The Balinese Ballroom is an elegant wedding venue located in Memphis, TN. Situated at the heart of the historic Pinch District, this beautiful event facility offers you the chance to marry in one of Memphis’s oldest regions. Guests are sure to enjoy the charming ambiance of the downtown region, whether they are traveling tourists or seasoned locals. Weddings of up to 250 guests can be accommodated at The Balinese Ballroom, with three event spaces to choose from. You and your partner can declare your love in an indoor ceremony at the Downstairs Ballroom. Featuring white brick walls and gold chandeliers, this beautiful room is the perfect space to exchange your vows. Afterward, you can head to the bar for your cocktail hour or proceed to the Upstairs Ballroom for your evening reception. This bright and airy space features an exposed ceiling, string lighting, and shiny wooden floors. The neutral interiors will provide a polished blank canvas for your wedding decor and color scheme. With a seating capacity of 180 guests and 250 for a standing reception, this versatile space can be configured to suit your requirements. If your event is more intimate, the Highpoint Ballroom can cater to 130 guests. Furnished with a 28-foot bar and a sunken wooden dance floor, this cozy room is made for partying with loved ones. The Balinese Ballroom offers a variety of wedding packages and services. The professional staff will be at your disposal to provide you with all the essentials for your special day. They can take care of setting up the event space for your wedding and cleaning up at the end of the night. For the reception, the service staff will prepare the room with suitable tables, chairs, and linens. You and your guests can look forward to an array of delicious cuisine made by the in-house catering team. With customizable menus and a la carte options, numerous dishes are available to suit your unique palate. The Balinese Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception! The beauty of the venue speaks for itself, but beyond that they have the best staff. From the start when we toured the venue everyone was so kind and helpful. The venue manager, Taylor, was there to answer every single question we had as we prepared for our big day. Working with her was a joy! When we arrived the morning of our wedding, all of the staff, including the owner, did everything possible to ensure that our day ran smoothly and with ease. Their professionalism and kindness allowed me to feel calm and enjoy the day. Once the wedding started, Ann made sure that anything we needed we got. Not only did she make sure we were fed, but she packed us an entire bag of leftovers for later that night! She was a rockstar. We also chose to use The Balinese Ballrooms in house catering and it was hands down THE best decision. I wanted pizza and we ended up serving 3 different types of pizza, lasagna, Caesar salad, caprese skewers, and toasted ravioli. Our guests literally didn’t stop eating all night and were raving about the food wanting to know who our caterer was. Guests continued to tell us after the wedding that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! We can’t say enough good things about The Balinese Ballroom and its amazing staff. The Balinese Ballroom is such a gorgeous, historic Memphis venue. Taylor was so easy to work with, she answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She kept me updated every step of the way. It was so easy to coordinate all of my other vendors with the venue. The food for my reception was phenomenal, the staff was so incredibly friendly and they really made our vision come to life. This venue is gorgeous and was perfect for us. I would highly recommend The Balinese (and Taylor!) to anyone looking for a wedding/event venue.

Balinese Ballroom is literally the best venue in Memphis. First, Ashton, the manager, is 100% awesome. Super nice, responds to emails extremely fast, informative, and helpful every step of the way. The owner personally did our food tasting for the catering and the food was amazing! The staff that was there during the ceremony/reception were awesome as well. I could literally go on and on about everything I loved about this venue. Our experience with the Balinese Ballroom exceeded my expectations and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone who asked me!

The staff are so easy to work with and very professional! We had our reception here - in the High Point room - and it could not have been better. The food was absolutely fantastic, the servers were helpful. The string lights in the room add the perfect touch and made the atmosphere warm. Parking was easy, every door has a security guard at every event and the location of the venue is in a cool area and close to anything downtown Memphis. Everyone talked about how much fun they had at the reception. I’m so thankful for the Balinese! It was absolutely stunning and they are some of the best!

When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, our main focus was finding a venue that included everything we needed, from the space to the alcohol to the decorations and everything in between. We were down to the wire with only 4-5 months away from our wedding day with no idea where we were going to get married, until we took a tour at the Balinese Ballroom. And I fell in love INSTANTLY, choosing the downstairs ballroom with the beautiful white walls and gorgeous chandeliers. This venue is perfect for anyone who wants an intimate and cost-effective wedding and for anyone who's not afraid to put their own twist on things such as the decorations. Plus, Ashton is an absolute sweetheart and the rest of the crew at the Balinese Ballroom are easy to work with as well, making sure you have everything you need for your day. I could say a lot more but I've already typed up an entire novel. Thank You, Balinese Ballroom!

They were so accommodating. Ashton is the best, honestly. We had are ceremony downstairs and reception at high point and it was all I could have dreamed of. 10/10 reccomend. The food was amazing as well. If I could do it all over again I would still have my wedding here.

My daughter's wedding reception was at the Balinese Ballroom and we could not be more pleased. They were so easy to work with and were very accommodating. I have gotten so many compliments from the guests. I am glad we chose the Balinese Ballroom. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious.

We were in the high point ballroom, which was gorgeous! they had Christmas lights hung up all around the room for us and it was so romantic and beautiful. Ashton went above and beyond to answer every single one of my questions, met with me multiple times, and was the friendliest event manager! I honestly don't know how my wedding could of turned out without her! There is free parking for your guests and a doorman which is awesome! Highly recommend this spot for its flexibility, affordability and its absolute BEAUTY!

We were in the high point ballroom, which was gorgeous! they had Christmas lights hung up all around the room for us and it was so romantic and beautiful. Ashton went above and beyond to answer every single one of my questions, met with me multiple times, and was the friendliest event manager! I honestly don't know how my wedding could of turned out without her! There is free parking for your guests and a doorman which is awesome! Highly recommend this spot for its flexibility, affordability and its absolute BEAUTY!

Had our wedding at the Balinese ballroom. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs ballroom. Lovely space, plenty of parking, and staff was wonderful. We worked with the Balinese staff for over a year of planning and everyone was very helpful and responsive. They work with you and there is no hidden fees or charges. Ashton was great at responding to all our questions. During week of wedding, we worked with Dino who helped coordinate everything that day. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. We were impressed by his organization. He helped the day of wedding run perfectly and smoothly. Mike, the owner of Balinese, also checked on us and helped a lot also. Everyone raved that the food was spectacular, the venue was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. We even had security and parking included. Two thumbs way up!

The Balinese Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! The downstairs ballroom already has white drapery and white lights on the ceiling, so the space needs minimal decoration. We just decorated our tables and brought in some flower arrangements for either side of the DJs table. \r\rAshton was very helpful with setting everything up and always got back to us in a timely manner. She was great to work with!\r\rThe staff at the Balinese are fantastic! Very friendly and efficient. \r\rOne very minor negative is that the furniture in the bar area is a little dated. It doesn't look the best in photos, but it is nice that there is extra seating in the bar. \r\rMy husband and many of his friends are in the wine business and restaurant industry, so the fact that we could bring in all of our own alcohol was a huge plus for us. \r\rWe were able to bring in our own cake and desserts and had a dessert station set up near the front of the room. \r\rMy only complaint about this venue is that the food isn't great. The Italian meatballs are fantastic, but otherwise, everything is kind of bland. We went with the most basic menu plus the risotto bar, which was enough for my group to have for the reception.\r\rBottom line: I wouldn't eat a multi-course meal here, but otherwise the space, staff and service are fantastic. Highly recommended!

There was plenty of parking (250+ guests). We had a morning wedding, and our reception started at 12:30. There were more than enough servers, who were polite and helpful. Mike Zuppa was easy to work with, and helped us plan a wedding that was in our budget. Overall, we had an amazing experience with the Balinese Ballroom and I would recommend anyone look into them for their wedding/event!
