Atlantis Banquets & Events offers two unique wedding venues located on Long Island at the crossroads of both Long Island Wine Country and the famed Hamptons. Nestled on the banks of the Peconic River, these iconic waterfront wedding venues feature a one-of-a-kind destination resort. The dedicated event and culinary artists at Atlantis Banquets & Events will assist you in creating a once-in-a-lifetime wedding celebration that you and your loved ones will cherish forever. Facilities and Capacity Couples who prefer a unique setting will be captivated by our 120,000-gallon Lost City of Atlantis Shark exhibit, along with the Penguin and Sea Lion habitats as well as our showcased marine life located throughout the Long Island Aquarium. Couples who prefer a romantic classic venue can dance the night away in the beautiful Sea Star Ballroom with panoramic views of our marina and tranquil Peconic River. Atlantis Banquets & Events can accommodate up to 320 wedding guests in the waterfront Sea Star Ballroom and 275 guests in the fun, interactive Coliseum Room of the Long Island Aquarium. These venues feature several options for couples to exchange their vows and celebrate their nuptials both indoors and outdoors. Services Offered Atlantis Banquets & Events is a full-service catering venue that is available to host wedding ceremonies and receptions along with other celebrations including bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches. Our daughter and son in law just had their wedding at Atlantis Banquets and Events. It was pure magic from start to finish!!! The planning stages were made a lot easier. We worked with Joan and she was wonderful !!! Great advice and helpful. The venue transforms into an amazing place. It is so beautiful. Our guests were blown away!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! Lots of amazing dishes to choose from. We did the ceremony in the boat house, the cocktail hour around the coy fish pond and inside the tent and the reception in the room with all the tanks. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. They made the wedding work like a well oiled machine !! They worked very hard and were always smiling and attentive to our guests. We took a vendor package which was available. It included a baker , photographer, DJ and Florist. We had a few of each to choose from. Every single vendor we chose was fabulous. The florist created beautiful arrangements to enhance the ambiance of the room. The dj kept the party fun and exciting and the photographer was awesome!! The cake was delicious and beautiful. We did add to our vendor package We also did add ons to the menu but all worth it!! This venue is pure magic. The staff are ultimate professionals and I’m sure people are still talking about this wedding !! Guests were impressed with everything!!! We thank the staff, Joan , Bryan and all the vendors for giving our daughter and son in law a wedding you can only dream about !!

My husband and I really, truly loved having our wedding at Atlantis. We had a 75 person wedding in January 2023. The process of planning the wedding from booking to show day was relatively smooth and much less chaotic than I was expecting. Joan LaRosa, our sales manager, was with us every step of the way to make sure our vision came to life. She fulfilled every request we had, including making sure I had vegan and non-dairy food options. Every detail was considered.Our ceremony was in the Sea Star Ballroom lobby which was enchanting and gorgeous. I made an unforgettable entrance down their grand staircase (didn't fall!). Our reception was in the aquarium itself and it could not have been more beautiful. The set up was great, the ambiance was calm but cheerful. We also got to take photos with the cutest penguin named Dwayne (I recommend him). Our bridal attendant, Christina, was really the star of the show. Anything we needed, she was there. While waiting for the ceremony to start, I was nervously sitting at the top of the stairs and Christina brought me about three glasses of champagne at my request and I love her for that. During our cocktail hour I was busy greeting guests but desperately wanted a plate of coconut shrimp but by the time I could sit down to have it, it was all gone. Christina was on it and got the kitchen to make me my own plate of shrimp. At the end of the night she packed up all our things and walked us next door to our hotel room and made sure we were all taken care of before bidding us adieu. I made sure to tell her I loved her and that she was an angel.For our vendors, we chose a three vendor package through Atlantis. This included a DJ, florist, and photographer. I have nothing but good things to say about the florist (Dalsimer, Spitz and Peck) and DJ (Absolute DJs). I really wanted a cascade bouquet for myself and what the florist made for me exceeded my expectations and I got so many compliments on it. The DJ was used for ceremony and reception and both went so smooth. The vibe created by the DJ has stuck out as a main memory from that day. The only complaint at all that I have for the whole wedding experience is with the photographer (Marco Photography). The experience taking the photos as well as the photos themselves were stressful and frankly unprofessional. We felt we were rushed the whole time taking photos and were uncomfortable with some of the awkward poses we were put in despite protesting. Some of the photo locations were weird, like a photo of my mom and I taken in front of the air conditioner in the hotel room, a photo of me that was taken next to the ice machine in the hotel, and our first look being done with a bunch of chairs in the background. The photos that were sent to us were really unattractive and in my opinion unacceptable. Over exposed, excessive flash and backlighting, very poor editing. There was nothing soft or elegant or romantic about them. They felt harsh and garish. I made my feelings known and thus began 7 months of back and forth with them to get the photos re-edited, design our thank you cards, and get the album and all prints back. I've left out a lot of details for brevity but the experience was absolutely terrible and overall I do not recommend this vendor to anyone.I highly recommend Atlantis Banquets and Events if you want a really unique wedding experience that you and your loved ones will remember forever.

Highly recommend having your wedding/other event at Atlantis Aquarium. The staff were all so helpful from planning our wedding to executing the day beautifully. I have to commend the bridal attendants in particular. They were absolutely fantastic and I really appreciated them being there for me throughout the night.

Absolutely amazing. The food was out of this world. They are very organized and the staff is amazing. I wish they had an inside garden or anything that could accommodate rainy days. Pictures were very bland (not the photographer’s fault) I didn’t invest in flower because I thought I’d be taking pictures outside.

Can't say enough about this venue! We had an amazing day. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The entire experience from start to finish was awesome. We wanted a truly memorable and unique venue and we got it for an affordable price! Definitely recommend the sea lion and penguin photos! So fun!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue. Everything, from the staff to the food, exceeded my expectations.My husband and I worked with Joan and Bryan in the months leading up to the big day, and they were wonderful. Their professionalism and amiability put me at ease, and I can honestly say — as the bride — I was never all that stressed during the planning process.I'd also like to give a shout-out to all the staff members who worked our wedding the night-of. My bridal assistant was fantastic, always checking in and asking if my husband or I needed anything. She even got us some extra entrees to take back to the hotel room. Also, towards the end of the night, I noticed my pearl bracelet (an old family heirloom) had broken. My bridesmaids worked with some staff to search the floor, and we ended up finding 5/6 of the missing pearls! The care and conscientiousness of each and every staff member did not go unnoticed, and I definitely recommend Atlantis to anyone getting married on Long Island. Many guests came up to my husband and I to compliment Atlantis as well — in terms of the pure uniqueness of the venue, how delicious the food was, and how great the staff members were.Thanks to this venue and its very caring staff, my husband and I had a truly wonderful and unforgettable wedding.

Our wedding day was everything we could have imagined, and more. Atlantis was a pleasure to work with, communicated promptly and effectively. They are super flexible with planning and were always willing to answer any questions and help however they could. We absolutely loved working with Joan and Bryan to help our vision come to life. Scott was our captain the day of and he absolutely killed it, everything ran so smoothly (at least as far as we could tell)! We had a REALLY big wedding, and Scott and the rest of his team were able to coordinate the timing down to the minute, and stick to it! Shout out to Liz, the best bridal attendant ever- we always had a full glass, food in front of us, and she was willing to do anything we asked. The food, both during cocktail hour, and the plated entrees were to DIE for. We are still having people reach out weeks after telling us how great the food was, and how great the bartenders, and wait staff were at each table. We are soooo grateful for all of the time and energy that Atlantis Banquets and Events put into our special day. Can't recommend this venue enough!

Just had our wedding with Atlantis Banquets and Events. Absolutely beautiful day. The best part is that just about everything is included in the original price, from food to lighting to the fantastic staff! Everyone was so sincerely kind and did everything to ensure that the day went absolutely perfect! (They even snuck us through the back room and service elevator to prevent guests from seeing us ahead of time) I can honestly say that there was not a single thing that I had to worry about on the day of. Absolutely recommend them

We had our 11/6/21 wedding here and I'm SO happy that we chose this venue! Everything was exactly as promised and our guests are still talking about how awesome the venue was! There weren't any hidden costs and their staff helped us with everything so much from the day we booked to the actual day of the wedding - we did not have to do ANY work on the day of the wedding which was amazing! We had our cocktail hour (actually cocktail hour & a half) in the actual aquarium and our reception in the Seastar ballroom - highly recommend doing your wedding day this way! The cocktail hour (and a half) was amazing - food was great and setting was beautiful! The reception was amazing - it looked beautiful and the staff was awesome! All of the staff were so great but our bridal attendant Johanna went ABOVE and BEYOND - she was so attentive and helpful, I can't say enough wonderful things about her! Highly recommend this venue!

I had my fairytale dream wedding here. I was a Covid bride who had to postpone and it was 10000% worth the wait. It was so magical and so much better than I could have ever imagined. I could not be happier with my experience as an Aquarium bride. My guests will be raving for years to come. Craig was so friendly from the start and we felt he genuinely had our best interest at heart. Dan the owner was absolutely incredible. Him and my dad became besties at the Seaside grill the night before my wedding. Bryan our details coordinator was great. My bridal attendant was an absolute gem and so helpful through the whole day. My captain was great too. Even the servers said congratulations and kind words to me. Staff was on point! Suzanne at the Hyatt was very accommodating and helpful. Having a room block connected was so great as I had a ton of out of town guests coming from Rhode Island. The hotel indoor pool, outdoor pool, a gym, breakfast til 11!!!! I had breakfast with my guests both mornings which was so fun and it was so nice not to have to plan a brunch for out of towners. The staff was sweet and helpful. They even asked how everything went the next day. Where do I even begin? My guests were greeted with strawberries and champagne, led out to the pavilion for a beautiful sunset ceremony, then our cocktail hour was an awesome indoor outdoor near the koi pond. The food was incredible and I highly recommend adding the seafood boat. We did photos before the ceremony which was great so we could enjoy the cocktail hour. They even made sure we got a little plate with h’orderves which was thoughtful. We also had champagne and wine in the bridal suite. Walking through the Aquarium just before closing I felt like a literal Disney princess with all their patrons young and old stopping to say how beautiful I looked. They made everything so easy to plan and I kept thinking I was forgetting something because it was such a stress free experience. I got to take photos with the Penguin and the Sea Lion as an add on. Soooo magical. We did the buffet and it was amazing!!!! The food was so good. We had a band, Dj, and a photo booth. They put out our centerpieces and votives and the shark room looked stunning. Our tables were next to the exhibits which was so cool! We added on the ice cream bar which I highly suggest. My guests loved it! We had so much fun. Truly a perfect evening. We ended up at the Seaside bar at the hotel after the reception for an after party. There was another bar inside too. The staff was so great! If I could do it all again I would in a heartbeat. The bakery they used for the cake was rolling pin. They order it for you which makes it so easy. It looked pretty and was actually delicious! We did cannoli cream. I will also say that being a bride during Covid was stressful but they made rescheduling so seamless and easy. No wild fees or anything. They really care about their brides. You could have your wedding at a regular venue our you could have your wedding at a venue that’s truly unforgettable. Look no further!!!! Have your wedding here, you will not regret it!!!

We just got married at the Sea Star Ballroom Memorial Day weekend 2021. We can say it truly exceeded all expectations, and expectations were high as we both felt it was the “perfect” venue when we found it! We picked our venue and date in the middle of the COVID-unknowns. Any questions, concerns or thoughts we had were listened to, respected and answers provided. This was a time of uncertainty however the Atlantis Banquets & Events team made us feel supported and certain throughout the process. The team made us feel like we were the priority and whatever we wanted and felt comfortable with was the priority. Initially I met with Joan who was wonderful; such a kind, patient and sweet woman to work with in the beginning of wedding planning. Next we worked with Bryan who was great as well! I had a lot of questions and changes, literally leading up to the night before the wedding (due to last minute RSVP changes) and he was always responsive, kind and patient with me! Due to COVID they did not host their bridal showcase however we trusted that everything would go well. We did not have the opportunity to try any of the food before selecting anything and everything was delicious! Our guests all raved about the cocktail hour menu and the options to choose from at dinner - which were all so tasty! Our bridal attendant, Liz, was a meant to be fit for our wedding. I couldn’t imagine someone filling that position better than she did, she was a friend throughout the night and truly went above and beyond my expectations for a bridal attendant. She was so kind, attentive, caring and observant. Always one step ahead of everything else (in a good way!). I couldn’t have asked for a better bridal attendant by my side. The whole team at the venue that night out together a great event and ensured everything went smoothly for our special day! Everyone was constantly thinking and trying to do the best for us, including Christina when she thought outside the box for a cake “topper” which I loved her idea and appreciated the thought! I would definitely recommend Atlantis Banquets and Events for your next event, you won’t be disappointed.

We had looked at almost 20 venues (No, Im serious). The sea star ballroom was the last, and we pretty much knew that day that this was it. I was very hung up on coming down the staircase for the ceremony, which I loved every second of, I mean I completely milked the attention that received! I am giving them such a high ranking because although I was frustrated at the start of the postponement process, which was out of their control, when things began to reopen again and we decided to move forward, they could not have been more understanding and accommodating. They offered us every possible option when we decided to move forward, and any combination from a sit down dinner for 50 people in the ballroom to a cocktail party in the marina. Danny was incredible about making sure that we had anything we needed. The staff the night of was also on top of things the entire time. Again, I cannot say enough nice things about the staff here and how accommodating they were. Elizabeth was my attendant and she was remarkable. Our captain was on top of everything. They made sure that everything ran smoothly for us as well as for our guests. The food was phenomenal. We ended up doing a buffet style dinner instead of our originally planned sit down, and I am so happy we did. Their presentation was great, and everything they did was perfect. I am forever grateful to the great job they did for our special day. They made it even more memorable.

Atlantis was the best choice we made! Their staff were a delight to work with from the first email. They are extremely well coordinated during the planning process. It put me at ease to know I had nothing to worry about the day of. The venue is immaculate, well cared for over all great space. Everyone took photos on the balcony!Our guests were in awe of the food and space. We have heard nothing but good feedback. The two bars were a hit, never a long wait. The staff the day of was friendly and made the day perfect. Would highly recommend on all fronts!

I had my wedding two months ago at this venue. We opted to rent out the entire place and have our wedding on the riverside pavilion, our cocktail hour in the aquarium proper, and our reception in the sea star ballroom. This made the wedding a touch more expensive but it was absolutely worth it. We had full run of the entire place and did not have to worry about another wedding starting or finishing during ours. The guests at my wedding had a wonderful time and were blown away by the beautiful and unique venue. Everyone told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, we could not be more pleased. The staff building up to the day were absolutely wonderful. If you are looking to book your wedding at Atlantis Banquets and events ask for Joan. She was such a joy and really worked with us to put together a wonderful wedding. She was patient with me and answered all of my incessant questions and she was truly happy for Me and my husband. Joan feels like part of the family now ( I miss you, girl! ) Even the staff who were not involved with us directly were very helpful and accommodating. Sue and her assistant (?) Alicia worked with us to get the room block were super accommodating and helped me get more rooms added at the last minute. Everyone was so kind to us and friendly they really made us feel like family.The only disappointing part was the behavior of the bridal attendant on the day of my wedding, we were running behind schedule and she was very pushy and unpleasant. She rushed us from the minute she got to my suite all the way through to the reception. This made it very difficult to find moments just enjoy my wedding. Overall, we had a lovely time. The attendants behavior towards us was the only real blemish on the day. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!

I absolutely LOVE this place, we sat right next to an octopus while eating dinner and there were penguins in the cocktail hour! The food was really good and I just had a great night watching my friends get married. If I was doing my wedding again I would have it in the aquarium.

I live out of state and have never been to a wedding at an aquarium!! The cocktail hour was around all the fish tanks which was so cool! and there was a bacon bar with all sorts of different bacon things! It was really one of the best weddings I've ever been too.

I will leave a more detailed review in the near future but for now I want everyone to know that if you have your wedding here make sure Joan is your girl, easy it was to work with her and genuinely loved seeing our day unfold as we imagined. She bent over backwards to help us at Atlantis banquets and events! the food was incredible here, especially our cocktail hour, And Lori our matre d was wonderful. We truly feel connected to the people who’ve helped us at our special day. AB & E is where it’s at! We used their package which included florist, sh& photographer. Main Street moriches, absolute, and Marco all get an a+! If you’re looking for a unique venue, Atlantis afforded us an incredible wedding with really great service...To be continued...

We started our plans with Craig Alexander, who was so professional and such a pleasure to deal with. We went with many of the house vendors and were very happy. The room looked gorgeous. It was decorated like a winter wonderland which was created by Glenn from Prestige Events. He did an amazing job and was able to create the vision that my daughter and son-in-law had hoped for. The wait staff was amazing and the food was delicious.Marco...from Marco Photography & Video was our photographer and he was excellent!! He knows this venue and did a great job. Kevin was our D.J. from Absolute Entertainment and he did a fabulous job. We were all so pleased with our event and would highly recommend this venue!!

Everything from doing the Sea Lion Kiss to dancing and having the time of our lives during our reception was spectacular. All of the staff were courteous and just simply knew what they were doing. They were always available for literally anything we needed or desired. Also, the venue itself was just beautiful inside and out. Their detailing department was also very easy to work with and took everything into consideration that we may have wanted for the wedding. Not to mention, the food was outstanding! Our night was truly magical and we couldn’t have asked for anything else.

I will begin my review but advising I am in the industry & have been for 15+ years & that I had made this known to all parties prior to & on the day of our event. (wedding planner) I can now officially say I have been on both sides of the experience. I knew going into this that not everything wouldn’t go according to plan & that expectations of \"perfection\" were far from reality & of course took as many measures as humanly possible in hopes to avoid those most commonly known. However knowing what I know & expectation I hold my myself & my team to as \"the bride\" I was extremely disappointed & disheartened with how my husband & I were treated on our wedding day. There are several factors that have resulted in my rating. I will only name a few. Instructions were neglected (not placing pens with our scrapbook resulted in no notes from our guests) Bustled my own gown as the BA did not know how & our bridal party had already joined cocktail. Matire 'D & BA were M-I-A leaving our photographers & party to navigate the Aquarium & attempt to manage where to go for our images with the animals it was a lovely little guessing game. Just before the ceremony we walked in circles trying to find where the bridal suite was within the Aquarium as we had never been shown where it was located. Not once did anyone on staff pop their heads in to check if we were okay if we needed anything prior to the ceremony perhaps we left something at the hotel needed hairspray, a bobby pin,or even a DRINK of water?The Atlantis team was so far behind with prepping the reception area that cocktail hour went over by 30 mins which means everything else would now be rushed. (Knowing this is a pitfall of being in the industry)We were 70 mins late before we even started the toast. It’s not as though everything was set up outside & a huge gray cloud came out of nowhere I was advised at NOON everything would be moved & adjusted... (Hmm... we can't be the first wedding ever here... or the first time it’s rained... can we?) I asked the BA \"Can I please have a drink!?\" That was the first & last I would see all night as not once was the groom or I checked on asked if we were OK or offered another beverage.The 2 bottles of Jameson we paid $66+ per bottle for as it was not included in any of the bar packages, & Atlantis wasn’t flexible with swapping or throwing 1 in for the groom were “gone”. In the event it did exist you'd think you'd see the bottle going down & place it to the side for the groom?No..Just me? Evidently we had a room captain? We met him once at the end of the night when everyone was looking for their envelopes which yes we still gave out undeservingly so even to spite standing within earshot of our bridal attendant speaking to our DJ (good friend & business partner) & hearing her say & I quote \"This entire event has been a S#%* Show!\" Ahh… Why yes little one it has been... Thank you & your colleagues for that. I will say although the Aquarium was aesthetically magnificent & the remainder of staff was attentive & did an adequate job (Waiter from Table 12 telling our family they were better off getting their own drinks from the bar as you were far too busy I didn't forget about you) I will say our guest had a wonderful time raved about the food & enjoyed a unique wedding venue experience & although the groom & I were not treated in the manner in which we had hoped, our items were returned back to us unwrapped broken & without care, we too had a lovely wedding day.

Matire 'D & BA were M-I-A leaving our photographers & party to navigate the Aquarium & attempt to manage where to go for our images with the animals it was a lovely little guessing game. Just before the ceremony we walked in circles trying to find where the bridal suite was within the Aquarium as we had never been shown where it was located. Not once did anyone on staff pop their heads in to check if we were okay if we needed anything prior to the ceremony perhaps we left something at the hotel needed hairspray, a bobby pin,or even a DRINK of water?The Atlantis team was so far behind with prepping the reception area that cocktail hour went over by 30 mins which means everything else would now be rushed. (Knowing this is a pitfall of being in the industry)We were 70 mins late before we even started the toast. It’s not as though everything was set up outside & a huge gray cloud came out of nowhere I was advised at NOON everything would be moved & adjusted... (Hmm... we can't be the first wedding ever here... or the first time it’s rained... can we?) I asked the BA \"Can I please have a drink!?\" That was the first & last I would see all night as not once was the groom or I checked on asked if we were OK or offered another beverage.The 2 bottles of Jameson we paid $66+ per bottle for as it was not included in any of the bar packages, & Atlantis wasn’t flexible with swapping or throwing 1 in for the groom were “gone”. In the event it did exist you'd think you'd see the bottle going down & place it to the side for the groom?No..Just me? Evidently we had a room captain? We met him once at the end of the night when everyone was looking for their envelopes which yes we still gave out undeservingly so even to spite standing within earshot of our bridal attendant speaking to our DJ (good friend & business partner) & hearing her say & I quote \"This entire event has been a S#%* Show!\" Ahh… Why yes little one it has been... Thank you & your colleagues for that. I will say although the Aquarium was aesthetically magnificent & the remainder of staff was attentive & did an adequate job (Waiter from Table 12 telling our family they were better off getting their own drinks from the bar as you were far too busy I didn't forget about you) I will say our guest had a wonderful time raved about the food & enjoyed a unique wedding venue experience & although the groom & I were not treated in the manner in which we had hoped, our items were returned back to us unwrapped broken & without care, we too had a lovely wedding day.

I'm only 22 and planned the wedding myself (& I don't know the first thing about planning a wedding!) but they walked me through everything! They were super accommodating to everything I requested. YES, THE FOOD IS GREAT! Unfortunately, for my wedding \"Alive on 25\" was taking place and they closed down Main St. and I was so worried that my guests would get lost with the detours or arrive late but even then the staff went above and beyond to get my guests to the location and valet park them & everything was on time! Everyone at the aquarium went above and beyond with every detail. They were very prompt at returning any questions that I had during the whole planning process. I had complete confidence in all the guidance that they provided me with throughout. When it came to the actual day of, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!!! The whole night ran so smooth. We made use of all of the different areas around the aquarium and the staff pulled off all the transitions seamlessly. My bridal attendant was amazing and was constantly looking out for me and anticipating anything that I might need (sometimes before I even realized I needed it). Besides all of that, the venue itself such a beautiful and unique experience. Everyone during the wedding and even for weeks after the wedding kept telling me about how this wedding was the most unique and awesome wedding they’ve ever been to. Overall, my whole experience with the aquarium was magnificent and I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a classy yet very unique experience for their wedding day!

Jayme was an outstanding bridal attendant and went above and beyond to make every second of the wedding perfect. If anything did go wrong, my husband and I had no idea! Everyone in the staff was professional and kind and treated not only our families like they were their own, but also all of our guests! We also had an after party where the food was unbelievable as well! The venue is breathtaking and our pictures came out beautiful because of it. Throughout the entire wedding process from the minute we booked the wedding up until the day of, the sales team and catering staff answered all of my questions and gave great advice to make the day special. I had my wedding here on 8/19, and it was absolutely perfect! My husband and I always knew we wanted our wedding to be something different, and this fantastic venue went above and beyond our expectations. From day 1, Craig Alexander was outstanding. He was always quick to answer an email and willing to show us around on more than one occasion, as my husband's family is from upstate and they were not able to attend our first walk-through. My bridal attendant, Ashley, was amazing. She always knew what I needed 5 minutes before I needed it! My maitre d', Lori, was on top of everything, and kept the whole event moving smoothly. She was wonderful to work with! And last, but not least, my captain, Carlos, was fun and energetic. He even helped my husband and I find a second to eat, which was perfect, because we would have forgotten otherwise! I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I just want to relive my wedding over and over again! The venue for a wedding at the Long Island Aquarium was magnificent !! The staff was attentive and did an adequate job. Now onto the food. - the cocktail hour was sub standard. The table that offered the kebobs such as, chicken, shrimp, beef, and scallops was unimpressive picture this, little meat on kebabs with no vegetables all on a little hot plate. Every one i ate was either warm or cold with absolutely no taste!! Normally i would be going back for seconds and thirds. Instead I was praying I wouldn't throw up!The cold area was adequate. The bartending was excellent!The dinner salads was so small that I finished eating my salad in 2 bites. - main course buffet- the white rice that they served was not cooked. Yes not cooked!! Can you believe this? All the gust complained!! Maybe they thought we were going to throwing it at the Bride and Groom?Chicken was cold no taste and flat like a pancake Salmon- had taste but was very small, warm and overlooked. The short ribs was the only serving that had some taste to it. It was on par with an order at the Olive Garden. The best part of the meal was the ice cream bar. MoreGuests enjoyed that then the entrees!My advice would be to use this venue for a wedding but make sure you get a professional to cater it.

Atlantis was the perfect choice for my ceremony and reception. The staff was absolutely amazing and the venue was gorgeous. I had a December wedding and the holiday decorations were minimal and classy, just as I hoped. The staff waited on me and my husband all day, we always had a drink in our hands, and they made us our dinner plates and even packed up leftovers for us! Our maitre'd Lori had everything running smoothly from the order of my ceremony, to lining the bridal party up to be announced, to getting the right people for photos. My bridal attendant Ashley was perfect, she was never in my way but somehow popped up everytime I needed her. She helped me with my bustle, refilled my drinks, gave me water, everything. This was the best experience and I would reccommend anyone to get married here. Ashley even helped me and my husband to our hotel room with our gifts, envelopes, and leftovers. The staff were flawless. The planning process was also a piece of cake, Caryn and Bryan always responded in a timely manner and honored all of my wishes.

We got so many compliments and a lot of people, young and old, said it was the best wedding ever.Our wedding was detailed - I added a lot of things; favors in alphabetical order, things for each table, signs - I'm sure I was annoying in my details but they didn't bat an eye. Day of everything was exactly as we wanted it. The space is gorgeous. We had the ceremony in the Sea Star lobby with the grand staircase - walking down the staircase was such an awesome experience. Our reception was in the Sea Star Ballroom and out After Party was in the Aquarium itself. Our guests got a taste of the Aquarium upon arrival (the Manta Ray Tank) and then were amazed by the sharks and sea life after the reception. The food is outstanding! I'm a foodie and I loved my dinner and the appetizers I was able to try. Guests complimented the food a ton. We had the mini dessert hour, which included a huge array of cookies, pies, cakes, cordials and an ice cream sundae bar (another enormous hit)Bridal attendants, management and staff were available and easy to work with. Day of, there was always someone helping out and keeping us on track (and getting me drinks :) )After the wedding everything was neatly packed up for us and brought to the Hyatt hotel next door. Craig was a wonderful salesman - he's really the reason as to why we chose this venue. However, prior to the wedding, we did have some issues in preparing for the wedding. Certain information should have been provided to us early (such as the fact that food favors are not allowed) and the venue is not cheap - unlike other venues that will charge you 1/3 for a child, this venue charges you 50% (for example). Also, unlike many venues, if you have folks who can't make the reception, they make you pay full price 8 days prior (many venues make you pay that day). They won't be giving you your money back, even if you've met their minimum. The \"extra\" amenities you may want are charged - good example of nickel and diming you. Be sure to really ask questions, and really read over your contract. But can't complain about the overall result - the food was incredible and the venue is very unique.

Be sure to really ask questions, and really read over your contract. But can't complain about the overall result - the food was incredible and the venue is very unique.

I wish you could give zero.I recently attended a family wedding at this event. The staff is horrible. A staff member (a British woman, in case management is reading this) was appallingly rude to my niece and her cousin who are 12 and 11 years old respectively. She yelled at them in a very loud voice and told them both \"get back in that room and behave yourself or I will throw you out.\" She scared both of them. My niece is the god daughter of the groom and her cousin is the son of the groom and the best man. They were both very upset by her behavior. Also the food was a awful. And as I went to leave 15 minutes before the event ended the valet and the coat check were nowhere to be found.

My husband and I got married on April 23 and we had our reception in the aquarium at Atlantis. We met because we both studied marine science in college, so we knew from the very beginning of the planning process that we wanted to incorporate an aquarium or beach into our special day. We decided on Atlantis for our reception site. Since our very first meeting with a sales rep (Patty) to our last dance under the big shark, we couldn't have been happier with the care and attention paid to the most important day of our life by Atlantis. Our guests were struck not only by the beautiful space and being surrounded by marine life, but by the quality of the food and professionalism of the staff. Planning the day was also relatively stress-free (as much as planning a wedding could be, I guess). Our questions were always answered in a timely manner (thanks especially to Jayme) and all of our requests were accommodated. My husband and I are vegan so they worked with us to plan a unique menu that included more veggie-friendly dishes. These people run a tight ship and really seem to know what they are doing when it comes to planning events. I couldn't imagine a better outcome for our wedding. If you decide to go with Atlantis, you will not be disappointed!

We had our Wedding here 6-5-16, and it was amazing!!! The whole team was outstanding - Craig Alexander, who we worked with from the beginning always felt like family and any questions we would have he would always address. Jayme who detailed the wedding was excellent and again any questions we had she always addressed. The day of wedding we worked with Carlos who was the captain, Lori who was the maitre d’, and Ashley who was the bridal attendant. They were great and kept the day running smoothly. There was never an empty glass, all 3 came over to us if we needed anything, and the guests were really happy. The day we got married it did rain, however, all of the aqaurium is beautiful, and again, the set up was perfect and on point and it turned out to be better than our original set up had it not rained. I also just wanted to give a special shout out to my bridal attendant Ashley - prior to the ceremony, we took pictures outside where it was very humid, my hair was a mess, she came to the rescue prior to the ceremony, she re-curled my hair, and was able to get the veil on! She also saved us some food and took everything from the bridal sweet to the hotel for us. Ashley went above and beyond for us that day and we will always be greatful for that. All in all if you want something different, yet still the \"long island\" type wedding, this is the way to go!

Atlantis was the perfect location for us to get married because we both adore aquariums. Our ceremony was in the lobby of the Sea Star Ballroom and it was set up to perfection. All the details we wanted were there and more. The processional was down the grand staircase and it really was a grand entrance. Our cocktail hour was in the Terrance Room and it was stunning. There was so much food and it was all delicious! Our guests could not stop talking about the food even months after we got married. Our reception was in the ballroom and it was magical. \r\rLori made sure everything went according to plan and she was so well organized. She knows exactly what she is doing and if anything went wrong, I never had a clue! Everything was beyond perfect. I used to work in catering so I know how hard it can be to make sure everything runs smoothly and the staff at our wedding was the best of the best. \r\rI'm vegan and our chef, Sean, was super accommodating and everything I ate was delicious. I never wanted for anything and my husband and our bridal party were well taken care of. \r\rAdrianne was my bridal attendant and she was always getting me whatever I needed. Even when I did not know I needed it. I always had a fresh drink and food within reach. \r\rCraig and Jayme organized our wedding and they were always available for questions. My guests were even allowed in the aquarium during and after the wedding to check out all the sea life. \r\rMy only complaint is the day went by way too fast. I wish we could get married here again.\r\r

This was our dream venue. We had our reception outside under the pavilion, cocktail hour in the aquarium and the reception in the sea star ballroom. I met with an event coordinator several times before the wedding. I reviewed every detail and outlined the entire wedding day with this individual. The day of the wedding this person was not present. Every single item I had brought in for the wedding decor had been reviewed with that person and since they did not actually work my event all items were placed incorrectly. The reception room was set up with the wrong gift box and all the items that I had gone over and outlined were thrown randomly anywhere some decorations were even missing and not displayed at all. The staff the day of consisted of a maître d, captain and bridal attendant all of which were a complete disappointment. The maître d and bridal attendent were extremely rude to our photographer and DJ. Additionally our bridal attendent was missing in action for the entirety of the day. When my husband and I arrived at cocktail hour we were forced to wait in lines for drinks and food. Not to mention I had to walk around carrying my dress with a detachable train waiting over 20 mins for someone to radio the bridal attendent to help me get my dress bustled. The staff most certainly did not make us feel like the guests of honor. This is a stunning venue however the service we received on our special day was very poor.

An amazing team of people who genuinely care about your big day. They truly made me feel special and provided on hands support during the crazy times and the days I couldn't tell my left from my right. They were patient and understanding.They provided vendor packages that were inclusive of great dj's, florists, photographers, bakers. My event detailer Jayme was the best. The food was great , it did not taste like the typical \"banquet food\". It was well prepared and delicious. I have received so many compliments about the wedding but I cannot take all the credit. I have to hand some to team at Atlantis who treated my guests well. I highly recommend this place and it is more affordable than you think.

I also had missing pieces off my cake that they forgot to put on and when I told them at the beginning about it nothing got done until right before the cake cutting. I can not say enough how happy I am with the experience we had with Atlantis Banquets and events. We had an afternoon wedding in the Seastar Ballroom. The planning was so easy. Our questions were always answered quickly and they stayed very consistent. Then, on the day of the wedding, I had zero concerns! I had a great bridal attendant who was so nice and took care of EVERYTHING (along with the rest of the staff). The room was set up beautiful, they set up everything as I had asked and more! Then they made sure everything ran so smoothly! I never had to worry! The staff was extremely kind and helpful to all the guests. And the food was amazing! I had guests tell me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! And we were so full! \rAs the bride, I could not have asked for anything more. The venue was beautiful, the staff was more than accommodating and kind, the food was incredible and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I would recommend having a wedding at the Seastar ballroom at Atlantis Banquets and events to anyone who would listen!

We had a wonderful wedding, my family and friends absolutely loved it and had a great time. The only three things that were not perfect was we were unable to bring our own beer in or it was a ridiculous amount of money to do so, we were unsure how to start the event ( took a bit for someone to direct us where to go) however was incredibly wonderful after that. Adrienne was fantastic and was so helpful ( our bridal attendant) and one of the tables escort cards were not put out right away. These were very small things that occurred and besides that the event was amazing, and unique in which all of the guests will talk about for awhile. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else!!!! My husband and I loved this venue! The staff there is amazing and they were always there when we needed them. Very friendly and reasonably priced for the amount that you are getting. I wouldn't have changed anything about my wedding. The food is amazing as well. They really treated us like we were royalty!

The day as a whole far exceeded our expectations from the moment we were greeted with champagne and strawberries, experienced a unique cocktail hour in the aquarium, and then enjoyed the reception in the beautiful upstairs room overlooking the Peconic River. The service provided by all of the staff was exceptional beginning with the initial planning with Craig Alexander to the actual wedding day with Lori, Jayme and Jacquie as well as all of the other staff who were attentive professionals that made the celebration run smoothly. The food served throughout the event was delicious and seemed endless. At the end of the evening our out of town guests had the convenience of staying next door overnight at the Hyatt Place East End. From the start, it was a dream come true. Craig made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. Even when our wedding date had to be pushed back 1 year, he was very accomodating. He arranged for a sea lion kiss for us as a gift. The food was so delicious! The staff, especially the maitre-d and bridal attendant were professional, attentive, and bent over backwards to make our day special and keep everything flowing and smooth. All of our guests have repeatedly told us how impressed they were with Atlantis and how they all had a great time. Even Java (the sea lion) was the epitome of professional and fun! I con't recommend Atlantis more. Unique. Gorgeous fish. Beautiful grounds. So much flexiblity in designing your wedding/function. Fun!!!

From the start, it was a dream come true. Craig made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. Even when our wedding date had to be pushed back 1 year, he was very accomodating. He arranged for a sea lion kiss for us as a gift. The food was so delicious! Atlantis Aquarium did an incredible job with our wedding. My Husband and I wanted a beach wedding but couldnt find the perfect beach and then we worrying about weather, we then thought of the aquarium because this way we could have the beach theme and feel without sacrificing for poor weather and now can have a private ceremony and reception. Overall the Aquarium met all of our needs and request! It turned out even more beautiful then we could ever imagine (and lucked out with gorgeous weather) I highly recommend them for their staff, food (which was amazing) and how they handled everything! Thank you so much for giving us the best wedding I didnt know we could have!

We had our cocktail hour in the aquarium and reception in the ballroom. All of the guests loved how unique this was. I recommend the two locations if you are wanting both something unique, but still want to be traditional for the dinner. The planning process went well. Our wedding was may 10th, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. My husband and I started out looking to do a destination wedding, but realized we wanted to include people that we knew may not be able to afford such. So we started looking a little more local and stumbled upon the Long Island Aquarium. Initially, we were attracted to the place for the obvious reasons that it was an interesting and unique venue in a quaint little Long Island town. We ended up loving the place after we decided on this venue because of the quality of the service and the openness of the staff. Craig Alexander was extremely attentive to our needs as was the rest of his staff on our big day and everyday leading up to it. The food, even though we barely got to eat because of the usual wedding mingling, was excellent and all of our guests have simply raved about it. Other comments we get from our guests were how different and refreshing it was to be at a wedding where you get to experience beautiful and interesting sea life, instead of just drapes on the walls. My husband and I have not one regret about choosing Atlantis for our wedding and would absolutely recommend this wedding to any couple looking to do something fun and different for their wedding.

We've been coming to the aquarium for years already and we love this place. We love everything about it. Then we heard that they do events and weddings here. We thought that the price would be outrageous. They have very good reviews from a lot of people. So we called and went there. CRAIG was the guy we talked to. HE IS THE BEST EVENT COORDINATOR EVER. He gave us a REALLY good price. AND we can get married inside the SHARK TANK!!! So we booked the place. Again, I thought its going to be very hard coordinating with them, being so far out (we live in queens). But nope, he made it so easy. The wedding day itself, everyone, all the staff, were so nice and so courteous and so attentive not only to us, but also to the details and the guests, and they took care of everything!!! (Bec I have no clue what to do). It was PERFECT! It was GORGEOUS what they did. Never thought my wedding would be that PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL. Everyone loved the shark tank ceremony! Moriches Main Street Flowers (Ms. Judy) did such an amazing job with all of my flowers and the decorations! And they have a really good price too!!! Absolute entertainment and Photos of the heart made this day absolutely perfect. My Bridal attendant was SOOO attentive and SOOO nice! Everyone had such a great time!

The Atlantis opened up a brand new Sea Star Ballroom. Our wedding was everything we could have expected and more. Cocktail hour was outside on the river around the Koi Fish Pond. From there everyone walked through the aquarium to get to the Ballroom. I still have guests raving about how amazing the dinner was and the food at cocktail hour. They are also blown away by the service. There was a waiter per table and constantly refilling drinks and providing anything my guests needed. It is a gorgeous ballroom and would recommend this location. What I liked was that they only do one party at a time, so I was the only bride and it was somewhere different from where everyone else has their receptions. It was more money than the other locations, but you get an amazing atmosphere, staff, and food!

We were planning a small wedding of 50 people, so we were looking for something different than your standard catering hall. From our 1st visit to Atlantis, we KNEW this was definately the place for our wedding. Patti and the entire staff were so helpful throughout the planning process. On the day of our event, the staff was ready to accomodate all our needs. We had our ceremony outside on the Pavillion and our cocktail hour/reception in the Shark Room and Colluseum. The atmosphere was breathtaking!!! The way they light up the aquarium for nighttime is so beautiful. We have some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen! I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and willingness to help of the entire staff, the DELICIOUS food and desserts that our guests cannot stop raving about, and the beautiful atmosphere that helped to complete our most special day. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Atlantis if you are looking for a place that will top all weddings your guests have ever attended!

The staff was absolutely amazing from beginning to end, they were so attentive to our needs, and the needs of our parents. All the staff were incredibly pleasant, and very accommodating. We can't say enough about the absolutely incredible food, and our guests could not stop mentioning how unique the venue was. We are still on cloud nine, thanks to this absolutely wonderful day. The Hyatt next door was equally on par with their wonderful service, incredibly accommodating staff, and beautiful rooms. This place is definitely the number one wedding pick on the island! It started with my husband and I being at the aquarium and meeting Craig Alexander (banquet manager) He showed us the entire aquarium, and even taught us about all the fish and sea life. Never would have thought of doing my wedding there until then. The new Hyatt Place hotel had just opened and the Sea Star Grand ballroom was still under renovation, but we got to see the progress. Once it was finished we went to see it and it took our breath away. We knew this was definatley where we wanted to get married. We had our ceremony in the shark room, which was perfect. And our reception in the Sea Star. Everything was perfect. All of our guests raved about the food and the service was outstanding. No one ever had an empty drink. Patti was my bridal attendent and I couldnt've done it without her. She made sure everything was perfect and if it wasn't she did whatever she had to do to make sure I was happy. Our guests stayed in the Hyatt Place and loved it. The rooms were gorgeous, and the service was great. We could not have asked for more for our wedding day. I never pictured myself getting married at a typical wedding venue. When I visited Atlantis Marine World aquarium back in 2008 and found out they did weddings, I knew I'd be back to book the place one day!\rYou get what you pay for, and more! I cannot say enough about the service Atlantis provided from our first meeting up until the final minute of our wedding when our bridal attendant walked us back to our hotel next door so we wouldn't have to carry anything. Bob and the entire staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were attentive to all of our needs and quick to answer any of our questions. I never felt like our wedding was \"any other wedding\" to them.\rSome people may be concerned that the dining is in one area and the dancing in another. Let me tell you, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Guests that didn't wish to dance had a relaxing place to talk. Guests that wished to shake it on the dance floor didn't feel that they had an audience watching. The set-up is flawless.\rTrust me, your guests will never forget your wedding; from the sophisticated ambiance and personal service, to the impecable and upscale food selections which surpass any banquet hall I've been to. The wedding cake, (which was included) was delicious! Who gets compliments about how delicious a wedding cake was? We did! I am still hearing compliments about our wedding even weeks later. Atlantis Marine World is perfect for anyone looking to have a very different and unique experience. It was a little far from us (over an hour) but definitely worth the trip! The staff there is amazing, very attentive and will get you anything you need. I got a lot of compliments about the food and enjoyed it quite a bit myself! Everyone i spoke to had a blast and thought it was awesome being in the aquarium. The only downside is it's a bit pricey, but worth it if you're looking for something different!

While our wedding was already fated to be a memorable one given the conflict of the threatening hurricane, the atmosphere, service and unique experience your facilities and staff provided allows it to be remembered for more than the ill fated weather! Atlantis is more than a catering hall; I feel it would be a disservice to call it that. Upon entering the establishment our guests were instantly transported to a magical fabled location. The overwhelming abundance of quality food and drink was unspeakable; with many guests pondering if a dinner was indeed to follow, how would they be able to consume it with the little room left in their stomach? The unique scenery left guests floored as they circulated around the room to see the various marine exhibits.\rWhile one may feel that it would be hard to contend with the aquarium, the Sea Star Ballroom left those in attendance in a similar state. As cocktail hour ended, gasps and further words of excitement followed as guests were escorted by staff up the marble staircase to the reception area. The grand chandelier held a place in various conversations throughout the evening; particularly given its blue lit lights which were questioned as coincidence or staged to match the bridal colors. Through the evening, our guests continuously raved about the impeccable service that all tables- not just those on the head tables- had. They rarely had a drop left in their glass before a new one appeared! Along with the vast quantity of food, they were thoroughly impressed with the quality; many unable to fathom how it could be made on such a large scale at such a high excellence. While many guests made their way to the dance floor, others took in the various sites from windows and the balcony; a few found more enjoyment from the bar (many wondering if they drank too much or if it did indeed light up under the marble!) It was a great honor to be the first wedding in the new facility.\rI am embarrassed that I do not recall her name, but I did want to highlight an individual who made mine and my husband’s evening spectacular; our bridal attendant. From her positive, uplifting words regarding the passing the weather to the attentive service, she was amazing. She consistently made sure that every detail and need was completed and assisted in any way needed. At the end of the night, I was surprised to find that she had all our belongs- glasses, cake server, pictures from cocktail hour- set aside in a bag for us. \rThe various correspondences from those in attendance after the event is a further testament to the success of our wedding due to Atlantis; I can not count how many people called to rave about it! Even a few of my unmarried friends stated that they will definitely be calling in the future to host their wedding there. \rAgain, thank you for the success of our wedding and for making our dream wedding more than we could have anticipated.\r

Along with the vast quantity of food, they were thoroughly impressed with the quality; many unable to fathom how it could be made on such a large scale at such a high excellence. While many guests made their way to the dance floor, others took in the various sites from windows and the balcony; a few found more enjoyment from the bar (many wondering if they drank too much or if it did indeed light up under the marble!) It was a great honor to be the first wedding in the new facility.\rI am embarrassed that I do not recall her name, but I did want to highlight an individual who made mine and my husband’s evening spectacular; our bridal attendant. From her positive, uplifting words regarding the passing the weather to the attentive service, she was amazing. She consistently made sure that every detail and need was completed and assisted in any way needed. At the end of the night, I was surprised to find that she had all our belongs- glasses, cake server, pictures from cocktail hour- set aside in a bag for us. \rThe various correspondences from those in attendance after the event is a further testament to the success of our wedding due to Atlantis; I can not count how many people called to rave about it! Even a few of my unmarried friends stated that they will definitely be calling in the future to host their wedding there. \rAgain, thank you for the success of our wedding and for making our dream wedding more than we could have anticipated.\r

My husband and I couldn't have picked a more perfect place for our wedding. The venue is magical and can be divided in countless ways to accommodate for different cocktail hour or ceremony locations. Craig Alexander, the man who worked with us on the package put it best..\" its only limited by your imagination\". I never heard the word \"no\". The staff was very accomodating, and the food was very good. Guests were raving about the ceremony we had outside on the pavilion overlooking the peconic river, the sunset cocktail hour around the koi pond and the reception in the main room with all the different fish tanks. My nephew was so happy that his table was next to the octopus tank. What fun! And to top it all off, the groom and I got sea lion kisses! And we also had great photo opportunties in the new butterfly exhibit.\r The Hyatt East End, next door to the aquarium was able to block rooms for the family so everyone could relax and not worry about driving home. \r We had such a wonderful time. The staff and venue were exceptional and I wish I could do it all over again! Thanks to everyone at the Atlantis for all your hard work. Our wedding was just like a fairy tale.

We had our wedding at Atlantis this past November. Ron, the maitre de helped us with all of the planning and was incredibly helpful. All of the staff was great. Everyone really enjoyed the food, and was entertained all night walking around looking at the exhibits.

We loved how unique our venue was. The sceanery alone was breath taking and the openess of where the dance floor was and the eating area was perfect. There was really no need to do any decorating because the venue itself was the decoration.;The assistant caterer was not responsive to calls and would take a long time to call back if at all. I would only conduct business with the catering director from now on.
