We had a fantastic experience with Aurora Colony Vineyards & Winery. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! Great communication with the venue coordinator from the day we booked the venue until the day of our wedding. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and superb wine. The wedding party suites to get ready in were also beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! Highly recommend this venue. Reviewed on 12-11-2023

We had a wonderful experience and perfect wedding day at Aurora Colony Vineyards. We were married here in September and from our very first email to them through the end of our wedding day, we had an extremely positive experience. We worked with their venue manager, Alyse, and I could not speak more highly of her and our experience working with her. She was so professional, kind and responsive, which when you're planning a wedding and trying to coordinate most things around your venue, was SO helpful. The getting ready suites on site were perfect for our needs and fit our group comfortably (5 in each suite). The grounds themselves are gorgeous and because of that we needed minimal decor/extras. This was the only venue that I didn't feel like the indoor option was second best. It was just as beautiful as the amphitheater space. The wine was great with many options to choose from and their tasting room staff were just as wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend Aurora Colony Vineyards. Reviewed on 10-10-2023

ACV is beautiful, the outdoor amphitheater is wonderful for an outdoor ceremony, and the reception hall is perfect for indoor/with outdoor patio access and the A/C was great for a hot August wedding. Alyse the wedding coordinator is very helpful and responsive and the staff was wonderful each time we visited, and the wine selection is great too. Our wedding at ACV was everything we hoped for. Lauren Nowak(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-05-2022 My dream was to have our reception at a vineyard. Being in May, we wanted to make sure there was a covered option in case of rain. ACV was one of the only venues we found that could accommodate 150+ guests in an indoor/outdoor venue within a 30 minute drive from Portland. Sherri from ACV was great! She was very quick to respond to our many questions and we had a fun time tasting wine for the wedding. She was also present during our reception pouring wine to guests and helping coordinate with vendors. Dancing & Speeches: Due to the possibility of rain during our wedding, our DJ set up inside. It was difficult to hear with the acoustics of the chapel; however, we have since been to another event in the chapel and they have added sound boards to help the acoustics. Food & Drink: We were given a list of 4 caterers to choose from. As far as drinks, we had Solute Mobile Bar serve cocktails during cocktail hour and brought in our own beer and seltzer to serve in addition to ACV wine. Reviewed on 10-07-2022
Maile Robinson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-07-2018 Seriously best venue ever! It was also our most affordable and they have great wine! I feel like all the other venues to toured there were too many rules of what you could and could not do, but Aurora Colony Vineyards was perfect and beautiful. All the chairs and tables were provided with the rental and they have air conditioned bridal and groom suites for the day-of included. Brides with a train on their dress....THIS is your venue. Once you see the aisle you’ll know right away. It is to die for!!! Seriously everything was amazing at this venue, bathrooms provided for guests and they have preferred vendors for catering they work very closely with but you can have any caterer with a fee. There are different options for how you want to set up your reception. The only downfall of this venue to me, was that you only get a 9 hour window and you have to add each additional hour for a fee. If you have a wedding planner than that’s plenty of time, but if you do a lot of planning yourself with friends and family doing a lot of the work, having more time is necessary for the set-up and that kinda of sucked to have to pay for a few hours earlier when obviously the venue wasn’t going to be utilized anyways. Just seems like they try to get your money that way. Truly though that was so minor compared to all the amazing things they provided. They also have big tents for shade for hot weather or rain, for an additional fee. Definitely recommend to anyone with 250 or less people!Thank you Aurora Colony Vineyards! Reviewed on 16-08-2018
Marc Willcuts(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-07-2017 I recently had my wedding here on July 15th and when I returned home from my honeymoon I was very disappointed to learn how this venue treated my wedding coordinator, my other vendors, and my friends and family helping with the wedding. In a nut shell:Jennifer and John are both extremely hard to get ahold of to help with questions. There is not an on site receptionist, so the person that does answer the phone does not know many answers. This venue is not a lot of bang for your buck. They upcharge on everything. Outside catering, use of the venue for longer than 9 hours, using table and chairs etc. They are extremely disorganized. Not once but twice I got a receipt written on a napkin for my payments of over 1,000 dollars. They absolutely do not take fault for anything they have done wrong. My coordinator gave multiple maps as to where we would like the chairs for the wedding and they still did them incorrectly. Which resulted in my husband and the groomsmen fixing everything 2 hours before the wedding. The only thing they had going for them was that the venue is pretty. Had I had to deal with how they treated my coordinator the day of I'm sure I would have been a stressed out, in tears bride. Would not recommend to any of my friends looking for a venue. Michelle Vandenburg(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-07-2016 My advice for anyone looking for a venue is do not use this one!! This was the worst experience of my entire wedding planning.Jennifer seems great until you book the venue then from there everything goes down hill. Not only did she tell me she that I should hire a coordinator to measure the platform at her venue, but at the same time she neglected to remember that I had a coordinator and she had introduced herself to Jennifer four times previously.Jennifer couldn't remember the rules to the contract that I signed and tried to tell me at first that I could not have the catering company I had hired, once she reviewed the contract she realized she could not in force, and well now she is going to look at having them as a preferred vendor. Not only was Jennifer not helpful with anything, she was unprofessional, and extremely hard to work with.If I would have had the opportunity I could have found a different venue, but by the time she started to show her true colors It was too late to find another venue with an opening. The day of my rehearsal Jennifer, interrupted my rehearsal practice to get her questions answered. The contact also has a lot of hidden fees like insurance, permits, etcs. The day of my wedding went well, she did have all my items set up and we had to do minimal moving or correction. However the father of the groom lost his very special watch the day of the wedding. He called the venue the next day, no one would return his calls. He called at least four times and never had a returned call. He finally asked for Jennifer's number, and finally almost three weeks after the wedding got ahold of her.Her response to him about his watch was,\"if we see if we will let you know, but we will not look for it.\"Over all the venue is beautiful and the owner is very nice. However working with Jennifer is not worth it. She is lazy and unhelpful and for spending over 7k at her venue I would have expected her to at least offer us the bare minimum which she could not even accomplish. Reviewed on 11-08-2016
Megan Monahan(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-06-2016 Our wedding was in early June and over 100 degrees, which is super rare for the area. Besides that, our wedding day went wonderfully. The venue was beautiful - a little strict on some things which is understandable, but overall a very good choice. The small chapel is beautiful and air conditioned and the bridal suite was wonderful too. Any kind of decor would look lovely, but the venue itself is so beautiful that it really wouldnt need much. Able to bring your own food for a fee, and You get use of the venue from 2 - 11, when everything must be cleaned up. Music must be off by 10. Perfect venue for a large wedding like ours! Breann Curry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-08-2015 This venue was perfect. It was beautiful, quiet, and affordable. We were able to use the whole area and have the venue for 8+ hours.
