This state-of-the-art country club is home to a signature Jack Nicklaus golf course, manicured grounds, and an elegant clubhouse. To-be-weds seeking a refined and relaxed wedding celebration will find everything they need at this full-service club. Traditional stellar service combines with luxurious surroundings to create a memorable occasion for your nearest and dearest. Woodlands, water features, and manicured greens provide the perfect backdrop for spectacular wedding photographs. At Barrington Golf Club, you can exchange vows outdoors surrounded by over 150 of your loved ones. Ceremonies are held on the terrace, overlooking the picturesque grounds, peaceful pond, and stylish clubhouse. Pristine white seating is provided by the dedicated staff. Afterward, cocktail hour is held on the nearby veranda, with high tables covered in pristine white linens adding to the sophisticated ambience. Receptions are held in the main ballroom. This spacious room is characterized by full-length French windows that allow abundant natural light to seep in. Classic furnishings and plush interiors provide the ideal backdrop for elegant soirées. The floorplan can be curated to reflect your tastes and preferences, with either round tables or banquet-style setups available. I am the MOB (2 daughters), and we have booked 2 weddings at Barrington Golf Club. We were so pleased with with the first one that we did not hesitate to book the second one there as well. Elyse the clubs Event Planner, was very accommodating and thorough. The Club itself is a beautiful venue in a gorgeous setting. Our guests were all so complimentary, and most importantly, the Bride and Groom were so happy and loved every aspect of their special day. I highly recommend Barrington Golf Club for a wedding location.

Barrington was everything we dreamed of for our wedding celebration. Elyse was so easy to work with and made everything look so easy. She was there for all of our questions and never skipped a beat throughout the entire process. I am very particular when it comes to details but didn't have to worry about a thing. Not only was this a beautiful venue but the food was also incredible. Very rarely is food great at a wedding simply because of the number of people that are in attendance however all of our guests raved about the quality.

Barrington was everything we dreamed of for our wedding celebration. Elyse was so easy to work with and made everything look so easy. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we owe it all to Elyse and the team at Barrington! Elyse is the best of the best and was fantastic to work with the entire time. She kept us updated on new changes due to Covid and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. We received endless compliments all night and after regarding how great the staff at Barrington were, how amazing the food was, and how much fun everyone had. If I had to do it over again, I would pick Barrington every time!

I was told by multiple people it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. The chicken bites with maple sriracha sauce were a hit! Plus they had a dessert bar which people loved. What a venue! Elyse and her team were phenomenal! She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and the whole experience was enjoyable and as less stressful as possible. The food was great and the venue itself is beautiful. We still get compliments on our dinner and the scenic background made our pictures look like something straight out of a fairytale. My husband and I could not be happier.

Choosing Barrington Golf Club was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Elyse – the coordinator – was incredibly detail-oriented and always timely in communication. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to our big day to talk logistics through in person and she had a lot of helpful ideas to contribute in the planning process. She also managed all the decorations and logistics for the actual wedding day, and made sure the whole event went smoothly by communicating with all the vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page.Day-of, the service was incredible. Pre-wedding we were told by family/friends that we wouldn’t get the chance to eat during our reception – the staff at Barrington made sure this was anything but true. Throughout dinner people kept coming up to the two of us making sure we had all the food/drinks we needed – they even set aside hors d’oeuvres from our cocktail hour at our table to make sure we got a chance to taste those before the actual meal! Also, the food itself is incredible – we got lots of compliments throughout the night on how good it was.Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Barrington, and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a venue.

The venue itself and the grounds were beautiful, the staff was professional, helpful and friendly, the food was excellent and our wedding planning questions were answered promptly and with great detail. The final bill was exactly as we had anticipated - no surprise charges at the end! Lastly, the Event Coordinator Elyse Broer, is a true gem - she helped us cross every “t” while we were planning out the details, and she helped make the wedding day itself run incredibly smoothly as well - I can’t speak highly enough about Elyse and her incredible service! I would have another wedding at the Barrington in a heartbeat!

Elyse was AMAZING throughout the entire process leading up to our big day. She was organized and on top of it all, thinking of every detail and calming my nerves along the way. Chris and the service staff did a phenomenal job keeping up with our guests and delivering food and drinks quickly and efficiently. The food was DELICIOUS and definitely the best food I’ve ever tasted at a wedding. My husband and I were married at Barrington this fall. Elyse made everything easy for us to plan! She was very organized and had great ideas to help our day go smoothly! The bartenders and waitstaff were amazing. They were very attentive and detail oriented. All of our other vendors were happy to be working with Barrington. All drop offs were smoothly and the DJ was easily able to transition from outside to inside for dinner. We cannot recommend this venue enough. Weather it is for a wedding, graduation party or corporate event, we would happily plan a party here again!

We had the best wedding at Barrington Golf Club. Elyse was absolutely amazing at helping set the time frame for the day and steering us in the right direction on big decisions. Everything ran smoothly, and our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the venue was. We wanted an elegant, but relaxed venue and Barrington was just that. We have beautiful photos and were able to enjoy an outdoor vibe wedding with the dance floor, lounge chairs and fireplaces, bar etc outside, while being able to be inside to socialize. It could not have been more perfect. Absolutely would recommend to anyone!

This venue was perfect for our wedding! It was absolutely beautiful and so spacious. We were able to have our ceremony and reception outside - dinner was inside. There was space to have the dancing under a large gazebo and patio with bonfires for guests who didn't feel like dancing or they could go back inside and sit at the dinner tables. The food was delicious and received many compliments from our guests. There are still some guests commenting on it today. Elyse Broer, the venue coordinator, is very organized and did an amazing job setting up the venue with our decorations (table numbers, wedding favors, card box, etc). She also did an amazing job keeping us all on track on the wedding day and helped avoid potential crises (ex provided a steamer because my wedding dress was not properly steamed by my bridal shop). She was always readily accessible and answered all my questions promptly. I would recommend this venue to everyone - I really could not have asked for more.

I definitely would recommend Barrington Golf Club for any or all of your wedding needs. It is such a beautiful venue for not only a reception but for the ceremony as well. Our daughter had the ceremony/reception at this beautiful venue. The food was phenomenal! Our family and friends were blown away with our meal selections. So Many Compliments!! Elyse Boer the Wedding Event Coordinator is simply amazing to work with! She listened to my daughter and I and helped put all of our ideas into play. Through phone calls and emails she was ALWAYS there for us! She literally blew us away on the day of our daughters wedding! From getting things set up, tables, centerpieces, ceremony, reception, working with our vendors, to making sure everything fell into place and kept us all on time with the itinerary. She made sure we had everything we needed or asked for, the day of our daughters wedding. She put all of our minds at ease so that we were able to enjoy the wonderful day!So very happy with Elyse Boer, the Chef and all of the staff at Barrington Golf Club. Elyse and her Barrington staff were amazing. The attention to detail and carrying out our vision was great. Everyone was was so helpful and kind. The venue was not only beautiful but spacious and comfortable. Our guests had nothing but compliments. All I can say was our day for our daughter was perfect!!

Barrington was the perfect venue for our wedding! It had the best of all worlds, indoor dining combined with outdoor dancing and lake views. All of the food was phenomenal, and so many of our guests RAVED about it. Elyse did a great job of making sure the groom and I were always taken care of - she brought us a whole plate of appetizers that we otherwise would not have gotten to enjoy because we were greeting guests. Aubrey and John's wedding was awesome thanks to Barrington Golf Club (and the many others who were involved!). The facility provides a beautiful and glamorous setting for an indoor or outdoor event. There was also an abundance of space provided for all of the wedding party members to prepare for the event.Mother nature cooperated and we had a wonderful ceremony overlooking the lake and an evening of socializing and dancing outdoors. The surrounding landscape, lake, and golf course provided a great background for pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime.Both the hors d'oeurves during cocktail hour and the dinner were fantastic. I have been to Barrington Golf Club on several occasions for fund raisers and the food has always been spot on. Dinner was inside in an elegantly decorated dining room. The large glass windows allowed the guests to continue to take in the beauty of the golf club during dinner.One would expect that things could not get any better, but they did. The staff was outstanding during the wedding, catering to the needs of all individual requests. I greatly appreciated the efforts of Broyce, Carlie, Danny, Taylor, and their fellow staff members who helped make the evening a wonderful success!Finally, a deeply sincere thanks goes out to Elyse who worked with my wife Carol to coordinate the event. Elyse guided us through the process, listened to our needs and concerns, provided insight and suggestions, and effortlessly (at least to us) made the whole event come together flawlessly. Wonderful venue and event planner! We had such a beautiful wedding day and heard multiple times from our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been too. There's no venue like Barrington. We chose the barrington for all of those reasons and special to us is that my sister and I have severe food allergies and we were very nervous we wouldn't be able to eat during my wedding day. I had actually planned on not eating on my wedding day because of the fear of getting sick. We were catered too through the whole process. They went out of their way to make sure that they did everything they could to prevent us from getting sick. It was so nice to come to the venue on my wedding day and leave everything else to Elyse who made Emmy vision look beautiful. She also was a lifesaver when my florist didn't bring a toss bouquet and she quickly made one without me even knowing. Book this venue you won't regret anything.

Dinner was inside (beautiful, and delicious) Dancing outside, the bar was off in a corner and there were little lounge areas with glass rock fires. These separate (but intimately connected) spaces made the reception unique and fun, it was quite different than just being in a giant hall. Great attention to detail overall, great space, great staff...the whole thing was amazing.

Fantastic venue for a wedding and reception. The spaces for the bridal party to get ready were fantastic. The ceremony went smoothly and the transition to the reception simple. The spaces available for the reception are really quite amazing. The Barrington Golf Club was an exceptional wedding site. The wedding was on a beautiful outdoor area. The food and service was impeccable. We heard from so many friends and family complimenting the venue, the food, and the love of the couple themselves. Elyse is very good in what she does, from keeping things on track, to letting the family make their event how they wish with helpful guidance. The facility offers a unique layout that flows nicely for the entire ceremony and reception events. The ladies dressing room offers a very comfortable and pretty area for the bridesmaids to enjoy spending the day getting ready and sharing special moments. We selected four dinner entrees, which were prepared perfectly by Chef and outstanding. A must visit when planning your wedding.

Our family cannot adequately express how beautiful our daughter and son-in-law's wedding was this summer. A year prior we went in search of a venue in Northeast Ohio that would provide us with a place for an outdoor ceremony and outdoor space for the reception because we wanted our guests to enjoy a beautiful summer evening and not be in a banquet hall all evening. As soon as we met with Elyse we knew that we would be able to plan the perfect day while staying within our budget. The wedding was perfect. I cannot think of anything that we would go back and change. We had a wonderful menu and two of our Guests that are chef/restaurant owners were very pleased with our selections! Many guests stopped us throughout the evening to say that it was the best wedding they had ever attended and that we had \"set the bar high\" for future weddings. In fact, two months later, after many of our guests have attended other summer weddings, they still tell us that nothing can compare to ours. Elyse and her staff were so organized during the event that we didn't have a thing to worry about and we could just enjoy our guests. Elyse had covered all the details of the evening and knew exactly what time things were to occur, what decorations went where, any detail you can think of was planned for. We also had a late evening snack which was so appreciated and well-received by our guests after dancing! We truly are so happy that one year ago we made the decision to select Barrington!

Elyse (the event coordinator), the kitchen staff, servers and bartenders went above and beyond to make the event magical. Every aspect of our wedding reception was well thought out and cared for by the staff. Not once did I feel like I had anything to worry about during the planning process - every question was answered before I could ask it, every request was met with a smile and every expectation I had was so far exceeded that I was just in awe of how truly perfect everything was. Our guests were comfortable, catered to like royalty, STILL talking about the food because it was THAT amazing and had such a great time that they are telling us they wish they could relive our wedding day too! I seriously cannot say enough great things about this venue. To start, Elyse is absolutely perfect. She is the event coordinator that works side by side with you as you plan the wedding. She made sure that my vision was exactly as I wanted, offered suggestions when needed and never pushed to increase the amount that we were spending. We were able to create the wedding of our dreams with the budget provided. The ceremony itself is gorgeous. It overlooks the pond on site. Our guests loved the outdoor atmosphere with cocktail hour on the patio as well as the ability to be outside after dinner with the patio furniture. Dancing under the gazebo was by far my favorite part. They have beautiful lights set up and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. The bar was great and they were able to keep up with the demand of our guests all evening. The line was short every time I looked over and the signature drinks were a hit. Dinner was also fabulous. The salmon was perfect and they worked with us to have a Parmesan crusted chicken that tasted amazing. The buffalo chicken egg rolls were also fantastic as an appetizer. The wait staff was very professional and made sure everything went smoothly. At the end of the night, they had boxed everything up for us that we just had to pick up in the morning. This venue really does take care of everything and makes sure that your wedding is everything you wanted and more. I cannot thank Elyse and her crew enough for helping make our wedding day the absolute best

Barrington was an outstanding venue for our daughter's wedding. It provided an unusual indoor/outdoor experience for our guests that made it both different and exceptionally beautiful. There are multiple outdoor terraces where guests could relax and enjoy watching the outdoor dance floor under a beautiful,covered rotunda. We had guests seated indoors and outside on the veranda for dinner. The indoor area is lovely and has a homey feel with 3 different rooms that open onto one another via large french doors. I was concerned that guests on the veranda and in the smaller indoor rooms toward the back would not feel included in the toasts etc. We solved that by having the toasts done outdoors on the veranda during the cocktail hour instead of inside when guests were seated for dinner and it worked beautifully! Just make sure you use a good quality microphone as I think some guests had a hard time hearing the toasts. Probably a good idea to practice the microphone with the sound system prior to the event which we did not do. The band sound was great though. The food was exceptional and we received so many compliments. The chef is truly gifted and I highly recommend the sea bass as one selection but everything was delicious. Elyse who is the wedding coordinator is also exceptional at what she does. This was our first daughter to get married so we really didn't know what we were doing going into it. Elyse made everything proceed seamlessly. She is extremely detail oriented and kept us on top of things every step of the way. And she worked so hard the night of our wedding. She was there the whole night and helped ensure things ran smoothly. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated her expertise. She is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the wedding and provided invaluable suggestions that respected our budget as well. The photos are also so lovely and Barrington provided a wonderful backdrop for them. Highly recommend this as a wedding venue!\r\r

Barrington was absolutely stunning for the reception I just attended there. The views of the grounds are gorgeous, and the dining area for events was simple and elegant. I was also blown away by how friendly, thoughtful and quick the staff was. \rOn the food and event side, Elise and Chef Buchner were the best team I have seen in catering in awhile. The food menu was unlike anything I have ever seen at a wedding and everything was delicious! Definitely worth the travel, regardless of where you live. One of the best venues in our area BY FAR!

Barrington was absolutely stunning for the reception I just attended there. The views of the grounds are gorgeous, and the dining area for events was simple and elegant. I was also blown away by how friendly, thoughtful and quick the staff was. \rOn the food and event side, Elise and Chef Buchner were the best team I have seen in catering in awhile. The food menu was unlike anything I have ever seen at a wedding and everything was delicious! Definitely worth the travel, regardless of where you live. One of the best venues in our area BY FAR!

Simply put- Barrington was the perfect place to get married- I had the best day of my life. I had both my ceremony and reception here. \rI am a perfectionist and married my husband after being together for 8 years so I had some specific ideas about what I wanted and throughout the entire process, Elyse- the event coordinator, made the experience organized and enjoyable. She managed my day with absolute perfection. I felt so calm and the fact that it rained and we had to make last minute changes to the ceremony didn't remotely concern me. She also made excellent outside vendor recommendations that I used.\rThe venue is intimate, romantic, has natural décor and is very versatile. You can easily incorporate the inside and outside seamlessly and the dancefloor under the veranda outside was very popular with my guests. \rI know most people probably say that their wedding was the best they have ever been to-but literally everyone that came said that it was the best wedding they ever attended- and I am probably the harshest critic. The food is insanely good, the venue layout is ideal for good flow and the Barrington staff did a phenomenal job. Honestly it was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process and I would 110% recommend Barrington to any bride that wants a beautiful and organized day.\r

That the weather was perfect certainly added to the beauty of the day; but I felt from the start that no matter what, it would be a day to savor and enjoy. \r While this time, I was a \"participating guest,\" I did spend 18 years as a Party Planner in Washington, DC. If you are looking for a place in Cleveland to get married, this is it. The setting of the Barrington Golf Club is breathtakingly beautiful. For me, I wanted something that was different, and I didn't want a hall, and Barrington was both of those things. The room is gorgeous, with molded ceilings and big beautiful windows and a very cozy yet elegant feel. The outside is so pretty that you feel like you have to use it. Like I said, the setting is amazing. \rNow, onto the important stuff. The event planner there was hands down my favorite person to deal with throughout the wedding planning process. She never left me hanging, she got things done always in a very timely fashion. She totally helped make our vision a reality and I trusted her 100%. The day of the wedding I think I maybe saw her 2 times, but I know that she was everywhere making things run smoothly because I have had multiple guests ask me if \"the girl with the blonde bun\" was the wedding planner or what, followed by them saying that she had things under control and how great she was. She was such a great asset to us. She made the experience easy and I think she helped us to be very calm, or at least as calm as you can be! ;) Elyse is a reason all in herself to choose Barrington as your wedding venue. \rNext, one of the things that I think people remember the most, the food. I absolutely can not say enough about the food. It was incredible! Steaks I feel are a tricky thing at a wedding because for me they are a necessity, but you always run the risk of them being not cooked properly when they are being cooked at the volume they are when you are at a wedding. Not one person out of the 100 people who had steak have said that it wasn't cooked properly. We have had people tell us that it was the best steak they have had in Cleveland. My dad, who is a big steak man, he frequents restaurants like Hyde Park and Flemmings, said that he thinks is was one of the best steaks he's had in a long time. We also had pierogies as our vegetarian entree, and they were incredible! We had sea bass as our fish that was cooked perfectly and a nice change from the typical salmon. And a sausage stuffed chicken breast that was to die for! The chef at Barrigton is incredible. Everyone that I have talked to tells me how beautiful everything was and then quickly raves about the food! The appetizers, the entrees, both were something that I feel people are going to remember about my wedding for a long time! \rThe few pictures that I have seen from my photographer are beautiful and we stayed right there to do our pictures. The setting is so pretty that we didn't need to go anywhere else to take pictures. We also got married there. The veranda that you get married on overlooks a big lake that is surrounded by trees and the second weekend in October, it was picture perfect. \rI really can't say enough good things. I listed our price in this review because I want people to know that we did everything very high end. We had top shelf liquor, the chivari ice chairs, glass chargers at every place setting, 6 passed appetizers, tables linens with overlays, ect. We went all out, and ended up at 198 people. I looked around at a lot of the higher end venues and this price was the price for their lower end wedding and they weren't nearly as pretty as Barrington is. The food doesn't compare. Do yourself a favor and take a look. Set up a meeting with Elyse and book Barrington as your venue. You won't be disappointed!!

I have to say I'm a picky bride. I won't settle for any thing. I have visited tons of venues around cleveland. Till I find my absolute favorite Barrington.\r\rBarrington is gorgeous! I couldn't ask for more. Beautiful environment, amazing food and services. The best part is Barrington's event planner Elyse. She is super helpful, patient and detail oriented. The big day (the longest day of 2014 ;) ) went smoothly. I didn't need to worry about any thing. Barrington had everything organized. Since it's a private golf club, it has a lot amazing spots for taking wedding pictures. My wedding wasn't religious, so we had ceremony there too. The space over looks the lake, which makes beautiful pictures. I also loved the fact that the dance floor is outside (kinda gazebo like). Lot of my guests told me that my wedding was one of the best they've ever been.\r\rBarrington definitely achieved my high expectation and made me a very happy bride. I highly recommend this place!\r

I have to say I'm a picky bride. I won't settle for any thing. I have visited tons of venues around cleveland. Till I find my absolute favorite Barrington.\r\rBarrington is gorgeous! I couldn't ask for more. Beautiful environment, amazing food and services. The best part is Barrington's event planner Elyse. She is super helpful, patient and detail oriented. The big day (the longest day of 2014 ;) ) went smoothly. I didn't need to worry about any thing. Barrington had everything organized. Our wedding was both inside and outside at Barrington and it worked out beautifully. Jennifer was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. The whole area is gorgeous and it was more beautiful than I ever imagined!

Barrington Golf Club provides a beautiful venue for a bride who would like the beauty of an outdoor venue...but does not want to take a gamble with the weather. Dinner is served indoors and the dance floor is outside, beneath a beautiful veranda. Jennifer, the event coordinator, is fantastic to work with and very helpful. The staff was wonderful and the food was DELICIOUS (better than what we had during the official tasting). The only downfall of this location is that the music has to end at 11:30p so arranging an after-party can be difficult...but I can guarantee by that time you'll be more than happy to sneak away with your new husband.
