We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Balcony Ballroom! The entire staff was so attentive, friendly, professional, and truly passionate about what they do! They thought of every detail and made our big day so special for us and our family.Vanessa was our day of coordinator, and what a luxury it was to have someone so experienced there from start to finish. She coordinated the flow of it all perfectly. We did not have any stress for the ceremony or the reception thanks to her!The food is top tier at the Balcony. Our guest were blown away by all the amazing food options. Our guests had such a good time & we are still getting comments that it was the best wedding ever!! We hosted our ceremony and reception at the Balcony Ballroom. My husband, our guests and I can not stop talking about how amazing our wedding was. From setting the date, confirmation of details to the meetings week of, the team was absolutely amazing. Anytime we had questions, they were available via phone and email. The value of services is unlike any venue in the metro New Orleans area. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The ambiance of the venue is simply elegant. Thank you to Vanessa and the whole staff!

My dream wedding!!!! Everything was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I were married here May 27, 2023. It was the wedding everyone commented on how beautiful and smooth it was. All I had to do was show up! I felt like a celebrity that night. My husband and I made a joke to divorce Jaír to have the wedding again. I HIGHLY recommend the balcony ballroom. Choosing The Balcony for our wedding reception venue was one of the best choices we made. Everything was absolutely beautiful, and we were well taken care of. Us and our parents were never without a drink the entire time, and there was someone there for anything we needed. Everything ran so smoothly and we had the best time. Also, everyone keeps telling us how amazing the food was, and they're absolutely right! Thank you to everyone who helped to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! I wish we could give The Balcony 100 stars! My parents had their reception at The Balcony, as did my older sister, so I knew this is where we definitely had to have our wedding reception! Growing up, I attended many types of events there, and always dreamed of one day having my own wedding reception and dancing upstairs on the balcony. When I got engaged, I knew I didn't even want to look at any other venues. Vanessa, Jay, Mike, and Chef Ryan exceeded all of my expectations and made my wedding dreams come true. They were extremely attentive and have this down to a science! They are absolute experts in making sure everything is 1,000% perfect, stress-free, and so memorable for all of our guests. Chef Ryan's food is incredible and unmatched by any other venue around. As I have also grown up in a family business, I have always admired Vanessa and Jay for following in Mr. Johnny and Ms. Valerie's footsteps and carrying on a wonderful family legacy, while also continuing to beautify and modernize the business along with the changing times. It is so rare these days to find a place like The Balcony that genuinely cares about all of their staff and customers. Mike has been with The Balcony since my parents had their reception there over 40 years ago - a true testament to how amazing this family business is. I will forever shout from the rooftops that The Balcony is THE place to host any type of event - from weddings to reunions to work events, they can do it all, and you shouldn't look any further.

There is a reason The Balcony is preparing to celebrate 50 years in business. From the time Vanessa and Jay take you on a tour and explain what they have to offer, to the time Mike and Kevin pack you up and send you off when your event is over, it’s first class all the way! I attended a wedding at The Balcony in 2022 and was convinced that was the place for my daughter’s wedding. More than half of our guests had never attended a wedding with this type of venue. They had been to small town church/country weddings. One of the groomsmen said when he walked in was “I think I’m in the wrong place”. These guests were blown away!! Even our photographer, who is based in Lafayette, told us that he did 132 weddings last year and none of them came close to comparing to The Balcony. I have one more daughter that I hope will get married too and there is no doubt where her wedding will take place too!

From beginning to end, our wedding day was exceptionally fulfilling. As the Bride & Groom we didn’t have to lift a finger. LITERALLY! Mr. Mike, Mrs. Dawn, and Jay were on it the entire time. We had our wedding reception at the Balcony Ballroom January 7th, 2023. We absolutely loved everything about this venue! Vanessa, Mike, Jay, & staff took care of us from the get-go. From helping me surprise my fiancé with a band instead of a DJ, to planning everything beforehand/setting up on the day of/cleaning up after the reception night of (and everything in between) THEY TOOK CARE OF IT ALL! We cannot recommend them enough. All of our guests raved about the delicious and abundant food/drinks, and our parents gushed over how they were treated like royalty. We had extremely high expectations going into it, and the Balcony Ballroom somehow exceeded those expectations beyond belief.

My youngest daughter’s wedding reception was held at The Balcony just two days ago ; our second one in 3 years. I simply don’t know how Mike and the entire staff can pull off such a magnificent show of food, service, professionalism, and fun. This one topped them All! I have been to several receptions here over the years, and each time I am blown away. I truly wish I had more daughters who could plan a wedding here!I am deeply grateful for the care that goes into planning an event like ours. To go anywhere else just makes no sense! One of these days, I hope to experience this beautiful venue for a grandchild!

A week has passed and we are still in awe, our experience was nothing short of perfect!! Everything was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Our wedding and reception was handled with care and professionalism. We had NO wants. The staff and coordinators were amazing and very accommodating to all our needs. Their attention to detail, the structure, and the organization of events was commended by all our guests. And of course the food was ENDLESS!! We are still receiving phone calls raving about the delicious food and the stunning decor. We wanted to create a long lasting experience for our guests and this was executed by the balcony! They made the process easy and efficient (from the vendor list to the coordinators) for people living out of state such as ourselves and we can't say THANK YOU enough!! We would highly recommend this beautiful venue and it’s wonderful team to anyone searching for a memorable wedding experience!

It's been 1 month since our union and our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding they've been to. They can't stop talking about the food, how everything tasted amazing and how fresh the flavors were, also how smoothly everything ran at The Balcony Ballroom. Vanessa and the entire team made my wife and I so happy with everything from start to finish and treated us like Queens. We live in AL and I would highly recommend them for a destination wedding, when I tell you they took care of everything, they did!The entire experience dealing with The Balcony Ballroom was like a fairytale. My wife and my hands are never empty, someone was always at our side catering to us. What an experience of a lifetime. We're so glad we chose them to take care of our special day. WOW. Where to even begin? I highly recommend The Balcony Ballroom for your wedding reception! This team is a well-oiled machine and made planning from out of state a dream! They are so dedicated to ensuring that your day is truly yours. From the second the reception started, Mike was keeping us all on time, while making sure our drinks were never empty, our bellies were full, and my feet were in the most comfy shoes! The food is simply divine, and that you get such a vast array is unheard of. Our guests have continued to rave about how good it all was, especially the lamb lollipops, truffle lobster mac n cheese, and potato bar (just to name a few). The drinks never stopped flowing (neither for us or our parents), and the hospitality also extended to our guests. There was also no better way to end the day with our goodie bag filled with all the cake we didn't get to eat during the actual day, champagne, and other finger foods. Mike and Vanessa were especially instrumental in helping me in regards to actually planning out the reception, but I know that it's a team effort. And if I had to do it all again, I would without a doubt pick the Balcony Ballroom!

Everyone raved about the delicious food, beautiful decorataions, and attention to detail. Mike and Vanessa were fantastic and made sure my husband and I (as well as the wedding party) were taken care of the entire time. The staff was also great. I felt like royalty on my wedding day, and I hope everyone has a chance to experience the first-class service that The Balcony has to offer! My wife is from the New Orleans area, but we don't live in the area, and she wanted to get married back home. From the start, the folks at the Balcony knew their stuff and made things easy.Living out of town and not being able to stop in to make decisions or meet with people wasn't a worry with the Balcony. They knew how to run everything and had recommendations of who to use and those vendors were familiar with working at the balcony so everything ran smoothly.Their team constantly tended to me and my wife the entire night. Later, we discovered they had also been making sure our parents and immediate family members were also well taken care of. Some of my friends were outside smoking cigars and they told us that the staff kept checking on them and if they needed or wanted anything.Numerous people told us this was the most fun and entertaining wedding they had ever been to and that the food was amazing.They also make sure the wedding party gets to eat. I heard numerous stories from people who had been married that they didn't get to eat or drink anything at their reception, but the Balcony makes sure you have time to eat and drink.The staff were all amazing and super helpful. If you're an out-of-towner, you cannot make a better choice than going with the Balcony Ballroom. This is a well-oiled machine and they know how to make everything run. If you're a local, you should also get married here, because the food is amazing and you won't have nearly as much wedding day stress.We cannot thank this team enough. Thank you all so much for making our special day memorable for all the right reasons!

Where do I even begin with the Balcony Ballroom? My husband and I’s wedding was a DREAM COME TRUE & more. From the moment we pulled up to the doors we were given the warmest greeting and served with the most outstanding hospitality!! All night long, not only were my husband and I taken care of, but so were our parents and guests. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a night to remember. Plenty of guests have reached out to me since our big day, & they have had nothing but ENDLESS compliments the balcony, and especially about the food. I mean, their food is TRULY amazing!! If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, do not look any further…THE BALCONY is the PERFECT place to be!

The first thing I want to say to any and all parents that are planning a wedding and want the most beautiful incredible experience of a lifetime please choose Blacony Ballroom. I want to write about every experience we had here that was so perfect because of Vanessa and her staff but I would literally have chapters of a book before all was said and done. This was the most elaborate wedding and the compliments that I have received because of the roles that Vanessa played , I would think she had to of cloned herself to of had taken care of every attention to detail that I hadn’t even thought of was handled and achieved through Vanessa . The groom said it perfect, Vanessa was born to play this role ! I only know that I was Blessed to of chosen Balcony Ballroom because I have been dreaming of this day forever and also have been dreading the stress of something going wrong but that part never happened and all because of Vanessa . The parents were catered to at the bridal party from taking care of food to dancing the night away . I was told by several people that they had never experienced anything so elaborate as this venue and the food omg the food was so incredible and delicious . Again to mention everything about the food would be literally another chapter! I want to say by choosing Balcony Ballroom not only are you getting a Beautiful venue and unforgettable delicious food , you are getting Vanessa and she’s like having a personal wedding planner because she took care of making sure that my daughter had the most incredible forever memories and that’s the greatest gift that any parent can pray for. Someone had walked up to me and said that I have had the greatest smile on my face the entire night! That’s not only due to my beautiful daughter getting married, it’s because it was truly a most beautiful and magical wedding because of Vanessa, the staff and Beautiful Balcony Ballroom . Where do I begin?! It seemed we found a jewel when my venue research landed on the Balcony Ballroom! Our day was so majestic that it’s hard to put into words & if I’m to give stars…5 don’t seem like enough. My wedding day was one of the most painless experiences in my life & that’s all thanks to the Balcony Ballroom staff! The staff was very personable & covered every minor to major detail of our day. We wanted for nothing! Vanessa personally took care of me when butterflies began to flutter inside me, she made my tears disappear & my walk to my groom was a breeze! Mike would not allow us to even think about if we needed something, because he was there before we could ask. The food! The food was beyond describable, but I'll take a stab at it and say it was seasoned, appetizing, & plentiful! Our guests are still raving about the food! I’ll end with a few comments from my guests. “The Balcony Ballroom is about their business & put on a production!” “This is the wedding to brag about!”

From start to finish it was beyond beautiful. That all every single one of my guest kept saying. I felt like I was in a dream. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable. I truly didn’t have to worry about a thing the entire night they make sure you are happy with everything and in need of nothing. I couldn’t have asked for a better night. Vanessa you’re AMAZING! If you are looking to have a wedding you will never ever forget, this is your venue. Mike and his staff were, hands down, the best group I have gotten the pleasure to work with on our special day. The food was delicious and never ending. Our guests still talk about how this was the BEST wedding they have attended and we got married 7 months ago! The venue, decorations, food, drinks, and the staff were incredible and this will be a night I will never forget! Thank you Balcony Ballroom for making our dream wedding come true! Honestly, I was very disappointed. Vanessa was so rude, both during the planning meeting a few days before the wedding and during the wedding itself. During the planning meeting, she rushed through everything, and was rude when I said I do not want line dances. During the wedding, she kept rushing us because she thought we were taking too long to eat. Then, she waited so long to do the money dance that most people had left. They cut massive slabs of cake, and did not put the layer aside that I had requested. Then when they boxed up the cake for us to take home they completely butchered it. It was crumbs. I'm so disappointed and my husband and I regret booking with them.

These people know how to throw a party!! It is a night that I will never forget because of them. They made sure that we had everything we needed. The venue allows- to quote one of our guests- “a true princess wedding.” I had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the food and drinks all night long. The food is fantastic and you don’t have to worry about picking anything out because they offer the same top shelve food and drinks package for every event! They take the stress out and allow everything to be done with ease by providing everything in house- including a DJ if needed. The only things we booked additionally were the cake, photo booth and band. Once they were booked, they corresponded with everyone day of and got everything set up. They got any extras, such as memorials and party favors set up before we were there. I cannot give these people enough credit, 10/10, 5 stars, all the above. You are missing out if you don’t book your venue here!

Jay and Vanessa were so helpful during the planning phase, and the night of our Wedding Jay, Dawn, and Mike went above and beyond tending to my husband and me, as well as our families. These guys are by far THE BEST when it comes to wedding receptions!!!! This was my second daughters reception and once again Mike, Vanessa, and Jay were top notch and on the ball with everything...This is no exaggeration, you want for nothing, they are attentive all night long, and like last time EVERYONE has been messaging and texting tell us how great a time and how wonderful the reception was. Without saying the food was fantastic, the drinks over the top and if you leave there either hungry or thirsty, well needless to say, that's almost impossible. You will never run out of either too. This is my final reception....whew... but I will and always recommend this venue over ANYWHERE in the city of New Orleans.. There's a reason they have been doing this, well almost forever.. Thanks again you guys for making things easy and making my second daughter's reception perfect.. I cant wait to enjoy my next one purely as a guest at THE BALCONY BALLROOM!!!!!!!!

One thing you need to understand about the Balcony Ballroom is that you will not receive anything less than perfection. From planning, to communication, to logistics, but most importantly THE VENUE, the FOOD, and most notably the STAFF, you are getting far more than you pay for. I truly feel indebted to Vanessa and her team. I truly felt like the only bride in the world. They accommodated every tiny thing we asked for. Place your trust in Vanessa and she will not let you down. I will never forget my ceremony and reception at BB and I would do it 20 times over. I am so glad I used BB and it is unbelievable how beautiful the place is. Thank you for everything Vanessa and team, you are wonderful!

Where can we start. This venue was the must BEAUTIFUL of all of the places we have visited. The wow factor was there from the get go. Mike and Vanessa truly knows how to cater to a couple, put their needs FIRST, and give theme what they can dream of plus more. And don’t get me started on the FOOD!!!!!! 3 weeks later and we are STILL raving about the food. There were so many options for different types of pallets plus more than I even thought about. Wow. There is truly not enough space to write how amazing The Balcony Ballroom is. When we searched for a wedding venue, we came across so many GREAT reviews about this place and now I can confirm all the wonderful things past couples have stated! From the beautiful venue, to the crazy good food, to the AMAZING staff... I could seriously talk about them for days!! ( and most likely will for years!) From the start I felt like I was in good professional hands! We had to plan a wedding from California and the communication, help, and guidance throughout this process with The Balcony Ballroom is every couples dream when planning a wedding! Although they have been in this business for longer than I have been alive and they have had so many weddings celebrated there, the staff made me feel like my wedding was the royal wedding! They have thought of EVERYTHING and made the night so seamless to the point, that all my friends, family, and my spouse had to do, was enjoy every moment together. Our guest raved about the service from the time they stepped off the busses! I mean this is the dream spot for a wedding! <3 I woke up this next morning and said, can we do this all over again?! :) So thankful to The Balcony Ballroom family/team for our wedding day so special for everyone!

WHY go to New Orleans for a wedding reception when the BEST venue is right here in your backyard? That's right, The Balcony Ballroom!!!! Five stars do not do this venue justice, as they are far above a five. As the father of the bride, nothing compares to the experience you will receive from the Van Vrancken family and Mike Borne. As soon as you enter the building for a visit, you can tell by how you are greeted at the door with smiling faces and professionalism that this is the only place you should consider. These professionals truly care about their clients and are wholly dedicated to ensuring that you and your guest have the most memorable event ever. The Balcony already has everything you need, from decorations, event lighting, table decorations, DJ, food, drink, and dedicated staff to wait on the wedding couple and parents. Our glasses were never empty, and the food was outstanding. Kudos to the Chef and his team in the kitchen. From the bang bang shrimp to the lamb chops, to the bacon-wrapped quail, the carving stations, the drink stations and on and on, everything was eloquent and top of the line service. Food was never an issue with the Balcony as with only minutes left in the evening, there were still trays of food being passed around; it just kept coming and coming. What a relief knowing that the food and drink never slowed up. I had so many compliments from my guest stating that they had never seen this happen at other venues and how delicious the food was. The music selection by the DJ was also very well received as the dance floor was packed all night. We had sent the DJ a couple of songs that the couple liked, and he just went with the rest. Again I cannot say enough about The Balcony Ballroom. Thank you, Mr. Johnny, Vanessa, Jay and Mike. YOU ARE THE BEST, AND IT SHOWS WHY THE BALCONY BALLROOM SHOULD BE ON EVERYONE's LIST FOR A WEDDING OR PARTY. Our family cannot thank you enough for all you did to make this the most memorable wedding we could ever ask for. I don't know if there is anything that could have been done better; you are FIRST CLASS! Honestly cannot wait to return there for another event and tell you hello.

The Balcony Ballroom is one of a kind! Everything was flawless and executed to perfection. If anything went wrong that night, we had no clue what it was, that's how fast it was taken care of. If you think Magic happens at Disney, then have your event here and they will show you what real Magic is. From planning, meetings, picking out your table cloths and wall colors the week of, they made everything easy and stress free. Our guest are still talking about the how delicious the food was, how many food options there were and how clean the building was kept. If a drink spilled, this team had it cleaned before you knew your drink hit the ground! Vanessa, Mike and Jay will be your best friends and your go to all night and they will make sure you want for nothing. You cannot get service like their staff provided anywhere else in Louisiana!

There is not enough space here for the kudos we would like to give The Balcony! First class!!!! Mike and Vanessa couldn’t be more attentive to your every needs. No need for decorating it’s all there. No need for a cake stand it’s there and it’s beautiful. No picking out a food package, it’s all included and when I say all, dang, I don’t think there was an appetizer or meal that wasn’t passed around. So many bragging about the food everyone was blown away. The wedding party goes directly upstairs after the ceremony so they can eat before joining the party because let’s all agree that gets forgotten otherwise. But the Balcony makes sure that happens! The bride and groom gets their own special table to eat at for a quick intimate meal before heading downstairs. The drinks didn’t stop and we were treated like royalty. As the bride and groom and parents of the bride and groom we didn’t have to get a thing, someone was always there to hand us a fresh drink. I, as the brides mom, even had a dress issue where my shoe kept getting caught on my slip and Vanessa was there to remedy it! Said if you have an issue, we can solve it. And they really can. From start to finish it was an amazing experience that we will not soon forget. And we are still getting texts and calls two days later from others bragging about their experience, the venue and most of all the food!!! It really didn’t stop from walking in to walking out! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Mother (me) and father of the bride had our reception there 34 years ago and it was first class then and is still first class now. Many renovations so it looks elegant and brand new. Oh and the price was MUCH better than most other venues and those that was comparable didn’t offer near as much food, not even close. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I’ve done a lot of research and personally reached out to Clients . It’s simply beautiful , elegant, and stunning with so many options to customize your style . The Balcony Ballroom is a fine tuned well oiled machine in how to run a wedding . Throughout COVID and Hurricane Ida The Balcony was Very Accommodating to our needs . I want to personally thank Vanessa for always being there for me . She is very personable, funny and bubbly. She not only outstanding at her job , but became a friend . She doesn’t miss a beat , and is willing to share options and guidance . Jay and Mike we’re spot on with with everything. They really took the reins on the wedding day and prevented us from any stress . Not only is the staff wonderful , but the venue itself is breathtaking. My guest were all in AWE . Now the highlight of my night was the food .The food was BEYOND tasty. EVERYONE that attended was impressed with the selection. OMG! Words cannot explain how much I love with this venue. From DAY ONE, Jay and Vanessa were there for my every need and had an answer to every question that I could think of. Even the week of my wedding, Vanessa called and made sure that all of my details even the ones that didn't directly pertain to The Balcony Ballroom were taken care of .. She even had my \"outspoken mother\" in shock and amazed! I loved it. She needs to be forever protected. MIKE! You are the man. Everytime my husband and I turned around he was there. The balcony ballroom was a dream come true! From the moment we arrived until the second we left, we felt at ease. We never had to second guess if we needed anything, it was already done and there. It’s hard to put into words just how great this venue is. The venue itself is completely breathtaking but the staff is outstanding. Every guest has expressed just how beautiful the wedding was, and of course they can’t stop talking about the amazing food. The venue's team was very professional and obviously highly experienced, taking every extra step to ensure that our entire wedding party and parents were happy and comfortable. As the bride and groom, we also thoroughly enjoyed our wedding celebration! The venue facilitates nearly every facet of the event aside from baking the cake, which was a huge plus for us considering we live in Michigan and had limited ability to prepare for the wedding remotely. Scott and I got married on May 15, 2021. We had to move our reception to the Balcony Ballroom due to COVID-19. It was the BEST decisions of our lives! Mike, Vanessa and Jay were truly amazing! They took exceptional care of us and our parents as well - they were right by our side, guiding us every step of the way the entire night. My strap and bussell popped unexpectedly and Vanessa was right there to fix it so I could continue dancing. From the moment we stepped foot in the door to take a tour of the venue til the moment we left that night, they all treated us like family. They made you feel so special. The food was outstanding…guests will never leave hungry! Words can not express the gratitude we felt that night and still to this day for making our reception one we will never ever forget! From start to finish my wedding was absolutely perfect because of the Balcony Ballroom! I enjoyed the stress free experience from the moment we booked to the day of our wedding. From dropping in, deciding, planning, and preparation (even during a pandemic) I always felt respected and welcomed. I'm a perfectionist so I was a bit worried about putting everything in the hands of people I don't know. Mike, Vanessa, and the staff quickly became my best friends. They don't miss a beat! Everything ran smoothly and seamlessly.Me, my husband, and our parents appreciated how our attendants ensured that we drank, ate, were present in the moment and enjoyed ourselves the entire time. The staff at the balcony ballroom was professional, personable, and happy. For example, if someone spilled a drink on the ground there was a staff member on their knees wiping it up in less than 2 minutes (and happy doing it!) My parents are unable to go anywhere without getting a compliment on how beautiful the ballroom is and how AWESOME the food was. Everything was perfect. Perfect place. Perfect night.I can not thank the staff at the balcony ballroom enough.Thank you for making the night of my dreams come true. PS: My parents are already pushing for my sister to have her wedding at the balcony. So I'm sure will be back!!!

Special shout-out to Mike, Jay, Kevin, and David for their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness when it came to our Big Day! Another special shout-out to the incredible food preparations made by Ryan that our guest continue to rave about! Planning a wedding on the east coast, on top of the uncertainty of Covid-19, was rather difficult. No matter what questions we had, or the time, the Balcony staff answered any and everything promptly and reassured everything would be fine. This has honestly been one of the best days of our lives and we owe all thanks to you all. We highly recommend the Balcony Ballroom and we guarantee you you will not be disappointed!!

I know it was your job to make sure we had the ultimate experience but I didn’t feel like y’all were doing a job. I felt like EACH of you genuinely cared about our day and catered to our experience. The venue itself is to die for. Every single detail from the chandeliers to the flowers on the table was amazing. Let’s not forget about the DELICIOUS food. Our Wedding was March 12, 2021. I took my time to write a review so I could find the perfect words. We originally planned to have our reception in Orleans parish but made the decision to change to Jefferson. They say everything happens for a reason and I am so thankful that our reason was so we could end up at The Balcony. My parents were married there 29 years ago so it always held a special place in my heart. From the moment we walked in Jay, Vanessa, Mike, Mr. Johnny and Chef Ryan went above and beyond to make us feel special and that everything was going to be perfect. The night of the wedding was an absolute dream. From the moment we got out of the car Vanessa was there. She made sure that I had everything I needed. She’s like the best friend that you need by your side the whole time. Mike and Jay stayed by our parents and bridalparty the entire time to make sure they had everything they needed as well. The service truly is top notch. The food was absolutely amazing. Seriously, being a chef myself and having a family who’s been in the restaurant industry our whole life I don’t say that lightly. Everything was absolutely delicious. The selection, quality and extent of items cannot be matched. Chef Ryan is extremely talented and you can tell that he is passionate about his food. I could go on and on about how wonderful everything was that night. The entire staff, the banana foster station, chocolate fountain, coffee station, the bar, DJ, lights, decor etc. Everything is top notch and done right. Our guests repeatedly said that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! I am so thankful that we made the delicious to go to The Balcony. If you’re thinking of going anywhere other than the Balcony Ballroom DON’T DO IT! We had an amazing time from start to finish. Vanessa, Dawn , Michael, Jay and the ENTIRE staff were amazing . They made sure we wanted for nothing. The food was incredible, the ease of their direction was incredible. The music had the entire party dancing with every song. We had soooo much fun and they made sure that everything was as flawless as possible and even let my crazy husband be himself (which is greatly appreciated) they listened to us and made our every request special for us. We appreciate everything they’ve done for us and i will ALWAYS refer the Balcony to any and everyone!!

The Balcony Ballroom made our special day everything it could possibly be! Jay, Vanessa, Mike, & the rest of the staff made everything simple from start to finish. Including the planning and any questions I had throughout the process. The Balcony makes your wedding day stress free (never thought you could say that!) Soon as I arrived to our rehearsal and brought everything that needed to be set up I knew we were in good hands. When we got there on our wedding day everything looked perfect and we didn’t have to think about anything (they are pros!) I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the area. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks and music that their DJ provided. Their photographer was great as well. They took particular care of my husband and I throughout the whole ceremony & reception, and also are parents. Wish we could do it again!

Planning a wedding during a world wide pandemic wasn’t the easiest to say the least. But moving our wedding from New Orleans to the Balcony was the best decision we could’ve made. The venue was nothing short than amazing. Vanessa is a true blessing, as well as the rest of the staff!! Fredo and I felt truly taken care of. Everyone is still raving about the food. The Balcony Ballroom is absolutely amazing every step of the way. My drink never went empty, the good music never stopped playing, and the food never stopped being delicious. Vanessa, Jay, and Mike were absolutely fabulous at making sure everything went seamlessly and perfect. We had an absolutely blast. Everything was exactly as planned and the team made sure our entire night was catered to us. The DJ kept the dance floor popping. There is no place I would’ve rather gotten married and had the reception. We were beyond spoiled and have gotten so many compliments on our wedding. We got married here one month ago and seriously are STILL talking about how absolutely amazing our wedding was. The balcony literally had everything we could’ve needed. Vanessa was SO on the ball and got everything moving so we had the most amount of time for partying. The place is just absolutely gorgeous, and I didn’t even need to bring any decorations because it was so elegant and already has super gorgeous decor. The few things that I did bring, they loaded up into the car for us so we didn’t have to do a single thing at the end of the night. We were in amazement that they were on hands and knees cleaning up as soon as a drink spilled on the dance floor throughout the night. Everyone RAVED over how delicious the food was, which was served the entire night. We felt like royalty every minute, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! They communicate so well and are all just so sweet and professional. Highly highly recommend!!! We wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Where do I even begin!!! The Balcony Ballroom has been family to my parents & I for as long as I can remember! I’ve worked so many brides wedding days there and see the way they operate so choosing them for my special day was a no brainer. From the day I booked, through a pandemic (original date 3/28/20), and to my new wedding date (9/18/20) Vanessa, Mike, and Jay were there every step of the way!! They were always a phone call away and helped me with every question or concern that I had! This place is THE. REAL. DEAL!!! They always go above & beyond for every single one of their couples! The food, service and the staff is unbeatable! My guests are still talking about how amazing everything was!! My husband & I can’t thank The Balcony enough for everything they did to make our day PERFECT! We can’t wait to have another celebration there down the road to renew our vows :)

Switching to the Balcony through one of the toughest years to be a bride was the BEST decision we could have made. Vanessa was absolutely amazing at preparing me for the big day. I felt like a princess inside that venue the night of the actual wedding. Mike and the entire staff made sure we had the most perfect night by checking in on us ever so many minutes. The staff took care of everything and everyone. We had the most perfect, seamless reception during the most trying time to get married. The Balcony and entire staff were very punctual from the time we got off the limo up until the very end, Vanessa and staff kept the entire reception flowing in perfect harmony in conjunction with the photographer/videographer, DJ, and dances .... The food was exceptional, delicious and hot! The drinks were free flowing and the wait staff was top notch, especially Mike, my glass and plate was never empty....

Choosing The Balcony Ballroom 2 years ago for our wedding was the absolute best decision we made!!! When we selected them to host our reception in December 2018 we had no idea the months/years leading up to our wedding would consist of a global pandemic, multiple hurricanes, and buying and selling a house. We were supposed to get married in June 2020 and due to COVID 19 we rescheduled for October 30, 2020. The staff at the Balcony was so helpful in the rescheduling of our wedding to October. Little did we know we would have an unexpected category 2 hurricane hit 3 days before our wedding that left more than half of New Orleans without electricity. The dedication from Vanessa, Mike, and Jay to make our wedding happen meant the world to us. They worked with us and our parents to give us the wedding of our dreams despite all of the obstacles we were presented with. I have always heard wonderful things about The Balcony Ballroom, but after experiencing it for myself as a bride I cannot say enough about the entire staff for making us feel so special on our wedding night! Vanessa has everything under control and thinks of everything! The bustle on my dress broke and Vanessa had it fixed in no time, so I could enjoy my night! The service was top notch, the food was unbelievably delicious, and the venue is beautiful!!! I could go on and on about how happy we are with The Balcony. They are experts at executing an amazing wedding. They literally have everything down to a science from the preparations, to the lighting, the music, pictures and the food; everything was just perfect. Deciding to have a wedding at the Balcony Ballroom, was the best decision that my now husband and I could have made! Being a less than relaxed person by nature, I found myself not needing to worry about anything other than enjoying our special day, and that was a big deal! Sure, there was some prep work that went into deciding how we wanted to personalize things, few things to get ahead of time, but most of those were guided by helpful checklists, with the rest figured out during our final meeting that took place a few days before the wedding. When the day arrived, Vanessa, Jay, Kevin, Chef and every member of their team, was already briefed and fully prepared to execute all of our preferences and decisions, while also taking exceptional care of our guests. It was like a fine tuned dance that you do not see in many places and one that we definitely needed in order to direct our full focus on enjoying ourselves and being in the moment.Our guests also continue to gush about the great food that was had and how much fun they themselves had! With everyone describing a different favorite food item, it quickly became clear that there was not only one or two things that were standout good, but everything was THAT good! How awesome is that? There was also an environment that just outright encouraged fun. Not like reckless debauchery fun, but like guests were always aware of what was happening so they could participate if they wanted to fun (things like guestbook signing, line dancing, second line, money dance and more). Our entrances, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, cake cutting and exit were also just like we had pictured them! So dear brides, the best advise I can give is: go visit the Balcony Ballroom. Their ability to answer all your questions with ease and certainty might at the least give you a better understanding of what is important to you the day of your wedding. For me, they had me at \"what would you like on your mashed potatoes?\" and I was eating those mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon less than 20 min into being a Mrs.. .and that was important to me. :) Thank you Balcony Ballroom! The day was everything we could have asked for and more!

And after the wedding they not only make the bride and groom feel special they also take care of the parents. From making sure we always had food and drink to packing everything up and putting it in our vehicle at the end. Your wedding day doesn’t have to be stressful, who knew?!?!? The reception , what can I say? Our guests ranted about the food. From the food stations to the servers with trays of amazing food. It was money well spent!!

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the Balcony Ballroom is! We literally booked them about 2 weeks before our wedding date, due to having to cancel our original venue, and they handled everything seamlessly. I actually can’t imagine our wedding anywhere else but here - literally the easiest and best decision we made! Our drinks were never empty the entire night, the food was to die for, and the venue is just gorgeous! I am so happy that we chose to have our reception here and I cannot thank Vanessa and her staff enough for the amazing experience they gave us after all of the stress and replanning we went through. If you are considering having a reception here - DO IT!!!!

Everything was PERFECT! Being a bride during a national pandemic causes for a lot of stress and heartache. Having to postpone our reception once, and then change venues at the very last minute was heart wrenching to say the least. We called around to see who else would be available for our date and the Balcony Ballroom was. Little did I know how perfect everything would be. The family at the Balcony Ballroom were the best people to work with. They were so understanding of everything, Were there for us whenever we had a question, even the day of the wedding, The service was absolutely PHENOMENAL, not just for the bride and groom, but our families as well! The food was absolutely DElICIOUS! From the moment you arrive you are treated with the utmost respect and best service anyone could ever imagine. I highly recommend the Balcony Ballroom to anyone who is looking to plan a wedding. Our wedding reception couldn't have been any better, and went above any of our expectations. Sadly I was unable to have my wedding at this venue and lost my deposit due to Covid-19 due to putting the best interest in our family, friends, and the venue workers safety. This would’ve been a destination wedding and people were coming from New York, California, and Texas where Covid-19 was severely effecting people’s health and financial situation. Sadly, we were unable to move our date without having to renew the contract so our deposit was a continuous loss and the venue was unable to work with us to ensure we would have our special day with them in the future without losing the money we’ve already given. I am very disappointed in the way they handled this and how they were unable to be accommodating in these trying times.

Everything about The Balcony was absolutely PERFECT!As someone who has dreamed of their wedding day since little, The Balcony far exceeded my dreams and expectations. I felt like a princess. The staff truly make you feel like royalty from the moment you walk in. Our original wedding date had to be rescheduled due to COVID, but Vanessa and the staff worked with us through everything. Honestly, it was completely stress free on our parts and that’s all thanks to Vanessa, Mike, and Jay! The modifications made due to COVID, such as, the thermal temperature scanning and the new air system with ionization that kills the virus in the air made us and all of our guests feel completely safe to let loose and have a great time celebrating our marriage. We continue to get calls, texts, emails, pictures, and videos from our guests saying how BEAUTIFUL the venue was and how EXCEPTIONAL the food tasted! Everyone said how the food and drinks flowed the entire night, and how they left happy and full! I can not thank The Balcony Ballroom, Vanessa, Mike, and Jay enough for making our wedding night the best night of our lives! I wish that we could get married over and over again because of how wonderful everything was! If you are looking for a wedding venue that will far exceed your expectations and make you feel like you are part of their family and royalty at the same time look no further than The Balcony Ballroom! I cannot say enough about the Balcony!!! We had to reschedule our original wedding date due to COVID-19 and throughout the entire situation, the Balcony was phenomenal. Thank you so incredibly much for hosting our wedding reception! We continue to hear from friends and family about how they loved the food, drinks, service, and presentation of the entire ballroom. They make you feel like you are the most important person in the world throughout the entire evening. EVERYTHING was well beyond our expectations and we did not have to stress about ANYTHING!!! I can NOT say enough about the Balcony Ballroom. You literally do not even have to think. Just show up, they have it ALL handled! From start to finish. They provide you a checklists for the entire ceremony & reception to help you plan and ensure that you forget anything or anyone. They don’t miss a beat! We met a few days before to drop off wedding essentials & favors, pick lighting & linen colors & finalize songs, participants & logistics for wedding day activities & timeline. Sounds like a lot but Vanessa made it effortless and exciting. Vanessa and Mike made sure everything ran smoothly. Seamless ceremony & reception. I really enjoyed the stress free experience from the moment we booked to the day of our wedding. Our parents enjoyed having a go-to attendant for any and all questions since our ceremony was held there and rehearsal was about an hour before show time. We all appreciated how our attendants ensured that we drank, ate, we’re present in the moment and enjoyed ourselves the entire time. I especially loved how professional yet personal the staff at The Balcony Ballroom is. EVERYONE is nice, accommodating and attentive during ALL stages of the process. Dropping in, deciding, planning & preparation, wedding day, I always felt their desire was to make sure I was happy and excited :) Our guest continue to talk about how beautiful the ballroom is and how AWESOME the food was. Perfect place. Perfect wedding. Perfect night.

The balcony gave use the most complete wedding you can ask for and more. Well we had to do was pick out what we wanted and bring whatever extras we wanted and it was that simple. Very stress free and I could take care of everything else I needed. Everyone I have seen after the wedding talks about our wedding and how nice it was and how great the food was. The best you can get!
