Rustic Barn Venue with sunset views
A wedding venue in Blum, TX, Barn on the Brazos is ideal for couples dreaming of a rustic celebration. The barn is surrounded by 880 acres of farmland, with expansive views of the surrounding countryside. It is picturesquely situated near the Brazos River with illuminated silos silhouetted against the magnificent night sky. Barn on the Brazos sits on a working cattle ranch located south of Dallas and Fort Worth. The barn has been renovated in preparation for weddings, incorporating several modern amenities while staying in touch with its history. Guests from out of town can easily find overnight accommodations in the numerous nearby cosmopolitan centers. The farmâs convenient location ensures that you donât need to sacrifice rustic beauty for the ease of your loved ones. The city of Dallas is just an hour away, with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport taking less than 90 minutes to reach by car. From its position on the cliffs overlooking the river, Barn on the Brazos offers breathtaking natural scenery for wedding photos. The barn is decorated with elegant chandeliers and market lighting. Ceiling fans offer a welcome respite from the hot Texas sun, so your guests can be comfortable no matter the weather. The silos beside the barn are outlined in twinkling lights for a unique feature when darkness falls. . Outdoor ceremonies can be held at the arbors, where guests are seated on handmade wooden benches. Couples can customize every aspect of this venue to better make it fit in with their vision. The barn can hold up to 150 guests. Any wedding businesses are welcomed here, although the team at the farm can direct couples towards one they would recommend. Tables, chairs, and linens are all supplied, to give couples one less thing to have to organize. Various other pieces are available for decoration at no extra charge, including glassware, signs, and table skirts. For added convenience when cleaning up, couples can donate decorations to the barn for use in future weddings.

I canât not say enough positive things about Cathy, Curtis, and Chad. From the second we met them (to book the venue) Cathy has gone above and beyond to make all of my dreams and visions come true. She was there for me all day on my wedding day, and she also made my rehearsal a breeze. They care about their brides SO much, you will absolutely not regret choosing barn on the Brazos as your venue. Curtis was always around to move things/fix things/hang things up and is just such a sweet guy. Chad drove us around to all of the best pictures spots for both engagement and wedding portraits. This family is great and you would be lucky to get to work with them!

This was the very first venue I looked at and fell in love but I still looked at close to 20 other venues. I still came back to this one. From the very first interaction we had, it was just a welcoming and comforting experience. Cathy and the entire staff really treat you like family. They are very accommodating, extremely knowledgeable and super responsive to any questions I had along the way. I highly recommend Barn on the Brazos for any event but especially your wedding. It made a chaotic day rather relaxing.

Curtis, Cathy, and Chad were a pleasure to work with. They listened to our wants and helped make the day perfect (our main want was including our dog in the ceremony, which they had no problem accommodating). The barn is beautiful and the views on the bluff are breathtaking. Everyone complimented the venue and really enjoyed the wedding and reception. They've also got a nice supply of decorations you can use. If you're looking for a barn venue, I highly recommend using the Barn on the Brazos.

The Barn on the Brazos is the most beautiful and perfect venue to have a wedding!! I had my wedding there on October 1st and I wouldnât have wanted my wedding anywhere else! Cathy, Curtis and their team were absolutely wonderful! Very down to earth, helped us out wherever we needed it, helped coordinate the wedding day, helped out with beautiful spots to take my bridals, they go beyond 110%! They arenât there to just make money, theyâre there to help make sure that you have the BEST day plus some! They also provided a list of all kinds of vendors to help out with figuring out who to use (and a lot of them were vendors that have been at the venue before). The venue itself is absolutely breath taking! How I pictured my dream wedding would looks and the location, The Barn on the Brazos was it. It was the one and only venue I looked at and once we met The Haileyâs, I was sold! Thank yâall so so much for helping make my special day the absolute most perfect day imaginable!!!

For a young couple paying out of pocket this was very comforting to us and they were able to schedule us in within six months, which is an impossible task to complete but was very easily done through them. I felt like I was being care for by family and I will always remember how kind and sweet these owners were to us. Highly recommend would not change a thing BEST day of my life.

We had the wedding of our dreams, if your looking for that rustic feel this is the place to book your wedding. The view alone will have you wanting to book. But one of the big reasons we booked with Barn on the Brazos was because of Cathy and Curtis they are so helpful so kind. They make you feel at home, which made our time being out there incredible. From taking our engagement pictures to our wedding day out there I couldnât have asked for better days. The day of the wedding that morning they made sure we were set to go then we got ready and by the time the wedding was about to start they were there helping in anyway they could. Curtis snapped a few behind the scene photos & to have those raw pictures we will forever cherish them. They were both so excited for us & it made my heart feel very warm. The barn is very unique where you have your reception itâs something others havenât seen before & we loved every bit of the property. The bride suite alone was gorgeous & the grooms suite is perfect for the men and itâs very nice. If I could give more then 5 starts I definitely would. I could go on for days about this place and tell you every detail. We loved it so much, thank you for letting us book with you and giving us the wedding of our dreams â„ïž

THey help you figure out your layout and set up. That was such a huge help. The photo opportunities are endless outside the venue and inside. Everyone loved getting photos out here. The best part of the venue are the owners. Cathy and Curtis are the most amazing people you will ever meet! They make sure your day is perfect. I feel so blessed to have been able to have my wedding here. not only is the venue beyond breath taking but Cathy and Curtis are amazing and so caring! we had some hiccups with some of our vendors but Cathy came to the rescue and quickly got everything taken care of. We loved this venue for our wedding! It was perfectly elegant & rustic. The venue owners are very professional and very friendly. They worked with us through our long engagement (two years) and a tornado hitting their venue 1 month before our wedding. The venue is now more beautiful than ever! We had a beautiful ceremony & reception and they helped run things all day & evening /set up and take down and were a big reason our day went so smoothly. Canât say enough good things about this venue or its owners!

I donât have enough room to say enough good things about the owners of this venue. All Iâm going to say to future couples looking at this venue is that you will not find the kind of service from the owners. The venue was hit by a tornado two weeks before our wedding and they worked tirelessly to get it back up and running for us to still have our special day. If that doesnât prove the type of work ethnic you will get I donât know what will. They truly pour their heart and souls into this venue and will go to the ends of the earth for their couples planning a wedding there.

I absolutely loved this venue. Itâs so beautiful and the owners are fantastic. I really donât know what I wouldâve done without their help. Cathy was my Day of coordinator and went above and beyond. I LOVED this Venue almost as much as I LOVED the owners, the Haleyâs. They were the most accommodating, sweet and helpful couple during the whole wedding planning process. They have redone their barn that sits on 88 acres on a working cattle farm with views that will leave you speechless. If you love rustic ambiance with a huge slap of elegance, this is your place! They have even redone silos that are attached to the barn. One is a storage room full of all the rustic decorations you could ever want. The other is a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite that is the PERFECT place for you and your girls to get ready in! They have a 4 bedroom house on the property that you can rent out for the whole weekend as well, for a super reasonable price. I will recommend this venue over and over again to everyone!I could go on and on about them & their place but you just have to check them out yourselves. I LOVED this Venue almost as much as I LOVED the owners, the Haleyâs. They were the most accommodating, sweet and helpful couple during the whole wedding planning process. They have redone their barn that sits on 88 acres on a working cattle farm with views that will leave you speechless. If you love rustic ambiance with a huge slap of elegance, this is your place! They have even redone silos that are attached to the barn. One is a storage room full of all the rustic decorations you could ever want. The other is a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite that is the PERFECT place for you and your girls to get ready in! They have a 4 bedroom house on the property that you can rent out for the whole weekend as well, for a super reasonable price. I will recommend this venue over and over again to everyone!I could go on and on about them & their place but you just have to check them out yourselves. You will NOT be disappointed..I GUARANTEE IT!â€ïž

Cathy and Curtis were the sweetest couple to work with and helped so much. This was the first and only venue we toured and I fell in love the second we drove up to it! Thereâs a room full of decor that brides have donated over the years youâre able to use which was a big help and saved us a lot of money. We booked their 2 night stay which was so convenient thereâs a 4 bedroom house right next to the venue youâre able to stay the night at. All of our pictures turned out absolutely breathtaking!

I seriously have no words to accurately reflect how amazing our experience with Cathy & Curtis and The Barn on the Brazos was. We originally booked for a May 2020 after falling absolutely in love with the venue. As we all know, that was the hot time for CoVid-19 to strike. The Haleyâs were so gracious and gave several decisions: to have a small intimate ceremony and a larger event later, or we could move our date all together, etc... We ultimately made the decision to move our date. Cathy and Curtis were helpful, supportive, and attentive to all it would take to reschedule a whole wedding. We had the venue for the whole weekend (AMAZING) and when we showed up on Friday all our pre-picked decorations (provided by the venue) and tables were all set up. This made it so easy to show up and have a relaxing and fun time. They helped with coordination the entire time: direct traffic, open and close the ceremony doors, literally all the small things most people would hire a person to do. You can tell the Haleyâs care about their business, their clients, and their stunning property. They want nothing but the best for their couples, and work tirelessly to make your day perfect! I should also mention the sunset is out of this world. The barn sits perfectly on top of a hill that at the perfect time is the best place to catch a famous Texas sunset. I couldnât have imagined a better place with better people to get married. BOOK WITH THEM- it will be the easiest decision of your whole wedding!!

I can not say enough good things about The Barn on the Brazos or the owners of this wonderful venue! We knew when we met Cathy and Curtis for the first time over a year ago, that this was the place for our special day. Not only are they extremely welcoming, but they have so much experience with all facets of your wedding day that they put your mind at ease. You are allowed to bring in your own vendors so you can make it unique to your wedding vision and they work so well with everyone you choose. They offer a wedding weekend option where you get the use of the property including the guesthouse with several bedrooms. Since most of our guests were from out of state, I am so thankful that we chose that option! And they have the most amazing supply room that has so many decorations from past weddings or items for the venue they have chosen , that you can use at no charge! It saved us so much money and we were able to pull things last minute to amp up our reception look too! When the pandemic hit, none of us knew what that meant for weddings or how much we would be affected. Our wedding was scheduled for Labor Day Weekend and once my fiancĂ© and I decided to proceed with a lower guest count, I contacted Cathy to discuss everything and she offered such good advice. Despite all the changes we had to make to our original guest count to make things safe for everyone, the venue was the least of our worries. I THANK GOD that we chose The Barn on The Brazos! We were also excited that we got to take our engagement photos on the property and it gave our photographers the opportunity to see the layout of the venue ahead of time, and plan their shots. We chose an evening wedding so we could have a sunset backdrop for our ceremony. The day of the wedding it stormed a good part of the day, but I was only a little worried since there was a plan âBâ Cathy and Curtis had discussed with us. Our saving grace? Curtis was in the venue closing stuff up to keep our decorations intact, blowing water out wherever necessary, drying the outside benches, and was on ant patrol all day long. Earlier that morning we still had to decorate our wedding arch and had limited time before hair and makeup was starting. I showed Cathy my flowers and the garland we were using, and she stepped right in to help secure them along with my MOH and the groom. She used that designer eye of hers to guide the placement and it turned out beautiful! We ultimately did get to get married outside under that arch at sunset just like we planned, and it was stunning! I donât know what I would have done without Cathy and her special touches throughout our ceremony and reception, or Curtis shuttling us around and taking such good care of the place! Since Iâm an animal lover( and had my fur baby in our ceremony), I canât forget to mention the resident fur friends of the property either. Boots and Popeye! Popeye is a little shy but Boots loves to be in the action and was a welcome guest at our rehearsal dinner ( we held at the guest house), and for our wedding day. All of my guests had so many wonderful things to say about the beauty of the venue (evident by their amazing pics taken on their phones), the laid back nature of the place, the doggies, and most of all Cathy and Curtis. We love them! And lastly let me say this: if you are planning a barn wedding in Texas you need to look no further! Trust me: our wedding day was like a dream Iâm still waking up from...

You can really tell they do this because they love it, and they love seeing everyone's happily ever after moment. They handle EVERYTHING day of. Cathy ran around and decorated day of and honestly made the venue look even more perfect than it already was. When we first drove up to the venue and saw all the lights on the silo on I told Ryan this is it. We hadn't walked around, hadn't seen anything other than the breathtaking view in front of us and I had already made up my mind. The fact that two of the most wonderful people run it only made it better. I can honestly not say enough about this venue and the people. You will NOT be disappointed and you WILL have the best day ever if you use this venue. We had rain on our wedding day and Cathy and Kurtis held out until fifteen minutes before the wedding ceremony to make the call. There was a break in the rain and we actually were able to make the ceremony just in time! They have a room full of decorations and linens to use. Not only that but it comes with wonderful ideas from Cathy. As a nervous (stressed-out) bride, I can promise you that I will never forget how much stress Cathy took off of me that day. I was able to relax (as much as I could) and enjoy the process while she worked to organize and finish the final touches on everything.

As we drove away from Barn on the Brazos for the first time after doing a tour of the beautiful venue and talking with Cathy and Kurtis I thought to myself this is it this is where I want to get married so I looked over at Darrel and said this is it I donât want to look anymore and he totally agreed with me. The property has breath views and stunning sunsets. There is no doubt Gods beauty is present throughout this venue. And honestly I really donât like calling it a venue because Cathy and Kurtis make you feel lat home. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and they will go out of their way to make your special day wonderful. We had the venue for the whole weekend and made a wedding weekend out of it celebrating with family and friends. Not only do you get to have an amazing place for a ceremony but they provide tables chairs and Linens at not extra charge. There are also a vast array of decorations and signs for the bride and groom to use. We were able to choice our own baker, Caterer, florist and DJ. I have had numerous guest and family members tell me how beautiful our wedding was and how beautiful and stunning the venue was. I canât say enough about how amazing our wedding day was and most of this was due choosing Barn in the Brazos for our special day. I canât thank Cathy and Kurtis enough. Please give this place a look I promise you wonât be disappointed and I am sure you will fall in love with this place just as we did. And you will love Cathy and Kurtis as well. As a mother of the bride I could not recommend Barn on the Brazos enough. The Haleys were absolutely wonderful to work with. We did the weekend package and being able to stay on the property was such a blessing. From helping park, stocking the bar, transitioning from ceremony to reception, and everything in between the Haleys were right there to help. They made the day (and day leading up) so easy for us and we got to enjoy our daughter getting married. Amazing venue, views, and owners.

As a mother of the bride I could not recommend Barn on the Brazos enough. The Haleys were absolutely wonderful to work with. We did the weekend package and being able to stay on the property was such a blessing. From helping park, stocking the bar, transitioning from ceremony to reception, and everything in between the Haleys were right there to help. They made the day (and day leading up) so easy for us and we got to enjoy our daughter getting married. Amazing venue, views, and owners.

Barn on the Brazos was the best decision we ever made!! Easiest venue to work with and was so accommodating and helped any way they could from providing decor to linens. Beautiful barn and most beautiful scenery you could ever imagine. The venue has a hunting lodge on grounds to stay in also and that was amazing. You canât beat the owners either they are AMAZING TO WORK WITH.

My husband and I got married at Barn on the Brazos on October 13, 2018. There are not enough nice things I could say about this venue and the Haleys. From the moment we booked with them (and even before we officially booked) the Haleys made us feel like top priority until our wedding day. Cathy and Curtis have such an eye for wedding everything and could not have made the barn and our ceremony look more gorgeous. The weather was completely unpredictable our wedding weekend and the Haleys made sure that everything was in place for a plan B. We were lucky enough to be able to still have the ceremony outside, but I had absolutely no worries if we would have had to move it inside that Cathy and Curtis would pull it off perfectly. The venue is so gorgeous and the Haleys make it even more worth while by being the sweetest couple that go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure your wedding day is more than perfect.

The Haley's at the Barn on the Brazos were what made my wedding unforgettable. The venue itself is so beautiful with breathtaking views. But the Haley's make you feel like family. They help with everything they can from helping with seat up to picking up people from the parking area, to stocking the bar to making sure everything happens on time and I am sure many things I don't even know about. It made my life as a bride easy and care free. I can't wait for my next event at the barn on the brazos.

Let me just say from the very first time we contacted the owners to the end of our wedding day.. I donât think we couldnât have had a better experience here. Curtis and Cathy are such amazing and cooperative people. They made us feel at home and like a part of their family! The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking with views of rolling hills behind the ceremony area, and the rustic barn was plenty big enough for our 130 guest reception. If you are looking for a rustic barn wedding, you definitely need to make a trip out there because I promise it will be worth it. Not to mention the house that is available where you and your wedding party can stay the night before and the BEAUTIFUL bridal suite they renovated in one of the Silos! Also, they have awesome recommendations for photographers, caterers, florists, etc. The Barn On The Brazos will always hold a special place in our heart!!

We had our daughters wedding at the Barn on the Brazos March 3, 2018. It was absolutely beautiful! Cathy and Curtis are so wonderful!! They made sure everything was taken care of and made our weekend stay and wedding stress free!! They are so easy going and great to work with!! We have had so many compliments on how beautiful everything was! We have never planned a wedding before but Cathy was absolutely wonderful. She helped us with all the decorating! She does amazing work!! LOVE HER! Highly recomend the Barn on the Brazos!! Beautiful place and very reasonably priced for everything that is included...with NO hidden fees!!

This venue is sure to impress! It's more then just your average barn, showcasing beautiful chandeliers and unbeatable views. The arbor allows for a beautiful sunset ceremony and the silos will light up the party through the night. The owners, Cathy and Curtis, are unbelievably kind and more than accommodating.
