My husband and I got married at the Atlantic Resort on 10/1/2022 and could not speak more highly of the venue and the staff. From the first day we saw the venue, Chelsea was right by our side. She showed us the beautiful space and then guided us through the entire process from that day on. Her expertise was invaluable and helped make our wedding planning seamless and enjoyable. Chelsea and her whole staff was open to any and all ideas we had and truly made our dream vision come to life. Then the wedding day came and I can honestly say everything went off without a hitch. Chelsea and her staff were attentive, made sure the event flowed the best way, and made our day exactly how we wanted it to be. Stacey, the banquet manager, was with us throughout the entire night and made sure we were happy, fed, and having the best time. I could not recommend the Atlantic Resort at the Wyndham Hotel Newport more!

Having our wedding at the Atlantic Resort at the Wyndham was a dream. Working with Elaine as our coordinator made the day go off without a hitch! Everything was absolutely perfect and she was so organized and experienced. I can’t imagine planning the wedding without her help! The hotel itself was beautiful and multiple guests mentioned to us how nice the rooms were. The ballroom (Easton Pavillion upstairs) was absolutely gorgeous and the space was laid out perfectly for our event. It really was so seamless and beautiful. The arbor outside on the property was beautiful and the sunset overlooking the water was so dreamy and antic! I highly recommend getting married at this venue

It's been a week since my wedding at the Wyndham, and I am still on Cloud 9! I fell in love with this venue as soon as I saw that gorgeous star chandelier in the upstairs ballroom. It was something I had never seen before, and something I knew my guests had never seen either. It is truly a show-stopper. I wanted a glamorous/glitzy wedding vibe (very anti-rustic!) and this venue was exactly what I was looking for. Since our wedding was November 3rd, we were able to get \"winter wedding\" prices, which was honestly the only way we were able to swing it for a wedding of 165 guests. But it was worth every penny! The food was fantastic. My guests could not stop raving about all of it. From cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert. Everything was amazing. The staff was incredible. But I must give the biggest shoutout to Elaine, my wedding coordinator. She was amazing to work with. She really knows her stuff and helped the planning process go super smooth. And day of...she kept everything on track. I cannot thank her enough for helping coordinate my dream wedding. Picking the venue was super stressful, but I am so glad I went with my gut and picked the Wyndham. It was everything and more!

The BEST venue ever!!! It’s a one stop shop! We got married outside, had our cocktail hour under the tent and had the wedding in the gorgeous ballroom upstairs!!! Guests got to sleep over and didn’t have to drive! Chelsea is the BEST. Never ever made me feel stressed especially without a wedding planner. And the entire experience is amazing!!!! Highly recommend!!!

The BEST venue ever!!! It’s a one stop shop! We got married outside, had our cocktail hour under the tent and had the wedding in the gorgeous ballroom upstairs!!! Just had our daughters wedding here on 9/23/23. I absolutely had to write this review to make sure everybody knows how pleased we were. Chelsea Jenkins was the person who walked me through the whole process from beginning to end. She is professional, cordial and brings just the right amount of calmness to all things wedding related! The venue itself was fabulous. The rooms were spacious, clean and contemporary. The Atlantic Pavilion, where the ceremony/reception was held was stunning. And, I honestly can’t believe how many people have told me how delicious the food was from appetizers to entrees to late night snacks. If I had to pick out one negative it would be that no coffee/tea was served at dessert. I assumed it was a given but after looking at the paperwork, it clearly shows no coffee/tea. I would only ask that they make that clear for any future potential wedding clients. Just wonderful! I want to do it all over again!

This venue is everything - from location to service hands down the best in the business. Elaine is EVERYTHING. She works with you to create a memorable experience. She is so passionate about what she does you’d be hard pressed to find someone better. She goes the extra mile to make everything perfect and all the while makes you feel so special. She always makes time for you to ask questions and share ideas. Again, just the best. The venue staff are super friendly and take any stress you might have away. We got married outside on site and held our reception on the second floor and LOVED the design and amenities. The food is 11/10 - people were blown away by how good everything is. Cannot say enough that this is the venue to go with if you’re looking for a beautiful coastal wedding experience.

I had the pleasure of having my wedding at the Wyndham Newport hotel last week and it was absolutely perfect. Having the beautiful ceremony area, the elegant Easton pavilion ball room for the reception and never mind the clean and updated hotel rooms for the guests was everything I could have imagined for my wedding. I had the “suite” at a discounted rate which was perfect for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready as the room was huge! And made for perfect pictures. The food was amazing from the starters to the delicious desserts. Chelsea was my day of coordinator and she was such a help. Planning a wedding is STRESSFUL and she was always there to answer all of my questions and put everything together for me day of just how I imagined it. This venue had everything possible to make for a perfect wedding day!

Awesome choice. We hosted a traditional two day Indian wedding at the Atlantic Resort at Wyndham Newport, and it was an incredible weekend because of the hard work, positive attitude, and flexibility of the staff at this hotel. We spent a lot of time working with Elaine to talk about our vision and when an unexpected thunderstorm came during our first outdoor event, the staff really stepped up to make sure our event could continue. We're so grateful. Additionally the venue was so welcoming to our cultural ceremonies and the venue itself is beautiful — we utilized the tent outside, the ceremony space outdoors overlooking the water, and the beautiful ballrooms. We're so happy we chose this venue, not only because it is beautiful, but also because of the staff (especially Elaine!) who worked so hard to make the weekend special for us.

I got married and stayed at the Wyndham in July . This was the third place we looked it and I still had a long list of places I wanted to see in Newport .. but the Wyndham stole my heart . Not only is the hotel immaculate, but it’s a one stop shop for your wedding day . The grounds are beautiful , there is an AMAZING outdoor patio bar area , with fire pits , corn hole , couches , dining, entertainment- the vibe was exactly what I wanted for my family and friends who stayed the weekend with us. Every single staff I had contact with was so friendly and professional from the front desk, the bar tenders , to the function manager , Sue Souza who made sure we were very well taken care off all weekend! Leticia was the woman who helped coordinate wedding room blocks- also fantastic! The wedding coordinator Chelsea was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning to the very end . She was professional, friendly and prompt . I never had to wait for answers when any questions would arise prior to my wedding and she too , made sure we were well taken care of . She went above and beyond my expectations! Honestly the whole hotel did . The food was also amazing!!!! Our guests could not get over how delicious every single meal was , from lunch at the bar to our wedding menu .. people were blown away . I’m still on cloud 9 from the most beautiful best weekend ever !

We had our wedding block booked at this hotel. Virginia helped me with booking our wedding block and guided me from start to finish. Virginia is very kind, generous, helpful and professional. She was always there way I needed her to make adjustments to my reservations. She made sure that everything ran smoothly for my guests that were part of our wedding block. I can’t thank her enough for all of her support! She even held my cookies in her office until it was time to check in. The hotel is really beautiful and clean! The staff is very kind and accommodating! They helped hand out our goodie bags to our guests arriving. We really enjoyed hanging out by the outdoor bar and seating area whenever possible. Everyone was impressed with the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a lot of storage space. I really loved the view we had as well. We also had our post wedding brunch here. Elaine helped me plan it. She was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious! I have to say, it was a very nice experience staying at the Wyndham and we will be back!

I can’t say enough great things about The Atlantic Resort! We were supposed to get married July 2020, but had to postpone till August 2021. The Atlantic Resort was so accommodating with the date change and really worked with us to help move our wedding to a different date. We had our ceremony outside and the pictures came out beautiful. Our reception was in the upstairs ballroom and we fell in love with the twinkle lights. The food was amazing and all of our guests have raved about the food since then. Your guests will not leave hungry! We worked with Elaine for our day of coordinator and she treated us like we were family. Elaine answered all our texts, calls and emails and really helped work with our budget. I can’t recommend this venue enough and they helped give us the wedding we have always wanted.

Back in 2018 we were in Newport celebrating my birthday and we were having so much fun, we decided to stay one more night. We had a credit for a free night at a Wyndham, so we checked out the Wyndham Newport Hotel. We were amazed at how great and clean the rooms were, how friendly the staff were and how good the food was at Johnny's. We weren't engaged yet but we figured we would be soon and we saw they had a wedding venue. We checked it out and kept it in mind. When we finally got engaged in October of 2020, this was the first and last place we checked out. We met with Elaine who immediately felt like family. She agreed to hold a date for us for a few weeks, but we went to lunch at Johnny's and thought, Why wait? We met back up with Elaine just one hour later and committed to this venue. From there everything was easy. Planning a wedding can be stressful but this venue takes care of everything for you. Elaine was there every step of the way especially when the wedding was getting close, it seemed like we talked with her everyday. She helped us in so many ways and was so accommodating including helping our signature drink, a holiday themed Pomegranate margarita, come to light. All the little things she did for us made our dream wedding become a reality. The food at this venue is nothing short of 5 stars in our book. We had everyone coming up to us saying how impressed they were with the venue and how delicious the food was. To top it off they even served chocolate covered strawberries with everyone's wedding cake and the late night pizza was such a hit, people were thrilled. They even let the party continue afterward at Johnny's bar where the staff is also super friendly. This is such an ideal location for a wedding. We also did our rehearsal dinner here and the food was so delicious, everyone is still talking about it wanting to go back for more. This is an all in one venue that is so convenient, you don't even have to leave. I would recommend this venue to anyone who's looking to get married in the area.

Back in 2018 we were in Newport celebrating my birthday and we were having so much fun, we decided to stay one more night. We had a credit for a free night at a Wyndham, so we checked out the Wyndham Newport Hotel. We were amazed at how great and clean the rooms were, how friendly the staff were and how good the food was at Johnny's. We weren't engaged yet but we figured we would be soon and we saw they had a wedding venue. We checked it out and kept it in mind. When we finally got engaged in October of 2020, this was the first and last place we checked out. We met with Elaine who immediately felt like family. She agreed to hold a date for us for a few weeks, but we went to lunch at Johnny's and thought, Why wait? We met back up with Elaine just one hour later and committed to this venue. From there everything was easy. Planning a wedding can be stressful but this venue takes care of everything for you. We had our wedding \"Sequel\" celebration on 11/21/2021 approximately a year after our initial wedding date and having a micro-wedding in my parents backyard in 2020. Not only did Chelsea and her team seamlessly shift all of our deposits and contracts to our new date, but she continued to stay in touch with us throughout the year to make sure we were informed of any new updates. As we approached the Sequel, Chelsea worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly and did not blink an eye when we have many special meal requests or showed up for our staging with two cars full of decor items and 125 of our own gold chargers. We also decided at the last minute to add on a brunch the following morning and because it was Chelsea running the show, it was \"no problem.\" She has a calm and gentle demeanor that is perfectly suited for this industry and always made us a feel special. We could not recommend this venue more!! It has everything you need in one space which makes it super convenient for your guests. The hotel is stunning and attached! Chelsea and her team are top notch! The venue itself is beautiful and has many opportunities and spots for photos, inside and out! The food is divine!! We had a complete blast at our Sequel and it was because we knew everything was being taken care of (and it was!). 12/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We got married on the second floor, the Easton Pavilion, and everything was absolutely perfect! Chelsea was our wedding planner and from the moment we met with her she was flexible, understanding and professional. Our wedding would not have been as perfect without her! She took care of every detail from setting up our photos around the room, to boxing up our dinner because we were to busy dancing to eat! Honestly the only regret we have is that we didn't have our wedding there sooner! Can't recommend this place and Chelsea enough! Best wedding ever, without question! We got married in the Easton Pavilion and it was absolutely beautiful!! The lights are my favorite and it truly feels like your fairy tale wedding! The staff is so accommodating and make the days leading up to and the day of your wedding stress free! Kirby was such a great coordinator and answered any question I had even if she was off thank you Kirby!! She also is a woman of all trades and did it all on our wedding day! Such an exceptional venue! We got so lucky with choosing Atlantic Resort at Wyndham Newport! We were a COVID wedding (original date 4/4/2020) and thank goodness this was our venue. We heard nightmares from other COVID couples about their venues not being so flexible with something so out of their control. That was not the case with Atlantic Resort. With the unknown of COVID and restrictions we moved our date 4 times! Every single time Elaine (our day-of coordinator with Atlantic Resort) made it an easy process. She was quick to respond to all my questions every step of the way! We signed the contract 7/2018 and finally had our wedding turned wedding celebration 8/27/21 (so 3 years I had the pleasure of working with Elaine). She lifted so much weight off my shoulders with being so easy and flexible to work with. Anything we needed she made it happen. Her support staff and lead support (Nicole) made sure things stayed on time and in line (i.e. our rowdy bridal party) so we could get to the dancing ASAP! I had no sense of time once we got down to the ceremony, but she was always there to let us know what was happening next so we could properly prepare. We cannot recommend Elaine and Atlantic Resort enough!!! It is a beautiful venue both upstairs and downstairs. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside and had that beautiful backdrop. They properly staffed the bar which was very important to my husband who was a bartender for 10 years. We never saw anyone having to wait for a drink. It's definitely not for the lack of guests going up because they definitely made their trips with how they were feeling at the end of the night! Number one compliment we have gotten from our guests is how amazing the food was! Cocktail hour and dinner were phenomenal! Filet mignon was definitely the fan favorite! Guests said it was just melting in their mouths and one of the best they ever had. I honestly don't know what else I could say to have you choose here. I am just so glad I did.

Long post, but a worthy read!New England couples- look no further, THIS is THE venue to book!! The Atlantic Resort at Wyndham Newport has it all- from all inclusive event packages to on-site lodging, to having the best event coordinators and support staff! I had always envisioned my wedding a certain way (all planned by the age of 13 thanks to Pinterest); but never knew where I wanted to get married. Living on Cape Cod we expanded our search to the Newport area and this venue blew all the others out of the water. Affordable, inclusive, elegant, and just all around perfect. Our guests raved about the food (there was SO much in package three- do yourselves a favor and get that package!!!) as well as the on-site lodging which offered a spacious bridal suite and large, clean, modern hotel rooms. Our #1 item for venue shopping was to have everything at one location, and this exceeded all of our standards. Elaine Holder, the events/catering manager is a true, real life wedding fairy Godmother who executes the event seamlessly to perfection (seriously, ask her about her donut vendor story). She is the most personable, kind, entertaining person, and exactly who we wanted to be by our sides on our big day. From the moment we met her upon touring the venue we were in awe of her knowledge and expertise in her craft. She was always immediately available with any questions, comments, or concerns, which is exactly what a bride needs. She ensured a seamless transition from ceremony to reception all while engaging with our guests and ensuring happiness/approval from the married couple throughout the night. (She even makes sure you get the chance to sit down and enjoy the fabulous dinner they make!) Virginia Pesiridis is the Group Sales Manager who also was always immediately available and was gracious enough to cater to our guest's needs, even down to last minute bookings. We had our rehearsal dinner on location in the Sunset Room which was perfect for our 27 guests the night before the wedding, family style dinner with an open bar of beer/wine. After our rehearsal dinner, we welcomed all guests to the outdoor patio which had a fire pit, full bar, and food service to which we were able to engage and socialize with guests prior to the big day (highly recommend- this was so fun and relaxing!)Location is key: We had about 111 guests at our wedding to which most stayed on-site, others had the opportunity to book with the nearby hotels/Air BnB's all within a 10 minute radius which truly catered to each of our guest's needs. Also the ability to have multiple Uber/Lyft's in the area after a night of partying ensured the safety of our guests. The only \"complaint\" I had was that we couldn't stop time- we truly had the best day/weekend ever mainly because of this venue and their staff. We cannot wait to visit again next year to revel in the memories and bliss of marriage on our one year anniversary! From the moment we met her upon touring the venue we were in awe of her knowledge and expertise in her craft. She was always immediately available with any questions, comments, or concerns, which is exactly what a bride needs. She ensured a seamless transition from ceremony to reception all while engaging with our guests and ensuring happiness/approval from the married couple throughout the night. (She even makes sure you get the chance to sit down and enjoy the fabulous dinner they make!) Virginia Pesiridis is the Group Sales Manager who also was always immediately available and was gracious enough to cater to our guest's needs, even down to last minute bookings. We had our rehearsal dinner on location in the Sunset Room which was perfect for our 27 guests the night before the wedding, family style dinner with an open bar of beer/wine. After our rehearsal dinner, we welcomed all guests to the outdoor patio which had a fire pit, full bar, and food service to which we were able to engage and socialize with guests prior to the big day (highly recommend- this was so fun and relaxing!)Location is key: We had about 111 guests at our wedding to which most stayed on-site, others had the opportunity to book with the nearby hotels/Air BnB's all within a 10 minute radius which truly catered to each of our guest's needs. Also the ability to have multiple Uber/Lyft's in the area after a night of partying ensured the safety of our guests. The only \"complaint\" I had was that we couldn't stop time- we truly had the best day/weekend ever mainly because of this venue and their staff. We cannot wait to visit again next year to revel in the memories and bliss of marriage on our one year anniversary! We had our ceremony on the lawn, our cocktail hour under the tent, and our reception in the upstairs ballroom. It was all absolutely gorgeous. Our guests raved about the food and overall ambience of the venue. We also held a brunch in the upstairs ballroom the day after our wedding, which was delicious and a lovely way to end the weekend. I cannot rave enough about the Atlantic Resort. We finally had our big celebration this Saturday and it could not have gone better! We knew this venue was the right spot for us immediately as we were walking around the grounds and the ballroom. Elaine was our main contact and she was AMAZING throughout the entire process. We loved how she was able to help us customize the day and make it unique to our style. She also gave us recommendations for many of our vendors, which were all wonderful. We were a couple that had our plans affected by COVID and the communication throughout the rescheduling process was fantastic.We were incredibly impressed with every single part of our day. Every part of the day was perfectly timed, giving plenty of time to enjoy each part of the day. We actually had it rain on the day of our celebration, so we had to move the renewal ceremony, photos and cocktail hour inside. Despite this last minute change, the staff made sure everything was beautiful. Even though this was not our first choice, everything still exceeded our expectations! They transformed the ballroom to make it beautiful for our ceremony. All of the staff were kind and attentive. Elaine was also wonderful on the day of our event. She was there the entire time, keeping everything organized and moving. She checked in with us throughout the day to ensure that everything was going the way we wanted and make sure we were happy. She also communicated with our other vendors throughout the day making sure everyone was on the same page. The food was also absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot and was so good. All of our guests were so complementary of the staff, venue and food. Everything went so perfectly and I cannot thank the Atlantic Resort enough. We had our wedding at the Atlantic Resort Newport on November 7, 2020. We fell in love with the venue 2 years prior when we went to check it out. It was the first and last venue we looked for several reasons. It is absolutely beautiful and checked off all the boxes for what we were looking for. We were so excited to be married there from the moment we saw it with Elaine. Then, COVID happened and made wedding planning just that much more stressful. Elaine supported us through all the stress and tears as if we were her family. We can not say enough about Elaine. She is more than a wedding coordinator. She goes above and beyond in every which way you could possibly imagine to ensure you will have the best wedding day possible. I had forgotten to bring the baggies I had made for my favors and Elaine didn't even think twice about sending a staff member out to buy some for me. We requested outdoor lighting last minute since the weather turned out to be great, and Elaine made it happen for us. This was so perfect because we had brought lawn games (cornhole, giant connect four, giant jenga, etc.) since we couldn't dance (due to COVID) and it was great that our guests could play out on the lawn of the venue. One of my bridesmaid's zipper broke on her dress and before anyone else could do anything, Elaine was sewing her up so that I would never know. I didn't find out about this until the day after my wedding! That is how AMAZING Elaine is! She will go out of her way to make you feel more comfortable and less stressed. My husband and I truly love and appreciate her so very much. In addition to the beauty of the venue and Elaine's perfection, all of the food served there is absolutely delicious. All of the staff were awesome and friendly and happy to serve us and our guests. One of the waiters, Christian, worked our rehearsal dinner and our wedding night. At the rehearsal dinner, he ensured me that everything was going to be wonderful at the wedding, and then he checked in with me at the wedding to make sure I was happy! Another exceptional staff member was Susan. At first, Susan had told us we could not do our original plan for favors (a candy buffet) due to COVID restrictions and I was so disappointed. However, she was able to make it happen! She had a piece of plexiglass made to put in front of the candy buffet table so it would be \"COVID friendly.\" This plexiglass was made to look so formal and beautiful to go along with the formal and elegant feel we had always wanted. We loved it! Susan also bought some extra games for us as entertainment for our games which we appreciated. Overall, my husband and I highly recommend this wedding venue. Our guests had an awesome time and are still talking about our wedding. We also can't stop talking about Elaine and how much we love her and what she did for us. Even our bridal party noticed how much she went out of her way for us and gave us so many positive comments. It was the absolute BEST DAY EVER!!!! WE LOVE YOU, ELAINE!!!! :)

I emailed her pretty often, being an anxious and slightly neurotic bride. She is SO responsive and so sweet. They were incredibly flexible with everything, and really made the entire day tailored to exactly what we envisioned- from the set up, to the menu, to our hotel rooms, everything you could think of. We also stayed on site, which I highly recommend. Chelsea met us when we got there the night before for our rehearsal dinner, and brought my husband and I drinks to our rooms. Throughout our wedding day, she was right there whenever we needed her and really acted as a day-of coordinator. She was so attentive to us during our reception, making sure that we had food and drinks flowing throughout the night. Talk about personal touches! The venue itself is beautiful of course. The food was great- no complaints from guests, and my husband said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. Truly could not recommend Atlantic Resort Newport more- especially if you are working with Chelsea!!

She was so accommodating and patient with us, answering every single question we had in a timely manner. She was there every step of the planning process, and on the day of took care of EVERYTHING. The food was outstanding--every single thing--and they even cook the filet to order! Our guests were extremely impressed with everything. We loved that we were able to get ready right there at the hotel in the very large bridal suites. My husband and his friends even played basketball at the Y next door which was a great wedding morning activity for them! Both ballrooms are stunning and we were so happy we were able to have our ceremony downstairs and reception upstairs. The venue was decorated beautifully for Christmas with a gorgeous tree display outside the downstairs ballroom. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the venue and welcome drinks/after party at Johnny's in the hotel (open to 1am). Everything was just perfect! I really don't even know where to begin with my review. I suppose the best way to describe my experience with Atlantic Resort (and Elaine!!!) is that we got married a little over 24 hours ago, and I just had to write this before we left for our honeymoon tomorrow. From the minute I was referred by a dear friend from college and we toured the venue, we just knew our December wedding had to be at Atlantic Resort. Elaine is someone who I consider myself lucky to have worked with, and each step along the way she was absolutely professional, accommodating, and a true pleasure to work with, and now know. The ceremony and reception space were spectacular and exceeded all expectations- we essentially handed them a bunch of boxes of decor and details, and they turned it into the most stunning space I've ever seen-the guests (and the bride and groom!!) were blown away. Elaine and team handled a few last minute changes and details flawlessly and made the entire experience the best day of our lives. Having been to many weddings, the timeline of the day was something other venues should take note of - the flow of the ceremony and reception were perfect. My husband and I got married here in September and were blown away at how perfect our wedding was! First and foremost, the wedding coordinator Elaine is an absolute gem and pleasure to work with. She is truly wonderful at what she does and put our minds at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. Elaine went above and beyond to make sure our special day went smoothly without a single hiccup and that is exactly what happened. They are organized and extremely professional. The venue and ballroom upstairs itself is beautiful, the food is superb and the service just cannot be surpassed. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were outside and it was picturesque. Everyone is still talking about how our wedding is the best one they have been to in a very long time. The hotel rooms are clean and beautiful. Everything about this venue is ideal if you want a beautiful wedding, highly recommend!!!

Elaine, Chelsea and their awesome crew did such a fantastic job making it a special day for ourselves and our guests. From being responsive to coordinating and ensuring everything ran smooth. Most importantly everyone, including myself and my husband, had a blast! We couldn't have selected a better venue. The food was delicious, decor and space was beautiful, staff was so patient and easy to work with and price was very reasonable. My husband and I visited several venues and then we spoke to Elaine. We had our wedding at the Easton's Pavilion in August 2019. We loved the clean look of the ballroom and the views from upstairs. We were so happy with the wedding and the service. Chelsea and her team did a great job setting up our space with all the different linens and chairs that we brought in. They worked well with all our vendors, including our band and uplighting, so everything felt seamless to us. Chelsea checked in periodically throughout the night and made sure we had drinks and snacks before our first dance. The room itself was perfect and provided a great flow and big dance floor for our 175 guests. Chelsea was a big help when we selected food and appetizers and worked with us on a few substitutions for liquor. Cocktail hour was full of good options for our guests - from the pasta station to the raw bar to the passed appetizers. Guests were definitely not hungry! When it came time for dinner, the meals were good, on time, and hot. The fire pits and the open bar were the perfect way to end the night.

We did our wedding hotel block and our rehearsal dinner here. It was a little chaotic at check in due to the multiple events going on the weekend of the wedding. This venue was made for weddings! I am super picky when it comes to details and we must have looked at dozens of venues before seeing and deciding on the Atlantic Resort! We had a Hindu Jewish Fusion wedding here and could not have asked for a better venue to host all of the parties that come with that. We hosted a henna night, sangeet, 2 ceremonies, a luncheon, baraat, cocktail hour, reception and brunch onsite and everything went sooo smoothly! It was super important for our venue to have a onsite accommodations so having the hotel was so amazing and convenient not to mention the rooms were all up to date and so clean/modern. This venue doesn't overcharge for dumb things like linens, chiavari chairs, cake cutting, etc. but really works with you and your budget to have the most amazing time of your lives. Indian weddings can be super stressful with all the events going on but our coordinator Anna helped make sure everything went so smoothly! We were in constant contact with her leading up to the wedding and she ensured that we were taken care of throughout the day especially. It was also so important to us to be able to bring in Indian food since a lot of venues don't allow this and she worked so well with our caterer to set up everything and ensure it was what we wanted. The food from Atlantic was very tasty too which is rare for a wedding venue! We were able to host our brunch in the top ballroom and re-used centerpieces and reserved the cake from the reception so it turned out so beautiful!! We received SO many compliments on the amazing space and especially want to thank Anna and her team for making all of our events go so smoothly so that we could have the time of our lives!!

Our wedding at The Atlantic Resort was in August of this year. What an amazing venue to say the least! We had both the ceremony and reception here. We were blessed with beautiful weather and the outdoor setting was perfect for the ceremony. The upstairs room, where our reception was, is STUNNING. Our wedding coordinator, Anna, was fantastic, and went out of her way to accommodate any request. Nothing was too much trouble, and she gave great suggestions for different vendors. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. The convenience of having the hotel and an onsite restaurant for brunch the next day just added to the wow factor. My guests still rave about our wedding, and I have Anna and The Atlantic Resort team for that. Thank you so much for making our wedding a day we will never forget <3.

We got married on 11/17/18 and were just blown away at how smooth and flawless our entire wedding was! Not only can you have your rehearsal, ceremony and reception in the same place, you’re guests don’t have to worry about traveling, they can stay right upstairs. I can’t even believe we considered other options for our wedding day. Elaine was our wedding coordinator and was an absolute saint. Everything was perfect!!! We can’t thank you enough Elaine! Elaine went above and beyond. Our vendor for our donuts did not show up due to a miscommunication on their end and Elaine went out and replaced our donuts without us even asking. None of our guests even noticed there was an issue. Look no further for the venue of your dreams!

Our wedding at the Atlantic Resort was in July and is still the talk among family and friends. We picked this venue for it's location, resort and reception rooms, menu, and of course cost. Our favorite added bonus was being able to work with one of the coordinators Anna K. We planned our wedding over a period of 15 months and Anna was there to support us every step of the way. She quickly responded to any of our questions, and provided vendor recommendations where we needed them. She's so loving and made the process really easy. The night before the wedding we hosted a rehearsal dinner for 50ppl in a private room catered from Johnny's the hotel restaurant. We all loved the food and enjoyed the fire pits and outdoor bar after dinner. The next day my bridesmaids, glam team and I prepared in the huge bridal suite at the resort. Anna used the decor we brought to design the upstairs reception room while we all got ready. We didn't have to lift a finger and everything was in perfect place. Our ceremony was outside under the pergola and the photos were absolutely stunning. Our reception was so much fun and the food was to die for. During cocktail hour we had a raw bar, pasta station and passed food and our guest couldn't get enough. The waitstaff and bartenders were so kind and attentive, our guest enjoyed the whole night. The night ended with late night food, a last dance then we headed to Johnny's bar until it closed. Before heading back to MA my husband and I stayed for an extended weekend and didn't want to leave. Thank you to the Atlantic Resort team for helping to make our dream wedding come true.

Ana went above and beyond for my guest, she even went out of her way to get comfortable shoes for one of my guest. My Wife and I got married here on July 13th and we worked with Elaine. Elaine was great to work with, always welcomed us with a hug, and made us feel like we had known her for years. Each time we contacted Elaine for something, she always answered any questions that we had or resolved any issues that arose. She was extremely flexible and tried to make the entire wedding planning process as stress-free as possible. I will say, however, that there is a bit of an issue with communication here though. We were a bit surprised when we were told that we had to speak to different people at the venue to book shuttles and room blocks and that it could not be arranged through Elaine. We dealt with Barbara for that and the entire process was a bit chaotic and it did not seem like Barbara had a clue as to what she was doing. She wouldn't respond to emails and it often took several emails to get in touch with her. It would be beneficial if they were able to streamline this process and do all of this through the wedding coordinator.We were thrown a curveball a few days before our wedding when Elaine experienced a death in the family, a few days prior to our wedding. We were assigned a new wedding coordinator, Chelsea, just days before our wedding. We were assured that she was experienced and that everything would be communicated to her. Prior to the rehearsal, we were not contacted by Chelsea at all. The day before the wedding, at the rehearsal, Chelsea told us that she had been in the business for years, that she usually works behind the scenes in the office, and not to worry. While I understand there were extenuating circumstances here and that she was thrown into being our wedding coordinator last minute, it did not seem like she had the slightest clue as to what she was doing for one of the most important days in our lives. The day of the wedding, during cocktail hour, she was nowhere to be found. After finally tracking her down, a bit annoyed, I told her that we were told by Elaine that we were supposed to have our own cocktail waiter/waitress bringing us food and drinks. After being told this, she looked at me puzzled, as if this were a complete surprise to her. The venue could also stand to give more attention to the lawn in the ceremony area. The ground was very barren for our wedding and there were patches of dirt everywhere, making it so that dirt was being kicked up onto everyone’s shoes. A member of our wedding party had to ask them if they had anything to cover up a particular patch of dirt that the wedding party had to walk through for the ceremony. We were also a bit surprised that the Atlantic Resort never followed up with us to check to see how our wedding went and were disappointed that we were never given any of our leftover wedding cake. Aside from these mishaps, the rest of the wedding day seemed to run pretty smoothly. Overall, my wife and I would highly recommend the Atlantic Resort to any couple looking to have a beautiful wedding at a reasonable rate.

You cannot ask for a greater wedding experience than having your dream wedding at the Atlantic Resort!The venue and hotel were both recently finished, and they both are super stylish with a modern look, and you cannot ask for more from a venue.Our event coordinator was Anna, who was lovely and helped calm our nervousness from the start of planning, all the way until the next day after the wedding. She was very detail oriented, organized, always remembered our requests with the wedding, every single time we met her before the wedding. She also helped plan out the order of events for the reception, and throughout the night was very thorough in making sure things were running smoothly. Nothing was rushed, and she coordinated with all other vendors to ensure a perfect night. They made our guests feel welcome and had absolutely great service.The food offered by the Atlantic Resort is definitely top quality, and unmatched. We opted for an additional raw bar, which was amazing and loved by all of our guests, and there was plenty of food to go around for everyone. The entrees are also spot on, we definitely recommend the filet mignon. The food served the day of was exactly how it was during our tasting, which goes to show how well and consistent their cooks are.We also definitely recommend staying at the Cambria next door; Atlantic Resort works really well with them.

You cannot ask for a greater wedding experience than having your dream wedding at the Atlantic Resort!The venue and hotel were both recently finished, and they both are super stylish with a modern look, and you cannot ask for more from a venue.Our event coordinator was Anna, who was lovely and helped calm our nervousness from the start of planning, all the way until the next day after the wedding. She was very detail oriented, organized, always remembered our requests with the wedding, every single time we met her before the wedding. She also helped plan out the order of events for the reception, and throughout the night was very thorough in making sure things were running smoothly. Nothing was rushed, and she coordinated with all other vendors to ensure a perfect night. My husband and I could not have picked a better venue for our June 2 wedding! We got married in the first floor ballroom. It was absolutely stunning. The food was incredible from start to finish. Our guest are still talking about how delicious everything was. The day flowed so smoothly thanks to our amazing coordinator at the Atlantic! Anna was incredible to work with! She helped keep things running in a timely manner. She was always available throughout the planning process and even the day of our wedding. She was always prepared. She even brought appetizers into the bridal suite for my bridesmaids and I since we were fixing my dress bustle during cocktail hour. She got to know my family and was very passionate about her job! She always had a smile on and was the most pleasant person to work with! She even came around the morning after the wedding to check on my guests that stayed at the hotel to see how we were enjoying ourselves. The hotel was incredible as well. Everyone was friendly to all of my guests and made the check in process so easy. They were so accommodating and always available for their guests. If I could give this venue more than 5 stars I would!

We had our wedding on 8/19/17. We worked with Anna who is THE BEST. She went above and beyond for everything and for every one of our requests. She was was very responsive, answered every question we had, was patient, knowledgeable, and also very personable and fun, and by the end of our wedding, felt like part of our family. (We had a few interactions throughout the planning with Elaine, who was quite rude and unprofessional towards us. Very glad we did not work with her.). We came down to the venue several times to view it (with our florist, with our families, etc.) and Anna welcomed us every time, even if it was last minute. Anna worked very well with all of our vendors, including our wedding planner (we got a month-of planner).VENUE: we had the downstairs ballroom, which was spacious, well decorated with hues of golds, neutrals and creams, which is nice and celebratory for a wedding. We had 135 guests. We placed the DJ booth at the mirror end and our sweetheart table on the opposite end near the curtains. We closed off the curtains during the reception and had the space next to the windows between the curtains as a lounge area with high and low tops. This is where we had our family photos done, and our ketubah signing before the wedding.CEREMONY: Our ceremony was outside on the lawn during the sunset, which is an OUTSTANDING view - stunning piece of property - brides/photographers, you will NOT be disappointed with the photo opps during sunset! The main drawback is that you can see the parking lot and cars during your vows , and there is no privacy between when the bride walks out of the resort to walk down the aisle, which is kind of a long walk, so I had my florist bring in tall hedges so that my guests wouldn't see me taking the walk from the resort to the ceremony site. This lack of privacy between the ceremony site and the parking lot is why I gave Atlantic Resort 4/5 stars. We had a Jewish wedding so our florist used the pergola as our huppah and decorated it, which was nice to not have to bring in our own huppah.COCKTAIL HOUR: was held outside on the lawn, and the hedges that we brought in made a great photo backdrop. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience much of the cocktail hour because we were taking photos during the beautiful sunset, but all of our guests were raving about the food. (We got Package 4 - the full package).RECEPTION: we had the option of going until 12:30 am (for an additional fee, which was totally worth it) which is hard to find in a wedding venue in RI or MA. Afterwards, we moved to the bar and had a few drinks there, although it does close early (1 am). The only change I would have made in our decor in the ballroom is I would have done lighting because I felt like it was too bright in the ballroom. FOOD: We had a tasting of the food months before our wedding and everything we tried was delicious. The food at the wedding was outstanding, and all of our guests were very satisfied (we had a big Russian Jewish wedding with a lot of picky eaters).BRUNCH: we hosted a next-day brunch, and Anna was very amenable to us using the patio at the restaurant. We had about 100 people at brunch and it was a perfect space, and also reasonably priced for brunch (we called around to other places in Newport/Middletown, and brunch at the Atlantic Resort was the best value and still a nice space).RESTAURANT: Food is very good, service was poor. Outdoor bar is great. BRIDAL SUITE: large enough for bridal party

My husband and I were the first to be married at The Atlantic Resort and it was the best day of our lives. The staff were so kind to us and our guests, and both Elaine and Kirby are truly the best. Elaine is now like a member of our family, she connected us with a local priest who made our ceremony so special. We had our ceremony outside and had the most beautiful sunset and perfect weather. The set up in the ballroom from the linens to the chandelier, made all of our pictures come out amazing! I would recommend all couples to get married at The Atlantic Resort!

I don't think I could possibly say enough wonderful things about this venue, or the people that have brought it to life. I've been to a lot of weddings, and perhaps I'm a tad biased, but our wedding surpassed every dream I had for it. I had to pinch myself throughout the reception to know that it was real! A brand new venue with amazing food, views, and beautiful decor, with a team of wedding coordinators that help you and run the event too! You won't find that anywhere else for this price! First off, the people- Elaine, Kirby, and Anna are seasoned, professional wedding planners who brought every vision we had to life. They became our friends during this process, and genuinely had our best interests in mind. They were honest and candid with what they felt that guests would find important, and what was just going to be a waste of $ (unlike other venues that would love to just squeeze every penny from you... they GENUINELY had our best interests in mind). Elaine in particular is just fantastic to work with, and is so experienced and kind. She would even send me messages of encouragement leading up to the wedding- like a good friend would do The food is spectacular... I've been fortunate enough to travel and eat at some amazing restaurants in my life, and this was the most delicious and well prepared meal I've ever enjoyed at any wedding. It was something you'd expect from a 5 star restaurant! Huge pieces of filet and large lobster tails, all beautifully presented and served hot. All meals were out within 10 minutes of dinner service beginning, and one of the things I saw the most pictures of, were guests taking pictures of their CLEAN PLATES!!! The appetizers and cocktail hour were also like nothing I've ever seen... forget your typical cheese and cracker platter with a few carrot sticks thrown in- the charcuterie they put out had at least 6 or 7 different cheeses (like baked Brie... wow), at least 4 different smoked meats (prosciutto, mortadella, etc.), and countless exotic fruits and vegetables. This was a feast on its own! The passed appetizers were creative, hot, and delicious... clam cakes with shooters of clam chowder, lamb \"lollipops,\" mini \"blt's,\" and mini cups of Mac and cheese (our favorite, and one of those special requests that they made happen for us!) Then, as if this wasn't enough, the bar was incredible, and the bar manager extremely talented... the signature drinks were even better than when we sampled them at home, and everyone complimented how delicious every drink came out. The beauty of the venue and its location is obvious, but perhaps the best part of all of this is the value you receive for your money. Multiple people have told me it was the best wedding they've ever attended, and probably think it cost a fortune, being in Newport and right on the water. Honestly, this venue is comprised of a group of people that don't believe in nickel-and-diming you... no stupid hidden fees, no surprises... you have a generous timeline in which you can change your guest count for last minute issues, and the pricing is extremely fair and MUCH more reasonable than anywhere else in the area (do your homework for other nearby venues, and you'll see what I mean).In summary, if you want to get married in Newport, don't waste your time looking elsewhere besides this venue. You're going to pay so much more for so much less, and miss out on the perfect location. And three amazing people who love to help you make it all happen

Not only do they have a venue but also an accommodation for guests (the Cambria hotel) and a restaurant to please your traditional American/seafood cravings within the same location. I visited the Atlantic last September to celebrate my cousin's wedding day, and within the first few moments I decided that this will also be where I will hold my wedding in a few years. I loved every second of my experience! Anna, the event coordinator, and her whole team were so accommodating of our needs and ran the entire night so flawlessly. The 2nd floor were they held the banquet was simply gorgeous. Very spacious, and not mention beautiful decors, glorious view, incredible food, and comfortable stay. All in all made for an unforgettable time for everyone.

We went with Atlantic Resort Newport on a whim. When my husband Mike and I met with Elaine all she could physically show us was some digitally created photos of what the space would look like as it hadn't been built yet. The photos were beautiful but what really sold us on the location was her. She was kind and accommodating from minute one, so much so that we didn't take more than half and hour after our first meeting to go with ARN. When it came down to crunch time hours before the wedding, Kirby was there with Elaine and helping us iron out the details - between making sure that all of our guests had transportation to the small inane requests like asking for a single sweet potato for one guest. They had it all covered for us. The space was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the food was great. If we could do it all over again we'd still pick ARN.

We got married this past Saturday at the Atlantic Resort and my husband and I could not be more pleased. It is truly a BEAUTIFUL venue. The food was amazing and the staff was caring and made sure the event went exactly according to plan. Elaine is the best! Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun it was. My husband and I just had our wedding at the Atlantic Resort this past weekend and I couldn't have been more thrilled. For us, guest experience was the #1 most important criteria for our day, and our guests were RAVING. The food was excellent, staff amazing and timing on point. People kept telling us our wedding was an 11/10, even my husbands German aunt who is extremely difficult to please and tells it like it is. Dinner was on time which I've come to realize is not common at the weddings we've attended. Elaine is amazing and runs a tight ship - she was kind, organized and always upfront and transparent with everything. You can tell that she has seen it all and knows exactly what to recommend so the flow of the day works. Value wise what I loved about Atlantic Resort was that everything is included and clear. I'm an event planner in my 9-5 so I used an excel budget tracker that I use daily to compare total costs, and once I started adding in random costs at other venues we looked at (cost to have ceremony on site, cake cutting fees etc) we realized that the per person cost was actually a lot higher when it appeared to be less on the surface. Everything is included in the per person cost at Atlantic Resort so once you add tax and gratuity, you get your number and can easily figure out your total venue cost with # of guests. Aesthetics of a place are also very important to me and the ballroom is so beautiful and elegant (golds and whites) with hardwoods. I toured a lot of venues that had older carpeting etc and my color palate (gold, rose gold, and greens) worked so well in this bright stunning space. I was pretty crazy about the decor we brought and had a vision in my head of how i wanted everything to look and the way it was set up was perfect and elegant. If you're looking for a venue in the Newport area, I would highly recommend Atlantic Resort we had an incredible day and I can't stop smiling.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the reception was flawless. Kirby worked with us for months and she was great! I would call and text her all the time and she was always willing to meet and discuss anything I needed to. The venue is beautiful, clean, and new. The staff were all incredible. They made sure that my husband and I had time to eat some of the appetizers before we walked into our cocktail hour, and made sure we knew when our food was out so that it wouldn't get cold. The food was all delicious, all of our guests raved about being able to cut their Filet's without a knife. Overall, amazing wedding, venue, staff, and food. Highly recommend.

Amazing. We had our wedding October 28th there and all I can say is it exceeded every expectation I and my groom had. Elaine is the event manager and is by far the best in the business. She handled everything for our special day and made sure it all went smoothly. We heard nothing but compliments on the appetizers, especially the lobster rolls and bakes brie. The dinner was great and we heard from many it was the best baked stuffed shrimp. Filets were cooked to order....There isn't one thing that we didn't LOVE about this place
