Avalon Legacy Ranch is a wedding venue located in McKinney, TX. This breathtaking structure allows you and your guests to enjoy a truly memorable experience as you celebrate your special day. You can create a private, intimate event at this picturesque property, fit to honor your union. Avalon Legacy Ranch offers you the facilities to celebrate both your ceremony and reception on site. You can begin the day by readying yourself in one of the get-ready suites, spacious enough to accommodate your chosen entourage and hair and makeup teams. Your ceremony can take place in the outdoor chapel seating area, a gorgeous ceremony site that allows you to exchange your vows against a backdrop of pastoral wonder. You can seat up to 200 guests here to bear witness to your ceremony. Following that, you and your guests can enjoy a cocktail reception at the indoor bar of the ranch house, complete with authentic Depression-era signage. This structure can also host your main meal and eveningās entertainment. It is notable for its warm, wooden interior, complete with exposed ceiling beams and polished floorboards underfoot. It also features warm, romantic lighting to cast an inviting glow over your reception. Avalon Legacy Ranch offers a number of services to help your special day go off without a hitch. We absolutely loved having our elopement and later our ceremony celebration at Avalon Legacy Ranch! The entire team there was extremely welcoming and supportive throughout the entire experience from first contact through after the events. The venue is beautiful and very well cared for. Our guest had a wonderful time and loved it as well!

Beautiful wedding, easy planning, great staffAvalon Legacy Ranch is an absolutely stunning venue that requires minimal work on the coupleās end to create a gorgeous wedding, and whose cost comes in well below its value. There are a ton of great, very fairly priced value adds available like a photo trailer, farmhouse tables, and some great onsite decor. The venue is beautiful enough on its own that we skipped a florist. We were able to go very minimal on external decorations, we did some simple centerpieces with things like vases, bird cages and candleholders Avalon had on hand, we paid maybe one vendor delivery fee for linens setup. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect as-is, and needed nothing more from us. The getting-ready space is massive and well-appointed; we had about 15 women between both of our wedding parties and there was plenty of space for everyone to get ready.Debi took us all over the property during our cocktail hour to make sure we got great photos. The venue was well staffed for a very seamless day.

I can't say enough good words about this venue and staff. I've actually made life long friends with Alee (onsite coordinator). I still to this day have people telling me our wedding was one of the most beautiful they've been to and I barely used any decorations, I relied on Avalon Legacy Ranch's natural beauty. There were no regrets having our wedding here. We could even bring our dogs!!

When planning a wedding out of town, an extra layer of nervousness crept in when I was choosing my venue, as I knew I would only have a limited amount of \"hands on\" interactions with my vendors. Avalon Legacy Ranch and their staff made that anxiety fade with every email exchange and phone call. Not only do they have a list of vendors for each component of the wedding, and every one I talked to and used was wonderful. The Team at Avalon was also amazingly accommodating, thorough and expedient. Alee Ladd was my main point of contact as well as the day of coordinator and I couldn't have had a smoother wedding day. I never felt uneasy and all of my questions were answered before I even asked. I never had to wonder about where something was or was going to be. To add an extra cherry on top the venue itself is so beautiful can cut down on costs of decorations, and the selection of in house decor was excellent if you do want to add some pizzaz. I also wanted to give a special thank you and shout out to Heather as she was with me in the dressing room for the final moments before walking out to the ceremony and probably saw me at my most nervous and helped me remain calm enough to walk down the stairs without tripping and for that alone I want to say thank you! Thankfully though I have many things to say thank you for and if they could pack up the experience and travel I would recommend this venue and the wonderful team to every bride I knew! But in leu of that, I will recommend it to anyone that reads this review! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts- The Smiths

We got married here a few weeks ago on a Friday with around 70 guests and it was truly magical! I never had any concerns that they day would go well especially since we also hired Alee as our month & day-of coordinator, who was all around super nice and easy to work with (highly reco!) Our vision was executed near flawlessly and our overall goal for a relaxed day was absolutely achieved. We DID get rain right before our First Look, but the bridal suite was perfectly suitable as a backupā¦and we got more rain right before our scheduled ceremony time, but Alee, Heather & team were still able to help us get married outside after checking the radar and recommending a short delay. And in the meantime, our guests were kept comfortable inside the main house AND happy since we were allowed to open the bar early! Double win and one of the many benefits of getting married here. We'd be remiss if we didnāt mention how beautiful and lush the garden / surrounding trees looked - shoutout to Debi for planting more flowers that morning, we saw you! Overall, ALR has a ton of value for the cost, have relationships with fantastic vendors (used several of them), and is run by a wonderful, kind, and flexible team of women! Thank you again!

My husband and I got married here in February 2022 and it was one of the best decisions we made for our day! Alee was absolutely incredible and supportive with helping us create our vision. She was always prompt, organized, and present throughout the process and was such a calming presence. She even sewed me back into my dress at one point! The space was beautiful and perfect for us to create our dream wedding. Our guests loved the variety of spaces to use. Our favorite feature was the dumbwaiter and we had so much fun sending each other gifts while getting ready. Our photographer enjoyed the wide range of backgrounds to choose from for portraits, wedding party, and family photos. We truly could not have asked for a better and more welcoming venue.

It turned out to be a cold Texas day/night, but the heaters and house offered so much relief to the guests and they truly still had a blast. I attended my friends wedding here and it was stunning! The reception space is very open but also very welcoming all at the same time. I loved the fire pits and the small things to explore on the property. All of the other guests seem to really enjoy the space as well.

Our wedding was 11.19.22 at Avalon Legacy Ranch and it was EVERYTHING! The reason we chose this venue was so our guests could enjoy all the spaces they have to offer without feeling tied to a table all night and it was perfect for that! The ceremony space is so intimate and romantic (even with 160 people). Alee and Debbie who run the venue are 11/10! Their communication was unmatched and so refreshing when dealing with a vendor. We were allowed to bring in our own vendors but used a few of their preferred vendors because they know what good it. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and their staff!

Just had our wedding there on 11/12/2022! Alee and Debi Ladd were the absolute sweetest and most helpful venue owners anyone could possibly ask for. They were responsive to questions in emails and text, and really helped pump you up for the big day. We truly can't thank them enough for their kindness and help. Also, the security we hired (referred by the venue) were SO SWEET and helpful on the wedding day! I wish I had gotten a photo with them, but am happy that I at least got to hug them before we had our sparkler sendoff! Truly a perfect venue with the best people!

This was my absolute dream venue and team to work with. Severe thunderstorms on our wedding day but Alee Ladd, who we also hired for our day of coordinator, was so accommodating and made me feel at ease. Even if you have inclement weather on your special day preventing you from having your wedding outdoors, I still highly recommend this venue and the help of Alee. We received so many compliments on the selection of the venue. Wish I could do it all over and over again!

Beautiful venue! I had my wedding here back in October and it was such a wonderful experience. The owners and staff were very helpful and attentive to my needs and wants. The day of my wedding they took care of all vendors so I had a whole day to prepare with my bridesmaids without any distractions. They even let me have my two dogs participate and be apart of my wedding which was huge since they are my babies!!

Avalon was the best decision we made for our wedding. They made every dream we had for our Christmas wedding come true. It was so stunning and unique! Truly just a breath taking place. Alee and Debi are incredible as well! They were so responsive, accommodating and went above and beyond with every detail! Every time I mentioned to a vendor that this is where we were having our wedding, the vendor would just go on and on about how much they loved Alee and Debi and this venue. Every time I mentioned to a vendor that this is where we were having our wedding, the vendor would just go on and on about how much they loved Alee and Debi and this venue. Everything was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend!

Debi and Alee are Terrific!!! The Venue itself is amazing and for the price, it is a STEAL!! It is private with tons of photo opportunities over acreage of property!! We had a 1920ās deep woods speakeasy Flapper theme the was PERFECT for the Venue! Capable of entertaining large or intimate gatheringsā¦. That Ceremony stained glass outdoors structure and pews are religious and all the same in natureā¦ BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!! The venue can be multi weather permitting with plans for anything that Texas can suddenly bring! Incredibly happy with the service and ambiance of this venue!!!

Avalon Legacy Ranch was the perfect location for my big day. Originally we chose this venue based on its outdoor ceremony and reception areas not knowing what would happen with COVID-19. I also wanted something outdoors without leaning too far into the barn/country theme I'd seen at a lot of other venues. Avalon is rustic but its natural beauty goes well with any wedding style or theme you can dream up. Alee and Debi, were both so helpful during the 10-month planning process. Debi sent timely reminders and updates about everything from event insurance to day-of-event reminders. I ended up hiring Alee to help me with month-of/day-of wedding coordination and that was the best money we spent during the entire process - no lie. Alee, already knowing the venue, was a PRO at helping me on my wedding day. She kept me apprised of the time and what was next on the schedule (I was missing my apple watch that day!), she made sure I got something to eat, that I got time to breathe with my new husband, she handled all of the tiny bits of turbulence that comes up on a wedding day. I love her - truly. I wish I could take her home with me! Back to the ranch, the bridal suite had a ton of space and the groomsmen's room was perfect with a tv and couches. I cannot wait to see the photos so I can share how beautiful the venue's grounds were. Immaculate gardens and everything was spotless indoors and out. And would you believe they had a wedding there the night before??? I showed up at 10 am and everything was sparkling clean. Another plus: their preferred vendor list was chock full of rock stars. We found our caterer, DJ, and bartenders from that list. Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney is the perfect place to feel like you are having a destination wedding while being only 12 minutes from the highway. Book your wedding here!

The covered reception is well beautiful and plenty of room to dance. The house on the venue has many places and props to take beautiful pictures. And the staff is fabulous, Alee and Debi are very flexible and generous! Not to mention they have affordable packages to best fit your special day and wedding plans. My wife and I got married at Avalon Legacy Ranch August 28th! It was the most beautiful day! Our journey with Avalon started over a year ago! My wife and I completely fell in love with the venue at first sight! Alee and Debi were a special added bonus!! Both of them were such a pleasure to work with! They answered all of our questions and were extremely helpful and supportive through the whole process! We could not have had such a successful wedding without the help of them and their lovely team! My mom is still raving about Becca and Alee! We ended up coming to the venue to take pre wedding photos and they came out spectacular! One of the many reasons we picked this venue was there is so many places for photos and videos! The bridal party was so impressed with how much space was provided! Debi and Alee provide an amazing vendor recommendation selection, we followed it and could not have been happier with how the vendors turn out!We were obsessed with the reception deck area it felt like we were in a tree house. They did an amazing job keeping it cool for our summer wedding! For our older guests it was important that the venue was a indoor / outdoor which it is! My grandparents enjoyed being able to come inside. We added on the farm tables and they are absolutely stunning!! We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and itās location! We had a lot of out of town guests and it is in a prime location as there are so many hotels around! We would give 10 stars āļø if we could!

The ranch is truly a hidden gem!Alee was extremely accommodating with scheduling our tour, she even made sure I received pricing with their preferred vendors.The ranch is extremely easy to find, I had a sense of serenity while driving the pathway to the venue. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any event!! It is absolutely GORGEOUS!! These place speaks for itself and honestly needs little decor, which I loved! I had my wedding here in March and it was a dream come true! Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful it is. The place has a lot of space, we had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen and there was so much space for girls upstairs and guys downstairs. The bridal suite is huge!! Then you have the ceremony outdoors that is breathtaking!! The reception area has these beautiful lights to dance the night away under! Not to mention, Debi and Alee were so amazing to work with and truly want your event to go amazingly! Everyone always wants their event to have no hiccups but of course it always happens but Debi and Alee were sooo helpful and there to help me!! I wish I would have used Alee as my coordinator as I'm sure she would have been amazing for day of/ month of craziness! I absolutely recommend this place!!!

ALR is the most beautiful venue I've ever been to! They were the only venue we visited because we instantly knew that's where we wanted to get married. Debi and Alee were so wonderful and incredibly helpful throughout our entire engagement. Almost all of our vendors were from their preferred list and we have zero regrets. They communicated with us and helped with anything we needed. You can tell just being there they genuinely love weddings and helping couples make their day special and memorable. I highly recommend!!

Avalon Legacy Ranch and the entire team there are absolutely INCREDIBLE! My husband and I got married at ALR in November of 2018 and almost two years later I still would not change a single thing. From our first tour we knew we wanted to get married there but looked at a few other venues just to be sure, and nothing even compared! Every single inch of this venue, both inside and outside, has clearly been given so much love and detailed attention from the staff and it really shines through. The house and deck are gorgeous, the walk down to the outdoor chapel is beautiful, and the outdoor chapel itself is amazing (pictures donāt even do this venue justice)!One of my biggest concerns with having an outdoor wedding in Texas during November was the weather. Would it be 30 degrees or 100 degrees? Would it be sunny and amazing or pouring rain? Luckily at ALR it really doesnāt matter either way. Their ābackupā ceremony location on the deck is equally as gorgeous as the outdoor ceremony site and they have plenty of ways to help you combat the Texas heat or cold! When I say they are prepared to help you with anythingā¦.they really are! They are very flexible with vendors but can also give you great recommendations if you arenāt sure who to use. There was also a lot of flexibility around scheduling times for tours, engagement photos, and rehearsal times, which was extremely helpful since we lived two hours away. As a whole, the venue is run by incredible people who clearly take pride in their work and want to make each wedding as wonderful as possible. Our entire wedding day ended up being so filled with joy and love (with 0% stress) and a huge part of that was because of the venue and the people who run it.We also chose to use Alee as our month of coordinator and WOW she is so sweet and wonderful. Alee is an incredible human and was the reassuring voice that you just sometimes need, especially when youāre trying to figure out how to plan a wedding. Avalon Legacy Ranch and the entire team there are absolutely INCREDIBLE! My husband and I got married at ALR in November of 2018 and almost two years later I still would not change a single thing. From our first tour we knew we wanted to get married there but looked at a few other venues just to be sure, and nothing even compared! Every single inch of this venue, both inside and outside, has clearly been given so much love and detailed attention from the staff and it really shines through. The house and deck are gorgeous, the walk down to the outdoor chapel is beautiful, and the outdoor chapel itself is amazing (pictures donāt even do this venue justice)!One of my biggest concerns with having an outdoor wedding in Texas during November was the weather. Would it be 30 degrees or 100 degrees? Would it be sunny and amazing or pouring rain? Luckily at ALR it really doesnāt matter either way. Their ābackupā ceremony location on the deck is equally as gorgeous as the outdoor ceremony site and they have plenty of ways to help you combat the Texas heat or cold! When I say they are prepared to help you with anythingā¦.they really are! They are very flexible with vendors but can also give you great recommendations if you arenāt sure who to use. There was also a lot of flexibility around scheduling times for tours, engagement photos, and rehearsal times, which was extremely helpful since we lived two hours away. As a whole, the venue is run by incredible people who clearly take pride in their work and want to make each wedding as wonderful as possible. Our entire wedding day ended up being so filled with joy and love (with 0% stress) and a huge part of that was because of the venue and the people who run it.We also chose to use Alee as our month of coordinator and WOW she is so sweet and wonderful. Alee is an incredible human and was the reassuring voice that you just sometimes need, especially when youāre trying to figure out how to plan a wedding. Our whole wedding planning process (in spite of having to postpone due to COVID) has been phenomenal, and we attribute so much to that to having chosen Avalon Legacy Ranch as our venue. My fiancƩ and I had no doubt that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding in, probably after five minutes of visiting. As you drive in, you see a sign that says \"Happily ever after starts here\" and I seriously cry every time I see it. Unlike other venues, ALR doesn't feel like a \"wedding factory\" where everything feels calculated. The magic of Avalon is that it feels homey and inviting while still being full of special and romantic details everywhere you look. The cherry on top for us was choosing Alee to help us plan our wedding, too. We live in CA, so being that far meant we'd need some help, and we could've never imagined someone more wonderful than her. I was worried about butting heads with a planner, but Alee was full of great ideas, understanding our taste and style, and was able to recommend the perfect vendors for us. She became a friend along the way, and that's made wedding planning feel so exciting and fun. This is such a charming venue and everyone could not stop taking about how beautiful our wedding was (and decorations were not on the top of my list). You do have to hire a coordinator to help you on your day of, but Alee does a wonderful job and I definitely recommend hiring her for the whole month before! She did so much to make that last month so easy and took care of everything on wedding day. Seriously so happy we got married at Avalon. I cannot recommend it enough!

I am not giving the venue itself five stars because I donāt feel like I have the authority to rate the venue since I didnāt have my wedding there, but I am giving Debi five stars! She was so easy-going and 100% honest and upfront about everything when we spoke with her. When touring the venue, it was nice to have someone who didnāt make me feel like she was so obviously trying to sell the venue, she just presented it to us and let us make our on decision. Although I didnāt end up going forward with this venue, I felt like the least I could do was write a good review about how great Debi was!

As the father of the bride, I was always concerned with the price of things especially when \"wedding\" is attached to its value. Avalon Legacy Ranch was the first place my daughter visited and she knew from the moment she stepped onsite that this was the place. As the \"money man\" I was shocked at the value we were getting compared to some other pricing we had heard from other venues. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! From the outside chapel to the cabana's with fire pits, it was everything my daughter (and me) were looking for. Alee and her staff were professional and on point every time we had contact with them. My daughter wanted to make several trips to the venue after booking to check on miscellaneous items and the were always accommodating. Alee helped us immensely in coordinating vendors and pointing us in the right direction several times to the point she actually saved money. The morning of the wedding was basically a monsoon outside and they made provisions for an indoor ceremony at the reception hall. Luckily 30 minutes prior to the service the rain stopped and the entire staff pivoted back to an outside ceremony without any complaints or hesitation and pulled it off. It was a very special day and at very special place. If I had to do it all over again we would still pick Avalon Legacy Ranch.

I couldn't have made a better choice by choosing Avalon Legacy Ranch as our wedding venue. The second I drove past the trees surrounding the venue and into the clearing I had the strongest feeling in the world that this was the venue I NEEDED to choose. We proceeded to look at about 8 other venues and everything paled in comparison! Alee and the Avalon Legacy crew were absolutely amazing. Any questions I had were answered immediately, I was given all kinds of advice, and I even hired Alee to be my wedding coordinator because she was so awesome. The venue couldn't have been more beautiful and all the ladies at Avalon Legacy had so much to do with making my wedding more beautiful than I had ever imagined. About a week before the wedding I was sent this long list of questions that took me about 3 days to finish (when i say long list, I mean LONG list), but they made sure I had EVERY SINGLE BASE covered for my wedding day. And believe it or not, our day literally didn't have one problem. I highly recommend getting married at Avalon Legacy!! Thank you guys again so so so much!!!

Me and my husband had our wedding here December of 2018 and even though it rained, Debbie and Alee and their team made my day absolutely perfect. I canāt tell you how many people complimented us on how beautiful our wedding was (even in the rain!) You have to go look at this venue and meet Debbie and Alee, as soon as you do, you feel at home. They are so sweet and you feel like family as soon as you meet them. Truly amazing venue and team!

As mother of the bride, I am singing praises for my daughterās wedding venue, Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney, Texas! The wedding and reception were beautiful and beyond anything I could imagine! It would have been a disaster had it not been for Avalon Legacy Ranch stepping up and recommending a new catering/ bar service two days before the wedding when I learned our original Caterer, Whisk Catering and Consulting, had cancelled via an email to me. I missed that email in the hundred or so messages I get each day.The message was ccād to AVALON LEGACY RANCH and they CALLED me! One of the venue owners, Alee, talked me through the horrible news and made me know they were going to help me get things back on track. They were going to make sure we had linen table clothes and napkins as planned, they made calls to caterers wth bar service they know and trust and we got everything back on target to have the wedding and reception in two days as scheduled. I canāt say enough good things...they helped us make sure my daughter had the wedding and reception of her dreams! The owners and this venue are beautiful!

We certainly aren't the \"country\" type but Avalon Legacy Ranch is the perfect mix of elegant and rustic and the venue just felt so natural and had such a good flow of energy. Avalon legacy ranch is a magical venue _ we had our 20th wedding anniversary celebration in December and cant say enough about how gorgeous this venue is and how wonderful it was to work with Debi, Alee and the Avalon team. They made our event planning a breeze and were extremely flexible every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our celebrations were flawless and were the most memorable moments ever. I will hands down recommend this venue....

I fell in love with Avalon back in September, when I saw them in a Bridal Show. I felt welcomed and not pressured to learn more about their venue. My (now) husband and I visited Avalon and immediately fell in love - not only with the venue, but with the women who run it as well! I felt like our vision and desire for the wedding was heard, and that we were not just another number to them. It also meant a lot that every time we met with Alee or Debbie, they told us how excited they were for our wedding! I loved that Avalon has a built-in-plan-B in case of crazy weather, like we had! We could not have picked a more perfect venue! The ranch house and property are just so beautiful and unique, like no other venue we'd seen before. The lighting is amazing, the ambiance is perfect. The ranch house layout is organic, and fun-mingling inducing... It really impressed all of our guests! Plus, Alee and Debi helped us so much with managing both our families and general wedding-coordination (which was amazing). And the result was a truly unforgettable day filled with laughs, great food, dancing, and toasts. Thank you so much from the bottom of our heart. By the way, the pictures came out great! What a venue, what an experience. My advice: go visit and book ALR today. You'll be happy you did.

We had our wedding at Avalon on December 8th and it was PERFECT! The atmosphere there is so intimate and romantic, it's like a dream. It's so gorgeous on it's own that you really barely have to decorate. It rained all day and our back up plan was just as amazing as the chapel would have been. Magical....Our wedding was magical. The owners were there for us and the setting was perfect. From the monarch butterflies that I watched from the bridal suite to the beautiful vegetation that surrounded the venue on our way to the outdoor chapel, we could not have been happier with our choice. The outdoor fire pits and the reception venue filled with beautiful lighting added to the overall feeling that not only Tracy and I experienced but our many guests. We have received so many messages from our guests about our wedding and the most beautiful venue that most had ever been to. Great Job...Great Memories.

Avalon Legacy Ranch was an amazing venue to work with! They were super flexible and provided all the info we needed. The venue is gorgeous! Sometimes responsiveness to emails was slow (1 week+ between replies), but everyone was fantastic to work with! They were accommodating when we needed it, like when we blanked on sending the final venue payment by 1 week and it was raining up until an hour or so before the ceremony. I definitely recommend ordering the linens through the venue, which gives free delivery.

I found Avalon Legacy Ranch (ALR) through the Knot app and fell in love with the photos. I scheduled several venue tours and ALR was the first venue we visited. As soon as I took the tour I canceled all of my other venue visits and my husband Steve and I booked our wedding at Avalon Legacy Ranch. It was a risky decision not to look at any other venues but I have zero regrets about booking with ALR right away. ALR is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is so wonderful to work with! We worked with Debbie to book our date and we worked with Alee closer to our big day. They are great! My wedding coordinator and I sat down with Alee about a month before the wedding to go over every single detail and Alee was so helpful. They created a packet with questions for brides/grooms to use so you do not miss any detail. I am SO GRATEFUL for that information and those questions. Thanks to ALRās help no detail of our big day was missed. The staff allows you to use any vendors you prefer but they have a vendor list that was SO HELPFUL. We used the DJ and caterer that they recommended and they were both wonderful. They upstairs bridal suite was so much fun to use the day of the wedding. I had 10 bridesmaids and there was plenty of room for us to have our hair and make-up done and also relax and hang out. My husband and the groomsmen enjoyed hanging out downstairs and outside. The grounds are so beautiful for pictures and the chapel area is so sweet and intimate. I also loved using the porch for our reception and the downstairs of the home for our buffet line and bar. Since the venue is so beautiful, it is so easy to decorate. I absolutely love all of our wedding photos all over the grounds. I am so grateful for the wonderful staff at ALR and for their beautiful venue. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to start our lives together and we will treasure Avalon Legacy Ranch forever.

We used the DJ and caterer that they recommended and they were both wonderful. They upstairs bridal suite was so much fun to use the day of the wedding. I had 10 bridesmaids and there was plenty of room for us to have our hair and make-up done and also relax and hang out. My husband and the groomsmen enjoyed hanging out downstairs and outside. The grounds are so beautiful for pictures and the chapel area is so sweet and intimate. I also loved using the porch for our reception and the downstairs of the home for our buffet line and bar. Since the venue is so beautiful, it is so easy to decorate. I absolutely love all of our wedding photos all over the grounds. I am so grateful for the wonderful staff at ALR and for their beautiful venue. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to start our lives together and we will treasure Avalon Legacy Ranch forever.

My fiance and I knew as soon as we toured ALR, that we would get married there. We got married on 4/14/18 and are so glad we made the choice we did! Debi and Alee made us feel welcome and like family as soon as we walked in. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect back drop for our wedding day. Our wedding went off without a hitch, and we wouldn't change a thing. It was a little cool and windy the day of the wedding, and without even having to ask, the clear tarps were pulled down to keep the reception area comfortable. In the craziness of cleaning up, our parents forgot to grab the extra pieces to the cake stand our baker provided. When I called ALR over a week later, they managed to track it down, and set it aside for us to pick up. If I had to give any suggestions, I would have asked that we got a reminder for the final payment about a week beforehand. Instead, we got an email the day it was due saying it was late. A little heads up would have been nice. Otherwise, we have ZERO complaints about the venue.

Also we hired Alee Ladd and Co for the coordination of the wedding and she went above a beyond to help make the day perfect. It's always hard for me to give control to someone else, especially for such a special time in our lives and now I would trust team Avalon for any occasion!

My wife and I were not even looking for an outdoor ceremony site when we first started searching for venues but once we toured at Avalon we were hooked. We loved the family feel that Debi, Alee and Faith created at this gorgeous location. We did not even feel the need to decorate a lot since the place was so beautiful and charming as is. It has an out of the city feel while being just 20 minutes away from downtown McKinney. It rained the morning of but as soon as it stopped they were out there drying the seats off and by the time the ceremony started you wouldn't even of known it had been pouring at all.

My children are still young, but they look forward to getting married at Avalon Legacy Ranch someday. It is stunningly beautiful and yet still has a comfortable feeling. The natural setting is glorious and all the little details just make it stand out.The bridal suite and the groom's room are also as perfect as I could imagine one to be. With so much room to get ready for any event, you just could not be more comfortable. The staff all go to any length to help to make your event perfect. I always wanted to get married in Colorado but it wasnāt an option for us so my friend told me about Avalon. When we toured I felt like I was at a venue in Colorado- nestled in the woods but we were still in the DFW metroplex! The moment we went I knew this was where I wanted to get married. The house is gorgeous and elegant. Every room is decorated so elegantly and feels extremely inviting and cozy. The patio is spacious yet intimate. The chapel is beautiful and unique. Alee and Debi were amazing, not only with their hospitality but their speedy communication whenever I had a question. Alee definitely stood out and helped make our day the BEST! She was a presence on the day of and ensured all the setup, tables, and chairs, were laid out like we specified. I went to the venue several times over the course of our engagement (visit with coordinator, to show out-of-town mom, bridal shoot, etc) and each time I was greeted with a smile, warmth, and wonderful professionalism. I highly recommend ALR for your woodland wedding.

When my fiance and I saw pictures of Avalon Legacy Ranch at the Dallas Bridal Show, we knew we had to go visit because it was our dream venue. Alee was so kind and helpful and scheduled a tour for us that same day since we were coming from out of town. When we arrived we knew it was where we would get married. The location is beautiful, and the little details of the ranch make it unique and rustic. The windows and lighting are jaw dropping, and the pergolas captured my heart. I knew it would be perfect for our special day because all I wanted was a place where I could relax and feel at home while getting ready, and where my guests from all over the country could spend time together and have fun. They even said we could play lawn games, so I was hooked! Plus, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We signed our contract that same day because we didn't need to see any other venues. Throughout the planning process they were available to answer questions. There were a few things that caused me to not give 5 stars. One reason is that my mom paid the full amount ahead of schedule and was contacted shortly before the wedding because they couldn't find her payment, so she was in panic mode. Another reason is that less than a week before the wedding, I received an email asking me to complete a huge bridal checklist that I feel I should have received earlier on because wedding week is already hectic enough with picking people up and other tasks, so then I was in panic mode. I feel like there could be an improvement in organization so that brides and family members are not stressed out more. My other issue was that our wedding morning was a complete disaster, and not at all relaxing like I wanted it to be. I had sent my table layout in an email ahead of time, but when we arrived nothing was set up the way I had requested, so I spent my morning sweating while moving all the tables around. My fiance and I ended up seeing each other ahead of time because he didn't want me to have to do all the work. Then, while we were trying to get ready, there were people going on a tour. I thought that was a little unprofessional. Finally, my amazing aunt had to go around and get rid of tons of cobwebs that should have been removed before we arrived. However, the wedding itself still turned out to be beautiful and fun like I wanted, and everyone commented on how amazing the venue is. I just think that some improvements can be made so that the experience is just as wonderful for the bride/bridal party/family as it is for the guests.
