My experience with Atelier On The Hudson was incredible!!!My husband & I celebrated my son's wedding for some east coast family & friends since we also had an additional one in the Caribbean. From my son's initial walkthrough & all planning stages it was seamless & effortless.The immediate correspondence & vendor recommendations were on point.The food is absolutely delicious!!!!! Our guests are still speaking about it & the service staff had great attention to detail.The view is stunning!!!!! I want to personally thank Andrew/Larry & Giancarlo’s for the true essence of superb customer service throughout the entire experience.I highly recommend this venue as it has a lofty feel with elements of class, great atmosphere with a wonderful experience for our families/friends & most importantly my son & my daughter in law.

Our daughters wedding was this past Sunday. The wait staff was extremely attentive to all of our guests. They were extremely kind and caring. The view was phenomenal. BUTFor future brides who could potentially choose this as your venue, do not expect communication once you have booked your event. We had countless unanswered emails the months prior to the wedding. We were told that we could arrive prior to the ceremony to set up favors and flowers, only to be turned away. The room was unfinished as guests arrived. My daughter was in tears and my husband and the bridal party were so upset. The grooms men went to a restaurant near by for food and drink as they prepared when they were told there was nothing the venue could provide. If the view is important to you, this place is outstanding. If anything else is important, I advise you look elsewhere.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception at Atelier Ballroom last weekend and we could not have been more thrilled with how the evening went. Andrew and the entire Atelier staff did a phenomenal job managing every detail of our event. I’ll provide more detail below but we absolutely recommend Atelier for weddings/events!The Space: From the moment we first toured the room, we were blown away by the view. The huge windows make the view of the Manhattan skyline crystal clear no matter where in the room your guests are seated. The outside terrace is spacious and made for memorable photos throughout the night. The unique light fixtures look so cool in photos, but we also recommend getting the additional lighting package for extra fun party vibes. The Food/Drinks: We’ve been getting nonstop compliments about the food from all our guests. We have some picky eaters on both sides of the family and everyone was raving about it. Passed cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres were delicious and our dinner came out piping hot. For dessert, the petit fours were so cute and yummy and we did our cake through Atelier and it was SO good - definitely recommend the cannoli cream. Top shelf liquor is included in the wedding open bar package and the drinks and bar staff were fantastic. The Staff: We cannot be more thankful to the whole Atelier staff who absolutely took the best care of our guests. We’re still getting comments about how thoughtful and efficient the waitstaff were. The Planning: Andrew was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. He made us excited for all the possibilities for our reception and is an efficient/timely communicator. He was able to answer every question we threw his way and went above and beyond to make sure we had the night of our lives.

Andrew was a fantastic maître d! Although he is straight & curt in his emails, he was very warm & hospitable in person. He is on point & managed our wedding event very well overseeing many small details that we had no time for. He made wonderful suggestions, assisted us with many things, kept us on track & was always there when we needed him. It was reassuring to have him with us which took away much stress during the event. The space itself is fabulous, the food great, views are amazing, staff nice. Definitely a most memorable event!

We held my daughter's bat mitzvah at the Atelier Ballroom. The location is perfect - right on the water with a great outdoor patio overlooking the Hudson and NYC. Food options were excellent and is much better than standard hotel buffets. Service was excellent and Andrew was very helpful in making sure the event ran smoothly.

I recently celebrated my wedding ceremony and reception at Atelier Ballroom and the night surpassed all of my hopes and dreams! Andrew was very communicative for about a year planning period. He provided helpful suggestions throughout and with how well the night flowed I knew he put a lot of time into prepping staff. The night of the wedding he checked on me multiple times and we had to make a last minute call to move indoors and his team did that with ease. Note to mention, one of the staff members danced with my husband’s grandmother at one point, I thought that was so thoughtful and adorable.Our family and friends are still raving about the quality of the food, the spectacular view, the kind and helpful staff. If I could plan this wedding again I would go with Atelier a million times over. Everything was wonderful!

We could not be more grateful for Andrew and the entire Atelier staff for helping us have a BEAUTIFUL wedding- Andrew is so responsive and was in close communication from the time we booked the venue through the end of the reception, and he was so accommodating. Hudson & Co. is one of the best Jersey City restaurants, and the food was divine, but more importantly, the staff was endlessly attentive and friendly- they really went above and beyond. I 100% recommend Atelier Ballroom!

I was starting to discuss the wedding details and he wanted to hang up the phone because apparently he has an appointment with another potential customer and asked me to email. The director Andrew and the staff were very easy to work with and were exceptionally kind to making this event a success and special for the bride to be. The food and the bar was wonderful! I had my wedding at the Atelier and it was perfect! I had no idea on how to plan anything when it came to cakes, food, ceremony details, etc. Andrew the director, helped me figure all these things out and gave me beautiful ideas when I was totally clueless. He was super quick to answer all my questions and on the day of, he helped coordinate everything and made sure everything was just perfect. The location is absolutely beautiful with the river and the skyline in the background, my guests couldn't get enough of the view and it made it perfect for stunning pictures. To be honest, I didn't really need to decorate the place because it is already so pretty on its own! I highly recommend the Atelier and of course Andrew who will make your day really really special!

I had my wedding at the Atelier and it was perfect! I had no idea on how to plan anything when it came to cakes, food, ceremony details, etc. Andrew the director, helped me figure all these things out and gave me beautiful ideas when I was totally clueless. He was super quick to answer all my questions and on the day of, he helped coordinate everything and made sure everything was just perfect. The location is absolutely beautiful with the river and the skyline in the background, my guests couldn't get enough of the view and it made it perfect for stunning pictures. I have used Atelier several times to host a few cocktail parties. I love the extra bonus of having the terrace with the ballroom.Andrew and the staff were AMAZING! The chef even came out to ensure the stations looked good, in my eyes they were to perfection. This place is a hidden golden gem.

We just hosted a rehearsal dinner for our first grandchild, the view at this event space is spectacular!Great menu choices, I was happy they were willing to customize the menu I had interest in.The Staff was extremely professional, Andrew is fantastic with replying quickly on emails and offers excellent customer service.We had such a great time!

The Atellier is spectacular! Recently I celebrated my daughter’s sweet 16 at the ballroom. Perfect place to celebrate this special day. The staircase was so beautiful for my daughters official entrance. The food was on point, the dance floor was the perfect size and facing the city. My daughter’s friends and our family were very impressed.

This place provides THE WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’ve booked many events at high end banquet halls in NJ and never have I had an experience like I had while trying to book an event at Atelier Ballroom. Let me start by saying it should have been a red flag that every Saturday I inquired about on short notice (in the prime months of April & May) were all available. For starters, the event coordinator I worked with, Chelsi, was extremely unresponsive to my emails. Every time I had an inquiry, she’d say she’d get back to me with an answer, and I wouldn’t hear back from her. I’d literary have to send an email (which I rarely received a response from) then call to track her down. I felt like I was chasing her to give her my money. On top of that, the menu items they offer for the price of $140 per person is pitiful. Tater tots, pub fries, pizza, buffalo wings, spinach and artichoke dip.. I’m sorry, is this a sports bar or an upscale catering facility? They also tried to tell me they would provide me with 6 pizzas (8 slices per) for 125 guests!! I couldn’t believe my ears. Were more than half my guests supposed to just not have food to eat?!Last I heard from Chelsi, she was supposed to get back to me about different menu options. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard a thing. Well guess what? I took my business elsewhere! Oh, and by the way, they don’t have free parking for guests, and they don’t validate at the garage nearby, so that’s another expense you’re left having to foot the bill for.
