Located at the edge of downtown Jersey City’s Newport Yacht Club Pier, this remarkable property offers a captivating waterfront space for couples and their loved ones to gather and celebrate their wedding day. Battello and its entire staff is an absolute dream come true! Leading up to our wedding, Megan was beyond helpful, even when I sent multiple back to back emails with my 1 million questions! On the day of, she executed everything perfectly. Tammy was a lifesaver, as she also attended to our two small children during the night. She was always there to help us out and no task seemed too big for her! Our entire bridal party said she was basically a magician - when they needed something, they'd turn around and there she was to help. TRULY AMAZING! The food was beyond - our guests have raved about it nonstop since our wedding. Tammy boxed up a ton of goodies and sent us home with so many leftovers. I cannot say enough about this venue and the incredible staff. Of course the location is gorgeous, but the people working there go above and beyond to make this venue one of a kind. We want to relive this night every day for the rest of our lives. I could not have imagined how amazing it would be!!! They say to expect things to go wrong on the day of your wedding, and truly, not one hiccup happened, and if it did, we were blissfully unaware!

Battello was the absolute best choice for our wedding!! We already knew we loved the food and the atmosphere but from the very first meeting Megan made the planning process so easy (you read that right, wedding planning was easy with the amazing staff at Battello)!! Battello was the absolute best choice for our wedding!! What a venue. I mean they were fantastic from the beginning. The food and drinks? To die for. The staff? Above and beyond (especially Tammy!) . The planning was effortless (thanks Megan!) and we are STILL getting compliments about our big day! Would I do it all again? You bet I would!

We had our wedding at Battello in November and it was truly 10x better than we could've imagined. From the start, it was very easy to trust Dominique, she's such a pro — so communicative, easy to work with, and kind! She answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding so quickly and clearly, and I didn't have to worry about hiring a wedding coordinator because she had everything on lock with the team. Megan ended up being our day-of support and she was so on it! She made the entire day feel effortless and fun, and reflected our stress-free vibe. She even helped coordinate a small bridesmaids bouquet with our florist literally seconds before we walked down the aisle because one of the bridesmaid's bouquets got lost. Tammy was our queen — she was the BEST bridal attendant and took care of the entire bridal party all day and night long! Plus took extra special care of Paul and I during the wedding <3 I'm 100% convinced if we had our wedding anywhere else, it wouldn't have been the same. The entire team and staff is SO incredible and everyone is still raving about the food and service. Battello is the best of the best!

Absolutely amazing venue! Megan was our coordinator and was exceptional from the start. She is organized, easy to communicate with and ensures your wedding is seamless. The wait staff and bartenders are efficient and a well organized group. Tammy was our bridal attendant and honestly she is amazing- super helpful and is by your side all day. Our guests were super impressed with the food from cocktail hour and entrees. Not to mention beautiful views of NYC. My husband and I are so happy we had our wedding here. 1000% worth it!

Absolutely amazing venue! Megan was our coordinator and was exceptional from the start. She is organized, easy to communicate with and ensures your wedding is seamless. The wait staff and bartenders are efficient and a well organized group. Tammy was our bridal attendant and honestly she is amazing- super helpful and is by your side all day. Our guests were super impressed with the food from cocktail hour and entrees. Not to mention beautiful views of NYC. My husband and I are so happy we had our wedding here. 1000% worth it!

We had the most beautiful wedding at Battello. From Megan being there every step of the way to Tammy the bridal attendant the day of - they were so professional and buttoned up. It made the day that much better knowing we had wonderful people helping us. This venue was breathtaking- many guests said the food was superior, the cake was the best wedding cake they had and the venue was stunning. 10/10!

The best way I can describe Battello is \"PERFECT\". From the moment my husband and I met with Dominique at Battello we knew we had found the place we would want to celebrate our marriage. We loved the idea that our wedding would feel like a big party yet also an intimate dinner party. The venue design, backdrop and natural lighting of the venue were definitely an added bonus.Being an Event designer and planner, I wanted to make sure our venue aligned with what I strive to get for my clients... Impeccable service, delicious food, stunning location and I can honestly say that Battello was all of that and more.Before the wedding we came into Battello for dinner with friends, family and even a few date nights and every time we felt so welcomed by the entire team. Tammy specifically came out of her way to say hi every single time.Dominique, the event coordinator is an angel! She was so helpful and open from the start. It was so important to me to have a great relationship with our coordinator as I know how important her role plays in the overall event. We could not have imagined how seamless the experience would be with Dominique. No matter the question, she always replied quickly and with helpful information. I will miss working with her!Tammy, our bridal attendant was amazing and the most helpful! I have personally worked at so many venues and I have never seen a more accommodating bridal attendant. Every time I turned; she was there with a smile on her face happy to help with whatever we needed. She bustled my dress in minutes and help me remove my vail without misplacing a single hair.We got married this past August and we have not stopped hearing how “this was the best wedding we have every been to”. Guests of all ages have been raving about how insane the cocktail hour was, how amazing the service was and how beautiful the location is. The attention to detail from the entire Battello team is something you will not find anywhere else. There was not an ounce of stress on us knowing that we had Battello’s team handling our wedding day.I will be telling everyone I know to get married at Battello, just so we can celebrate there again. Our wedding at Battello was amazing. If you're looking to have an easy, delicious and gorgeous wedding, this is the place! I was never much of a DIY bride, so Battello was a perfect fit and gave us the peace of mind we needed. The venue is beautiful and has so much built in decoration. Hotels across the street reduce the need for buses and transportation logistics. And the team at Battello is impeccable. There were 0 hiccups throughout the process and on the day of. Not to mention the food is absolutely phenomenal.

We had the most perfect summer wedding at Battello! The space is beautiful with an unparalleled view of NYC. The food is amazing. Our guests cannot stop talking about how incredibly delicious all the food was. The entire staff at Battello is terrific. Every step of the wedding process was seamless. Megan and Dominque know exactly what they’re doing and communicated everything to us throughout. They were super accommodating and flexible with anything we asked about. On the day of Dominque was there the entire time, and Tammy was extremely attentive to all of our needs. We can’t wait to go back to Battello for our anniversary, and hope to attend another wedding the in the future!!

There are no words to properly thank Dominique, Tammy and the entire Battello team enough for all the ways that they made our wedding so special. From the moment we booked Battello we felt like we were their top priority throughout the entire planning process – quick replies, helpful answers, kindness and excitement – everything you could ever want from a venue, and a support system, in the stressful time of planning a wedding. I truly don’t even understand how they do so many weddings as they do, especially with this level of service, it’s unmatched and worth every penny.Battello is top notch from the food to the service. Being local to the area and at a Battello wedding before, we knew the venue was special (and delicious) and didn’t even tour any other alternatives before booking – call us crazy.The food at Battello is simply incomparable to any other wedding food you will ever have and it’s the #1 thing our guests still can’t stop raving about! As a restaurant it’s already expected to be above and beyond, but for a wedding event it really is the same care and deliciousness. How many venues can you say the food didn’t suffer when serving this large of a group? Unreal. Battello even allowed us to bring in small little things we wanted to personalize with such as decor and local treats/food truck vendors to make it unique to us as a couple, never once did we get pushback or no as an answer. Dominique always said yes and even made helpful suggestions with her expertise which we very much appreciated to make our wedding even better.Even beyond the food and the environment, the people who work here are the real stars who elevate the experience. Dominique as the head of events and Tammy as bridal attendant were the heroes of the night ensuring everything went according to plan but the servers and staff behind the scenes are equally as amazing and treated our guests the same way we were treated as the bride and groom. They are professional, attentive and helpful – not to mention I don’t think I went up to the bar once, there was always someone ready to refill my drink. Dominique and the staff handled everything swiftly with grace and 0 things went wrong (aside from the weather) how many couples can say their wedding was perfect? I have no words or explanation other than it was all Battello. Even when we go for dinner there months later we are treated with the same special service like we’re getting married there all over again!On top of it all, we loved that we didn’t need to do much to make Battello beautiful. Of course we had a wonderful florist who decorated, but the beauty of Battello (and the skyline view) is that the space doesn’t need much and it’s so beautiful as-is, everything else just adds to the magic!Dominique and Tammy were alongside us every step of the way and I am shocked to admit that the rain didn’t affect our day at all even though we couldn’t extend our party to the outside space. Battello handled the pivots due to the weather with grace and we had the most perfect wedding – even if we had to take pictures inside, I am shocked to admit that literally the only misstep of the day was the weather which was the one thing Battello (& I) couldn’t control.Battello makes it so easy for couples and it’s beyond beautiful, delicious, and one-of-a-kind special. Our daughter’s wedding at Battello was nothing less than magical! Our guests RAVED about the food, service, unique space and of course the spectacular view! Megan, Tammy and the entire staff could not have been more attentive and professional… my daughter and her husband lacked for nothing throughout the day and evening. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say the only regret I have is that it’s over!!

Our wedding at Battello was beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is breathtaking with lots of natural light and amazingly high ceilings. The food was delicious and the service incredible. Our guests has a phenomenal time, as did we! The outside space with skyline views was so unique.

If I could give them 100 stars I would!! Megan, Tammy, Dominique, and the entire staff were on top of everything. Megan helped make planning a breeze. All of our guests were completely blown away by not only the beauty of the venue, but also the food/drinks, and how attentive the staff were. I can't say enough good things about Battello. Choose this venue! It's hands down the BEST.

All of our guests were completely blown away by not only the beauty of the venue, but also the food/drinks, and how attentive the staff were. I can't say enough good things about Battello. Our wedding was literally perfect and Battello is the best venue to have ever existed. We got married on memorial day and the weather was absolutely perfect making the skyline views and outdoor space that comes with the venue even more perfect for your guests. Our whole experience was AMAZING (this word does not even do Battello justice) from the first moment we met Megan we knew we wanted to get married there. Megan/Battello basically makes the wedding planning process so easy as they have the day down to a science. Megan is the kindest, sweetest, and most helpful person you will ever meet and is incredibly responsive when you have logistical/aesthetic/ general questions about your day. Once you get to your wedding day Megan/Tammy/ rest of the Battello team are a powerhouse. They literally take care of everything on the day of so that you and your family can enjoy every second of the most important day of your life. I am not kidding when I say not a single thing went wrong the day of our wedding or if it did we had no idea because of the professionalism / ability of Battello. Tammy was a literal angel the day of our wedding, when we first arrived for our first look I was starving even though I had eaten breakfast / snacks. I mentioned it to Tammy and she got us the most delicious fries we have ever eaten in our lives which helped me and my now husband make it through the rest of the day. Moreso, Tammy is just there for whatever you need throughout the day, she makes you feel so special and we could not be more in awe of her positive demeanor. Another amazing thing about the Battello is the food. All our guests raved about the food and how delicious everything was from cocktail hour, to dinner, to our after party late night snacks. So many people said it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to!!!Honestly, I think our wedding day would have been much different if we didn't choose Battello. Our wedding was literally perfect and Battello is the best venue to have ever existed. We got married on memorial day and the weather was absolutely perfect making the skyline views and outdoor space that comes with the venue even more perfect for your guests. Our whole experience was AMAZING (this word does not even do Battello justice) from the first moment we met Megan we knew we wanted to get married there. Megan/Battello basically makes the wedding planning process so easy as they have the day down to a science. Megan is the kindest, sweetest, and most helpful person you will ever meet and is incredibly responsive when you have logistical/aesthetic/ general questions about your day. Once you get to your wedding day Megan/Tammy/ rest of the Battello team are a powerhouse. They literally take care of everything on the day of so that you and your family can enjoy every second of the most important day of your life. I am not kidding when I say not a single thing went wrong the day of our wedding or if it did we had no idea because of the professionalism / ability of Battello. Tammy was a literal angel the day of our wedding, when we first arrived for our first look I was starving even though I had eaten breakfast / snacks. I mentioned it to Tammy and she got us the most delicious fries we have ever eaten in our lives which helped me and my now husband make it through the rest of the day. Moreso, Tammy is just there for whatever you need throughout the day, she makes you feel so special and we could not be more in awe of her positive demeanor. Another amazing thing about the Battello is the food. All our guests raved about the food and how delicious everything was from cocktail hour, to dinner, to our after party late night snacks. So many people said it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to!!!Honestly, I think our wedding day would have been much different if we didn't choose Battello. Megan, thank you so much for making our day so special, and Battello for being the best wedding venue. We are so happy we can go back and have dinner at the most special place.

Battello is the best of the best. She was kind and funny and was always right there to fill our drinks! The views at Battello are unmatched and our guests took hundreds of beautiful photos! Battello was the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding. We received so many compliments on our choice of venue from our guests- they were impressed by the views, the beauty of the venue, and most of all the incredible food. So many guests have told us that this was the best wedding they've attended, period. But I think what truly sets Battello apart are the people: from the moment of our initial walkthrough with Megan to the day of our wedding/reception, every single thing was incredibly seamless to the point that I wondered if I was missing something. I wasn't- the Battello team are just *that* on top of everything. I had a million questions leading up to the wedding, and Megan patiently and thoroughly answered every single one of them, and even our vendors loved working with her. The day of the wedding, not only was everything executed PERFECTLY, Tammy (the bridal attendant) was so thorough in making sure everyone in the bridal party had everything they needed. She was a true rockstar, making sure all the cocktail hour apps were set aside for us, making sure we were fed, and that things were running perfectly. She even went above and beyond in helping my sister and her baby navigate his egg allergy throughout the night. I'm not sure what I would have done without either Megan or Tammy! I don't have enough stars or words to describe just how perfect Battello was. My husband and I can't wait to go back for special occasions, and encourage any couple to just book them!

Five stars is NOT enough to rate Battello; they deserve a hundred stars! I knew from the second I Googled \"unique wedding venues,\" that Battello was it. Once I called and spoke with Megan, I knew that when I went from my appointment I was going to end up leaving a deposit. At the appointment, Dominique was so welcoming, informative, and extremely accommodating. Throughout the entire planning process, Dominique answered any and all questions (I had a bunch), and dealt with my random thoughts via email, always in a timely manner, and never making me feel like a bother. Then, the day of... I cannot even describe how PERFECT it was. If there was any issues throughout the day/night, I honestly have no idea because that is how smooth everything ran. From arriving for the first look, the ceremony, reception, after party, and down to picking up my stuff the next day, everything was so seamless. All of my guests raved about the service, and the food. Tammi is also the best bridal attendant anyone can have. Battello's system is on point, and if you want to have a stress free, enjoyable wedding (from planning through your reception), Battello is the place. My husband and I cannot wait to return to Battello for dinner, and are hoping someone has a party there that we can attend. Battello, and all of the workers, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The staff, led by Dominique, Megan and Tammy, were fantastic to work with and made everything so easy for us. The food was to DIE for -- everything from the first cheese board to the last bite of cake was some of the best we have ever had at a wedding. Finally, the team was able to be flexible with us on adding extra food options when we had a lower guest count than initially expected. It was all so much better than we could have ever hoped for. We looked at so many venues in 2020 for my daughters Oct 15th 2022 wedding. Right from the beginning we all loved the views and ambiance. More than anything we were thrilled with Dominique. She was a big part of the reason we chose Battello's. Over the course of the next 2 years she and her team worked tirelessly to make sure the wedding would be amazing. As the day approached there were many little details that needed to be attended to. She and her team made sure it was all handled with ease. The night of the wedding was perfect. We had nothing to worry about. They along with the vendors and my daughter made the place spectacular. Our guests are still talking about the abundance and quality of the food. It was so good. It was so amazing. Everyone from the servers, bartenders and management were flawless. I truly want to thank Dominique, Tammi (wedding coordinator) and the team for a wedding we will never forget.

It was such a pleasure working with Megan and the whole Battello team. Their team was on top of everything. We had booked during the pandemic in 2020 and finally had our wedding in July 2022. Megan and Dominique were knowledgeable, supportive, and understanding throughout the entire process. Every question I had, big or small, Megan or Dominique would always get back to me. On the day of, they were all super helpful with setting up the decorations I had (extra candles, signs, stands, etc. - I didn’t have a wedding planner/outside day of coordinator nor did I feel the need for one). They were all so attentive. We had many guests tell us how amazing was our wedding. Our guests very much enjoyed the endless amount of food, the raw bar, and the views. It’s truly a unique venue that combines a cool industrial nautical look with warm romantic feels and the modern nyc view all in one. Everything was impeccable and truly felt like I had the wedding of my dreams. From the delicious food, the great views, and amazing staff/service - you can’t go wrong with Battello.

My wife and I were scheduled to get married at Battello, our favorite restaurant, on March 19th. Working with Megan at Battello was a breeze and they made us feel very confident throughout the process that it was going to be a perfect night. Especially the tasting, which was a bit of a party with other couples getting married that season. Tragically, the night before the wedding my father very unexpectedly and suddenly passed away. We had no idea what to do as the wedding was the next day. We called Battello to cancel and they immediately committed to giving our money back, which they did days later. Later that week, I reached out to Megan to see if there was any chance of rescheduling. Miraculously, they had an opening in June on a Friday, and maintained the same contract with the same prices. Battello doing these things for us was not a part of the contract, but rather what they decided to do out of a commitment to their customers, and truly above and beyond what anyone would expect. They were so heartfelt with their communications and I cannot imagine how tough things would be if they weren't so accomodating.The wedding thankfully went through on June 3rd and we had the time of our lives and Battello also helped us honor my fathers memory with a memorial table. The food is the best I have ever had at a wedding and that was echoed by our guests. Additionally, the views and location were impeccable, and the service from Megan, Tammy and their staff was above anything I would have expected.If you're getting married in Jersey City or the NYC area and are considering Battello - do it. It was an experience of a lifetime, on top of how accomodating and kind they were in the wake of a tragedy. We can never thank them enough for what they did and will always reccomend them.

After our very first dinner at Battello (almost 5 months before we even got engaged) I told my now husband “I’m going to marry you here.” Sure enough, I did! What first attracted us to Battello was the incredibly delicious food. We were taken back by just how beautiful the view was, even besides the NYC skyline. Those two things brought us through the door but it was Dominique who made the decision that much more clear. She was extremely informative during our initial meeting and attentive during every conversation there after. While planning, Dominique answered all (and there were a lot) of our questions, gave advice per her experience and expertise, accommodated important changes just four days before the wedding, and was compassionate during moments of panic. On our wedding day, seeing how much thought she put into designing every detail, especially our remembrance trunk, made the day that much more special. She also created the worlds best cookie display for our favors!!! The team Dominique has on her side, especially Tammy our bridal attendant, were just as attentive and accommodating as her. Tammy assisted with just about everything that night from bustling (what we learned to be) my slightly complicated dress, keeping us on schedule for the few important traditions we included but never made us feel rushed, allowed us time to enjoy all of the food we looked forward to eating, helped me get my swollen feet out of my heels and into sneakers, and did it ALL with a smile. To no surprise, our guests felt they same as us. They were so impressed by how delicious the food was, that the interior decor was equally as beautiful as the skyline view, and that every single staff member was kind and helpful. We cannot thank Dominque and her team enough for making our wedding the most perfect day we’ll remember forever.

Although, they gave us the option of returning our deposit and cancelling our plan, we were so moved and appreciated by them during the beginning of the pandemic that we instead pushed our party another year and celebrated our first year anniversary. It was beautiful, so much fun, felt very us, and was a wonderful culmination of a difficult couple of years. Battello really made that happen for us and we're so grateful. Also, food is AWESOME.

From the first moment we visited Battello we knew we had to have our wedding here. We had dinner and lunch at the restaurant before and knew the food was incredible especially the zeppole for dessert. Dominique was an absolute pleasure to work with and so professional and experienced in creating the best experience for us and our guests. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue and they were able to make the transition seamless. They were incredibly gracious throughout the process in allowing us time to drop off items prior and pick them up after and getting all of our vendors setup. The venue itself is wonderfully decorated and has an amazing view which created a wonderful atmosphere. Of course the food was amazing from the cocktail hour to the dinner and dessert and exactly what we wanted, with the hardest part deciding which delicious options to choose which was made easier when we had our tasting a few months prior which itself was an amazing event. The bar was amazing, fast, and efficient and were great in making us two unique custom cocktails for the wedding. There was also an amazing option to have a wine and cheese pairing at the end of the night which ourselves and all our guests enjoyed as it created a one of a kind experience not typically found at other venues. Our wedding day experience was immaculate and the bridal attendant Tammy was amazing and got us everything we needed from drinks to a platter of all the cocktail hour food so we could enjoy in their bridal sweet to just being the most amazing and attentive and gracious host. We chose Battello because we knew it was going to be an amazing experience and it exceeded our expectations from the hospitality to us and our guests, to the service, to the food it was truly the perfect place to get married and we felt so welcome and celebrated!

Cannot say enough good things about Battello, our wedding was an absolute dream! The space is of course beautiful but it is the staff and food that makes it over the top. Dominique was amazing to work with, she is so responsive and beyond accommodating. She was a huge help during the planning process and made all of our asks (including a French fry bar) a reality. The staff was incredibly attentive, constantly making sure we had everything we needed and that guests were take care of. The servers would anticipated every need, even going as far as bringing guests a refresh of their drink while on the dance floor (speaking of dance floor, there was someone on staff making sure it never got dirty/slippery!). A special shout out to Manny from our friends/head table who voted you MVP of the night. Your service was out of this world!The food at Battello is on another level, far from your typical wedding food. The canapés were great but the entrees were next level which is so unusual for a big event. Food came out hot and everyone’s plates were licked clean. Our guests were big foodies and we received the highest of compliments. Lastly, the views are amazing. So special, especially if you have a lot of out of towners. Everyone loved taking photos outside.In short, we highly recommend Battello :).

Megan was a dream to work with - so professional, responsive, and kind from the moment we walked in for our first tour, to the very end. We planned our wedding in 6 months, and she made me confident it would be possible, even from a long distance. Every time I spoke to or saw her she put me at ease. Everything from day 1 was executed seamlessly and super organized. The tasting was a really wonderful night that the team clearly put a lot of effort into making special, and made my husband and I even more excited for our day. Tammy, our bridal attendant, was also amazing - making sure me, my husband, and our families had what we needed before we even realized we needed something, and she was incredible warm and caring. The day was executed flawlessly, no detail was overlooked, service was incredible, and as I mentioned before the food was truly the best. I wish I could do it all over again at Battello!

I would marry my husband 100 times over again as long as we could do it at Battello. There's not a single thing I could say negatively about this place. From the moment we walked through the doors, Dominique and her team were incredibly helpful. We felt great vibes and signed the contract the same day we toured (it was our first venue and only venue tour - that's how good it was). The entire process was so incredible. The team at Battello executed our vision perfectly. There were no asks too big or small, and any idea we had they were happy to accommodate. Not to mention the incredible value you get with this venue. The food and beverage is the most extensive and inclusive I saw in all my research and beyond that it was the best wedding food I've ever had in my life. The only regret my husband and I had? Not eating more on the day because we loved the food so much. The entire planning process was great, we were in constant communication in the year+ of planning, had the loveliest tasting a few months beforehand, and got so many compliments on the space from family and friends. I don't think there's a more beautiful location or venue. In addition to all the amazing work Dominique did to help us leading up to and on the day, we also worked with Tammy as the Bridal Attendant. I could write a 2 page review just for her. Somehow she was everywhere at once. She helped with my veil, taping me into my dress, getting me flip flops, with drinks, with food, with a smile. Seriously, this was the best team. Even our guests noticed how great she was. 100000/10, A+ dream team, 100% would book again and again. Thank you Battello for making our wedding absolutely perfect!!

I don't think there's a more beautiful location or venue. In addition to all the amazing work Dominique did to help us leading up to and on the day, we also worked with Tammy as the Bridal Attendant. I could write a 2 page review just for her. Somehow she was everywhere at once. She helped with my veil, taping me into my dress, getting me flip flops, with drinks, with food, with a smile. Seriously, this was the best team. Even our guests noticed how great she was. 100000/10, A+ dream team, 100% would book again and again. Thank you Battello for making our wedding absolutely perfect!!

My husband and I got married at Battello in October and it was just wonderful. I can't say enough about this venue-everyone involved truly made the day perfect. Leading up to the day, working with Megan was the easiest part of wedding planning. She is organized, a complete professional, and most importantly so nice and caring. She made planning (in a pandemic!) a breeze and was always willing to answer questions and help along the way. The team at Battello also makes you feel so special leading up to your wedding. One example is the care they put into making your menu tasting a fun and special part of the whole process.On the day of our wedding, the weather wasn't the best. Given that, we weren't able to take as many pictures outside as we had planned. The team at Battello did everything possible to make sure we could move our pictures inside, even as they were working to get the venue ready for the night. We arranged for the shuttle to be available for any guests that needed the transportation from the DoubleTree across the street. Given the weather, we ended up having many more guests than expected that were looking for a ride to the venue. Battello did not stop until every guest was transported safely (and dry!). We can't thank them enough for that. Robbie (the shuttle driver) won the day!Tammy was with me every step of the way all day and night. She made sure my husband and I ate dinner, had everything we needed and made sure we got to experience all of the little moments throughout the day. One example was when Tammy pulled my husband and I into the reception room to see if before everyone came in. She is an angel and a superstar!Our guests could not stop talking about Battello. The venue is amazingly beautiful and the view is awesome. But what people kept coming up to us was about the delicious food and the team. The team that treated everyone as they were part of the Battello family. I had more than one person tell me they can't wait to go back and eat there for dinner. We went into our wedding truly just wanting an amazing, warm and fun celebration with our family and friends. We were so excited to have found each other and to get married. But the entire team at Battello created a night that we truly will never ever forget. Battello was our dream venue and made our day one for the books!

I cannot say enough about Megan and the team at Battello. They are all truly amazing!My husband and I viewed Battello for our wedding venue in October 2019 and booked our wedding for December 2020. From the moment I stepped into the venue I knew this was where I wanted to get married. Megan made the process so easy and enjoyable. During the pandemic, Megan was always in contact with us and she was the sweetest person to deal with. We had to postpone our wedding to 2021 due to the pandemic, but Battello was simply amazing during EVERYTHING. My Husband and I heard horror stories from people about their vendors rescheduling and such, but we could not talk more highly of how Battello treated us.The day of our Wedding WOW!! I was blown away. We met with Megan a few times to review our vision, menu, etc and she went above our expectations. During the wedding, our guests could not stop telling us how amazing the venue was and how great the food was. They are still talking about Battello to this day.All I can say is if you are thinking about having your wedding at Battello, DO IT. It will truly be a dream come true and you will not be disappointed. I wish I could relive that day a million times over but good thing is we can go back to have lunch, dinner or drinks since they are a restaurant. Cannot wait to go back soon!!

This is the world's best wedding venue. The food is spectacular. The ambiance is unmatched. And the staff is TOP NOTCH. We had a perfect Friday Night wedding in November. Our guests were all in awe of the beautiful restaurant whose subtle hanging lights and stunning NYC backdrop make for a jaw dropping entrance. The event coordinators Megan and Dominique go above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly the way you want it. We didn't hire an outside coordinator, and certainly didn't need one because Megan had everything organized and prepared. Then the day-of bridal attendant Tammy made the evening run so smoothly for me as the bride.

Having our wedding at Battello was the best decision we made!! When we got engaged, my husband and I knew exactly what we didn't want - a run of the mill wedding at a catering hall. Battello was the second (and last!) wedding venue we visited and we signed a contract the next day. Battello had exactly what we were looking for: exceptional food, quality service, a unique space and experienced staff. The breathtaking views of NYC were the icing on the cake! Let's start with the staff- Dominique is incredibly professional and accommodating, she answered my (many) e-mails quickly and was always available to help. Tammy was our bridal attendant and she was also amazing. From the second I stepped into the bridal suite before the ceremony she was there to make sure I had everything I needed/wanted. After our ceremony, she shuttled my husband and I back to the bridal suite so we could have a few moments alone to relax, have a drink and eat some of our cocktail hour food. Tammy was VERY adamant that I eat (good advice for any bride to be!) and literally had plates of every single food waiting for us. She also handled the little things that you don't want to think about on your wedding day- bustling the gown, removing the veil, etc. She's just a gem. Beyond that, the entire team - Chefs, Bartenders, Managers - were truly so warm and professional. As for the food and service, it was beyond all our expectations. Everything, from the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, raw bar, stations to the plated dinner was beyond. We had guests coming up to us throughout the night saying they have never eaten so much food at a wedding - we're still getting texts/calls about the food two weeks later! Several of my parents' guests even made reservations to dine there after the holidays. For a special touch, we added a scotch and cigar bar, cannoli bar and zeppoli station - all of which were crowd favorites! I can't say enough wonderful things about Battello. If you're looking for a venue that is unique, provides unparalleled hospitality and service, and delicious food, you must book Battello. My only hope is I get invited to a wedding at Battello in the near future so I can experience it all over again!

This was, hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding. Battello is the BEST PLACE to have a wedding. Dominique and her team are incredibly talented and kind. Our guests continued to tell us days after our wedding how amazing the service was, no joke it was the number one topic of wedding discussions. Dominique was beyond helpful and put our mind at ease when it came to planning and we were never stressed with logistics which is so so so nice. Tammy, the bridal attendant, was also incredible. She took care of our individual need; she kept us constantly satisfied with food/drink, helped me with my veil/helped fix my hair post veil, and was our time manager with dances/cake cutting and all things we did not want to think about on our wedding day. And then of course, Battello is an absolute beautiful venue. We ended up taking away some of the added decor because this place really does't need it. The ambiance, lighting, skyline... everything is just too perfect for words. It was a beautiful night as we are beyond words with how happy we were. If we have any future events to plan, we will definitely go here again!

This is the hardest review to write because I cannot say enough amazing things about Battello for this review to do them justice. We'll start with the logistics. We had to reschedule our wedding three times because of Covid. Dominique, who was our wedding contact at Battello, was empathetic, kind and just generally unbelievably understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. We never felt like just another random couple to her, and we felt beyond supported as we navigating the nightmare that was Covid for a wedding. I feel so lucky that we were able to be working with such wonderful humans during this insane time. They say that when you're in the worst situation is when your true colors show, and for a restaurant during the pandemic to be so kind speaks volumes to me about Dominique and the Battello family.The wedding itself was perfect. The view is beautiful, the food is delicious, the venue is so pretty you hardly need to do anything to decorate, the size was perfect for what we wanted (ended up being about 140, but you can definitely fit more). Dominique and our bridal attendant, Tammy, took care of us from the second we walked into the door. They thought of EVERYTHING! My bridesmaids dress wouldn't zip, they sewed it.. I was hungry right before the ceremony, boom they brought some delicious heated bread... I couldn't find my bridesmaids to bustle my dress, no problem because Tammy has done it 1,000 times. They really were like the wedding Avengers.If you're on the fence about this venue just know you will be in good hands and everything will be magical. Stop thinking about it and just DO IT. It's also an added bonus that you can go back and relive the magic for dinner since it's a restaurant.

This is the hardest review to write because I cannot say enough amazing things about Battello for this review to do them justice. We'll start with the logistics. We had to reschedule our wedding three times because of Covid. Dominique, who was our wedding contact at Battello, was empathetic, kind and just generally unbelievably understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. We never felt like just another random couple to her, and we felt beyond supported as we navigating the nightmare that was Covid for a wedding. I feel so lucky that we were able to be working with such wonderful humans during this insane time. They say that when you're in the worst situation is when your true colors show, and for a restaurant during the pandemic to be so kind speaks volumes to me about Dominique and the Battello family.The wedding itself was perfect. The view is beautiful, the food is delicious, the venue is so pretty you hardly need to do anything to decorate, the size was perfect for what we wanted (ended up being about 140, but you can definitely fit more). Dominique and our bridal attendant, Tammy, took care of us from the second we walked into the door. They thought of EVERYTHING! My bridesmaids dress wouldn't zip, they sewed it.. I was hungry right before the ceremony, boom they brought some delicious heated bread... I couldn't find my bridesmaids to bustle my dress, no problem because Tammy has done it 1,000 times. They really were like the wedding Avengers.If you're on the fence about this venue just know you will be in good hands and everything will be magical. Stop thinking about it and just DO IT. It's also an added bonus that you can go back and relive the magic for dinner since it's a restaurant.

Battello was by far the BEST decision we made for our wedding. They are absolutely unbelievable in their service, food, ambiance and overall experience. Dominique, Megan and Tammy were SO amazing in guiding us thru the wedding planning process and helping us to navigate postponing a wedding through covid. I can’t thank them enough for that. I had read reviews before regarding food and service and my husband and I have dined with Battello plenty of times before so we had a good idea that the food was going to be incredible but WOW, words can’t do it justice. The whole team Chef RD, Justin the GM, the bartenders are all so warm and welcoming. I want to get married again just to be able to work with this team and relive how absolutely stunning our day was. We had our daughter and son in law's wedding at Battello last week and we couldn't have been happier! Everything was perfection from beginning to end! The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the service, the food, (did I mention the food) was incredible! Our guests are still complimenting us and saying that it was the best wedding they have ever been too by far. Dominique was wonderful and always available whenever we had any questions or concerns throughout the planning process including the day of the wedding. If you are looking for a magical evening, this is your place! We highly recommend Battello for your special event and would give them more than five stars if we could. We can't wait to go back for dinner!

Battello was the best decision we made in regards to our wedding. From all the planning to the execution, Dominique and her team did a phenomenal job. The venue, in itself, is gorgeous, overlooking the water with amazing views of downtown NYC - you cannot ask for a better landscape. The interior is just as lovely - beautiful rustic finishing which screams elegance and romance. I'm not even sure where to begin, but let's start with the food. IT WAS FANTASTIC. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about the food, the cocktail hour and even the cake! I received texts all day after the wedding telling me how they have never eaten so much at a wedding and that every piece of food was out of this world - even the bread on the table. I can confirm these sentiments because I had the chance to eat some of the food and man, that alone makes Battello a 10/10 venue. The bacon wrapped scallops, the raw bar, the carving station, the seared beef crostini, the jumbo shrimp, the tuscan table....I can keep going - but I cannot stress enough how delicious it all was. Dominique and her team worked with us to make sure our vision came to life. The ketubah signing was done in the wine cellar which by the way is gorgeous? I didn't even know Battello had one and I was again blown away. The ceremony was beautifully set up and my place card champagne idea came to life with the help of Dominique and her team. Also, they had everything - all the signs, the card box, the linens, the votive candles, the table numbers...I did not have to do ANY extra work and that made my life absolutely heavenly. The actual wedding went perfectly - everything according to plan and the bridal attendant, Tammy, is a DREAM. She bustled my dress, she fed us amazing food, she had drinks waiting for us whenever we turned around, she brought me my veil, she took care of my dog (who was the ring boy/dog)...she literally went above and beyond every second of the event and I cannot thank her enough. EVERYONE LOVED TAMMY.Honestly - I can keep going, but the main point is that you should 100% book Battello as your ceremony and reception venue. They take care of you and make your wedding day a WHOLE DAMN DREAM.

I refused to look at any other venues, there was no point. The space is gorgeous, you get an amazing view of the city and the most important thing is the food, it’s amazing. We got so many compliments on the food. People were raving and reminiscing of the food. The second most important thing is the staff, Dominique was the best and incredibly accommodating to our needs. The bridal attendant Tammy was super sweet and the entire staff was a dream to work with. We had originally planned to get married in September of 2022 but when we met with Dominique we asked if there were any availability for 2021. Expecting her to say no due to COVID and everyone rescheduling. There was one date available and it was in September on the same weekend we were requesting for 2022. You see? Magical and amazing things happen here!!

I booked Batello for my bridal shower and all I can say is it was amazing. We were in the lounge, which has industrial/nautical décor that was so easy to accessorize with flowers and votives! The room does not need much! The food was great - we had everything from pastas, to a variety of salads, pastries, and more! It was a great mix of food for a moderately sized group with varying dietary restrictions. We did mimosas and bloody mary's for cocktails - they were delicious and the bartender worked very hard to ensure everyone was served quickly!Megan and her team made our experience so easy and seamless. Before the event, Megan was very attentive via email/phone in getting all the final details together and confirmed! On the day of the event, we were able to arrive a couple hours ahead to set up, which made things super low stress and easy. During the event, the team was great about replenishing the buffet and making sure all tables had cocktails and water!I would absolutely recommend Batello for any event, large or small. They are very professional, the restaurant is gorgeous, the food is amazing, and it is in a great location! Our guests were enamored with the space, food, and cocktails!

Megan was so patient with us as we were deciding how/when to postpone and settling on a new date. Megan & Dominique planned a wonderful tasting event for couples prior to their weddings and answered countless questions about details and planning. On the wedding day, Megan and Tammy (the bridal attendant) were SO accommodating and the team in general truly provided impeccable service. The venue with NYC views is stunning in itself, and the cocktail hour set-up with countless food options truly begin the night. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather, so Battello created lounge areas with couches and tables by the water as well. Truly an overall fantastic planning experience and an unforgettable night at Battello.

It's hard to find unique wedding venues in New Jersey that aren't mansions or chateaus, so when we discovered Battello in 2020, we knew that it was where we wanted to get married. Working with Dominque was a true joy - she was helpful, experienced, and accommodating. Everyone in the hospitality industry could learn a thing or two from Dominque who helped make our wedding planning experience an unforgettable one. A few notable thing about Battello: they hosted a wonderful tasting event a few weeks prior to what would have been our wedding date, were flexible about our customized specialty drinks request, has a great location/view of the city, and amazing food to boot. Unfortunately, our April 3rd, 2020 wedding plans were derailed due to Covid. Battello was incredibly understanding and willing to work with us on our new plans, which was a blessing.Overall, we can't recommend Battello enough and have been recommending t as a venue to all of our friends! We hope one day to be able to attend a Battello wedding - so please choose Battello and invite us ;)

Battello was the only venue we toured and we knew instantly this was the place we were going to choose! Megan is amazing - she is sweet, attentive and accommodating. Megan was so helpful during our planning process, especially when COVID hit. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our initial date due to COVID and then ultimately had to make the difficult choice to cancel our postponement date due to COVID. It was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make, but Megan was so understanding, helpful and accommodating during this difficult decision process. Although it didn't end up happening for us, I highly recommend Battello for your special day!

The best wedding I've ever been to (and yes, it was my own)! Everything about Battello is perfect. The space itself is beautiful with stunning views of the NYC skyline. The food is outstanding and there are so many options! Most importantly (especially with all of the horror stories I've heard about venues working through Covid) the staff is beyond thoughtful! Battello went above and beyond to accommodate us during the rocky road of planning a wedding during Covid. They presented every option available and made us so extremely comfortable with our decision. The day after our wedding at Battello, my phone had so many kind messages. \"Best wedding I've ever been to\" \"The best dinner I've ever had\" \"I thought cocktail hour was our dinner, I was so blown away\" - Just to share a fewDominique was an absolute pleasure to work with! She helped us plan and execute the best wedding we could have ever imagined. Her ideas and suggestions were extremely helpful and thoughful. Tammy was a rockstar the entire day of the wedding! The bottom of my dress was dragged through dirt/mud during our first look. I don't know what she did, but my dress looked brand new with the help of Tammy and tide wipes. If you're getting married here, I highly reccomend adding the zeppoli station. I can't say enough great things about Battello! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because it was truly such a great experience!

My husband and I moved to Jersey City a little over a year ago not really knowing the area. We didn't really feel at home until we found Battello and realized the potential of the area. We ate at Battello regularly always saying that we would love to get married there. We went a completely different route than most and decided to get married pretty quickly. We decided to have a small ceremony and dinner in the wine room with our closest friends and family with hopefully a larger reception in the future. This quickly planned \"micro wedding\" turned out to be intimate and romantic just the way I envisioned it. Megan was a huge help as I was back and forth on many options and details leading up to the big day. The food was impeccable as always. The guests really enjoyed themselves, the food and the ambiance. Our waitress, Tammy, took the lead and made sure was perfect throughout our time there. From keeping our food warm while we took pictures to reading the room when the right time for each course was. We truly had a memorable night and really enjoyed ourselves. Finally our day was made complete with Anthony McMahon as our amazing photographer who was able to capture the beauty of the NYC skyline and our guests. My husband and I moved to Jersey City a little over a year ago not really knowing the area. We didn't really feel at home until we found Battello and realized the potential of the area. We ate at Battello regularly always saying that we would love to get married there. We went a completely different route than most and decided to get married pretty quickly. We decided to have a small ceremony and dinner in the wine room with our closest friends and family with hopefully a larger reception in the future. This quickly planned \"micro wedding\" turned out to be intimate and romantic just the way I envisioned it. Megan was a huge help as I was back and forth on many options and details leading up to the big day. The food was impeccable as always. The guests really enjoyed themselves, the food and the ambiance. Our waitress, Tammy, took the lead and made sure was perfect throughout our time there. From keeping our food warm while we took pictures to reading the room when the right time for each course was. We truly had a memorable night and really enjoyed ourselves. Finally our day was made complete with Anthony McMahon as our amazing photographer who was able to capture the beauty of the NYC skyline and our guests. Where to begin...my husband and I always knew Battello was our venue we even talked about it before we ever got engaged how this was the place for us. We got engaged in 2018 and the moment we could book we secured our April 4th of 2020 date...then COVID happened, to say Dominique was a blessing to work with is an understatement...she took an extremely stressful decision, day and what could have been process and made it so easy. We were finally able to get married on October 30th and of course on top of COVID still being around we had a winter storm (I mean its 2020 why not) but I didn't have to worry about anything because Dominique and her team had it all under control...during our ceremony the sky cleared and the sun started coming out and when we arrived at Battello before cocktail hour we were just blow away, the day, the meal, the level of service was impeccable. People are still talking about our reception and we have been told by multiple people top 3 or best wedding they have ever been to and we give Dominique, Chef Ryan, Cory, Joe and the whole team all the credit because they made it happen. We didn't do a typical sit down dinner we did a cocktail style reception and my future MIL was not about it, she questioned if there would be enough food she felt people would be disappointed or miss their steak or chicken entree and we kept telling her to not worry...she still talks about all the food and how much there was and how delicious it was to this day. I have to suggest using the wine room we did a wine tasting in there and it was perfect everyone loved it. Tami who was everywhere for my husband and I is amazing she made sure we did not want for anything and words cannot express how grateful we were for her that night. If you are looking for the place that will 1) Give you the amazing views of NYC, 2) Keep people in awe of the space and 3) provide you with a level of service, food and hospitality that will leave you and your guests in awe you have to book Battello. There is no detail left untouched they are absolutely perfect and we cannot thank them enough. Cory, Joe, Chef Ryan, Dominique, Tami and the whole team THANK YOU for making our wedding day a dream come true.

All I can say is that Battello's and Dominque are a class act! My son and now daughter-in -law were scheduled to have their wedding on October 3rd, 2020 at Battello's. As so many of you know, with the uncertainty of the current COVID 19 situation they had to cancel their reception at Battello's for the 3rd, but had a back up date in July just in case they decided to hold the event. During the whole time, they were so stressed, concerned, and fearful of losing all they had invested in their reception. Dominque, was so wonderful, supportive and caring and reassured them whatever they decided would not be a problem. My son and daughter-in-law recently decided not to move forward with the July reception, again due to the uncertainty of where the world will be, along with other vendors not being so cooperative. Not Battello's! Without question and hesitation, they refunded their deposit. Who does that? With all the horror stories I had heard and read about, it didn't happen with Battello's.Battello's will be held in high regard in our household and whenever possible they will receive all our support and accolades. We will be their best advertisement. So, if you are thinking of having any sort of event, Battello's is your place. Again, from the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank you enough.

Megan helped us plan our event in less than 8 weeks. Our party got smaller and smaller as the date approached and Megan helped us pivot each time. The wedding day was a dream come true - everything was seamless, the staff was fantastic, and the food was incredible, It was far from our original plan but it was everything that we could have dreamed of. Battello gave us the option to postpone or cancel our wedding with a full refund and for that we are so grateful. This place is first class when it comes to customer service. Seriously! My stomach has been in knots regarding whether to go forward with wedding or not. i have heard horror stories from other brides and venues. BATTELLO gave me the option to reschedule or get 100% deposit back to cancel!!! the pressure that takes off me as a bride is priceless. BATTELLO is putting their customers before everything else. I had my wedding at Battello on March 14, 2020 (right before the lockdown). When I first met Megan (coordinator for Battello) my then fiance and I had such a great feeling about booking this venue. She made us feel at ease and answered every silly and pertinent question I had leading up to the event. The wedding tasting was so much fun! We knew the food was fantastic from having dinner at Battello, but the options for the wedding were so tasty! It just made me so much more excited for our wedding day! Getting married during COVID was so stressful but Megan, Dominique and Tammy were amazing! I cant stress enough that everything went off without skipping a beat that day. I was a wreck! But they reassured me they were going to do everything in their power to make it perfect...That was an understatement! The staff went the extra mile to clean every rail and handle every 30 minutes and every staff member changed their gloves after serving each drink and meal. That being said, the food was unbelievable (a major reason we booked this venue). My friends and family still cannot stop talking about the food and amazing drinks and service! My very picky guests said it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been to. Everyone has raved to me how beautiful the venue is, the impeccable service from the staff. This is what every bride wants to hear at the end of the night! The pictures are beautiful! I am so happy with my decision to choose Battello for my wedding! We plan on returning every anniversary for dinner. My advice, if you are thinking of booking this venue, dont think twice! We couldnt be happier! We recently got married at and had our reception at Battello in Jersey City in February. Words cannot even describe how amazing our wedding was and am convinced we could not have had a better wedding/reception experience at any other venue!Battello was the first venue we saw after we got engaged and put down our deposit within days after our initial meeting. Being located right on the Jersey City waterfront, Battello has the most breathtaking view of the New York City skyline and is obviously the first thing that jumps out at you upon visiting the restaurant. After getting over the initial awe of the front row seat you have to the city, we noticed Battello’s modern, industrial chic decor fit our style perfectly. The restaurant has high ceilings, industrial light fixtures, a spacious open concept and panoramic huge, beautiful windows so that all of your guests can take in the beautiful city view.The perfect location and beautiful interior though somehow played second fiddle to the world class service and AMAZING food that Battello had to offer. Our initial meeting was with Battello’s Director of Events, Dominique. Her professional, yet relaxed and inviting personality made us feel at ease right off the bat. Dominique made the entire planning process, leading all the way up to our wedding day, an extremely simple and stress free one! Her professionalism and organization is really unmatched and we felt extremely calm and confident on that day because of her. Battello’s wedding day staff of Bridal Attendants, Banquet Captains, Waiters and Bartenders were all equally as amazing as Dominique, and made sure our guests were well taken care of. The number one compliment we continue too receive from guests is about the excellence and attentiveness of the waitstaff. Battello is of course also one of the best restaurants around and the food at our wedding was excellent. We lost count of how many compliments we got about the food and how many of our guests told us that it was hands down the best cocktail hour / wedding reception food they’ve ever had. We completely agree and plan on making dinner reservations as soon as we can, post quarantine, in order to keep sampling more of the menu!Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it was a byproduct of a beautiful restaurant, with the perfect location, amazing food and an even better staff that made it all happen! A review just doesn’t do it justice; the ceremony and reception was absolutely spectacular and it exceeded our expectations. We are so sad that it's over and wish we could do it again!We cannot say enough great things about Battello and recommend every couple look no further for their perfect wedding venue!

We unfortunately are one of the many people affected by COVID-19 and with so much uncertainty we will not be having our wedding in May at Battello. However, we can not say enough amazing things about working with Megan and Battello. I married my husband at Battello on September 6. We are from CT and after searching 100+ venues in CT and surrounding states (not exaggerating), I stumbled upon Battello- which was EXACTLY what I had been looking for. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and requires minimal decor. Dominique was my point of contact throughout the planning process and I can’t begin to explain what a help she was. My emails to her were so frequent and filled with endless amounts of random questions - but she was always responsive and willing to help. Dominique is so personable, helpful, and good at what she does that you’re made to feel like your wedding is not just YOUR biggest event of the year, but also hers.The day of our wedding, it POURED. Even so, the venue and views were still beautiful, they accommodated our group by adding shuttle transportation for our guests last minute from our hotel to Battello and back at the end of the night. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour- many have said it was the best cocktail hour they had ever been to. Our entrees were delicious, and our wedding cake (which was included within our package) looked exactly like the inspiration photo I shared with Dominique. The day of our wedding I was pleasantly surprised with a bridal attendant, Tammy- wow! Tammy made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hand all night, and a chance to taste everything amidst the chaos of greeting all of our guests. I didn’t realize how much I needed Tammy until the night was over. I wish I could relive this day again and again. Our guests are still talking about it and I have not one complaint from start to finish. 100 times over, I’d pick Battello again. THANK YOU!

Choosing Battello for our special day was the best decision we could have made. My husband and I were looking for a venue that included a rustic feel, yet still captured a taste of NYC. Battello did not disappoint. The director of events, Dominique Borzomati was so easy to communicate with from the beginning of our planning process all the way until the wedding day! Dominique was attentive to any questions or requests we had and made the experience enjoyable. The venue transformed the restaurant setting into the most spectacular day. Each moment felt so special. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather and the outside ceremony looked so beautiful. We had minimal decor and the view itself was gorgeous! Everything was set up beautifully and I could not have asked for it to look any better. The cocktail space was also extremely unique and was set up perfectly with special touches and also with the items I had sourced. The team knew exactly how to set things up to make it perfect. The FOOD during cocktail hour was amazing. Many guests thought our cocktail hour was the reception food! Not only did our guests rave about the choices we had made from our tasting but we were lucky enough to be able to taste most of the dishes upstairs in the bridal loft. Speaking of the loft, I absolutely recommend this venue for this reason- amongst many other reasons. Not many venues offer a spacious loft that you can relax and get ready in. It's so nice to have that space after your vows too! As we viewed the reception space before the cocktail hour was over, we were stunned! The tables looked amazing as they were prepared for guests to come in and the outside space was yet again transformed into an outdoor lounge with their couches, tables, and rugs. It looked awesome and our guests absolutely loved being able to hang out and socialize outside rather than be glued to their seat all night. People were outside all night! The reception was amazing and the team made sure the service was seamless. The staff made sure guests had food at the same time and the service was impeccable. The food was amazing and went above and beyond typical wedding food- our guests said the food was the best wedding food they have ever had- the filet in particular were like steakhouse filets! Besides the bar, guests could also order drinks from their table- a feature I appreciated rather than weddings I've been to where people are in lines waiting all night. It was great. As mentioned before, Dominique and her team were extremely organized all night and communicated quietly through headsets to make sure every detail was perfect. I want to also shoutout the bridal attendant Tammy- she is a SUPERSTAR and if you are lucky enough to book this venue Tammy will make sure your night is perfect too! From the moment I arrived Tammy was making sure that me and my bridal group were happy, fed and having drinks all night! Any request I had Tammy was near me or by my side making sure whatever we needed happened so THANK YOU TAMMY you are amazing and our night was extra special thanks to you and the Battello team. I can't stress enough how special and beautiful this night was and am so happy that we chose this venue. Choosing Battello for our special day was the best decision we could have made. My husband and I were looking for a venue that included a rustic feel, yet still captured a taste of NYC. Battello did not disappoint. The director of events, Dominique Borzomati was so easy to communicate with from the beginning of our planning process all the way until the wedding day! Epic! Our wedding was epic for several reasons and Battello is at the top of the list. Battello is an amazing wedding venue that delivers in all the areas that one would expect in a wedding venue. Views. Ambiance. Staff. Food. Views again. I start with the views because they are breathtaking and honestly set the scene for a memorable wedding that your guests will be talking about for months and likely years to come. Not only are the views breathtaking, the overall ambiance inside is even better. The high ceilings and rustic decor just contribute to the romantic vibes and need very little additional frills. Simple centerpieces will do the trick and the rest is all Battello. The professional and friendly staff also contributed to our epic wedding. From the beginning, the wedding coordinators, Megan and Dominique, were first class, attentive and prompt in responding to questions. The night of the wedding continued this exceptional service with Tammy as bridal attendant. The food was the icing on the cake because it was delicious and plentiful...we anticipated this so made sure to box the cake for our guests. Megan was gracious enough to build the cake boxes! The views are worth mentioning again because an evening wedding in the summer afforded us daylight views and the sparkle of the city at night. I am glad that we have amazing photos and videos to capture the night and loving atmosphere that made our wedding epic!

I struggled with finding a wedding venue in New Jersey that fit my style. However, after seeing pictures of Battello I knew my search was over. Our wedding ceremony day was small and special. We got married at City Hall in Jersey City, with only our parents and siblings in attendance. For the special dinner afterwards, it was a no brainer to choose Battello, a few blocks away. I had been in contact with Megan throughout the whole process, and my husband and i popped in one day to check out the atmosphere and get some food, as well as see the small private space they had available for this type of event. We were 12 people total, and we had a small private, wine cellar-esqe room that was private and quiet and special. The table was massive wood, farmhouse style, and the entire experience just felt special and understated, exactly how we wanted it. The food & service were AMAZING, we picked a 4 course tasting menu, and everyone left stuffed and happy. Some of our favorites were the octopus appetizer and ricotta gnocchi, not to mention the beef duo & pork chop. All the details were so nicely done, including a specially printed menu with our names & the dinner details (which everyone ended up keeping as keepsakes)After dinner, our server was even nice enough to come outside to take photos of the group against the NYC skyline.Not only was this night extra special, i will look forward to celebrating many an anniversary here.

First, let me allow for the fact that I've known one of the executives, Cory Checket, for many years. That said, leaving anything BUT a first rate review would be doing everyone, especially the guest, a major disservice.I just got married here last weekend. I chose Battello for many reasons, not the least of which is it's gorgeous location along the Hudson River, opposite one of the most gorgeous city skylines (if not THE most gorgeous) in the world. When you sit down for dinner or drinks, you literally feel as though you're sitting at the foot of lower Manhattan, bowing to it's beautiful presence. That's not to take anything away from Battello's aesthetic appeal. The decor as mentioned in the Title of this review is stunning. Light, airy, industrial yet rustic. The building sits on the edge of a pier, which drops off into the Newport Yacht Club and Marina (read: HUGE YACHTS) (Jealousy). No, the yacht owners usually don't walk into Battello to ask if anyone wants to hang out, but why would you when you have this awesome decor, food and service. Speaking of -- the other reasons we chose Battello were just that: Food and service. Let's start with the latter. Everyone, from the owners, investors, chefs, servers, wedding coordinators, valets -- literally everyone is professional yet warm. During my wedding, which was supposed to be 90 people and ended up being nearly 130 (sorry, Dominique), if I so much as set my cocktail down, another one would be swooping in courtesy of the eagle-eyed support staff, including aforementioned Dominique B. and Tammy C. They were so, so on the ball from the day we first reached out to the day after when we came to pick up some of our stuff. Clearly, Cory and the other bosses put professionalism and friendliness at the top of the list when it comes to hiring. (And beauty!)As for the food. There has never been a party, in a large group setting, that -- in my opinion -- surpasses Battello when it comes to food. And I'm not the only person that says that. It's not banquet-y. It's as though the chef (imagine this!) looks at the bulk production of outgoing food as though each morsel has it's own tiny, happy place in the world lol. That sounds so ridiculous, but you get my drift. It's well done, and delicious. So if you do such a bang up job with large groups, imagine the care with a table of 4. A plus, every which way you look. Bravo and thank you!

The entire staff at Battello was superb! It was the first venue I visited and after meeting with Dominique Borzomati, the director of events, I immediately knew that this was the location for my wedding. The location and décor of the restaurant was exactly what I wanted. I was a very laid back bride in terms of planning, but thankfully Dominique had everything well organized. She was so calm and prepared which alleviated a lot of stress for me and my maid of honor, my sister. Her staff works like a well oiled machine and I could not have been happier. My bridal attendant, Tammy, was THE BEST, she was always by my side when I needed her during the ceremony and reception. The food was extraordinary, our guests could not get over the quality and quantity. Not to mention one of our guests had a last minute special request for her meal and they complied without hesitation. The service by the wait staff and bartenders was exemplary. I was especially impressed with the head sets that they had to communicate any issues, they were very discreet. My wedding was exactly what I had envisioned and more thanks to the entire staff at Battello. Everyone was exceptional and my wedding could not have gone any smoother.

Then I took to Google and began the search… alas, I found Battello. When I learned that Battello is a restaurant, instead of booking a meeting with the event manager (Dominique, the superstar - more about her later), I decided to go to dinner there with my fiancé to get an insider feel for what the place really is. I was blown away by the menu, the staff, the space, everything. After that dinner, we knew we didn’t have to bother going anywhere else. We really hit the bullseye.I wanted an event that would really highlight me and my now-husband and showcase who we are as a couple. I had the vision of a true, classic dinner party, complete with delicious food, live music, and a blend of me and my fiancé’s Southern European heritage with an edgy, urban vibe and NYC skyline. Our #1 priority was the food, and I knew that anything designed by the great Ryan DePersio would be a smash. We wanted our guests to feel like they were sitting down for a delicious dinner and not just a run-of-the-mill wedding reception. Dominique and I clicked the moment we met. She worked with me to find the perfect date and, as it got closer, she made sure I kept up with all of the important dates on our timeline. Since I now live out of state, she also worked very well with my wedding planner and even met with vendors on my behalf when I couldn’t make it to NJ. For example, our band wanted to do a walk through to make sure they could fit, so Dominique met with them since I couldn’t make it there. I also forgot to order my cake! But Dominique hooked us up with their preferred baker, and our cake was absolutely delicious. She answered all of my emails within 24-hours and was always willing to meet in person and speak over the phone. I also wanted to customize our cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and stations to reflect me and my fiancé’s favorite foods, and Dominique made it all possible by giving us her candid advice. I will admit that my parents were hesitant for us to host our wedding dinner at a restaurant, but afterwards, they were so happy that we chose a place with experienced staff and incredible ambiance. Dominique was not able to be present on my wedding day, BUT her associate Jayd and bridal attendant Tammy were there at my final walk-through so that the event would run smoothly. The three of them work as a well-oiled machine. Tammy knew that food was very important to us, so she even made sure my fiancé and I ate - literally, she made us plates of food and brought them to us as we mingled with our guests! Our guests were completely wowed by every little detail and I couldn’t have imagined our wedding being anywhere else! GRAZIE MILE to the incredible team at Battello - we will be back for dinner next month and are making a tradition of going there every year for our anniversary!Is there a way to give 10 stars?!

I also wanted to customize our cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and stations to reflect me and my fiancé’s favorite foods, and Dominique made it all possible by giving us her candid advice. I will admit that my parents were hesitant for us to host our wedding dinner at a restaurant, but afterwards, they were so happy that we chose a place with experienced staff and incredible ambiance. Dominique was not able to be present on my wedding day, BUT her associate Jayd and bridal attendant Tammy were there at my final walk-through so that the event would run smoothly. The three of them work as a well-oiled machine. Tammy knew that food was very important to us, so she even made sure my fiancé and I ate - literally, she made us plates of food and brought them to us as we mingled with our guests! Our guests were completely wowed by every little detail and I couldn’t have imagined our wedding being anywhere else! GRAZIE MILE to the incredible team at Battello - we will be back for dinner next month and are making a tradition of going there every year for our anniversary!Is there a way to give 10 stars?!

I had my wedding here April 2016 and I could not have imagined doing it anywhere else. The restaurant is on the water, beautiful skyline view, and the food is AMAZING. The service was also amazing, all my guests commented as to how great the service and bar tending was. Domique is a great coordinator for the site as well, very responsive. The options for food are amazing, I haven't seen that much food served ever and the quality was just great. If you want a great view, amazing service, great food, this is definitely the place. My husband and I still come for dinner and breakfast and actually attended their New Year party, because this place is amazing. OH, also, having seen many venues around the jersey city area, this place actually only allows one wedding event per night so you get undivided attention for yourself and guests which is worth the price of booking here.

Dominique Borzomati (Events Director) Born and raised in Montclair, Borzomati fell in love with event planning and the restaurant business as a little girl growing up in her uncle's restaurant in NY. She got her start at executive Chef Ryan DePersio’s flagship restaurant, Fascino, where she discovered her passion for food and the restaurant industry and had the opportunity to learn all aspects of front & back of house from one of the best in the business. As director of events at Battello, Dominique leads a team that pays attention to individual needs of clients and thrives to create truly memorable moments.
