At Astoria Banquets & Events, couples are invited to choose from a number of both indoor and outdoor event spaces to host their gatherings. BRIDES AND GROOMS, please please please book your wedding here. We got married on 9.23.23. All inclusive venue that required minimal set up and Max is super accommodating and helpful. Max lets you pick and choose what we can cut out and keep in for the all inclusive wedding package. The food is stellar and our guests were raving about all the food. Do yourself a favor if you don’t want to have to worry about a single thing, Astoria Banquets has your covered. Breathtaking venue with even better staff. Thanks Max and Isabel for making our wedding night so memorable!

Astoria was amazing, specifically Max! My husband and I wanted a Fairytale wedding and Astoria made that come to life. The food, decorations and the politeness of staff made the day even better. I recommend 10/10 for Astoria. They will work with you to ensure your day reflects the vision you have!

Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be and more! This is all thanks to the people we had around us and Max and his team at Astoria Banquets and Events. Our wedding was on February 4, 2023. They catered to our every need, not only did they shovel snow for us to take outdoor pictures in the middle of winter, they turned down the heat when I was too HOT! (clearly why I’m a winter bride) Everything from the soup to the chicken was AMAZING! And by the end of the night the staff at Astoria becomes like your family! Max and his team, the bartenders, waitstaff, and security, everyone is so amazing and so happy for you and YOUR big day. Like they don’t do this every single night. And a big thank you to Leo who was there for us whenever we needed him! Thanks for an amazing night, I would 110% recommend Astoria Banquets and Events! And take them up on their recommended DJs and Hotels. It takes the hassle out of everything. We had James Mastrino, DJUj Mobile Music Lights & Entertainment. He was outstanding at his job!

This venue is so beautiful. Firstly, we loved the separate \"Bar\" room area they have. It just creates a whole different environment where people can have conversation and be away from the music if they wanted. We love the different packages offered and how customizable everything is. Staff were professional and friendly. Max was great to work with and made sure everything we wanted, they delivered and understood. Max was also very helpful during rehearsal and helping me (the bride) make sure everyone understood process, walking order and little details. Food and tasting process was great, the attention the Chef gave us to make sure we understood everything was really great. All around very pleased with Max and Astoria and wish we could re-live it all again!

We are so happy that we had our wedding at Astoria!! Max was always very responsive to emails and made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. The venue is breathtaking and so elegant! It’s everything I always wanted for my wedding day. We had no issues the day of. Everything was put out exactly as I requested it be. Our guests has the best time! We got married 1-15-22 and to say everything was perfect would be an understatement. We had the stress of the Cook County vaccine mandates come out 2 weeks before our wedding, but Max helped us handle it with ease... just like everything else that had to be planned for this venue. Max took literally all of my stress away every time I talked with him, he was extremely easy to work and communicate with and like I said our day was perfect. I couldn't have imagined anything different. I recommend Astoria to EVERYONE I know that's getting married or holding an event. The food was AMAZING... everyone still talks about it to this day. The venue was gorgeous, we got so many compliments about everything from this day. This day would not have been possible without Max and everything he did to help us get to that point. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Isabel! She made sure things ran smoothly and even accommodated some guests that were delayed getting to the reception and made sure they got their food. The staff- FABULOUS. I have worked in catering, waitressing, bartending, etc and they exceeded my expectations. I truly could not be more impressed with how everything turned out. Thank you to everyone at Astoria for giving us the best day of our lives!!

We had our wedding here recently and while it was beautiful it was too many hiccups that are unforgivable. We spent over 11K for this all inclusive venue and didn't realize that it isn't \"all inclusive\" During our final walkthrough we realized we would have to pay extra for ceremony decorations (something that I wish would have been told to us at signing). We were told we wouldn't really need a wedding coordinator as the venue will be able to be there for us. Thank God we chose to get a Month-of-coordinator. The owners of the venue did not come and assist with the wedding and did not tell me, my husband, or my coordinator of this change. So when we arrived we had no clue who to talk to. An the people there did not speak English fluently so it was a big language barrier. My Ceremony Dress was ruined before the ceremony in their get-ready suite. When me and planner expressed our concerns about my dress we were met with little to no help. All they did was replace the chair. But the venue did not have any products to get the big stain out and I legit CRIED. Ceremony went beautiful. However the cocktail hour, they had our guests wait in a long line to receive their appetizers and ultimately ran out of food before everyone could eat. We had 11 guests not show up and again spent over 11K on this venue and to run out of food was ridiculous. The open bar did not have our signature drinks until 9pm. Ceremony started at 5pm. During Reception time we requested for an upgraded sweetheart table and did not receive it. Additionally, I had a totally different layout from what was discussed during the final walk through. We ended up having guests being bunched up on each other and during COVID I didn't think this was the safest Idea and you could barely walk through tables. It got HOT and QUICK. The food during dinner, while delicious my husband and I chicken was cold. An the wait staff kept coming up to try to take our plates. We were not finished. Our coordinator had to let them know to stop walking up on us and wait for us to finish. The waitstaff was just plain rude. the hiccups we experienced were unforgivable and while Astoria did pay for dress to be cleaned, I feel that these issues would have not risen if Max or Lora was there to assist. It was definitely a learning experience for this Venue. I'm sure if the owners are there, your wedding will go off without a hitch (I have a friend who was married here and the owners showed and she had zero issues). I will never be able to get this day back and I was never able to take pictures in my Ceremony dress. It still hurts one month later. I hope that my experience would not happen to anyone else

I felt like I didn't have to do much. Max was very communicative and helped us through the process. He explained everything in great details, including the price and payments. There were no surprised charges at all. The food turned out really good. All my guests couldn't stop talking about it. My wedding couldn't be anymore perfect and effortless, thanks to the amazing team at the Astoria.

Max helped us plan out our wedding and was amazing. He was very communicative and answered all our questions. He has great customer service and he exceeded our expectations! The venue was to die for! Very well decorated. It was beautiful!! They truly made my “dream” wedding come true. The only thing I had noticed though was that our seating chart and set-up was wrong. The numbering wasn’t correct.. Unfortunately, all weddings don’t go as planned though..My grandmother also suffered a stroke during our ceremony and because of this reason, many people missed our wedding night due to them being in the hospital. The banquet hall manager we had was a little rude at first and had told me everyone was all over the place and that many people were missing. I had explained to him what had happened earlier and he was a bit more understanding after that. Also, because of my family emergency, things at my wedding were running a bit late. My husband ended up taking over as well and made things go quicker so we were able to still dance towards the end. Overall, I know this wasn’t anyone’s fault and we can’t always have control. I was just in love with this venue the minute we stepped foot inside!! Max was amazing with everything and walked us through all the details. I was not once overwhelmed or stressed about anything!! don't get me started on the food, my guest have not stopped talking about it!! we got the combo plate of filet and chicken champagne and the fish plate (salmon) everything was cooked to perfection and I'm pretty sure no plate went back empty!! I will recommend Astoria to anyone who is looking for a venue!!!

In the midst of a pandemic, we were still able to have our beautiful royal wedding to commemorate 10 years together. It was truly one for the books. I am especially grateful for how closely Lora and Max worked with me and my husband to personalize every single detail to make the day truly remarkable and memorable. From handpicking the decor for each of the guest tables to dancing on a cloud, we had such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Lora and Max really worked overtime to bring our vision to life. More importantly, they worked to ensure that our wedding was safe for all people attending. They have truly incorporated CDC guidelines for gatherings and I felt comfortable having a wedding in the midst of a national health pandemic because of it. Despite having to cut our guest list in half, we had a ball and the room was filled with love, positive energy, and joy and happiness and I am so grateful that Astoria hosted our special day.Other notes: the food was amazing, especially for \"wedding food\" that I have had at other weddings, which unfortunately, is usually subpar. In the midst of a pandemic, we were still able to have our beautiful royal wedding to commemorate 10 years together. It was truly one for the books. I am especially grateful for how closely Lora and Max worked with me and my husband to personalize every single detail to make the day truly remarkable and memorable. From handpicking the decor for each of the guest tables to dancing on a cloud, we had such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Lora and Max really worked overtime to bring our vision to life. More importantly, they worked to ensure that our wedding was safe for all people attending. They have truly incorporated CDC guidelines for gatherings and I felt comfortable having a wedding in the midst of a national health pandemic because of it. Despite having to cut our guest list in half, we had a ball and the room was filled with love, positive energy, and joy and happiness and I am so grateful that Astoria hosted our special day.Other notes: the food was amazing, especially for \"wedding food\" that I have had at other weddings, which unfortunately, is usually subpar. My niece had her wedding here 9/21/19. I had seen the venue one other time while they hosted a poker tournament. When we walked in early for family photos, I was was amazed at how beautifully the area was transformed for the wedding ceremony. It was absolutley breathtaking. Everything from the way the chairs were arranged, the lighting, the backdrop, the decor was like something out of a fairytale. The passed appetizers during cocktail hour were delicious & plentiful. The room was transformed again during cocktail hour to a beautiful welcoming dinner/reception area. Plenty of room, good food presentation & an abundance of delicious food. The entire experience was wonderful. The owners were there to make any adjustments needed and plenty of staff to help the entire evening run smoothly. 5 stars does not seem like enough.

I can't even put into words how amazing Astoria is. When pulling into the parking lot for our tour we were not sure how we would like Astoria given that it is in a strip mall but once we walked inside we were blown away. The venue has beautiful lighting, decor, and furnishings. We were greeted and given information by Lora. She is AMAZING. She gave us all of the information we needed and was very upfront about all of the costs of items and made us feel very comfortable with our budget. After only an hour at Astoria we decided over dinner that evening to book. Our reception on March 2nd was an absolute dream. The decor was perfect, food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. The staff made us feel like true royalty that night and we wished the evening would never end. I would recommend Astoria to anyone looking for an all in one venue with incredible service, food, decorations, and staff!

I was very overwhelmed, in pain, and sweating... but Lora & Max were on it to make sure I was enjoying myself.Once I finally calmed down and stopped sweating and crying (thank you, bridesmaids!), I took a step back and looked at how BEAUTIFUL the reception hall looked. I did a lot of little DIY touches to personalize my wedding, and those DIY details in combination with the beautiful reception hall, decorations, and lighting provided by Astoria made this such a stunning wedding.Lora & Max responded super quickly to every single one of my emails and phone calls during the planning process (and there were a lot). The food was delicious, late night snacks were a hit, staff was super kind, lighting was beautiful, and everything was set up according to my instructions. We had so many guests tell us \"This is the best wedding I have ever been to...including my kids' weddings!\" How amazing is that compliment?You can just tell that Lora & Max really want you to have the best day ever, so they genuinely care and put a lot of effort into your wedding. Also, the prices are super reasonable. I looked at a lot of other wedding venues, and nothing topped Astoria. Of course there were a little hiccups here and there, but overall, it was incredible. I just got married on March 10, 2018 and had my wedding ceremony and celebration at Astoria Banquets. From beginning to end when I met with Max before we signed our contract he was so easy to work with . My wedding was a Love Story and the staff was wonderful, food was beautiful and tasty and my wedding cake was beautiful. This was my Dream Come True Wedding. Astoria went above and beyond of what we imaged for our wedding. First of all, I searched for places for a long time before I found them and they are the most affordable place without a doubt and many options to choose from. That being said, even though it is affordable it does not skip on what makes it beautiful. Inside the building is breathtaking when you walk in and everyone is very nice and courteous. We worked with Max and the process from payments, planning and not to mention he answered all my emails and there was quite a bit. The day of they set everything up and broke everything down so we didn't have to worry about that at all. All our guests said that the Astoria did a beautiful job and the food was so delicious. Make sure you take time to see this place! Thank you Max and crew!

We had our Wedding here in Aug. 2017 and Astoria Banquets is beyond AMAZING!!! The service alone is one of the best I've experienced at a banquet - Max goes above and beyond to make your vision become a reality (and he's super patient too which means so much to a mind changer like myself :)). The food was delicious and the venue itself is so beautiful and well taken care of - two of the most important things to us as we had a Polish/European wedding. All of our guests were wowed as they entered the ballroom and throughout the night - I kept hearing how everything exceeded their expectations as it did mine :). I highly recommend them, they're reasonably priced and definitely know what they're doing to ensure everything goes perfectly!

We had the opportunity to taste various cakes and custom design our own, from the Baking Institute, which turned out perfectly.We also, had the opportunity to choose our menu items, and taste the dinner and side dishes months before the event. The food was delicious for our tasting as it was for our wedding night.The room was decorated beautifully and in perfect conjunction with our colors for the evening. Astoria has a myriad of ways to decorate the room with colors, Chandeliers, winding staircases, garden views, lighting and accessories that went beyond what we could have imagined. Since our wedding was a military affair, color schemes and patterns are hard to find. Astoria was able to accommodate us perfectly.All of our guests enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings and décor for photos and above all the professional and caring service that Astoria gave us. The wait staff and bartenders were very helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond what one would expect. They created for us an unforgettable night.We cannot adequately encapsulate the great qualities of Astoria and its people in such a short review; needless to say, we give it 5 out of 5 stars in every aspect and highly recommend it. Astoria is the Hidden Gem in the North Cook/Lake County area.

I first saw Astoria on Face book and immediately fell in love with their reasonable prices and the beautiful images from past weddings. We were very pleased with how flexible and accommodating everyone on the Astoria team was to all of our individual needs and details to make our Wedding Day the magical and special event that it was. All of our guests were so impressed and taken back by the beautiful and elegant style, decor, and ambiance that they created for our ceremony. The white draping package created an eniviornent that was warm, filled with love, and aligned it to our wedding vision/dream.Their servers and hostesesses were very professional and accommondating to the needs of our guest. Two of our guests indicated a food allergy on the day of the event and the chefs were able to accommodate a whole new entree for them on the spot. They had ample parking space for all of our guests, along with a great team of servers that accommodated to food/coat needs. We found that Astoria was a great venue to accommodate for our quick planning and fixed budget. Pricing was reasonable Thank you to Max and Lora for all of your help and to your patience with our millions of inquiries & emails.

The entire night and still weeks after, we are getting compliments from family and friends about the venue at Astoria, people keep asking how much we spent and think it's much more than we actually did. The VALUE is definitely in this venue! Lora was so amazing throughout the entire process with all my questions and changes! The venue is gorgeous, the food amazing, everything went even better than planned. We began our night upstairs in the bride and groom suites, plenty of room to leave our personal belongings and get dressed in. We had our ceremony in the north end of the ballroom with the rest partitioned off, then a coctail hour with open bar and 3 passed hor dourves across the lobby in their lounge, a great space, with a patio just off of it that is lit up with strand lights and cast iron furniture. The bridal party took photos during this time in their beautifully decorated lobby and staircase that over looks lobby. We used the entire ballroom for our reception and took full advantage of Astoria's uplighting and backdrops that perfectly complimented their brilliant chandeliers. Astoria's wait staff were exemplary! It was so nice to be able to not have to worry about centerpieces, table linens, china, flatware, catering, lighting, backdrops, decor, seating, dance floors, coat check, wait staff, bar, or even the cake(that we picked out at The Baking Institute) and was included with all of the other things couples have to get together. I brought them a container the week of, of things they agreed to set up for me, that was helpful! They had an easy to follow payment plan(they accept Chase Quickpay) and the contract outlined all necessary schedule of events leading up to the day of. I highly recommend Astoria, no seriously, I could go on and on...Many thanks to Max, Lora, and the Astoria family for making our evening unforgettable. ~The Munnich'sTo couples booking here I have to strongly recommend using Four Points by Sheraton in Buffalo Grove for you block of rooms. They are new, they remodeled the previous Windham Gardens and I cannot rave enough. They are blocks away from Astoria. They offered me a complimentary banquet hall room the day of, where myself and bridal party got our hair and make up done in. There were plenty of outlets in the room and they brought in oversized full length mirrors and a fridge for the day. We were allowed to use the room until 2 a.m. so we took full advantage of this and had an after party in the room per their suggestion. The hotel shuttled us to and from Astoria and our suite was complimentary with 15 guest suites booked. All of my guests were in one area of the hotel and we all shared a courtyard, the party continued! Our rooms included made to order breakfast the morning after and the king corner suite we stayed in was very large, right down the hall from the banquet hall, and near an entrance with luggage carts. They had many foid and beverage options available but for the time we were using for the after party 12a.m.-2a.m. we decided to pay$150 to keep open their fully stocked bar and open a tab. We brought in light midnight snacks for our guests. Neena was our contact at the hotel, she was so easy to work with and even left us champagne, chocolates, and a card in our room...how sweet. We will definately be staying here again.

I had my reception this past weekend at Astoria on March 11, 2017. The venue is beautiful, the food was good, and the cake was good. However, the communication was lacking. From the beginning Max wasn't too responsive to my calls or emails. It would take him days to weeks to respond to an email or call. When we went to do our food tasting we were left in the room after finishing our food for over 45min without him coming to check to see if we were done. The week of my week I sent an email asking a few questions about the reception that he never responded to. He never responded to my calls either so my fiancé had to go to venue and ask him in person. Max did seem nice at times but most times he seemed irritated with me even though I only reached out to him every so often (once every month). We were told that the night of our reception there would be a coordinater there to make sure everything ran smoothly. Max assured me that this person would communicate with the DJ, myself, and any other key person to make sure everything happened in a timely matter. The night of Amanda (I believe that was her name I only saw her twice) seemed nice and asked how I wanted the night to flow and I told her. I also mentioned to let the DJ, photographer, & videographer know as well which she did not. She told me husband and I to go into the ballroom mingle with our guest then come back out and wait to be introduced. My husband was upset by this because he told her that's not how he wanted the night to start. We went up into our suite only to have the DJ text my husband asking what time would we be making an entrance. The coordinater had not told him so my husband went to back into the ballroom to find her but was no where to be found. One of my bridesmaids then gave the timeline to the DJ. My bridesmaid also had the waitstaff being us appitizers to our room because we had none. Once we entered the reception the coordinater was again no where to be found and we all stood there confused as to what was about to happen. The DJ took it upon himself to start the speeches then the music for the cake cutting because the coordinater again was no where to be found. About an hour after dinner I went to the washroom and Amanda was standing outside the reception getting her jacket to leave with about 4 hours left to our reception. The DJ then became the coordinater and announced the first dance and my husband and I announced that the dancing was starting after that. No bride should be left to coordinate her own reception when she was told that there would be someone there to do it for her. I really wanted to give this venue 5 stars but I'm very disappointed with my experience.

I had my reception this past weekend at Astoria on March 11, 2017. The venue is beautiful, the food was good, and the cake was good. However, the communication was lacking. From the beginning Max wasn't too responsive to my calls or emails. It would take him days to weeks to respond to an email or call. When we went to do our food tasting we were left in the room after finishing our food for over 45min without him coming to check to see if we were done. The week of my week I sent an email asking a few questions about the reception that he never responded to. He never responded to my calls either so my fiancé had to go to venue and ask him in person. Max did seem nice at times but most times he seemed irritated with me even though I only reached out to him every so often (once every month). We were told that the night of our reception there would be a coordinater there to make sure everything ran smoothly. Max assured me that this person would communicate with the DJ, myself, and any other key person to make sure everything happened in a timely matter. The night of Amanda (I believe that was her name I only saw her twice) seemed nice and asked how I wanted the night to flow and I told her. I also mentioned to let the DJ, photographer, & videographer know as well which she did not. She told me husband and I to go into the ballroom mingle with our guest then come back out and wait to be introduced. My husband was upset by this because he told her that's not how he wanted the night to start. We went up into our suite only to have the DJ text my husband asking what time would we be making an entrance. The coordinater had not told him so my husband went to back into the ballroom to find her but was no where to be found. One of my bridesmaids then gave the timeline to the DJ. My bridesmaid also had the waitstaff being us appitizers to our room because we had none. Once we entered the reception the coordinater was again no where to be found and we all stood there confused as to what was about to happen. Astoria was an amazing venue and they were very accommodating! They worked within our budget and helped create an amazing space for our ceremony and reception. The dance floor was spacious and the room felt big but still intimate. The uplighting was amazing as I wanted lots of pink lights and they made my vision come to life! Lora was always very responsive and great to work with! We found this location on a whim and knew immediately after walking in that it was the right place for us! My husband loved the room with the chandeliers and lighting as well and knew it was a great fit. It is also very affordable being in the suburbs. I would definitely recommend this venue!

Astoria is a strong alternative to avoiding a \"big dollar\" downtown wedding. Their all inclusive capabilities make it a great venue to have the ceremony and reception in one place. The room was set up as described and looked awesome with the colored up- lighting at the walls. The food and table service was also as promised. The main room is very large and can accommodate a big crowd. The dance floor is quite large, too. The only suggestion I can offer would be to have a minimum of 3 bartenders for the cocktail hour, then 2 for the remainder of the evening. The room was set up as discussed and was very comfortable. Lora, Max and staff did a fine job. We were very pleased with the whole event.

I had my Baby Shower here at Astoria Banquets on March 6, 2016. The staff especially Lora and Max and service were Excellent. From the beginning till the end everything was perfect. The décor and lighting was Breathtaking. My family and friends enjoyed the whole event. The food and pricing was excellent. I would recommend this venue to all my family and friends. My husband and I searched near and far for reception venues, and studied contracts with a fine tooth comb before choosing to do business with Astoria Banquets. Not only did the Astoria offer the best package and value, but they offered a stunningly beautiful venue, delicious food, flexible and kind management, and incredible service the day of the wedding.\r\rI highly recommend choosing to have your wedding at the Astoria for so many reasons. At the Astoria, you have the entire venue to yourself, two private bridal suites upstairs, and a HUGE, amazing bar area separate from the reception room.\r\rThe Astoria offers many options for decorating and lay out, all of which are simply stunning. Lora, the owner, has an amazing eye for design, and helped our Fall theme come to life simply perfectly. \r\rThe Astoria allowed us to bring in our own fall decor, while doing a great deal of beautiful decorating for us. Their staff was so kind and helpful throughout the entire planning process, and most importantly, on the wedding day.\r\rThe day of the wedding, both owners were present to make sure everything was set up perfectly, and we had a manager there with us all night to be sure that everything went as planned. \r\rOur guests were truly blown away by our wedding at the Astoria. While it may not look like much on the outside, it is incredible on the inside, and that's all that counts!\r\rAlso, to dispel any rumors, our cake was phenomenal! Astoria banquets made our wedding absolutely perfect. Max and Lora always responded in a timely fashion and made sure every detail was exactly what we wanted. We had a good sized firemen wedding and they incorporated details into the venue for us, changing two of the wall lightings to red and green during the reception, and allowing fire helmets to sit on top of the pillars for the ceremony. Astoria is beautiful and it is completely customizable to what you want. That is one of the reasons we fell in love with it. The entire staff was very attentive and made sure every detail was looked after. We had the entire venue for our wedding and it was perfect to not have to worry about multiple weddings in the same location. They took care of majority of the things you as the bride and groom need to worry about, the linens, the centerpieces, up lighting, ceiling decor, chandelier lighting, cake, and the food and drinks. Being able to have our ceremony at the same location as the reception was ideal for us, and allowing us to take some pictures after the ceremony at the alter before they transitioned the room. The cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres were out in the large foyer and there was a large bar area and outdoor patio. The flow of the entire night went smoothly. We didn't have any concerns the day of, the staff at Astoria took care of everything. \rThank you Max, Lora and the staff of Astoria Banquets for our perfect wedding.

The outside of Astoria doesn't look that appealing, but then you walk through the door and the chandeliers are absolutely breath-taking. Astoria is a beautiful venue with so much room and space, which makes it more comfortable for guests (we had 200+). One of the selling points for us was the convenience because the package includes so many things - food, drinks, cake, centerpieces, and on and on. It is really a great one-stop-shop for wedding planning. The food was really good (we received lots of compliments) and there were plenty of staff so people weren't kept waiting. It was easy to get a hold of Max if I had a question or needed to change something, they also were able to work with us as we needed to add some guests after the due date and they were kind enough to allow us to do that. The only downfall was that I asked for no mushrooms in the steak dish and there was and my mom was disappointed that she wasn't able to drink champagne throughout the night, and those are two very minor issues. Overall, I would highly recommend Astoria - there price is amazing for all they have to offer and for the quality and beauty of the venue and the services!

Astoria is a beautiful venue with so much room and space, which makes it more comfortable for guests (we had 200+). One of the selling points for us was the convenience because the package includes so many things - food, drinks, cake, centerpieces, and on and on. It is really a great one-stop-shop for wedding planning. The food was really good (we received lots of compliments) and there were plenty of staff so people weren't kept waiting. It was easy to get a hold of Max if I had a question or needed to change something, they also were able to work with us as we needed to add some guests after the due date and they were kind enough to allow us to do that. The only downfall was that I asked for no mushrooms in the steak dish and there was and my mom was disappointed that she wasn't able to drink champagne throughout the night, and those are two very minor issues. Overall, I would highly recommend Astoria - there price is amazing for all they have to offer and for the quality and beauty of the venue and the services!

I could not have been happier with choosing Astoria to have my wedding and reception. Max was amazing and he helped me with everything I needed and that's a bit plus because I tend to be a little overbearing at times. Anything I needed I could call and he would be willing to assist. Even if I had to leave a voicemail it was returned the same day. Everything turned out beautiful I could not have chosen a better venue. From the decor to the knives and forks on the table were perfect. I highly suggest you check out Astoria before you choose a reception or wedding venue.

This venue is amazing! I had a theme of black, red, and gold and it came out fantastic. I received so many compliments from guest stating how beautiful it was. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the owners were very organized and on top of things. I chose the premium package that provided 6 hours for reception time, 5 hours of open bar, and enough decoration options to create the theme I wanted. I definitely recommend this venue if you are trying to stay within a reasonable budget but also want to achieve a classy look.

When we first started looking at reception spaces, this was one of the first we saw, and while we looked at others, we always came back to Astoria. The staff were incredibly helpful and listened to all our questions, and really helped us make the day perfect and what we wanted. The rooms were decorated beautifully and I couldn't have imagined our wedding day somewhere else. All of our guests loved the decorations and the Christmas trees made for a beautiful backdrop for lots of them to get family pictures in. I would refer anyone to Astoria.

Our room was set up beautifully and we didn't even notice the other event was going on. Max assisted us throughout the planning process and he was great. He always answered our questions and worked with us until everything was the way we wanted it to be. On the day of our wedding, I thought we forgot to bring the toss away bouquet and Max had several spare ones for me to choose from. Luckily, someone remembered to grab ours and we didn't need to use the one Max had for us but it was so great that he was ready and willing to help us out in a bind. The packages here are better than any other's that we found and you can't beat the prices! We loved Astoria!!

I can't say enough great things about Astoria. There are no words to express how grateful I am to them. If you want a beautiful stress free day, this is the place for you. Having a place that was not only all inclusive with decor and cake was great but the fact that they even helped us set out our favors and place cards and a ton of other little thing was so awesome! They helped make our wedding so much better than we ever expected. We worked with Max and Ayla and they were both extremely helpful. Max was amazing. He listened to everything that we wanted and even helped us with some great suggestions of his own. We might have driven him a little crazy with some last minute changes but you would have never guessed it because he was a complete professional the entire time and always available. Ayla was so sweet and extremely attentive on the day of. It was nice to know that she was always just a few steps away if we needed anything. Even Frank, the bartender, was awesome. By the time my night was over, I felt like I knew everyone that had helped us for years. \r\rThe room was absolutely gorgeous. The waitstaff was huge and helped everyone get served very quickly. Every single employee went out of their way to make everything perfect. Our cake was included in the package from The Baking Institute and it was so detailed and beautiful. There was another wedding going on at the same time but the room was nicely sound proofed and you couldn't hear anything going on unless you were in the hallway. Astoria even recommended our hotel, Wyndham Gardens, and we were so happy with that as well. Our guests were amazed with how beautiful everything was. People have told me that it looks like we spent tens of thousands of dollars. That's the great thing... we didn't have to but it definitely looked like we did! I know that I will be recommending Astoria to everyone that I know. \r\rThank you so much!\r\rChristina

Astoria was just wonderful in their service to my husband and I. They went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted to make our day special. They decorated the place so nice that it took my breath away. Their prices of their packages were great. You definitely got more for your buck than you would expect. I am a certified wedding planner and I liked everything about this venue. I would definitely tell future brides to look into Astoria when looking for a venue. My husband and I can honestly say we had the most amazing day of our lives. Even our guests were taken back by how beautiful the place was.

We had both our ceremony and reception here and Astoria provided nearly everything with the package we chose. From the ceremony decor to the wine selection, our guest are still talking about how lovely everything was. They are very reasonable price wise as well. Highly recommend them.

We chose Astoria Banquets because they had the most exquisite interior. It was exactly what we were looking for. They have many options for ceremony decor if you choose to have yours there (we did). Our reception setup was done perfectly and the night was flawless. The reason I did not rate 5 stars is because of a hiccup we had along the way. We did not meet our guaranteed minimum for the event. While we still had to pay for that amount of people, we were given no option as to taking any of the paid and uneaten meals home. We offered to pick them up in advance unprepared, or take them home that evening. We were told we could not do either. If it was a couple meals it would not have been a big deal, but it was 25 meals. I felt a little taken advantage of at this point.

Astoria Banquet is absolutely beautiful. The exterior is not very attractive but the interior is a hidden gem. Everyone was so helpful and made our special day absolutely wonderful. I loved working with Jessica. She was amazing. Anything that we needed she was on top of it.
