If you are looking for a top notch wedding venue location look no further! There was no doubt that BCC was the right venue for our wedding. The club is a beautiful setting for both indoor and outdoor weddings. Amanda was AMAZING to work with. She was responsive, helpful, organized, and just all around awesome. She helped make the wedding planning much easier and I felt more at ease the day of knowing she was looking over things! We wanted to have our cocktail hour outside but it was supposed to rain so we had it in the foyer. It ended up working out perfectly! The main reception hall was perfect for our 135 guests. It fit everything very well without being crammed. The food was outstanding! We are still getting compliments about how great the appetizers, food and service were. The staff was great as well! I would highly recommend Ballantyne Country Club as a wedding venue location. It couldn't have been more perfect!

I had my dream wedding at the Ballantyne Country Club. From start to finish, our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, and the venue played a significant role in making it so. Anano and the rest of the BCC staff did amazing during my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. The pictures were absolutely breathtaking. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the beauty of the venue, and we couldn't agree more. The event coordination and support were top-notch. Anano and her team ensured that everything ran smoothly, from the setup to the flow of the event. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that we were in great hands.The catering provided by the BCC was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The BCC went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our day was perfect. A million times, thank you!!!

I had my dream wedding at the Ballantyne Country Club. From start to finish, our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, and the venue played a significant role in making it so. We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at BCC! We fell in love with the entire space during our initial tour more than a year prior to our wedding date, and then fell in love with it all over again once the space was all set up for our day. The whole staff at BCC was so great and ensured that our party had everything we needed the day of. We wanted to include a special thank you to everyone who helped set up our ceremony inside at the last second. The final row of chairs were being set up for the ceremony outside when a storm rolled in and forced us to change our plans. The team shifted focus and set up our dream ceremony inside the Great Room, all just 2 hours before the ceremony was set to begin. The two of us and our guests had a blast celebrating our marriage and BCC played a huge part in that. Thank you BCC!!

Firstly, is the venue absolutely STUNNING! There is no shortage of places to take gorgeous pictures both inside and outside - from the lovely bridge, to the trees surrounding the lawn, to the verandas, to the lovely dining room and majestic hall when you first walk in. It rained on my wedding day but we were still able to get our fancy bridal party portraits on their gorgeous upper veranda. Secondly, their food is incredibly delicious and plentiful! My guests kept posting pictures of their meals and saying how full they were by the end of the night because the portions were generous and made by a GENIUS chef that really knows how to pare flavors together perfectly. Thirdly, I’ve never met a more professional, accommodating team than this one. The staff was on top of every single detail with multiple check ins leading up to my wedding, as well as throughout the day to make sure everything was as I envisioned it. I want to specifically mention Christina Egan for going above and beyond in coordinating all of the moving parts for my very intricate ceremony. She is truly a dream to work with. I am someone who tends to worry about every last detail and with her in charge, I never had to worry. For any obstacle that arose, she was there with multiple solutions. She is a true gem and example of the amazing team the BCC has. I truly recommend this venue and give kudos to the very hard working general manager John for having a dream team of people for a bride to work with in one of the biggest days of her life.

We LOVED working with Christina and Amanda at Ballantyne Country Club. These ladies are miracle workers- they are personable and professional and met with us in person or over the phone whenever we needed. The Ballantyne Country Club space itself is beautiful. Because we knew we wanted to have our ceremony and reception in the same place, it was important to us to have some sort of flow to the evening so people didn't feel like they were in one space for too long. This venue did just that! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all held in different spaces. While we planned for the ceremony to be outside, moving it inside due to cold weather worked out even better than I could have imagined. The staff was accommodating to this switch and everything ran so seamlessly. I am forever grateful! Highly recommend :)

They were so accommodating with my work schedule and met with me multiple times to make sure my reception was perfect. Amanda coordinated with all of my other vendors for me, which was so sweet and relieved wedding stress. I have been in multiple weddings and never I repeat never have i been apart of one that ran absolutely perfect... but luckily mine did because of BCC! They even made my husband and I to go food when we left our wedding ceremony! The food was so delicious and had so many options for my wedding guests... My guests were raving about it! I cannot say enough good things about working with BCC! Amanda, the wedding coordinator, and her team are truly AMAZING!! They are sweet, professional, kind and so on top of everything! They removed all stress and my wedding was so gorgeous! Amanda and her team scheduled multiple appointments to make sure they understood my vision and were so detailed! My husband and i recently were married at the BCC and we could not have had a better experience. Throughout our planning process, I was able to ask questions when necessary, and we really felt special when on-site for planning meetings (tour, tasting, rehearsal, etc). I can not say enough great things about Amanda and Christina, the CC's wedding planners. They ensured that the day itself was executed flawlessly which allowed for myself, my husband, and my family to focus on enjoying the day. They also added a number of wonderful touches like setting aside cocktail hour appetizers for my husband and I to enjoy alone before returning to the party to start the rehearsal. This might seem like something small, but in the moment means a lot. On top of the service, the culinary team is top notch. Our guests loved the food and the bar staff was great in working with us to have a number of local Charlotte beers from OMB, Sugar Creek and Sycamore. Getting married at the Ballantyne Country Club truly was one of the best decisions my husband and I made throughout our planning process, would recommend every time!

If you are looking for the perfect place for a beautiful wedding and a great reception, you need to visit Ballantyne Country Club. My daughter had her wedding and reception at BCC at the beginning of November 2018 and it could not have been more perfect or more beautiful! She and her girls spent the day at BCC getting ready and enjoyed a fabulous lunch along with mimosas. The accommodations for doing hair, makeup and getting dressed were perfect. The wedding was outside on the green area and was absolutely gorgeous. The reception was on the upstairs patio, which provides a great view and plenty of space. The hors-d'oeuvres were delicious as were the drinks. The reception area for dinner and dancing was decorated flawlessly, and the food was fantastic. The entire day and night could not have been better. BCC is a great venue for your wedding but becomes a perfect venue with the hard work of Amanda McCleery and the rest of the staff. Planning the event was easy due to Amanda's expertise, energy, and hard work. Under her leadership, the entire staff worked very hard to accommodate all of our guests and provided us with excellent service. Amanda took care of every detail prior to and during the event. More importantly, she and the staff took great care of my daughter and her new husband for the entire evening. We did not have to do anything except enjoy this wonderful day! I could not have been happier with our experience at BCC! We selected this venue because we really wanted an indoor/outdoor reception, and BCC was perfect for that! We decided to have cocktail hour outside, come back inside for dinner, and go back outside for dancing. Ballantyne Country Club was an incredible place to have our wedding. The combination of beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces allows for many great options for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The food was delicious , the staff was professional and gracious throughout the entire process, and the grounds were beautiful for our outdoor ceremony! Amanda, the events manager was remarkable and I cannot even imagine planning our wedding without her help. We are so incredibly thankful we picked BCC for our wedding! The food was delicious , the staff was professional and gracious throughout the entire process, and the grounds were beautiful for our outdoor ceremony! Amanda, the events manager was remarkable and I cannot even imagine planning our wedding without her help. She was extremely accommodating , creative, patient, and was able to make all of our ideas come to life! Amanda really went above and beyond our expectations. We would choose BCC again every time!

The professionalism and attention to detail that was exhibited by all staff members at the club was over the top !!! My wife and I are originally from New York and we wanted to provide my daughter with the closest thing to a \"New York \" wedding reception and I (and many the majority of the New Yorkers that were in attendance) can tell you that your organization hit the mark. The cocktail hour was great and everybody raved about the main courses of Salmon, Beef and Chicken-- well done !!!I would also like to acknowledge one particular individual, Amanda McCleery. We started working with Amanda over a year before the actual wedding and i can't tell you how impressed we all where. Her attention to detail was outstanding, everything that we discussed over the year leading up to the reception was well documented and spot on. We knew where we stood and did not experience any \"surprises\" throughout the process. Amanda's communication, particularly with my daughter, was timely clear and concise !! What we really appreciated most was her professionalism and warmth. She allowed us to present and discuss many details of the reception and interjected in a very professional manner, when asked or felt she needed to. Amanda and her team were sensational... every detail was well thought out, from the obvious to the subtle touches.... The best part, is that everything Amanda did, was done with a smile... Detail upon details went into the planning of our daughters wedding... and then the weather turned... we suddenly needed a tent, umbrellas, more lighting and draping.... Again, nothing was too much for Amanda... If you want an elegant place to have an affair, and a fabulous team to work with, this is your place!

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding/reception venue and the best care you could ask for you should look no further, as Amanda and the Ballantyne Country Club are superb. Amanda is calm, cool, collected, and the one of the happiest and hardest workers I have ever interacted with. She provided great customer service leading up to the wedding (easy to get ahold of, easy to schedule visits and taste testing’s) and provided phenomenal service on our wedding day. I wanted to decorate with a few small pieces on my own and brought her a box of our decorations and all dressing items for my ~20 or so family members who needed to get dressed for the reception at the club. She made sure to include every decoration and detail I requested, and even packed it all up for my parents at the end of the night. We were able to eat, drink, dance, and enjoy our night together without being stressed about a single detail. At the end of the night we were sent home with delicious chicken wraps, snack crackers, and even a box full of some of the sweets at the reception we forgot to try. Amanda was wonderful, and I can’t thank her enough for being so thorough and kind.

When we first arrived to the Ballantyne Country Club, we were blown away by their beautiful views and decided to select them as our wedding ceremony and reception venue. We had high customer service expectations for our special day and figured that they would provide us with it since they are a prestigious private club. Regrettably, Amanda Mccleery was assigned as our wedding coordinator. The planning process was difficult and stressful because she is highly incompetent. She failed to read emails, follow instructions, not to mention her constat attitude problem when we needed to make changes or simply asked questions. We always felt as if she never took our wedding seriously. It got to the point where we wanted to have a new coordinator assigned to us, but we were so close to the big day that we did not have the time to put a new person up to speed. The coordinator decided to go on vacation the entire week prior to our wedding which made us incredibly uncomfortable. The day of the wedding she was rude and her negative attitude was so noticeable that even our family members commented on it. We never really understood why she had this approach but it was unfair, disrespectful and disappointing. No one should be treated this way on their special day. If you decide to have your wedding celebration here, which does not come with a cheap price tag, ensure to ask for a different coordinator. On the other side, the venue is beautiful and the food is great!

I can't say enough about the entire staff at Ballantyne Country a club! Amanda was extremely helpful and flexible through every step of the planning process. We had planned to have our big day outside on the lawn but on the day of, the weather forecasts did not look promising. I was incredibly disappointed when we made the call to have the ceremony inside. I made the decision not to look at the ceremony space until it was time to walk down the aisle! I must say that I was very impressed at how the space inside turned out. It was beautiful and very intimate. It's an atmosphere that I don't think we would have had outside! After the ceremony, Amanda personally came to me and made sure I got a quick bite before the reception. The food at the reception was DELICIOUS - even our donut wall was perfect! The donut wall alone was so impressive because not only did it look great, it tasted great! The whole experience was amazing. Truly an amazing day!! I would highly recommend this venue, and staff, to any bride!

I was an absolute wreck as I got married the weekend of Hurricane Matthew was in town and my wedding was planned for outside. The night before the wedding, with no hurricane end in sight, the staff decided to move everything inside for me with no hesitation. We had the whole dining space with dance floor and everything. I was floored, I cried right there on the spot. Amanda went above and beyond day of to decorate the space. It looked breathtaking. I could not be more thankful for them and what they did for me to make my day special despite the weather. I would recommend this venue to anyone. I am not sure I can explain with words how incredible Amanda McCleery and the BCC staff was on my wedding day. I worked primarily with Amanda to put together our wedding and she was awesome!! The whole staff was so pleasant and accommodating to all our requests. Amanda responded to emails promptly and was flexible with last minute changes. I had my bridal portrait done on site and even though I was running late for my appointment with my photographer they were still able to allow me to shoot on the premises and the pics turned out perfectly. All the guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food tasted. The only hiccup in the night was that it was pretty warm during the reception (everyone looked sweaty but glowing in our pics), but I can't completely fault Ballantyne for that considering it was a steamy hot day in July, it was a pretty large party, and we danced up a storm. Lastly, Emily coordinated on our actual wedding day and she was great! If there were any issues behind the scenes I absolutely was unaware of it, so I was able to really enjoy my wedding day without having to deal with problems. I couldn't recommend Ballantyne any higher!!

I would 100% refer this venue to anyone I know. The event directors and staff were so professional, the food was outstanding, and the space was just breathtaking. I loved having the option to use both the outdoor and indoor space. My contact was extremely knowledgeable, creative, and attentive...I couldn't have asked for more guidance if I wanted to. The entire process was stress fee and every time I walked in to this club I knew I made the right decision! I wouldn't change a thing and will continue to recommend this incredible venue and staff to anyone I know! Besides the Ballantyne country Club being a beautiful venue and Danielle, the wedding events manager being quite helpful in organizing the details, my experience the day of my daughter's wedding was quite disappointing. The food quality overall was good but portions were small for the plated dinners. They could have been more generous with the salad and side-items. Most annoying were the servers constantly trying to remove everything from your table. As soon as you would go to dance or talk with someone, They would take your food/drink and utensils without your permission. They took my champagne, water, half of my beef tenderloin, butter, rolls, and coffee without asking. Many of my guests had the same experience. But most disappointing of all, at the end of the night, I told the clean-up staff that I wanted my several large flower arrangements worth over $2000. The gentleman I talked to rolled the cart to the front so I could load these into my car. I quickly loaded some other items first but when I came back to get the flowers, they had taken them and thrown them away! With all that said, if choosing this venue, I would suggest you get the buffet so your guest don't go home hungry and take any items before the conclusion of the event - including bathroom baskets, cookies, and personal items, or they will disappear or be thrown away! The BCC fulfilled our wishlist and more of what a perfect wedding should be like. Growing up in a family where my father was the general manager of a prestige club in New York, having a venue that would meet our expectations would have been difficult but BCC met them and more. There would have not been a better place to have my wedding at other than BCC. Emily was amazing to work with! She was with us every step of the way. She made our visions come true. Having a wedding that was at BCC max capacity, the layout of the dining rooms and dance floor in the grand foyer made our wedding feel intimate and perfect. The decor was amazing and what a wedding should be! Even though she was on vacation the weekend of our wedding, Lauren did an amazing job in her place. It felt like we have been coordinating the wedding with her the whole time. The entire BCC team was amazing. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding.

When my husband and I moved up to Charlotte, NC about a year and a half ago we really wanted to have our wedding in the mountains. However, after months of searching and not finding a venue that suited us and our budget, we expanded our search include the city of Charlotte - and I am so glad we did! The Ballantyne Country Club was exactly what we were looking for - beautiful exterior with lots of options for an outdoor ceremony, stunning and sophisticated interior reception spaces, and best of all - our event coordinator, Emily! Throughout the entire process Emily always made us feel like a priority. She and the staff were very accommodating of all our requests and the special needs of our older guests. \r\rAny wedding is bound to have a few minor hiccups and Emily handled them quickly, flawlessly, and gracefully. For example, one problem that surfaced was actually a mistake made on our part. My husband and brother-in-law had a miscommunication regarding a few of the guests' entree choices which translated into a handful of guests not receiving the meal they thought they ordered. However, Emily and the staff quickly corrected our mistake with smiles on their faces. The guests were happy and I was relieved. I don't know what we would have done without Emily! She was a wedding day lifesaver!\r\rOur guests are still saying how beautiful the wedding and reception were! Thank you to Emily and all of the staff that took care of us on our special day - for all the care and dedication to us and our vision that was given from the moment we walked into the venue to the moment we left as newlyweds.

The locations was beautiful,The food was great, Anitta Coordinated my wedding on that day, and her customer service was terrible. My guest complained about her attitude on that day, they said she looked unorganized. I was the bride so she was kind to me. But I dont appreciate how she acted towards my guest that day. The other manager on Duty was so polite and nice to everyone. My bar was suppose to be open for two hours that was included in my package and i heard it was only open for 1hr and 30mns.

Absolute wonderful place to have your wedding outdoor and the cocktail hour on the veranda, we had the reception and dinner indoor and it was picture perfect and the staff was accommodating. We had such a great time that we ended up staying for another hour at the end and they gave us a discounted rate since we didnt have as many people there at the end. Everything was great!
