The Aspen Snowmass Wedding and Catering Event Team will ensure every aspect of your celebration is nothing short of exceptional, whether it’s for as few as 20 or as many as 500 guests, ranging from a rehearsal dinner to a wedding ceremony, bar mitzvahs, anniversary or anything in between. The culinary team at Aspen Snowmass Catering brings together an incredible roster of accomplished chefs, each with a unique set of talents, focused on creating amazing dining experiences. Our chefs are committed to using local and organic sources whenever possible and have a network of Colorado-based farms to source staples from chicken to eggs, to local grass-fed beef. If you have a spectacular setting in mind, we have spectacular food to match it. Our staff of highly-trained Chefs and Event Managers will work with you to complement any occasion with delicious and innovative cuisine. This was by far one of THE prettiest weddings I've ever been a part of. As a photographer, I shoot at all kinds of different venues, and this one is absolutely at the top of my list! Not only were the views at the top of the mountain immaculate, but the venue team did a fantastic job in coordinating the wedding logistics and making the day go so smoothly. If you're on the hunt for your wedding venue, you'd be silly to pass this one up. I couldn't recommend Aspen Snowmass Weddings more!

I can't say enough kind words about this venue!! As a photographer, I shoot at venues all over the place, and this was by far one of the most gorgeous ceremony views I have ever seen! The staff was also amazing in helping coordinate the day. I couldn't recommend having your wedding at Buttermilk Mountain more!!

Cliffhouse and the newly renovated Buttermillk Lodge were the perfect locations for a wedding! All the ASC staff were so professional on our wedding day, from the chairlift attendants to the servers. We heard so many good things from guests about ASC’s impeccable service. Chef Cody also made the most delicious food that our guests still rave about today! However, our communications with ASC catering left a lot to be desired leading up to our wedding day. During our initial tour and conversations, the wedding coordinator, Lorraine, was quick to respond and seemed very flexible. As soon as we signed our contract, this completely changed. We had a lot of questions after initially signing our contract due to the ongoing renovations at Buttermilk, and we would go weeks without getting a response. When we expressed concerns regarding some discrepancies between what we were told during our initial tour and what was being communicated to us via email, we were met with responses like, “if you would like to cancel your wedding, we would be more than happy to refund your deposit.” We also were frequently reminded that we were not the only event ASC catering was putting on that day. Additionally, we were given an initial food and beverage list when our contract was first signed a year before our wedding. At the time, we were told to expect a very small price increase. We were given an updated F&B list about 3 months before our wedding date that did have a small price increase, which we were not concerned about. Then, the month of our wedding, we were told that some of the wines we had chosen were not available and we were sent a third F&B list that had different beverage options and even higher beverage prices. ASC catering was able to honor the prices of the 2nd F&B list we were given, but this was just one example of the lack of transparency and poor timeliness we experienced. It was a really disheartening experience, and I hope that no other couple ever has to go through what we went through when communicating with their venue. Lorraine even had the audacity to tell our wedding planner on the day of our wedding that she was glad she would never have to deal with us again, despite our wedding planner frequently reassuring us that this was not a normal experience with a venue. Overall, we would rate our day of service a 5/5 and our communications leading up to our wedding day a 2/5.
