Modern Elegant Barn Overlooking Sebago Lake
Booking 2024 & 2025 Dates Autumn Lane Estate sits on a 20 acre property overlooking scenic Sebago Lake. A unique space for a wedding ceremony and reception, the barn is newly constructed with an open floor plan and high ceilings. The side of the barn opens to a stone courtyard area ideal for cocktail hour or games. Off the back of the barn is a large grass courtyard surrounded by a 6' stone wall and cascading waterfall. Exchange your vows a few steps away from the barn in the wedding field with a backdrop of the lake, rolling hills or surrounding woods. The main package also includes the use of the estate house and couples cottage. The couples cottage is a new modern getaway with a large master bedroom and bath and a porch overlooking Sebago Lake. It also includes a great room equipped for the bridal party to get ready for the big event! The estate house if perfect for the wedding party or family and can sleep 10-14 guests. Guests staying in the estate house or couples cottage also have access to a private section of sandy beach on Sebago Lake during their stay. Weekend packages start at $22,500. The property is also includes a brand new resort space and 10 luxury cabins to accommodate up to an additional 45 guests on the property .

They really have thought of everything to make your experience in Sebago perfect. My husband and I had the most unforgettable wedding at Autumn Lane Estate in June 2023. Huge thanks to owners Mackenzie & Dan for making us feel at home. The lakeside charm, unique resort area, and versatile barn created an enchanting setting. The grounds and Grove provided an ideal ceremony backdrop, while onsite lodging and the exceptional team's hospitality made every moment memorable. For spring/summer weddings, the resort area gives off a tropical getaway vibe, perfect for our welcome party and post-wedding brunch. Guests loved the trendy bungalows and chic cafe/bar. We can't recommend this venue enough; if we could, we'd say \"I do\" there again and again. Kudos to everyone at Autumn Lane for orchestrating our perfect day!

We got married here in September and Autumn Lane is stunning! Mackenzie and Dan were excellent from setting up our tour to beyond our wedding. Their staff is some of the hardest working and truly love what they do. They were so accommodating for our guests and assisting without asking. The cabins on site helped make the wedding more intimate by celebrating with our closest family and friends. Everything was perfect and our guests still rave about how beautiful the venue was. Autumn Lane is what wedding dreams are made of! The laidback luxury vibe is exactly what we wanted in a venue. We were considering eloping in Hawaii but also wanted family to join us for our big day. The compromise was an intimate weekday wedding on the shores of our favorite lake and Autumn Lane helped us make that happen. -- We were able to configure farm tables in the barn for dinner to seat 40 people, with enough space for dancing too! The Pig Kahuna catered with an amazing pig roast and my dream wedding cake was brought to life by Baked With Love. The Nest (Autumn lane’s cafe/bar) provided delicious cocktails.-- It was an absolutely perfect day - even though 2023 was full of rainy days, we were blessed with perfect weather. Fantastic opportunity to have photos taken right on the beach and enjoy stunning scenery all around! We ended the night the only way deemed acceptable in an area full of campgrounds - with a campfire! -- The social media reel created by venue staff less than 24 hours after our wedding was incredible. We couldn't stop watching it! An added benefit that was priceless.-- Mackenzie, Dan, and the rest of the Autumn Lane team were wonderful to work with and very accommodating with our 4-month turnaround. Only wish we could do it all over again!

The staff at Autumn Lane were amazing and have thought of every detail to make your wedding weekend perfect. Mackenzie & Dan have put so much money and time back into the property that every time we went for a visit, we were surprised with new additions and updates. The weather on our weekend wasn't the most ideal but the staff there went above and beyond to ensure that everything still went smoothly. As a result, we ended up having our ceremony in the barn and it was really cozy and lovely!

Autumn Lane was the perfect venue for our fairy tale wedding. We booked Autumn Lane 2 years in advance and it was incredible watching all the positive changes Mackenzie and Dan made to the place. It was definitely worth the wait! They hired a fantastic staff to help facilitate everything for the weekend and have an unbelievable social media team. The venue is beautiful and has so many different areas that we utilized to showcase its wonder. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful Maine lake wedding!

Autumn Lane was everything my husband and I dreamed of for our perfect wedding venue. A friend had shared their instagram with me when I mentioned we wanted a full weekend wedding and we immediately got in touch with Mackenzie and Dan to set up an information call and a visit to the property. It was like talking with lifelong friends - they are the most kind humans ever! When we arrived to the property for our tour, we couldn't believe that it was actually possible to be more spectacular in person than it already looked in images. They have truly created a masterpiece for a wedding venue. Everything detail was so thoughtfully planned out from the couples cottage where the girls got ready, the amenities in the estate house where our parents stayed and the guys got ready, to the reception trio of the barn, patio and yard (complete with a waterfall that has changing colored lights!). Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, they told us that they were adding the cabin space up on the hill and showed us a picture of the blueprint. We trusted them and by the time our wedding came, this space turned out to be the highlight of our wedding. Our guests LOVED their cabins which made them feel like they were glamping on Sebago Lake. The naturally filtering pool with waterfalls and tadpoles was a favorite spot for many to hang out - we even had our rehearsal dinner up on the deck by the pool which gave everyone a perfect view of the property below where we would be celebrating our big day. In addition, our guests still talk about how much they loved having access to the lake with a nice sandy beach and views that went on forever! It was evident that Mackenzie and Dan loved designing and adding each detail to the property. When we were booking, we were processing the expense of renting a full property for multiple days, but it ended up being worth every penny. Dan and Mackenzie made it clear we were working with humans and that they would be available every step of the way to help us navigate the wedding process from recommending other vendors (video, coordinator, etc), to working behind the scenes all weekend long. Throughout our big weekend, Mackenzie, Dan and the entire staff at ALE (shoutout to Sarah & Matt!) were absolute rockstars and made us feel like we were the most important wedding to ever set foot on the property (keep in mind this property was built for their own wedding!). The entirety of the process from date of booking to the moment we packed up and said our goodbyes at the end of our wedding, it felt like we were working with friends. They were so accommodating and made us feel so at ease. They entertained all of our crazy ideas including letting me jump off the dock in my wedding dress! The whole weekend felt like a vacation away with a sprinkle of wedding for all of our guests. Dan & Mackenzie are the ultimate wedding venue dream team and I will HIGHLY recommend ALE to everyone searching for the perfect place to say \"I do\"!!!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Dan, Mackenzie, and the entire Autumn Lane staff! They made our wedding weekend run so smoothly and were always there if we need anything throughout the weekend. Autumn Lane Estate was truly the venue of our dreams. With the lake front access, the new addition of cabins and the Nest on property in the resort space, there isn’t anything this venue is missing. We spent an amazing long weekend celebrating with our friends and family and truly could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. The “weekend wedding” made it possible to really spend time with all of our guests and made it so that on our wedding day we didn’t feel rushed trying to make sure we saw every person. Autumn Lane was our wedding venue this past October, and we’re so glad we chose it! The venue has so much to offer but is also a blank slate to fit any vision. All our guests loved the venue and the views of the property. Some of our guests stayed in the cabins, and it was great to have them so close by to hang out or lend a hand. Mackenzie & Dan are truly some of the best people! They were very responsive to all our emails and questions from the first tour to the end of our wedding day. We’re very happy to have spent our wedding weekend at Autumn Lane and can’t recommend it enough!

The best decision you will ever make! Dan and Mackenzie (owners) are the most wonderful, accommodating, and friendly people. Right from the first day we stepped on property they made us feel comfortable and supported (even throughout covid!). We couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere but Autumn Lane. Every piece of the property is thoughtfully created and perfect. From the styled Couples Cabin, to the Main House where all of our party stayed, it was the perfect spot for our celebration. The flow of the property and thoughtful amenities truly put this place over the top- along with the breathtaking views of and access to the lake. There is absolutely nothing missing from this property, Dan and Mackenzie are magic makers!

Having our wedding at the Autumn Lane Estate was by far the most amazing experience we could have asked for. We had our families stay onsite for the weekend to make a mini vacation out of our special weekend. Beautiful view and scenery of Sebago Lake, the most personable & genuine owners (Dan & Mackenzie Bowe) always willing to go the extra mile, and the perfect canvas to allow your wedding vision to come to life. We had our families stay onsite for the weekend to make a mini vacation out of our special weekend. Beautiful view and scenery of Sebago Lake, the most personable & genuine owners (Dan & Mackenzie Bowe) always willing to go the extra mile, and the perfect canvas to allow your wedding vision to come to life. We would not have wanted to commit to a lifetime of love and happiness anywhere else!

Due to covid-19 my husband and I decided to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021. We wanted everyone to have the chance to get vaccinated before coming to our wedding. Dan and Mackenzie were able to work with us to move our wedding date. They answered every question promptly and checked in with us from time to time. Originally we had planned to get married outside, but it had started to rain that day. Decorations were quickly moved inside the barn and it was breathtaking. My lanterns lined the aisle and it looked so magical! Sarah helped out my day of coordinator and made things run smoothly behind the scenes. The Estate house was fantastic for my family to stay in and our hair and makeup team was appreciative of the spacious getting ready area in the bridal cottage. We had a tent set up for dinner right behind the barn and the barn was cleared for dancing during dinner time. Somehow, everything ran exactly on time. I am normally a very anxious person, but to my surprise I only felt calm and blissful all day. Molly, the social media coordinator for the venue was even kind enough to send us copies of the photos she took. Overall, we had a blast and our guests kept saying that our wedding was a ton of fun. I couldn't recommend Autumn Lane Estates enough!

I had my wedding at Autumn Lane Estates in September of 2021. All of the communication leading up to the weekend was incredible and Mackenzie and Dan were so thoughtful and helpful. The biggest reason we picked the venue was to have a place to have every part of the wedding in the same location and to be able to house the wedding party all on site. The big and little thoughts that are spread throughout the entire venue do not go unnoticed. The entire team made our wedding weekend an absolute dream and I am so incredibly thankful for them all!

Our wedding at Autumn Lane Estate was an absolute dream! The whole weekend was perfect for our wedding party to stay right on site. The owners have put so much thought into the entire venue, from the couples cottage for getting ready, the estate house had everything we need, the patio with beautiful string lights and fire pit, to the gorgeous barn perfect for dancing the night away. The owners and their team were so helpful and supportive during the whole planning process and the wedding weekend. My husband and I, along with our guest all can agree that it was the best wedding we've all been to!

Our wedding at Autumn Lane Estate was an absolute dream! The whole weekend was perfect for our wedding party to stay right on site. The owners have put so much thought into the entire venue, from the couples cottage for getting ready, the estate house had everything we need, the patio with beautiful string lights and fire pit, to the gorgeous barn perfect for dancing the night away. The owners and their team were so helpful and supportive during the whole planning process and the wedding weekend. When we first started looking for a venue to get married at we knew we wanted to have the ceremony outdoors. When we visited the Autumn Lane Estate we knew the moment we arrived that it was where we wanted to get married. From the beautiful barn with large patio and yard space with a waterfall feature to all the on site amenities it was perfect. From the time we signed up to our actual ceremony (2.5 years, due to COVID postponement) the owners Dan & Mackenzie made so many amazing improvements. Their vision to create this amazing venue is unbelievable. This alone would make us recommend this venue for any couple looking to get married but it was their help and attention to detail before and the day of the wedding that we will always be most thankful for. Due to COVID we had to postpone the wedding from 2020 to 2021. They worked with us to come up with a date and when unforeseen circumstances left us without a day of coordinator they graciously stepped up and helped the day of the ceremony to make sure everything ran smoothly. And if you plan to stay on site for the wedding the house, bridal suite and cottages are all beautiful with all the amenities needed. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. It was such an amazing experience that we will always cherish. Thank you Dan & Mackenzie for creating such an amazing backdrop.

Autumn Lane is also the ideal Covid-friendly venue. Everything was able to be done outside - from the ceremony, to dinner, to dancing. We had the best day even with a smaller than planned guest count. Everyone was so impressed with the property and it was so perfect that we were able to rent out the entire space for 5 days. This is such a special place with so much attention to design and detail. We didn't want to leave!

The Barn at Autumn Lane is a perfect place to have your wedding. The barn and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. I loved how we were able to tailor the decor to exactly what we wanted. It is almost like a blank canvas that you get to paint. Whatever your vision is, you can make it happen at The Barn at Autumn Lane. The bridal cabin is jaw dropping on the inside and is the perfect place for the girls to get ready in the morning. It was so stress free to be able to get ready on site and then get to stay there on the actual wedding night as well. Beyond the gorgeous venue, Dan and Mackenzie are absolutely amazing. They care so much about their clients and we felt their excitement for us the moment we toured the property. They were very helpful in our planning process and even allowed us to come up before our wedding to envision where everything would go. They answer questions promptly and honestly. I can't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else!

To have our Wedding at The Barn at Autumn Lane Was the Best decision ever!!!! My husband and I were looking for a venue a year before our wedding, so we scheduled a tour at the Barn at Autumn Lane in August 2018. Even though the barn wasn’t finished then, we saw the potential and at the end it exceeded our expectations. Dan and Mackenzie are so nice, helpful, easy going, responsive, and always welcoming. It was an absolutely pleasure to work with them.This location is absolutely beautiful, the Barn can be transform from chic rustic to fancy and modern depending on your style. Some of the highlights of this venue are the multiple areas that you can work with to make your wedding as unique and beautiful as you want. There is the Barn, the patio, the waterfall, the lake front, the back yard..... ALL IN ONE PLACE!Also, to have accommodation options in site to stay the night before and after the wedding made it priceless, and took so much stress of my shoulders. (Please check the couple’s cottage, it is AMAZING) It was the perfect spot for us to say “I do” and have a fabulous indoor/outdoor reception. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the people who own it!

Our daughter and son-in-law's wedding at The Barn at Autumn Lane was magical. It couldn't have been more perfect! We rented the whole property for the weekend, including the Barn, the Estate House, the Couples Cottage, and the Bluebird Cottage. Our guests were wowed by the gorgeous grounds, the stylish architecture, and the incredible view of Sebago Lake. Mostly, however, we were treated like the most special family and group of friends on the planet by our hosts, Dan and Mackenzie! They thought of every detail to make our weekend absolutely unforgettable. We had a large reception of 175 under a tent set up with a view of the lake. The ceremony was in the adjacent field with the guests seated on the beautifully crafted benches while Haley and Zack stood under the arbor with a lone tree in the forefront. The patio, complete with a waterfall and stonework, was the ideal cocktail hour setting! And the Barn itself, decorated with draperies and chandeliers, was a dance hall to die for! I am still living in the afterglow of the wonderful wedding we hosted at The Barn at Autumn Lane. It was an investment that will last as a lifetime of treasured memories. Thank you so much!

We are so excited to get married here in September 2019! The Barn at Autumn Lane is a beautiful spot overlooking Sebago Lake. Mackenzie and Dan have done a great job with every aspect of the property and have been very accommodating to work with. Obviously the barn is the main attraction (it's amazing!), but the attention to small detail is really what makes this a one of a kind place! The waterfall, the firepit, and of course the bridal cabin. All perfect. We can't wait to spend our wedding weekend here!

We are so excited to get married here in September 2019! The Barn at Autumn Lane is a beautiful spot overlooking Sebago Lake. Mackenzie and Dan have done a great job with every aspect of the property and have been very accommodating to work with. Obviously the barn is the main attraction (it's amazing!), but the attention to small detail is really what makes this a one of a kind place! The waterfall, the firepit, and of course the bridal cabin. All perfect. We can't wait to spend our wedding weekend here!

With over 200 guests attending, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves during the celebration, whether it was under tented canopies outside, on the courtyard patio, or in the barn dancing the night away to the band that played! With over 200 guests attending, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves during the celebration, whether it was under tented canopies outside, on the courtyard patio, or in the barn dancing the night away to the band that played! Dan and Mackenzie went above and beyond to help make sure our celebration was just how we had imagined it.

The wedding I attended as a guest at The Barn had me wishing I could have my own wedding all over again just so I could have it there! Every inch of the landscape is the perfect backdrop for any bride and groom's special day---from the breathtaking view of the lake, the perfectly landscaped grounds, the beautiful estate and the stunning barn itself...all tucked in and surrounded by Maine's finest trees! You know if your guests fall in love with the place, you picked right!

Such a beautiful venue for a weddings. Loved the chickens were let loose per the request of the bride and groom! The patio and barn are beautiful and the dinner space is charming. I know the vendors personally and think they are very invested and personable!

I could not be more excited to be getting married at the Barn in July of 2019! I can't express how beautiful the whole experience has been so far. From working with Dan and Mackenzie, to the property and all it's features --this is a dream wedding venue for Zack and me. The owners are a hard-working, creative couple who have answers to all of our questions. They have been endlessly accommodating, allowing us to visit multiple times, and willing to help us out with anything we need. They provide lots of options for your wedding weekend, including a bridal cabin that is more like a 5-star suite with all the bridal party necessities -- something I am most excited for! The property itself is simply stunning. It literally took my breath away when we pulled into the driveway, and we had visited before it was even finished!! The venue is versatile and could be used/decorated/designed in so many ways, that no wedding will ever be the same as another. The owners have put hard work into every detail -- seriously the landscaping is to die for. It is exciting and comforting to know that our wedding can be one of a kind and true to our vision, all with the support, and new friendship of Dan and Mackenzie.

The Barn at Autumn Lane is a gorgeous venue. The Estate house is phenomenal, as well as the bridal/grooms cottage. Their landscaping is beautifully placed and complements the space very well! With a beautiful view of Sebago Lake. They also have a beautiful water feature leading from the upper parking lot (that is nearly invisible from the event space) going all the way down to the courtyard adding with a waterfall! On top of all that, but they are great to work with! They always Respond pretty quick, and are very quick to help! My fiancé, Joc, and I Albany wait to have our wedding there in August of 2020!

It is a owned and operated by Dan and Mackenzie, who are just amazing to work with in planning our daughter's wedding at this venue. We booked the wedding with them in August, for next July. They have kept in close touch with us about how the plans are coming along and respond quickly to any questions we have. They have thought of everything from ambiance, to landscaping, to spatial planning for various ideas and sizes of weddings, to parking, to accommodations for the bridal party, and the all- important bathrooms! The view is spectacular for all four seasons. I highly recommend this venue for a Maine- Barn-Indoor/Outdoor wedding (or any event, really!) We can't wait for July 2019 when our daughter and awesome son-in-law-to-be celebrate their union at The Barn at Autumn Lane!

Dan and Mackenzie Bowe (Owner) Hi There! Thanks for checking out our venue! Autumn Lane Estate is a special place to us and a property that has been in the family since the area was settled. We purchased it 2015 and designed this venue while preparing for our own wedding! We put our heart and soul into crafting the space while using our own wedding planning experience to provide unique details with future couples in mind.Now that we have celebrated our own wedding here we are excited to share the venue with others!
