Aspen Meadows Resort Reviews
Josh Newell(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-08-2020 Aspen Meadows was fantastic! Our original wedding plans were canceled by COVID, so we decided to do an Adventure Elopement in Aspen, complete with a sunrise hike and a ceremony near Ashcroft. Since Plato's is one of our favorite restaurants, we were excited that the Albright Pavilion was available - the views at both are absolutely incredible. The room was super convenient too, we had all 3 sides open, but we were able to shut one side when the wind picked up. Rachel and her team were awesome to work with, and the day of wait staff were right on point - many compliments came from our guests. The food was fantastic, and that is coming from a group that had high expectations! The day of, we were running an hour late from the hike and ceremony, but once again, the professionalism and experience of Rachel and her team saved the day. Despite the time frame, the service was impeccable. Our wedding day is one we will always remember and we can't thank Aspen Meadows enough for being a part of it! Reviewed on 11-08-2020
Danielle OBrien(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-08-2015 I can't say enough good things about the Meadows for our ceremony and reception venue. The setting the beautiful, the food was perfect, everything was exactly how I wanted it to be set up, and the day just went so smoothly. What I loved so much about the Meadows is that it is in Aspen, but so far away from town and so private. It was like the whole property was ours for the day. The cocktail reception on the balcony was perfect too, with the river roaring below. Maureen, the catering manager, was so great throughout the whole planning process. Even when I was sending her an email every day, she was always so prompt in getting back to me, and always professional. The staff was great that day. I never imagined a day to be so perfect- and I would not have wanted to have it anywhere else. I highly recommend the Meadows to any couple looking to have a beautiful backdrop and scenery throughout their whole day. Reviewed on 18-08-2015
Julie Schlegel(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2011 We absolutely loved this resort. It was just far enough out of town, 0.8mi, to feel secluded and relaxed but close enough to access the restaurants and town. The staff was amazingly helpful and our wedding was executed perfectly. The food was delicious and the views from our reception in The Meadows Restaurant and Patio were spectacular. Our ceremony site, Anderson Park, was even more beautiful than the photos and the rooms/suites were spacious, modern, and clean. We can't say enough good things about our experience! Sonia Bekhaazi(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2011 I had organised for my ceremony to be held up at the Maroon Bells. However, two weeks before the wedding I spoke to the Forest Service and they informed me that the ampitheatre was covered in about 6 feet of snow. Panic stations hit and I knew i had to make a decision and fast. \r\rI got in contact with some of the sales staff at the Aspen Meadows and they put me in touch with Susan. Within about two days they had helped me reorganise one of the major pieces of my wedding. The location was spectacular, in the distance I could hear the river rumbling (spring time), the Aspen's had just grown new leaves and the views of the surrounding mountains were magnificent.\r\rIn case of rain, there was a back up plan/indoor location on site which also had terrific views, but I was lucky and the weather cooperated. Having a back up on site is also key.\r\rThere was a little set up involved with chairs, refreshments and decorations. Honestly, I could not pick a fault with the staff and trust me there were many more to choose from throughout the day (with other vendors).\r\rI wouldn't just recommend this as a wedding ceremony and reception, I would insist on it. The staff were more than accommodating, I cannot thank them enough. If you want your wedding to be a beautiful experience, go with the Meadows and you won't be disappointed. If I could give them 10 stars I would.\r\r Reviewed on 22-07-2011
Amy McVicar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2010 Aspen Meadows was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. I had only viewed the location once before the big day, so I wasn't sure quite what to expect since I was planning an out of town wedding. Susan, the coordinator, was very helpful and made sure everything was in order. The service was impeccable and I received so many compliments on what a beautiful location I had chosen. danielle shoults(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-09-2008 The Doerr-Hosier is a new state-of-the-art 'green' building. It is clean modern and has a beautiful lobby perfect for cocktail hour. It is very open with lots of light. There are outside patios that overlook the roaring fork river and has views of aspen mountain. The reception hall is large with lots of light two hd-screens and they offer a great lighting package. Perfect venue for a wedding... Reviewed on 10-05-2010
