun that half of our guests could stay and enjoy themselves, not having to rush out at last call when the shuttle bus was leaving at the end of the night. You basically build your own wedding day menu with the chef at Antrim, who is beyond talented, so we picked all of our favorite foods and it turned out AMAZING. Received compliments on the food for days and days after the wedding. We also did our rehearsal \"dinner\" on site, which was more of a heavy hors d'oeuvres and mingle kind of setting and Antrim was super flexible and willing to make that happen. The day after the wedding, we did brunch in the mansion also because it's included for all guests staying there. LOVED having all of our events right there on site, I wanted to use it as much as possible because it's so beautiful and unique. It can get pretty pricey when everything starts to add up, some small things like table side wine aren't included in the price per person, but it was worth it in the end. Staff is professional and helpful. Wish we could redo this day over and over again, still on cloud nine!

We had our wedding reception at the Antrim in October 2018. As Civil War reenactors and history buffs, it was very important to my husband and I that our venue have just the right blend of timeless elegance with a modern feel. The moment we walked into the Antrim's front lobby and we knew that it was the perfect place for our reception. The entire planning process was a breeze, and just knowing that every single thing was taken care of really allowed us to have an amazing day. Our coordinator, Katie, really went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly, which we were especially grateful for since our first coordinator left and Katie had to take over with about a month to go until our wedding. We really enjoyed being able to design our own menu from scratch to match our individual tastes, and our family and friends are still talking about how delicious the food was! It was such an amazing day, and every time I look at our pictures I am reminded that we made the right choice by going with the Antrim. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The Antrim 1844 is such a magical place. My parents got married at the Antrim in the Mansion in 1995, so it was already special to our family. In 2016, my now husband and I met for the first time at the Antrim at the Carrollton Hounds Hunt Ball. In 2017, we got engaged at the New Years Eve Gala in the formal gardens at midnight. So, when it came time to looking for a wedding venue, we knew that the Antrim was the perfect place. Everyone at the Antrim made our wedding day nothing short of perfect. My wedding party and I got our hair and makeup done in the Formal Dining Room before going to the bridal suite to get ready. My husband, his best man, and friends stayed in the pub before going to their suite to get ready as well. We had our first look in the snow covered formal gardens and it was perfect. Our ceremony was in the Garden Room in the Pavilion, which was set up beautifully and our guests were very comfortable.We had our cocktail hour in the Mansion, but before joining our guests, the Antrim staff set up food and beverages for the wedding party and our family to catch our breath and eat some food before mingling with our guests. This was such a wonderful time to stop and take everything in. The hors d'oeuvres were just fantastic and the atmosphere of the Mansion was wonderful. Our wedding reception was just perfect as well. The food was marvelous, the staff were all so accommodating, and we had everything we needed. My husband and I had several of our hors d'ouevres stationed at the table waiting for us at our sweetheart table along with fruit and drinks. After the meal was finished, we just danced the night away until going to the Pub for the after party. My wedding day was just an absolute dream and the Antrim did everything they could to make it perfect.

When we first toured Antrim 1844 we instantly fell in love with the venue! Working with Antrim was seamless and the wedding coordinator took the time to answer my million and one questions about the venue/food/pricing/dates etc. My day of coordinator left Antrim about two months before my wedding but she was replaced by Katie. Katie was organized and friendly so it wasn’t a big deal! The day before my wedding we got hit with a snow storm so unfortanetly the coordinator wasn’t able to make it to the venue for a rehearsal however Antrim worked with me the day of the wedding to still be able to have my perfect outside reception despite the weather! If you want a beautiful property with friendly staff definitely book Antrim 1844!

We loved Antrim 1844 so much when we first saw it in January. Fast forward to September and with the grounds all in bloom we could not have asked for a better space to get married! We did have a lot of rain on our wedding day so had to move our ceremony indoors but the staff were incredibly professional and kind, helping us and our guests with umbrellas, directions and seamlessly transitioning a planned outdoor wedding into an indoor one. Abbey and her staff were wonderful and we could not have asked for a better place! We look forward to celebrating our anniversary there for years to come!

We absolutely loved this venue and couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else. They only hold one wedding per day, so you have the entire venue to plan your dream wedding from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. Their staff is outstanding and everything they do is to help make your day run smoothly. Abbey, our wedding coordinator was responsive, attentive and her attention to detail made us feel like she had everything under control. People always say that nothing is 100% perfect for a wedding and I can say that even if ours wasn’t perfect, it sure felt like it thanks to Abbey and the staff. Our guests are still raving about the wedding, especially the food, and those who stayed at the Antrim already want to come back for a weekend get-away. Outstanding service all around! We know that we will be back for an anniversary celebration!

We were married in June 2018. Antrim 1844 is a gorgeous location with extremely professional wedding coordinators (we had Katie) and staff. The mansion and the grounds are impeccable.Our ceremony took place in the Formal Garden, and the reception took place in the Pavilion. They were very accommodating, allowing us to bring in an outside cake and use the vendors of our choice (though they do provide a list of preferred vendors, you are not obligated to use them).The bridal suite in the mansion is included at no extra charge for getting ready and for the wedding night.They were very good about getting the bridal party and immediate family out after the ceremony for pictures and making sure that the guests enjoyed cocktail hour (without them interrupting the professional photographer). During this time, we were served the drinks and hors d'oeuvres the guests were enjoying, so we didn't miss out.During the reception, we had one server dedicated solely to my new husband and me, while others took care of the 140 guests.Our guests raved about the food. It was so nice to be able to speak directly to the chef to design our menu from scratch rather than having to pick from pre-selected lists of hors d'oeuvres and entrees. We had a sparkler exit, and Antrim lit and then disposed of the sparklers after we left.I would definitely recommend Antrim 1844 to any couple looking for an elegant venue for their wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about all of the staff at Antrim. Every staff member I interacted with was extremely professional and helpful. Abbey was my day of coordinator and she made the entire planning process so much easier. She kept in contact and sent reminder emails as various things needed to be decided and was quick to respond to my emails. On the day of my wedding she was so helpful in making sure all of my other vendors were getting set up. It rained on my wedding day and Abbey helped me in watching the weather forecast and letting me wait until the absolute last minute to make the decision to move my ceremony inside. All of the staff even escorted my guests from the ceremony space to the cocktail hour with umbrellas since the rain started during my ceremony so my guests didn't get soaked! The food at Antrim was absolutely delicious! They were very accommodating of my guests' food allergies and all my guests raved about the food. The venue itself is gorgeous with beautiful gardens and building that make great backdrops for pictures. I could not be happier with my decision to get married at Antrim!

My husband and I would give Antrim 1844 ten stars if possible! From our first contact with the venue we were made to feel special. Abbey was responsive and incredibly patient with our numerous questions. Antrim is all-inclusive (food + drink, ceremony site, and reception) but we loved the flexibility to be creative with the menu and decor. We really appreciated the plan B rain option even though we didn't need to use it (thank goodness!). Abbey was so calm on the day of the wedding that I felt comfortable turning everything over and preparing for the ceremony with my bridal party. Between Abbey and our florist, Jackie, the ceremony and reception decor turned out even better than I envisioned. Our guests that stayed on-site loved the property. My family stayed in one of the houses and it was the perfect central meeting point. The service was top-notch, the food was phenomenal (our guests wouldn't stop raving about the crab cakes and everything else!), and the property was so beautiful. We married in early June and the grounds were perfect with the roses and other flowers. We visited around Christmas and it was beautiful at that time too - you really can't go wrong with hosting your wedding here!

Our early October wedding at Antrim was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony in the formal gardens and it was a bright, sunny day. Our start time was 4pm so the sun was shining directly on the garden - I would definitely suggest sunglasses to your guests! We had a cocktail hour in the mansion and lawn and the reception in the pavilion. Our wedding was on the smaller side, about 70 guests, so having the dance floor and all of our tables in the same space worked well for us. In the garden room, we had the seating chart, guest book, favors, and gifts tables, as well as some additional seating for the older guests who may need a break from the music. We planned our wedding from another state, but between emails and phone calls, and maybe two trips to the Antrim, things turned out just the way we hoped. The food was incredible and even better than the night of our menu tasting! The Boucher suite is incredible and I wish we had more time in it. All of our guests were very pleased with their rooms and hospitality. I would do this day over again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend Antrim 1844.

Antrim 1844 was fantastic, beautiful, and accommodating. Abbey was incredibly responsive, helpful, and patient. My husband and I work 60 hour weeks, and had little time to really plan, but Abby, and Antrim were so patient, giving great advice and helping us through the process. The wedding reception went off with out any issues, and everyone could (and cannot) stop complimenting the venue and the staff. I highly recommend this venue if you are young professionals looking for a unique, beautiful, and antique venue. Of note, the food was a direct reflection of our different backgrounds, which made everyone in both families so happy. It was great that my husband and I were provided a plate of our hors d'oeuvre at the beginning of the sit down dinner, as we spend more of the cocktail hour greeting guests. Also, it was a pleasant surprise when we got to our room that there was a dessert plate (it definitely came in handy, as we were actually talking about how badly we wanted a snack). As I mentioned earlier, I highly recommend this venue for a stress free day!

There is nothing I can say about Antrim that hasn't been mentioned in one of the other reviews. The facilities are absolutely stunning. Our guests are still calling us to rave about the Christmas decorations. It is a gorgeous place to hold an event. Seriously, if you are planning a winter wedding, go by sometime after Thanksgiving and see what they do to the place. It'll take your breath away.We had a slight problem early on that our day of coordinator moved to a new career and didn't contact us to let us know. As soon as Abbey realized, though, she took over and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. She answered every phone call and email within 24 hours. She took the time to answer every single question we had and worked as our advocate. You can tell that you love what she does.The restaurant manager (Greg) was friendly and helpful, meeting with us multiple times to create and taste the menu. He was beyond patient with us through all of our questions. He knows his food and wine and we couldn't picture working with anyone else.Only thing we'd caution: review your room contracts very carefully. We had several issues with getting the right rooms when we wanted them. That was the only (very slight) drawback in an otherwise perfect weekend.

We got married at Antrim in December and our coordinator was Abbey. The staff at Antrim were absolutely amazing. When we initially booked our wedding coordinator was Beth and the rooming representative was Jasmyn. They then left and Abbey fit right in seemlessly like they never left. We did have some issues with our rooming contract since they changed people, but the manage Jonathan Carow as well as Abbey made sure we were taken care of. Leading up to the wedding, Abbey was always so responsive in answering all my questions and if she didn't know an answer would always follow up when she had one. The day of the wedding everything went perfectly. Abbey made sure I did not have to worry about anything, from having breakfast delivered to us while getting hair and makeup done, to making sure we were on time, it was perfect. We received so many compliments on how seemlessly the day went as well as how beautiful the venue was, and all of our guests LOVED the food!When the wedding was over they set out a slice of cake from each of our tiers since we had different flavors, my bouquet, rose petals, and a small bottle of champagne for us to end the night. Antrim was beautiful to get married at and if we were to do it all over again would still go with Antrim!

This was the first place i looked at and the last. Antrim provides you with everything, and there are no hidden costs. They provide the food, alcohol, rentals, wedding planner, room for bride and groom, and peace of mind. After i found them, there wasn't much else left for me to do. The staff is so helpful and polite, and I cant wait to come back for our anniversary. It is the most beautiful location i could have asked for to make my wedding absolutely magical.

I got married at Antrim a little over 2 months ago. I really wanted to give Antrim 5 stars, but there were a few things that just made the experience a little less positive. I loved the venue itself, it's beautiful. They do really try to make you feel like you are having a very special experience. Our chef was amazing, everyone raved about the food. The service was amazing, no one waited for dinner, there were plenty of appetizers, and the dessert was brought out at a good time. I emailed our wedding coordinator almost daily a month away from the wedding and she always responded kindly and quickly.But here are a few things that I had issues with.Our assigned wedding planner left Antrim, which is normal in the industry, but no one told us until a month later after repeated attempts on my end for about a month to contact her. Our original chef left as well, but we ended up loving our new one. I'm pretty sure there was a wedding scheduled the same day as mine, after we were told they only do one wedding at a time. When the dancing started I was looking for our wedding coordinator to see if we could move some tables around to open up the floor and I was told she left, it was not that late in the night so that surprised me, I would have wanted her to let me know she was leaving and who to contact if I had issues. Overall I was happy with our experience, and it was an amazing day. All of my guests had an amazing as did I!

The Antrim was a beautiful location for our August wedding - we couldn't have picked a better venue! We fell in love with the Antrim on our first tour and it did not disappoint on the wedding day! We looked at many venues and one of the reasons we chose the Antrim was because the indoor rain ceremony option is also beautiful. We were lucky to have perfect weather on the wedding day but we were happy knowing both options were beautiful backdrops. The buildings and grounds are so amazing and we loved how the Antrim was a \"one stop shop\" for many wedding items: hotel rooms for guests, space for hair and make up, breakfast the day after, lunch for the bridal party, after party bar, and late night snacks. We mostly worked with Tammy who was very professional and responsive to our many questions! We loved how we could design our own wedding menu as opposed to selecting from a list of options. The food was so delicious and we enjoyed trying it in the restaurant before the wedding. We know we will be spending many anniversaries at the Antrim!

My husband and I got married at Antrim 1844 this past June and had an absolutely wonderful experience from the moment we booked the venue to the morning after our wedding. Everyone at the Antrim was very accommodating and quick to answer all of our questions especially with regards to rooming since we had many guests coming from out of town. This place is truly unique and has SO much history and is perfect for anyone who wants a romantic and vintage-esque wedding. Abbey was our coordinator and was great. She was always available to answer questions and made our day go seamlessly! She provided us with a list of their preferred vendors and we ended up using many of them and had great experiences. The food was one of our favorite experiences at the Antrim. We met with the chef and worked with him to create an entirely personalized menu. Antrim includes a full menu tasting: all of your hors d'oeuvres, salad (or soup), main dish and desserts in their Smokehouse restaurant. All of our guests were very pleased with their meal and the staff's extensive knowledge of wine (check out their cellar!) and the venue's history.Our guests that spent the night were treated to a gourmet breakfast in the restaurant and it felt like we were having a mini reception :) We would definitely recommend The Antrim for any wedding!!!

Our wedding at Antrim was absolutely perfect. My fiance and I could not be more pleased with the venue, the food, the rooms and the service. It was a perfect backdrop for our photos and the whole day from beginning to end was a dream. Our ceremony was in the formal gardens, and we didn't even need our own decorations, because the flowers and fountains were so stunning. We loved that we got to enjoy our dinner in the restaurant months prior to the wedding, to fully enjoy the menu- since of course we did not get to try everything during the reception! The small attention to detail was so appreciated- from the small private cocktail reception for us and our bridal party to celebrate before taking photos, to at the end of the night finding my bouquet thoughtfully placed on the Bridal Suite bed along with cupcakes from the reception. Tammy was our coordinator, and she was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she organized, calm, and in control- she was so kind. I could tell she cared about us and our special day, and she was constantly checking in on me. By the end of the night I felt like she was my own personal wedding fairy godmother :) We are so grateful for her hard work and compassionate nature. Our wedding day at Antrim was the most joyful and beautiful way to begin our lives as husband and wife. We wish we could do it all over again!

The venue was beautiful and the food is truly amazing. We picked the place base on feedback on the food and the gorgeous atmosphere. We were not disappointed. Not only was the food great but the service was amazing. The Antrim team did everything they could to make my day special and make sure I was taken care of. From making sure I didn't faint to making sure I had my flowers they were amazing. Abbey did an amazing job. She came in two months out when my previous planner quit and she really worked hard to make sure my vision was executed. I am a control freak so I never give up control when planning events so my husband was shocked to see that I gave everything over to Abbey. But when you have a superstar for a planner thats what you do. She delivered the wedding of my dreams and made sure I was taken care of all night long. I recommend everyone going to Antrim 1844. They have the food, atmosphere and service down 100%. We will be going back for our anniversary every year.

We got married on 04/08/2017 at Antrim 1844. It's a beautiful place with several places to have your outdoor reception. There is indoor reception area available as well. All of our family members and friends loved the place and had the most amazing time. You can't go wrong with Antrim 1844, from food selection to all the helps that you are getting from them, it definitely makes your whole wedding planning easier. There are few things to note about Antrim 1844. First is the coordinator. Our coordinator was Abby. She was exceptional. During the planning phases, she was very quick to respond to our questions and any of our needs before the wedding. And on the wedding day, she was there for everything; from helping us lined up for the walk and where to stand to coordination with all of our vendors to make sure they have everything they need for the day. The second is the food. The food is really really good. We got creative with our food selection and served duck cuisine or vegetable stack along with very interesting h'orderves. Our guests loved it. We just had really awesome experience with Antrim 1844 and its staff! Thank you so much!

We are so happy we chose Antrim as our wedding venue. Trish really helped make sure everything came together beautifully. We were immediately drawn to Antrim because it is such a beautiful place, but the staff are also extremely professional and all of the details made our day so perfect. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Antrim, so all of my wedding party stayed in the mansion the night before the wedding. We got a preview of the quality of their amazing food at the rehearsal, and then got to hang out at Pickwick Pub, where we had our after party as well. Getting ready with my bridesmaids in the bridal suite was one of my favorite parts of the day. The Boucher Suite is beautiful and HUGE, with 2 balconies and 2 bathrooms, one of which was large enough to basically transform into a salon for doing hair and make-up. We had so many cute pictures getting ready and going out on the balconies (where I could see them setting up for the ceremony!). We had our ceremony in the gardens, and fortunately the weather was perfect! But I felt better that Antrim was ready for \"Plan B\" if we had poor weather. The garden room in the reception hall is also a beautiful place for a ceremony. Our guests had cocktail hour in the mansion and gardens while we took our photos, and then our reception was in the reception hall. The food was fantastic, and everyone was really pleased with the bar options. Trish coordinated with all of our vendors to make everything run smoothly. We were able to provide some snacks (guacamole and macaroni bites!) and a cash bar in the pub in the mansion for our after party, which was a great way to end the night. Choosing Antrim for our wedding was the best decision we made, and I am so excited to return for our anniversary in the coming years!

My husband and I LOVED Antrim 1844. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We chose the venue not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because it is dog-friendly! Having our two furbabies being able to participate in the ceremony really made the whole event even more special. All of our guests had a wonderful time and kept commenting on how beautiful Antrim is. Also, we absolutely have to mention that the service was wonderful. Our planner, Beth, was REMARKABLE. Her ability to pay attention to detail, patience, etc. is honestly the BEST part about working with Antrim!

Antrim 1844 is the most amazing, picturesque, and magical venue for a wedding! We were treated so well, and felt so special, during all phases of planning, coordination, and throughout the entire wedding. Trish Flora, our event manager, was amazing. She took care of all details, and made sure everything was done correctly. She spent a lot of personal time with us, was professional, fun, and kick-ass. We are now great friends! The food is amazing, and my guests said that this was the most fun, beautiful wedding they ever attended. I recommend Antrim for your wedding! The staff took care of us for our entire wedding weekend there. They made sure we didn't miss out on any of the amazing appetizers and even our cake, as we were so busy with photos and mingling. I would 100% recommend the Antrim 1844. It was one of the highlights of our wedding! You get a lot for your money and all of it high quality. They treated us like royalty from the moment we were on the premises. The food was the best wedding food we've ever had (which we got to handpick anything we wanted with fantastic Chef Spencer). Our guests loved it too and are still raving about the whole experience. The Antrim is one of those rare venues where everything is included in your price (and it actually is), which is not the norm for other venues. Also, you get a wedding coordinator as part of the price - we got Beth Hnatio-Pumphrey and she is AMAZING. I am an Events Planner, so I needed someone I would trust absolutely to run my wedding and she did a fabulous job. Oh, and the rooms and grounds are beautiful! There are a lot of special spots to take photos. As an Events Planner, believe me, I looked for the catch and never found it. I can't say enough good things about the Antrim 1844.

Getting married at Antrim was a complete dream. We were treated like royalty throughout the entire process especially on the wedding day. Throughout our wedding day our needs were met before we even realized they existed. Our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing the wedding day was. The food, the staff, the venue - everything was beyond my expectations! We had rain 30 minutes before the ceremony and thankfully it stopped and the staff quickly wiped down the seats. In the package you get an amazing custom dinner and a coordinator throughout the process, specifically day of. Our coordinator, Trish, was amazing. She really kept the whole day running perfectly and seemed to be everywhere at once. I wish we could get married over and over at Antrim!

I truly cannot explain how amazing our ceremony and reception was at Antrim. We started this process having no idea what we wanted or needed, and Beth from Antrim worked with us at every step of the way to make sure that our day ran smoothly. She was in contact with us whenever we had a question, and answered everything--even those things I felt dumb asking. Without Beth, my husband and I would have been beyond lost.The venue itself was lovely. We had to move inside at the last minute, due to incredibly hot temperatures. While disappointed we weren't outside, the new ceremony location was open and still very nice. The gardens were amazing to take photos in, and the mansion itself is incredible. Our suite to get ready in, and then to stay in overnight, was amazing. The 8:00 AM muffins and coffee, while on a balcony overlooking the gardens, was a perfect way to start the morning after the wedding. The food was incredible, and my only regret is not eating more hor dourves. My coworkers are still raving about how good it all was. Our vegetarian option was gnocchi, and it was somehow better than my Italian great-grandmother's. Overall, our wedding was made perfect by the attention to detail and care provided at Antrim. I would highly recommend it as a venue to all brides looking for one!

My wedding day was fantastic, but the Antrim as a wedding venue was simply alright. I'm surprised more past reviews don't reflect my experience.When preparing for the day, our coordinator took quite a while to respond back to us and overall seemed very unenthused about helping us make the most out of this day. I understand that to these people it is simply their job, but it would have been nice for her to treat planning my wedding not so much like a chore. The gravel in the rose garden made it very difficult to walk down, plus the fact that my dress had a train and kept threatening to get caught in the narrow walkway as I made it to the alter was very nerve-wracking. Our reception was also outside in the evening, and we could see guests of the hotel and people there for dinner walking around the rose garden when we were taking photos; it wasn't very charming.My last complaint is one that every wedding vendor should get, and that's the fact that so many little things are not included. Why can they not have table numbers for you to borrow, why not have candle holders that they can bring out for people if they want them, why is uplighting not a constant presence? It would not cost them much money to share these things with people, and those small touches would really be grand.That being said, it was pretty, the staff were nice, and the food was pretty good. But goodness with all those little issues adding up I can't believe we paid so incredibly much for that venue experience.

Antrim is a fabulous place to get married.They offer a variety of options to customize your wedding to fit your personality and budget.The venue is breathtakingly idyllic, with its slew of historic buildings, vast lawns, and lush English-style garden.We chose Antrim as our wedding venue for a variety of reasons, from the food to the atmosphere.But the staff wound up being the most impressive aspect.When you select Antrim as your venue, there are several staff members working with you to ensure that you get a personalized experience.Chef Wolff is fantastic at creating a menu that reflects your personalities but will also work on a large scale.Lance, who is in charge of the rooming, makes the somewhat daunting guest room policy a breeze and was very easy to work with.Greg, in charge of the bar portion, spelled out our options and helped us choose drinks that would pair with our food and appeal to a wide audience.Iris, our head server (who we met during a dinner date prior to our wedding), was fantastic! She made sure all of our guests were happy and having fun.But Trish, our coordinator, really takes the cake. She was absolutely incredible. From day one she made sure I was comfortable asking questions and discussing details with her. She was always available for whatever I needed, whether it was a simple answer or a soothing pep talk. On the day of our wedding I felt comfortable handing everything over to her (a big deal for me...type A all the way).Our Big Day was everything we'd imagined and more!Trish made sure everything ran smoothly, and the entire staff made our guests feel welcomed and comfortable.The food was phenomenal, from cocktail appetizers to entrees.We had a blast and enjoyed every single second of our wedding day.This venue was worth every single penny we spent on it and left a lasting impression with us and all of our wedding guests.3000 characters cannot express how happy we are that we chose Antrim.We have gotten so many compliments from our guests and can honestly say we have nothing negative to say.We look forward to revisiting each year on our anniversary!

Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel provided a wonderful ceremony and reception venue for our recent wedding. Beth, our wedding coordinator, was a delight to work with, not to mention professional and efficient. The front desk, including Lance and Denise, were also a pleasure to work with, as was all the wait staff. We worked with Chef Wolff on the menu. He was easy to work with, giving us some great ideas and the food was delicious. Many of our wedding guests spent one or more nights at the Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel, allowing them the opportunity to fully enjoy the unique and special venue, while being in close proximity to the wedding. Our guests were delighted with the accommodations. My husband and I could not be happier with Antrim 1844 and look forward to future visits, to celebrate our anniversary and other special occasions.

This venue really made my wedding day complete. From the look to the people who work there, it could not have gone any smoother. I did not feel one ounce of stress the entire day or time leading up to the occasion! \r\rElizabeth Fortier, our day of coordinator, was unbelievably helpful and took such great care of us! I trusted her advice and she literally took the reins day of. I had to make sure I got my marriage certificate to the officiant and I was able to call Elizabeth who stopped by the bridal suite to get it. A bridesmaid's dress ripped open before the ceremony and Elizabeth sewed her in! I, personally didn't want any one to see me before the ceremony and Elizabeth made sure guests cleared the way before I entered any room. She was so sweet and knowledgeable! It is honestly unbelievable that the Antrim INCLUDES a day of coordinator in the actual wedding package. Elizabeth was priceless for both me and my husband, as well as, my family.\r\rThe venue itself is so gorgeous! You really can't go wrong. There are also so many different locations you can use for all of the events of the day. The options are endless. \r\rThe food was delectable! I had guests coming up to me saying it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding! \r\rAll in all, the Antrim will always be number 1 in my book! They cease to amaze my husband and I in every possible way and we wouldn't have changed a thing!

I recently got married at the Antrim 1844 on August 1, 2015, and I can honestly say, I would not have chosen any other venue. The Antrim was absolutely perfect! Trish Flora was our coordinator, and she was spectacular to work with, as she attended to every detail throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and of course on the wedding day. My entire wedding was tailored and planned according to how I envisioned it, and the Antrim staff far exceeded my expectations, weaving in their own touches of luxury and finesse. Everything from the excellent food, to the romantic ambiance, to the impeccable personable service, to the beautiful grounds was far beyond anything I ever dreamed of for my wedding day. The Antrim embodies classical, Victorian elegance that cannot be found anywhere else, so I would highly recommend this beautiful, historical venue to anyone. All of my guests are still raving about how amazing the wedding was, and they said they would certainly return on their own for a weekend getaway. I know my husband and I will be spending every anniversary at this magical place where we made the most incredible memories of our lives. Thank you to everyone at the Antrim for making my wedding day a fairy tale. Thank you for your commitment to fine dining, elegant tradition, and unsurpassed customer service. Wow, the Antrim exceeded all of my expectations for a wedding venue.The staff at Antrim made our wedding day the best day ever. Elizabeth was extremely helpful and organized from the beginning of the process all the way until the morning after the wedding. (one of my favorite pictures is of her on the sideline opening up a package of bubbles for the ring barriers. She is amazing at her job) All of our guests raved about how gorgeous the property is, how delicious the food was ,and how fun the ice cream bar was.The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The Antrim felt like home. Thank you to everyone who worked to make our special day the best it could be. Forever thankful. Much love to the staff at Antrim. We can't wait to come back and celebrate a few anniversaries.

Great venue for a very beautiful wedding. My wedding was great, and everything went very smoothly. Trish did an amazing job coordinating everything. The venue has amazing views for pictures. The only thing about the venue is that it's very rigid when it comes to the number of people. We had a hard time getting 80 people, which was the venue minimum as well as 25 people for rehearsal brunch. We ended up paying full price for minimum amount of guests required despite being short a few guests. \r\rSome of the benefits of this venue are: beautiful scenery, and multiple picture opportunities; includes catering and day of coordinator, which are a BIG plus and a lot less headache while planning, no need for excessive flower arrangements: the venue has tons of beautiful flowers already, so very minimal decorations are needed.

Antrim 1844 was a great place to have all of our wedding guests stay. We loved that everyone could stay at the wedding venue, and not have anyone drive after an open bar wedding. I was a little bummed that they don't offer a discount for contracting rooms for the wedding, as their prices are higher than most others in the area, however it worked out. It was nice to have the wake up trays in the morning, and then enjoy breakfast with all of our wedding guests in the restaurant too.

My husband and I got married at the Antrim on July 3, 2015 and we were so blessed to be able to have it at the Antrim. Everything was so beautiful and the day was flawless. Our wedding coordinator, Beth, was fantastic and our day was stress free. The food was delicious- my guests would not stop complementing the appetizers, salad, and main dish. The rose garden is a perfect ceremony location and easily fit my 130 guests. I would highly recommend the Antrim!

We selected Antrim 1844 because of its beautiful and charming setting. Beth Pumphrey, Antrim's Wedding Coordinator, guided us through the entire process. Beth was super organized and pleasure to work with. The result was a beautiful \"Storybook Like\" Garden Wedding! Dinner and Hor doerves were delicious and beautifully presented. We received loads of compliments during the wedding reception and after. We stayed the night and hosted a Brunch the next morning for our out of town guests.\rThe hotel and restaurant staff were professional and helpful. I highly recommend Antrim 1844 for any special occasion and especially for weddings.

My wife and I had looked at a number of venues in the DC area. Antrim was the last, and was absolutely heads above the rest. We fell in love with the manor house, pub, and of course all of the grounds. It didn't take us long to lock down our date. Leading up to the wedding the Antrim staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. In particular, our day-of coordinator Elizabeth Fortier was encouraging, helpful, and a life saver. It is clear she and the rest of the staff have everything under control, and above all, are very professional. She helped us get detailed planned to a tee, leaving us feel very confident. We opted to have our rehearsal dinner on-site as well as have family stay on the grounds. Antrim again was very accommodating. We were BLOWN AWAY by the professionalism of the staff, who were also very personable and remembered us when we visited several months after our September wedding. Antrim's kitchen was also incredible, serving an unbeatable rehearsal dinner and wedding meal. Sitting down the Chef Spencer really allowed us to build a meal that used seasonal tastes (people were talking about the meal months after the wedding!). The grounds are immaculate and it is clear how serious the staff take the upkeep. We loved the small breakfast delivered to our rooms each morning, and the many spots to sit and relax outside. Antrim helped make our wedding nothing but memorable. There is no other place we could have possible considered for our wedding venue!

I had my rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all at the Antrim. First of all I have been going to the Antrim with my family since I was 16 for birthdays/ anniversaries/ other special occasions and I knew the Antrim was the only place I wanted to get married. The Antrim is absolutely breathtaking during all the seasons. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I've never had anything but exceptional meals at the Antrim. \r Trish, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with!! Trish is very professional and knowledgeable. Trish was always available to answer any questions I had, was able to give great recommendations and the best part is she was super calm and was able to resolve any issues/conflicts that came up during the rehearsal and the wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Trish, loved her!!! \r Rehearsal was a perfect start to the wedding weekend, food was amazing and we even were able to have a whole room to ourselves. \r Of course getting married on the biggest snow day of the year will always present some challenges. I had major issues with the shuttle I contracted with (no relationship with the Antrim) to bring my guests, however, Trish took care of everything and made sure guests arrived and were picked up afterwards. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. Chef Spencer provided amazing food, soo many guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The reception was absolutely beautiful, the staff were amazing, Rita our bartender was an absolute gem. There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about my experience with the Antrim; I would highly recommend the Antrim, it is truly a magical place.

Five stars is not enough for the Antrim. My now-wife and I spent many weekends looking for the perfect venue to host our wedding and we found it. The wedding was on Sunday, 10-12-14 (Columbus Day weekend) and we rented all of the Antrim’s rooms, including a number of rooms on Saturday for the rehearsal dinner. \rElizabeth was fantastic. From her patience with us and the hundreds of questions we asked leading up to the wedding to her preparedness and diligence during the rehearsal and the ceremony, she has to be the best wedding coordinator/planner ever. She managed to keep us (and our families) informed, calm, and focused on what the day was really about- getting married, spending time with the people we love, and having fun. A bonus was that she got to know us well enough that every vendor she recommended wound up being someone we were comfortable with and used- it made our lives a lot easier and reduced our stress to know that we had Elizabeth to hold our hand through the process. \rOne of the best things about the Antrim is basically being able to pick the food and wine you want. Spencer, the chef, was accommodating and created a delicious meal for us twice (rehearsal and then for the reception). I had the opportunity to work with the restaurant manager (Greg) on wine selections and he found exactly what we wanted, including a Spanish cider that was meaningful to my wife’s family (from Spain)- and he didn’t charge us a dollar more for it. \rWe did not have a single problem with the service we received from the staff. Perhaps the icing on the cake is that the venue itself is beautiful. We’d probably been there a dozen times before the day of the wedding and still managed to find a new nook or cranny everywhere we looked. Our friends and family raved about the wedding and how perfect it was, and many said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We could not have been happier with our choice.

This venue is absolutely beatiful! The entire package includes ceremony, reception, catering and bar. We were going for a vintage/garden theme with our wedding so this definitely fit all of the requirements. Our guests could not stop complimenting on how beautiful the venue was. And that our wedding was the best they've ever been to. I highly recommend staying at the venue in one of the mansion bedrooms. We had the mansion booked for the whole weekend for our parents and the wedding party. This allowed us to have breakfast together every morning and for everyone to already be at the venue for the rehearsal dinner. The food was excellent. Best food I've had in a really long time. Definitely not your typically bland wedding food. I know we'll be returning to the Antrim to celebrate our future anniversaries.

Amazing, cozy accommodations with an amazing restaurant and bar on the premises. A quintessential inn with tall, stately beds (as in, you will likely need to use a step to get into bed!) and doting staff, Antrim is brimming with charm. If you anticipate you will have several guests who will stay at Antrim, you may rent an entire cottage (about 3-5 rooms per cottage) so that your guests all stay together.\r\rWould not recommend for elderly guests or guests with mobility issues as there are several rooms with steep and/or narrow stairs.

Everything at Antrim 1844 was perfect, from planning, tasting, our numerous requests to walk the property as we planned our decor, through our checkout from the hotel the morning after our reception. Attention to detail, planning advice the entire way through the process, and the hospitality we received each time we went on property was beyond amazing. Everyone we worked with on property was kind, approachable, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable in their area. You really feel cared for as you go through the planning process!\r\rThe food is the best I've ever had (our guests are still raving about it!), the property is immaculate and beautiful, and they really do everything in their power to make you and your guests feel well-taken care of. Yes, it seems a bit pricier than some other venues, but when you consider that you barely have to lift a finger once you set foot on property, and they handle the event managing, coordinate with all of your other vendors, and handle the linens, food, bar, and drinks all within your contract, it's really an amazing deal! Staying at Antrim the night of our wedding was really special, and we felt like royalty... a truly amazing experience. \r\r

I held my reception at Antrim in July 2014. It was truly the location of my dreams (outside of the Palace of Versailles!). I was drawn to Antrim for several reasons: The STUNNING manicured gardens, the bountiful and colorful flowers, the one stop shop all-inclusive venue coordination, the ability for our guests to spend the night, the fact that they host one wedding per day, the ability for our guests to roam around the grounds rather than be stuck in one room, and finally, the hospitality of the venue. \r\rFrom the first visit my fiance and I made to Antrim, we were absolutely in awe with every aspect of what we saw. We were led on a knowledgable tour of the grounds by our coordinator, who facilitated day-of coordination and contact of vendors. We chose our wedding day 9 months out and never looked back. Along the way, we visited Antrim several times to plan our menu, taste the menu, plan decor, and do a logistical walk-through with the coordinator. Each time we came, it was like a dream. \r\rThe wedding day was magical. The only thing I wish for is that we could have had more time in the day. But, even if there were 48 hours in a day, I would probably have wanted more! We felt totally taken care of and all of our personal touches were executed perfectly. In example, we set up a sangria bar with the restaurant manager, Greg. Our guests RAVED about them! We also gave detailed instructions on how our decor should be set up; Each instruction was followed to the \"T\". Everything was just so beautiful. The food was just as delicious as it was on our tasting day. \r\rThere were a few hiccups along the way, however. We had one particular server during our menu tasting that was less than stellar. I had arranged in advance to pay for my parents to accompany my fiance and I to the tasting, but the server handed my parents the check, with their tabs included, and asked them to remember to tip on the full amount. I was horrified. But, the situation was immediately resolved after speaking with my coordinator and Greg. I was very appreciative for their care. There was also a grumpy front desk staff member that was less than kind to my parents the night of the wedding when they asked for an extra blanket. It was just so weird to meet these people at Antrim because EVERYONE else was just so perfect and an ace at customer service! A couple of bad eggs could not ruin our experience, though! \r\rIn the end, I would not hesitate to hold my reception at Antrim again. I wish I could get stuck in a wedding purgatory, where I could do it over and over again :). My fiance and I look forward to returning there on our anniversaries.
