Welcome to Barn South. We think you'll feel at home here. Located north of Atlanta in Talmo, GA, Barn South exemplifies a luxury Southern destination with natural character. Crafted by the vision of designers and owners Rachel and Mark Campbell, they envisioned a comfortable and luxuriously tailored gathering space for sharing in life's momentous celebrations. On entering the property, you're greeted to an expansive view across the lush pasture to the charming white farm barn. Closer inspection unveils the details and thoughtfulness to modern touches. Stepping through the massive factory style, steel doorway, you are drawn into an interior with soaring exposed rafter ceilings that transfer the abundant natural light into a moving ballet around the space. By night, the modern gambrel barn transitions to a romantic evening glow with carefully placed barn lights and cafe strings. Envision your next event with us by touring Barn South yourself. We got married here on March 31, 2023 and it was absolutely perfect!! Beth made us feel like a part of the family and took amazing care of us! The venue itself is stunning, but the people who represent the venue, Beth and Rachel, and two of the most amazing people in the world. They make everything run smoothly from the time you book until your special day is over. If I could give 10 stars I would. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. Our guests loved having space both inside and outside that was comfortable.

We got married here on March 31, 2023 and it was absolutely perfect!! Beth made us feel like a part of the family and took amazing care of us! The venue itself is stunning, but the people who represent the venue, Beth and Rachel, and two of the most amazing people in the world. They make everything run smoothly from the time you book until your special day is over. If I could give 10 stars I would. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. Our guests loved having space both inside and outside that was comfortable.

We loved Barn South so much. This was the second venue we toured and we knew right away! Their story is incredible and the space has multiple accommodations! All the chairs and tables are beautiful so you don’t necessarily need table cloths! They allow multiple vendors and food trucks! Rachel and Beth were so communicative the whole journey for us since we booked 9 months in advance! The ONLY downside was the limited time offered for “rehearsal dinner” on site. Highly highly recommend!

We loved Barn South so much. This was the second venue we toured and we knew right away! Their story is incredible and the space has multiple accommodations! All the chairs and tables are beautiful so you don’t necessarily need table cloths! They allow multiple vendors and food trucks! Barn South is a fantastic venue. Despite its country charm, it is conveniently located within an hour of both Athens and Atlanta. The barn and surrounding landscape/accommodations are strategically situated for a smooth event, but what makes this place great is the personal touch Rachel and the Barn South crew put into your day. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and servant-like mindset are aspects that made our day so special. The venue is beautifully designed and this is to ensure that each couple can tailor their wedding to their style. I will never forget our day at Barn South... it was so incredibly special. Highly recommend this to anyone.

This venue is swoon worthy at every view! We had only seen one other venue when we began wedding planning and that was before we found Barn South. Once we met with Rachel and saw the space, we didn't need to see any more. My goal when searching was to find a space that needed little to no decorations - THIS IS THAT VENUE! It is so stunning we really did the bare minimum in decorations and it still looked so personalized and beautiful! One of my personal favorite things is the windows that span the height of the walls on each side allowing the most breathtaking natural light to flood in. And when the sun sets, the lighting situation is gorgeous.We LOVE Beth!! She is the sweetest human and a pure joy to work with. She promptly answered all of our questions, provided so much insight in the setup/layout of our vendors, and to be honest she just has that energy you want around you on your wedding day. I am sure that between Beth and my coordinator they handled things I will never know about. We could not be more happy or bigger fans of this space! We can't wait to get pictures back and add to our review. Thank you Barn South for being the very best - we love you!

When my daughter & I saw Barn South in June of 2020, our decision was made! It's absolutely beautiful! The building is overwhelmingly stunning, & the property makes for a perfect setting. Working with Rachel, the owner, was so easy! She was very accessible & accommodating. She is also very kind. My daughter's wedding was on June 5, 2021, and it turned out practically perfect! Rachel was there the whole time, & she went above & beyond time after time. The entire day was filled with joy, love & happiness, & Barn South played an integral part in the success of this sweetest couple's BEST DAY EVER! Thank you, thank you, thank you - a million times, thank you!

When my daughter & I saw Barn South in June of 2020, our decision was made! It's absolutely beautiful! The building is overwhelmingly stunning, & the property makes for a perfect setting. Working with Rachel, the owner, was so easy! She was very accessible & accommodating. She is also very kind. My daughter's wedding was on June 5, 2021, and it turned out practically perfect! Rachel was there the whole time, & she went above & beyond time after time. The entire day was filled with joy, love & happiness, & Barn South played an integral part in the success of this sweetest couple's BEST DAY EVER! Barnsouth is a beautiful, breathtaking venue. When my husband & I were looking for a venue, we did not envision a barn. BUT BARNSOUTH QUICKLY CHANGED OUR MIND! From Rachel’s professionalism to touring the place (before it was even finished), we knew we had to have our wedding there. When contacting Barnsouth, Rachel was very responsive, friendly, and prompt. When we toured, we felt welcomed. We were greeted with smiles, a personal welcome board, & drinks. (Talk about above and beyond and how thoughtful!) Throughout our whole process (especially with Covid), they were flexible and handled everything with professionalism and kept us up to date. Barnsouth was the perfect venue for us in size, cost, and aesthetically pleasing. The venue is well designed and decorated. It doesn’t need much because it’s already so beautiful! I’m all about that sleek, modern, chic look. On walk thru day, Beth handled everything with my coordinators and made sure to answer any questions we had. On rehearsal day, they had everything ready for us. On the day of wedding, Beth & Rachel were both so responsive and helpful! They did not let me stress at all. I am so happy my husband and I found this beautiful venue, owned by sweet people, to have our wedding at. You will not be disappointed with Barnsouth! Thanks Rachel & Mark for building such a beautiful place for beautiful memories to be created!

There are a lot of big decisions that go into planning a wedding, but the best and easiest one we made was to get married at Barn South. Rachel was extremely easy to work with and everything went well the day of. Barn South is sleek, modern, and forever special in our hearts. The price is extremely competitive and the value is uncharted!

Meet the Barn South Team
Rachel and Mark Campbell (Owner) Rachel and Mark Campbell are designers and entrepreneurs. They met at the Georgia Institute of Technology while they were both studying Industrial Design and married in 2006. Desiring more open space to raise their 5 children and a greater connection to the land, the Campbells bought 13 acres in Talmo, GA in 2013. Gazing across the lush pasture one evening, the Campbells envisioned Barn South - a simple yet luxurious gathering space for all of life's momentous celebrations.
