I truly don’t have enough words to describe just how incredible our experience was with the Basking Ridge Country Club for our wedding. From the moment we met Stephanie when we toured the venue for the first time, we knew it was our place to get married. We had a 2 year engagement, so we had A LOT of interactions & questions with mostly Stephanie, (and Jessica when Stephanie wasn’t available). Every time we spoke to her we felt reassured and a sense of calm that can’t be explained. Anything we went to her with, whether it was a concern, question, request, anything - she was cool calm and collected. She made every effort to make sure our day was as perfect as it turned out to be - and she beyond succeeded. You can tell that Stephanie truly loves what she does, and that this is her passion. Her attention to detail is amazing. She truly feels like family to us after all of this planning & our beautiful day. As far as the country club - it’s stunning. We fell in love with it before the renovations, and after the interior was redone - we still absolutely loved it. The scenery and grounds outside are breathtaking- no matter what time of year. The food is absolutely out of this world. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about both the quality and quantity of everything from our cocktail hour, to dinner, to our cake (they work with Calandras Bakery - and this is enough to use them as a venue all on its own!) The staff who worked our wedding (servers, bartenders, etc.) were the kindest, most attentive people I’ve ever met. They made sure not only my husband and I were taken care of, but every single one of our 120 guests. Menz the maître d was constantly checking in with us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. They also all worked so well with all of our vendors from florist to photographer to DJ - it was truly the best day of our lives. If we had to do it again, we would 100% go to BRCC all over again. Stephanie & everyone else - we cannot thank you enough. This day wouldn’t have been what it was without you all!

When I got engaged, I narrowed down my search to 9 venues and scheduled tours for 6. BRCC was the first venue I saw and after the tour, I canceled the rest of them. I knew I wanted something classic, modern, and elegant and the BRCC was that and more! After we signed the contract, they renovated and now have beautiful wooden floors and neutral colors throughout, which matched the aesthetic of my wedding. Stephanie was easy to work with, always answering my emails in a timely manner. She took care of us at our menu tasting, led the rehearsal, and was on top of everything on the day of. Our ceremony was outside on the golf course. Everyone kept saying how gorgeous and open the cocktail hour area was and how delicious the food was. The staff, in particular the bartenders, were fabulous as well. The BRCC is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend for future brides!

The venue was beautiful for a summer wedding outside by the tent, and then we moved inside for the reception. The staff was all very attentive, and the food was AMAZING! We did a brunch and absolutely loved everything served. A truly amazing wedding venue that we would recommend to anyone!

We saw some friends last weekend and they raved about the food! The ballroom was so elegantly decorated and it was everything we wanted for our reception! The staff was so attentive and we would book another event at Basking Ridge Country Club in a heartbeat!

My Husband and I got married on November 28th - 3 months after getting engaged in the middle of a pandemic. The Basking Ridge Country Club helped make all of our dreams come true! Stephanie was our point person and she made me feel calm and taken care of during the entire process! We loved our wedding day and wouldn't change a thing. The Venue was gorgeous, the food was fantastic and the entire staff was very helpful and accommodating. We are very happy we chose this venue for our special dy!

Everything and everyone at Basking Ridge was amazing! The catering sales manager, Stephanie, was soo helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Stephanie and her staff set up all of our decor perfectly and really eased our worries by letting us know they had it all under control. The ballroom looked so amazing. There was so much food and it was all delicious. They really listened to everything we asked for and it was executed perfectly. Our ceremony was outside on the green and the October day was BEAUTIFUL!. We have no complaints and would definitely recommend this venue for a great place with fair prices

We had our wedding at the Basking Ridge Country Club this past Friday and it was everything we could have imagined. We worked with Stephanie from the very beginning and she was amazing. We had to postpone our reception from 2020 to 2021 and we had no issues at all. Stephanie was extremely responsive and so easy to work with. The food was delicious. The venue was gorgeous. The scenery was perfect for pictures, inside and out. Our guests all had a wonderful time and were so happy to be able to celebrate. I highly recommend this venue!

I know now not to get married at a golf country club. I must say my ceremony was not how I vision whatsoever. Since it had rained on the day of my wedding and stop perfect timing to do the ceremony outside. I was not informed that my ceremony was not going to be out by the grass in the open golf course. It was pushed back to the turf against the tent, where cocktail hour is. I didn’t felt like a bride walking only a few steps down the aisle. As I remember the discussion I had with the wedding coordinator of the venue. If it’s not possible to do the ceremony outside, we would agreed to do ceremony in the tent and push the cocktail inside the venue. By the time I find out, is when I was lined up to walk down the aisle. Also, when all the bridal party is ready to be lined up. The wedding coordinator of the venue asked them to head down to the tent but all the guests weren’t seated at the ceremony. So while my bridal party is line up in the tent, all the guest came swarming in to greet the bridal party. You would think someone in the venue will have the guests attention to be seated and the ceremony is about to start. Weddings are so stressful especially when you have planned this for 2 years while the pandemic. As the guests are finally seated, I noticed the bridal party was not lined up in the order I had them in. I have gave the list to the wedding coordinator and my sister was trying to explain to he coordinator this person is supposed to be line up here/there. The wedding coordinator brushed it off and said she had done this before. Of course, the bridal party was not going to bicker back and forth.While waiting for everyone to walk the few steps down the aisle, I have a young lady, who is assisting the wedding coordinator, helping me to put my veiled on. My veil did not feel secure and I noticed she did not put my veil correctly. I rushed to fix it myself. Also, the young lady, did not fix the end of my veil. I have a long veil with crystals and I can feel the crystals grabbing on the turf. I was afraid my veil will come off while walking. During the our vows, there was a lot of commotion and disruption by the golf course near our ceremony. There was a family with children playing golf and the children were running around near the ceremony. I would think there would be someone there or they would notice there is a wedding going on and have toned down a bit. It went on for 5mins. As I’m thinking, finally you don’t hear the commotion anymore but now there was a young employee of the venue. The young man started a golf cart and tried to drive away. Not only he revved the golf cart, he also hit another golf cart and then back up. While he was backing up he also hit the golf cart behind him. At this point, I wanted to cried because after the ceremony and during cocktail hour. The guests were talking about it. That’s not something you want to hear from your guests. There was no one there to stop it. I was completely stressed and disappointed how things turned out. Our maitre d was never there when we needed him. I had to get one the of the groomsmen to help find the wedding coordinator of the venue.The only great thing about the venue is they have excellent food and the view. The guests were raving how delicious everything is and beautiful.

Wow. Where do I begin?! We had the most perfect, dreamy, marvelous wedding at the Basking Ridge Country Club - all thanks to the incredible BRCC team! From the very beginning, Stephanie went above and beyond to help coordinate, plan, and organize the wedding day with me. She was so responsive and replied to crazy amounts of emails from me trying to plan the details. On the day-of, everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to her impeccable guidance, positivity, and organization. All the other team members we worked with, from the maitre d' to the barstaff and waiters, were all incredibly friendly and efficient - constantly making sure guests were happy with a drink (or food) in hand. Despite COVID-19, the BRCC helped us celebrate a beautiful and safe wedding ceremony and reception. They went above and beyond to make the day special despite COVID-19 restrictions (i.e. serving plates of appetizers to each table instead of passing them around, offering a post-dessert \"food-truck-esque\" food item to take to-go, and so much more).On top of the incredible customer service and experience, the BRCC is gorgeous venue. We had a perfect fall day, and the areas around the BRCC were stunning for our wedding photos. While it is a golf course, there are plenty of areas to take photos without the golf course in the photos. The tent where we had the reception was beautiful and spacious, too. We are beyond thankful for the BRCC and their amazing team!!! Endless thanks for helping us have the most beautiful wedding of our dreams.

We had our October wedding here and it was surreal!! We loved Jessica who helped us every step of the way and answered all 1000 of my questions. Stephanie at Basking Ridge has been our all time favorite person to work with. Overview: Having only planned one wedding, I feel I can confidently say no matter how laid back you are, wedding planning is a uniquely stressful process. You get caught up in foolish details that you think won't matter. You conjure up what you think this one day will be like for almost a year before it happens, talk about setting impossible expectations! Despite all of this, the events team, in particular Stephanie Bailey, gave us the perfect day. Stephanie fit right in with my family, provided helpful vendor recommendations from her historical knowledge, was professional, warm, and witty as heck. We had the attention and care we needed and I am happy to boast that three months later we continue to receive rave reviews of the incredible night our guests had. Details: We rented out both the ballroom and the tent. Being a hot day in June, we had the appetizers in the ballroom and moved to tent for dinner and dancing. Much to the happiness of every guy in a suit and most of our immediate family, the tent was perfectly cooled and you could see out on the putting green for a beautiful evening where we took photos with our guests and enjoyed a drink. Everyone said the appetizers were over-the-top and were more than enough for our large wedding - especially considering our 89 yr old grandma apparently had so many she was too full for dinner - LOL. Stephanie gave tasty recommendations including the take-out-Chinese station, Oktoberfest station and our favorite, the mini shepherds pie, which were stuff your face good. The champion of the night (can you tell we like food) was the braised short rib entree that had our friends picking scraps off the plates of those who got up to dance. The only surprise we had was our taste-test before the wedding didn't hold a candle to the day of, but maybe it is better that way! Finally, the mandatory, twist my arm, cake vendor called Gourmet Touch was old-school Italian style reminiscent of my hometown bakery. No longer being jersey residents, we couldn't have been happier. We chose a tangy raspberry and lemon filling to compliment the fluffy buttercream frosting. All-in-all A++, 10/10 would do the entire day over in a heartbeat.

BRCC is a hidden wedding venue gem! The price is great, the venue is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. I worked with Stephanie and she was the absolute best. She is calm, professional, very responsive and great at her job. I had no worries the day of my wedding because I knew I was in good hands. The entire staff made sure we had everything we needed the entire day and were a pleasure to communicate with. The venue also worked really well with all of my other vendors making sure the flow of the night was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue.

It is surprising to us that the last review posted on The Knot for Basking Ridge Country Club (BRCC) was in September 2016. We just had our wedding on Sunday 9/9/2018 and it was ÂMAZING. We had so many compliments from all our wedding guests that it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they had ever been to. BRCC is like a hidden gem in the midst of many beautiful venues in New Jersey. BRCC immediately caught our eye when we toured it for the first time after looking at 6 or 7 other venues. We could not believe the price — so affordable for what they offer. I believe it was about $120 per person after accounting for ceremony fee, maitre’d fee, taxes, etc — other venues in the surrounding area with a comparable level of luxury seemed to be in the $175-200 per person range! The venue is beautiful, clean, renovated with a beautiful color-changing lighting system, included Christmas lights hanging down all around (we did not need to purchase additional lighting services from our DJ which saved costs too), and they have a beautiful outdoor tent with indoor lighting and air conditioning (we used this for our ceremony because it was raining). Stephanie Bailey was great to work with and made us feel so comfortable — she was there when we first toured the venue, and she was with us every step of the way, including being the coordinator on our wedding day. She let us drive the golf cart!!Like other venues, their priciest day is Saturday, followed by Friday, then Sunday. I wanted to note that the price we listed was for Sunday, but was still much cheaper compared to similar venues on Sundays. The best part is that they only do one wedding per Sunday, so we got to customize the timing of our wedding however we wanted. We decided to do 3:30-4pm ceremony, 4-5pm cocktail hour, 5-9pm reception. Because we were the only wedding of the day, we were able to have helping hands come early in the morning to set things up (no rush after waiting for another wedding to finish), ask our closes guests (family members mainly) to arrive at 2:30pm for early pictures so we could enjoy the wedding in peace without worrying about missing key pictures later on. No one rushed us out after 9pm and the last guests were still able to mingle and take last minute pics for the next hour. We essentially felt like we were able to add almost 2 hours to our wedding free of charge, and the issue with being a Sunday wedding (ppl go back to work Monday etc) was not a big deal as most people just took off Monday. The ones that did not take Monday off were still able to make it home and sleep at a good hour due to our flexibility in ending the wedding around 9pm (some people left around 8:15pm but did not miss much.Overall, BRCC was absolutely the best decision for our venue and we could not be happier. The food, especially cocktail hour, was fantastic. The drink selection was great and open bar was from 4-9pm. Cake was included and terrific - Gourmet Touch Bakery. Our vendors also really loved it as well — it was easy for vendors who came for the first time (Sky Cinema Films - videography) to navigate the venue, and it brought back fond memories for our photographer (Yan Schwartzman) to come back since he has come here before. There is a beautiful place for pics nearby at Leonard Buck Garden. Overall, BRCC is a beautiful venue inside and out, and would 100% recommend it as not just a great bang for your buck, but a wonderful choice for the wedding of your dreams.

We could not have been happier with our experience at BRCC. We looked at a few other venues before meeting with Stephanie, and we knew from our first meeting that it was the venue for us. We had our wedding in the tent, and it was perfect for the laid-back vibe we wanted (i.e. not the typical Jersey ballroom). Our guests were blown away by the ambiance, food, and service, and their pricing is an incredible value compared to other venues in the area. Stephanie was amazing to work with; she was on the ball every step of the way, and super responsive to every question we had (especially as we got closer to the day of.) She was flexible and accommodating, and truly helped us make our wedding day reflect exactly what we wanted. My mom also chose to throw my wedding shower at BRCC, and we had a beautiful day (with incredible food) for that as well. My family has already said they'd absolutely throw future events and parties here. I could not recommend them enough!

We could not have been happier with our experience at BRCC. We looked at a few other venues before meeting with Stephanie, and we knew from our first meeting that it was the venue for us. We had our wedding in the tent, and it was perfect for the laid-back vibe we wanted (i.e. not the typical Jersey ballroom). Our guests were blown away by the ambiance, food, and service, and their pricing is an incredible value compared to other venues in the area. Stephanie was amazing to work with; she was on the ball every step of the way, and super responsive to every question we had (especially as we got closer to the day of.) She was flexible and accommodating, and truly helped us make our wedding day reflect exactly what we wanted. My mom also chose to throw my wedding shower at BRCC, and we had a beautiful day (with incredible food) for that as well. My family has already said they'd absolutely throw future events and parties here. I could not recommend them enough!

Danielle was so helpful and answered the many emails I had and was so responsive and helpful during the whole planning process. On 8/6/16, my husband and I had our wedding reception at the Basking Ridge Country Club. I cannot say enough for this wonderful venue. Choosing BRCC was the best choice we made in the entire wedding process. From the very start when we went to look at BRCC, we were greeted so warmly by a staff that was not at all pushy. We worked with Stephanie as our Coordinator and we absolutely adored her from start to finish. Stephanie was kind and caring and professional. She clearly had much experience and her calm demeanor was so comforting as she guided us through the whole process of planning and executing the wedding. At BRCC you get a family-like experience. They treat you as well as your families and friends as if it is your home. They cannot do enough to accommodate and make all of you happy. It was so touching and added to the family-feel of our wedding.The venue is on beautiful grounds and the recent renovations are apparent. This doesn’t have those old tacky “wedding venue carpets” or ugly chairs! On the contrary it’s all neutral colors and fancy shimmery updated chairs. The food at this venue is TO DIE FOR! Guests are still raving about the amazing food. This is not surprising, considering their chef is so talented and spends hours with the couple at a tasting! The day of the wedding at BRCC was so simple and care free. The staff took care of everything! They set all of our props and our decorations to perfection. Everything was elegant and beautiful. We were taken care of nonstop at the wedding- as the bride and groom we had our own waiter who would have our drinks refilled before we even realized they needed refilling, and our plates cleared and replaced with second servings as soon as our utensils hit the table. My husband and I felt like King and Queen. They unobtrusively took care of us all night long! Furthermore, this same treatment was given to our parents, which made it all the more special.BRCC surpassed our every dream and expectation. I would go back and choose them a million times again if I had to. If I could rate them with more stars than the maximum, I would!

I had the most amazing wedding day thanks to Stephanie and the staff at Basking Ridge Country Club. BRCC is a beautiful venue with an amazing view. There are fireplaces in every room and updated décor. The ballroom has a nice deck outside overlooking the golf course. From our very first meeting, Stephanie made me feel comfortable and was able to help me imagine my wedding day. She was in constant communication and would answer any and all questions that I had throughout the planning process. The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone any better. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and was exactly what I was looking for. The food was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The service for our event was out of this world and each guest felt very taken care of. They made sure me and my husband were attended to at every moment and that we were ready for anything that was going to happen during the wedding. My parents were also very pleased with the service they received as well. We have been hearing for weeks how great the food and service for our event was. Every detail of our night was meticulously looked after by Stephanie and we are extremely pleased with our wedding reception. I would highly recommend Basking Ridge Country Club and Stephanie!

I cannot rave enough about BRCC and Danielle specifically - we met with her for our initial tour and she was a big part of the reason we chose BRCC. She was so responsive to our initial inquiries (we never waited more than 24 hours for an email back - sometimes it was as little as 5 minutes) and she was so friendly and made us feel like our wedding was important to her. After we signed our contract, that didn't change. Danielle was so attentive and so easily approachable to ask questions. She was willing to help us every step of the way, and she made the entire experience so much less stressful because of that. Our day itself was absolutely perfect. Everyone at BRCC did their best so that we never had to ask for anything, including putting a small dray of passed appetizers in the bridal suite for me and my husband. The staff was super friendly, and all of our guests had so much fun. They are raving about the food (including our friends and family members who are chefs) and we agree! Especially the cheesesteak sliders during the cocktail hour!!! I'm still hungry for them! Our decorations were put out exactly as we pictured them, and everything was absolutely beautiful. People have had such nice things to say about the beautiful ballroom and grounds. We absolutely could not have picked a better venue to hold our wedding at. We are so, so happy with how everything turned out and we really feel that we got a great value for our money. We had visited BRCC first during our venue search and we visited a few more venues just to make sure we saw what was out there, and the value within our price range couldn't be beat. We got so much more for our money at BRCC than other comparatively priced venues. We would recommend them to anyone, and I'm already trying to think of reasons I could hold another event there!!

I cannot thank Danielle at the Basking Ridge Country Club enough for making my dream wedding a reality. From the moment I booked the venue, Danielle worked closely with me to perfect every single detail of the day. I was not a bride who had been planning my wedding since I was five, and to be honest I was a bit clueless going into the whole overwhelming process of planning a wedding. Danielle made this 100% stress-free. She was professional, reliable, and so detailed that I really did not have much to do! When I walked in the reception room before my guests arrived, I couldn't even believe how beautifully it all came together. It was even more amazing that I imagined. The night of the wedding, I had Stephanie as my attendant and she was also incredible. She made sure I had everything I needed, took charge with my vendors, and provided me with top notch service. Did I mention the staff? Every bartender and waiter/waitress was polite, attentive, and appeared to even be having a genuinely great time serving my guests. We loved them all! Finally, the food. AH-MAZE-ING. My guests are still talking about how delicious everything they tasted at cocktail hour was and how the dinner choices were perfect. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I chose to have my wedding at the Basking Ridge Country Club.

From the moment I booked the venue, Danielle worked closely with me to perfect every single detail of the day. I cannot say enough good things about my venue!! I had done a lot of venue searching, and when I brought my then-fiancé to visit this place, he told me he was immediately sold on it. After seeing Stephanie in action, setting up for an event while she gave us the tour, I was too. \r\rShe had the same care and responsiveness during all the planning leading up to my big day. She instantly answered questions by email, helped with all the planning and took my ideas and translated them to something elegant that would fit the theme, and she and Menz-the maître d’-were present the entire wedding day, doing everything from driving us around in golf carts to and helping guests with cards and gifts. The entire staff assisted a few family members who have mobility issues. \r\rThe venue is gorgeous, and I love that they only do 1 event at a time, so we were able to have a ceremony on the green, the big tent for mingling before the ceremony and AC to escape the summer heat, and the entire upstairs space for cocktail hour and the reception. The decor is sleek and refined, and the huge selling point for me was the views of the golf course. All rooms have floor to ceiling windows and views that made everything feel fresh and open. For me, the ballroom was a great shape to get the young crowd close to the DJ, and keep the older folks close to the sweetheart table (in a place of honor) but away from the speakers. \r\rWalter, the new chef, has amazing dishes, and we were so blown away by the braised short rib at our tasting that we selected that instead of filet! It was a good choice because people are still talking about our food, especially the mashed potato bar, 2 months later. He was creative with vegetarian and allergen-free meals, and people raved about the eggplant rollotini he served. He also gave us the flexibility to make special requests to the menu, and we asked for prosciutto-wrapped melon as nod to our engagement. And Stephanie, always thinking of little details, made sure I was served a full selection of our hors-d'oeuvres in my bridal suite. \r\rWe planned this on a budget, but I feel so proud of the wedding and how everything turned out. The food, the space, and the service were so outstanding that we still get compliments. I really did feel special on my day, and I really have to thank BRCC for it.

The decor is sleek and refined, and the huge selling point for me was the views of the golf course. All rooms have floor to ceiling windows and views that made everything feel fresh and open. For me, the ballroom was a great shape to get the young crowd close to the DJ, and keep the older folks close to the sweetheart table (in a place of honor) but away from the speakers. \r\rWalter, the new chef, has amazing dishes, and we were so blown away by the braised short rib at our tasting that we selected that instead of filet! It was a good choice because people are still talking about our food, especially the mashed potato bar, 2 months later. He was creative with vegetarian and allergen-free meals, and people raved about the eggplant rollotini he served. He also gave us the flexibility to make special requests to the menu, and we asked for prosciutto-wrapped melon as nod to our engagement. And Stephanie, always thinking of little details, made sure I was served a full selection of our hors-d'oeuvres in my bridal suite. \r\rWe planned this on a budget, but I feel so proud of the wedding and how everything turned out. The food, the space, and the service were so outstanding that we still get compliments. I really did feel special on my day, and I really have to thank BRCC for it.

There are not enough words to say how wonderful our experience was with Basking Ridge Country Club! I could not have asked or wished for a better day. Stephanie and the team were so incredible in helping us every step of the way. They made every detail look incredible on the day of the wedding. We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked and how delicious the food was. I highly recommend them. The venue is beautiful, affordable, with great food and an excellent staff. I know I will be using them for future events!

Stephanie and the team were so incredible in helping us every step of the way. They made every detail look incredible on the day of the wedding. We recently held our wedding at the Basking Ridge Country club and I couldn't ask for a better experience, from planning through the wedding day. We planned the event remotely and Danielle, our sales person/event planner was there every step of the way. She answered my many questions with patience and knowledge. The ceremony and reception sites were gorgeous. We were married in on the gold course and held the ceremony in the tent, both were set up beautifully. \r\rWe received so many compliments on the location and the food! The catering staff was amazing. I could go on and on and on. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Stephanie guided us through the entire process; anticipating our questions, desires and calming our nerves when needed. \rThe Basking Ridge Country Club is a gorgeous venue, providing the casual, yet elegant atmosphere we were looking for. The food was tremendous and plentiful. Stephanie worked with us to provide just what we wanted for our guests. \rEveryone was accommodating: from allowing the use of a golf cart for photos, to working with our vendors, to gathering up everything at the end of the night. \rOur 170 guests were very complimentary and are still talking about how great everything was. The waitstaff was unbelievable, attending our guests' every need, allowing us to enjoy the entire experience. Menz, Stephanie and others were on hand from the beginning to end to make sure everything ran smoothly. \rIf you're looking for a beautiful, reasonable cost venue with professionalism, terrific food and helpful staff, this is the place! \rWe had attended a small wedding about 10 years earlier and when the time came, we knew this was the place for our daughter's wedding.
