Atlas 42 is a wedding venue in Glen Allen, VA. Situated in the heart of Innsbrook Shoppes, just minutes from downtown Richmond, this industrial-style venue features all the amenities you need to turn your wedding dreams into reality. They want your special day to be better than great. You’re not just stepping into any old fairytale setting; at Atlas 42, you’re invited to celebrate your day your way. It’s your love story, and they want to make the next chapter extra special. Atlas 42 can accommodate parties of 20 to 250 people. The venue comprises 11,000 square feet of indoor event space and features a 14-foot ceiling that gives the space an open, airy feel, perfect for expressing your unique personality and style. The venue offers a choice of layouts. It is divided into two hemispheres, and you can elect to use one or both spaces, depending on the size of your guest list. The hemispheres adjoin a large patio area, which features a picturesque water feature, cushioned seating, Edison string lighting, and a Bose surround sound system. Atlas 42 is delighted to host bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions, and next-day brunches. Wedding package features include tables, chairs, plates, cutlery, glasses, and audio-visual equipment. Meals are provided by the venue’s talented in-house culinary team. Signature and custom dishes are served with a range of specialty cocktails. If you take care of the florals and any additional decor items you may require, the Atlas 42 team will do the rest. Atlas 42 was exactly what my husband and I wanted in a wedding venue. The modern, industrial design looks gorgeous and can be dressed up even with minimal decor. The food is delicious and the bar, games and sound system make for a great party atmosphere, no matter the event. From the beginning to the end of the planning process, Dawn and Cristina were amazing. They were so organized and helpful. They made sure that we were happy and that our day was exactly what we envisioned, and more!The day of the wedding went so smoothly and I was completely stress free. I had a huge scare when the strap on my dress broke during photos.. Dawn came to my rescue right away. She sewed my strap back together in minutes and no one ever knew! Cristina made sure everything ran correctly and on time throughout the day and she always made sure we were taken care of.

Atlas 42 was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the initial proposal, to ironing out the smaller details, food, set up/break down, and the event staff — they are top notch. Becca was invested in our day, exceeded our expectations, and made our vision come to life. Our guests were also blown away by the food, atmosphere, and support. Thank you Becca and Atlas 42 staff for making our day better than we could’ve imagined!

I could write a book on how much I adore the staff at Atlas 42! Becca was our coordinator and she was a wealth of knowledge, connecting us with both our DJ and our officiant. She was attentive and detail-oriented, our day turned out so beautifully thanks to her!The food at Atlas was amazing. I have celiac disease and was very worried about finding a caterer who would take my food restrictions into consideration. The last thing I wanted was to get sick on my wedding day. All of the food on our wedding day was gluten-free, including both our cutting cake and the plated sheet cake for everyone else! I didn't get sick at all and I am so so so grateful for Atlas 42's efforts to ensure my food safety. All of our guests loved the food, the smoothness of the event, and the staff at Atlas. Nothing but good things to say!

We would give more stars if we could! Atlas 42 is a beautiful space! The staff was excellent and friendly. The food was delicious! But the reason you get married here is because of Becca Menendez! Wow! She is amazing, she thought of everything before we even knew we needed it! She responded immediately to all our questions and was so hopeful with the floor plan design and flow of the event. We got to just enjoy each other and our guests, get married and party the night away without any worries! Thank you Becca for doing what you do!

I had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding here! Cristina was amazing! She was soooooo on top of EVERYTHING. I was able to reach out to her and get a prompt response every single time. I had a few last minute changes that were really stressing me out and she just swooped in and saved the day! What’s also important is how smooth the actual wedding and reception were! The staff at Atlas 42 were fun and friendly! People are still complimenting how wonderful our wedding was! We got our leftovers and they even saved our cutting cake and cupcakes, which was beyond thoughtful! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Dawn and the entire Atlas 42 team was amazing! We could not have made it through this without them! Dawn was so supportive, helpful and fun to work with and was with me from start to finish. The rehearsal and wedding were perfect! The food was insanely delicious, the vibes were happy and light, and they all worked to make this day amazing for us. I would recommend Atlas 42 a million times over to anyone and everyone! Per the groom- \"Our wedding couldn't have gone any better anywhere else! They had amazing food, a great drink selection and they put up with all our craziness! They were perfect!\" Thank you Dawn and all of the Atlas 42 crew!

My Google review has a much more detailed review but here are a few reasons why I was disappointed and wouldn't personally recommend this venue;1. Our point of contact person was switched from someone we had been working with for 5-6 months to someone we didn't even know the week before the weekend.2. The venue itself was allowed to get extremely hot which was uncomfortable for me and my guests and caused my desserts to melt. 3. The venue left my desserts on their stands with no way to cut or serve them and I had to track down the event planner to get it taken care of. This was extra frustrating bc I had previously gone back and forth with our previous point of contact about this and thought it was resolved. 4. Throughout the evening, the EP never checked in with us to see how we were doing or if there was something we needed. 5. They lied to us about our leftover food. We were told that we could have the leftovers early in the planning process, but they didn't box anything up ahead of time or after. When asked about it, they said they had thrown it away and did not box up leftover food that had been served buffet style. When we were packing up though, we saw two large containers of food and when we asked about it, found out that they gave it away to staff.5. I shared all of these concerns with my original point of contact who said they'd look into it, but we never heard back. Overall their behavior made me feel like we were taken advantage of and once the event was over and they had our money, they didn't feel the need to extend any additional professional courtesy to address our concerns.

When we first toured Atlas 42, I was already able to picture us getting married here! We loved the details of the unique tiled bar, the decor and atmosphere, the gorgeous courtyard area, and all the little extra details our wedding coordinator put in for us! She allowed for us to bring in our custom hexagon arch, a hanging wisteria frame inside above our sweetheart table, and she even put out extra decor they had to match my theme! My husband and I and all the guests were commenting how delicious all the food was! I can't say enough how happy I was and all the little things they did for us to make sure we enjoyed our wedding day!! I can't wait to see pictures! 4-25-2021
