My husband and I just got married this past weekend, and it was a day we will never forget. Avanti was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment we arrived for our very first tour, all the way through to our wedding day. Our event coordinator was always available for us and was there to answer whatever questions we had. She truly helped us execute our vision and even had recommendations for us to make our experience even better!When we arrived to the venue on the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. Our event manager for the evening had everything where we needed it to be, so there was absolutely no stress for us. The only thing we needed to concern ourselves with was to have the time of our lives with friends and family. Which was easy to do because we had a suite manager who literally catered to my husband and I! That was something I truly was not expecting. She always made sure we had a drink in hand, brought us our own tray of hors dâoeuvres to enjoy away from the crowd, and was even there to help bustle my gown when my maid of honor was struggling to do it herself! We did not have to ask for a single thing. She was on top of our needs the entire evening.I can truly say that any couple who has their wedding with Avanti will not be disappointed! They go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect! Not to mention the extra perks you get when you have your wedding in the off season! For the rest of my life, when any new bride-to-be asks me where they should have their wedding, I will be screaming âAvanti Mansionâ from the rooftops. From the moment we stepped foot into The Avanti Mansion my husband and I were enamored. The venue itself is beautiful and we were immediately taken by the professionalism and organized character of the coordinators. There are a few packages offered and they are very inclusive - meaning you don't have to outsource much unless you want real flowers (they do offer centerpieces!), a photo booth, etc. They also provide a list of preferred vendors with whom they work often and that's where we found our photographer who knew where to capture all the right pictures. The coordinators leading up to the wedding met every question and request with thoughtful, thorough response and delivered a beautiful set up the day of. We had cocktail hour in the library and then transitioned into the ballroom for the reception - the transition was absolutely seamless for our 230 person wedding. During cocktail hour we had hors d'oeuvres and then the dual plated entree sit down for dinner - two months later I still have people reaching out to talk about how it's the best wedding food they've ever had and I cannot agree more, everything was absolutely sensational! My husband owns a restaurant for which he is also the chef and he was blown away. Finally, the service staff. I cannot rave enough about the exceptional customer service provided by Arrika and the rest of the staff. Accommodating, attentive, PLEASANT - there are not enough words to describe how well our guests and ourselves were treated up until the moment we left. They went above and beyond to ensure the best experience for us and they delivered. I highly recommend this venue to everybody!

Avanti was beyond amazing. Raquel answered all my questions, tried to accommodate all my crazy ideas, but also gave me honest feedback about what would be best without making me feel dismissed. Any time that I needed to get in touch with someone at Avanti, I received a response almost immediately which was super impressive. Being an out of town bride I was nervous about logistics, but everything went seamlessly because Avanti runs a tight ship and pays attention to every small detail! The food tasting was over the top in the best way possible. Such a fun event, and it was nice to be able to talk with other brides and share ideas. The food was top notch. My guests raved about the cocktail hour spread. The fire pits and patio off the ballroom were a perfect hangout space for non-dancers. We were able to bring lawn games too. Our photographer took a picture from the top of the stairs of everyone at our wedding, which I loved! The to-go coffee station was smart, and even included little donuts. I was able to drop off all the decor for my wedding several days before, and they helped set up way more than I expected! From start to finish, nothing but amazing.

Avanti Mansion was amazing for our wedding day! We got married 10/6/23 and it was probably the least stressful day possible for us. Our coordinator Raquel was wonderful, and our suite hostess Cassandra was amazing all night long making sure we always had what we needed. We got married in the library courtyard and reception in the library. The spaces were amazing and perfect for our 88 person wedding. The food and drinks were amazing, and guests were raving about them. I would definitely recommend Avanti. The Avanti planning team has many meetings with the couples and answers any questions very quickly!

Avanti Mansion provided the two most important things we sought in a wedding venue; an iconic location for both a ceremony and reception, and delicious food! Avanti Mansion's Japanese Garden venue is nothing short of epic and perfectly set the mood for our fantasy themed wedding! Kelly was amazing to work with and generously allowed us a second tour to see their garden and tent in-person since we initially booked in the winter. Avanti is so much more than just a venue; they are an award-winning caterer and also provide full bar service, a cookie/milk bar, and have options for additional food stations. Depending the day/season of one's wedding they also offer additional perks! Our wedding was June, 23, 2023, and as it was a Friday wedding we received a free evening food station as well as a sizeable credit towards stationary purchased through their partner vendor. We also took advantage of their Wed & Breakfast deal where us and some of our wedding party spent the night in the beautiful historic mansion. It was wonderful not needing to drive after a night of partying and being able to be with everyone again first thing in the morning! One piece of advice I would like to offer to anyone booking with Avanti is that if you plan on getting dressed on-site and having a first-look/group photos captured before the ceremony, schedule to arrive at least 3 hours before your ceremony time. We only had 2 hours and cut it very close due to dress malfunctions. Anything can happen and it's best to give yourself as much time as possible. Avanti Mansion is a true gem of Western NY and I hope more couples are able to celebrate the wedding of their dreams there!

Avanti made our wedding day so special! From the very beginning, Raquel, our event planner was so great with answering all my questions quickly via email. The food was amazing, and as far as I know, our day went smoothly. The only thing that didn't go as planned was the weather. We were planning to be in the garden but it rained and we had to move inside the tent. We were very sad about this but they did a great job of making it look beautiful for our ceremony and brought in a white flower wall. Our day of Coordinator was great too and made everything go as planned. We also stayed in their mansion with some of our wedding party and it was so beautiful and nice to not have to deive anywhere. It truly was the best day of our lives.

My wife & I got married in the Ballroom on 8/27/23 and had the perfect wedding. From start to finish everything was amazing for our special day! Everything was perfect from the venue , to the food , and how the staff were accommodating us and our guests ! Our wedding planner Raquel helped us out through tout the entire thing and was always just a phone call away if we had any questions . She was great and made gave us exactly what we envisioned our day to be ! If I could give her / Avanti Mansion more than 10 stars I would lol . Thanks again Raquel you're the best!!!!

My wife & I got married in the Ballroom on 8/27/23 and had the perfect wedding. From start to finish everything was amazing for our special day! Everything was perfect from the venue , to the food , and how the staff were accommodating us and our guests ! I loved working with both Colleen and when she went out, working with Jessica! Both answered all my questions timely and in detail and I had a lot of questions along the way! My husband and I were recently married and had our beautiful day at the Avanti Mansion. Our day was absolutely perfect and flawless! The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted and was so romantic! Our wedding planner was absolutely amazing, and the staff was incredible. If I could, I would get married over and over again here. This venue (including the bridal suite!!) is breathtaking!

My husband and I were recently married and had our beautiful day at the Avanti Mansion. Our day was absolutely perfect and flawless! The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted and was so romantic! Our wedding planner was absolutely amazing, and the staff was incredible. If I could, I would get married over and over again here. This venue (including the bridal suite!!) is breathtaking!

We got married at Avanti Mansion a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Raquel, one of the wedding planners on staff, was incredible to work with and really helped to make our day so seamless with several special touches and great attention to detail. The space is beautiful and very unique for lots of different photos around the property. We were in the Amore ballroom and between the ballroom, outdoor patio, and ceremony area, I can't wait to see all of our different pictures from our photographer! Our guests told us they had an amazing time and that the food was fantastic- something you don't often hear at weddings. My only wish was that we could've stayed there longer to continue celebrating. We love you, Avanti!

We chose Avanti because of their packages that include food, bar, centerpieces, decor, ceremony venue, and more! We love Avanti Mansion!! The communication, venue, staff, and decorations were all A + in making our day so smooth and fun! Avanti Mansion was the first venue we looked at when planning our wedding. After meeting with Raquel, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Our wedding at Avanti mansion was beautiful and we are so happy with how our day was and will treasure this day!Their food is amazing for wedding venues, we got many compliments of food, their hour devours were so tasty and adorable, good menu options. I also loved how inclusive it is, they take care of dishes/cutlery, have centerpieces you can use, chairs/table easel for seating chart, etc all there so you don't have to worry about those things. All the staff was friendly and professional, they did a great job of making sure we got to eat our own food bringing us food/drink during cocktail hour, etc. However, they don't allow you to the venue until 2 hrs before, this was very stressful. they have a beautiful bridal suite that you can't even use for anything more than a quick photo prop because there is not time to actually get ready I'm it. We had to show up with hair makeup done, just got dressed there, used the champagne and bridal suite for a few photos and then we did first look. It was a scramble to take a few photos before the ceremony (we didn't want to waste all of cocktail hour on photos) and get final touches like arbor flowers, signs, etc all set and then guests start showing up 30 mi before (so really you only have 1.5 not 2 hrs). Other than the 2 hrs before being tight stressful, the rest of the planning and venue was beautiful and we would recommend, it is a beautiful venue with good value for the price and they do a great job overall.

Our wedding at Avanti mansion was beautiful and we are so happy with how our day was and will treasure this day!Their food is amazing for wedding venues, we got many compliments of food, their hour devours were so tasty and adorable, good menu options. I also loved how inclusive it is, they take care of dishes/cutlery, have centerpieces you can use, chairs/table easel for seating chart, etc all there so you don't have to worry about those things. All the staff was friendly and professional, they did a great job of making sure we got to eat our own food bringing us food/drink during cocktail hour, etc. However, they don't allow you to the venue until 2 hrs before, this was very stressful. they have a beautiful bridal suite that you can't even use for anything more than a quick photo prop because there is not time to actually get ready I'm it. We had to show up with hair makeup done, just got dressed there, used the champagne and bridal suite for a few photos and then we did first look. It was a scramble to take a few photos before the ceremony (we didn't want to waste all of cocktail hour on photos) and get final touches like arbor flowers, signs, etc all set and then guests start showing up 30 mi before (so really you only have 1.5 not 2 hrs). Other than the 2 hrs before being tight stressful, the rest of the planning and venue was beautiful and we would recommend, it is a beautiful venue with good value for the price and they do a great job overall.

Colleen is truly a wedding expert and was so patient with us while we were nailing down all of our details. Rachel was an absolute rockstar on the day of and really made sure everything went smoothly during our reception. The venue is gorgeous and has a variety of photo opportunities both inside and out of the property making it perfect no matter what time of year your wedding is. Iâm so incredibly thankful to have had our wedding here; our guests are still raving about it! Weddings are always expensive but the Avanti experience is worth every penny!

Colleen and the Avanti team were great to work with! The food was amazing, the library and ballroom were stunning, and the staff at Avanti is so kind. I was told by many friends and family to be prepared for something unplanned to happen during the wedding, and the unexpected really did happen for us. One of our elderly guests had a medical emergency during our reception (they are okay now!). We had no idea what to do, and Colleen was so professional in helping us continue the evening once they were cared for. She worked with our vendors to extend our night at no extra cost to us, which was something Avanti was not obligated to do. 10/10 recommended this venue and team to work with!!

My husband and I both knew we wanted to get married outside and absolutely loved the garden venue at Avanti Mansion. Itâs absolutely stunning! Colleen was our planner who helped make my dream wedding a reality. She was very communicative always responded to email within 3 days and super accommodating. We wanted a venue that took care of the details. Avanti does that and more. They have different tiers with many options to choice from. We were still able to add extras like Hayburner IPA on tap, an iced coffee station, and extend our coffee hour. Everyone said how delicious the food was were still receiving compliments from our wedding guests. We stayed on property in the mansion after the wedding with some of our bridal party which was super convenient and a lot of fun. The rooms were perfect. The mansion also has beautiful spaces for the bridal party and groomsmen to take getting ready photos. The grounds were beautiful and perfect for our photos. The day of the wedding the event team is awesome. Everything was organized and handled so I didnât have to worry. The event manager coordinated everything with my vendors. The tent has beautiful lighting and there is plenty of space. I choice to do my own centerpieces and ceremony decorations which the staff had set up for my reception. It was truly beautiful. I canât thank them enough for making my special day so magical. I highly recommend Avanti Mansion for all your event needs.

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding! Some people told us of restrictions or some pain points, but we did not experience any of that. Our experience was completely positive from the day we signed our contract. You do have a planner that you work with, but their whole planning team really does work as a team. We were working with one planner who left Avanti about 6 - 7 months before our wedding, and the transition was seamless. We didn't have any issues with the change in planner and didn't need to go over any details again. Kelly was fantastic and got us over the finish line leading to the big day! And Erica on the day of was also fantastic! She took care of us all day and we loved her.The Japanese Garden and the Garden reception venue were stunning. The way the guest seats in the Japanese Garden for the ceremony are built into steps on a hill is unlike anything we had seen before. The reception was beautiful. The bar is beautiful and the dance floor is set up perfectly allowing for a good flow at the reception. The flower chandelier above the dance floor is amazing and I loved that detail.We got so many compliments from our friends and family about the venue - both ceremony and reception - being wonderful and the staff being extremely professional and pleasant. The food was so good! We highly recommend the Live Grill option, it was all delicious!The only thing that I wish was done differently was our dessert service at our sweetheart table. We didn't think to ask for this, so maybe this is on us, but we would have loved to have a dessert plate put together for us from our dessert table. We didn't ask and by the time we realized we hadn't checked out our array of desserts, it was mostly gone. But if that is the only thing we would have changed, it speaks to how great of a venue and team Avanti has.Overall, you cannot go wrong by choosing Avanti for your wedding or other event.

First of all Avanti was absolutely stunning. We loved it from the first time we saw it in 2020. We had our tour in the library and instantly fell in love with the sweetheart staircase. The wedding planner we originally had was fantastic but we had to postpone our planning due to COVID. When we went back to planning in 2022 the staff had changed and our wedding planner was no longer with Avanti. Our new wedding planner was Raquel. Raquel was a decent wedding planner but didn't really go above and beyond like the original wedding planner did. What was nice was that she was very clear on everything that was included for free but not very specific on what costs extra. I admit the tacked on prices were listed in our proposal but we're never vocalized and I feel like that was kind of shady of Avanti and our wedding planner. The vegetarian option was under the \"special meal\" extra cost even though it was offered and they charged us also for double chicken. I think charging $330 because a few more people don't want the pork is ridiculous. Plus they were gonna charge us $200 to put curtains up because they put our sweetheart table in front of a window that has a view of the parking lot! The tacked on prices that we were not verbally told about was not professional or fair. Other than that our day was perfect Arrika our event manager and Lauren our sweet hostess were absolutely God sent and made everything run smoothly and exactly how we wanted. Food was phenomenal everyone raved about it. And even afterwards they whole cleanup team did everything for us all the tables and decorations they took care of and packed up for us which was so helpful. So on Arrika and Laurens part couldn't have asked for better. All in all it was a perfect day and Avanti was the right choice despite the rules and regulations they have.

We had our wedding at the Avanti mansion despite hearing some bad reviews, and I am so glad we decided to go with them anyway. The service they provided us was beyond phenomenal, even to the point where they noticed we didnât have much time to eat our dinner so they packed us up two separate dinners and put them in the mansion where we were staying to have later on that night. They also gave us champagne, bagels, fruit etc for the morning after. During the wedding they quite literally waited on us hand and foot and always made sure we had a drink and anything else we needed. They even went as far as to get a golf cart and drove my mother in law all around the grounds since she has MS and has difficulty walking, but she didnât miss a thing because of them. They are as close to a one stop shop as you can get for your wedding and for any other brides who donât have family in town to help with the wedding planning like myself I really canât recommend them enough, they were life savers. I couldnât have imagined a more beautiful wedding or perfect day and it was all thanks to Avantiâs incredible team!

My husband and I live in California, but were getting married in Buffalo where he is from, so it was really important that we found a venue with good communication. Working with the Avanti Planning Team was an exceptional experience because they are in frequent contact, remind you of upcoming dates, respond promplty, and answer any/all questions. They really work to make your day exactly what you want to be. The day of the reception we got to use the bridal suite upstairs to freshen up which was perfect before the cocktail hour. Everyone there was super helpful and got drinks for the wedding party as soon as we arrived. The Amore Ballroom was so beautiful from the napkins (choose from a variety of colors), uplighting, candle centerpieces (rented from Avanti), and table arrangements. We also opted to add the outdoor patio & bar which was a huge hit! We got tons of compliments on how nice it was to have some outdoor space. Addtionally, we got lots of compliments on how good the food and table wine was (we opted for the tuscan chicken and steak dual plate , salad, bread, and potatoes + cabernet/chardonnay for table wine)! Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience. Super organized, very beautiful, and delicious food. Thanks so much for making our day unforgettable!

We were originally supposed to be married here in June of 2021 but because of the uncertainty of the pandemic we made the decision to postpone until July 2021. We had the absolute best day and could not have asked for a better venue. Communication throughout the entire process was amazing! We did lose a $1,000 deposit because we had to postpone but that was not anyones fault and we completely understood given the circumstances. We started with Angie helping us and when she was no longer available Kelly was so quick to get on board and knew every part of our wedding and was absolutely amazing to work with. We had planned for our wedding to be outside in the Japanese garden but when a sunny day turned gray 40 minutes before the wedding she was SO quick to switch everything over and make sure everything was equally as beautiful. My now husband and I are so thankful for choosing this amazing venue and could not have asked for anything better. Food was absolutely amazing and guests were talking about it for weeks afterwards!! 10/10 would recommend this venue to anyone!

We were originally supposed to be married here in June of 2021 but because of the uncertainty of the pandemic we made the decision to postpone until July 2021. We had the absolute best day and could not have asked for a better venue. Communication throughout the entire process was amazing! We did lose a $1,000 deposit because we had to postpone but that was not anyones fault and we completely understood given the circumstances. We started with Angie helping us and when she was no longer available Kelly was so quick to get on board and knew every part of our wedding and was absolutely amazing to work with. We had planned for our wedding to be outside in the Japanese garden but when a sunny day turned gray 40 minutes before the wedding she was SO quick to switch everything over and make sure everything was equally as beautiful. My now husband and I are so thankful for choosing this amazing venue and could not have asked for anything better. Food was absolutely amazing and guests were talking about it for weeks afterwards!! 10/10 would recommend this venue to anyone!

Avanti and their team were amazing!! Everyone we met was so nice and accommodating to everything we wanted for the wedding. The setting is great because you can really incorporate any theme you want, we went with a fairy/whimsical theme, but we could totally see the venue fitting with so many other themes, as well. For such a beautiful setting, itâs also surprisingly affordable. The basic plan includes catering and many other cool features. The wed and breakfast was also a very romantic space that was so worth it. I highly recommend booking your wedding with Avanti!!

Our consultant was Colleen and she was so patient with all my emails and phone calls, she responded in a very timely manner and kept me up to date with everything needed for my reception. Finally, we were able to get married last Dec 2021, as we postponed the celebration last Sept 2020. But still got married. We had our civil wedding too with Avanti Mansion, but just ceremony, to our original venue, which is the Japanese Garden. Colleen is our planner. Very helpful and accommodating. Answered all our questions, during the pandemic, and the change of plans. On our wedding day last 2021, we avail a day of coordinator, since we don't want to be stressed on that day, and might need some help. Colleen, however is not available on that day. But Kelly is. And she's so helpful too. Especially during the weeks to our wedding day. We couldn't ask for more. She executed it properly, for all the things we asked. We got married in library venue and had our reception at the ballroom. It was so amazing. We had a wonderful time, and the place is newly renovated, looks so great and it sync to our motif. Food, desserts, drink were great. Our guests had a great night too. Communication was never a problem with them. In February of 2019, we met Angie at Avanti Mansion. She completely sold us and we immediately put down our deposit for our 2020 wedding. Angie was there the day of the wedding even though she did not have to be and that made a world of difference and showed how much she cared. The wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious, our guests couldn't stop talking about the food. No wedding is perfect, but it's what you make of it! My Bride and I selected this location for our August 2021 wedding. Our wedding was very small with no dinner on site (About 40 total people including the wedding party). We had few requests for that day that we had coordinated with Angie. We practiced the procession the day before the wedding. On the wedding day, Angie was not going to be there.1. The officiator from the Avanti came to me 5 min before the ceremony saying that she wasn't sure if we had a viable marriage certificate and that she'd continue with the ceremony and work out the legality later. We had asked at rehearsal if the music would be loud enough, but it wasn't. We couldn't really hear the music as we walked down the garden aisle.3. The young woman placed in charge that day had no clue what we had planned for the day. She asked questions and got things wrong, or just didn't pay attention.4. They didn't even set up a microphone under the tent for announcements and the sand ceremony which occurred under the tent after the ceremony.5. An email to Angie after the ceremony providing this identical feedback had not been answered.The Avanti Mansion is a beautiful location, but they need staff that know what is happening.

10/10 would recommend!!!!!! Angie was Amazing throughout the entire process from October 2019 until the day of. She made the entire process seem so smooth and my questions were always answered within a day at most. We had a lot of guests who have not been to a wedding at Avanti in a bit, and they could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was! I especially want to say shout of Avanti for accommodating our guests with dietary needs. One of my guests who is gluten free said it was not only the best meal she had at a wedding, but this was the first time staff came up to the table to see who was gluten free and made sure she received the correct meal. She mentioned a lot of the times venues forget about the special meals. Overall everything really went so perfect on such a perfect day. I will continue to recommend Avanti to everyone looking for a venue. They have it down to a science!I lastly want to do a huge extra special thank you to the suite coordinator Haylee. WOW she was amazing!!!! She was part of the fun, but made sure every request was filled. I had a lot of the bridal party as well as guests come up to me and say how awesome Haylee was to work with. We were supposed to have our wedding with family and friends, but because of pandemic, we have to postponed it to next year. We decided to get married in Japanese Garden with just ceremony, and our photos just looks awesome in it. We are looking forward to our traditional wedding next year with them again.

Second, despite a Pandemic, Avanti Mansion has been a considerate, accommodating, and welcoming place to plan a wedding. My fiancĂŠ and I started planning our big day well before the pandemic hit, we even signed a contract with Avanti for a large ceremony and reception for February 2021. When the pandemic hit it changed all of it, but Avanti Mansion was there to reassure us that we will still get a day to remember and have a beautiful ceremony to say I DO. We met with Avanti in August 2020, where they offered us an array of options for our big day from small to big (NYS regulations in mind). They even allowed us to transfer the money we already paid into other options. We didnât lose a single cent of money, and they still honored their postponement options in case of another lockdown or even bad weather. Our wedding day isnât what we thought it would be due to the global health crisis, but Avanti has been so helpful in making sure we still get the wedding of our dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is so delicious, and the employees are pleasant, beyond understanding, and accommodating. I donât think we would have this kind of help and empathy from many other venues. Couples and Venues are having to redefine a lot right now; I am just happy that we are working with Avanti â Laurie and Colleen have been absolutely wonderful to work with. I cannot wait till my wedding day â I know it will be memorable and amazing in the hands of the professionals at Avanti Mansion. Wear a mask, wash your hands, and stay safe!!

As the bride in the previous negative reviews, I felt compelled to clarify some of the facts. My mom, now husband & I fell in love with this venue in 2018. We shortly placed a deposit of $1000 to book a 10/2020 wedding. It was a year before we spoke again, where they requested $2000. We obliged, as per our contract. Once NYS shutdown in March, my mother & I reached out, asking for a delay in the next $6000 they were requesting in April. With the circumstances, we didn't want to put money toward an event we couldn't have. They agreed, & we continued discussions. My mom & I had a total of 4 phone calls with them, asking what the COVID protocols were. In April, they told us that weddings would be back to full capacity in July. We continued to stress that we didn't believe that, but we wanted to work things out. I was concerned for the health of my autoimmune compromised guests, considering that my mother is currently receiving cancer treatments. I decided to reduce our guests to 50 & move into a smaller room for the sake of safety. I was told this was possible, & that we would communicate with them about going forward.A week later that I received an email, stating that if I were to go with this new plan that I lose my âexclusive useâ of the space. This is unlike their review, which stated I didn't want to pay for this. This service was one of the reasons we wanted to stay. However, it was made clear that if they could add another event on my date, they would. Loosing this didnât sit well-- I wasn't willing to risk my guestsâ health. When I made my final call to them, I was given 4 options:1. Have my wedding with the 50 people & share the space with another event.2. Move my wedding to 2021, which I was told would require me to put down ANOTHER $1000 deposit & forfeit the previous one. I was also told that events in 2021 would cost more. We have been planning our wedding for 2 years. We just wanted to get married.3. We could have an afternoon wedding in October, but it wasn't guaranteed that we wouldn't have to share the venue.4. Cancel our wedding.Unlike the vendorâs review, I wasnât content with my cancellation. I couldn't imagine trying to plan a wedding where I would have to put people in harmâs way or pay more money to move it. Anyone would have chosen the same. It has become apparent that the negative reviews I have heard about this venue were true. As someone who fell in love with a dream wedding here, I can understand how someone could overlook this. However, I could no longer stand idly by. My parents & I only requested 50% of our money back, because we understood that it was not their fault nor ours. They refused. We lost $3000 & our dream wedding due to something out of our own control. While the venue was correct in saying my husband & I did get married in June, it wasn't our first plan. We decided to get married due to my momâs cancer diagnosis. We were married with 10 people, socially distanced, in our wedding plannerâs shop. While it was great, we didnât run off & find another venue as implied. This was done for fact that my husband and I love each other & wanted to get married.I would advise anyone looking to book here to STRONGLY think about how you want to be treated in a situation like this. While we were clients, they were professional & understanding about the wedding we wanted. However, it turned quite ugly pretty quickly. While I forgive them, I do not want someone else to have to deal with something like this.

I was concerned for the health of my autoimmune compromised guests, considering that my mother is currently receiving cancer treatments. I decided to reduce our guests to 50 & move into a smaller room for the sake of safety. I was told this was possible, & that we would communicate with them about going forward.A week later that I received an email, stating that if I were to go with this new plan that I lose my âexclusive useâ of the space. This is unlike their review, which stated I didn't want to pay for this. This service was one of the reasons we wanted to stay. However, it was made clear that if they could add another event on my date, they would. Loosing this didnât sit well-- I wasn't willing to risk my guestsâ health. When I made my final call to them, I was given 4 options:1. Have my wedding with the 50 people & share the space with another event.2. Move my wedding to 2021, which I was told would require me to put down ANOTHER $1000 deposit & forfeit the previous one. I was also told that events in 2021 would cost more. We have been planning our wedding for 2 years. We just wanted to get married.3. We could have an afternoon wedding in October, but it wasn't guaranteed that we wouldn't have to share the venue.4. Cancel our wedding.Unlike the vendorâs review, I wasnât content with my cancellation. I couldn't imagine trying to plan a wedding where I would have to put people in harmâs way or pay more money to move it. Anyone would have chosen the same. It has become apparent that the negative reviews I have heard about this venue were true. As someone who fell in love with a dream wedding here, I can understand how someone could overlook this. However, I could no longer stand idly by. My parents & I only requested 50% of our money back, because we understood that it was not their fault nor ours. They refused. We lost $3000 & our dream wedding due to something out of our own control. While the venue was correct in saying my husband & I did get married in June, it wasn't our first plan. We decided to get married due to my momâs cancer diagnosis. We were married with 10 people, socially distanced, in our wedding plannerâs shop. While it was great, we didnât run off & find another venue as implied. This was done for fact that my husband and I love each other & wanted to get married.I would advise anyone looking to book here to STRONGLY think about how you want to be treated in a situation like this. While we were clients, they were professional & understanding about the wedding we wanted. However, it turned quite ugly pretty quickly. While I forgive them, I do not want someone else to have to deal with something like this.

We were searching for a ballroom that would offer an inclusive room where everyone would feel like they were apart of the action and that is exactly what the Amore Ballroom provides. My favorite part of planning with Avanti was truly how much they do for you. Their staff & planning team really can make anything you are imagining come to life and do it so wonderfully. On top of all the compliments we had from how beautiful our day was, people absolutely raved about the food. I can't count the number of people who told me this was the best wedding food they have ever had in their life. While it was a bit pricier than other venues, there was just so much included and already done for us that made it so worth it. For a big, crazy, Lebanese wedding (with lots and lots of special requests), Avanti really knocked it out of the park. We will remember this day & their venue forever! We love you Angie, thank you for everything!!

The outdoor Japanese Garden ceremony area, the new reception tent, the outdoor garden area for cocktail hour, the mansion including the bridal suite and the bed and breakfast rooms for overnight, the food (crazy good), the service (flawless), the decor.....everything was beautifully done and executed. We received nothing but compliments from every guest that attended and looking back, we all agree we couldn't have chosen a better venue for the wedding. I had alot of dress so one of the people that worked there helped me get my food so I could hold onto my dress as I walked. Colleen and the Avanti Mansion staff were amazing from day 1 when we found our perfect place to get married. We were planning our wedding long distance and Colleen made the process easy. Everything was set out just as we discuss the day before and the Venus looked amazing! The house manager was amazing too. She got everything we needed and was so professional. My husband and I just got married on January 19th. Our wedding planner was Colleen and from the moment I met her I knew avanti was the place I would get married!! Avanti was the last placed I look at and I was very close to giving up. Colleen spent hours with my mother and I giving us the proper attention I was looking for with a beautiful facility to accompany her. I knew after meeting with her avanti was the place! Through the process Colleen was always there for me and willing to meet. She never rushed me and always gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and clarify anything. The night of my wedding we had a snow storm and avanti was on top of the situation making sure the area was plowed and the wedding was perfect. Avanti exceeded my every expectation. My ceremony was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff was a pleasure to work with. I couldnât of asked for a more perfect wedding. I did not have to worry about a thing since avanti had it covered!

My husband and I just got married on January 19th. Our wedding planner was Colleen and from the moment I met her I knew avanti was the place I would get married!! Avanti was the last placed I look at and I was very close to giving up. Colleen spent hours with my mother and I giving us the proper attention I was looking for with a beautiful facility to accompany her. I knew after meeting with her avanti was the place! Through the process Colleen was always there for me and willing to meet. She never rushed me and always gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and clarify anything. The night of my wedding we had a snow storm and avanti was on top of the situation making sure the area was plowed and the wedding was perfect. Avanti exceeded my every expectation. My ceremony was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff was a pleasure to work with. I couldnât of asked for a more perfect wedding. I did not have to worry about a thing since avanti had it covered!

As an out of town bride Avanti Mansion was amazing! They were so accommodating.We first fell in love with the venue when we went to visit over a long weekend in October. Angie was amazing and helped us with all our questions. Even when we went back to NYC, she responded quickly to any of our concerns and even took the time to walk us through the contract over the phone. Planning the wedding was so simple with Avanti, they were able to accommodate planning calls and skype with us, and always made sure they could meet with us when we made it into town. The day of the wedding was flawless, everything ran smoothly, the staff was amazing. They even brought us appetizers while we were taking pictures during the cocktail hour. I was nervous since almost the entire wedding party was from out of town and a snowstorm hit the day of the rehearsal. Many of the bridesmaids and all the groomsmen couldn't make it to the rehearsal, however, the staff helped to run them through everything prior to the wedding and it went off without a hitch. We also brought in some of our dĂŠcor and table decorations and the staff set up everything perfectly! The whole wedding looked amazing and the attention to detail was greatly appreciated!About halfway through planning the wedding I also ended up switching jobs, Colleen and Angie were beyond accommodating. My time became very tight and they were great to work with and always on top of things that needed to get done, bringing to my attention any key items that needed decisions or actions.All the guests loved the wedding and had an amazing time, we would highly recommend the crepe station if you book!

Once we were in Buffalo, the staff was accommodating when we made several visits to the site. The entire process was done professionally and efficiently. Our wedding day was perfect from beginning to end. Our guests are still raving about our fairytale wedding. The hand served hors d'oeuvres and our dinner was exquisite. The Amore Library was tastefully decorated and quaint for our ceremony and reception. We stayed in the historic Mansion for our wedding night as part of their Wed and Breakfast along with three of our out of town family members. The beds were heavenly and it was a perfect setting for relaxing after a long glorious day. We highly recommend The Avanti Mansion if you want a unique, beautiful setting with delicious food and professional staff. My only recommendation to the Avanti is to provide better lighting in the bridal suite to apply make-up

My mom, husband and I fell absolutely in love with the Avanti Mansion the second we walked into the doors. We had looked at several other wedding venues and had talked about cancelling our meeting at the Avanti Mansion because we had thought we found our place â somebody was looking out for us and knew the Avanti Mansion was the venue of our dream wedding and suddenly all of the other venues we looked at were erased from our memory as we were overwhelmed by the beauty and elegance of the Avanti Mansion and knew it was meant to be. We booked our wedding at the Avanti Mansion almost three years in advance (tip #1 â book as early as you can!) and was the first in my family to plan a wedding â which is where my accolades to Angie come in. Angie was so quick to answer all of my emails and all of my random questions, that I most likely asked her more than once. With having such a long engagement, our planning timeline was a little different than most. Angie kept me on track and gave me good ideas of what I should be doing and when; something I truly appreciate and know anyone else who chooses to work with this amazing staff will as well. Angie even stayed on the evening of our wedding to watch us say our âI dosâ because she had helped us plan for so long â she is the epitome of the worldâs best wedding planner and we cannot thank her enough.We were married in the library on December 1 â it was the perfect, quaint, elegant look we were going for on a cold winterâs night. This room exuded a warm and welcoming vibe and I couldnât have imagined our ceremony taking place anywhere else. (Tip #2 â if you choose to go this route for your ceremony, bring your shoes to practice in â walking down the beautiful sweetheart staircase). Our reception was held in the ballroom â as elegant as elegant can be! Prior to the ceremony, the bridal parties had access to the bridal suites which were stocked with fruit, cheese, soda, water â you name it! This was such an impressive touch and was appreciated by all of the bridal party; as were the drinks and hors dâoeuvres that were passed to the bridal party specifically while taking pictures during cocktail hour (one of my personal favorite touches of the night)! The Avanti Mansion holds you to a strict schedule the day of your wedding, which for someone, like me, who likes to have a schedule, is great, but if youâre more whimsical you may not like it as much. They communicate with you that you should arrive at certain times, your ceremony time, your specific cocktail hour window, reception time and when you are required to leave the building; this made things go very smoothly.The night went seamlessly. We did not have to worry about any details, whatsoever. The staff was extremely accommodating throughout the planning process and the day of â anything we asked was addressed and seen through. The food was excellent â people are still raving about it. We also chose also have a champagne greeting, bubbly bar which was complimented a lot as well; as was the late-night station.It is a gorgeous, phenomenal venue with remarkable people at the core who go the extra measure to make sure your day is everything you could ever imagine and more. Choosing to host our wedding here was an easy decision and one of the best; we will remember this day for the rest of our lives and it is because of the Avanti Mansion that we were able to enjoy our day completely without having to worry about anything but each other.

The place is beautiful, the staff is great, food is fantastic, but there were a few things that could have been that would have made it perfect. We got married on a Friday and had a buses bringing guests from downtown so there was going to be traffic. Our ceremony was scheduled to start at 5:15 and Avanti said if they leave by 4:45 the buses would be on time. We asked to move everything back 15 min, just 15 min, but that was too much for them because the timeline was already set in stone(over a month before the wedding). Well the buses were late, we didn't start till around 5:45 so that time got cut out of the cocktail hour. The problem we had was that they didn't open up the bar during dinner for the lost time, we paid for the 5 hours of bar time but only got a little more than 4. Even though our wedding was set in stone, the rehearsal apparently was not. The latest time you can have one is 4 pm, which is fine, but they changed in to 3pm, about 3 weeks prior. That is not very practical for out of town people, nothing we can do about that.One other thing was our original wedding coordinator, Angie, who is great, was expecting that week so she wasn't able to attend with our wedding. Obviously understandable, so someone else replaced her for the rehearsal and the wedding. She was fine, didn't seem to know much during the rehearsal, and was there at the beginning of the wedding but then just left at someone point and didn't tell anyone, which is not very professional.Overall like I said before, the place is beautiful, we had a great time, but they could have made it easier. They are very strict to their rules and do not bend. The pricing bracket is nice, but they do make you count all of your vendors as guests, which moved us up a bracket. They re did their packages and pricing right after we booked so we were locked in the old one, but the new ones look a little better. I would recommend this place, just be sure you have everything is place, since they are not flexible.

My husband and I had our wedding on 9/8 of this year. Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff had everything taken care of and I didnât have to worry about a thing on the big day! The planning process was pretty smooth as well. All of the wedding planner girls were so much help whenever I sent an email, call or dropped by! This venue is absolutely beautiful. We chose the garden reception and got to take beautiful pictures by the pond and our guests got to roam the property as well. We got so many compliments on everything from the property to the food to the service! The Avanti Mansion does have more strict rules compared to other venues we visited, but nothing that made us change our minds. I would pick Avanti Mansion over and over again! However, hoping to just have this one wedding to remember! â¤ď¸âşď¸

I wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars, because 5 just simply isnât enough! From our first tour of the venue to our wedding day, the Avanti Mansion exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were planning our wedding long-distance, so we needed to work with people who we could feel confident about trusting with our event since we couldnât make frequent trips to Buffalo. By the end of our first meeting with Angie, we knew our wedding reception was in good hands; she was highly experienced and presented herself so professionally and was able to answer all our questions right away. My husband and I even had a moment when we got in the car to leave that tour when we knew Avanti would be our venue. Angie also connected us to what became our dream team of vendors âthis plus all the options that were included with our package made most of our wedding planning a one-stop shop which made our planning experience much smoother from hundreds of miles away. SPACE: we chose the indoor space (ballroom) which was beautiful, spacious, and comfortably accomodated our 170 guests. FOOD: as avid food lovers, this was one of THE most important elements of our wedding that my husband and I deeply cared about and one of the key factors in our choosing this venue. We wanted food that our guests would talk about for years to come, and Avanti definitely did not disappoint. Our friends and family are still raving about the food, and we ourselves were able to enjoy our meal thanks to the efficient event staff who made sure we were able to actually sit down and eat! The sesame ginger meatballs, crab-stuffed shrimp, our crepe station were all huge hits. The menu selection at Avanti has numerous options to fit everyoneâs wants, tastes, budget, and even theme. I could go on for days about the food. STAFF: because we were fortunate to attend not only our food preview in March but also the 1000th Wedding party hosted by Avanti in November, we were able to experience the exceptional service of the waitstaff not once but 3 times! We especially remembered Dorry (?) who worked at all 3 events, always energetic, warm and friendly and with a genuine smile. Ericka (?) who was our personal event manager for the evening also kept our evening pleasant by making sure we were able to enjoy our appetizers in the bridal suite before our entrance and making sure we got a piece of our wedding cake! DJ: we chose Avantiâs in-house DJ, Ken. Ken had an amazing energy all night and played a fun age-diverse selection of music which kept our guests on the dance floor all evening. DJ Ken was also key in keeping us on track all night and made sure we had ample time to visit with our guests but also get our traditional dances/activities in. He was very well-versed in the âflowâ of the evening, weâre happy we chose him rather than hiring outside. Last but not least, COMMUNICATION: the Avanti staff were consistent in always responding to us within 24-48 hours by both phone and email and always had an acceptable answer for all our questions, especially in the few weeks leading up to our wedding. All in all, I highly recommend Avanti Mansion and if the opportunity arises I would choose them for hosting any of our future events. If youâre still shopping around for the wedding venue of your dreams, look no further than Avanti. Weddings are their business and we were lucky to experience them firsthand and see for ourselves that all their top-notch awards and acclaims are well-deserved.

We especially remembered Dorry (?) who worked at all 3 events, always energetic, warm and friendly and with a genuine smile. Ericka (?) who was our personal event manager for the evening also kept our evening pleasant by making sure we were able to enjoy our appetizers in the bridal suite before our entrance and making sure we got a piece of our wedding cake! DJ: we chose Avantiâs in-house DJ, Ken. Ken had an amazing energy all night and played a fun age-diverse selection of music which kept our guests on the dance floor all evening. DJ Ken was also key in keeping us on track all night and made sure we had ample time to visit with our guests but also get our traditional dances/activities in. He was very well-versed in the âflowâ of the evening, weâre happy we chose him rather than hiring outside. Last but not least, COMMUNICATION: the Avanti staff were consistent in always responding to us within 24-48 hours by both phone and email and always had an acceptable answer for all our questions, especially in the few weeks leading up to our wedding. All in all, I highly recommend Avanti Mansion and if the opportunity arises I would choose them for hosting any of our future events. If youâre still shopping around for the wedding venue of your dreams, look no further than Avanti. Weddings are their business and we were lucky to experience them firsthand and see for ourselves that all their top-notch awards and acclaims are well-deserved.

This past summer my husband and I had our wedding in the outdoor Garden Reception area of Avanti Mansion. We selected Avanti Mansion in light of its gorgeous outdoor wedding space and accompanying indoor space, the cost in comparison to what you receive, and lastly our interactions with Angie who is one of the Wedding Coordinators there. From the moment I contacted them, I was impressed with the level of professionalism shown by each and every member of their staff. Kelly, our wedding coordinator, was on top of everything and made sure that our night was positively flawless. We loved the fact that working with Avanti was so much easier than other local reception halls we had looked at. They helped with everything from our Save the Date cards and invitations right down to the DJ that performed that night. The venue itself is gorgeous and made for some stunning photos, the food was amazing (people are still talking about it!), the bartenders were awesome, and the DJ kept the party going all night! I would highly recommend this location for a beautiful, fun, and spectacular wedding

Our experience at Avanti was phenomenal. It was a relatively hands off, low maintenance wedding that everyone said looked classy and perfect. We booked the Amore Mansion - the ceremony was behind the Ballroom, cocktails were served in the Library and the reception was in the Ballroom. Our consultant, Angie, made sure that we were 100% comfortable and tailored our wedding to what we wanted as opposed to tedious recommendations and attempts to up-sell us. Their packages are complete and true to form. The Amore Mansion is gorgeous on its own and their decorations and linens mean that you don't have to bring anything in (I didn't and everyone thought it was gorgeous). I had rave reviews about the class, the helpful staff and the great food. We had the lowest tier available and my guests thought we were at the top tier. Amazing, hands off venue for the bride who does NOT want to spend hundreds of hours on decorations. They take care of everything for you. Super nice, hospitable and make you the center of your day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were married at the Avanti Mansion back in September 2016. Altogether, the experience we had with the Avanti Mansion is a tale of 2 parts. The one the day of the wedding and the days leading up to the wedding. Part 2 is why it gets such a low rating.Part 1: The day of the wedding. Getting married on the little island and having a great celebration outside in the tent, was pretty amazing. It is the same size as the main ballroom inside, and you don't feel that you are outside. It is well done.The food, well I couldn't walk to one person without them raving about it. It's the best food I had at a wedding and all of our guests would agree with that. All of our guests also had a great time, which is all we could ask for on the wedding day, which made the day a great success.The only negative was something we heard the day after the wedding. One of my dear family friends went up to DJ Kenny and requested a song. He answered her \"I already played one song for you old people and you didn't dance.\" I wish I would have heard that the day of the wedding, because something would have been said. Part 2:This part is for anyone looking to get married at the Avanti Mansion. Remember that your Wedding Day is one day but it takes a long time getting ready for that day. You hope to be able to have a good working relationship with the person or persons coordinating your wedding. In my opinion, they are in the customer service business and all people getting married should feel they have the undivided attention of their wedding coordinator. This certainly did not happen in our case. We worked with Kelly, and from what I have seen on other reviews, people have said she is good to great.She did not fall into that category with us. For someone to be great, I would expect them to be in constant communication when asked a question via email. I would hope they always are willing to go that extra mile to help the paying customers. We had multiple situations that really bothered me. We would reach out to her via email and either would not hear back or would receive a 1 -2 sentence answer that did not answer our question. In a few cases, it took her 2 weeks to get back to us. The worst scenario was when we did not receive an answer for 1 month. When I send an email and am spending thousands of dollars, I expect at least an email response stating that \"I will look into this\" or something like that, within a day or two. No communication is inconsiderate, unprofessional and shows an unwillingness to work with your clients. It was so bad at one point that I reached out to other venues to see if they had our date still available and I would have taken a loss on the deposit. Be sure to ask to have all of the proper paper work as well. When we made our deposit we received papers of what would be included in our wedding but these changed and we were never given notice of changes until we met with them. They seemed surprised we did not know about these changes.Lastly, watch and check your invoice. It took me 3 times to get the correct invoice. And to go along with this, when giving my final payment they said I owed a $500.00 Security Deposit which was not in our contract. When my wife said it was not in our contract, they said \"We forgot to put it in.\" This was 10 days before the wedding. Customer service goes a long way and they certainly did not live up to our expectations.
