Avalon Yacht Club is a country club wedding venue in Avalon, NJ. Situated along South Jersey's intracoastal waterway, an exclusive location, this venue offers unrestricted panoramic water views and spectacular sunsets that you and your guests will undoubtedly enjoy. With a rich history dating back to 1941, Avalon Yacht Club is the perfect spot to celebrate the first day of the rest of your life. Brian Juliano, the club's general manager, and Jarrod Sykes, the event coordinator, will see that your vision is realized and that no detail is missed. With a capacity of 250 guests, this exquisite bayfront location makes it one of the most stunning venues in the area. With unmatched views from the dining room, you can take in the stunning sunset as you and your guests celebrate. Dine and dance the night away from the spacious, light-filled ballroom, which features more windows than walls. This venue features an entryway you can customize to your liking, a dining room, and the main bar. The experienced staff mixes up your drinks just the way you like, and you and your guests can gather and grab a cocktail in the wraparound space. The North Deck offers the perfect spot for either the ceremony or cocktail hour. In case of rain, the space has side screens and a retractable canopy to keep everyone dry. With a team of professional and experienced staff they are there to assist with every minute detail, and all the required planning is coordinated. Peter Mark, the executive chef, is available to you and will collaborate with you to create a custom meal for your special day. At Avalon Yacht Club, it's all about the sunset! The team plans your evening's schedule around the time of sunset to ensure that your photographer gets the chance to capture your ideal glowing portrait. AYC was such a dream place to have our wedding reception! They are by far the best option in Avalon to have a wedding at. Jarrod & his team were super helpful throughout the entire planning process, providing advice and giving us the freedom to get creative. On the day of they did an outstanding job with food, drinks and service. Our guests said it was one of the best weddings they've ever gone to and that wouldn't have happened without the AYC team! My husband and I had so much fun at our wedding and can't recommend AYC enough!

AYC was such a dream place to have our wedding reception! They are by far the best option in Avalon to have a wedding at. The Avalon Yacht Club couldn't have been a more perfect wedding venue for this shore loving couple. First and foremost, you can't review this club without mentioning the most gorgeous bayfront and sunset views in all of South Jersey. We were able to keep the decor very simple for this reason, because the 180 degrees of water views are all you need. The deck on the water is the absolute best spot for cocktail hour. It also allowed us to make our entrance by boat with everyone watching from ashore (a super fun touch!). We had multiple guests comment that this was the best food they have ever had a wedding, hands down (shout out to Chef Peter!). Jarrod and Brian, the day of coordinators, also need their own shout out. They waited on my husband and me (as well as our families) hand and foot all day long, and made sure the day went without a hitch. Not to mention they are both just super nice and fun guys! I am so happy we chose the AYC for our wedding reception - I don't think any other location would have even come close!

The Avalon Yacht Club made my dream wedding come true. I loved working with Jarrod and Brian. They set up my wedding perfectly and I didnāt have to worry about anything. The view at the Yacht Club was amazing. I loved that they had a stage for the band. My guests are still raving about the food. The service was amazing. We didnāt have the best weather but it was still a memorable night.

Jarrod, Brian, and the rest of the team at Avalon Yacht Club was absolutely incredible from start to finish. On the day of the wedding, Jarrod and Brian were our go-to guys for anything needed - even guests were coming up to tell us how impressed they were with their attentive service and seamlessness of the day! If I could do it all over again, I would pick AYC as our venue every time. You will not be disappointed!

Avalon Yacht club is the BEST place to have an Avalon wedding. I was so impressed on the day. A few of my other vendors dropped some balls, and AYC was there to pick up the slack. A bouquet was left on a beach, Jarrod went all the way to pick it up. Brian was like a ninja during the entire event, invisible until there was a problem: then there he was, already 2 steps ahead with a solution. Our food was Great! Chef and wait staff really knocked it out of the park with service. They were time efficient(we gave them a very tight schedule) and everything was delicious. We had so many ideas and Iām so grateful to the club for making them all work! If you love Avalon, this is the perfect place to have your wedding. It feels like the town: classic and beachy. And they will take care of you like you are one of the family.

It we could give 10 stars we would! Our wedding was on September 28, 2019 and it was absolutely perfect! Everything single detail was amazing! Jarrod & Brian were the best to work with. They are awesome and the nicest people. They made sure we had everything we wanted and made the planning process fun, smooth and stress free! They are absolutely great people to work with. They made sure everything was taken care and worked with all vendors to make sure every detail went smoothly. They went above and beyond for us throughout the whole process. The day of the wedding was so smooth and we could not have asked for a better experience! Chief Peter was hands down the best! Our guests still say that our food at the Avalon Yacht Club was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Chief Peter is the nicest man and made sure everything was perfect for every single guests. The timing of the food and the organization by the entire staff was excellent. They did not miss a beat. We highly recommend the Avalon Yacht Club if you want a stress free wedding experience with amazing views of the bay, fabulous food & an awesome staff. Everything was impeccable on all levels. Our wedding was more than we could ever imagine and everyone still talks about to this day! Jarrod, Brian Chief Peter & the entire staff made our wedding day absolutely amazing on so many levels and we are forever grateful we picked the Avalon Yacht Club and worked with such amazing people there! We cannot recommend AYC enough, Jarrod was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. He was responsive, answered all of our questions and provided helpful guidance when we were lost in the wedding planning process. The venue itself is stunning on the water and set up perfectly for weddings. We were able to get married on the deck with beautiful weather and all of our guests enjoyed the outdoor cocktail hour. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised about how much we were able to eat and drink on our wedding day thanks to the attentive staff. They even set up a plate of appetizers for us to enjoy before hitting cocktail hour, so we didn't have to do the rounds on an empty stomach. The food was exceptional, and they saved my other crab cake in a to-go box so I could enjoy it the next day (it still tasted great).Brian genuinely cared about our happiness and was an extremely gracious host the day of, while Jarrod ensured that the dinner and service worked seamlessly in the background. We had a 10 piece band and 150 guests and the dance floor never felt cramped, the bar was never backed up and we were able to party all night. Our only \"complaint\" was something that we never communicated, that we wanted our ceremony set-up left out during cocktail hour for guests to take photos with. Everything else was truly that perfect. If you are able to, we also recommend Belmomento Events and Blooms Florist to round out your vendors at the Yacht Club, they have all worked together frequently and executed the event seamlessly.

If you are looking to have the best wedding ever, this is the place. We really can't thank you all enough for the best day of our lives, especially the AYC coordinators Jarrod and Brian. Our wedding day was seamlessly perfect. Jarrod answered all of my questions and helped me get together my day of time line ahead of time, they even set up all of our decor beautifully. On our wedding day we had absolutely nothing to worry about. (Brian even helped carry my train during pictures) Also compliments to Chef Peter our guests have been giving us so many compliments on how the food at our wedding was the best they ever had. If you are looking for a venue that has it all, this is the place for you. To save you some time visit them first, check out the ceremony space on the bay view deck and you won't even need to see any other venues. Thanks again for helping us have our dream wedding!

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at Avalon Yacht Club. Jarrod was AMAZING throughout the entire wedding planning process. He knows the ins and outs of the club, what works and what doesn't to ensure everything flows perfectly. Brian was also available for anything we needed the day of our wedding. They both made our day feel so relaxed & laid back. If they were running around behind the scenes we never knew it. Chef Peter's food was delicious. Our guests are still talking about cocktail hour and dinner weeks later. Jarrod, Brian & Chef Peter were so accommodating with any crazy ideas we brought to them and more than willing to execute. They made our day more than memorable and so so much fun. We can't say enough good things about the club.

The Avalon Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our wedding!! Everything from the day we signed a contract to the end of our wedding went so smoothly! Jarrod, the assistant manager, answered all of our questions and was immensely helpful leading up to the big day. Brian, the manager, was our point person on the weekend. He made everything run so smoothly that we could just sit back and enjoy the day! Chef Peter and his staff made excellent and delicious food, even for our guests with dietary restrictions. The entire wait staff was very attentive. The ambiance of the club was so relaxing and and simplistic, we hardly had to do much with the florist except for just enhance its natural beauty! The club's preferred vendor list was also very thorough and, as we were planning the wedding from 6 hours away, we used many of the vendors on their list. Boy are we happy we did!From my Husband: Jarrod, Brian, and Chef Pete were amazing guys that were really in control of the situation and they made me feel at ease and relaxed and able to enjoy my time at my wedding! Move over bridezillas - Brian and Jarrod know more than you do!

We had a fantastic experience at the Avalon Yacht Club. Leading up to the wedding, Jarrod and Chef Peter were always available to meet, answer questions and help with the planning process. One benefit of working with this team is how familiar they are with many of the local vendors, making much of the coordination leading up to the wedding and the day of wedding seamless. We also brought in vendors from NYC that had never been to the Yacht Club before, and the AYC team easily coordinated with those vendors as well.The food was a highlight of the experience and exceeded our expectations. The crab cakes and short rib entrees were both fantastic, as were the lamb lollipop and lobster roll appetizers. Chef Peter is also friendly, laid back, and willing to work with the bride and groom to create custom options. The day of the wedding, the entire AYC staff was incredibly attentive, organized, and kept things on schedule. Both the outdoor deck (where the ceremony and cocktail hour took place) and the main dining room have beautiful water and sunset views. Another benefit of the the Club's layout is that there is a true bar (rather than a table set up as a bar as is the case at many weddings), so drink service moves quickly and there aren't lines to get a drink.Overall, the bride and groom, families, and guests had a wonderful time!

Another benefit of the the Club's layout is that there is a true bar (rather than a table set up as a bar as is the case at many weddings), so drink service moves quickly and there aren't lines to get a drink.Overall, the bride and groom, families, and guests had a wonderful time!

Excellent services -Jarrod Sykes was nothing short of amazing he was with me from the beginning to the end, he answered all of my obnoxious text messages and always had a smile on his face! Hosting our wedding at the Avalon Yacht Club was a dream. Not only was it the perfect location - situated right on the bay, secluded, and with the most amazing sunset views - but it also allowed us to team up with some very exceptional people in the planning of our big day. Brian, Jarrod, Chef Peter and the entire staff helped to turn our wedding day vision into reality, and we can't thank them enough for it! From the very beginning, Jarrod was so helpful, patient, and accommodating, helping us to really understand the space and all the opportunities for us to make it into what we wanted it to be. And he helped us keep on track over the months leading into our wedding, making the planning very easy and organized. We thoroughly enjoyed our behind-the-scenes tasting with Chef Peter in the lead up to our wedding, and received many compliments from guests on the food the night-of. We even managed to taste everything that came out of the kitchen thanks to the help of Brian who made it his mission to make sure we had the best time and didn't miss a thing. The Avalon yacht club is the perfect venue! The yacht club was amazing from start to finish. We are so grateful for the yacht club team and all the amazing services that they provided to make our day truly perfect. They made the wedding planning process super easy by guiding us through the process and giving us a list of recommended vendors who were incredible and familiar with the venue. The yacht club was very accommodating and were fun to work with. We enjoyed our menu tasting with Chef Peter and all of our guests raved about the food. from the moment we walked into the door at our reception, Brian made sure that we had everything we needed through the night. Including helping with pictures and keeping everything on schedule. We had a great time working with Jarrod and he went above and beyond to help with any part of our wedding day. He was prompt with communicating and his knowledge and expertise with the wedding industry was evident through the process. The bartenders and serving staff did an awesome job. The venue itself is beautiful! The sunsets are perfect and the location is unbeatable. The venue provided us with a wedding party suite which allowed us to have a private area to keep our stuff and regroup. Our wedding was so much fun and we cannot thank the yacht club team enough for all of their help and assistance to make our day so perfect. I was married at the Avalon Yacht Club on June 2, 2018, and to say my experience was exceptional would be a huge understatement. EVERYTHING and i mean everything was absolutely perfect-the venue, the food, the staff, just phenomenal. I can not thank everyone at the Yacht Club, especially Jarrod and Brian, enough. They (along with the rest of the staff) were the main reason that everything ran so smoothly. They were both very calm, and at no point did I feel extra stress leading up to and during the night. Jarrod was very easy to work with, helping with all details, including the horrid seating chart. There were some thunderstorms predicted for the day, but they assured me that everything would be completely fine, if needed to be altered they would handle it all. I could go on and on about this amazing venue. I had the time of my life and constantly replay the day in my head. I am forever grateful that I choose Avalon Yacht Club as my wedding venue and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! Really, I am trying to convince my friends to get married here just so I could experience the amazingness again!

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were everything we dreamed of at the Yacht Club. We had our ceremony outside on the deck. During our cocktail hour we roamed between outside and inside while taking many pictures. The reception inside was amazing. Jarrod made all of our visions come to life. All of our decorations were placed perfectly and everything went according to plan. There was so much organization on his end that it was easy for me to make decisions. Peter cooked everything perfectly. My husband :) was eating dinner, took a breath, and said \"This is the best steak I've ever had.\" It doesn't get much better than that.

Food was excellent, service was impeccable and the venue itself is absolutely perfect with the full wrap around bar and spacious dance floor.Jarrod is an absolute pro at understanding the logistics and intricacies involved with planning a wedding. He has a \"playbook\" that we used as the framework for our major decisions that provided a lot of helpful structure - better than anything we would have come across online, as it's tailored for the specific space at the AYC.Brian took home the award for Unsung Hero of the night as he ushered us around to ensure we didn't miss any of the special dances / bouquet tosses / pictures - and always made sure our glasses were full and we were taken care of. He was such a delight to the point that my Dad - who has chaired several large fundraisers and committees - commented that he's never experienced someone with so much execution capability and class/politeness. Brian was beyond a dream. We love him!Chef Peter made the most excellent crab cakes and fillets. The lamb on the bone as well as the shrimp scampi cocktail appetizers blew people's socks off. All of the food was excellent and the bounty of appetizers (7 per person) ensures you do not need to amp up the program with additional displays / appetizer stations. There was almost too much food and we went with the standard package.The bar ensured that no one ever had to wait for a drink. All of the servers were pleasant.The Avalon Yacht Club made our wedding the most seamless, blissful and upscale event - I cannot fully articulate how amazing they were!

I couldn't recommend the Avalon Yacht Club more for a wedding venue. I think the views are the best on the island for a wedding. They did a wonderful job and we couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out, it was truly perfect. The staff--everyone from the bartenders to the managers were great. They accommodated all of our random requests and were extremely attentive. Jarrod and Brian both know the club very well and have a lot of experience with weddings. They know what works and what doesn't work. You'll be so happy you picked AYC!

I couldn't recommend the Avalon Yacht Club more for a wedding venue. I think the views are the best on the island for a wedding. They did a wonderful job and we couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out, it was truly perfect. The staff--everyone from the bartenders to the managers were great. They accommodated all of our random requests and were extremely attentive. Jarrod and Brian both know the club very well and have a lot of experience with weddings. They know what works and what doesn't work. You'll be so happy you picked AYC!

Avalon Yacht Club is the most perfect destination for a Jersey Shore wedding! From the stunning 360 degree views of the water, perfect venue layout, exceptional service and delicious food - we had the best day of our lives on June 3rd!Jarrod and Brian are very meticulous and ensure your day is perfectly planned out from the ceremony, introductions, reception and the sunset photo session. Chef Peter and his crew did a phenomenal job - the food was incredible!We highly recommend AYC - it's the best venue around!!

We had an amazing time, our wedding was absolutely perfect! it rained the day of our wedding but the entire Avalon staff worked so hard to move everything and change things so that we could have an amazing night!Thank you Jarrod and Brian for everything! The food was absolutely delicious!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my wedding experience at the AYC. First and foremost - the staff. Jarrod helped us plan and problem solve for every step of the process, really making us feel that no matter what happened he would have a back up plan to the back up plan. Brian, the general manager, made us feel like we were the only two people at the wedding. Anything we needed or wanted, he was right there making sure we had it. Second - the view. The view inside the venue is breathtaking and the sunset is perfect for pictures. The floor plan is also ideal. Because the bar (a real bar inside the venue - as opposed to a make shift bar inside the venue) is right next to the dance floor, it encourages guests to remain dancing and having fun the entire night. No one needs to leave to go to another room for a drink. I would highly recommend this venue to other brides looking for a real shore/bay experience.

Amazing venue- The place itself is gorgeous- open and bright. On top of that- Jarrod the manager of the club who helps you with all the details of the big night is the best. He was easy to reach, open to all our wants, was friendly, and helpful. My wedding was flawless and went off without any issues. The food and service was amazing. I can't say enough about this venue. I do not know even know where to begin on how amazing and fantastic our wedding was at the Avalon Yacht Club on September 27th, 2014! The venue, location, scenery- including an unbelievable picturesque sunset, food, and especially Jarrod (event coordinator), Brian (GM) and the staff exceeded every expectation above and beyond for the perfect day!\r\rJarrod helped us every step of the way and was hands on from the first introduction meeting to helping us pack up the day after our wedding! He knows all the vendors, has so much knowledge and experience, is open to āyourā vision and ideasā¦I felt like he was also our wedding planner!\r\rWe had our ceremony on the side deck (they provide the chairs!) where we were surrounded by the bay without a house in sight. The side deck then turns into cocktail hour and comes to an end just as the sun is beginning to set. My favorite thing is you get an entire wedding guest group picture off the side steps before you head in for the reception which I have never seen before (a lot of guests mentioned this as well). I grew up going to Stone Harbor and Avalon every summer and I have never seen a more gorgeous sunset then the view from their docks! I was shocked with excitement seeing our wedding pictures for the first time!\r\rThey have an extremely large selection to choose from for appetizers during cocktail hour (which are delicious) and friends and family could not get over how good dinner was- some said best wedding dinner entrĆ©e they ever had (we did crab cake and chicken picatta). \r\rJarrod and Brian are hands on the entire day and night for you and your family but you barely even notice they are there! It honestly seemed that any time I needed to do or get something Brian was right there with a smile to take care of it. I am so happy and grateful we chose to have our wedding at the Avalon Yacht Club as we had one of the best days of our lives and I honestly canāt imagine it being anywhere else!\r

We had both our ceremony and reception at AYC in June and we could not be happier with our decision to get married there! Our day was amazing. The staff at AYC was great to work with right from the start, and they were there to help in every way possible. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect, and it was! The food was amazing! Our guests continue to tell us how great of a wedding it was. The view at AYC is simply beautiful and we have amazing photographs. We are so glad our wedding was at AYC!

My husband and I had our reception here in May and are thrilled with AYC! Jarrod and Brian couldn't have been more helpful in the planning and the day-of services. During planning Jarrod was very flexible with what we wanted to do, he knew our vendors well and I didn't need to worry about a thing. When I showed up on the day of the wedding everything was perfect. On the day of, they were always there to make sure we had everything we needed, but weren't in your face about it. When our transportation company didn't show up, Jarrod and Brian were calling cabs and car services for us and our guests and offered to even drive us to the hotel. The venue is beautiful and spacious, it's worth every penny for the sunset photos. The appetizers and the meal (filet and crab cake) were to die for. We are still getting compliments on the venue and the food! I think compared to some other venues in the area, the price is comparable but the setting and service can't be beat!

If anyone is considering getting married at the Jersey shore. Get married at the Avalon Yacht Club. Everything was perfect! The Venue is BEAUTIFUL! The food is absolutely amazing! Jarrod Sykes (Coordinator) As the clubs Wedding & Events Coordinator I will make certain that our culinary, management and service team ensures that your vision becomes a reality. I have been working at the Avalon Yacht Club for over 20 years and have been its Wedding & Events coordinator for the last 4 years having worked hundreds of weddings and special events. I will help with every intricate detail from start to finish and will coordinate all necessary planning. Our full management team will be present the entire day of your wedding and will make certain no detail is overlooked!
