Autumn's Gate Farm is a pastoral wedding venue set close to the luscious Ni River Reservoir in Fredericksburg, VA. Immersed in Washington DC's verdant countryside, this reconstructed barn once housed a popular equestrian center. Today it stands as a chic rustic setting beckoning to-be-weds with its 45 acres of pristine pastures and gorgeous greens for miles. The barn is the jewel of Autumn's Gate Farm, boasting signature settings for each wedding milestone. Overlooking the expansive property, the covered porch is ideal for post-ceremony cocktails or perhaps an appetizer or two. While your guests mingle and relax, you and your loved one can take your pick of backdrops for a romantic photo session. Within the barn, you will find ample space where up to 140 guests can tuck into a seasonal feast before letting loose on the dance floor. The bar area easily allows inside and outside serving, while the balcony provides the ideal spot for throwing the bouquet. Outside, manicured greens offer an open space for tents and lawn games, with generous on-site parking available. Autumn's Gate Farm is pleased to provide couples with exclusive hire and comprehensive wedding packages packed with favorable extras. As part of your booking, you will receive the expert guidance of an on-site event manager well-versed in transforming the space. You will also have access to a host of stylish décor items such as wine barrel tables for cocktails, a ceremony arch, and reception furniture. Each of these items will be set up by the designated event team, with a clean-up service available. To ensure the venue is set to your liking, outside vendors are more than welcome to help make the barn your own. The space can also be used for a rehearsal dinner the evening before.

Sherry and Jim are the most thoughtful, kind venue owners! They let me come countless times to see the venue and bring different vendors and they coordinated feeding the baby cows with my bridal portraits so I could get them in the pics too! The venue is extremely clean with spacious bathrooms for all guests. They also have a whole section of wedding decor that you can use at no additional cost! If you want an incredible venue run by a genuine, amazing couple, this is the place for you!

Our wedding would not have been possible without Autumn’s Gate Farm! We began planning our wedding exactly one year out, and every local venue was booked on our date. All other venues told us we would have to change our date. We found Autumn’s Gate Farm on Facebook a few days after, and we were so lucky that they had our date available! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. They take such pride in their property and ensure every detail (to include flowers in the flower beds along the fencing) is taken care of. The ceremony chairs, reception chairs and tables, linens, sparkler tins, wine barrels, and decor were included for us to use. We were able to come set up Friday afternoon for our Saturday afternoon wedding which made it much less stressful for us. The groomsmen were able to get ready in the area near the garage, and also had plenty of space outside to play cornhole prior to getting ready. We pretty much had free rein of the property to take photos. The greenery, barn, (and really, the entire venue) is stunning which made our photos that much more beautiful. Sherry and Jim were always just a text or phone call away and very responsive. If you are looking for a venue, I cannot recommend Autumn’s Gate Farm enough!

It's been almost 2 months since our wedding at Autumn's Gate and we have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience! Both before and after we booked, the owners were so responsive and available to discuss any questions we had and were so accommodating any time we needed/wanted to stop by. The venue is beautiful, and full of all the little touches and touches that are important when planning and hosting a wedding. All the tables, reception chairs, and ceremony chairs were included with the booking and so beautiful. Linens were also included, along with a variety of decor. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and the groomsmen quarters was well equipped with everything the guys needed. With everything that's included, the price is so reasonable (much more reasonable than other places we researched in the area). Our pictures turned out amazing, with all the wonderful scenery and backdrops, around the venue, and the owners encouraged us to use lots of different areas of the property. Everything was perfect, and we could not have imagined a more beautiful and perfect place to get married - we're so lucky to have come across Autumn's Gate!

Wedding Date 06-06-2022
First let me start off by saying we did not use this venue for a wedding but instead for our daughters Sweet 16! The owners we fantastic to work with and the venue was perfect! We have a large family and there was plenty of room for everyone. The venue provided tables and chairs, access to the bridal suite for fun pictures of the birthday girl and her friends! I would recommend this venue for any party!
