Rhiannon Buchman(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 DO NOT book your wedding hotel block here. A week before our wedding we got a call that they had overbooked the hotel and needed to move our entire wedding block to a different hotel. There was no negotiating with Marriott; they said either we move now or when our guests come to check in they will be turned away. Moving all of the reservations in our wedding block was a huge headache because they messed up some of the reservations (only booked one night instead of two nights, needed two beds but reserved one king, etc.). That whole next week no one at the Marriott returned any of our calls about fixing the incorrect reservations. We also had to move our wedding shuttle location since it was originally going to pick up guests at Marriott. Lots of stress. Reviewed on 31-10-2022
Leslie Buchman(other)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2022 Would give 0 stars if possible! Do not book a block of rooms with this hotel! They cancelled 20 family rooms for the wedding weekend a week before the wedding. They continued to overbook rooms as they cancelled us! The highest price wins here—a year’s worth of planning cancelled a week before the wedding!! Do not trust their ‘contract’. They did not return calls or emails after they caused a huge problem for 20 families! Reviewed on 30-09-2022
Jenny Herzfeld(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-05-2021 We did not get married at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, but we used it as our getting ready hotel and it was perfect! The hospitality suite was amazing for getting ready. It has huge windows looking out over the water, a nice kitchen and sitting area, and lots of space. I had 7 bridesmaids, plus other visitors throughout the weekend, and we had so much room. It is also a really nice place for pictures. I highly recommend getting ready in the hospitality suite! Laila Shaulis(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-04-2018 I would give my actual wedding day service a 5/5 for sure. They were wonderful, so attentive, so helpful and it looked better than I even dreamed it would. It is only a 4/5 because during the planning process my event coordinator switched and she did not pass along any information to my new coordinator so it was a frustrating transition to start all over at the beginning with planning. However, my new coordinator Morena was great and made sure that my wedding day was beautiful and perfect. Reviewed on 11-05-2018

I wish I had known how difficult it was going to be to work with this Marriott in advance. I would not have had my wedding there. They caused me so much stress I had to complain to Marriott Corporate. They nickle and dime you for things that are usually included at other hotels (like charging your vendors a $50 hourly rate to use the freight elevator). They also verbally told me that I could change my time line, but then booked another conference in my hall the morning of my wedding, so I had to push back my entire timeline. I would NOT recommend this location at all! Save yourself the stress! Reviewed on 09-10-2017

If the outside of the spectacular Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel, does not help You decide to choose this magnificent place as Your venue, the inside of the building will be more than sufficient. RimasFilms was glad to capture another fairy-tale wedding here. The outstanding Baltimore harbor views from The Grand Ballroom mesmerized each and every guest at the party, which was run smoothly by the courteous staff, always helpful, smiling and prompt. My husband and I wanted a place where all of our guests could spend the night so they didn't have to worry about driving. The sales experience was unlike any other venue I visited. She was prepared, organized, and able to answer any questions I had. The service during my wedding was amazing! Our event coordinator on site, Christine, was wonderful. She was also so friendly and helpful I knew I had nothing to worry about! The food was amazing and the views from the ballroom foyer was breathtaking. I would not have chosen any where else to have my wedding and would recommend the Marriott to any Baltimore bride! Bryn Member(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-07-2013 The Marriott Waterfront - Baltimore was outstanding! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Baltimore wedding. The only thing I would suggest is going through the contract and all the little font they add in. Write everything thing down when speaking with the sales team. When you meet with the planner, things seemed to be missing. All my guest loved the food and hotel in general. I didn't have one bad said from any of the guest. I would recommend the 4th floor with the beautiful view!!!!!! Reviewed on 13-08-2013

Lisa Powell(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-11-2012 The Marriott did an excellent job from start to finish. Our guests were so impressed the the high quality of service and ambiance of the venue. The food was also outstanding...and we got to try it all at the tasting which was perfect. One of the nice services offered by this venue was a private room for the bridal party to hang out in during the cocktail hour, giving us a break between pictures and the reception so we got a chance to have a drink and something to eat. G Jones(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-03-2012 When getting engaged, my biggest fear was the fact that I was not getting married in New York. I was born in and I grew up in NY, my life was lived in NY for 23 years before moving to Maryland. I always thought I would get married in NY no matter where I lived because that was the only place that I felt like home and the only place I knew everything to be fabulous. The thought of traveling to and from New York to plan the wedding was just not reasonable and would surely eat up part of my budget. So I decided to look in areas that reminded me of my favorite places in New York, but also complimented our relationship. The Marriott Waterfront was the 3rd venue I visited, and although I fell in love right away and new it was the best match, I needed to have my fiancee fall in love as well. That was not difficult to do. We visited about 10 sites in total and within days we knew, this was the place for us. We quickly signed contracts and got on our way to planning. \r\rWe held our rehearsal dinner, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception at the Marriott and for every event, we felt as though we were in a separate location without having to leave the actual building. The views of the Harbor were amazing. The Staff words can not express how great they were.\r\rMy bridesmaids and I were given a hospitality suite the day prior to the wedding, where they went above and beyond to make it an occasion to die for. We had butler services (on the house). We had robes for all of us. My coordinator Samantha Gardner made everything on my wish list happen, still within my budget. I have so much to say about the venue, but so little time and so I will say this... Plan your wedding with Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. They're family and they will treat you as one of their own. Alice Drayfahl(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-08-2011 Althought the Baltimore Marriott was not cheap, they really over delivered in everything that was promised. Debbie Ehler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-04-2011 The Marriott has terrific views from the banquet areas in their hotel but this is only the beginning. The food was outstanding, nowhere near the classic \"hotel food\" many have. Their event coordinator, Jordan, made everything perfect and our wedding suite was a 6 room (with Kitchen!) suite on the 30th floor. We had panoramic views of the entire water front and beyond. Further, because we booked early we were able to get a steal on the price per head. Nothing but a fantastic review for them!! Reviewed on 27-05-2011
Vickie Schulman(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-08-2010 Everything here was great. We loved it, and we wouldn't change a thing. The downside was that it was a little expensive. We also wished that our event coordinator was better at responding to our emails in a timely manner, but we still wouldn't have changed a thing, and our Bridal suite and our Groom's suite were AMAZING!!! Gorgeous views of the Inner Harbor. Reviewed on 06-09-2010
