This is the only hotel that has a beach on it's property on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The private beach was perfect for the intimate wedding ceremony of our dreams. The terrace area had a gorgeous view of the beach. Cathy Fox always responded to our emails on a timely manner and answered all of our questions. She provided amazing customer service. Miguel managed the catering staff extremely well and the food, including the appetizers were amazing. This is a great venue because the guests do not have to travel to different parts of the wedding celebration and the beach is wide and picturesque. The wedding suite had the best view of the house and was stunning!

My husband and I are Florida locals and knew we wanted to have a venue that allowed our guests to get a taste of Florida, and B Ocean allowed us to do just that. The hotel is beautiful and situated right on the beach, a treat for any guests who are coming from out of town. The spaces within the venue are beautiful and can provide a unique feel depending on what you choose. We chose to do an indoor ceremony and reception, both spaces with large windows overlooking the beach and ocean. Our guests loved it! We did work with 3 different venue coordinators during our 2 year planning process, and although the change in coordinators was not ideal, each was extremely caring and attentive to our needs. It was clear that they cared about our wedding, our experience and us as a couple. We never once felt like we were \"just another number\". During a bulk of our planning process, we worked with Naomi who was extremely responsive and flexible. She helped us to coordinate our food tasting where we requested Haitian dishes which the Chef and his team executed amazingly. We got so many compliments on our wedding food. My husband and I visited B Ocean a few times to look at the site and to ask questions, visits that the staff were always willing to accommodate. On the day of our wedding, we worked with Karen, who did a great job working with our day of coordinator and other vendors to make sure our event ran smoothly. She always made it a point to check in on me and my husband to make sure we were doing okay which was very appreciated. We organized a courtesy block which we unfortunately had some challenges with during our planning process, but were able to resolve these issues.Overall, we had a fantastic experience working with B Ocean and would recommend them to couples looking for a venue in Ft. Lauderdale!

Amazing venue ! We rented the point room and terrace for our formal event. The view was beautiful and the room is so pretty not a lot of extra decor is needed. The food stations were delicious and the liquor was premium. The staff was absolutely amazing with the guests and with the set up. I was able to stay on budget and still have a party to go down in the books! The rooms were really nice as well. The beach is one of the best in south Florida !

We’re so glad we had our wedding at B Ocean! The staff was great throughout the whole process. Joffrey was our main contact through the whole process and he was great to work with. We can’t thank him enough. Due to Covid we had to reschedule and they were very accommodating. Helped us figure out a new date and made the process of rescheduling as pain free as possible. We definitely recommend having your wedding at B Ocean. The beach ceremony was perfect and we had our reception in a room that overlooked the beach. The food is always amazing there. Ok, I picked this resort as our destination venue blindly just after speaking with Joffrey on the phone. It just felt right & I couldn’t have picked a better one. It’s a beautiful place. The food- so good! The service- even better! Our family discussed how we will return again in the future just to vacation. It’s close to the strip (15 min walk) but far enough away that’s it’s not too crazy. The private beach and multiple pools to chose from just makes it even better. The mermaid shows are so fun! Goodness, I can’t wait to visit again!

We booked with them a year out and they were very helpful in providing vendors in the area that they trusted and had worked with in the past. They packages are affordable and even include your wedding cake! The best part was our rehearsal dinner was able to incorporate the infamous mermaid show at the Wreck Bar. My husband and I recently got married at The B Ocean Resort (June 25, 2016). While they are undergoing construction, we still had an incredible wedding on the beach with a wonderful reception in the ballroom. To be honest, the main ballroom overlooking the beach wasn't ready, so we had to have it in the ballroom downstairs, kind of a huge bummer but we made it work. They were really good to us and compensated us for the inconvenience in a few areas.With that being said, Mark Semple, the coordinator, did everything in his power to make up for the difference! He is truly amazing and B Ocean is lucky to have him. We live in California and had been planning this with him for a year. He was so great from the time I woke up until it was time for me to walk down the aisle, he really made it amazing. We chose to use the Pastor through him as well as the cake company, and Watermill Flowers, all of which were awesome. Fortunately, we were able to make a few trips to FL to make the planning a lot easier on all of us. There is nothing more amazing than a wedding on the beach as the sun is going down. We were so blessed to have no rain too! It truly was a dream come true for the both of us. We thank Mark from the bottom our hearts. I would recommend having your wedding here, hands down.

We couldn't of asked for a better location for our destination wedding. We originally booked our wedding when the B was the Sheraton. We were initially worried that our contract with the Sheraton wouldn't carry over with the new ownership, little did we know we'd have nothing to worry about. The B honored our every detail. They went above and beyond what we expected, including the AMAZING room upgrade that Mark Semple surprised us with. We brought 80 of our closest family members and friends who all made wonderful vacations out of the trip. This was our 3rd time staying at the Sheraton/B Ocean and we will be back. It is in such a great location to bars, restaurants, nightlife, not to mention the private beach, which is hard to come by in Ft Laudy. The service we received was exceptional. I felt I could relax and everything was taken care of for me. From our cake, food, linens, centerpieces, chairs, open bar, ceremony, cocktail hour, complimentary wedding night, along with a discounted rate etc. Everything you can think of was included. The only extras we had to book were photography, DJ and hair/make-up. It was nice having everything bundled into one package. Our staff during the reception took care of everything while we danced the night away and enjoyed the party. I wish I remembered our bartenders names because kudos to them! It was a true fairytale come true having our destination wedding at the B. My only complaint is it went by too fast. I've already booked another trip to Ft. Laudy and you betch ya we are staying at the B. Thank you to Mark and the rest of the the staff at the B.

Our wedding was a dream come true! My husband and I are well pleased with the staff from the B Ocean Resort. Our overall experience was wonderful. Our coordinator, who is also the Director of Catering, Mark Semple, was phenomenal. He was patient, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was intact and our schedule ran smoothly. Our guest have not stopped saying how beautiful everything was and the food from the reception was exquisite!

I recently had my wedding at this hotel. They did an amazing job! Linda an Emily were the coordinators. They did a great job of making sure everything was what we wanted. Emily was amazing the day of the wedding. She checked on me and made sure we had everything I needed. They even gave us champaign, snacks, and treats while the girls and I got ready.\r\rAt the wedding, everything went smooth and on time. The food was amazing! The guests really enjoyed it, and said it was better than any wedding food the had.\r\rThis was an amazing venue!

I was a bride who lived out of state and found everything through theknot, including this venue. The Sheraton hotel was fabulous! I started planning my wedding in June of 13 (my wedding was Dec ’13) and was in complete contact with the hotel from the beginning. Every time I had a question or multiple, I always had a response back. Nothing was more than a few days and that really helped since I lived out of state. No matter how much I emailed, the hotel was very patient and kind. Emily Payne was my wedding consultant and I was very happy to have her help me! She was great and made sure everything ran smoothly! I also worked with Jiwon Park, who helped coordinate the rooms and was also very accommodating to my needs. The hotel service was excellent, food, George, who helped with the day of the wedding was great, and the staff was great as well. They even brought up my wedding accessories (guest book, lanterns, etc) back to my hotel suite and made the room ready for us newlyweds. The day of the wedding, everyone was there to help me with anything possible. I recommend any bride who is looking for a beach wedding, to book with the hotel. They were great!!! This place is beautiful! But that is where the good stuff ends! They got everything wrong from forgetting our bar, serving the wrong food at the reception to over charging my guests! Horrible service too!! So sad this place lacks a good staff because it just ruins everything! Even the wedding planner left in the middle of the wedding! Insane.

This place is beautiful! But that is where the good stuff ends! They got everything wrong from forgetting our bar, serving the wrong food at the reception to over charging my guests! Horrible service too!! So sad this place lacks a good staff because it just ruins everything! Even the wedding planner left in the middle of the wedding! Insane.

Two words: Destination. Wedding. \rAhhhhh! What have I gotten myself into?? We live in STL and we knew we wanted a FL beach wedding. I couldn’t imagine planning a wedding without seeing anything until the day of. Also, relying on email and phone calls to piece together our BIG day was making me nervous before I even begun the process. I was SO overwhelmed with the entire process before I even started planning. My sister knew how stressed I was, so she started the planning for me :) She goggled many hotels in \rFort Lauderdale, FL and we spent an evening together going over the pros and cons of each hotel and narrowed down the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. Not only were they in our budget, but offered many things for FREE that other hotels charged for: (couples customized website, personal event manager, champagne toast for ALL our guests, upgraded room the night of our wedding, CAKE, table linens and center piece) – this made the planning process much less stressful. Nydia Lopez was my event manager and she was beyond helpful, polite, knowledgeable and “hands-on” from beginning our search, to the time we arrived in FL until the time we left. Nydia went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable during the entire process. I recommend the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and PLEASE request Nydia Lopez as your event manager. You will not be disappointed. Oh and one last thing, for all future brides – any negative reviews you hear or read are probably coming from “Bridezillas” who will never be happy no matter what someone does for them. :) \rBrides-To-Be, remember that this is a special day for you and your future husband…do not get caught up in feeling like you’re all alone in planning your BIG day. Leave the planning to the Sheraton and Nydia Lopez.

To begin, the venue is a beautiful one and the prices are fairly reasonable for having your wedding on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. The cake from Ana Paz was delicious and the food was decent. If you decide to have your wedding here, proceed with caution and STRONGLY request to work with Shantel. \rThis entire process, working with Nydia, had been a complete nightmare and a never ending struggle.\rFirst off, our wedding block of rooms was not handled properly. The rooms we agreed upon had not been accessible to our guests at the agreed discounted price. It took 3 months before resloving this issue, no one took ownership to solve the problem.\rAs presented to us during our first tour of the Sheraton, my fiancé and I were to be provided with an upgraded suite for the night of the wedding (oceanview room). We were told that the upgrade was unavailable and we would have to pay an additional $200 to have an upgraded suite which was supposed to be included in our package. This issue took 3 or 4 emails back and forth to be resolved. \rI inquired about a room for myself (the bride) and my bridesmaids to get ready in. I asked if we could check into the Bridal suite early and use the hotel room as a place to get ready. I met much resistance from Nydia and her staff. At this point, I spoke to the manager at the Sheraton hotel to help in this manner and he never followed through. I had to do some research to find a more responsible person to deal with, Emily Payne who then intervened and helped. \rThere was an issue with my fiancé and I being able to taste our wedding food. We were told by Nydia that we had to come between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Friday. My fiancé and I work during those hours and were unable to make it during those times. Nydia and the catering staff was not being flexible to accommodate my fiancé and I at all. We were willing to come in any evening during the week or anytime during the weekend. However, Nydia and the catering staff would not budge. My mother was in town from Chicago for a week and was willing to taste the food for us during those hours. Nydia and the catering staff did not agree to this either. Finally, after much back and forth we were able to taste the food for our wedding one evening during the week. However, this problem took 5 weeks to be solved and again we struggled with much resistance from the Sheraton staff.\rNydia does not work in the best interest of her clients. I feel she does not take ownership to get issues taken care of for me as the bride. She puts my questions and concerns off or passes them to her colleagues without following up. She does not answer my questions in a timely fashion. I was so concerned that my wedding day would not run smoothly since the pre-wedding period had been such a difficult one. I really wished I felt more confident with my wedding coordinator and at ease that the details of my wedding as it pertains to the Sheraton were being handled by someone dependable. \rOn my wedding day, Nydia and the wedding consultant were supposed to be available to help with the set up. I did not see these girls until after the wedding. \rBefore my wedding, I read wonderful reviews about the Sheraton Hotel on theknot.com and this is the sole reason why I chose this hotel to have my wedding. I found out later that the wedding coordinator who everyone ranting and raved about online now works at the Westin. My experience was so difficult and frustrating.

I would like to start off by saying this was a beautiful hotel all around! My husband and I felt like we were getting taken care of from the beginning. The hotel staff was pleasent and friendly. I did not go with the hotels' wedding planner, but it turned out great! The event coordinator for the hotel, Tammy, was great! She came to the bridal suite and checked on everyone and brought coffee and took all of the props to the wedding planner for me. I did not have to worry about a THING!! The food was great! The staff that served the food was pleasant as well. The reception food for was even accomidated for us to have turkey sausage and vegetarian items for those who did not eat meat or pork. I do want to say, I did not taste anything before, I live in IL, so I had no choice but to deal with whatever I had. Everyone enjoyed every part of the meal:) The only flaws I had were my family that drove from MO, IL & TN had to pay to park. I was not asking for it to be free, but I felt, since we were giving them at least 10 rooms, the parking could've been a little more discounted, rather than just $5. Other than that, everything was fine and everything I could've dreamed, wished, and prayed for:)

The staff for the catering and event planning at this hotel were incredible when helping plan my wedding. They were there for me from day one to the last minute of my reception. They were so helpful and made my day more than I could imagine! They supplied me with anything I needed, even offering to go to stores for me, since I was coming from out of state. I think they did an amazing job!

My experience with the Sheraton was absolutely incredible. Tammy, Katrina and Jorge was AMAZING in all ways including the day of the wedding. They were always there to answer any question I had expecially being a destination wedding. The food, the staff, location, and price were all amazing. All of my dreams and expectatons came true that night!!! The way everything came together left me without a worry on the most important day. It was truly an unforgettable day and I can't thank them enough for making my dreams come true and for being there every step of the way. Would defintely recommend to family and friends.
