We hosted our recent wedding at the Ashworth and could not be happier with how everything came together. The venue is both picturesque and cozy. With the water side views and historic beach strip, pictures were a breeze. The convertible ball room made for easy customization and planning, while the Ashworth staff showcased professionalism and warmth through the entire process.Eileen, the event coordinator and primary contact, was a dream to work with. She was responsive, diligent, patient, and personable, making us feel like the only couple she was working with.During the planning process, it felt as though there was no end to flexibility we were permitted. As a couple trying to accommodate two very different cultures (Eastern European and Chinese), we were apprehensive regarding the extent to which we could equally celebrate both cultures. Despite their minimal experience in preparing Asian cuisine, Eileen and the chef collaborated with us to create Chinese dinner recipes. They offered multiple tastings to ensure that they were prepping the entrees as traditionally as possible. Their remarkable effort to honor our families testifies to not only their professional dedication, but also their kind hearts.If you are looking to have a seamless planning experience and a beautiful, fun-filled wedding day, visit the Ashworth. My Husband and I got married here back in May of 2021. It was by far the best thing we ever did! We had to replan our wedding 4 times due to covid and finally we found Ashworth by the Sea. From the moment we walked in and met with Eileen we both knew this is where we wanted to get married. The food was amazing the service was top notch! I wish I could relieve the day over and over! You guys rock!!!!

The first time we went to the Ashworth was probably a decade ago when we had tickets to a concert at the Hampton Beach Casino ballroom in April and wanted to stay in a hotel with a pool. We loved the hotel and completely fell in love with Hampton Beach. Ever since then we go to Hampton and stay at the Ashworth at least once, if not several times a year. We even got engaged on Hampton Beach. The beach is beautiful. The boardwalk is fun. There are lots of great restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Fast forward to our engagement and trying to figure out where to host our wedding reception. We wanted something beautiful and special but also within a reasonable budget. We were beyond thrilled to see that the Ashworth, a place so near and dear to us, was within our budget. We started planning in the summer of 2018 and selected a date in September 2020 for our wedding. Unfortunately, in the spring of 2020 we realized that with Covid numbers climbing, we weren't comfortable planning an event for close to 100 guests for September and started the process to postpone. With that, I am SO thankful for the flexibility of the Ashworth and the patience of Eileen Menard, the Sales and Catering manager because we were able to reschedule to a date in May of 2021 without issue. Then, when we realized in February of 2021 that it still didn't seem safe to host our reception we worked with them to postpone again. Planning a wedding is SO stressful and so overwhelming. Working with a venue that is truly there to help you have the wedding of your dreams despite very unusual circumstances is a game changer.Eileen was there for us every step of the way. She responded to my many questions in a timely manner and offered suggestions on vendors and setup. Our wedding reception was absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony right on the beach directly across from the hotel. We had the option of having our cocktail hour in the ballroom, the rose room or on the patio area between the two buildings. We opted for the ballroom so that our guests didn't have to move to a different location for the meal. We were on a tight budget so we opted for the buffet option. Our guests absolutely raved about the food. I found that our guests really liked having the buffet because it allowed them to eat as much as they wanted of what foods they liked and some guests went for seconds. We had two guests with serious food allergies/restrictions and Eileen arranged for special meals for those two guests without issue. Since our reception ended at 9:30 I wanted to have something for guests after. Eileen helped us to arrange a reserved area in the Breakers bar and some pre-ordered appetizers. We really felt like the Ashworth offered everything we wanted. We loved having our ceremony on the beach. We loved that the Ashworth is a hotel and therefore our guests could stay on site and not have to worry about transportation if they were drinking. We felt well taken care of by Eileen and the staff. We absolutely love the Ashworth and looking forward to going there for vacations or quick getaways.

Eileen is absolutely the best! Our wedding is coming up and she has been so incredibly great and accommodating from the very beginning! They are working with us to create an entirely gluten free dinner and cocktail hour menu that also accommodates several vegetarians (including me), while still keeping the non-gluten free and meat eating crowd happy so they won’t even notice (including the groom). This is not easy to do but all of the food at our tasting was absolutely delicious (steak, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes, celebration salad, GF pasta primavera, and amazing appetizers like spinach and cheese stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped scallops, bruschetta, and raw veg spring rolls, and chocolate covered strawberries) . The ballroom is really beautiful and we are excited to have our wedding oceanfront. Pretty much everything I’ve asked about has been accommodated and in a super friendly way. Eileen is making sure our guests all have rooms near each other and she’s really just so super helpful with everything. The prices are great and our hotel room is included the night of our wedding as well. Although the hotel rooms could use some updates, the ballrooms and lobby are really pretty. And you’ve got the ocean right there! Couldn’t recommend this venue any more!

Eileen is absolutely the best! Our wedding is coming up and she has been so incredibly great and accommodating from the very beginning! my wedding isn't until september 2016 but already melissa has been an amazing asset and my piece of mind in the planning process so far. she is incredibly friendly, responsive, informative, flexible and doesn't seem to be annoyed (yet) with my endless, random questions and ideas :) i can't wait to work with her more as our wedding gets closer. my fiance and i know everything will be in the best hands!

Our entire wedding weekend took place at the Ashworth and we couldn't be happier with how every thing went. We worked with Laura throughout the planning process, and she was incredibly professional and accommodating. She made us feel as if we were her only clients, when we know that's far from reality. Laura was quick to respond to emails, and always assured us that things would run smoothly, which they did. \r\rFrom the start of the weekend with our rehearsal dinner on Friday, to our after-wedding brunch on Sunday, our wedding weekend was everything we could've imagined and more. That was all thanks to Laura and the amazing Ashworth staff! Thank you!

The Ashworth was absolutely perfect for my wedding in June! Cheri was so easy to work with and really knew how to set everything up for the wedding. I made extremely detailed centerpieces and she put them together without any issues :-). The food was great, the room was beautiful and the service was awesome - I would 100% recommend the Ashworth :-)

Ashworth by the Sea was a strong contender for our wedding venue. We got married in August and thought it would be a great location for a late summer wedding. The coordinator was very nice, and the prices were very reasonable. They also were willing to work with you on many aspects of the reception. The downfalls that we saw were that they didnt have a great outdoor ceremony space. Also, the reception hall had no windows, and was very dark. Those were two things that were important to us so we did not end up choosing Ashworth.

Absolutely charming! This place was a real bargain compared to inner city hotels. Ashworth just celebrated its 100th anniversary and the building's decor certainly reflects that old school charm. Loved the place, loved the menu, and the wedding coordinator Cheri was absolutely fantastic and very, very helpful when it came down to crunch time on the day of the wedding. The only complaint I have is that the food served to my guest was a little cold. Guess the kitchen couldn't pump out that many plates of food for everyone at the same time. Other than that I LOVED the place. Strongly recommend booking you wedding venue here. Our wedding was in February and I managed to get a 50% discount on the venue rental fee! =)

We had a very small wedding in the Rose Room at the Ashworth. It was perfect. The wedding planner on staff was extremely kind and accommodating. She took care of all centerpieces and made the room look beautiful.

Our experience with the Ashworth was nothing short of spectacular. We worked with Sherri the wedding coordinator who was very helpful. The food was great and the service was top notch. Our special day was exactly as it should be, effortless, fun and memorable.

The Ashworth holds a special place in my family's heart so I knew that I wanted to have my wedding there. Cheri was so helpful from start to finish, with all of my crazy questions, she was always prompt with getting back to me with an answer. The ballroom looked amazing and she let me help set up the day before which eased my mind. I was still putting things together in my room at midnight before my wedding and I called down to the front desk and they opened the ballroom for me so I could set things up. The food was amazing, we did the SeaView Buffett and people are still talking about how good the food was. The staff was very professional and was there to help us in whatever we needed. It was the night of my dreams.

I don't even know where to begin. From the informational phone call to the big day, the Ashworth by the Sea's staff was absolutely amazing. We never heard the word no! Everything we asked for they were willing to look in to and ultimately accommodate for us. Many weddings and events are held at this location for obvious reasons. One in perticular: We felt like we were the only guests in the entire hotel. Every single staff member treated us with the best service, going way beyond their job discription. No request was too large. We had a stress free wedding because of the Ashworth. They were in constant contact prior to the wedding, right up to the night before. Asking questions about the smallest detail all to insure our big day went off without a hitch. The service did not stop at the end of our wedding night. We were continually treated like the special couple right until the very last minute. We did not want to leave! It was such a nice relaxing weekend. And we owe it all to the Ashworth's preparedness, and their personal committment to make our night a night we would never forget!
