Aqua Turf Club is a wedding venue located in Plantsville, CT. This remarkable property is a peaceful waterfront property that offers couples an unforgettable setting to host the wedding of their dreams. With over 35 acres of natural beauty, this establishment is an ideal choice for newlyweds and their loved ones to gather and celebrate life’s precious milestones. At Aqua Turf Club, couples are invited to choose from a number of event spaces to host their ceremony and reception gatherings. Photo opportunities abound throughout the property with its water features, landscaping, and surrounding lakeside views. The Chapel in the Pines is a rustic chapel that boasts a romantic and warm ambiance, allowing couples to wed in an unforgettable and intimate setting. After you have exchanged vows, you will be led to your choice of banquet hall for an evening of dinner and dancing. Each of the venue’s four ballrooms can be decorated and customized to suit your needs and can accommodate an impressive dance floor and dining tables. The team at Aqua Turf Club will work diligently to ensure that every element of your day is carefully considered and expertly executed. The in-house event coordinating team will work closely with you to provide you with a stress-free planning experience. On the day of your event, you are welcome to prepare for your festivities in the comfort of the venue’s Get Ready Suite. A number of all-inclusive packages are available that can include catering and bar services. Set-up and clean-up will be taken care of by the friendly staff, allowing you to relax and focus on enjoying your day. To ensure that every guest has access to the property, parking is available at this wheelchair-accessible venue.

Wow! I don't even have enough words to describe how amazing our wedding was at Aqua Turf! Our wedding was June 3rd, 2023 and we want to keep reliving the day over and over again. We worked with Alyssa throughout our entire wedding process and she was nothing short of amazing! I had WAY too many questions while planning and she answered every question in a timely manner and explained everything perfectly that I needed to know. Fast forward to our wedding day, they set up our wedding the exact way we were dreaming of. It was such an amazing day. We haven't stopped hearing amazing things from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had! Also need to give a shout out to Sean, who was our Maitre d', who made our day perfect! I wasn't stressed in the slightest and we knew we were in good hands. If you're considering having your wedding here, I wouldn't waste another second thinking about it! We couldn't have been more happy on our wedding day. Thank you again for Aqua Turf for a day that we will never forget!

The best day EVER!!! From start to finish planning our wedding at the Aqua Turf Club was the best experience. Our coordinator Alyssa took time out to explain everything in detail and also took the time to answer ALL of my questions. Our Maitre’d Ryan and head server were the BEST, they made sure we took time to eat, brought food and drinks to the bridal suite when we were taking pictures and made sure the whole night went smoothly. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. Every single person we talked to raved about how perfectly the filet was cooked. A top notch place with beautiful grounds for pictures - I will recommend the Aqua Turf to everyone. I truly wish we could re-do our wedding again because it was that great!

We used the Aqua Turf for off site catering and bar. Bobby was awesome to work with from day 1 but wedding day… speechless. Bri and Bobby were on top of EVERYTHING every second and the wait staff and bar tenders were all AMAZING! Everyone was so nice and so personable. You get so much from the Aqua turf for the price and we could not recommend them enough! All of our guests were raving about the food, the staff, and the drinks. We are so so so happy we chose the Aqua Turf and would recommend them to anyone

I was a bit nervous about having my wedding somewhere that many people had their weddings, only because I didn’t want it being “typical”. I was very happily mistaken. The Aqua Turf was the absolute perfect place to have my wedding. We got married in the chapel and had our reception in the wagon room. It was the most beautiful venue, everything was taken care of, we had to worry about NOTHING. It was so amazing to not have to think and just enjoy our day. Thank you so much to the amazing staff. The food was great, drinks were great, it really could not have been better. I won’t ever stop recommending them!

Nailed it is an understatement! We fell in love with this venue when we went for a New Years Eve party a few years back. We knew we wanted to get married here and they did not disappoint. We originally booked for 2020 but ultimately had to move the date to 2021 due to covid. We changed the date, the room, and at the VERY last minute the package and no one at Aqua Turf Club batted an eye with any request we had. The room was BEAUTIFUL, food was DELICIOUS and the staff was PHENOMENAL. Can't say enough great things about this venue. Beyond thrilled we used them for our ceremony and reception.

I can hardly put into words how happy we are to have chosen the Aqua Turf as our wedding reception venue. From the very beginning, they were responsive to any questions I had and helped with anything I needed. Once the pandemic hit, they tried to ease my mind despite no one knowing what was going to happen in the coming months/year. They made it clear that they were extremely flexible in terms of postponing or cancelling our event at any time, and even reserved us a second room that was available in case we ended up needing more space.We did end up postponing from August 2020 to May 2021 and they even honored our original pricing. They worked with us on everything and calmed me down every time I had a concern about table sizes, room minimums, timing, etc. On our wedding day, everything was beautiful and seamless. The food and service was fantastic and the Viennese table can’t be beat! None of the staff was anything less than professional and accommodating even though they have been going through a hard hit just like everyone else. Extra special thanks to Lauren for giving us the tour and helping us book, Bobby and Karen for being so responsive even when they were closed down over the winter, and Larry for managing our event and making sure everything moved along on time. The Aqua Turf is full of true professionals that know exactly what they are doing and truly care about their clients and guests, and we are so fortunate to have had our reception there!

We planned to have our wedding at the Aqua Turf on August 29th 2020 but due to my sick grandmother who cannot fly we decided to have a destination wedding and come to here.This was not an easy decision because we did love the venue but If any future bride is interested in having their wedding at the Aqua Turf on August 29, 2020. Feel free to book the date ASAP. Btw the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we didn’t get to have the wedding there to know the full experience.

We just had our wedding yesterday at the Aqua Turf and WOW! It was everything we wanted and more! Alyssa was our coordinator and she was amazing, from the initial meeting, answering all the questions in between, and all the way up to day before! We got married in the chapel and it was adorable, highly recommend having your ceremony there! The service was amazing, Andrew made sure everything was running smoothly and couldn't be more attentive to myself and husband entire day! Everbody was so accommodating from the minute the limo pulled in all the way to the last dance! All our guests were saying how beautiful the place was and the food....oh wow, the food was absolutely delicious! We did the buffet option and there was plenty of food and was constantly refreshed! Overall, I highly, highly recommend the Aqua Turf for your wedding, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Aqua Turf for one of the best days ever! =)

Picking the Aqua Turf for our reception was the best decision we ever made. We worked with Alyssa C. who was absolutely amazing!! We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Aqua Turf. We had our reception in Kay’s Pier South, and Eddie was our Maitre D. He was so attentive and always available for whatever we needed during the day. Our guests were so amazed when they were offered SECONDS of their meals, which were already LARGE portions, and they all couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was. Numerous guests even told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Needless to say, we can’t wait to recommend Aqua Turf to our friends and family - we can’t wait to attend a wedding there!

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at Aqua Turf. We had our reception in Kay’s Pier South, and Eddie was our Maitre D. He was so attentive and always available for whatever we needed during the day. Our guests were so amazed when they were offered SECONDS of their meals, which were already LARGE portions, and they all couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was. Numerous guests even told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Needless to say, we can’t wait to recommend Aqua Turf to our friends and family - we can’t wait to attend a wedding there!

Aqua Turf is an amazing venue to get married at! We had a picture perfect day! The grounds are stunning, and you have total privacy from other weddings which is very nice. They come around and ask your guest if they'd like seconds, they staff is extremely friendly, and they do a wonderful job at bringing your wedding vision to life! I do have to be honest with a few cons though: 1. They do not help with the rehearsal if you are getting married on site.2. They check people in by name which takes so long. I had seating chart cards and they had guests find their names and also check in with their list. Not needed and took guest awhile to get in to the room. 3. Our Maitre D was awful. He got us 2 drinks all night and we didn't even have any of our appetizers. Every wedding I have ever been in the Maître D always gets a plate of apps and leaves it at the sweetheart table for the bride and groom since they are so busy with pictures and greeting guests during cocktail hour. All the money we spent it would have been nice to have more attentive service throughout the night. 4. Dinner took a long time to get through, this was a combination of slow service as well as the amount of guest we had so I can't put all the blame on them. But back to the positive! it was a wonderful night overall and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone just be wary of the above and talk to the staff about it ahead of time.

Our point person the day of was exceptional and he made sure we were taken care of and our day stayed on track. All of our guests loved the food and had a great experience. The grounds and beautiful and our pictures came out wonderful as a result.

My daughter and Son-in-Law had her wedding at the Aqua Turf. There were several glitches with seating and meals which were addressed, reluctantly. But the damage was already done and people were upset. Aqua turf does not take responsibility for anything going wrong and are not personally committed to your event. Here, you are just one group being run through their “factory”. Aqua Turf was a regretful choice.

The customer service at The Aqua Turf Club was literally the best my family and I have ever had! The wait staff was unbelievable - they knew exactly what we wanted or needed even before we asked for it. They even packed up leftover special Polish hors d'oeurves and gave them to my Grandfather to take home. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone couldn't believe the size of the prime rib! We held our ceremony onsite in the Chapel as well and while it rained, our waiter held the back of my dress and an umbrella over me so I wouldn't get soaked waiting to walk down the aisle. They made us feel comfortable and informed us about every step of the ceremony process, our grand entrance and even how to cut the cake so both of our rings would show in the photos.One of the other great aspects is that the support staff sets up all of your decor. A couple days before your big day, you drop everything off to your event coordinator and walk through any special items that may need explanation and then they magically put all of your wedding decorations out without you having to worry about a thing. They even created a way to hang my photobooth backdrop with no direction from us at all and it was perfect.Anyone that's getting married in Connecticut should definitely check this place out. The venue is beautiful and even though they hold multiple events on site each day, we had no idea that a 600 person wedding was happening next door (we found out afterwards!).

The customer service at The Aqua Turf Club was literally the best my family and I have ever had! The wait staff was unbelievable - they knew exactly what we wanted or needed even before we asked for it. They even packed up leftover special Polish hors d'oeurves and gave them to my Grandfather to take home. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone couldn't believe the size of the prime rib! We held our ceremony onsite in the Chapel as well and while it rained, our waiter held the back of my dress and an umbrella over me so I wouldn't get soaked waiting to walk down the aisle. They made us feel comfortable and informed us about every step of the ceremony process, our grand entrance and even how to cut the cake so both of our rings would show in the photos.One of the other great aspects is that the support staff sets up all of your decor. A couple days before your big day, you drop everything off to your event coordinator and walk through any special items that may need explanation and then they magically put all of your wedding decorations out without you having to worry about a thing. They even created a way to hang my photobooth backdrop with no direction from us at all and it was perfect.Anyone that's getting married in Connecticut should definitely check this place out. We were so pleased Mike and Lauren selected Aqua Turf as the location for their reception! From the first meeting with the planning coordinator to the entire staff the day of reception everything went real smooth! Ryan who was in charge the night of the reception and made us feel right from the start that evening that everything would go great.He was completely involved all evening and his team worked with him flawlessly. I am sure when Lauren and Mike get back from their honeymoon they will say the same! Aqua Turf came through and we can’t thank them enough!

From the minute I stepped foot in Kay Piers South-I knew I had to have my wedding reception there. The room is gorgeous and everything I ever dreamed of. The day of the wedding, the food was amazing. Our Maitre'D Chris and Lori were absolutely amazing. They were by our side for anything we needed. They kept the day running so smoothly. They also packed up whatever food we didn't have time to eat. They sent us home with tons of leftover cookies, pastries, chocolate dipped fruit. It was all amazing and my husband and I were so happy we got to enjoy it after the wedding. It's true what they say-you are so busy that day that you barely have time to eat anything. Make sure to ask them to wrap up food for you so you can enjoy the next day! Also the grounds at Aqua Turf are absolutely beautiful. This was another reason why we chose this venue. Thank you for making our wedding day so magical.

We cannot say enough good things or thank the staff of the Aqua Turf Club enough for all they did for us. The morning of the wedding, it poured and rained all day. We were supposed to get married in the gardens, and when we arrived there was 3 inches of water on the ground. They pumped, pushbroomed, and leaf-blew the water out until it was all set, then ran everything into the chapel and set it up in 10 minutes when it poured AGAIN as we were about to get started. Everyone there was very knowledgable, and made excellent suggestions to make the day go even better than we envisioned. They were absolutely fantastic the whole night- our guests had a wonderful time and we could not have asked for a better experience!!

I could rant and rave about the Aqua Turf all day, but I will try to keep it brief. We went to the Aqua Turf Bridal Show in January of 2016 where we were able to meet the staff, taste the food, and walk the grounds - we instantly knew we needed to have our wedding there. We booked our ceremony in the chapel and our reception in the Glass Room, and are so thankful that we did! The venue and their staff answered any and all questions fully and in a timely manner. They were able to work with every nuance we wanted on our special day, including cigar bars, memory tables, specialty beers for the bar, etc. There wasn't anything that we asked about that we heard the word no to. The day of the wedding was flawless from the food, to the reception room, the chapel, the desserts, the service, and so much more. Our maitre d was on top of every detail and so attentive to my fiancé and I, making sure we sat down to eat, getting us drinks throughout the night, coordinating our guests and every aspect of our day. At the end of the night, the lights came on and I immediately started stressing about all the things I would need to pack up and get home to turn around and find everything boxed up and waiting for us; the cake was in a box for us, our entire bridal suite was cleaned up, candles and frames were put together, everything was ready to go. Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and more, and most of that is due to the Aqua Turf and their staff putting everything together flawlessly. I would recommend the Aqua Turf to my closest friends and family again and again!

We corresponded mostly through email and they responded within an hour of me sending an email. Alyssa worked with us to create our perfect wedding and she was a pleasure to work with, we can't thank her enough. During the wedding, we had 3 helpers and they were absolutely a blessing. They walked us through the day and made sure that my husband and I were comfortable, hydrated, and not hungry throughout the whole day. One helper even brought me my flip flops when my heels were hurting my feet. They did not rush us through anything, they even held up the ceremony so that I could use the bathroom before. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did, our wedding day was an absolute dream. Highly recommend this venue! (we were married in the chapel in the pines and our reception was in the wagon room).

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the delicious food (and plenty of it, they offered guests SECONDS on their seated meals, including filet mignon!) and the HUGE dessert table, the beautiful room decor, candles, centerpieces, table overlays, etc. They did almost all the work for us and organized everything great. The staff was extremely attentive and detailed, catering to our every need. The dance floor was large and filled with guests. The grounds were gorgeous, our outdoor wedding ceremony was beautiful and fit our guests nicely, and it was nice to know we had the chapel as a backup in case it rained. Aqua Turf really knows what they're doing, they will take care of your every need and make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed it would be and more!

They really take care of you there and make your wedding day run very smoothly. I didn't have to think about anything. You were also allowed second helpings of your meal if you wished, which I thought was awesome. Our matradee was super helpful and always asked our opinions before beginning anything (ex: cutting the cake, the throwing of the bouquet etc.) The decor I provided to the Aqua Turf was set up beautifully. Even the days leading up to the wedding, Alyssa-a woman who works in the offices-helped in every single way to make sure she accommodated our requests to a T. Amazing night, our guests are still giving us compliments on the evening. The grounds are beautiful- we took our wedding pictures right on the grounds and did not find it necessary to find a \"destination spot\" for pictures because of this. Definitely recommend for a wedding reception.

We got married at the Aqua Turf in May and have only wonderful things to say! We had our ceremony and reception there which made everything so convenient for us and our guests. The ladies who helped me plan the whole wedding (Alyssa and Karen) were amazing. They did everything they could to make our wedding so magical and perfect. We had the most amazing time, better than we could have ever imagined. We have heard nothing but rave reviews about the venue and the food and the way things were run. Dawn (our Maitre D for the evening) was phenomenal and made our day so easy for us. We even got to eat some of the food she so thoughtfully got us from the buffet during the reception so that was very nice and we really enjoyed the leftovers she sent home for us that we ate at 3 in the morning in out hotel room! She also helped us wrangle all the stragglers onto our final bus. We loved her! The Venetian table and chocolate shot glasses were as big a hit as I had hoped for... people loved it! Overall we only have wonderful things to say and only wish we could attend a wedding there so we can actually take it all in and eat all the appetizers and actually get to the bar haha We will likely be back to the aqua turf for a company holiday party in January and again for a graduation next May and we are looking forward to it!

My Wedding was a dream come true at the Aqua Turf! My parents and I had looked at many wedding venues before seeing the Aqua Turf. Something about thew Aqua Turf was different, they seemed more down-to-earth there. Alyssa was our coordinator, she was the one that gave us our initial tour, then became our contact from start to finish. I felt like I was working with a friend to plan my wedding. Every time I would call, Alyssa would answer the phone, and I would start explaining who I was, figuring she had a million brides. She would always say, \" Kristin, I remember you!\" Any questions I had, however random or silly, I would just shoot over a quick email or call, and I would always feel a million times better after speaking with Alyssa. The Aqua Turf is very accommodating for special requests. My parents are on the particular side, and they were very pleased every step of the way. I never felt like it was a \"wedding factory\" as many people might say. The fact that they do so many weddings was a positive in my eyes. You feel like you're working one-on-one with your coordinator, but you are very confident that they will deliver a flawless wedding night because you know they have this successful facility! My Maitre D, Dawn, was wonderful, very detail-oriented. All of my guests keep telling me still how beautiful the room was (Kays Pier South) and how perfect the bar was, the food, literally everything was perfect. Overall, a wonderful venue. I would definitely suggest stopping by and taking a look if you haven't picked your wedding venue yet!

My Wedding was a dream come true at the Aqua Turf! My parents and I had looked at many wedding venues before seeing the Aqua Turf. Something about thew Aqua Turf was different, they seemed more down-to-earth there. Alyssa was our coordinator, she was the one that gave us our initial tour, then became our contact from start to finish. I felt like I was working with a friend to plan my wedding. Every time I would call, Alyssa would answer the phone, and I would start explaining who I was, figuring she had a million brides. She would always say, \" Kristin, I remember you!\" Any questions I had, however random or silly, I would just shoot over a quick email or call, and I would always feel a million times better after speaking with Alyssa. The Aqua Turf is very accommodating for special requests. My parents are on the particular side, and they were very pleased every step of the way. I never felt like it was a \"wedding factory\" as many people might say. The fact that they do so many weddings was a positive in my eyes. You feel like you're working one-on-one with your coordinator, but you are very confident that they will deliver a flawless wedding night because you know they have this successful facility! My Maitre D, Dawn, was wonderful, very detail-oriented. We had our reception in the Aqua Turf's Glass Room and it was absolutely beautiful. We were so impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. When we arrived for photos during the cocktail hour they had two servers ready to take care of us and the wedding party completely - I've had so many friends who have told me their biggest regret from their wedding day was not getting to take advantage of the hors d'oeuvres or cocktails so this made us extremely happy. The food was delicious and presentation was amazing. You can tell the Aqua Turf has every detail planned out so that the day is as stress-free as possible for the bride and groom. They were so great to work with and had no problem accommodating our planning a wedding from a few states away. I would absolutely recommend the Aqua Turf to anyone!

A total wedding factory. Save your money and go somewhere else. The food is good, but everything is rushed and the staff seemed inexperienced and disorganized. They insisted on doing the cake cutting right as the meal came out for the guests, and the Maitre D' (who was absent up until this point) stood in the middle of the bride and groom while they were cutting, and then took the cake away...while they were still standing there and had not fed each other yet. The staff started taking away the coffee and centerpieces at 10:30, when the reception didn't end until midnight and there were still over 75 guests there. Talk about feeling rushed out the door! I'm sure it's great for a convention, birthday party, or prom, but avoid this horrible place for your wedding.

The wedding was wonderful, but it wasn't until the wedding day I found out that the cocktail hour and meal have to be in a two hour span. This made the food seem rushed for my husband and I. It also rushed photos so we never got any with my family. The coordinator knew pictures hadn't been done so I felt like it was his responsibility to make sure they were done too because we had a million things going on. He also didn't tell us to go eat until 15 minutes before they were removing food.

From the moment you pull in, this place is flawless. The chapel was perfect. They have 4 totally different reception rooms to fit your taste, but the Wagon Room was for us. The fireplace was beautifully decorated, the wagon shaped bar was unique, and a big dance floor. Everyone raved about the food, and they even asked if people wanted seconds! Staff was amazing. I wish I could do it again!

After the whole experience there are somethings I would change and some I would not, the Aqua Turf is definitely something I would not change! From start to finish the Aqua Turf Club staff helps make your wedding PERFECT! Our guests are still raving about our venue.\r \rThe grounds are perfectly manicured and maintained. The food is absolutely amazing and it keeps coming....our guests were able to choose between 5 different entrees (3 meal choices in addition to the 2 vegetarian choices). When they were finished eating their plated meal, they were asked if they would like more....this is unheard of at wedding venues.\r \rAbove and beyond does not even come close to describing the service! Our ring bearer was down for the count as soon as the reception began (6pm). At most venues, the kids curl up on a couple chairs placed together in the corner. NOT at the Aqua Turf! The staff carried in a love seat from the foyer for him to comfortably sleep on, and he did. Our guests were simply floored!\r \rAs a bride, I had so many little loose ends that I needed to tie that day....no need, the staff was there from the moment we arrived on property to take care of anything we needed. From finding hairspray and band-aids to tracking down my candles for the chapel and getting them in place.\r \rGuys...it wasn't just the girls that received all the extra attention! The groom and groomsmen had the same experience. The staff helped pin on their boutonnieres, let them know where they were supposed to be and helped keep the bride and groom from seeing each other for a full 3 hours on the property before the wedding (we took many of our pictures ahead of time to allow us all to enjoy our reception to the fullest).\r \rThe service level at this venue is beyond imagination. I simply cannot find the words to explain easy they made the whole wedding process for us. They provided us with the wedding of our dreams!\r \rIf you want the perfect wedding at an unbelievably reasonable price (full open bar included), please do yourself a favor and speak with either Debbie or Melissa at the Aqua Turf Club!

I could not be more pleased with the Aqua Turf Club for our wedding. We had both our ceremony and our reception there. From day one (we booked a year and a half in advance) the staff at the AT were so accommodating and incredibly helpful. They walked us through every step of the process and offered helpful suggestions. The day of, our maître 'd was so helpful and helped make sure everyone was ready, organized, and comfortable. Because of the AT staff, everything went off without a hitch. At the reception, everyone's food was served at the same time, so tables were not waiting for their meals. Each table had two waiters. Guests were offered seconds, and had many people tell me how incredible the food was. My husband and I didn't get much time to eat, but our maître 'd made sure we were served first and then wrapped all of our food for us to take home. There was never a line at the bar for a drink, and we had over 200 guests. The room itself was stunning (Kays Pier North) and their grounds are pristine for pictures. \r\rI would highly recommend the Aqua Turf. It was amazing and I am so happy we had our wedding there!

Let's face it- weddings are what they do, it is their business - however, at no time did we feel like \"just another wedding\". We were treated as if we were their only client, and that our wedding day was just as important to them as it was to us. Debbie, Melissa, Becky and Bobby are a few of the employees who assisted us with the planning and execution of our special day. They were great listeners and attentive to all our needs and wants. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get married in a unique, comfortable and classic venue. Every single one of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had! \r\rAs a same sex couple, our only suggestion would be for the paperwork to be updated to reflect different family structures. \r\rEveryone should at least consider this venue for their wedding!!

On our wedding day the service was great and everything went very smoothly! The staff was so kind and generous they did whatever we wanted! The only problem I had was we were suppose to get flowers at the head table and the parents table and they were no where to be found and all they said was sorry. We booked the Aqua Turf Club and used their a la carte option. They are actually very reasonably priced, and we had a larger than normal wedding We worked with Mike Aberg and his team and they are super patient, super nice, and extremely helpful in setting up, decorating and making sure your day goes off without a hitch. We literally dropped decorations off the night before and didn't have to give much direction and when I showed up the next day we were in awe at how beautiful the room turned out. They are pros, let them do their thing and they will do it well!

I looked at venues spanning across VT, NH MA and CT, when I came to the Aqua Turf I knew I had found the perfect place. The grounds are so well kept and the food is amazing. Their packages include an open bar, including top shelf drinks and shots. But the best part was the staff. The day of my wedding I had 2 staff members with me to check if I needed anything and to keep us on track throughout the event. The waiters even did a little show just before serving everyone. \r\rthe Aqua Turf was so accommodating; even after i had picked my 3 meals they still allowed my guests to pick other things if those meals didn't work for them. Each of their rooms are so different so you can really any atmosphere you want. Everyone who went to my wedding said that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. No one had anything but wonderful things to say about the food, service or overall look. This is the place everyone should want to have their wedding.\r\rThe cost is really up to you. The Aqua Turf is comparably priced to many venues in the Hartford area. The only complaint I hear about them is that \"everyone has their wedding there\". Well, there is a reason for that. The Aqua Turf has top-notch service,wonderful food, and a staff that is friendly and knowledgeable. Let's also not forget the beautiful grounds that make for amazing pictures. I would not hesitate to have ANY event here. They are the BEST.

From the very beginning the Aqua Turf was one of the easiest vendors to work with. With this establishment you don't have to worry about a single aspect of your wedding reception. The food was AMAZING!! It all came out so everyone was eating at the same exact time. It was hot, cooked perfectly and everyone was offered seconds! We received so many compliments on the food after the wedding. Since my husband is a chef this was extremely important to him. The day of coordinator was amazing as well. We didn't have to worry about anything the entire night and we were treated like royalty. The grounds are beautiful and great for pictures. We also used the chapel for our ceremony and it was just stunning! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have the \rmost organized, most amazing and most beautiful wedding of their dreams!!

Aqua Turf catered our off-site wedding at the Wadsworth Mansion and did so much more than just the food. Everything was perfect - from their service to the presentation to every last detail of our cocktail hour and reception.

Our experience was absolutely amazing down to the last detail. If you're looking anywhere else you are absolutely crazy. Mike in the office didn't miss a beat, and Larry and the waitstaff took care of each of our guests as if they were family. Everyone is still talking about the service and portion sizes. Not a single thing went wrong and I wouldn't have gone anywhere else!!!

The aqua turf club was great! Threw the whole time of me planning my wedding, whenever i would call they had someone answering my questions right away....The day of the wedding went stress free for me because they took care of everything. The service was wonderful! During the picture taking they made sure my husband,i and my bridal party were always ok with drinks and food. My guests all started to arrive a half an hour early and aqua turf came up to me asking me if it was ok to open the room early. Witch was nice that they would ask and do that for no extra charge... After the wedding i cant tell you how many guests told me the food was great! They even came up to my guests asking if anyone would like seconds of there meal. I would recommend them to anyone i know that is getting married!

The aqua turf club was great! The only negative thing I can say is that, as a few people started leaving early, waitstaff began clearing the tables. It impacted the atmosphere and seemed sort of rude and rushing. But that was small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, because this place was AMAZING.\r\r1. Beautiful!! Our guests gushed over the beautiful grounds, the sunny chapel, and the gorgeous and unique Wagon Room. There were a TON of different spots for photos too...gardens, gazebos, windmill, waterfall, even an old barn! \r\r2. Perfect service from start to finish. They catered to our individual whims (like putting out carafes of iced tea to fit our country picnic theme) at no cost. They responded immediately to my many emails with last minute questions and requests. I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. Seamless from start to finish. Their staff took care of every single thing. It was so smooth and carefree. And our maitre'd was so attentive that I felt like a queen! He even sent staff on a mad search for my lost earring (they found it!) after I had just said to let me know if they happened to see it.\r\r3. The food was stellar!! I'm used to wedding food being mediocre, but this was like being at a nice restaurant. My guests are still talking about the food 3 weeks later.\r\r4. All this at a standard price. Oh--and the per head price includes centerpieces, linens, etc. Makes life so much easier if you're not a super planner type.

The Aqua Turf was excellent. They definitely know how to make your wedding day memorable and worry free. They are efficient and organizing the events of the night so that everything runs smoothly. They made my day absolutely perfect and I would not have changed a thing. I have spoken to many other wedding couples who say they were unable to enjoy themselves because so much was going on and my experience was the total opposite. I ate, spoke with guests and danced the night away. They assign someone to run the room that is your \"go to\" person and then the bridal party has their own private server who gets drinks and anything else you may need. They treat you like royalty! My fiance and I chose to have the stations which we received many compliments on. We also had a venetian dessert table which was just amazing. The room was a great space, we had a DJ, a band, a photo booth, the stations, uplighting and over 200 guests and everyone had more than enough space to move around. Our wedding was on a Friday and the cost was less expensive than a lot of other places we looked into and open bar is included with top shelf liquor. I have been to many events at the Aqua Turf and I have the most amazing experience everytime I go. I have been to a lot of weddings but in my book nothing tops the Aqua Turf Club.

The Aqua Turf gave us a lower rate than today's rate because of the early booking. I had my wedding last month at the Aqua Turf Club and it was amazing. Everyone who worked there was so nice and very helpful to me and my guest. They had everything ready for when we showed up and everything was decorated just how we wanted. The food was so good and they even offered 2nd for the prime rib which the pieces were almost bigger then the plates. I would recommend this venue to everyone as it was amazing for us. I had the Aquaturf as my reception site for my wedding. The did the most amazing job. The room was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect! In the weeks after the reception I had many people come up to me and tell me what an awsome time they had, how good the food was and how great the venue was. I would highly highly suggest the aquaturf to anyone. Their prices are competative and they provide you with the most amazing experience!

To start with - Melissa was amazing. She gave us suggestions to incorporate our fall theme into the venue, she made sure that we saw our room (The Wagon Room) set up so we had a visual, and she was simply on top of her game. Our day went off without a hitch. Karen was our designated coordinator. She was wonderful. She made sure everything was perfect. When it came to our reception she made sure my husband and I had full glasses of champagne, she brought out a hot towel to clean us up with after the cake, and she was just there every time we needed anything. As far as the grounds, the Aqua Turf is gorgeous. The food was ridiculous! They give everyone so much food, absolutely NO ONE can go home hungry. (They also let you take food home which was excellent). Our friends and family have done nothing but rave about the Aqua Turf, the food, and the service. I will forever recommend them and speak highly of them. They helped to make our wedding the event of the year and a memory that we will always cherish.

The Aquaturf was absolutly amazing. It was so beautiful. They were so well organized. I did not have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. Plus they were great with my weekly calls freaking out about one thing or another. I would highly reccomend this place. It is a little bit more expensive than others, but if you do a la carte it makes it a little more affordable. All our guests loved the location and the room (Wagon Room). Food was amazing, service was great. I am so happy with how everything turned out.

Throughout the entire process, from booking the facility to leaving at the end of our wedding night, the Aqua Turf Club had everything covered! During the months of planning, I could always call (and often did) and get any question answered immediately, by helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Our wedding day was seamless! It was raining on and off that day and they worked with us on the decision of whether to have the ceremony inside or outside (it was supposed to be outside at the gazebo). We decided to have it inside and they set up the room beautifully with decorations and I never even worried that the ceremony location got changed the day of. Also, they assign a Maitre D' to you for your wedding day that takes care of the flow of the wedding. We had Larry and he was awesome! He followed our schedule that we had put together and checked in with us whenever something was a little different to make sure we were ok with it. He kept the wedding ceremony and reception flowing perfectly and the day was flawless. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of! Also, the service was great by the waiters and bar tenders! And of course, the room we were in, Kay's Pier North, is gorgeous. And we took all of our pictures outside on the Aqua Turf's picturesque grounds with beautiful landscaping and scenery.

My day was flawless! Maitre'd made my day so easy! Everything was about making my day perfect! I was a nervous wreck, but everything was so smooth b/c of Aqua Turfs staff. Food and venetian table were beautiful! They even bought me some of my favorite wine that they don't carry! Highly reccommended and high class!

We were extremely happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out at this venue! The staff was extremely helpful. From the moment I got out of the limo they directed me where to go, I didn't have to think about a thing! (Which was exactly what I wanted.) The Chapel in the Pines is a beautiful spot for a ceremony and it has plenty of seating. The food was great! We did a buffet dinner and they guests loved it! I would recommend going to the tasting before picking your menu, though. The open bar, which was included in the price, was top shelf. We have recieved so many compliments and stories from our friends and relatives about how much they liked our wedding! I could not have been happier with our choice in the Aqua Turf Club!

We were extremely happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out at this venue! The staff was extremely helpful. Another great job! Very elegant, great food and great service. The Contemporary Menu was excellent. So many choices. Everyone raved about what a great time they had! Very accommodating and wonderful grounds to take pictures.

Considering this place and The Farmington Club are owned by the same people, it does not surprise me that both of these facilities have a 5 star rating. I would think that Aqua Turf is a little bit more expensive though, because of all the fountains! I never got a quote from them because I chose the Farmington Club.

Personalized service with a smile. My guests raved about everything from the service and food to the ambiance!;They hold several events there are one time so I saw 3 other brides that day... the service you received was not compromised though!

The grounds at the Aqua Turf are fabulous for pictures. Outside cocktail area was awesome. Professional staff that catered to your needs. Updated rooms.

The staff were fabulous, the food was excellent, and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous.;The grounds are especially gorgeous if it's a nice day, as it was for our wedding. On a rainy day, it's hard to appreciate the grounds.

The Aquaturf Club has been a favorite banquet facility of ours for a long time and it measured up in almost every way we imagined it would for our wedding reception. The grounds are especially exceptional and beautiful for photography.;I have heard it called a 'wedding factory' and perhaps because of the popularity of our date (7-7-07), it was a bit over-crowded on the grounds and we feel we missed a little of the normal superb attention normally given outside because of that. But otherwise, it was a PERFECT choice!
