When I first started looking into which venues were out there I was overwhelmed with options. Then I narrowed my search down to \"resort\" venues. The Atkinson Resort & Country Club popped up and checked every box on my fiance and my wish list. We chose to marry here and it was outstanding. We had arranged to marry under the trellis, but had a rainstorm come wedding day. The Atkinson did not blink an eye and set everything up for an indoor ceremony perfectly. Then the food! Wow. We loved every bite and so did our 150 guests. Event coordinators, Taylor and Jennifer were accommodating, responsive, and truly made planning a large wedding much easier. My husband and I had the best day of our lives and highly recommend getting married here!

After researching several venues for our wedding we chose the Atkinson. Being a native of Haverhill, I have been to this venue in the past but had never attended a wedding there. The grounds are gorgeous and we liked the overall feel. Chloe is sales started and ended our wedding journey. She was extremely prompt at answering every one of my questions. The Atkinson has rules that other people I mentioned them to had never heard of. Most of your vendors must have a minimum of a million dollars in liability insurance. This does the vendors you are able to use and it’s important to know before you start booking vendors. We used Joe from Get Down Tonight for our DJ. They are on their preferred vendor list. He also did our uplighting in the Tuscany room. We used Kathryn Bedard Photography which we have used previously for family photos and Emily’s Cake House. These are the vendors they required to have the insurance. Our day of coordinator was Robin, I was very stressed about our drop appointment but she was extremely detail orientated and involved! She was patient with our other vendors. Honestly our wedding day was a complete dream. It turned out gorgeous and the day of ran as smoothly as possible! At the last minute I requested we add the riser and change the chairs for the ceremony, they made it happen. Both the reception and ceremony rooms were gorgeous and the food of course was amazing. If you are looking for elegant with the convenience of having the hotel and food in one place, this is the place to do it! I also highly recommend booking during “winter” season. Not only does it save you money, it gives you a free indoor ceremony in a beautiful space and much more flexibility. We pushed our wedding up and booked it three weeks into winter season but we’re still able to take photos outside, avoid the snow and have a fall vibe.

We couldn’t have picked a better venue for ourselves for our wedding day! Chloe made the whole process as smooth as possible and Robin coordinated the whole day as best as it could have gone. The food was all around delicious. We even had our rehearsal dinner here the night before. I highly recommend a Sunday wedding as you get the whole bridal suite for the day and it felt more laid back than a Friday/Saturday wedding. There was so much included in the wedding packages. The hotel rooms were nice and spacious as well. We will definitely be coming back as hotel guests when possible. We could not recommend this venue more!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Atkinson. Every single person we dealt with was kind, knowledgeable, and bent over backwards to help us in any way they could. The venue itself is just gorgeous. There was a private bridal suite with plenty of room to spread out and get ready. The food was delicious which I feel like isn't a given for weddings. There were so many options for appetizers and desserts. The bartender rocked it. And our day of coordinator was hilarious and took care of everything. All the pressure was off of us so we could just enjoy the day. If we ever have another large event I will absolutely have it here. Thank you Atkinson for everything!

We had our wedding at Atkinson Country club on 6/17 and it was everything I could ask for and more. From the beginning Atkinson was dedicated to helping us have the most special wedding we possibly could. Chloe was who we worked with mostly and she was quick to respond and helpful. She was so kind when we finally met her in person and was great to work with. Taylor helped us set up our rehearsal dinner and also answered all questions in a timely manner. The food for rehearsal dinner and our wedding was absolutely delicious and our guest continue to compliment it. Michelle was our day of wedding coordinator and I honestly cannot say enough about her. Our wedding day was a rainy day and she allowed us to take pictures where we wanted without hesitation. she made sure to go above and beyond and that everything ran smoothly. She was reassuring, confident, and we cannot praise her enough. Our guests had an absolute blast and we truly had the best wedding at Atkinson Country club. I would recommend this venue to everyone.

We loved having our wedding at Atkinson Country Club! The whole staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make our day feel so special. We worked initially with Chloe, who was quick to respond and very helpful; and our day-of coordinator was Michelle, who was truly amazing at what she does! She took what could have been a very stressful day and helped put us at such ease knowing that our wedding was in the best hands possible. We had about 200 people, and since their space can fit more than double that, it was comfortable and never felt squished. We got married in February, and both the ceremony and venue spaces were beyond beautiful. We went outside to the gazebo for some beautiful nighttime photos. The bridal suite is so spacious and fit all of us plus the vendors very comfortably. We stayed at a different hotel to be with our guests, but having the option to stay right on site the night before or night of is such a great perk! The food is also amazing, both for the wedding and rehearsal dinners. We would truly recommend Atkinson for a beautiful and comfortable venue!

I just recently had my wedding at Atkinson and I was so happy with how it turned out! Everyone loved the venue and raves about how great the food was. I got married indoors and opened the wall so I had the legacy ballroom. From the start, Jen was super quick to answer emails and phone calls, and trust me, we had a lot! The real star of the show, however, was our day of coordinator, Michelle. When everything got a little bit messed up, Michelle came in and told me not to worry that she would fix it. I was amazed with how quickly she solved the problems that had been stressing me out for months. Michelle was quick to answer emails, super helpful with accommodating our needs, worked well with our wedding planner, and ensured I had the most magical day! If you get married here, definitely try to work with Michelle!! She’s what is causing my review to be 10/10. I cannot say enough good things!

Where do I even start.... Atkinson was amazing. Our day was exactly how we pictured it, probably better. What I love about this venue is everything is right here. Friday night the wedding party had dinner in the tavern, and we stayed over in the hotel rooms on site for two nights. They rooms were very clean, some had views of the golf course in the morning-- not a bad way to wake up on your wedding day:)On wedding day, the girls got ready in the bridal suite which was awesome-- it's two large rooms, perfect amount of space there was 10 of us all together in there and didn't feel crowded or overwhelming. I ordered the breakfast & lunch platters which really saved the day, they were nicely done with a coffee & tea station, some bagels, pastries, it was an easy way for us all to snack all day without bothering anyone! There is also a balcony overlooking the reception room, so you get to see down the entire day while they set up. Jenifer was the wedding sales manager, and she was very helpful through everything. We did ask for a few things, and she was accommodating! We wanted a champagne station in our ceremony room, and she made it happen- huge hit. Michelle was our day of coordinator and my god......hat off to her. I have worked in the restaurant business (weddings at that), and I know how difficult it can be to run a large wedding like this. Not to mention this was a pretty rowdy group. She was AMAZING- very professional, nice, and really wanted to make us happy. She really helped to make the reception room beautiful with my decorations (even with how many I had)- it was stunning, and I didn't have to do a thing. The guests raved about the food. My family at the end of the night said the food wouldn't stop coming! Not a terrible problem to have! It went by so fast, and I am so happy we chose this venue. It is the perfect venue for a large group at a fraction of the cost of others- they do a lot of discounts for off season weddings. Thank you all for everything and for dealing with such a crazy group-- you should feel sorry for us this is our friend group! lol!With Love, Monica & Teddy xx

Our day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Every interaction with ARCC over the past year of planning was wonderful. My emails were promptly answered and all of my little requests fulfilled. Our day of coordinator Holly was amazing. She paid attention to every little detail and everything from start to finish went smoothly! She really took all the stress and worry out of the day. You could tell she truly loves what she does. The servers and bartender were friendly and not one wine glass went empty! The food was delicious! Everyone is still raving about it! Everything was cooked perfectly and hot even though we did plated dinners. Everything was just perfect!

We had our 8/27/22 wedding at Atkinson and could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. From my initial conversations with Jennifer, to our planning meeting with Kimberley to our day of coordinator Michelle, everything was perfect. Our guests could not get over how excellent the food was, how attentive the wait staff and bartenders were and how beautiful the venue was. The only downside to the venue is that you are very limited as to where you can take pictures. It would have been nice to be able to take pictures on the golf course or near the golf course but we could only take them at our ceremony location. While we understand the safety reasoning behind this, for the amount of money spent it would be an added bonus. Either way, we would not let this deter you from booking the venue. Our day was perfect, thank you Atkinson!

The venue was great and so was the day of person we had. My biggest issue was communication with the event sales team was horrible! They made everything from start to finish a nightmare. My emails were always “lost“ and when I tried to call they would never return my calls. My warning sign should have been when we showed up for the appointment I requested, which they responded to and they had no idea we were coming. They also sent us contracts for another couples wedding. The most infuriating part was after they sent me my final legal document about the day of and I triple checked with them that everything was all set a few weeks after the wedding they tried to say we still owed them even though I asked multiple people multiple times if they needed anything else from us. They have now been harassing me and my mother over there own screw up. If you don’t want a NIGHTMARE chose another venue!

Michelle was key to our wedding day as our day of coordinator. Every single person who helped at Atkinson was beyond helpful, we started with Jennifer then to Kimberly and then Michelle. The entire staff knows what they are doing and knows how to make everything perfect. We appreciate every single person for making our wedding day as special as it was. Michelle, as well as everyone else was very responsive to emails. She even dressed in the colors of the wedding! She knew every detail and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. You could tell she wanted for us to just be happy and enjoy the day. She was such a great help the day of our wedding. Definitely my right hand girl. Everyone loved the venue and could not stop asking where we found it because it was so beautiful! Thank you Atkinson for making our special day possible.

We recently had our ceremony and reception at Atkinson Country Club, our experience working with the Sales Team was frustrating. The Sales Team was disorganized up until days before our wedding & after. We had multiple occasions of communications with incorrect information. If it was not for our transition over to our Day of Coordinator, I would have felt extremely nervous going into our event. Our Day of Coordinator was a pleasure to work with & the day came together beautifully.

The Atkinson Resort & Country Club was the first and only venue my husband and I looked at. Jennifer was amazing, she was responsive with all questions via email and once she was promoted informed my husband and I that we would be receiving emails from a woman named Michelle. We specifically chose this venue because of the scenery outside. The weather was great and the staff was amazing. Despite a wasp flying up my dress and stinging me, everything ran smoothly! Everyone had a great time :) Michelle was there every step of the way, she even made sure I stopped to eat and drink something. Look no further than here!!!

I knew the second we drove up to ARCC it would be where we got married. The grounds are gorgeous. Jennifer is incredibly professional and super fast to respond to any of your questions. If you send Jennifer an email, I can almost guarantee she will respond to you within 12 hours. It gave me SOO much peace of mind during the wedding planning process. My favorite part about ARCC is they are wedding venue machine, they pump out AMAZING weddings ALL.THE.TIME. Working with ARCC is like working with your own wedding planner, they will keep you on track and on schedule. I found this to be amazing!! If your someone who needs help with the wedding planning process or doesn't want to plan every single little detail like, where to put the dance floor, or when to cut the cake; then this is the perfect venue for you!!

I recently toured this venue and was very caught off guard with how rude Jennifer was. It seemed she had better things to do than give us a tour of the property. She couldn’t even walk us outside to the ceremony space, she gave me the packet and was told to walk myself around. The grounds it’s self were beautiful. But it was evident the golfing still takes presidente over weddings/ events (ie only given an hour before the ceremony to setup). The ceremony chairs are also pretty ugly and when I asked about having rented ones brought in, she made it seem like a huge inconvenience. She could have been having a bad day but she really ruined our experience and lost our business.

Also the landscape there made for amazing wedding photos!

My fiance and I toured a few venues in the Southern NH area, but when we met with Jennifer at ARCC, we both left knowing this was OUR wedding venue. It had everything we wanted, at a price that we could actually afford, without feeling like we had to settle. From day one, Jennifer was so helpful, answering any and all questions that a newly engaged couple has. Even throughout the pandemic, she handled everything with ease, ensuring us that our 4/24/21 wedding would still be perfect for us even if restrictions needed to be in place. She was still able to get us a menu tasting, which was extremely important to us as food is the #1 thing guests remember from a wedding! Luckily, our wedding ended up at the tail end of Covid, and restrictions were lifted almost entirely by the time our day arrived. Nicole was our Day Of Coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough - she was there whenever we needed her and walked us through every single step of the way, from the drop appointment to the rehearsal dinner to the actual wedding. She didn't spare a single detail.Our wedding was everything we imagined and more - we even had the ability to get an outside Linen vendor to come in and drape the Legacy Ballroom in the most beautiful ceiling drapery and chandeliers!!The photo opportunities are stunning, and our guests continue to rave about what a beautiful wedding we had. We started planning our wedding before the pandemic even started. We visited Atkinson Resort and simply fell in love with the place. As we chose to get married during the winter, it would be perfect for the wedding to take place inside. During the first few months after we signed our contract with them, we didn't have much contact with the venue, it left us a little bit worried but then we understood that this is how it works, since the most frequent contacts start when it is closer to the wedding date. Due to the pandemic we had a lot of problems with the New Hampshire state rules, but Jennifer, Kristin and Michelle were wonderful in helping us solve everything. Our day was magical from start to finish, the space for the bride to dress up and idea. Our guests praised the food very much and we also loved each other. To help we still had a lot of snow that made our day even more perfect.

Both Jennifer and Michelle made this experience easy and beautiful in the short amount of time we had to plan it. My husband and I had to cancel our original wedding, and Jennifer helped us plan this wedding in under 3 months! She explained everything in detail and kept us up to date on the current regulations for NH and made sure everything was smooth for us. Michelle was the coordinator the day of and was incredible! She was extremely helpful and made sure the entire day went smoothly and managed all our vendors. She even took care of last minute tweeks outside our control.. I had no need to worry the entire day except getting myself ready for the day! Food was excellent, I got a lot of compliments on the food and venue. Five stars isn't enough for Jennifer and Michelle - highly recommend!

We got married at Atkinson in August, and truly can't be happier nor could have picked a better venue! Service was exceptional from the moment we toured through the rehearsak dinner and to our big day. Jen and her team truly go above and beyond to make sure your day is nothing but perfect and exactly how you envisoned it. They listen to what your vision and budget are and work with you to make it happen. She made the planning proccess easy and so much less stressful than we had thought it was going to be. Even with being in the middle of a pandemic and having to make many changes and adjustments, she was in constant communication with updates and changes and continued to make the process easy and so much less stressful; efficiently and thouroughly answering any and all questions we had throughout the entire process. The food was delicious, all of our guests raved about it for weeks afterwards! The venue itself is meticulously maintained and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The entire team at Atkinson is topnotch, and truly strive and succeed at giving the best service, no matter the circumstances. We would highly recommend Atkinson Resort and Country Club for anyone looking for a wedding venue!

We were so excited for Atkinson after our initial meeting with Jennifer. Once the week prior to our big day came, things went downhill. Numerous conversations were held regarding a life threatening peanut allergy and we were assured there was a peanut free facility. This was so beyond false and a peanut dessert was served. The day of the wedding was just a disaster. My husband and I did not feel special at all. The list of things is honestly too long to say. The only positive was the scenery and the food (minus the significant allgery misinformation). I spoke with the manager after the wedding and was assured something would be done to help make this right. This was in November. I have heard nothing since then. We were so excited and now can barely think about our wedding day without being devastated.

Julie and Jennifer (and Michelle too) were phenomenal. They were super informative, quick to respond and easy to work with. They took the stress out of wedding planning. The reception went off without a hitch. The food was great, the hall was great and the hotel room was roomy and clean. Atkinson was a great value compared to other venues, even though it was less expensive there were no sacrifices in terms of looks, size or overall experience. We highly recommend Atkinson to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Atkinson Resort and Country Club absolutely amazed us on every level throughout the process of our wedding planning. M y Husband and I both are chefs in the resort/wedding industry and were looking for a venue and caterer that exuded professionalism and quality. The team, especially Jennifer and our DOC Julie, were the greatest! We communicated from Colorado during the planning process, but still felt very much involved and heard from such a long distance, thanks to Jennifer! Julie was perfect the day of, handling our enormous family and wedding party with ease. The food was amazing, our guests are still raving about it! Not a negative to think of! Truly Amazing!

The team at Atkinson Country Club exceeded our high expectations.Everyone from sales (Jennifer) to the wedding coordinator (Julie) and the event staff, kitchen, bartenders and servers were very professional and a joy to work with. The facility was perfect for our event. We used the outdoor trellis for the ceremony and the full Legacy Ballroom. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to the careful planning and attention to detail by the full staff.A terrific job by the whole team!

From the very first visit to Atkinson, the venue itself and the staff stood out above the others. Jennifer was very clearly an expert wedding planner and sales manager. She made sure to go over everything in great detail on the very first meeting so we left with a good understanding of what our wedding day would look like. She continued to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in the wedding planning months to come and helped us feel less confused and overwhelmed with the stresses of wedding planning. Our day of coordinator Keri was equally as helpful. She went over our day of timeline in great detail and set everything up and took it down for us and made me feel so much better about not having to worry about anything. The food was exquisite, from the wedding tasting to the day of food, everything was so good and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food! The Tuscany ballroom, where we had our reception, was beautiful and the perfect amount of space for a smaller wedding. Our guests also appreciated having essentially the whole bottom floor to ourselves. The only bad thing I have to say about Atkinson was the hotel front desk staff the night before our wedding. I booked 12 rooms in advance for our guests and made sure to go over who was staying in what room a few weeks before. When it came time to check in they “couldn’t find the paperwork” showing who was in what room so the check in process took way longer than it should have since I had to stay with the first few people to help check them in. It took about 30 minutes or more and as the bride the night before my wedding, I was clearly very stressed because we were on a time constraint. Rather than being apologetic and helpful, a few of the staff members were giving me attitude as if it was my fault they didn’t know who was in what room! It was just a very stressful experience and it set a very bad tone for the rest of my evening. Outside of the front desk staff (who had been incredibly helpful up until the night before my wedding), I have nothing but great and amazing things to say about choosing Atkinson as my wedding reception venue! The outdoor scenery made for a beautiful fall wedding and even inside the venue is immaculate and also made for great pictures. I would highly recommend Atkinson Country Club to anyone!

Oh my goodness! Where to start?! Well first off Atkinson was the ONLY venue we looked at! I knew from the moment I walked in this was where we would get married. From our initial meeting with Jen to the very end she was nothing but pure professional, kind, and so very patient with my thousands of questions. All of the information was so well laid out and easy to understand. There were endless options for food and ways to really design the menu to feel like our own. Jen really made things a cakewalk by providing us with a list of vendors for literally anything we’d need to make our day amazing. Our day of coordinator, Kerri, was so wonderful. She was literally there to help with anything and I had no need to worry about any little detail on my wedding day and could just focus on the fun! There are really no words to truly express our gratitude for all Jen & the entire Atkinson staff did to make our day as special as it was. They really went above and beyond!!I wish we could do it all over again! They helped to make that our wedding day the best day of our lives!!

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! Jennifer was so helpful planning and providing multiple quotes of options for days, rooms, and meals to find the perfect fit for our needs and our budgets. She answered all of our questions promptly and was very friendly and helpful. The tasting went better than we anticipated (who actually enjoys wedding food?). The food was delicious!! We went with the bistro sirloin and the chicken Florentine. We each ordered one day of because they were so good we couldn’t pick! Our day of coordinator, Tina, was incredible. I never thought I would be comfortable leaving someone else in charge of our big day, but Tina is one of those people that you feel comfortable with right away. She asked plenty of questions to really get a feel for our vision for decor, timeline, set up, etc. We are so grateful for Tina making our day run smoothly and even stepping in to save me when my bustle wasn’t cooperating! We also did our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant on site and we had a great time! I would 100% recommend ACC! Especially if you want beautiful scenery for your wedding photos. The grounds are seriously so pretty.

We don't know where to start with how happy we were with ARCC. From the location and price (given the time of day, year, and military discount) to the professionalism, calm, attentiveness, and flexibility of Jennifer and Tina (our day of coordinator), everything was perfect. We highly recommend going with their vendor (cake+flowers+DJ); honestly we don't think the vendors could have been procured for that amount individually. Definitely take advantage of their tasting event, but if you can't make it, don't worry as every meal option is amazing.

Venue: The Atkinson Resort and Country Club exceeded our expectations! From the scenic ride onto the property we knew that the Atkinson Resort and Country Club was special. Our room was spacious and modern which also included a private bridal suite. The Atkinson Resort and Country Club is open to the public for golf and has the Stage Coach Grille as well as the Tavern. Side note: Complimentary golf was included in our wedding package – major points with my fiancé. Wedding Sales Manager: The Sales Manager Jen C. is absolutely amazing. I do not have enough accolades and praise to thank her for everything she did for our wedding. Jen is very easy to work with and is truly passionate about her job and very well organized. I cannot thank Jen enough for always being prompt in replying to e-mail and always available to answer (the many) questions we had. Jen is the best in the industry - hands down!Food:The food at the ARCC does not disappoint by any means. The food tasting was so much fun and all of the options were excellent and priced fairly. For the wedding we opted for the Station buffet vs. the plated meal. We wanted to ensure that all our guests had options and ate enough at our wedding. The station option also includes a mini pastry display so that we did not have to buy a huge wedding cake to feed everyone.Event Coordinator: Julie A. the event coordinator is truly a blessing in disguise who made our wedding day perfect with attention to detail. Another major selling point for us to have our wedding at the ARCC is that the wedding package includes a day of event coordinator. For the actual wedding day, we had Julie from early afternoon up until the very end after midnight. I was upstairs with my bridal party and my fiancé and the groomsmen were in the bridal suite and it was like Julie was always in two places at once. Julie did so many things for us that day that I honestly do not know how we would’ve pulled off the wedding if it wasn’t for her! The experience with Julie was beyond personable. At the end of the night we went upstairs to our hotel room and Julie made sure to have two slices of our cake waiting for us with a beautiful hand-written note for us. It is the thoughtfulness and personal touches that make Julie an incredible event coordinator to work with. Wedding day experience:I have to say that my wedding day experience at the ARCC was impeccable, perfect, and a day I will remember forever. All of our guests continuously tell us that we had the best wedding and remark on the ARCC for the venue, food, service, and overall experience and service. The ARCC has a few items that you can ‘borrow’ for the day such as a card box, fun signage etc. The Trellis was stunning with the water fountain in the background and sunset views overlooking the golf course. We were also given access to the wine room which made for beautiful photos as well. Morning after:The ease and convenience of items that were cleaned up or left behind in the reception room are neatly placed into a secured storage area for pickup. Misc:This venue is truly everything you could need for your entire wedding. Everyone at the Atkinson is so easy to work with and is attentive to anything that is needed or requested. I truly feel that the Atkinson Resort and Country Club holds a special place in our hearts and we have become lifetime patrons. You will NOT be disappointed in the least by choosing them to have your wedding.

There are so many small details and moving parts in the wedding planning process that having an organized and efficient venue can really make or break the wedding planning process. Fortunately, Atkinson Resort & Country Club’s Wedding Sales Manager, Jennifer, is a true professional. Not only is she professional and extremely prompt at responding to (if you’re like me a million questions) you but she has a passion for weddings and that makes it even more exciting to plan. Working and planning with Jennifer is so easy and if you’ve ever planned a wedding before, you know that is essential! We had overestimated the number of guests and she was extremely helpful in assisting us with how to meet our minimum in the most efficient way. I also cannot rave enough about our day of coordinator, Tia. We were a large bridal party with a few young children, so needless to say we probably weren’t the easiest. Tia worked closely with our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly that day and handled the chaos of our big bridal party outstandingly! When I realized the sweetheart table was on a riser (I had requested it to be on the ground) Tia took care of it right away, no questions asked. Tia is a true professional who has a passion for weddings as well, which is extremely important since your day of coordinator is with you on one of the most important days of your life. I am truly grateful for both Jennifer and Tia’s help during my wedding planning and wedding day and really cannot recommend them enough! The grounds at Atkinson Resort & Country Club is breathtaking and speaks for itself. I will say there were definitely more rules here than other venues we met with; however, they were not deal breakers for me. Overall, I highly recommend Atkinson Resort & Country Club!! I would choose it for a wedding again in a heartbeat!

The wedding coordinators Jennifer and Tina planned out every single detail and made everything come together so smoothly, everything was planned out and organized, which as bride, gave me total peace of mind. From the ceremony, to the seating chart, to the pre-ordered Drink list for the bridal party during cocktail hour, they had everything under control! We had the bistro sirloin with stuffed shrimp and a caprese chicken option, and I STILL receive compliments about how great the food was! The scenery was phenomenal, the golf course and gazebo offer stunning sunset views. Absolutely wonderful people, beautiful venue and amazing day! Would recommend to any Bride looking for a stress free, picture- perfect day !!!

Jennifer Chipman was so helpful, informative, and accommodating every step of the way. The food was absolutely fabulous, including the food for those with dietary restrictions (including myself). Tia was super sweet during the drop off appointment and even Facetimed me while my fiance was there with her (I was in Florida for a last minute business trip the week I was getting married!). She was just as amazing on our wedding day. Our guests were thrilled with the service and gorgeous setting. Having been going to the country club for dinner and various functions since they have opened, both myself and Ben felt comfortable having our wedding reception here. We both knew ACC was our top choice, but we also knew that planning a wedding would be much different than just getting dinner at ACC. Jennifer made the process so easy and made us so comfortable throughout the whole process. In fact the only time I was stressed was the week of the wedding and that was just my own nerves of being in the spotlight! Jennifer was so accommodating with all our requests and didn’t bat an eye when we had several last minute guest list/guest meal changes. ACC was affordable and there are so many packages to choose from.Tia was our day of coordinator and she was so great! Made everything go so smoothly and made sure Ben and I were having a great time throughout the night!

I cannot sing my praises of Atkinson enough! We had planned for our wedding to be at the gazebo, but a sunny August day brought us thunderstorms and we had to go with Plan B inside. Since we had the \"legacy\" ballroom (food and beverage minimum met to open up the room to the Farview and the Brookside ballrooms) our coordinator rearranged the seats to face the beautiful draping and lights that separate the two rooms. Julie was so responsive to every detail and vendor that was coming and going on the wedding day that I didn't have to worry at all!! Our friends and family said the food was the best they have had at a wedding. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the Grille, and the food was amazing! It was SO convenient to stay in the hotel rooms upstairs! We checked in Thursday afternoon, golfed our complimentary round on the par 3 course, stayed for our rehearsal dinner, woke up on Friday morning and walked down to the bridal suite to get ready! The staff, the venue, the grounds, the food... everything was perfect. Best day ever!

Jennifer was great during the sales process, extremely responsive to a TON of emails from us, very transparent and provided great explanations for everything. For our Day of Coordinator we had Tia...and she was AMAZING! The absolute best part of working with Atkinson. She could not have done a better job. She was somehow direct and efficient but EXTREMELY nice at the same time...I don't know how she does that. But we had some weather worries that changed logistics for quite a few day-of items and Tia handled it flawlessly and everything went off without a hitch. She was amazing and we couldn't be happier with her work on the day-of.Atkinson crushes weddings...they do an amazing job...you won't regret going with their team.

Had my wedding at Atkinson Resort & Country Club back in Jan. 2018 and the team there is amazing. From the first day that we toured the venue, Jennifer has been so patient with all of our questions. She is very detailed and wants the best for you on your wedding day. As we got closer to my wedding day, there was an issue that did not involve the venue whatsoever but she was there for me by listening to my rant even though it had nothing to do with her and the venue. This is what I call customer service! Thank you Jennifer for everything, you are the best! Everyone raved about the food, especially the ice cream truffles. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to eat the dessert as I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with our wedding day.Overall, I recommend Atkinson Resort & Country Club to everyone. She was so friendly and understanding! We had a lot of reception supplies, from home-made centerpieces, a home-made photo booth, to a memorial table and everything was set up beautifully. Julie gave me space when I needed to get some tears out and words of encouragement to calm our nerves before we took the floor for our first dance. We truly cannot thank Julie enough for how smoothly everything went! We are extremely grateful to all the Atkinson staff, especially Jennifer and Julie, for helping make our wedding day a dream come true!

We have had the most amazing experience at Atkinson! It was the first and ONLY place we looked at! We first toured with Jennifer and she explained every aspect of the wedding. She answered any and all questions we came with and was super personable and sweet. We loved the venue right away, bith the indoor and the outdoors spaces are gorgeous! We decided to book it at the end of the tour. Jennifer was in contact with us before every major deadline, everything wad explained super clearly and planning was made easy. I probably emailed Jennifer 1,000 times! They are unbelievably organized and all the paperwork was clearly labeled and very helpful. Throughout the year between booking and our wedding, we came to Atkinson several times to check if our centerpieces would look good and show loved ones the venue we fell in love with. Each time, whether We met with Jennifer or not, the staff was very accommodating and kind. We had our drop appointment the week of the wedding and it was a relief to be able to drop off everything (all decorations, guest book, place cards, etc.) and to only worry about ourselves the day of the wedding. Our day-of coordinator was Kristen and she was AMAZING! She somehow gathered our crazy large family and everything ran perfectly smoothly. She even held my drink while we took post-ceremony pictures! Overall Atkinson Resort and Country Club is amazing- it is the most beautiful venue for any wedding and their staff made everything easy!!!

My husband and I got married here in June 2017. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food is great! I had a great experience working with Jennifer. The planning process was very well thought-out. There were checklists and forms to fill out at certain times, which made the process well-paced yet thorough. Jennifer was always available and very prompt with responding to any questions we had. Our day-of coordinator was Kristine, and she was wonderful too! Always making sure our silly questions were answered and she paced the whole day out wonderfully, and coordinated fully with our other vendors. We didn't have to do a thing except enjoy our day! I would hands-down recommend Atkinson Country Club to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous one-stop shop: on-site ceremony, catering, and reception!

The day of coordinator was also amazing and made the day as stress free as possible! The only thing I could complain about was that the food was not as good as it was when we attended the tasting. It was less flavorful and a little dry.

If you are looking for more than just a space to have a wedding and want to feel a connection with the staff you work with, Atkinson is your place! Atkinson took my breath away the first time I visited and the staff didn't do anything less when I met them! Jennifer is so friendly, but what really stood out for my dad and I was how open and honest she was. She doesn't lie to try and get you to book at her venue. She tells it like it is and makes sure that your needs are met and that you are comfortable and happy with what you are getting. She allowed some special food requests for my guests and made me feel very welcomed to ask her questions whenever I wanted. She even replied one night late at night just to reassure me with what was going on! I quickly felt like she was more of a friend than just a staff member I was working with. When it came around to my wedding weekend, the staff for my rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding were all amazing! They made sure everyone was set to go and happy and really took the time to get to know me and the wedding party. Kristen kept everything in order and made sure the timeline of events stuck to schedule, which was a big help and stress relief knowing someone else was keeping track of where everyone was haha. Not only is the place amazing with their landscape and yummy good, the wedding coordinators you get to work with along the way are so helpful and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better planning experience. I know so many people who have shared horror stories with their wedding coordinators but Jen and Julie were the absolute best to work with and my father can attest to that as well. The whole experience was so smooth all because of them. I don't know where to start, this place is amazing!! From start to finish. We took a tour and instantly knew this was the place, the grounds are GORGEOUS! We got married at the gazebo, the landscape is stunning with the greenery and flowers there's no need to add its simply beautiful on it's own! Until the week leading up to the wedding we worked with Jennifer, she's absolutely amazing!! Organized, passionate about what she does and very responsive to emails, she would respond within minutes, this really reassured me we picked the right place from the start. The the week of the wedding you get your day of coordinator, we had Kristen and oh my we LOVED her, what an absolute delight!!! She too is passionate about what she does and is GOOD at it! If something went wrong ( I must have messed up some table arrangements when making cards) Kristen took care of it and I didn't even know until a week later when a friend told me so I wouldn't stress. She made the day PERFECT, stress free and smooth sailing. (Kristen too is great at getting back emails, communication is KEY in planning). Both Jennifer and Kristen are just so sweet and accommodating, thank you so much!Our reception was in the Brookside room, it's a great size with some great views! We even had a deck where our guests could go outside during the reception. I could go on and on about how great the Atkinson Country Club is. They made our wedding day everything we wanted and more! Thank you so much!

My husband and I got married and had our reception at Atkinson this past July and it was an absolutely perfect day. The wedding coordinators were exemplary- attentive and extremely professional. The entire day ran so smoothly and we owed it all to them. Thank you Jennifer and Kristen for helping make our day so special! Our reception was in the legacy ballroom- there was plenty of space for stations, tables and dancing. We received countless compliments from our wedding guests on the food and venue, specifically how delicious the station meals were (many saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had!). We have also been told by many guests that it was one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremonies they had been to- the grounds at Atkinson are so well kept and make for beautiful pictures. I highly recommend using them for both your wedding ceremony and reception!

I was married at Atkinson CC on 9/15/17 and it was the most amazing day of our lives. Jennifer and Julie were nothing short of spectacular. From the 1st time we went to Atkinson we were immediately sold on its exterior beauty then our meeting with Jennifer sealed the deal. She was so kind and sweet, organized, and has so much passion about wedding planning. We knew we could trust her. This was the 1st and only venue we looked at and we have no regrets!During planning all the way to the end of our wedding, every one from Jennifer and Julie, to the front desk staff, the pro shop, the tavern, and even all of the staff setting up and working our wedding - each and every one of them made us feel welcome, excited and stress free. Even a down pour right before our first look couldn't ruin our day! Jennifer rushed to get us umbrellas, Julie and her team set up a beautiful twinkle-lit back drop for our last minute indoor ceremony. Then they all worked together with our vendors to rearrange our game plan so we could get beautiful photos outdoors when the rain cleared after our ceremony. All of the brides who I know told me about little things that were stressful on their wedding day. I can actually say that my wedding day was the most calm and least stressful day of my life. I didn't worry once. And I attribute that to the excitement to marry my best friend, awesome friends and family, a great venue and amazing vendors. We truly hit the jackpot.We stepped in to the photo booth and the end of the evening to get some photos and my husband looked at me and said \"this truly has been the best day of my life\" - he took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you so much to Atkinson CC, from the bottom of our hearts, you were a HUGE part of making 9/15/17 the best day of our lives! We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I posted the same on their FB page, but I figured I'd post here and wedding wire because that's where most brides look:Jennifer was PHENOMINAL with helping us plan our wedding! We got a great deal and she gave us her best recommendations for options. Very open and honest; certainly not out just for money--she wanted to make sure we were happy and put our money in the right places. Julie (our wedding day coordinator) was great also. She was great explaining everyone's role during the rehearsal and the day of. She directed the photographer to AMAZING photo opportunities; she and the staff made sure my husband and I had everything we needed for our whole event. The only negative I have to say is when we paid for a light breakfast for the girls in the bridal suite while we got ready, and I was expecting more than 8 pastries (on the smaller side) and more than 1 tray of assorted fruit for 8 girls. But gave us plenty of OJ, coffee, and tea. We had our rehearsal dinner the night prior in the Wine Room, Carroll (our waitress) was wonderful! My husband and I have eaten there. A handful of times and I have yet to have a bad meal or bad service from any part of Atkinson. We had the stations buffet for our wedding and everything was DELICIOUS, definitely recommend the stations buffet..gave our guests a variety of foods to choose from. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to book their wedding or other events, or even just for breakfast,lunch, or dinner!

The space was beautiful and large enough with plenty of extra space...we got married on New Years Eve and at midnight we had fireworks and they were amazing! I got married here in June of 2017. I spoke with Jennifer Chipman leading up to the wedding day and met my coordinator the week before the wedding. Jennifer was very accessible via email and answered all my questions. We chose the stationed package-the food was amazing and everyone was raving about how good the food was. It was a bit concerning how many little mistakes were made prior to the wedding day. For example, she got my husband's name wrong multiple times sending me the initial contract, typed the wrong hor'deurves on our menu order, sent us another wedding's final bill and then miscalculated our final bill leaving out 3k after I had already paid. Everything on our wedding day ran smoothly, but I was nervous something would go wrong with all the small mistakes. Julie was our day of coordinator and she helped keep the night running smoothly. Be sure to be clear about what you really want as she tried to change up how the bridal party walked out based on how she's seen other weddings do it. We went with the vendor package and all the vendors were great! We had Susanne's weddings for flowers and she did a fantastic job! Her communication via email is unclear and vague so be sure to bring all your questions when you meet with her in person. Jacques Pastries created our cake-no complaints there! We used Main Event for our DJ and had Kelly Elliot as our DJ. I would not recommend her as she did not seem to know a ton of popular music choices and pressed her own agenda on us. We felt as though the music selection for dinner was not what we anticipated and she played older music.

Jennifer and Julie are amazing and talented wedding coordinators! They both are experienced and have excellent customer service skills. I was able to express all questions and concerns to Jennifer leading up to the big day and worked with Julie on the day of the wedding. Julie made me feel comfortable and helped make the day flawless. The grounds are impeccable with beautiful landscape that are very well maintained. I was so happy to marry my amazing husband at the Trellis and I know his mom was with us in spirit with the sun shining and no rain insight. :) We enjoyed our wedding because of the amazing wedding staff. I will recommend large wedding parties to stay just minutes away at the Holiday inn. I feel they are well suited for large parties. The Atkinson allows shuttles and transportation to and from for guests staying at hotels near by. This was very helpful! Thank you again to Jennifer and Julie!!

My husband and I got married on October 2nd, 2016. We had the BEST experience with ARCC! It was better than we could have imaged. I do not know what I would have done without our day of coordinator Julie. She was amazing! I had major \"bride brain\" and literally forgot all of my paper work for the planning meeting. She worked with me and made it seem like no big deal, even though it total was not cool of me.We had a forecast of possible rain for the day of the wedding, which thank GOD did not happen! Typically they move the ceremony into the reception hall when this happens. Julie arranged to have the hall set up downstairs as a back up ceremony location instead of having it in the reception hall. This was just going way above and beyond in my eyes! I want to sincerely thank ARCC and all their staff from the bottom of my heart! You all really made my wedding the best it could be and I did not have a care in the world that entire day! As it should be!

When I went to tour ACC I loved it! I brought my husband there to see it and he felt the way way! The grounds and reception rooms were absolutely beautiful! The grounds are maintained throughout the year (I went back several times to show family) and the reception rooms are very spacious! I loved the romeo and juliet balcony in the fairview stateroom! We had so many guests compliment our venue choice! We had our ceremony at the trellis area which was stunning! and we were able to take pictures at the garden area with the cascading waterfalls and beautiful flowers! This had certainly meant a lot to me! Jennifer was amazing to work with! She emailed me back within minutes which is huge for the stressful bride needing to know something right away! It was extremely helpful for wedding planning! Our wedding coordinator was Tina and she was amazing as well! She was so helpful and eased all my worries and fears! She coordinated with our other vendors and was awesome and easy to work with! Our reception area was absolutely beautiful and she went above and beyond to make sure everything I wanted was done correctly and taken care of! Thank you everyone at Atkinson Country Club for making our day perfect , special and one to remember!

Atkinson Country Club did a wonderful job hosting my wedding reception. The wedding coordinator, Jennifer was really great and easy to work with. I would email her with any questions I had (from cost to color scheme) and she would promptly email me back. They were extremely organized (emailing me dates when paperwork/payments were due). What I loved most about Atkinson was their attention to detail. For example, our day of coordinator made sure our parents place cards were put at the best seats to be able to see the bride and groom. Also, they took the bridal party's drink orders before the wedding day so that when we arrived our drinks were ready for us.The grounds are beautifully maintained and we have beautiful pictures.Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about the venue and the people.

Atkinson CC was the perfect venue for us. Jennifer was amazing to work with, especially because we live in Ohio. She was very responsive and always super nice. She made it super easy to plan a wedding from afar. In addition to that having your own personal wedding coordinator the day of was fantastic. Also, the food was amazing and that was with 3 other weddings going on the same day! We've had multiple guests compliment the food and tell us how rare it is for wedding food to be tasty. Everything was very organized and went off without a hitch the day of. Couldn't ask for a better venue to work with and with such an amazing view!

My husband and I viewed many venues before picking Atkinson C.C. for our wedding. We made a list of things we disliked and liked about every venue before choosing Atkinson CC as our favorite spot. We had both our ceremony and reception at Atkinson. We fell in love with the gorgeous building with beautiful views. Having the guest rooms in the same building as the reception and having the bridal suite all day (for a Friday wedding) makes things really convenient. Our guests are still raving about the food (go for the 6ft sub!!). Jennifer was amazing from day 1 and Julie- our wedding coordinator was a huge help making our wedding day as smooth as possible! We would HIGHLY recommend Atkinson CC as your wedding venue and if we could do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing!

Tom and I knew we were going to get married at Atkinson Country Club. It was a special place for us from the beginning. Early in our relationship we started going there for drinks and dinner. It was an easy spot to meet after a long work day. As our relationship progressed we continued spending time there. The night we got engaged we went to dinner there before coming home (where he proposed.) I knew it was coming and during dinner I said \"this would be a great place to get married, look at how pretty it is.\" He laughed it off and we went home.Anyway - that night we got engaged and decided that ACC was the only venue we were going to look at. We scheduled a meeting for the next week and put our deposit down the next day. From the first meeting with Jennifer we just felt comfortable. She was there to answer every question I had throughout the planning process. I remember messaging her about something I read on one of the forums and she said that we needed to plan our wedding and not listen to all of the \"rules\" that are floating around out there. She was SO right.We planned our wedding over the course of the year. In that year we went to a wedding at ACC, had my shower there and then our wedding. Our day of coordinator was great! She helped us out so much the week of the wedding. The rehearsal wasn't the easiest to coordinate because we had a lot of moving pieces (a football schedule to deal with, people coming from Boston the day of the rehearsal, 3 very excited kids who were in the wedding etc.) and she made it work for us.The only hiccup we had the day of the wedding was with the delivery of food for the bridal party. We got married on a Sunday so we had the bridal suite available the whole day. I ordered a light breakfast and lunch for the girls. We ordered ahead of time and asked for lunch to be delivered at a specific time because we were trying to get everyone ready, dressed and pictures out of the way before our 4:00 pm ceremony. Lunch was delivered over 90 minutes late. We checked with the front desk and they didn't really seem to know what was going on so we didn't get a direct answer. If that was the only hiccup though, I think we did well over all!Other than that - some of the feedback we got from our guests was how beautiful the venue was. And inconsistent reviews on the food. Tom and I had a great meal, but our parents opinions were not the same as ours.I would recommend Atkinson Country Club to any bride who is looking for a wedding location.

If you want a gorgeous spot for your wedding without breaking the bank, and someone to guide you through the planning process, look no further! Atkinson exceeded my expectations - and I had high expectations! From my very first meeting with Jennifer I knew this place was for me. She's so attentive to detail, organized, and quick to respond - she made the two year planning experience so easy! And these people have thought of everything- no question or need I had went without an answer or solution. My guests didn't even have to share a bathroom with another wedding LOL! My bridal salon was incredible. Not to mention I just moseyed on upstairs at the end of the night and didn't have to worry about transportation for me and my bridal party. AND THE FOOD!! I definitely prioritized food for our wedding and I was not disappointed. Seriously, someone please invite me to their wedding here just so I can eat their food again! The ceremony location was perfection - quiet, private, and pristine- great for photos. I've been to plenty weddings where the ceremony was surrounded by noise, cars, and distractions. This place made me feel like we were the only people on the property. Tons of photo opportunities - your photographers will love it here! I could go on, but I won't - just check it out (no I didn't get paid to write this)!
